Amen. 12:51 You may be seated. 12:55 Well, good morning, North Florida. 12:57 Good morning. 12:58 And welcome to camp meeting here at beautiful Camp Kulaqua. 13:03 Let me ask you, have you been blessed 13:05 in your time here thus far? 13:07 Amen. 13:08 Do you expect to continue to be blessed? 13:11 Amen. 13:12 What an awesome God we serve. 13:14 Amen? Amen. 13:16 Did you know that today is a very special Sabbath day? 13:22 Did you know that? Amen. 13:23 Yes, it's special because we are-- 13:26 have the privilege of gathering here 13:28 in this beautiful surrounding of Camp Kulaqua 13:30 with nature to worship and to praise God. 13:33 Isn't that makes it special? 13:35 But it is much more special than that. 13:37 You see today we are one Sabbath closer 13:41 to the coming of King Jesus. 13:43 Amen. 13:44 That makes it a special Sabbath. 13:46 Amen? Amen. 13:47 And we are here today to prepare our hearts 13:51 and to prepare our minds for the coming of the King. 13:54 Amen. 13:56 Now I'm going to ask you to bow your heads with me 13:59 as we begin our time in worship and praise with prayer. 14:06 Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. 14:12 Father God, you truly are an awesome God 14:16 and your love for each one of us is overwhelming. 14:20 But we thank you Lord, we thank you 14:23 that we who inner ourselves are unworthy, 14:26 have been made worthy by the blood of Jesus 14:28 to receive your abundant love 14:32 and we thank you for that. 14:35 Father, as we worship and praise your name today 14:38 we ask that you might pour out a special blessing 14:41 not only on our speaker 14:43 and those participating in the program 14:45 but into each and every individual 14:48 in this auditorium this morning. 14:50 But more than that Lord, 14:51 we ask that your blessing would extend to each one 14:54 watching this program this morning. 14:57 Father, we love you 14:59 and we know that your love for us is great. 15:02 And we pray Lord that this morning 15:03 when we leave this auditorium each one will know 15:07 that we have spent time with Jesus. 15:10 For we ask it now in Jesus precious name, amen. 15:15 Our scripture reading this morning 15:18 will be taken from 15:19 1 John 2:15-17. " 15:27 I read. 15:31 "Love not the world, 15:33 neither the things that are in the world. 15:36 If any man love the world, 15:38 the love of the Father is not in him. 15:41 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, 15:45 and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, 15:49 is not of the Father, but is of the world. 15:54 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof 15:58 but he that doeth the will of God 16:00 abideth for ever. 16:04 We have been given mandates 16:08 and we in the prison ministry the Florida prison ministers 16:11 are trying our best to follow these mandates 16:15 by taking the Word of God in to the prisons. 16:19 As a result of that we have gotten 16:22 thousands of prayer requests from all institutions all over. 16:28 Today we ask you to help us pray 16:32 that these inmates will continue 16:34 to seek after the Lord. 16:36 It is the desire of the Florida prison ministers 16:40 to reach our inmates 16:43 and to have a prison ministers program 16:48 in every Seventh-day Adventist church. 16:51 God has been blessing us 16:53 and He will continue to bless us 16:55 if we are faithful to the mandates 16:57 He gives us. 16:59 I would like to also ask all those 17:02 in the hearing of my voice 17:04 if there is a burden that you would like 17:07 to take to the foot of the cross this morning 17:10 just raise your hands to heaven as we pray. 17:15 Great God and Father of mankind, 17:19 the one true God that hears and answers prayers. 17:23 We are children above in Your awesome presence this morning. 17:28 We bow to You this morning because You are our God 17:32 and You are the only one 17:34 that can save and answer our prayers. 17:38 All over the world this morning hands are raised, 17:43 You know each one of us individually. 17:47 You have counted the hairs on our heads 17:50 You know us, You know our hearts. 17:54 You know what we feel 17:56 so we come to You for relief this morning 17:58 because You are the balm in Gilead. 18:02 Father, as we bow we want to remember 18:06 the prisoners all over the world 18:10 those who for some reason or the other are behind bars. 18:14 We ask You to help us to bring them the message 18:17 that has their contemplated 18:19 they will know that in You freedom 18:21 and true freedom does really exist. 18:24 We ask you Father, 18:25 to bless this service today in a special way. 18:30 Fill us with Your joy, 18:31 fill this place with Your glory. 