00:21 - Hello and welcome to The Jesus for Asia Now Show. 00:23 Today, we are going to be interviewing some people 00:26 that are actually going out as missionaries. 00:29 And this is just to be clear, 00:32 this is during the COVID season. 00:34 And as you know, for the last year 00:37 we've been in lockdowns, varying degrees of lockdowns. 00:41 And for the first time in my life, 00:45 we have not been able to send missionaries overseas. 00:49 And that's what we're here today about 00:51 is that there are a couple, well, a family, 00:55 an entire family that is willing to go 00:58 during this time of pestilence 01:00 and it costs more and we're gonna find out what 01:03 it's actually gonna take for them to go 01:05 but I'm just so excited about them going, because you know, 01:09 there are souls out there that are still hungering 01:13 and thirsting for the light of the Gospel. 01:16 They're hungering and thirsting for eternal life. 01:19 And to support somebody to go, 01:23 to be able to bring and export this truth that we know 01:26 and love and value, and almost take for granted everyday 01:30 to people that are dying in darkness. 01:34 And that sounds like a cliche but it's not, it's really not. 01:37 People are literally dying without the hope of eternal life. 01:44 And so I'd like to introduce to you my good friends 01:45 brother Lloyd and Natalie, sister Natalie Howell. 01:49 And you guys have, where are you going? 01:53 - Oh, we're headed to Cambodia. 01:54 - Okay. And you've been there already, right? 01:56 - Yeah. We spent five months back in 2020. 01:58 - Okay. So you were there, you went there in January 02:01 and you came back in like May? 02:03 - June. - June. 02:05 Okay so you came back in June 02:06 and you were planning to go back in 2020? 02:09 - Yes. We're planning to go back later on that year 02:13 but COVID has put a stopper in that. 02:17 And we're still here. (all laughing) 02:19 - For awhile that you couldn't even go into the country. 02:21 - Yeah, they locked down a lot of the Asian countries, 02:25 Cambodia being one of them, Thailand and many others. 02:28 Yeah. We just couldn't get in at all. 02:30 And now there's strict stipulations in getting in. 02:34 It's not as easy as it was before. 02:35 Okay. All right. So what do you have to actually go through? 02:39 What do you have to do to get into the country? 02:43 - So in Cambodia, they put on a mandatory quarantine 02:45 that everybody has to go through for two weeks, 02:48 when you fly in, you'll have to take a COVID test 02:51 when you get there. - Okay. 02:52 - You have to take a COVID test before you get on the plane. 02:55 And after the two weeks, you have to take a COVID test. 02:59 And if anybody on your plane has COVID, 03:02 then you have to do another quarantine. 03:04 Everybody's gonna have to go through that second quarantine. 03:07 So they're requiring that you come with $2,000 cash, 03:11 each individual, to cover your quarantine time 03:15 while you're there. 03:16 So for a family of four that's yeah. 03:18 That's not easy. 03:19 - Yeah. So then do you choose... 03:22 What's quarantine look like, I mean is it in a hospital? 03:24 - So when you go into quarantine, when you get there, 03:27 there's gonna be several different banks there 03:30 to take your money. 03:31 And then they put you on a bus 03:34 and take you to a hotel somewhere. 03:35 - [Jon] They assign you a hotel. 03:36 - They assign you a hotel. 03:38 Food is delivered to the doors, 03:40 you're not allowed outside of your room 03:41 for the whole two weeks. 03:43 - You can't leave your room? 03:44 - You cannot leave your room. 03:45 - [Jon] For two weeks. 03:46 - For two weeks. 03:48 - Well that's one way to get over jet lag. 03:50 (all laughing) 03:51 - No, it's a challenge. 03:52 - Why are you going back then? 03:54 What is the reason you're going back at this time? 03:57 - Well, there's so much to be done. 04:00 As you said earlier, this is a country 04:02 that does not have many Christians at all in the country. 04:05 - [Jon] Okay. How many? - Less than 0.1% 04:09 or 0.01% are Christians much less Adventists. 