00:03 we're having so much fun in the kitchen. 00:06 We have Lyla and Braden with us from Tennessee. 00:09 What's on the menu? 00:11 Thai butternut and cilantro soup 00:14 with basil hummus. 00:15 And watermelon pizza. 00:18 Sounds good to make. 00:21 So what's a watermelon pizza? 00:24 Who knows? 00:25 Well, let's see what a watermelon pizza is. 00:26 It's really fun. So we're going to have this. 00:28 Check out this great watermelon. 00:30 Isn't it cool? Pretty big. 00:31 Pretty big. I don't know. 00:33 So what I'm going to do, 00:34 we're gonna take a big chunk out of it like that, 00:37 we're gonna cut through there. 00:40 Oh, it's a beauty. 00:43 And we're gonna cut another slice here as well, 00:44 probably about an inch 00:46 or about two centimeters thick, like that. 00:53 There you go, look at that. 00:55 And if we cut it into wedges like this... 01:05 Sorry. It's okay. 01:06 What does it look like? 01:08 A pizza. 01:09 Exactly. 01:10 So that's gonna be the base of our pizza. 01:12 So we're gonna put it on a little serving dish here. 01:13 It looks quite nice 01:15 if you do a bit of few inches there like that. 01:16 It's like snow flake. 01:18 Very cool. 01:20 Isn't that look cool? Yeah. 01:21 So there's our pizza. 01:23 Also before we turn the chopping board over 01:25 during the break, 01:26 so we're not kind of cutting on onion surface. 01:28 But isn't it cool? 01:30 So we're gonna do some really cool fruit 01:31 dressing on that now. 01:32 So we've got some lovely fruits. 01:34 Do you want to grab some of the fruit there, Lyla? 01:35 Grab some of the fruit over for us? 01:37 Okay. Shall I check the soup to see if it's ready? 01:39 Good plan. Let's have a look. 01:41 It looks good. Take the lid off. 01:43 Let's have a look. Blue berries. 01:46 Berries, yep. Some cherries. 01:47 Have these. And blueberries. 01:50 Cool, so we'll come back to that shortly. 01:51 Just before we do, we'll just check if it's working. 01:54 Just get the spoon 01:56 and we're just going to just plug it in there. 01:57 And as you can see it's nice and soft. 02:00 So you should be able to get the bit of pumpkin 02:03 and it should be nice and soft and kind of squishy. 02:05 If it's not, then you need to, 02:06 you may have to cook it a bit longer. 02:08 Okay, put it in and blend away. 02:19 Looking good. So just keep blending there. 02:21 I'll put a bit more water in 02:23 because a lot of the water is evaporated 02:25 so let's put about another cup of water in. 02:27 You do need to adjust your soup sometime. 02:29 There you go. So just keep blending away. 02:33 And meanwhile, Lyla, 02:35 all you need to empty the hummus. 02:37 Put the hummus here into this little bowl here. 02:41 And I'll start chopping our fruit. 02:42 How do you open it? 02:44 Basically just pull up like this 02:45 and lift the black thing off. 02:48 Oh. Cool. 02:50 So we got a nice little blue serving dish here. 02:53 You might need to use your other blender. 02:55 Oh, yeah. 02:57 I'll just get this watermelon out of the way 02:59 so the kids at home can see what's going on. 03:04 So we're multitasking here. Starting to get thick. 03:07 Is it? That's great. 03:09 You're doing very well there. 03:13 So we got a peach here. 03:14 So we're just gonna take some fruit 03:16 and we're just gonna chop it up into different shapes. 03:19 Oops, it's coming with the stone 03:21 which makes it a bit harder. 03:25 We get some little slices like that. 03:28 It's coming with the stone. 03:31 And we're just gonna put some really beautiful fruit 03:33 on top of this pizza. 03:36 So we're just gonna make lots of little slices. 03:39 How's it looking? Good. 03:40 Also bubbling, is it? Okay, you can turn the gas off. 03:42 Down to the off. 03:44 I might have the spilled the little of it. 03:46 Oh, that's okay, do you taste it, 03:47 there's option to taste it. 03:48 Okay. Dip your finger, what's it taste like? 03:50 No, no, yep, cool. 03:52 Don't double dip though, just one dip. 03:53 Yep, have a taste. 03:55 Shimmy. It's like hummus. 03:57 Well it taste, you have to taste it too. 04:00 Hummus with, and what's the flavor there? 04:03 Hummus with... 04:05 I don't know. Basil. Oh, yeah, basil. 04:06 So we just wash our hands, things we've kind of dipped. 04:09 So it's okay to dip in the food, 04:10 as long as your clean hands and you don't double dip. 04:14 Tastes really nice. 04:17 I want cool. 04:19 Right now, it's hot, and that's cool. 04:20 So I'm just gonna start decorating this pizza 04:22 and as you can see we're just putting 04:24 lots of little stuff on it. 04:27 And we've got some blueberries here as well. 04:32 If you wanna grab the coconut cream and open that... 04:35 Coconut, there you go. 04:36 Tip half of that into the pumpkin soup. 04:38 Half of it? 04:39 I'm gonna arrange some berries, yep. 04:44 And Lyla, if you can put some cashews 04:45 and some water into the blender... 04:47 Say that again, please. 04:48 We're gonna make some cashew cream. 04:50 Put a cup of cashews and I'll put the cashews 04:52 and we're running out of time. 04:54 So we need to get finished before the show is over. 04:57 So if you're gonna put about a cup of water in, 04:58 get a cup of water and put it in there and blend away. 05:01 And I'll keep dressing this pizza. 05:02 From here? Put that in. That's great. 05:06 And I'm gonna dress this here. 05:08 We're gonna put some cherries on. 05:10 So we're gonna make this really lovely pizza. 05:12 Shall I put it in? 05:14 Put that in and blend it. 05:18 I'm just gonna try to balance some of these fruit on here. 05:21 We'll chop up some... Oh, don't forget the lid. 05:23 Oh, making a big mess. 05:26 That would have been exciting if that lid wasn't there, 05:28 wouldn't it? 05:29 And push the go button. 05:31 Wow, look at that. 05:33 Like a really nice tasty cream to go with the top. 05:37 So there we go, it takes it around, 05:38 give it a good stir. 05:47 That's great. 05:48 So in the break, we're just gonna put the soup 05:50 into a bowl and garnish it with some cilantro, 05:53 we're gonna drizzle some cashew cream over the pizza. 05:55 We've got the hummus ready and our meal is done. |
