00:00 (dramatic music)
00:09 (dramatic music continues) 00:21 - Hello and welcome to Jesus for Asia Now. 00:24 I'm Natalie Wood and I am not in the studio today. 00:27 I am in Sukhothai, Thailand. 00:29 And I have some friends with me who don't live here. 00:32 They live in the Philippines. 00:33 I'd like to introduce you to Pete and Jessica. 00:37 Welcome. 00:38 - We are so glad to be here. 00:40 - It's a privilege to have you with me. 00:42 So I wanted to first ask, where are you working? 00:45 - We are working at the island of Mindoro 00:48 in the Philippines, 00:50 trying to reach the Mangyan tribe, 00:51 one of the native group of Mindoro. 00:55 - Okay, let's back up a little bit 00:57 and ask you how you got involved in this work. 01:01 (Pete laughing) 01:03 - It's because of Jon, actually. 01:05 We are proud of the first FaithCamp Asia. 01:08 And after that we came, actually, our faith were challenged. 01:13 So we prayed, we started praying, Lord, Lord, 01:18 how can we start preaching 01:20 and so that our faith will grow as well? 01:23 Two weeks into prayer, God answered... 01:26 - Wow, two weeks? - In a miracle. 01:27 Yes. - Wow. 01:28 - Because we were praying, Lord, please open a way. 01:30 God is not joking... - Right. 01:31 - When he said try me 01:32 and I will show you. - Right. 01:35 - So after praying, Lord, how can we start? 01:38 Two weeks later, Mangyan came to us. 01:40 Mangyan chieftains from... We don't know the place. 01:45 Actually, it was the first time we heard the place. 01:47 So my wife and I gathered what food we can gather 01:50 from the kitchen and feed them. 01:52 And then finally, 01:54 I asked, why are you here? - Yeah. 01:57 - And they would always timidly say, 02:01 nothing, for nothing. 02:02 But that's their way of saying things. 02:05 But you came. Why? 02:07 Because we need school up there. 02:09 - Ah. - Yeah. 02:10 So it was in 2011 when we first built the first 02:13 literacy center. 02:15 We worked there for two years 02:17 and then the people are in the surrounding they're 02:21 from the neighboring communities of the Mangyans, 02:24 noticed what we were doing 02:26 and then they saw my wife selling soy milk and tofu 02:31 and they told her Mom, 02:34 we heard that you are the one sending the teachers 02:37 there at Dumali. 02:38 We want that thing happen in our community as well. 02:41 So there, from the places we don't know, 02:44 it became two and then three literacy centers. 02:47 And now, praise the Lord, 02:49 we were able all through these years... 02:52 Right now, we have 11 mission schools at the same time, 02:55 church during the Sabbath. 02:57 And the ministry just got bigger and bigger and bigger. 03:01 - You said the church, it's used as church on Sabbath. 03:04 Was that allowed when you first started? 03:06 (Pete vocalizing) 03:08 - There was actually the first hurdle. 03:11 You see, when they learned that we are Adventists, 03:14 they were thinking that we are going to convert 03:16 their children. 03:17 So there was a very clear agreement, 03:19 education only, no religion. 03:21 Education only. - Okay. 03:22 - So we're going there to spread the good news. 03:25 And here is the very clear, 03:27 actually, the man who said it, 03:31 repeated it several times, sir, education only, 03:33 we don't need your religion. 03:35 And I said, Lord, how will it be? 03:37 I remember IFL. 03:39 Integration of Faith and Learning. 03:42 Okay. Lord, yes. 03:44 So we agreed, education only, no religion. 03:48 But it doesn't happen that way. 03:50 Yeah, it doesn't happen that way. 03:51 - God has other plans. - Yeah. 03:53 Because the first thing that every student, 03:56 pupil learned is how to pray. - Okay. 04:00 - So we are praying not to make you an Adventist, 04:03 but for God to give you wisdom. 04:06 Because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. 