04:15 And they don't know who Jesus is. 04:17 They don't know who Christ is. 04:20 They've never heard of the Gospel or God. 04:23 And they need to know. 04:24 It says the gospel must be preached to all the world 04:27 before the end will come. 04:28 So we have a job to do. 04:30 - Absolutely. 04:31 - And there we have... 04:34 We're building a school out there currently. 04:36 And we have some young people that are in college 04:40 studying to be teachers for the school. 04:42 And some of them grew up in the church 04:45 and some of them came into the church. 04:48 But even their understanding of the Gospel is nil, 04:51 is little. - Wow. 04:53 - And there's a lot, they have to learn 04:55 and if we want them to teach at the school, 04:58 they need a better understanding of salvation, 05:02 of the love of Christ, of... 05:04 - [Jon] The Bible. - The Bible period. 05:06 And so we need to work with them. 05:08 We need to go back and work with them. 05:11 We want to teach in their language at this school. 05:15 So we're going to back also for language study. 05:18 We need to learn the language to be able to work 05:21 in their language and help them and work with them better. 05:24 - Right. So you're talking about a school 05:26 is this a elementary school 05:28 or what kind of school are you talking about? 05:30 'Cause I know that's kinda special. 05:32 - Okay. So we're building a high school. 05:38 But it started from seventh grade through 12th. 05:40 - Okay. 05:41 - One of the problems is we have 05:42 Adventist Elementary School there 05:43 but not as many Adventist High Schools 05:47 and the ones that we do have teach in English. 05:50 And so a lot of the students don't know English. 05:52 So they ended up having to choose between Adventism 05:56 or school. 05:57 - Education. Wow. 05:59 - Right. 06:00 So many of them go back to school and they'll 06:02 go to school on Sabbath and leave the church. 06:05 So we want to give them an opportunity to be taught 06:08 in their language, without having to worry about Sabbaths 06:12 and be able to have their Sabbaths off 06:13 and spend the time with God that they need 06:14 and worship the way we know that the Bible says we should. 06:18 - Right. One unique characteristic of your school is 06:21 that it's gonna be a boarding academy. 06:23 So it's not just a daily education, but it's, 06:26 you can design an entire Christian environment, a lifestyle. 06:31 Yeah. That's really exciting because it's that 06:34 daily interaction and daily, you know, worships, 06:38 morning and evening worships and all those kinds of things 06:41 that are really gonna make an impact in their lives. 06:43 Yeah. Now, today is Friday. 06:46 What day do you leave to go? 06:49 - We leave March 30th, next Tuesday. 06:53 So four days. 06:54 - Four days from now you're leaving? 06:57 - Yes. 06:58 - How is your stress level? 06:59 - What is that? 07:03 - Yeah, it's really high because 07:06 one, we're trying to get our house ready 07:09 to be rented out. 07:10 Two our kids went to Mexico on a mission trip 07:13 and they're coming back today 07:15 so we can do our COVID test on Sunday. 07:18 - You're leaving Tuesday 07:19 and your kids are in Mexico right now? 07:21 - Correct. Building churches. 07:23 They built six churches. 07:25 In 10 days. 07:26 - Wow. 07:27 - And half the workers weren't there. 07:29 And they are so excited. 07:32 - Really? 07:34 - They're so on fire, they were like, we have to go back. 07:36 I've never seen or heard them so excited before. 07:39 - Amazing. 07:40 - Amazing, the transformation. 07:42 10 days ago, we were supposed to leave for Cambodia. 07:46 And I just felt this like overwhelming burden to 07:49 change the ticket. 07:50 To make it to two weeks later. 07:53 And so I went ahead and I did that. 07:56 And the day after I changed the ticket somebody proposed, 08:03 hey, why don't the girls go to Mexico, 08:05 on this Mexico mission trip? 08:07 And I was like, oh, I don't think so. You know? 08:11 And they were like, why not? 08:12 So it's like, well, 08:13 we don't have the finances for them to go 08:15 and you know, like if you remove money can they go. 08:19 I'm like, man, that's cutting it close 08:20 'cause the trip ends two days before we leave. 