18:34 We ask you Father, to bless the speaker of whoever 18:37 anoint him from the crown of his head 18:39 through soul of his feet 18:41 that as he brings the word from your throne room 18:44 we will be blessed 18:45 and we shall have left this place 18:48 we will know it was good to be here 18:50 knowing that You are our God. 18:52 You are real and You are true and You are faithful. 18:55 We thank You in Jesus name, amen. 19:09 We live in an amazing world that advances technologically. 19:14 It seems like very rapidly on a daily basis 19:19 literally machines making machines. 19:21 You know, robots painting cars. 19:24 I was listening to Paul Harvey the other day 19:25 and he was talking about the fact 19:27 that robots maybe doing heart surgery some day. 19:31 I just hope that once painting cars 19:32 and ones doing surgery don't get mixed up. 19:35 But anyway my point is the world 19:38 is advancing in this way its great. 19:40 I think the Lord empowers man to use his creativity 19:43 and intelligence to do wonderful things 19:45 but there is really nothing like the simple sweet things. 19:51 Like a humming bird sipping nectar in flight. 19:58 A mother's smile with a new born babe. 20:03 In the song I'll tell you 20:05 some more about those kinds of things. 20:07 I hope it blesses your hearts. 20:12 Life has become so mechanical 20:17 Machines are making machines 20:22 Truly the times are so technical 20:27 Much more than I've dreamed 20:32 Well, I'm not now in the need to progress 20:36 It's fascinating how far we've come 20:41 But I have to say I've need to confess 20:46 I prefer simpler life than some 20:51 Oh, I love Your creation, Lord 20:56 The simple, sweet things I see 21:00 Like a humming bird sipping nectar in flight 21:06 And the sound of the ever green 21:18 It's so overwhelming to see all the changes 21:22 Sometimes I'm confused yet amazed 21:27 So the day I take all of my dreamt dream 21:33 For you and your natural ways 21:37 Like sitting on a fire and sipping of cider 21:42 Trying to count all stars 21:47 Here in the rain dancing on to move 21:52 Drinking tea from an old mason jar 21:57 Oh, I love Your creation, Lord 22:02 The simple amazing things I see 22:07 Like a humming bird sipping nectar in flight 22:12 And the night sky tapestry 22:19 Oh, I'm in my way to the struggles in life 22:24 I'm guided by the strength of your love 22:30 It's beside anyone I don't take for granted 22:34 The greatest gifts from above 22:41 That's why Hey, Bill. 23:25 Well, what I wouldn't get to able to sing like that. 23:29 Somebody said you even got to learn zither or something. 23:33 That's not right. 23:34 Yeah, that's not, that's not fair. 23:36 Well, that's all right, when I get to heaven 23:38 I'm gonna ask God to let me just, 23:40 I know you shouldn't have an edge 23:41 but just want to let Bill see 23:42 what its like to have somebody be 23:44 a little better singer than him, you know. 23:46 Just one time, that's all then 23:47 we will be equal after that, Bill. 23:49 I've known Bill for a long time 23:51 and he is great guy and got an incredible talent 23:54 and thank you for using it for Jesus. 23:57 Well, good morning. 23:58 It's still morning, I think isn't it? 23:59 We are getting close here in Florida 24:02 and it's good to be here in North Florida 24:04 to camp meeting. 24:05 And I want to welcome all our viewers again. 24:07 They are round the world watching 24:08 Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 24:10 I like camp meetings 24:12 because you can go kind of casual. 24:14 I look a little casual but you see this shirt today, 24:18 can you read it from back there what's it say? 24:20 Somebody read it. 24:22 Put them back where they belong, 24:24 showing the Ten Commandments and watch this. 24:29 All right, all right, our hearts and mind. 24:36 I decided you know, 24:37 why wear a suit coats like everybody else today 24:40 when this shirt makes a statement 24:42 everywhere I go, right. 24:44 And cloths can really do something for you. 24:46 Everybody has got their own thing 24:47 they like to do with cloths 24:49 but I remember there was a man in our church 24:52 and knowing all my life growing up as a kid Earl Jones. 24:56 Everybody call him grandpa, Grandpa Jones. 24:59 Earl was a man that had a quick wit, 25:01 very funny and just seemed like 25:03 he could joke about anything 25:06 but have a good time in life and want to be a good witness 25:09 but you never knew when to take him serious. 25:11 Well, when he was in his late 80s 25:14 Earl knew that he was dying and made preparations for that. 25:18 I didn't hear what the preparations were 25:20 but I went to the funeral 25:22 the little church there in West Frankfort, Illinois. 