00:00 (uplifting music)
00:10 (uplifting music continues) 00:21 - Hello and welcome to "Jesus for Asia Now." 00:24 I'm Natalie Wood, and today, 00:26 we will hear some of the most powerful testimonies 00:28 we have ever heard. 00:29 I hope you agree. 00:31 My husband Jon is here with me today. Hello, love. 00:34 - Hi, darling. How are you? - I'm doing really well. 00:36 - Good. 00:37 - And I'm really looking forward to the testimonies 00:39 that we have to share today. 00:40 - So powerful. - Yeah. 00:41 And it's a group of testimonies from one Bible worker. 00:45 - Yeah, usually we hear these kind of stories 00:47 from like 1,000 years, 2000 years ago, 00:50 during the time of Christ, 00:51 or during the times of the Apostles. 00:53 But these stories are just today, in our day, just recently. 00:58 They're fresh from the field. 00:59 - [Natalie] That's true. - Yeah. 01:01 - Well, and the best part is that it's the people 01:03 who this happened to. 01:04 - [Jon] Yes. - That are talking about it. 01:06 - Yeah, so we're gonna hear from the people 01:08 that had actually participated in those events. 01:11 - Right. - So it carries weight. 01:13 It's like the personal testimony. 01:15 And you can tell they're not lying. 01:17 - Right. 01:18 - The nature of these stories 01:19 while having a lot of people just praising God for His power 01:23 and the fact that He's alive today. 01:24 - Right, so before we get started, 01:26 where is this Bible worker located? 01:28 - He's located in the Philippines. 01:29 - Okay, all right. 01:31 Can you tell us a little bit about the first video 01:33 before we watch it? 01:34 - Okay, well, this is a video where he is, 01:36 and you'll see it in the video, 01:38 but he's talking about how he was at, 01:40 and I like this video because it's two parts. 01:43 First, he's talking about a miracle that he had. 01:45 He was at a church Sabbath morning, and it starts to rain. 01:48 And he says, "Lord, please protect my Bible." 01:51 And then he goes through the rain, 01:53 heavy downpour, doesn't get wet at all. 01:56 And then he starts talking about how he exercises faith, 02:00 how to exercise faith. - Okay. 02:02 - And this is what we can learn, 02:04 because a lot of times we think 02:05 that we only have a certain amount of faith, 02:07 and usually we feel like we don't have enough faith. 02:11 But the truth is that faith grows exceedingly. 02:14 Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word. 02:17 - Mm. 02:19 - And faith growth exceedingly so our faith can grow. 02:20 We can grow our faith. - Right. 02:22 - And so we can learn how to exercise faith 02:25 by seeing examples of people that have great faith. 02:28 - Okay. 02:29 - And inspires our faith to trust in God. 02:32 - Okay, well, let's watch that video now. 02:33 - [Jon] Okay. 02:36 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 02:38 - [Interpreter] One Sabbath, 02:39 we were coming home from a distant church 02:40 when it started raining very heavily. 02:43 It was a downpour. 02:44 (speaking foreign language) 02:49 I had forgotten to bring a poncho to cover my bag 02:51 where I had my Bible. 02:53 I knew it would get wet since the bag was not waterproof. 02:56 So I prayed. 02:57 "Lord, the Bible does not have my words in it. 02:59 It has your words. 03:00 If they get wet in this rain, it's okay with me. 03:03 But if it's true that these are your words, 03:05 please help me, so that the Bible will not get wet. 03:07 I will commit it to you." 03:09 (speaking foreign language) 03:12 The wind got stronger. 03:14 While I was riding down the road, 03:15 the rain became even heavier. 03:17 Ahead of me, I could see the rain was so heavy, 03:19 it was a downpour, 03:20 like a wall of water coming down on the road. 03:22 It was a sheet of continual rain. 03:24 But right where I was riding, there was no rain at all. 03:27 (speaking foreign language) 03:29 I went on like that for two kilometers without getting wet. 03:34 When I got to the third kilometer, the rain stopped, 03:36 but then started raining behind me, 03:38 where I had just been before. 03:41 Then the rain seemed like it was chasing me, 03:43 but it never caught up to me until I reached home. 03:45 (speaking foreign language) 03:48 I prayed that my Bible wouldn't get wet, 03:50 and the Lord fulfilled my request. 