00:00 (uplifting music)
00:21 - Hello and welcome to Jesus for Asia Now.
00:24 I'm Natalie Wood, and today we're going to hear some stories
00:27 from some of our Bible Workers.
00:29 You know, we have Bible Workers in India
00:31 and we often talk about them
00:33 but we have some in the Philippines as well.
00:35 And that's where we're going today.
00:37 My husband, John is here with me.
00:39 Hello, love.
00:40 - Hi darling, how are you?
00:41 - I'm doing fine.
00:42 - Good.
00:43 - You know, this is a different place.
00:45 - Yeah we normally talk about our Bible workers in India.
00:48 - Right, we have a lot there. - Yeah.
00:50 - But we do also have them in other places as well.
00:52 - Correct.
00:54 - And one of those places is where we're going today.
00:55 - Yes, the Philippines.
00:57 - Okay.
00:58 - Specifically Iloilo.
01:00 - Iloilo.
01:01 That's a place for a lot of history for us.
01:03 - Yes.
01:04 - And we have a lot of friends there.
01:05 - Yes we do.
01:06 So the Philippines is divided into three different sections
01:08 and the north part being Luzon,
01:11 the south part being Mindanao, and then the central part
01:14 being a bunch of islands all combined
01:16 into what they call the Visayan Island group.
01:19 And Iloilo is in the western most part of the Visayas.
01:24 - Okay.
01:25 The first Bible worker we're going to meet his name is Juan.
01:27 - Yes.
01:29 - And he's been a literature evangelist
01:30 or he was a literature evangelist
01:32 after he became Adventist.
01:33 - Correct. Yes.
01:35 - And he and his wife have six children.
01:37 - Huh-uh
01:38 - So a few years ago they heard about the WVCCOE.
01:42 Can you explain what that is?
01:43 It's a lot of letters.
01:45 - Yeah, it's the West Visayan Conference
01:48 Center of Evangelism or College of Evangelism.
01:51 It's just like, AFCOE. - Okay.
01:53 - They modeled it off of AFCOE,
01:55 a four month intensive Bible Worker training program
01:59 for people that are wanting
02:01 to join the Bible workforce.
02:04 - Okay.
02:05 Okay, so after he graduated then he was invited
02:08 to become a Bible Worker.
02:09 - Yeah, it was Jesus for Asia.
02:10 - Okay. - Yeah.
02:12 - Okay, and Juan recently had some medical issues.
02:15 - Yes, and we have a video about that,
02:17 that talks about what happened to Juan.
02:20 An event that would normally really slow a person down.
02:24 And it's a life altering event,
02:27 a medical event that we'll show in this video.
02:31 - [Natalie] Okay.
02:32 (woman speaking in foreign language)
02:35 - [Translator] During his operation,
02:37 I saw the doctor come out from the operating room,
02:39 with my husband's amputated arm wrapped in plastic.
02:44 (somber music)
02:53 (man speaking in foreign language)
02:54 - [Translator] I made up my mind and told myself
02:56 that I just have to accept this
02:57 and that I can't do anything about it anymore.
03:00 (somber music continues)
03:04 (speaking in foreign language)
03:08 I became a full-time canvasser in 1986.
03:11 By the grace of God, it supported our family's daily needs.
03:16 I ventured into other businesses,
03:18 but then ended up coming back to canvasing work.
03:20 (speaking in foreign language)
03:22 After a year of canvassing, I became a JFA Bible worker.
03:27 (woman speaking in foreign language)
03:28 - [Translator] He enrolled in WVCCOE
03:31 and thankfully he was able to graduate
03:33 since it was his ultimate dream to become a Bible worker.
03:38 (man speaking in foreign language)
03:41 - [Translator] I started to feel pain in my right arm.
03:44 The x-ray revealed that in my right elbow,
03:47 there was a lump the size of an egg.
03:48 (man speaking in foreign language)
03:52 I went to see three doctors for their opinions.
03:55 Our very own Adventist doctor, Dr. Romero
03:58 even advised me to cut off my arm
04:00 to prevent the spread of infection.
04:02 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
04:04 (Norma speaking in foreign language)
04:05 - [Translator] We went to see many doctors
04:07 and they all had the same advice to cut off the arm.
04:10 If it's necessary to cut it off,
04:12 then whatever will be will be
04:14 as long as we are doing the work of the Lord.
04:18 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
04:20 - [Translator] June 22 was when my arm was amputated.