08:25 And so that was kinda like, and God gave me a promise. 08:31 It was in the middle of the night 08:33 after the ticket was bought. 08:36 And I'm like, should I cancel the tickets? 08:38 Should I not cancel the ticket? 08:39 - Which ticket? 08:40 - The ticket for them to go to Mexico. 08:42 Sorry, let me back up a second. 08:43 So the ticket was purchased that same day. 08:45 - For them to go to Mexico. 08:46 - A group of them to go to Mexico. 08:49 - Not by us. 08:50 - Not by us. 08:51 Yes. So the ticket was purchased by someone else 08:54 for them to go to Mexico. 08:56 And you know, you have that 24 hour to cancel the ticket. 09:00 And so I'm going through, should I, should I 09:02 should I not, should I? 09:03 And then all of a sudden in the middle of the night, 09:06 like, three o'clock in the morning, the promise came, 09:09 trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on 09:13 thine own understanding. 09:14 In all thy ways acknowledge Him 09:18 and he shall direct thy path. 09:20 - Right. 09:21 - And I was like, okay. 09:22 I'm gonna hold onto this. 09:24 I'm going to trust you because it's not making sense. 09:27 I can't tell my family, "I'm sending my kids to Mexico." 09:31 I can't say anything to anyone. 09:33 So God, I'm going to trust you 09:35 because it's not making sense. 09:37 But I know that, you know, as teenagers 09:41 they're giving up a lot to go over there with us. 09:45 And so, you know, my oldest came and she was like, 09:48 "mom, can I please go?" 09:49 They asked to go. 09:50 And I was like, yes, we'll go. 09:53 And God opened up the door. 09:54 Not only did he pay for their ticket, 09:56 He paid for their COVID test. 09:58 He paid for the deposit that they need. 10:00 He just opened up all the doors. 10:03 It was literally one miracle after another, for them to go. 10:07 And while they were there, you know, I talked to them, 10:11 they're actually coming back today. 10:14 And while they were there, you know, 10:16 my daughter said, you know, mom, "I've learned what fun is. 10:20 You know, I used to think fun is when you hang out 10:22 with your friends and you doing this, 10:24 but fun is really when you're working for God 10:27 and you're seeing the results of your labor." 10:31 And I was like, okay, trust in the Lord 10:35 with all thine heart and lean not 10:38 on thine own understanding. 10:40 In all thy ways, acknowledge Him. 10:43 And he shall direct thy path. 10:47 I understand that text. 10:49 It wasn't for me, they went to Mexico. 10:53 They went to Mexico for them. 10:55 You know, even my youngest, she was telling my friend 10:59 she was like, "you know, I asked God to wake me up 11:02 for worship, to spend time with Him. 11:04 And he's been waking me up at four o'clock 11:06 but I go to bed so late and I don't wanna 11:09 tell him to not wake me up." 11:12 You know, but she gets up faithfully. 11:15 And this is because she went down there. 11:18 They're like, they're so on fire in the 10 days 11:21 that they've been gone. 11:22 It's just so amazing. 11:25 Then I really understood why He wanted me to 11:28 change the tickets 'cause they would've missed this. 11:32 'Cause the same day we were going to Cambodia, 11:34 was the same day they were leaving for Mexico mission. 11:37 - Wow. Oh, I see. 11:40 The original date. 11:43 - God is so amazing. 11:44 - Yeah. And you've been able to do more work on your house. 11:47 - Yes. 11:51 - So now I got to know you guys a little bit more 11:55 since the last time we interviewed 11:56 and you have a very interesting life story. 12:00 And I'm gonna share that a little bit because 12:03 I know you guys are shy, but you were originally on a track 12:07 for a very good salary. 12:10 Very good, comfortable life here in America. 12:13 You had put her through college and you'd gotten 12:18 a really good paying job and was gonna put him 12:21 through college. 