03:51 He answered my prayer. (gentle music) 03:59 We who say that we depend on and trust in God 04:01 must trust in Him with our whole hearts. 04:04 If we have second thoughts and doubts 04:06 without proving His word, He will not answer our prayers. 04:11 We must give our hearts to Him. 04:13 If we don't truly give our hearts to Him, and we doubt, 04:15 for sure, we will not get what we ask for. 04:18 But if we give Him our hearts, thoughts, strength, and soul, 04:21 it will surely happen, and He will answer our prayers, 04:24 and work out what we have asked for. 04:25 (speaking foreign language) 04:28 If we allow self to get in the way, 04:29 then for sure our requests will not be answered. 04:32 But if we put self down so that it is not our will 04:34 that is followed, but God's, 04:36 for sure He will answer our requests. 04:38 (speaking foreign language) 04:40 This is why the Bible is so precious to us. 04:42 Because it is what will help us do what is right. 04:46 James one said, we should daily read the word, 04:48 so that it can work in us and be fulfilled in our lives. 04:51 If we do not read it day and night, 04:52 then it will not be fulfilled in us. 04:54 So we need to read the Bible every day 04:56 and not forget to do so. 04:57 This is the will of our heavenly Father for us, 04:59 His children to do. (speaking foreign language) 05:13 - Wow. So that's a small miracle. 05:16 But have you ever seen it rain in the Philippines? 05:19 - Yes. 05:21 - [Jon] It's not just rain. 05:22 - No. It's buckets. - Yes, yeah. 05:25 - Large drops. - Yeah. 05:26 - Many, many of them. 05:27 - Very intense. - [Natalie] Yes. 05:28 - And even though through the translation, 05:31 it's kind of hard to understand, 05:32 but basically he was riding through a pocket 05:35 where there was no rain. - Yeah. 05:37 - And protected. 05:38 And it kept his Bible and his bag and himself dry. 05:42 But then he talks about how the word 05:44 is the basis of our faith. - [Natalie] Mm hmm. 05:45 - We have to give ourselves to God and surrender self, 05:48 and not obey self and obey God, 05:50 and continually be fed by His word, 05:52 and then God will answer our prayers. 05:54 - Yes. That's so encouraging. 05:57 - Yeah. That's exactly what John 15:7 says. 06:00 That if you abide in me and my words abide in you, 06:04 so if you dwell on my words, 06:05 if you fill your mind with my words, 06:07 then whatever you ask, I will do. 06:09 And it's like, wow, is that real? 06:13 Is what God says there true? 06:16 - Yes. Because God said it. 06:19 And the Bible also says that God is not a man, 06:21 that He should lie, neither the son of man, 06:24 that He should repent. 06:25 Hath He said, and shall he not do it? 06:28 Hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good? 06:30 So God is the one who can say, and it will happen. 06:35 - Amen. Amen. And the life of God is in His word. 06:38 And His word has creative power 06:40 to do what it says it will do. - Right. 06:42 - I believe that he can't lie 06:44 because whatever He says comes true. 06:46 - Right. That's true, because that's what happened. 06:49 - Yeah. 06:50 - That creation, what He said, was. 06:52 - Exactly, and when He healed, 06:54 He would heal people by the word. 06:56 - Yes. - Yeah. 06:57 Like the centurion says, speak the word only, 07:00 and my servant shall be healed. 07:01 - Right. - And Jesus says, 07:02 "I've not seen such great faith in all of Israel." 07:05 - Right. - So he identifies that, 07:07 trusting in the word as great faith. 07:09 - Right. - And John 15:7, it says, 07:11 "If you abide in me and my words abide in you," 07:14 in other words, if you fill your mind with the words of God, 07:17 then whatever you ask, it shall be done unto you. 07:20 - Right. - Wow. Amazing. 07:23 - Yeah. It's pretty shocking actually. 07:25 When you think about the possibilities. 07:27 - Yeah. 07:28 - There's also a scripture in John 14:12-14. 07:31 - Yes, I'm working on memorizing it, 07:33 so I don't have it down completely, 07:35 because it's the kind of verse that doesn't fit 07:37 with our normal way of thinking. 07:39 - Hmm. - But it says, 07:41 "He that believeth on me, 07:43 the works that I do, shall he do also." 07:46 - Hmm. 07:47 - And greater works than these shall he do, 07:49 because I go into my father. 