25:25 Went into the funeral, Earl has seven kids 25:28 and I looked at the casket and Brother Jones, 25:31 Earl Jones, 87-years-old was laying in his pajamas, right. 25:37 Now, come on, I said, now wait a minute. 25:39 I talked to one of the grandsons 25:40 Terry Earl was his name and I said Terry, 25:43 what's the deal on grandpa that you know 25:46 the kids are seven of the kids and all you grandkids 25:49 somebody could have bought him a suit. 25:51 Well, Earl was a carpenter, 25:53 I never saw him in a suit even when he came to church. 25:55 He wore bib overalls just about all the time. 25:58 And I said why in the world 26:00 would grandpa would they bury him 26:02 in a little cheap pair blue pajamas. 26:05 They said it was his request. I said why? 26:08 And they said, well, he knew quite a few people 26:11 would be coming to the funeral to see him 26:14 and they knew he was an Adventist 26:17 many of these folks are not. 26:19 And he said kids, if you bury me in a suit 26:22 it looks like I'm going somewhere 26:24 but if you bury me in my pajamas 26:26 it looks like I'm what? 26:28 Sleeping. 26:29 So he said I want to make a statement 26:31 even after I'm dead, he made a statement 26:34 that when you die you do what? 26:35 Sleep. You sleep till Jesus comes. 26:37 Hey, cloths can make a statement, can they? 26:44 So I'm making one today. 26:45 Now, anybody that sees me in the next few weeks 26:48 probably will see me with one of these on pretty 26:51 we have short sleeve and long sleeve, 26:53 they just come in a couple days ago. 26:54 It won't be the same one 26:56 and if it is we wash it in between so don't think 26:58 I'm wearing the same shirt every day. 27:00 We are getting several of them 27:01 so we can switch them out. 27:03 But when you travel on through the airports 27:05 or going to the stores 27:06 you're making a statement for Jesus. 27:08 Put them back where they belong, 27:09 the Ten Commandments. 27:10 We don't have a lot of time today 27:12 but I want to thank you for allowing me to come here. 27:14 We have a book that matches this. 27:16 This just come off the press Wednesday the first 100,000 27:19 or actually we've had request for about 27:21 three quarter million of them so far 27:24 and this is called the "Ten Commandments 27:26 Twice Removed." 27:27 It's actually abbreviated version of a book 27:31 that Shelly Quinn and I wrote last year 27:33 called the "Antichrist Agenda" 27:36 and we first named it-- I had named it 27:38 to "Ten Commandments Twice Removed." 27:40 Shelly came to 3ABN and I said 27:42 I want you to read the manuscript from this book. 27:44 She read it and said, 27:45 why would the Lord impress me to write a book just like that. 27:48 I've been impressed to write one, 27:49 Shelley came from a non-Adventist background. 27:52 She's a evangelical preacher 27:54 and she studied for a long time. 27:56 Her husband had been raised in Adventist 27:58 but I guess wasn't going to church 28:00 and as she was out preaching he said, 28:02 you might as well do with the Sabbath 28:03 because one of these days 28:05 you are going to run into some Adventist 28:06 and you are gonna have to explain. 28:08 And she said, well, I can, I can prove 28:10 the Sabbath was done away with. 28:12 That's not hard to do. 28:13 So I'm gonna do an in depth study 28:15 and after a long, long in depth study 28:17 guess what happened? 28:18 Shelley is a Sabbath keeper of course. 28:21 And so Shelley said but I wanted to write this book 28:24 and I said well, take mine and read it. 28:26 So she came back very honest lady. 28:28 I said what do you think? 28:29 She said well, I read the first chapter 28:31 I really think I could improve on it 28:32 just a little bit. 28:34 I said okay, take it and improve on it. 28:36 So she took it and I read it and said, 28:38 you know, what, that's so good 28:39 why don't you improve on all of it. 28:41 So she improved on the rest of it. 28:43 Thus we have a book, "The Antichrist Agenda" 28:45 and now the "Ten Commandments Twice Removed." 28:48 We have an opportunity to get this in some national stores. 28:53 There are 200 pages of the Antichrist Agenda 28:55 was a little bit too bit. 28:57 They only want something up 28:58 to a 128 pages so we abbreviated it. 29:01 But what a time to have a material 29:04 and this is after 20 years of people writing to 3ABN, 29:07 thousands of people writing asking questions 29:10 about the commandments 29:11 the old covenants the new covenants. 29:13 And then Shelley doing a tremendous study 29:14 on the old covenants the new covenants. 29:17 And so questions that people ask already 29:19 we are getting reports of people 29:21 giving their hearts to Jesus 29:22 and joining the Seventh-day Adventist church. 