04:09 And then, so the students learn to pray 04:12 and what they learned from the school, 04:14 they also give that to their parents 04:17 when they go home. 04:18 So after three years of working as a teacher, 04:22 we have the first baptism. - Wow. 04:24 - And it's so beautiful. 04:26 It's so beautiful. 04:27 - The first mission school this time is 90% Adventist. 04:33 - Yeah, at Kimale. - Kimale. 04:34 - At Kimale. - Praise the Lord. 04:36 - Even those people who said education only, 04:40 no religion, 90% of that village is now Adventist. 04:45 - Wow. 04:46 - Wednesday this week, starting tomorrow, 04:49 they will have a camp meeting up there. 04:51 - Wow. 04:52 - They're gathering this time. 04:54 Beginning tomorrow, all Adventist converts 04:57 from the ministry. 04:59 - Wow. - They will go up there. 05:01 Most of them now are former students from Kimale. 05:04 We lead the camp meeting. - Wow. 05:06 That is good. 05:07 - Oh, really very, very good. 05:09 We can testify. 05:10 So, the ministry is getting bigger and bigger, actually. 05:15 - There's so much need. 05:16 - There's so much needs. 05:18 One of it is our Bethlehem Project. 05:21 My vision was, this will be the training ground 05:24 for the missionaries. 05:26 And now we figured out something. 05:29 It's better to have a family missionary, 05:31 than those single missionaries. 05:34 Because the family missionaries are more stable. 05:38 They can stay in the place for a while, 05:41 while the single missionaries can come and go anytime. 05:44 - Yeah. - So we figure out, Lord, how? 05:47 And then we have that Bethlehem. 05:50 And sure enough, by God's grace, 05:52 right there now we have one family. 05:55 We built already a building there 05:57 for the residents of the family there 06:01 in charge. 06:02 And now there is one more family. 06:05 They are training, they are preparing 06:08 to be a full-time... - Missionary also. 06:10 - Missionary also. 06:11 Family, missionary, husband and wife. 06:13 And praise the Lord, they're all pure Mangyan. 06:17 - That's always most effective. 06:19 - Oh, that's the most effective. 06:20 They know the language, the culture. 06:22 There is almost no barrier. 06:24 So we are preparing them so that 06:26 when they go to their field, they can reach, 06:30 they can reach their... - Their own people. 06:32 - Their own people. 06:33 So it's really wonderful, you see. 06:35 But the story has not ended there. 06:38 My wife was arrested. - Okay. 06:41 - I can recall it happily, but during that time, 06:43 it was really a terrible day. - Yeah. 06:45 - When the JFA provided the van that the ministry needed, 06:49 we helped the Mangyan travel from here going there, 06:52 and the people were not happy, 06:54 especially those who were tricycle drivers 06:57 who used to exploit them. - Okay. 07:01 - They used to be my friends. 07:03 So, they bribed the military and the people, 07:08 and then they were targeting me. 07:09 They thought because the car was tinted, 07:12 they thought it was me. 07:14 But they arrested somebody else. 07:18 Actually, when I went there to the crime scene, 07:21 they said, oh, this is him. 07:22 So the other police, okay, we cannot do that 07:25 because we caught the wife. - She was driving, yeah. 07:29 - They told me secretly, can you do that? 07:32 It's your husband that is being caught. 07:36 (Pete laughing) 07:37 - She said one morning to me, she said, 07:39 Papa, if I have time, 07:42 I want to be like Paul, 07:43 to witness even in prison. 07:46 And then sure enough, when the car was impounded, 07:51 they were driving. 07:52 There were three of them, four of them in front. 07:55 From the crime scene to the police station, 07:59 she was giving them Bible studies. 08:01 - Oh, praise the Lord. 08:02 - In the police station, they were, 08:05 Mom, sorry, sorry, we cannot do otherwise. 08:08 This is just our job. 08:09 And my wife said, it's okay, it's okay. 08:11 Just do your job. 08:12 - So how did they know her? 08:13 - Because they were they were buying. 