12:22 And he was gonna get a really good paying job. 12:24 And you guys are gonna be quite wealthy 12:27 but you heard a call for your kids 12:31 from the Holy Spirit saying, "you're gonna lose your kids 12:35 if you continue this way." 12:36 And so you gave that up and moved out into the country. 12:40 I'm simplifying. 12:42 Moved out into the country and built this small house 12:47 with your own four hands, well, eight hands, 12:49 including your daughters. 12:52 And you've been following God's path 12:54 instead of going the path of the world. 12:58 Is that correct? Have I summarized it? 13:00 - Yes. - In a nutshell. 13:03 - But even moving to the country 13:05 was not as far as God wanted you to go. 13:08 - Correct. 13:10 - And it was at a faith camp a couple of years ago... 13:12 - 2018. 13:13 - That you heard God saying, 13:16 "you need to go to the mission field 13:18 for the sake of your children." 13:20 Yeah. And so this is the path that God's chosen for you 13:24 but... 13:27 why don't, I mean, like, what was it 13:30 I mean, like, you have already made many sacrifices 13:33 to get to the point where you can make this sacrifice. 13:38 Do you regret any of those sacrifices? 13:41 - Absolutely not. 13:44 If I had a regret was not moving as the Spirit 13:47 prompted me to. 13:49 - Really? 13:50 - As quickly still, you know, the, the Holy Spirit prompts 13:53 and I dragged my foot, you know what I mean? 13:56 That's sort of human nature. 13:58 Our human nature is to like, well maybe 14:01 and you keep procrastinating or in my case running 14:05 until you realize you can't outrun God. 14:08 - [Jon] Wow. 14:10 And He just stopped you in the track and, you know, 14:12 He'll do whatever it takes to get your attention. 14:15 And He used the children a second time 14:17 to get my attention. 14:19 - So, now that you are getting ready to launch again, 14:22 you are launching, not just getting ready 14:24 but you are launching. 14:26 - Correct. 14:27 - You just sense God's peace? 14:29 - Absolutely. Absolutely. 14:31 - And you sense His presence as He confirmed 14:34 your calling in any specific, you know, like, 14:36 tangible ways that you can look back and say, 14:39 "we know God is doing this." 14:40 - Well. There's a lot of, 14:42 I would say little things, but there's some big things too, 14:45 you know, the Lord has done so much for us, you know? 14:50 I think what we have to realize is 14:53 when you decide to follow God, it doesn't always make sense. 14:57 - Yes (laughing) 14:59 - You know when reading in Patriarchs and Prophets, 15:02 Abraham, he couldn't explain why he was leaving 15:05 to his relatives and friends back in Ur, you know, 15:10 they just wouldn't understand. 15:11 - Yeah. 15:13 - He couldn't explain to his wife why he had to 15:14 take Isaac to go sacrifice with no, we don't know what 15:17 God has planned. 15:18 - You haven't got that call yet though? 15:19 - No, praise the Lord. (all laughing) 15:24 - You know, there's a book called 'The Insanity of God.' 15:30 You know, a lot of times what we would think is insane. 15:32 We don't think... It doesn't make sense. 15:33 It's why would you do that? 15:35 Your family might be against you, you know, 15:39 your friends, even the ones you thought would be supportive. 15:42 All of a sudden change. 15:45 And you're like, and then you start second guessing 15:46 sometimes, you're like, 15:48 "Lord is this really what you want me to do?" 15:50 And then he just shows up in ways you can't explain. 15:52 And He does something miraculous then saying, 15:55 "yeah this is what he wants me to do." (laughing) 15:58 - But you gotta be aware. 15:59 You gotta be looking for that. For that kind of thing. 16:02 I mean, it can happen and you don't notice 16:04 but you have to, like, 16:06 be watching to see what God does. 16:08 - Yeah. And you know, what He does is in the midst 16:10 of the storm, He gives you peace. 16:12 So with the confusion and everything going on around, 16:16 He gives you peace, you know, 16:17 'cause going back to Cambodia, for us was, you know, 16:21 I was stressed, you know when I think of the task ahead. 