29:24 Methodist preachers, Baptist preachers 29:27 now keeping the Pentecostal preachers 29:29 now keeping the seventh day Sabbath 29:31 after reading this one book. 29:33 Well, I'm not here to just promote a book, 29:34 today I'm here to promote Jesus, is that all right? 29:37 I want you to turn in your Bibles 29:38 if you would for just a moment. 29:40 I will say I'm not a preacher nor son of a preacher 29:43 but God has given me a testimony 29:46 that I want to share Isaiah 60. 29:48 If you will turn to Isaiah 60 if I have to I'll put these on. 29:53 I'll try not to pride keeps me from it 29:56 but I haven't thought about getting bigger print Bible yet, 29:59 but I may do that. 30:00 Isaiah 60:1, it says 30:03 "Arise, shine for thy light is come, 30:06 and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 30:10 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, 30:12 and gross darkness the people but the Lord shall" what? 30:16 "Arise upon thee, 30:17 and his glory shall be seen upon thee." 30:20 How many want God's glory seen upon us? 30:21 Right. 30:23 He says, I, if I be lifted up from the earth 30:25 will draw how many men to me? 30:27 All men unto me. 30:28 Aren't you glad 30:29 that Jesus Christ is willing to work 30:32 through frail human agents like you and me today? 30:34 That just mind boggles me because I know myself, 30:38 you know yourself and so we are not-- 30:40 we have-- I tell people there's no reason 30:43 I should be upfront except by the grace of God. 30:45 No reason I should be standing 30:47 before you today except God love sinners 30:50 and He has given us all the work to do. 30:52 Can you say amen to that? Amen. 30:53 All right, that means you got to do something, right? 30:55 When you say amen to that one 30:57 that means you understand the great commission, 30:59 go ye, Matthew 287:18, 19 " 31:02 All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 31:05 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations." 31:07 Teaching them to observe 31:09 He says, whatsoever things I have commanded you. 31:11 What has he commanded us to do? 31:13 Keep the Ten Commandments, keep God's law 31:15 because God's Ten Commandment law 31:17 is a transcript of His what? 31:19 Character. 31:20 He says, now Isaiah 60, 31:22 "Arise and shine for thy light is come, 31:25 and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee." 31:29 Now the way we want to get the glory of the Lord 31:31 to rise on us or to be on us 31:33 is when we do something, when we represent Him. 31:35 I don't think personally we can just do nothing 31:38 and when God has said, go ye into all the world. 31:40 So the blessing 31:42 I've said many times before is on the go. 31:44 So when we get up and go do something for God 31:47 then God honors that and He blesses it. 31:50 What I want to talk to you about this morning 31:52 though is about a personal relationship 31:55 with the Lord Jesus Christ. 31:56 Keeping all the Ten Commandments 31:58 means nothing if we do it in the flesh. 31:59 Am I right? Amen. 32:01 Okay, couple people said, amen, all right. 32:03 If we keep, try to keep the Ten Commandments 32:06 in the flesh we will fail miserably. 32:07 Am I right? Amen. 32:09 We can't do anything the Bible says 32:11 I can do all things through Christ 32:12 which strengths me. 32:14 But in reverse to that I can do nothing 32:17 without Christ, you agree with that? 32:19 So what I'm gonna talk to you about for a few moments 32:21 as you are own personal relationship 32:23 with the Lord Jesus Christ. 32:25 This morning where are you in your relationship? 32:28 Does Jesus shine in you and through you? 32:30 Do you wake up in the morning 32:32 looking for something to do for God? 32:33 Do you pray God, let me be a vessel of honor? 32:36 Let me meet somebody today 32:38 that need to hear about You? 32:39 Now be careful when you pray those prayers 32:42 because people invariably will come in your paths. 32:44 I've had it over and over again from airplanes setting praying 32:48 that God would send somebody 32:50 to actually sometime saying Lord, 32:52 it would be okay to me today 32:54 if You don't let somebody I just to rest. 32:56 And then somebody come that I know very good, 32:59 well, I'm suppose to witness to. 33:01 I'd prayed with football player 33:02 and saw him accept Jesus on an airplane. 33:04 A wrestler 312 pound wrestler, professional wrestler 33:08 was not even supposed to be on that plane, 33:11 doesn't even-- he always rides first class 33:15 but I'm in the back. 33:16 I'm just towards the back and the economy row 22 33:21 and the plane was almost I won't tell the whole story 33:24 some of you have heard it. 33:25 But the plane was that probably only two thirds full 33:29 and we were just getting ready to shut the doors 33:31 and I said, all right, Lord, thank you 33:33 no one was sitting right beside me. 33:34 I said thank You that I'll be able to just take a little rest 33:37 because I need it today, I'm tired. 