04:23 So this is now my situation.
04:25 This truly is a big challenge for me.
04:27 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
04:36 - People were asking me if it ever crossed my mind
04:39 to ask God why this unfortunate thing was happening to me
04:42 though. I am an active worker for the Lord.
04:45 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
04:49 But I told them that it didn't cross my mind
04:52 because who are we to question God?
04:56 I was just praying to God that I'll be grateful
04:58 if he will heal me and spare me from this illness.
05:01 But if it's not his will
05:02 then I will still continue to work with him.
05:06 (Norma speaking in foreign language)
05:09 - [Translator] I did not mind if my husband's arm
05:11 was amputated as long as he can still work for him,
05:15 I will still be here to support him in doing God's work.
05:19 (speaking in foreign language)
05:23 (laughing loudly)
05:27 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
05:30 - [Translator] How long will I work for the Lord?
05:33 My answer is this, until Jesus comes.
05:37 It is written in my being that as long as I shall live,
05:40 I will continue to do God's work.
05:43 Also, even though my arm is not here anymore,
05:45 I still have my mouth to speak for him.
05:48 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
05:57 Honestly, I sometimes feel ashamed to receive my stipend
06:02 especially when I was confined in the hospital.
06:05 And so I continued to work through media
06:07 using my cell phone.
06:09 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
06:13 I would often send Bible verses
06:14 to our group chats in Messenger.
06:16 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
06:19 But one thing that I was more focused to work on
06:22 was with my doctor, Dr. Yang.
06:24 He was the one who amputated my right arm.
06:27 We finished covering all our doctrines
06:29 and our Bible studies.
06:31 I even bought and gave him a morning commentary.
06:33 I then would ask him
06:35 if he was reading the morning commentary I gave him.
06:37 He would just gladly answer me, "Yes, I am reading it."
06:41 I also gave him the book, "The Desire of Ages."
06:45 (soft music)
06:54 (speaking in foreign language)
06:56 When I gave out those books,
06:58 it gave me great joy to see them happy.
07:01 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
07:07 I'm planning to put a sidecar on my motorbike,
07:09 even though it's an old one.
07:12 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
07:16 The challenge for me right now is,
07:18 I can no longer ride a motorbike.
07:20 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
07:25 But I am looking for the ways and means
07:26 to attach a sidecar to my motorbike,
07:30 to make it easier for me to travel and do my work.
07:32 (soft music)
07:38 - Ain't that inspiring?
07:39 - I love how he said it is written in my being
07:42 to work for God. - Yes.
07:43 That's amazing every time he thought about,
07:46 I mean his situation, he didn't think this to blame God.
07:50 He just says, Lord, I just wanna work for you
07:53 no matter what happens to me, I just wanna work for you.
07:56 And he's giving Bible studies to the doctors
07:59 and tracks and literature to the patients.
08:01 - Yeah.
08:02 - That's like, wow, that is so inspiring, you know.
08:04 - Yeah.
08:05 Now he was talking there about not being able
08:07 to ride a motorcycle anymore and that's because of balance
08:09 and being able to hold on with both hands.
08:12 - Yeah he can't, really hold on
08:14 with both hands. - No, well can't.
08:15 And so he talked there briefly about getting a sidecar
08:20 for his motorcycle. - Correct.
08:21 - And because we had some donations come in
08:24 that we could use
08:25 for that purpose. - Right.
08:26 - We were privileged to be able to provide him
08:28 with the sidecar for his motorcycle.
08:31 - Correct.
08:32 Now these donations came into a specific fund.
08:34 - Right. - What's that called?
08:36 - Yeah, so that fund is called Bicycles for Bible Workers.
08:39 - Correct. - And it started out
08:40 for bicycles only. - Yeah.
08:41 - But since then we've had a number of donors
08:44 that have said, you know, what, if they need a motorcycle,
08:47 something for their motorcycle, whatever they need
08:50 use it for transportation
08:51 for the Bible workers. - Exactly.
08:53 - So it's still called Bicycles for Bible Workers
08:55 but we're thankful to the donors that have given us freedom
08:57 to use it for situations like this.
08:59 - Right. - And here's a little video
09:01 of him driving with his sidecar.
09:03 - [Jon] Yeah, and this is from somebody's cell phone,
09:05 so it's not super high quality,
09:06 but you know it gives us joy
09:08 to see it in real life. - Right.