07:51 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, I will do it. 07:54 - Wow. 07:56 - And there's a lot of people to these days 07:58 that do not believe 07:59 that God is still in the miracle working business. 08:02 - Right. 08:03 But these verses we've just been talking about show that 08:06 not only is He still in the miracle working business, 08:08 but He tells us that greater things than Jesus did, 08:13 his children will do also. - Amazing. 08:16 - And yeah. - Yeah. 08:18 - So we really need the word, 08:19 and we need to choose to have faith in God 08:21 for amazing, huge, incomprehensibly impossible. 08:26 - [Jon] Yes. - Miracles. 08:27 - Yes, yes. God's realm is in the impossible. 08:31 - Yep. - In this next video, 08:32 you'll see our Bible worker, Pablito, Mar, 08:36 and then his wife. - Okay. 08:39 (gentle music) 08:44 (speaking foreign language) 08:46 - [Interpreter 1] Here's the story of Brother Mar, 08:48 a local villager. 08:50 He had a bad case of tuberculosis. 08:53 He was given medicine from the health center, 08:55 and started to get better. 08:57 Then his wife got pregnant, and gave birth to a child. 09:00 But the child was born premature and was sickly. 09:04 (speaking foreign language) 09:11 - [Interpreter 2] My baby was coughing heavily, 09:13 and was sick for about four weeks. 09:15 (speaking foreign language) 09:18 Then we went to visit Mar's parents. 09:21 But when we got there, 09:23 Mar's father said that the child is a curse, 09:26 and he didn't want it around. 09:28 (speaking foreign language) 09:31 - [Interpreter 1] So his father sent them back 09:32 to their home, which was quite a distance, 09:34 and it was getting dark. 09:36 Unfortunately, it rained hard that night. 09:38 And so Mar carried his wife on his back 09:40 since she wasn't very strong. 09:42 This made him get really sick again. 09:45 (speaking foreign language) 09:47 - [Interpreter 2] He carried me on his back. 09:50 (speaking foreign language) 09:51 When we got home, he was freezing cold. 09:54 - [Interpreter 3] I felt really cold. 09:56 Soon after that, I went unconscious. 09:59 (gentle music) (speaking foreign language) 10:06 - [Interpreter 1] He stayed sick for about a week. 10:08 And then his condition got even worse. 10:12 - [Interpreter 2] He had an intense headache, 10:13 and he complained about his stomach hurting so much. 10:16 His coughing got worse and worse. 10:19 Then our baby died, and he took it really hard. 10:22 After that, his condition became very serious. 10:25 (speaking foreign language) 10:28 (gentle music) 10:34 - [Interpreter 1] Mar's uncle invited me 10:36 to come over to see Mar. 10:38 He said, "Help us pray for my nephew." 10:41 (speaking foreign language) 10:42 Mar's wife's aunt is a local traditional medicine healer, 10:45 and she was there when we arrived. 10:47 I asked her, "What is his condition?" 10:49 She said, "I don't know, 10:51 but it appears that all my hope is gone. 10:53 I've tried everything I know, 10:55 but his condition has not improved." 10:58 I said, "Is it all right with you if we entrust this to God? 11:02 We do not have your skills or abilities. 11:04 The only thing I know how to do is to take this to God." 11:07 She replied, "You can do that. I am finished here." 11:12 (speaking foreign language) 11:15 I was observing Mar's condition. 11:18 He was uneasy and kept tossing from side to side, 11:21 and back and forth. (speaking foreign language) 11:24 - [Interpreter 2] I was really at a loss. 11:26 (speaking foreign language) 11:28 I called out, "Friends, come help me hold my husband." 11:32 Whenever he tried to cough, he could not do it. 11:35 (speaking foreign language) 11:38 - [Interpreter 1] He would take short, shallow breaths, 11:40 but still he could not cough. (speaking foreign language) 11:45 Then he lost consciousness. 11:46 He just bit his tongue and passed out. 11:51 His breathing completely ceased. 11:54 (speaking foreign language) 11:56 - [Interpreter 2] I was holding him on my lap. 11:59 I felt his wrist, and there was no pulse. 12:01 He was unconscious. 12:05 But I still held him on my lap. 12:08 When I could no longer bear his weight, 12:10 I placed him on the floor. 12:14 Then I called out for help. 12:17 - [Interpreter 1] His uncle had given up on him. 12:18 He said, "There is nothing more we can do. 12:20 We have no hope anymore." 