16:26 And I remember I said, 16:29 "I am not doing anything to raise any money. 16:33 I don't have the energy. 16:35 I don't have the, to put anything into raising funds." 16:39 And when I took the time to calculate 16:44 and see how much we need, I was like, 16:45 "God this is in your hands." 16:47 Because I'm not doing it. 16:48 - That's impossible. 16:49 - Yeah. And yeah. 16:52 And in less than two months all the funds came in 16:56 and I did absolutely nothing. It was all God. 16:59 - You prayed? 17:01 - Yes, I prayed and I was like, this is you and yup. 17:04 - That was what you needed to do. 17:06 - Absolutely. 17:07 - Yeah. And God took over. 17:08 - Yeah. And I think, you know, and not I think 17:09 but I know that God allows these things to happen 17:13 to show you can't take any credit 17:15 and say, "oh yeah, I raised this much money to go back." 17:18 No, this is, He raised the money 17:20 for us to finish the work for Him. 17:22 - Praise the Lord. 17:24 - Yeah and something else that's so amazing about the Lord, 17:26 you know, He always throws these little tests in there, 17:29 you know so? 17:31 So, yes we raised the money to go back. 17:33 So we're like, okay, Lord, you did this. 17:34 Okay. So we know we're going back, you know? 17:37 And like you said, we built our house with our hands. 17:39 It wasn't finished. 17:40 Well, the Lord helped us get some money together 17:43 to get it finished. 17:44 And now the house looks a whole lot better 17:46 than it did before and we're like, man, you know, 17:48 the Lord let us finish our house. 17:51 Doesn't He want us to stay here and live in for awhile? 17:54 You know? 17:55 And there's, like, all these little things going on 17:57 and we're like. 17:58 - It's a little harder to leave. 17:59 - Yeah and people and it'd make it harder to leave. 18:01 It would seemingly make it harder to leave. 18:03 But then when you realize it wasn't this without God 18:07 then we need to be working for Him. 18:09 He's the one that's blessing us. 18:11 So we need to work for Him and do whatever He asks us to do. 18:14 - So the blessings that we receive can be kind of like, 18:17 a covenant? 18:19 You're entering into this covenant, it's like, 18:20 Lord you did this for us. 18:22 Then, you know, I give you the praise 18:26 and I give you access to our lives to do your will knowing 18:30 that if He's done this once he can do it again. 18:33 - Exactly. 18:34 - Yeah. I felt like it was a test. 18:35 Like, you know, 18:36 I'm gonna provide you the funds to go back 18:38 and then as a bonus, I'm gonna do this. 18:40 Are you still gonna be committed to doing the original? 18:43 You know, and so for me, that's what I had to think about. 18:46 Well, he provided this first and you know, 18:49 the kids are now like, 18:50 "all this is done and all this is done." 18:53 - You've been dreaming about those things? 18:55 - Absolutely. Absolutely. You know, 18:57 And the one thing that I find, 19:02 that I keep going back to was He gave up everything for me. 19:08 So this is nothing really at the end of the day. 19:09 And you know two years ago 19:11 when we were at Faith Camp, Jim was there 19:14 and he kept saying, "we're not giving up, we're upgrading." 19:20 And so I don't know what I'm upgrading to 19:21 but that's where, you know, I just trust that, 19:24 whatever it is that I'm giving up, 19:26 He has something better in store for me. 19:28 And if not on this earth, in the earth to come, 19:31 definitely will be a upgrade and so, 19:35 yeah, it's hard. But at the end of the day, 19:38 He gave up so much for me without thinking twice. 19:43 - Right. Exactly. 19:44 - And that's it. 19:45 - Yeah. I praise God, you know, because 19:47 He went to the cross for us, but He's not living there. 19:51 - Correct. Amen. 19:52 - He's not still there. 19:53 He's in heaven. 19:56 And so we might go through difficulties 19:58 but this life is so short, especially compared 20:01 to the billions of years we're gonna live in heaven. 