09:09 - [Jon] One advantage of having a sidecar
09:11 is that he can also carry his family with him.
09:14 - [Nicole] Right.
09:15 - Or people if he needs to transport them
09:16 to a Bible study or to church or something like that,
09:20 he can fit probably in that kind of vehicle,
09:24 I would say probably up to like four or five people.
09:27 - [Nicole] Yeah.
09:28 - [Jon] This is pretty common in the Philippines,
09:30 the style of transportation.
09:31 They usually put like a roof over the top
09:34 so you can ride in the rain and he'll probably do it.
09:37 He's probably done that by now,
09:38 'cause they've had a lot of rain.
09:39 - So yeah, that's really neat,
09:40 and it helps so that he doesn't have
09:42 to balance the motorcycle.
09:43 The motorcycle is always upright.
09:45 - Yeah.
09:46 So we praise the Lord for that.
09:48 And then we just applaud their spirit
09:51 to keep serving the Lord and it keeps them going,
09:55 you know, that desire for sharing the good news with others,
10:02 it's a real reason to get up in the morning, you know
10:05 and to move forward and overcome any obstacle.
10:08 And we see this over and over again
10:09 when people like our Bible workers take hold of the work
10:13 and move forward in it, it gives them life.
10:16 It gives them a joy that we rarely see.
10:20 - Right.
10:21 So the next story we wanna talk about today
10:23 is about Ruffino.
10:25 And he and his family are from Mindanao.
10:28 - Correct.
10:29 - And they used to work down there
10:31 and he would support missionaries any way he could
10:33 but he wanted to be a missionary,
10:35 he just had three small children
10:37 and it never seemed like it would work
10:39 or it was the right time.
10:41 - Correct.
10:42 - So he was invited by a ministry to come up to Iloilo
10:45 to work on their land.
10:47 And so he did, he moved up there
10:49 and then found out about the College of Evangelism
10:53 that they have there, the WVCCOE.
10:56 - Yep.
10:57 - And so he attended that and then became a Bible worker.
11:01 - Yes and he was 60 years old when he became a Bible worker.
11:04 - Okay and so he started at 60,
11:06 and then he had a daughter named Grace
11:09 and she had kind of strayed from the faith.
11:12 - Yeah. - And she was kind of headed
11:14 out the door into a more and more worldly lifestyle.
11:18 And so he invited her to come and work with him.
11:20 - Yeah.
11:22 - And so she came. - And she did.
11:22 Yeah.
11:24 So we get to meet her in this video about Ruffino
11:27 and his daughter, Grace.
11:28 - [Nicole] Okay, here we go.
11:31 (soft music)
11:35 - [Translator] In God our retirement is when he comes back.
11:38 (speaking in foreign language)
11:42 (woman speaking in foreign language)
11:48 - [Translator] I'm happy because I'm with my father.
11:51 It's my first time to work with him
11:53 and experience a father-daughter team.
11:56 (soft music)
12:00 (man speaking in foreign language)
12:03 - [Translator] I told Gerald
12:04 to let my daughter join me in my work.
12:07 Even if there's no stipend, as long as she is with me.
12:10 So since January, until now, we continue to work together.
12:14 (gentle music)
12:18 - [Translator] They work not asking for compensation,
12:21 they work for the love of the ministry.
12:23 - For the love of the ministry.
12:25 (speaking in foreign language)
12:27 - [Translator] He saw my life in the city
12:29 and he knew that I was far from Jesus.
12:32 He said he wanted me to get Bible Worker training
12:34 because he knew that I wasn't attending church anymore.
12:37 (woman speaking in foreign language)
12:41 When he does visitation being a man,
12:44 he wanted a woman to do Bible studies with women.
12:48 - Grace, her daughter accompany him here
12:51 and worked without any stipend
12:53 because the fund is so limited.
12:57 But later, I could monitor their work.
13:01 And Grace has been working, also her father, diligently,
13:11 (speaking in foreign language)
13:13 - [Translator] I'm a very shy person.
13:16 At first, I just observed how he approached people
13:19 and how he gave the Voice of Prophecy lessons.
13:23 (speaking in foreign language)
13:28 As he trained me, I grew in learning
13:30 and in socializing with people.
13:33 I've learned not to be so shy anymore.
13:36 (speaking in foreign language)
13:40 - If God send missionaries,
13:43 meaning there is a need in this area.