33:39 I'm getting ready to go work for you this weekend 33:42 but the Lord wanted me to do something for Him now. 33:44 I was tired so all of a sudden the lady said, 33:47 look, whatever seats is available right now 33:50 you can move if you want to 33:52 but another plane has mechanical problems 33:55 and so where its going to Boston with the same 33:59 as we were so we are gonna fill this plane up. 34:02 So people began to come in and I saw him 34:04 and I said well, somebody is gonna sit by me 34:06 and I really today I was just tired. 34:08 But its all right, we don't care. 34:09 So I saw people coming in. 34:10 Most people travel business suits, look nice, 34:13 towards the front of the plane 34:15 about 15 passengers towards the back 34:18 and one of the last ones to come in I saw this huge guy. 34:21 I mean, this guy was big 34:23 and later I had to nerve ask him he is 312 pounds 34:27 but you know, you can ask a wrestler 34:29 that you don't ask anybody else that 34:30 but if you are a professional wrestler. 34:32 But I didn't know it 34:33 but I saw this guy bleach blonde hair, 34:35 he had jewelry all over his neck 34:38 and his fingers and I saw him scars on his face 34:41 and I thought that guy looks like a hardly rider, 34:43 doesn't look like a business guy traveling today. 34:46 So I began to think what if he tries 34:49 to sit in this little economy seat next to me? 34:52 This isn't going to work, 34:53 so I found myself and people were coming by, 34:55 I'm like, you know, hoping that here's a seat available 34:59 jut wanting anybody to sit there 35:01 because nobody else was really as big as this guy and I said 35:04 this just won't work, there is no room. 35:06 I can't imagine how this will work. 35:09 They were going by me or sitting front of me. 35:11 Guess who sat by me. 35:13 Right, guy pulls up the arm and sits in 35:17 and when he does it just scoots me over. 35:19 Now he didn't offer to pay half of my seat ticket fair 35:22 because he took you know, half of my seat and all of his. 35:25 He didn't offer any that but he scooted me over. 35:28 Long story short before it was over 35:30 he was not in a good mood. 35:32 I found out later he is a professional wrestler, 35:34 rides first class but had to go to Boston, 35:36 they put him in economy, he shouldn't even been there. 35:39 He was very, very unfriendly but before we landed 35:43 we held hands mind you and prayed together 35:45 and he accepted Jesus his Lord and Savior. 35:48 And so God says, arise and shine. 35:55 When we have Jesus in us we can't help but shine. 35:58 Have you ever noticed that? 35:59 I see I meet certain people 36:01 and they have this just smile about Him it's like 36:03 wow, this person you just-- they are just over flowing 36:07 and I always know why and say they know Jesus. 36:09 You can tell when somebody really knows Jesus. 36:12 Now other times you can see Christians come to church 36:17 and they are like this. 36:19 Morning. Hello. 36:22 Look like they have been sucking on lemon. 36:24 Say, I stand up here 36:25 and I can see all of you well out there well, 36:27 you are all happy people here in Florida. 36:29 You should be its sun shining, beautiful weather 36:31 we just left a storm this morning. 36:33 Almost didn't make it. 36:34 We had just about call 36:36 I said there's no way we can make it. 36:38 Was hailing look like the size of marbles 36:41 this morning, really terrible weather 36:43 but there was a 15 minutes span that we were able to get out 36:47 and get here on time and I praise God for that. 36:49 Otherwise we had been stuck there 36:51 and couldn't been here with you all. 36:53 So when we, when we are committed to Jesus 36:57 I want to ask you to submit and commit your life to Jesus. 37:00 Say Lord, why am I here? 37:01 Have you ever thought about it really? 37:03 I believe now as Seventh-day Adventist Christians 37:06 if we don't stand up now we may never 37:10 and I actually believe for us to do nothing 37:13 could cost us our own salvation. 37:15 There are millions and millions of wonderful Christian people 37:18 that just don't know about the Ten Commandments. 37:21 Pastor Rick Odle assembly God minister 37:24 for many, many years 37:26 is now a Seventh-day Adventist to minister. 37:29 I met Rick back in high school. 37:31 Actually we went to school together. 37:33 He went off to the seminary 37:34 and assembly God became a pastor. 37:37 Came back to Southern Illinois 37:39 through my brother witness unto him 37:41 and me having an opportunity 37:42 and then I was putting them in master control. 