12:21 They started preparing his body for burial. 12:24 But I still believed. 12:25 I prayed, "Lord, I know that you can do something, 12:29 because you are the owner of life itself. 12:31 We have given up all hope, but we trust your will." 12:34 - [Interpreter 2] When Mar died, I cried, 12:36 "Let me join him in the grave. 12:38 (speaking foreign language) 12:39 Let us all join him in the grave." 12:42 (speaking foreign language) 12:43 - [Interpreter 1] They said, "We have lost our father." 12:45 (speaking foreign language) 12:48 But I said, "Stop crying. 12:50 (speaking foreign language) 12:52 Do you want your husband to live or not?" 12:55 The wife did not answer. She just kept on crying. 12:59 (speaking foreign language) 13:00 - [Interpreter 2] I had lost all hope, 13:01 and had no desire to live any longer. 13:04 (speaking foreign language) 13:06 - [Interpreter 1] His body grew cold, 13:08 and was quickly getting stiff. 13:09 His uncle said, "There is nothing more we can do." 13:12 But I said, "No, we still have to pray 13:15 and entrust this to God. 13:16 He will bring back Mar's life. We must not lose hope. 13:20 He will be given the chance to repent 13:22 and recognize who is the true God." 13:25 (speaking foreign language) (tense music) 13:31 This is how I prayed. 13:33 "If you are the true God that raises the dead, 13:35 I believe you will bring back his life. 13:39 Because you have the power." 13:41 I kept repeating this prayer, but I also added, 13:45 "Not because I have the power, but only because of you." 13:48 Those are the words in the prayer I uttered. 13:52 As I prayed that way, a chilling wind came to me. 13:56 (speaking foreign language) 13:58 It entered my head and filled my whole body. 14:04 Then I had hope that his life would be restored. 14:07 But if I did not feel this way, 14:08 then I would have had no hope. 14:10 I kept repeating this prayer over and over again. 14:13 When I felt the chilling wind, 14:15 I knew it must be the Holy Spirit. 14:18 But the problem is the family 14:19 has not committed to believe in God yet. 14:23 - [Interpreter 2] I had really lost all hope 14:25 that he would be revived again. 14:28 - [Interpreter 1] If you are serious in wanting your husband 14:30 to live again, you must trust the Lord with all your heart, 14:33 your strength, your soul, and your mind. 14:36 And then he will live again. Mar's wife said nothing. 14:40 Josie, another Bible worker that was there, said, 14:43 "If you will not say you believe, 14:45 then we can do nothing more." 14:47 We repeated this question to her, "Do you now believe? 14:50 Will you say that you believe 14:52 that God will bring back the life of your husband?" 14:55 She replied, "Now, I really believe 14:58 that my husband will live again. 15:00 And when my husband lives again, 15:02 we promise that we will believe in your God." 15:04 (speaking foreign language) 15:09 - [Interpreter 3] I heard my children crying 15:11 because I was dead. 15:12 I was already naked. 15:15 (speaking foreign language) 15:18 They said that I was dead, 15:19 but I felt like I had only been sleeping. 15:22 (gentle music) 15:26 Before I opened my eyes, I saw a bright shining light 15:29 coming from the roof of my house. 15:31 (speaking foreign language) 15:35 That was why I woke up. 15:37 - [Interpreter 1] He was dead for two hours. 15:39 (speaking foreign language) 15:40 He died at three o'clock in the afternoon, 15:43 and woke up at 5:00 PM. 15:46 After waking up, he said, "How puzzling." 15:50 Then he stood up and said, 15:51 "I'm strong. I'm healthy. I am no longer sick!" 15:56 (speaking foreign language) 15:58 He really frightened us. 16:00 (gentle music) (speaking foreign language) 16:03 Even now that he's alive, the Bible says that life is short. 16:07 He was given the opportunity to live in order to repent. 16:12 - [Interpreter 3] I was given a second chance at life. 16:14 I am very thankful that I've been given life on Earth again. 16:18 (gentle music) 16:23 - [Interpreter 1] Without God, he wouldn't be alive. 16:25 (gentle music) (speaking foreign language) 16:30 - [Interpreter 3] I hope God will give me strength 16:31 so I can worship Him continually. 16:34 (gentle music) 16:37 (speaking foreign language) 16:38 - [Interpreter 2] I am so happy that he is alive. 