08:16 - They were our customers. 08:18 - Oh for the soy milk and tofu. 08:20 - And the juices. - Oh and juices. 08:21 - And healthy foods. - And we give them lectures. 08:24 - Oh, on health. - On health. 08:26 The funny thing there is 08:27 when they got her mug shot, 08:30 that is the first time I saw 08:33 a person accused of a crime 08:36 with an old smile during the mug shot. 08:39 (Pete laughing) - Holding up the number. 08:40 - Holding up the number and the violation 08:43 and everything there. 08:45 - And they asked me, why are you still happy? 08:48 And I answered, praise the Lord, 08:51 it's a privilege to experience all this. 08:53 And I am surprised every minute. 08:58 - She said, I cannot give 09:01 an opportunity to the enemy 09:04 to be lonely when tried. 09:07 I should not give him countenance of loneliness. 09:11 - Of victorious over my life. 09:13 - Yes. - That's why. 09:14 So she was there and the police 09:17 who was taking the photos were just stayed there 09:19 for actually several minutes waiting 09:21 for that facial expression that would tell 09:24 that she is guilty. 09:25 They were not able to do that. 09:26 - I was still smiling and happy. 09:30 - And she was alone in the cell. 09:32 She was... - Visited by a friend, 09:33 a police friend. - Yeah. 09:35 - And said, you're the only one who get in 09:37 with that kind of spirit. 09:39 - She cleaned the toilet there and keep on singing. 09:42 I gave her ukulele. 09:44 Okay, just sing and sing there. 09:45 And the police who were in the office said, 09:48 okay, I'll just stay here. 09:49 I want a positive environment. 09:51 Imagine getting a positive environment from the jail. 09:55 - Yeah. 09:56 - (laughing) Yeah. 09:58 - Because God sent his spirit there... 10:00 - Yeah. - To be with you. 10:01 - That's it, that's it. 10:02 Even our friends who visited, they cried, 10:06 Jess, why are you there? 10:09 I don't like to take pictures of you inside the jail. 10:12 And you know, but we kept on praying, Lord, 10:14 we don't know where this case will go 10:17 and what is the purpose of everything. 10:19 Only to find out now looking behind 10:22 after the case is dismissed, last january 17, 10:25 finally the case was dismissed. 10:26 - Okay. - The van was impounded 10:28 for seven months. - Okay. 10:30 - Yeah. And there the van alone is another miracle story. 10:33 It's a beautiful story the DNR, 10:38 the agency where about this lies, 10:42 said and told, informed my wife, 10:44 said you can you can take that van anyway. 10:48 Tomorrow you can, if you will just agree. 10:50 If you will just do what we are going to tell you. 10:52 And what's that? 10:53 Because I was thinking, oh, what would Jon 10:56 and Natalie think of us? 10:57 Maybe we are so neglectful. 10:59 I am actually I was ashamed to to tell you 11:02 what's happening because, oh Lord, 11:03 how can I tell my friends? 11:06 They have sacrificed a lot for this 11:08 and then it ended up this way. 11:10 The DNR people said, there's only one thing. 11:13 You can take that van tomorrow. 11:15 You can drive it home, with only one condition. 11:18 She will under... 11:21 - Oath. - Oath, she will 11:23 have an affidavit that she take 11:26 because the van is registered on my name, 11:29 that she take that van without my knowledge. 11:32 - Oh. (Pete laughing) 11:34 And this is not true. - He asked also to swear. 11:37 - Yeah, under oath now, 11:38 I will have my sworn statement also, 11:42 that indeed she took it without my knowledge. 11:46 And by that little lie alone, 11:48 with so big a reward for lying... 11:52 Ah, it was almost 11:54 a temptation, but I said... - Almost. 11:55 - Lord, Lord, you gave that to us, and if it's your will, 11:58 you are going to return it to us without any effort. 