20:04 So man, the investment that we can make in this life 20:08 towards that life, that's very smart. 20:11 That's good. 20:12 So it's good future planning, you know? 20:16 - So I have another question though, 20:17 and I'm sure our viewers are asking the same question. 20:20 Isn't it dangerous to travel during this time of pestilence? 20:26 - When you say dangerous, what do you mean? 20:27 - Well, like, you could get sick. 20:29 - Isn't it always dangerous to travel? 20:31 (all laughing) 20:34 - You know, I mean, for us, like, when we travel, 20:36 we have to wear a mask the entire time. 20:39 So we have 35 hour trip. 20:42 - Wow. And you enjoy flying, right? 20:44 - I detest flying. 20:47 I don't like flying. 20:49 And one of my daughters do not like flying either 20:52 but anyway, you know. 20:53 - See, I love flying. I get on the plane, 20:55 somebody else is driving, you know. 20:57 - No, that's too much faith and trust in somebody 20:59 like, no. I like to be on the road 21:01 but the longest leg of the journey is, like, 21:04 17 hours and 50 minutes. 21:06 - In a plane. 21:07 17 hours and 15? 21:08 - Five zero. 21:09 - So, 18 hour flight? - Yes. 21:11 - And that's, you know, 21:13 and the entire time we have to have our mask on. 21:15 The only time you're allowed to take it off is to eat. 21:18 - So eat for 18 hours. 21:20 (all laughing) 21:21 You know, like you were talking about, 21:23 so, once we get to the airport, 21:26 you're literally shuttled into a bus. 21:29 So there is no interacting or meeting with anyone, 21:33 once you arrive. 21:35 And so, yeah. 21:36 - So that's gonna be tough. 21:37 - Yes. 21:38 So, but you're still doing it? 21:40 - Absolutely. 21:41 - So how do you handle that? 21:43 - When God calls you... 21:45 You know like, he was saying earlier, it doesn't make sense. 21:49 Noah preaching for 120 years did not make sense. 21:53 Building a ark did not make sense 21:55 when you've never seen rain. 21:57 You know, so traveling to somewhere during the pandemic, 22:00 it does not make sense. 22:02 But God is in control and I have to trust Him, 22:05 even though it makes no sense to me or to those around. 22:09 - [Jon] Amen. - You know? 22:10 And so, you know, this whole journey for us, 22:14 a lot of stuff we've done does not make sense. 22:19 But we just have to trust God 'cause He holds the future. 22:24 - [Jon] Amen. 22:25 - And so that's how we're going forward. 22:27 You know, it didn't make sense for Him to come 22:29 to this earth to die for me. 22:31 But he did it anyway. 22:33 - He came in during a time where there was no vaccine. 22:38 - Yeah. 22:38 - [Jon] I don't know. 22:40 - You know, so there was a pandemic then too. 22:44 And it still is today, which is sin. 22:48 - He didn't catch it. 22:51 - But it cost Him His life. 22:52 - It cost him his life. 22:53 And so it's that message we need to share. 22:58 - Understanding that we could be in the same situation, 23:01 which could cost you your life. 23:03 You know, God came down. 23:05 He didn't catch sin, but it did cost Him His life. 23:07 We're going there to do God's work 23:09 and He's the physician, He can quick fix anything. 23:12 Why are we worried about sickness or whatever? 23:15 And if he allows us to catch the sickness, 23:17 there's a reason for it. 23:19 You know, my mentality or the way I look at things is like, 23:22 if God gives me COVID for instance 23:25 and I end up in a hospital, 23:26 there's somebody in the hospital that needs to be reached 23:28 and I couldn't reach them unless I was in the hospital. 23:30 So, the Lord put me there for a reason. 23:32 - Praise the Lord. 23:33 - So, no matter what happens, 23:34 if I end up in prison for preaching, 23:36 prisoners need to know who Christ is too. 23:38 So it's like, He's in charge, wherever He puts me, 23:41 He puts me for a reason. 23:42 No, it's not gonna be easy. 23:44 Yes. We were gonna second guess. 23:46 I have a family to think about and all these things, 23:48 I understand that. 23:50 But if he can leave heaven, a perfect place, 23:53 to come to this sinful world, this sad, dark, sinful world 23:59 for me. What am I not willing to do for Him? 24:05 I should be willing to do whatever. 