37:44 You know what master control is. 37:46 Master control is where somebody, 37:48 you hire somebody to put in the tapes 37:50 of preachers all day long. 37:52 Now this is when we did it by hand 37:54 now we have machines. 37:55 Pastor Odle began to read 37:57 and he started singing some things 37:59 and he just couldn't-- said 38:01 I need to a sabbatical from my church 38:03 but he told me I'll never be an Adventist 38:05 but I do want to know some truth. 38:07 I want to study for awhile. 38:08 I said what you're gonna do for a living? 38:10 Well, I don't really know, he said, I never-- 38:12 I've been a pastor all my life. 38:14 He is in his 40s by this time been a pastor all my life. 38:17 And I said, well, I got a job for you out at 3ABN. 38:20 Television? I said, yeah. 38:22 He said, well, I don't know anything about television. 38:24 I said, I don't either but it works. 38:26 So he said well, I'll come out and look. 38:28 And so he came out 38:29 and I took him up to master control. 38:31 I said, first of all you'll like this. 38:33 Pastor, you just sit. Just kidding him. 38:35 Said, you sit in, you'll like this 38:38 and so I said here's what you do. 38:39 you put in a tape 38:40 and when you put this in for instance 38:42 back then you know, we had George Wanderman, 38:45 this has been ten years and so go 38:47 even had Joe Crews before he passed away. 38:49 And so I said, you put in these tapes 38:52 and you watch it make sure the color is right, 38:54 the audio is right then you put little promo in between. 38:57 The next-- the very next thing 39:00 I said, you put on the next program. 39:01 It's very important you listen closely 39:04 audio is got to be right, colors got to be just right 39:06 and you will do this for nine hours a day, 39:08 four days a week, four and half days a week. 39:11 So he said, let me think about it. 39:12 So he called me back said week later, 39:14 well, you know, I really like to do that 39:18 but I have a problem. 39:19 You see, I believe differently than you do. 39:22 What if I went there like 39:23 I believe in speaking in tongues, 39:24 I believe that when you die 39:25 you go straight to heaven and hell-- 39:28 heaven or hell and he said I don't believe in the Sabbath. 39:31 What if-- what if I putting in tapes 39:34 and preachers are preaching and I don't agree with them? 39:36 Said tell you what to do, pastor, 39:38 there is-- I said you take a pencil and paper 39:41 and anytime somebody is not telling the truth 39:43 you write it down, you show me 39:44 and we will take him off the air. 39:47 Am I right? Wouldn't-- shouldn't we? 39:50 I don't care who they are. 39:51 I don't care if Mark Finley if he is not telling the truth 39:53 should we take him off the air? 39:55 Do we have him on the air because he is Mark Finley 39:57 or because he represents God and he is telling the truth. 40:00 Of course we do. 40:01 So he said, you mean, 40:02 you would take off your big speakers in your church 40:05 just because I can show you they are wrong? 40:07 I said, well, absolutely we will do that. 40:10 And so, he said, well, I'll take the job. 40:14 He want to clean up 3ABN, right. 40:17 I'll take the job, he said. 40:19 So he comes to 3ABN watches programs 40:22 one after another, nine hours a day. 40:24 Finally after a few months 40:25 I don't bother him but I go in, 40:26 how are you doing, Pastor Odle? 40:28 You know, this isn't really fair, he said. 40:30 I'm sitting here now I have a minors 40:34 and majors in theology 40:35 but minors in Greek and Hebrew and history 40:37 but I'm sitting here 40:39 and I can't really fight these guys back 40:41 because I don't have my lexicon, 40:43 my strong's and all of these stuff. 40:45 How about if I take-- how about 40:46 if I take some of the stuff home with, 40:48 can I take some of these programs 40:50 and take them home with me? 40:51 I said, oh, that's good. 40:52 He worked nine hours shifts go home 40:54 and watch four hours of television again. 40:57 So after about a year or so one day I went in and I said 41:00 how are you doing, Pastor Odle? 41:01 He said, I'm tired. I said, what's wrong? 41:04 He said, I sit till midnight last night 41:06 fighting with that Joe Crews he said. 41:08 And I said, really. I said, what happened? 41:10 He said, see this black eye? 41:12 He said, I've had enough black eyes 41:14 I give up uncle, I want to join this church. 41:16 Can I become a Seventh-day Adventist? 41:21 He not only, not only joined the church 41:25 became a Seventh-day Adventist Christian 41:27 but he became the pastor 41:29 and he is a pastor now work for 3ABN for years 41:32 but after about two years or so of being in master control 41:36 I figured by that time he would be, 41:38 he should be ready for two work in pastoral ministries, right. 