12:02 We know we committed fault at this thing, 12:04 but Lord, we want... 12:06 Because how can I drive that car? 12:09 Anytime I drive that, the car would shout at me, 12:12 you are a liar, you are lying, you are lying, 12:14 you are lying, you are a liar. 12:17 So, sorry. 12:19 And one more thing. 12:20 One of the secretaries in the office was my student before. 12:24 And she was so kind. 12:26 Sir, ma'am, how can I help? 12:28 Please, this is the statement. 12:30 Please bring this home. 12:32 Change whatever you want to change, ma'am. 12:35 I'm willing to tell, sir. 12:37 I'm helping. I'm here. 12:38 I'm just here. 12:39 But I said, Lord, Lord, I don't want to lie. 12:44 I don't like to lie a bit, even small, 12:47 with a very big result. 12:49 No, I don't like that, so praise the Lord. 12:52 After seven months, the van is back again. 12:55 And you know, the people behind the case, 12:59 those people who were against us 13:02 for helping the Mangyans, were just amazed. 13:04 - Yeah. - They were celebrating. 13:07 Somebody informed us that they were just so happy 13:10 that we don't have this car again. 13:12 And now we don't have that car. 13:13 So we cannot help the Mangyans by this time. 13:16 They were just so happy. 13:17 But when they saw me driving the car again, 13:22 what happened? 13:23 - They said to our Bible worker, 13:27 they have big faith. 13:29 - They said, your boss has big faith. 13:30 They were referring to me. 13:33 We cannot just beat him. 13:37 We cannot just beat him. 13:38 Your boss has big faith, 13:39 they said. - Wow. 13:40 - So, but the story is not yet over. 13:43 - Right. 13:44 - So when, during the time of arraignment, 13:47 we don't have money for private... 13:51 - Lawyer. - Lawyer, 13:52 so we went to POA, 13:54 Public Attorney's Office. 13:57 So somebody informed us an Adventist brother said, 14:00 oh I heard that ma'am Jess has a case. 14:02 Please tell her to look for this attorney, 14:05 he is an Adventist. 14:06 So I called my wife, Mama, look for this attorney. 14:10 She went to the office 14:12 and then she saw him 14:15 somewhere vaping. 14:19 So Adventist vaping? 14:22 And then when I went there, I talked to him. 14:25 I said, attorney, can we offer prayer? 14:27 Can I offer prayer for you? 14:29 Oh, no, no, no. I'm in hurry. 14:30 The court is waiting for me. 14:31 I'm in hurry. (Pete vocalizing) 14:32 He refused to be prayed. 14:34 And then the second time also. 14:37 But the third time, we just persisted to pray. 14:40 And before the case is dismissed, 14:43 wonderful thing happened. 14:46 He did not attend church by the time she was caught. 14:49 So he forgot that he is an Adventist. 14:52 I talked to him. 14:53 I heard you're Adventist. Yes. 14:55 But you see something happened like that. 14:57 Okay, let's not talk about that thing. 14:59 And then, you know, but before the case was dismissed, 15:03 he started going back to church. 15:05 Wonderful. - Wow. 15:07 - He was praying for his clients. 15:10 - Oh wow. - Yeah. 15:11 - And he has a Bible on his table. 15:15 - Wow, praise the Lord. - Yeah. 15:17 Because I can still remember very clearly. 15:20 My wife was crying because she usually goes 15:23 to that place alone 15:25 because we don't have a car anymore to use. 15:28 So I stayed at home and one day from there she was crying. 15:32 She said, Papa, I know this case is not for me. 15:35 I believe God is reaching the attorney. 15:38 - Oh. 15:40 - It was her conviction. - Yes. 15:42 - I believe this case is for him. It's not for me. 15:45 It's not against me. 15:46 - The people there in his office. 15:48 - The people there in his office. 15:49 And the last time we came there, 15:52 there were so many people waiting 15:55 to talk to the attorney. 15:57 And she came late, but she is just going 16:00 to give him juices, 16:04 the healthy juice we have 16:05 and some of our... 16:07 Because he is now into healthy diets. 