13:47 I still hold on the calling of the Holy Spirit
13:54 to send people.
13:57 And I believe God will provide.
13:59 (soft music)
14:03 (man speaking in foreign language)
14:04 - [Translator] In the past
14:05 while I still had two kids at home,
14:07 I longed to work for God full time.
14:09 (speaking in foreign language)
14:11 But it seemed like the Lord didn't allow it
14:13 since I had children to provide for.
14:15 (speaking in foreign language)
14:18 But I still looked for ways to work for God.
14:22 I told Gerald that even if I can't have a salary
14:24 as long as I can eat, I will work for God.
14:27 (speaking in foreign language)
14:32 I saw that the time won't be long
14:33 and that's the reason I am doing God's work.
14:37 It is also my commitment to work for the Lord.
14:42 - [Interviewer] How old were you
14:43 when you became a full-time missionary?
14:45 - [Translator] 60 years old.
14:47 (speaking in foreign language)
14:49 And I'm turning 63 years old this August 17th, 2020.
14:53 (speaking in foreign language)
14:55 It's been three years since I started.
14:58 And this is my commitment.
15:00 I told my daughter let's finish the Lord's work
15:02 wherever he calls us.
15:04 (uplifting music)
15:14 Here in this world, most people want a retirement,
15:18 but for me when Jesus comes back, that's my retirement.
15:21 When he comes back, whether I have a stipend or not,
15:25 I will still continue to work for God.
15:28 (somber music)
15:35 - Amazing,
15:36 - Whether I have stipend or not
15:38 I will continue to work for God.
15:40 - Yeah, the second coming is my retirement.
15:42 (chuckles)
15:43 That's the right attitude.
15:45 That is just so beautiful and inspiring for us.
15:48 Those are the kinds of people we wanna see out there
15:51 working for God. - Right.
15:52 So you notice at the beginning he'd said,
15:54 "If there's no stipend, it's okay,
15:56 I want her to work with me."
15:58 That's what her father said.
15:59 - Yes. - And what an attitude.
16:01 You know, it's like the money's not the first thing for him.
16:04 - Right. - The first thing is,
16:06 is God's work going forward
16:07 and is my daughter connected into it.
16:10 - Yes.
16:11 That's really the spirit of Christ speaking in a man.
16:15 That's somebody that's tasted the joy
16:17 of doing God's work and serving Jesus.
16:20 He's really tasted that,
16:21 and he realizes that God's work is better than life.
16:25 - Right. Right.
16:27 - You notice they were just riding these little BMX bikes.
16:29 - Right.
16:31 - Now where they live and where their assignment is,
16:32 is like 20 kilometers apart.
16:35 - Right.
16:36 That's like 12 1/2 miles almost?
16:37 - Yeah, huh-uh.
16:38 Yeah. - wow.
16:40 - So again, we were able to furnish them with new bicycles
16:44 out of this Bicycles for Bible Workers fund
16:47 that our donors have generously provided for.
16:50 - Right.
16:51 - And so we have a little video
16:52 about them and their new bikes now.
16:56 (soft music)
16:57 (speaking in foreign language)
16:59 - [Translator] Those small bikes that we used before,
17:01 one was my son's, the red one that Grace rode.
17:03 And the other one that I used was my brother's.
17:06 (speaking in foreign language)
17:09 We tried riding them to the city
17:11 but Grace couldn't take it because it was too small.
17:13 (speaking in foreign language)
17:17 But now with these new bikes, it is easier to travel.
17:21 We were hoping that God would give us bikes
17:23 that we can use to hasten his work.
17:25 (speaking in foreign language)
17:27 When we were in Bilidan we would go to Iloilo
17:30 for a devotional.
17:31 (speaking in foreign language)
17:35 We used to go to Iloilo once a week.
17:38 (speaking in foreign language)
17:41 Now that we have been transferred to Jaro,
17:43 we visit Bilidan on Wednesday or Thursday.
17:47 We visit them twice or three times a week,
17:49 and these bikes are what we use to go there
17:51 to continue our missionary work in Bilidan.
17:54 (speaking in foreign language)
17:57 We still have more Bible students
17:59 and V.O.P students there that haven't finished yet,
18:02 and also the church that we are nurturing.
18:05 So we still continue our work there.
18:07 So through these bikes that have been given to us,
18:10 given by the Lord, our work is easier and faster.
18:13 We can easily go back home anytime.
18:16 These bikes are faster than the old ones.