41:42 I mean, how many others even in the seminary 41:44 those of you that went, I never did 41:46 but how many of you studied 12 and 13 hours a day. 41:49 So we put him in there. 41:51 I walked in one day some of you 41:52 have heard this story before but forgive me. 41:55 So I walked downstairs one day to get a drink, 41:57 the young man was there at the fountain 42:00 and I said can I help you and he said, 42:02 well, I just read about this place 42:04 I moved to Benton recently a town close to where Rick was. 42:07 It's the next town over 42:08 where we live West Frankford about six miles away. 42:11 I moved here few months ago 42:13 and he said I worked in satellite, 42:14 I was in the navy and was in satellite. 42:16 I understand you have a satellite station. 42:19 I just wanted to look around. 42:20 I said, let me show you around. 42:21 So I started showing him around. 42:23 I said, are you interest of looking for work? 42:24 No, I've got a job. 42:26 I said, what do you do? He said, I'm a pastor. 42:28 I said, really, what denomination? 42:29 Assembly of God. 42:31 I said, that's in my mind 42:32 I said that' what Rick Odle was. 42:34 So I said, assembly of God, I said, all right. 42:36 I said some people in those churches 42:39 I said they have other jobs. 42:41 Well, I do, I do some mechanic work on the side. 42:43 Now, I said well, why don't you think about working for me? 42:46 Well, what I do? I said, let me show you. 42:47 I mean, take you upstairs. 42:49 So I said this is called master control, it's the MCO. 42:52 I said, what you do is you, 42:54 you know, where I'm going don't you. 42:57 You all know where I'm going. 42:58 So I said, it's master control. 43:00 I said, what you do is you put the tapes in, 43:02 you watch what they say, you listen carefully 43:04 and you really have to make sure 43:06 it looks good when it goes on the air. 43:07 You represent the whole network. 43:09 He said, I really like to do something like this 43:12 but let me pray about it, think about it. 43:14 Few days went by, called me, he said I've a problem. 43:16 I said what's that, pastor? 43:18 Well, he said, I went down to the book store 43:21 and I asked for books on Adventist 43:23 but he said they didn't have any 43:24 and finally they said they were in the cult section. 43:26 Now, I'm advising you all to go to your book stores 43:29 and if you find Christian book store 43:31 Adventist the cult section ask him to take them out 43:33 and put them where they belong, right. 43:35 So he said, I read about you 43:37 and we have several things we agree on, you agree, 43:39 his name is Greg, you agree that-- 43:42 we agree that were saved by grace 43:43 and all of that but, you know, 43:45 I believe in speaking in tongues, 43:46 I believe that when you die 43:48 that you go to heaven or hell right then. 43:51 He says, I don't really believe in the Sabbath 43:53 so I don't know if would feel comfortable sitting there 43:57 and putting on tapes and things I don't believe. 43:59 I said, tell you what you do. 44:00 There is a yellow pencil and paper there, 44:02 Rick Odle had a big yellow paper. 44:04 I said its big yellow pad there and a pencil, 44:07 you watch the programs and if you see something 44:09 that you don't agree with you write it down 44:12 and if somebody is not telling the truth 44:13 and you can show me 44:14 scripturally we'll take him off the air. 44:15 He said, you got to be kidding? 44:17 I said, no. 44:18 He said, you take the-- 44:19 if I can prove you that you are wrong 44:21 and what you are speakers are saying. 44:22 I said, yes, sir. He said, I'll take the job. 44:25 It is about two or three-- I said to him this. 44:28 Look, if you have any questions 44:30 write across the hall is pastoral department 44:32 there is a man named Rick Odle there 44:34 and you go talk to Rick and Rick will help you 44:37 and you know, he will take your questions 44:40 or you know, your advice to us or whatever it is, 44:43 he is gonna straighten this out. 44:44 So he said, I'll do that. 44:46 Six, eight, ten months go along 44:47 I didn't push him, didn't worry about it. 44:49 One day that we were in church and right at church service 44:53 they stood up for testimonies 44:55 and here come Greg and his wife and two children. 44:58 They never been to our church before, 45:00 stood up to testimony time 45:02 and said, you know, what when my wife and I moved here 45:05 from Colorado a year and half ago 45:08 we were praying that God would paganism out of our life. 45:11 We were praying that God would show us truth. 