16:41 But this time with the Lord, 16:43 I'm thankful to the Lord that he was revived. 16:46 I am happy, and he is also happy. 16:50 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 16:55 - [Interpreter 1] As for me, 16:56 this proves that our God is a real God. 16:59 (gentle music) 17:01 As long as I live, I shall serve Him. 17:03 I will remember this for as long as I have breath. 17:07 I shall tell this to all my relatives and to my friends. 17:10 I promise this to the Lord. 17:13 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 17:27 - Isn't that amazing? - That's so powerful. 17:30 - That's amazing. - Yeah. 17:32 - And here's the most clear testimony 17:34 from people that actually were there, 17:36 and actually did the praying. 17:39 Was dead, raised from the dead, 17:41 and then his wife who was there throughout the whole thing. 17:44 - [Natalie] Yeah. 17:45 - They're the ones telling the story. 17:46 - Yeah, and I love how she said, 17:48 and he said also, "I'm so glad to be alive again, 17:52 to have this chance to know God." 17:54 - [Jon] Yes. - His wife said, 17:56 "I'm glad he's alive again with the Lord." 17:58 And so they recognized the value 18:00 that God has brought to their lives. 18:01 - Yes. 18:02 - And the beauty of being connected with God. 18:04 - One of the details that didn't make it into the video 18:06 was the fact that when he died, 18:08 they go and they bury them immediately. 18:10 Because it's such a hot climate that they start decomposing. 18:13 And so they started preparing his body. 18:16 They took his clothes off, and his body was getting cold. 18:19 It was getting stiff. Rigor mortis was setting in. 18:23 And the uncle and everybody was saying, "Let's bury him." 18:26 And Pablito was saying, "Wait, don't you believe 18:29 that God can raise him from the dead?" 18:31 - Mm hmm. 18:33 Which is pretty brave, but he knows God. 18:36 And he had been praying the whole time. 18:38 - [Jon] Right. - Asking God, 18:40 "Do you wanna raise this guy from the dead?" 18:42 - [Jon] Right. - And he had confidence 18:44 because God gave him that chilling wind as he described it. 18:47 - [Jon] Right. - That feeling, 18:49 - [Jon] That sensation. 18:50 - That God wanted to raise him from the dead. 18:53 - Yeah, one part of it that people tend to overlook, 18:56 because the raising from the dead 18:58 is such a controversial thing, actually, in these days, 19:01 even with believers, even with Christians, is that, 19:04 and I've heard that some people say, 19:06 "well, it doesn't really count. He's not really dead. 19:08 'Cause he was dead for less than five hours." 19:11 - Right, and did you have a doctor, 19:13 a death certificate and stuff like that? 19:16 Yeah. 19:17 - But the thing is that even if he hadn't been fully dead, 19:20 when he was brought back to life, 19:22 he was cured from tuberculosis. 19:25 - [Natalie] Right. 19:26 - Which killed him in the first place. 19:26 - Right. 19:28 - So he was healed from tuberculosis, which killed him. 19:31 - Right. So God did two miracles all at once. 19:34 - Yes, absolutely. 19:35 And this is from their perspective, 19:38 this is their experience. 19:40 - [Natalie] Right. - And so it's not, 19:42 "Oh, I heard somebody got raised from the dead." 19:43 No, this is the actual people. 19:45 - [Natalie] Right. 19:47 - Aside from actually being there and documenting it myself, 19:48 I don't know if I would believe it even more if I was there. 19:51 - Right. 19:52 - But hearing it from these people, the wife, 19:55 I mean, she doesn't have anything to gain 19:56 from coming up with a story like that. 19:58 - No. 19:59 - She wouldn't even think about it. Why? 20:01 And so, this is probably the strongest example 20:05 of God's power in our life, in my lifetime. 20:09 That just happened 2021. 20:11 - Yeah. - [Jon] Yeah. 20:12 - Wow. Wow. 20:15 And I know that Pablito's experience is continuing to grow. 20:19 - [Jon] It is. 20:20 - As he seeks God through His word. 20:22 - [Jon] Yes. 20:23 - And connects with the Holy Spirit 20:24 and continues to go where God calls him 20:26 to go as a Bible worker. 20:28 - Right. 20:29 As a matter of fact, the next video 20:31 is another raising from the dead. 20:33 - Okay. 20:35 - But in some ways, this is even more impressive. 