Yes! 06:01 Oh, okay, then let's do that. 06:04 All right, let's get started. Find your lemons. 06:07 And some of you have a lemon juicer 06:11 and some have the little handheld lemon juicers. 06:13 And for today, don't worry about 06:16 trying to write down all the ingredients, 06:18 you can just go online, and you can go 06:22 to 3ABNkidsCamp.tv 06:27 and you can get the recipe, right there. 06:30 And now you'll just watch and learn how to make it. 06:33 We're gonna take two teaspoons of lemon juice 06:37 and we're gonna mix it 06:39 into one cup of our unsweetened almond juice. 06:44 I mean, almond milk. What? 06:48 How many teaspoons, two teaspoons of lemon juice? 06:52 You're going to squeeze lemons. 06:55 And then you're gonna pour it out 06:58 into your teaspoon. 07:02 Okay. 07:03 So take your lemons and start squeezing. 07:07 You got... You have your little bowls. 07:10 Squeeze hard, guys. 07:14 Oh, you're gonna have that muscles. 07:18 Who's got muscles? 07:20 Nobody has muscles. 07:22 Who has muscles? 07:24 Oh, you have muscles, Cadence. 07:28 Oh, Ben's got muscles. 07:31 Oh! Squeeze them both. 07:35 And you're doing an awesome job. 07:37 You guys, getting your lemons all squeezed. 07:42 Two teaspoons. 07:46 Does anyone know how many teaspoons 07:48 is in a tablespoon? 07:51 Anybody? 07:54 Yes, Jasmine. Three. 07:57 Very good. 07:58 Ah, that's awesome. 08:01 Okay, did you get your lemons squeezed? 08:04 Nope. Nope? 08:05 How you doing? 08:08 Good job. Oh, big muscles. 08:12 How's it going over here? 08:15 Okay, now take your... 08:17 Your milk is already measured in your measuring cup. 08:21 See how it's one cup. 08:23 Does anyone know why your milk is in this cup, 08:29 but we have this cup on your tray? 08:33 Okay, Abby. 08:35 It's because this is for measuring liquid 08:37 and this is for measuring of dry ingredients. 08:40 Very good. 08:42 That's awesome, and exactly right. 08:44 So, boys and girls, you have a liquid measuring cup 08:48 and a dry measuring cup. 08:50 And when you're pouring liquid, how do you measure? 08:54 Do you hold your cup up like this 08:55 and pour your liquid in? 08:58 No, you set your cup down and pour your liquid in 09:03 because that way you can make sure, 09:05 boys and girls, that you get it even in level. 09:10 That's right. 09:11 Okay, now you're gonna make sure 09:13 you don't put the seeds in, boys and girls. 09:15 Okay, put your two teaspoons of lemon juice 09:18 into your one cup of milk. 09:23 There you go. 09:24 We'll take your lid off for you. 09:27 There you go. Don't get the seeds in. 09:29 I don't think that would taste good in our pancakes. 09:32 What do you think? 09:35 Anybody think the seeds would be 09:36 good in our pancakes? 09:38 No. No. 09:41 Me either. 09:44 Now make sure you get two level teaspoons, guys, 09:49 you don't want to be short. 09:53 And then take your... 09:55 You can take your teaspoon 09:56 and stir it around in your milk a little bit. 09:59 This will kind of 10:01 give a consistency of buttermilk 10:05 'cause you hear buttermilk pancakes. 10:07 Well, we want to be healthy, so we're doing it vegan. 10:11 And so this way you can make it 10:13 get a little bit more of the consistency 10:15 of buttermilk. 10:17 And now we're gonna let that set aside. 10:20 Okay? 10:21 There you go. 10:24 Actually, we can just put that right on the tray. 10:28 Okay? 10:29 All right, now take your bowls, your big green bowls. 10:36 And we'll put this here for now. 10:39 You're gonna take two and a half cups of flour. 10:44 Now look and see your measurements. 10:48 You can tell by size. 10:50 But before you measure something, 10:53 always make sure 10:55 because what if this was a one-third cup? 10:58 Then you would have the recipe wrong. 11:00 Then I would have the recipe wrong. 11:02 That's right, Cate. 11:03 So you want to always make sure, 11:06 don't ever assume 11:08 that you were given the right measuring cup. 11:11 Okay? 11:12 Always make sure. 11:13 And also make sure you level it off 11:16 and make sure your measuring cups are full 11:19 to the top. 11:21 Then make sure it's full to the top. 11:23 Was this one full to the top too? 11:26 Because make sure it's full to the top. 11:28 And you can always use your scoop, 11:30 your spatula over here 11:31 or one of your spoons to help get it in 11:34 'cause it's a little challenging 11:35 with a little bowl, isn't it? 11:37 Make sure you get it level, boys and girls, 11:40 or you will not have the consistency 11:44 of your pancake batter. 11:46 Okay? 11:47 Everybody got that done? 11:49 Oh, no. 11:50 So how many do you have in there? 11:52 One. 11:53 Okay, so there's your second one. 11:55 Now let's put your third one in. 11:57 So, boys and girls, remember, make your measurements. 12:02 You have to get it exactly right 12:04 if you want a good recipe, okay? 12:07 And there you go.