24:06 - [Jon] Yeah. Yeah. Because I mean, 24:08 if we live is Christ and if we die... 24:12 - Is to gain. 24:13 - Amen. And I was gonna say that Psalm 91. 24:19 That's the promise, you know? 24:20 And when you read Great Controversy, he says 24:22 that's the promise that will get through us... 24:24 Get us through in the end. 24:26 And so, you know, it was like the angels will bear you up. 24:30 If you dash your foot against a stone. 24:32 He's gonna cover you with his wings. 24:35 You know, I mean, what better place to be? 24:37 - Yeah. So how can we pray for you guys? 24:40 What is your biggest prayer request? 24:43 - Biggest prayer request? 24:44 That's a good question. 24:47 - That God will give us the brain cells that we need 24:50 to learn the language. 24:52 Not just, like, to not just get by, 24:54 but to really understand, 24:56 it's nothing remotely close to English. 24:58 - [Jon] Gift of tongues? 24:59 - Yes. 25:01 That's my biggest prayer request at this time, 25:03 that we will be able to learn the language 25:07 and understand it 'cause you know, 25:08 the first Angel's message is to every nation, 25:12 kindred, tongue and people. 25:14 And you know, you can tell people about Jesus 25:18 but once you're able to tell them in their language 25:20 how much sweeter it is. 25:22 - Yes. 25:23 - You know, so that's what we decided to do. 25:25 - Praise the Lord. 25:27 And our language is important. 25:30 We need prayer for that, prayer for our children. 25:36 It's gonna be difficult for them, 25:38 though they want to serve the Lord. 25:39 They wanna be there. 25:40 They're gonna work at an orphanage for a while. 25:44 They're gonna be doing school online over there. 25:46 You know, homeschooling for the younger one. 25:50 They just need comfort and strength as we go through this. 25:56 Financially, we haven't 26:02 gotten pledges to save for our monthly income. 26:07 So just, I know the Lord will provide, but it's not 26:10 and we're going on faith so. 26:11 - Amen. Amen. 26:12 - Keep us in prayer for those things. 26:14 - And what about the project itself? 26:15 How's the building. 26:17 Cause we have that. 26:18 We purchased the land, but it's empty. 26:21 We're planning to build this thing from scratch. 26:23 So how's the building? 26:25 - Okay. So, COVID has put a damper in a lot of things. 26:30 We do currently have a builder ready to start work 26:34 but COVID is keeping him out of that city right now. 26:37 So pray that the borders open up from city to city. 26:42 That he can go over there and we can get that project going. 26:45 - Amen. And of course the students 26:47 that are getting trained to be the teachers. 26:50 - Yes always be praying for them. 26:52 So much to be prayed for. 26:54 - Absolutely. Well, thankfully God's bigger. 26:56 - Absolutely. 26:57 - Yeah. Awesome. 26:59 Well, I appreciate you guys being on. 27:01 I know that you guys are in a state of stress 27:05 because four days you gotta be on the plane 27:08 but I appreciate the peace that I see that you guys have. 27:11 I know you're resting in the promises of the Lord. 27:16 So thanks for joining us for that. 27:17 Thank you for having us. 27:19 And thank you for joining us on this special episode 27:22 of Jesus for Asia Now. 27:24 Pray for the Howells as they get ready through 27:27 the last few days of preparation and get on that plane 27:30 and then the fun just begins. 27:32 So, please uphold them, pray for them. 27:35 And if you want to learn more about them, 27:39 if you wanna stay updated about them, 27:40 or if you wanna help support them in their mission for God, 27:44 contact us at Jesus for Asia, 27:47 PO box 1221 27:49 Collegedale, Tennessee, 37315. 27:53 You can call us at (423) 413-7321. 27:58 Or you can just jump on the website at jesusforasia.org. 28:02 Thank you so much for joining us and may God richly 28:05 bless you until we see you again next time 28:07 on Jesus for Asia Now. 28:10 (inspirational music) |