20:37 But you'll have to see it for yourself. 20:39 - Okay. 20:40 (speaking foreign language) 20:43 - [Interpreter 1] I prayed, 20:45 "Lord, if my father is still not ready for heaven, 20:46 please give him life. 20:48 But if my father is worthy to be in heaven, 20:50 then it's all right, 20:51 even if you do not bring him back to life again." 20:54 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 21:05 - [Interpreter 4] My two granddaughters 21:06 called me from the farm. 21:07 They said, "Grandma, come." 21:09 I asked, "Why?" 21:11 They said, "Grandpa is dead." 21:13 I said, "How can that be? 21:15 I just saw him walking a little while ago." 21:18 (speaking foreign language) 21:20 Then I left my basket and made my way to the village. 21:23 When I got here, my grandchild told me, 21:26 "Grandpa is already dead." 21:28 (speaking foreign language) 21:31 - [Interpreter 1] In the morning, 21:33 he was working where he planted some bananas. 21:35 When he was done with his work with the bananas, 21:37 he turned to make his way back home. 21:39 He didn't even reach his house, 21:40 because it was up a rather steep hill. 21:42 So he just fell over and rolled downhill. 21:46 - [Interpreter 4] Then my son-in-law came from 21:48 the far village along the river. 21:50 His wife told him, "Father is no longer with us. 21:53 He's already dead." 21:55 He said, "I'm going to tell his son, Pablito, 21:58 that he is already dead." 22:00 (speaking foreign language) 22:01 - [Interpreter 5] There was nothing left to do. 22:02 He was already dead. 22:04 All I did was to go to Pablito to tell him 22:06 that his father has died, and that he may go to him. 22:09 (gentle music) (speaking foreign language) 22:11 - [Interpreter 1] He told me, "Your dad is already dead. 22:13 We need to bury him." 22:15 I asked, "When did he die?" 22:17 They said, "Earlier this morning at 6:00 AM." 22:19 I said, "I will come shortly." 22:21 (speaking foreign language) 22:22 They told me, "You need to look for something we can use 22:25 to bring your father here to be buried. 22:27 Maybe a tractor. 22:28 There's a tractor we can hire, 22:30 but we will have to pay around 500 pesos." 22:33 - [Interpreter 4] I said, "We need to pray." 22:36 While Pablito is gone looking for a tractor, 22:38 we need to come together and pray. 22:40 (speaking foreign language) 22:42 - Before I went to my father's village, 22:43 I went to the church to pray. 22:45 I prayed, "Lord, if my father is still not ready for heaven, 22:49 please give him life. 22:50 But if my father is worthy to be in heaven, 22:52 then it's all right, 22:54 even if you do not bring him back to life again." 22:56 That's how I prayed. 22:57 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 22:59 Then I started to go to the village, 23:00 still earnestly praying. 23:03 When I was near their house, I just shouted. 23:05 (speaking foreign language) 23:09 Father, wake up! 23:11 Father started moving. 23:12 (speaking foreign language) 23:14 - [Interpreter 6] It felt like I saw a bright light. 23:17 And before I knew it, I was alive. 23:19 (speaking foreign language) 23:22 I woke up thinking, "My son is here." 23:25 It was like I was in a dream. I didn't know anything. 23:28 (gentle music) 23:30 - [Interpreter 1] By the time I got to the house, 23:31 it was about 5:00 PM, almost 6:00 PM. 23:34 It was already growing dark. 23:36 They had told me he was already dead, he was already stiff. 23:40 But when I got there, he started breathing. 23:43 I had just gotten there. 23:44 But they told me that that whole day, 23:46 he was completely lifeless. 23:48 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 23:52 - [Interpreter 4] He wasn't even moving. 23:53 His legs weren't moving. We are sure he was dead. 23:58 We also know how to check his pulse, and he had no pulse. 24:00 (speaking foreign language) (gentle music) 24:05 - [Interpreter 6] The next day I woke up 24:07 with the crowing of the roosters. 24:08 My body seemed strong. 