16:10 He is now into that. 16:12 He loves every 16:15 whatever... 16:16 Everything that we brought him. 16:18 And she said, attorney, I can't just leave your office 16:21 without praying. 16:23 We're praying for you. 16:24 (Pete laughing) - [Natalie] Wow. 16:25 - And he stopped. 16:27 Wait, wait, he said to the people in his office. 16:31 Let us give her time to pray for all of us. 16:35 - Wow. 16:37 - This is the attorney who refused to be prayed 16:39 the first time we met. 16:40 - God is good. - God is really good. 16:41 - Very, very good. - And now, 16:44 even the case is now over, 16:45 we consider that place our another mission field. 16:49 Because we are reaching the POA office. 16:52 She is giving Bible studies to the people there, 16:55 to the secretary. - Wow. 16:56 - So, ma'am, what is your... 16:59 Oh, let us not talk about religion. 17:01 Let us talk about Jesus. 17:02 Have you read your Bible? 17:03 Oh, not yet. 17:05 Okay, please read this one. 17:06 And they have the Bible. 17:07 And she opened the Bible there. 17:10 If you have time, you read this. 17:13 So now we are reaching the attorney's office. 17:17 The prosecutors, the head prosecutor 17:21 just loved our juice so much. - Wow. 17:24 - Just loved our juice so much. 17:25 Even the judge. 17:27 And at the end of the case, 17:29 our attorney said, you know, 17:30 the juice you're drinking, it's from them. 17:33 (Pete laughing) 17:34 - He introduced us to the court. 17:36 They have the wellness center in Sablayan. 17:40 - They are missionaries. 17:41 So now we have the prosecutor's office. 17:44 The trial court is now became our mission field 17:46 and another government office. 17:48 So we are from here, from Thailand, 17:51 maybe we'll just rest for a while and then we'll go back. 17:54 We'll bring our products again. 17:55 - Yes. 17:56 - Because we consider that our field. 17:57 And that alone, the wife of the arresting officer. 18:00 It's another beautiful story. 18:02 We are excited to tell the story. 18:04 You know why? 18:05 Because, you see, we were so sad. 18:09 We were so lonely. 18:11 A sort of something unfairness 18:14 we felt during her arrest. 18:16 It's really a sort of unfair. 18:18 - But it turns out a blessing to everyone, 18:22 to me especially. 18:24 After long story, I can say 18:28 it's really a blessing 18:31 and praise the Lord. 18:33 - During the arraignment, the arresting officer 18:35 was not there in the court 18:37 because he brought his wife to the hospital, 18:39 dying of cancer. 18:42 So after the day of arraignment, the following day we went 18:44 to town and we looked for the arresting officer. 18:48 So we made our way and finally we contacted him 18:52 and actually we met his wife. 18:55 We told her, you can go to our house, to our home. 18:59 I am ashamed, sir. 19:00 I am ashamed because my husband is your enemy. 19:03 He is on the prosecutor's side. 19:05 He is one of the major witnesses. 19:07 Oh, let's not talk about that. 19:09 Let's talk about you. 19:10 Just go there. 19:11 - I am sorry for he arrested you, said the wife. 19:15 (Pete laughing) - Oh. 19:17 - I said, no. 19:18 - She said, I believe, ma'am, you are not guilty. 19:22 I believe, you know, I'm so sorry. 19:24 Ma'am, don't be angry with my husband. 19:26 Yes, yes, it's not about you. 19:28 So three days later, she went to our house. 19:32 And you know, I can see the puss mark under her shirt. 19:37 She was dying. 19:38 She could barely walk there like that. 19:41 Oh, I said you are dying. Don't you know that? 19:44 Yes, I suspect I am dying. 19:47 So, do you believe in God? Yes. 19:51 I am a member of Four Square Church. 19:53 Ah, really? 19:54 I am a worship leader. Okay. 19:57 So you believe in God? Yes, I do. 19:59 So okay, 10-days challenge. 20:01 Why 10? 20:02 Because Daniel said, test us after 10 days. 20:05 - After 10 days, okay. 20:06 - We gave her pure vegetarian diet, 20:10 juice made out of leaves around the house. 