18:19 (speaking in foreign language)
18:23 If we ride public transportation,
18:24 we would spend a lot of money that would eat up our stipend.
18:28 (speaking in foreign language)
18:33 It costs about $5 for us round trip on a Jeepney.
18:37 (speaking in foreign language)
18:40 So if we travel three times a week, it would cost us $15.
18:43 (speaking in foreign language)
18:48 But with these bikes, we save a lot.
18:51 (speaking in foreign language)
18:53 And they really help us a lot with our work here.
18:55 (speaking in foreign language)
19:00 I'm really thankful for the sponsors.
19:03 (speaking in foreign language)
19:04 These bikes will give us big opportunities for work for him.
19:09 I hope that these bikes will still be in use
19:11 when Jesus comes.
19:12 (speaking in foreign language)
19:15 (gentle music)
19:22 - These bicycles they use them, you know, every single week.
19:26 Two or three times, they make major trips.
19:29 - Okay, so we're excited about that.
19:31 We're so excited that we could give them bicycles
19:33 and enable them to not only save money
19:36 but also to be more efficient
19:37 and to be able to travel wherever they need to go
19:40 without flagging down
19:41 or trying to find the right transportation
19:43 from place to place.
19:44 - Right.
19:45 - So it's such a blessing.
19:46 - Yep.
19:47 Now in this next video that we have,
19:49 we have both Juan and Ruffino sharing their burden
19:53 for the church that they have been working at.
19:55 - Yes.
19:57 So they're wanting to revive this church
19:58 because there's a few existing, possibly former SDA members,
20:03 and they're wanting to revive this church
20:04 and make it happen.
20:06 And we love church revivals. - Right.
20:07 - We just love seeing that happen
20:09 because, you know, why let a good thing die
20:12 just from neglect. - Right. Right.
20:14 - That just doesn't need to happen.
20:16 So here's the video talking about this church.
20:19 - [Nicole] Okay.
20:21 (speaking in foreign language)
20:24 - [Translator] When we first saw the church,
20:25 it was like a jungle.
20:27 It was surrounded by tall grass and trees.
20:29 I couldn't explain what I was feeling.
20:33 The church hadn't been used for years.
20:35 (speaking in foreign language)
20:41 - we have a church here long ago,
20:44 but then most of the pastors getting a hard time
20:49 to penetrate this area.
20:51 For them, this is a hopeless area.
20:54 Many pastors and laymans has passed in this area,
21:00 but they said this is a hopeless area.
21:05 (speaking in foreign language)
21:06 - [Translator] No one has gone to this church
21:08 for a long time.
21:10 They've been doing worship in their own houses.
21:13 Some of the members were old and disabled,
21:15 so this church has been neglected.
21:17 (speaking in foreign language)
21:20 We didn't even know there was a church there.
21:23 So we would worship at the home where we were staying.
21:28 Sometimes there were just five of us worshiping together.
21:32 So what I did, I would invite my family
21:35 and have my twins sing
21:36 so that we felt like there were a lot of people.
21:38 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
21:45 But then we found out that there's a church here.
21:47 When we first saw the church it was like a jungle,
21:50 it was surrounded by tall grass and trees.
21:52 I couldn't explain what I was feeling.
21:54 The church hadn't been used for years.
21:58 (Juan speaking in foreign language)
22:03 This side of the wall is rotten.
22:05 We just replaced the roof with GI sheets
22:07 so it will look better.
22:08 These windows are rotten too.
22:13 These are all rotten.
22:16 It has holes already because it's rotten from here to there.
22:20 And the ceiling needs to be replaced.
22:24 (speaking in foreign language)
22:27 People are laughing at us when they look at our church.
22:31 Some didn't have hope for a church revival
22:33 because many of the members are not here anymore.
22:36 Some members moved to other islands
22:38 and others have backslidden
22:39 (speaking in foreign language)
22:43 Maybe they were embarrassed
22:44 about what this church looks like.
22:47 So, what we did here
22:49 was that we continued giving Bible studies.
22:53 (speaking in foreign language)
22:57 Juan and I repaired the broken parts.
22:59 We just looked for ways to repair it.
23:02 (speaking in foreign language)
23:05 - [Translator] We cut all the tall trees around it.
23:08 We cleared all the tall grass.
23:11 (speaking in foreign language)
23:12 And then the church looked better.
23:15 We then invited people to worship with us.