24:10 And I remembered that the Lord had brought me back to life. 24:13 I prayed, "Thank you, God, for giving me life again, 24:17 so that I may tell others about you." 24:19 (speaking foreign language) 24:22 - [Interpreter 1] My father said, 24:23 "If it wasn't for God, I would be dead now." 24:27 "If you hadn't had faith," he told me, "I would be dead." 24:30 I told him, "Yes, you must trust God. 24:32 Don't be afraid to die. 24:34 It's okay to die if you trust in the Lord." 24:37 Because Paul said, "If you live in the Lord, 24:40 even if you die, you will be in the Lord. 24:42 But if your life is not in the Lord, when you die, 24:44 you will also not be in the Lord." 24:46 That's why you need to trust in God. 24:49 My family told me, "If it weren't for you, Pablito, 24:51 your dad would be dead, 24:53 because no one would pray the way you did." 24:55 I replied, "I wasn't the one who brought him back to life. 24:58 It was God who brought him to life." 25:00 They said, "But what if you weren't here? 25:02 How could we bring your Father to the Lord in prayer, 25:04 then he wouldn't have been brought back to life." 25:06 But praise God, he was brought back to life. 25:09 So that is why my family really believes 25:11 that God is truly alive. 25:14 (gentle music) 25:25 - That is why his family believes that God truly exists. 25:28 - Yeah. 25:29 - Because his father was dead for almost 12 hours. 25:31 - [Natalie] Yeah. 25:32 - And was brought back to life. 25:33 - So when did this miracle take place? 25:34 - This took place 2024. - Wow. 25:37 - So he's prayed for other people, 25:39 and God has done miracles through him 25:41 for these other people as well. 25:43 And so he has developed a faith and understanding 25:47 and a relationship with God that allows God to use him 25:50 to do these kinds of things. 25:52 - Yeah, which is amazing. - Yeah. 25:54 - I'd like to play this clip again 25:55 about Pablito explaining his faith. 25:58 - [Jon] Yes. - How to have faith, 26:00 and how to grow faith from the first video 26:02 that we watched today. 26:03 - [Jon] Okay. 26:04 (speaking foreign language) 26:06 - [Interpreter 1] We who say that we depend on 26:07 and trust in God must trust in Him with our whole hearts. 26:10 (speaking foreign language) 26:11 If we have second thoughts and doubts, 26:13 without proving His word, He will not answer our prayers. 26:16 (speaking foreign language) 26:18 We must give our hearts to Him. 26:20 If we don't truly give our hearts to Him, and we doubt, 26:23 for sure, we will not get what we ask for. 26:25 But if we give Him our hearts, thoughts, strength, and soul, 26:28 it will surely happen. 26:30 And He will answer our prayers 26:31 and work out what we have asked for. 26:33 (speaking foreign language) 26:35 - Now, it's important to understand 26:36 that we don't follow miracles. 26:38 'Cause there's false miracles out there. 26:39 You remember when Moses was trying to bring the children 26:42 of Israel out of Egypt, 26:43 and he threw down his rod and it became a snake? 26:46 - Yes. 26:47 - Well, the magicians did the same thing, 26:49 and they made that look like theirs look like snakes. 26:52 - Yes. 26:53 - And so, we don't follow miracles. 26:54 We follow the Bible, the word of God. 26:56 But miracles can follow those that believe. 26:59 - Mm hmm. - Okay? 27:00 And that's what Jesus says. 27:01 These signs shall follow them that believe. 27:03 - Yeah. 27:05 - And so I hold people like Pablito as heroes of the faith. 27:09 - Hmm. 27:10 - I want to grow into that type of faith in my own life, 27:12 not so that I can be like, 27:14 "Oh, look, I'm holier than thou." No. 27:15 But because I see there's people in the world 27:17 that are hurting and they need Jesus in their lives, 27:20 and they need a miracle to get us to escape 27:22 from the snares of Satan, from the snares of evil 27:25 and the oppression that so many people 27:27 are dealing with today. 27:28 - [Natalie] Yeah. - And so I just thank God 27:30 for our little Bible worker in the Philippines 27:34 that has the giant faith. 27:36 - Yeah. 27:37 As we finish this show, I wanna invite you to pray 27:39 for Pablito and the other Bible workers all over Asia, 27:43 particularly in the Philippines, where we've been today. 27:46 And if you want more information, 27:48 please contact us at Jesus for Asia, 27:50 PO Box 1221, Collegedale, Tennessee, 37315. 27:56 Call us at (423) 413-7321, 28:00 or visit our website at Jesus4asia.org. 28:04 May God richly bless you until we see you next time, 28:06 on "Jesus for Asia Now." 28:08 (uplifting music) 28:19 (uplifting music continues) |