20:14 And, but first of all, we tried to reach her spirit. 20:20 She knew that her husband was cheating her. 20:25 - Oh. 20:26 - And I said, you cannot dictate 20:31 over your husband. 20:32 So we'll surrender this to God. 20:35 And she has this angry feeling. 20:38 And I said, you will die if you will have that. 20:41 Let us surrender that. 20:44 Sure enough, after she stayed there for 14 days, 20:47 but in three days, everything was going very, very well. 20:51 In five days, the wound is healed already. 20:54 - Wow. - In five days. 20:56 - She was able to wash... - She was able 20:58 to wash. - Their clothes. 21:00 - You see, after 14 days she was healed. 21:04 And the amazing thing is she organized her neighbors 21:07 around her place, the mothers, to pray with her. 21:10 She made her own prayer circle, 21:12 prayer group. - Awesome. 21:13 Wow. 21:14 - Why? 21:15 Because she learned it in a headquarters. 21:17 The first thing she learned there... 21:19 - Was prayer. - Is prayer. 21:20 - Wow. - That's why 21:21 when she's telling a story, 21:22 I really wonder what healed me. 21:25 The juices or the prayer. 21:26 (group laughing) 21:28 And after the case was dismissed, 21:31 we intentionally went to her, 21:34 and then we hugged her. 21:35 And I tell her, you know, Jesus loves you so much 21:38 that God arranged that my wife be arrested 21:42 so that you would be healed. 21:45 Oh, really? 21:46 God loves me so much. 21:48 And you know, sir, she said, 21:49 I am no longer attending my church 21:53 because they are accusing me of being an Adventist. 21:56 They said, you're an Adventist now. 21:58 And she told me this, I might as well be an Adventist now. 22:02 - (laughing) Yeah. - Because anyway, 22:03 they are telling me that I am an Adventist. 22:05 And one sad thing about this, 22:08 when will you go to our place 22:10 to give Bible study to my prayer group? 22:15 - So we need co-workers for them. 22:18 - You see, she's requesting us to give Bible study 22:22 to their neighbors and they are far from us. 22:25 - Oh. Okay. - So this is the sad thing. 22:27 That's why we are praying for visionaries 22:29 who are like-minded, who are willing. 22:31 That's why what we have learned in Thailand 22:34 for these seven days, we will surely share this there. 22:38 - Yes. - Yeah, wonderful. 22:40 And the story is not yet over 22:42 because she is now our trumpeter. 22:44 - [Natalie] Yeah. 22:46 - Which hospital did you go? And you're... 22:49 No, I did not go to hospital. 22:50 Who is your doctor? 22:51 You know, ma'am Jessica and sir Pete, the bearded man there? 22:55 You go there. 22:56 They were the ones who healed me. 22:59 If you are sick, you go there. 23:01 - And recently, two police women... 23:05 - Came to our place because of her. 23:07 - Wow. - Yeah, 23:08 because of her. - Wow. 23:10 - Two police women went there, and praise the Lord, 23:12 they also experienced the healing 23:15 that they were looking for. 23:16 - Wow. God is good. 23:17 - That's why we are building. 23:18 The Lord now, you see the transition from work 23:21 in the mountain, now there is again a better, 23:24 a bigger work, not for the natives. 23:27 But for the Tagalogs, for the non-natives around us. 23:31 And there were so many cases now, dying of cancer, 23:34 and many also died. 23:36 But I can assure you this, 23:39 and this is our philosophy, that's why even it's 23:41 in the last minute, we accept patients. 23:44 Even in the last minute. - Dying patients. 23:46 - Dying patients. 23:47 We know, ah, it's dying but anyway we accept them. 23:50 You know why? 23:51 Anyway, they will die if they are in the in their house. 23:54 They are already refused of the hospitals, 23:57 of the doctors. 23:58 Oh, you just better give her, 24:00 give them what they did, what they want to eat, 24:04 but they're in our house. 