23:18 As local members started to regularly attend,
23:21 we invited other people to worship with us also.
23:24 Some young people joined us
23:26 until many people began coming.
23:28 (speaking in foreign language)
23:30 (soft music)
23:36 (speaking in foreign language)
23:40 - [Translator] A lot of us worship here.
23:42 There are many from other churches also.
23:44 We started with only five people
23:46 but now we have reached 17, 19 or 20,
23:50 so I praise the Lord.
23:51 The JFA Bible workers have revived us.
23:54 If you don't have friends to worship with, you will be sad,
23:57 but when you have friends, it's fun.
24:01 (man speaking in foreign language)
24:04 - [Translator] People here are prejudice.
24:07 One reason is that they are well off
24:09 and they have no interest in the Bible.
24:11 They have been busy with drinking and smoking,
24:13 but God gave me an idea and that is to give out VOP lessons
24:17 going from house to house to house.
24:19 (speaking in foreign language)
24:22 So I hand out VOP pamphlets,
24:24 and even if they don't fill out the answers,
24:26 I can still go back to them.
24:28 In that way, we can build a relationship with the people.
24:33 After a while some people accepted the message.
24:36 (speaking in foreign language)
24:37 We are gradually reaching the people
24:39 at the same time that we are repairing this church.
24:42 (speaking in foreign language)
24:44 (woman speaking in foreign language)
24:47 - [Translator] I want our church, though small
24:49 to be a strong building.
24:50 (speaking in foreign language)
24:52 And I want it to be attractive, a pleasing house of worship.
24:56 That's what I really want.
24:58 That they might see what the children of God are.
25:00 (woman speaking in foreign language)
25:03 (man speaking in foreign language)
25:06 - [Translator] I've been asking the Lord to send someone
25:08 to help us renovate this church
25:10 so that it will look better and be more productive.
25:14 If you look at it now, it doesn't really look good.
25:17 (man speaking in foreign language)
25:19 But I know it's up to God.
25:21 It's up to him whom will he use to help out.
25:24 (man speaking in foreign language)
25:27 If this is what the church looks like until he comes,
25:29 we can't do anything because that's his will,
25:32 but we are praying that someone is going to help.
25:35 (man speaking in foreign language)
25:38 (woman speaking in foreign language)
25:40 - [Translator] Though there's no help yet,
25:42 I'm gratefully thankful,
25:44 hoping that that would really happen.
25:46 (woman speaking in foreign language)
25:51 It has been our hope and dream
25:52 that our church will be renovated.
25:54 (woman speaking in foreign language)
25:57 Of course we are the light of the world.
26:00 And we are also to show that we are presentable
26:02 so that they may know who Adventists are.
26:05 (man speaking in foreign language)
26:09 - [Translator] I believe this church will prosper.
26:12 I believe many people will come to worship here.
26:14 (speaking in foreign language)
26:18 According to two recently baptized people
26:20 who told me that one of them had had a dream
26:22 in which he saw this church full of people.
26:25 There was no more room for people to sit in it.
26:28 That was what he saw in his dream.
26:30 I said, "Praise God, if that would really happen."
26:33 (speaking in foreign language)
26:35 I really believe that it will really happen.
26:39 The time will come when this church will be full of people.
26:44 But as for now, the people are seeing the old building.
26:47 (man speaking in foreign language)
26:51 But nothing is impossible with God.
26:55 - It's so neat to see on the other side of the world
26:58 people passionate for God and for his church.
27:01 - Yeah.
27:02 Just the joy on that church member that lady.
27:04 - Yeah. - That was crying,
27:06 and you know, this is a dream to see this renovated.
27:08 It's like, wow, her heart is really in the gospel
27:11 and what a joy it's gonna be to see her,
27:14 you know, if we are able to renovate this church
27:17 and to meet her in heaven and you know,
27:20 to see her come up to us and say, "Hey, you helped us."
27:24 - Yeah.
27:26 - You helped us renovate that church,
27:27 and because of that, we were able to attract more people
27:28 to the gospel and here they are.
27:30 - Right.
27:32 - Well, I've been inspired
27:33 by these stories today. - Oh, yes.
27:35 - And I'm looking forward to hearing more
27:36 in upcoming episodes.
27:38 - Absolutely.
27:39 - I would like to invite you to pray for these workers.
27:42 They obviously have all sorts of challenges.
27:44 And if you would like to help their work to go forward