24:06 I believe that when physical healing is impossible, 24:11 spiritual healing is not. - Right. Right. 24:14 God can still do physical healing, 24:17 but what is needed most 24:18 is the spiritual healing. - The spiritual healing. 24:21 Before they took the last breath, many of them cried. 24:24 You can see, and we are telling the missionaries, 24:27 be sure that they would confess Jesus 24:31 before they took their last breath. 24:33 - That is so powerful. - Praise the Lord. 24:35 To God be the glory. 24:38 Who are we to be honored by such a miracle? 24:41 - Right, right. 24:42 It's such a blessing to know that 24:44 you have the spiritual heart, you know, 24:47 the spiritual walk as first priority, 24:50 knowing that God can heal. 24:51 I mean, you've seen him heal. - Yeah. 24:53 - But to realize that they need eternal health, 24:58 actually... - Yeah. 24:59 - Eternal health. - That's it. 25:00 And remember, we don't have any training on these matters. 25:05 I'm taking this by faith. 25:07 (Pete laughing) - Right. 25:08 Lots of prayer. 25:09 That's why the lady learned prayer, right? 25:10 First thing she learned was prayer 25:12 and she didn't know if it was prayer or... 25:14 It was a combination because it was God. 25:16 - It was God. - Using natural remedies 25:18 and things like that. - Yeah. 25:19 It's all natural. - Yeah. Yeah. 25:20 - It's all natural. 25:22 But I have to tell you this, one more, 25:24 that we taught all of the missionaries 25:28 the method we are using. 25:31 And those assigned in the Mangyan Tribe 25:35 now are doctors of the community. 25:39 - Wow. 25:39 - That's why another... 25:41 Just I was telling you that another community was opened 25:44 because they noticed that where the communities that have 25:48 our missionaries staying with them have no deaths. 25:53 This, you know, October, November, December, January, 25:56 this is the time that there are so many sickness 25:59 around the community. 26:00 With the presence of our missionaries, nobody died. 26:03 - Wow. Praise the Lord. 26:05 - Compared to the communities who have no missionaries. 26:08 That's why they were asking, please, pastor. 26:11 We're calling our missionaries pastor, you see. 26:14 Pastor, we want you here. We want you here. 26:17 And now it led us into the idea 26:22 that our missionaries should build a treatment hut as well, 26:28 where they are now, so that people from other communities 26:32 can go to where they are, the Mangyans, 26:34 because the Tagalogs are brought to us, 26:37 to the headquarters, but the Mangyans will be brought, 26:40 and are brought actually, so many of them now... 26:42 - To the missionaries. - To the missionaries. 26:45 That's why our burden now is to build treatment center 26:47 at Landing 26:50 where the Bartholomews are 26:52 and also at Bethlehem 26:55 where the Navarros are. 26:58 So before we came here, the missionaries said, 27:02 Sir, can we start building? 27:04 I said, go ahead. I told them, go ahead. 27:07 The Lord will provide. 27:08 So we are so happy. 27:11 What else would the Lord do 27:13 to this feeble vessel that we are? 27:16 Yeah, so, but we are just so happy to say to the world 27:21 that our God is true, that our God, 27:25 the God who promised 27:27 that I will be with you even unto the end of the world, 27:30 Is really true to his promise, to God be the glory. 27:33 - Amen, amen. 27:35 Well, I would like to invite you to pray for Pete 27:38 and Jessica and all the missionaries in the mountains 27:41 and those that they're reaching in the other areas now. 27:45 And if you would like to have more information, 27:48 you can contact us at Jesus for Asia, 27:50 PO Box 1-2-2-1 27:53 Collegedale, Tennessee 27:54 3-7-3-1-5 27:56 Call us at (423) 413-7321 28:01 or visit our website 28:02 at Jesus4asia.org 28:04 May God richly bless you. 28:06 Until we see you next time on Jesus for Asia Now. 28:09 (dramatic music) 28:18 (dramatic music continues) |