45:13 I had no idea that I would end up out at 3ABN. 45:17 I had no idea that I would be here today 45:19 in an Adventist church asking how can I be baptized 45:22 and join your church, all right? 45:29 We have another friend that we've been talking to. 45:31 He's assembly God minister. 45:33 I just talked to him last week and said, 45:35 look, I got a job for you, right. 45:37 And this guy he's already believes in the Sabbath 45:41 and what have you so, 45:42 you be praying is that goes along. 45:43 But what I'm saying to you, 45:44 you see, its time Jesus says to arise and shine 45:48 because really the glory of the Lord will be on us. 45:50 It's not like look at me, its look at Jesus. 45:54 You see look at to Jesus and me 45:55 because I can do nothing on my self 45:58 but when I see what-- why am I here 46:01 we need to be asking ourselves 46:02 why am I here in the closing moments of earth's history? 46:05 For hundred years we've been reading 46:06 about the end time prophecies and the national Sunday laws 46:09 and all of these things happening. 46:11 We've seen things and we want things to happen, 46:14 today they are happening. 46:15 So I have to speak loud and clear to everybody 46:18 that's watching around the world church 46:20 and around the world 46:21 there is a great event happening 46:23 and right now is a time 46:24 for God's people to rise and shine 46:27 and bring His law to the world 46:29 so that the world can see God's law. 46:32 Does this little book Ten Commandments 46:34 Twice Removed, 46:35 why did I name it Ten Commandments 46:37 Twice Removed? 46:38 I'm gonna give God the credit if its good, 46:39 if its not you can blame me 46:41 but the Ten Commandments Twice Removed 46:43 is my question to all the readers 46:46 reading this book is why are you so upset? 46:50 Did any of you see the Ten Commandments 46:52 and people as yards do they-- do they do that here in Florida 46:54 all over Southern Illinois after the judge Roy Moore case 46:57 they put Ten Commandments in yards everywhere. 47:00 And so all over this is happening. 47:02 So I ask the question why is the church, 47:07 not our church, 47:08 but why is the church Christian people in America 47:11 so upset because the Ten Commandments 47:14 are being taken out of government institutions 47:17 when the church took them out first? 47:19 Amen. Right? 47:20 The Christian church took them out first. 47:22 They are the ones that said they were nailed to the cross. 47:24 They can do that in order not to keep the fourth commandment 47:28 but they-- then when it comes 47:29 to the government taking them out 47:31 they suddenly they are not nailed to the cross. 47:33 Now you can't have it both ways, right? 47:35 My mom used to say you can't have your cake and eat it too. 47:38 So what I'm saying today, 47:39 what an opportunity for me and you 47:42 to rise and shine for God but all of this is feudal 47:45 unless we develop a personal relationship 47:47 with the Lord Jesus Christ. 47:48 So I'm gonna encourage you today 47:50 to ask Jesus to come into your heart. 47:52 I don't care where you've been, what you done. 47:54 For those of you watching from around the world. 47:56 I talked to somebody last night 47:58 again several times in the last couple weeks 48:01 a musician for a very, very famous 48:03 I guess one of the most famous singers 48:06 in country music today-- 48:09 one of our musicians has been calling me, 48:11 read the book Mending Broken People 48:13 written by Kay Kuzma and says I'm miserable, 48:16 I was actually raised in the Adventist church 48:18 and I left it for fame and fortune 48:20 and I have Grammies and I have all of this 48:22 and I travel to the world telling me 48:24 that princess and kings that he's met 48:26 but he said, this is all terrible. 48:28 I don't want it anymore 48:29 but I don't know how to be a Christian. 48:31 You see, all his knowledge from the past 48:34 won't help him in giving satisfaction, 48:36 only Jesus can satisfy the soul. 48:39 Now you and me the only difference in us today 48:42 he knows he is a sinner, he knows that he is lost, 48:45 he knows if he died today wouldn't go to heaven, 48:47 and we've been talking to him not pushing him 48:49 this is the Holy Spirit's job to do that. 48:51 But right now the difference between he and us is this. 48:56 You and me come to church, we look like Christians, 48:58 we dress like well, usually I'm in a, 49:01 I don't wear a tie so much but at least suit coat. 49:03 We dress like Christians, we look like Christians, 49:06 we act like Christians on the outside 49:08 but on the inside many of us are hiding things. 49:10 We are miserable, we are wretched, 49:12 we are poor and we are blind 49:14 but yet we put on a facade that God's church is alive 49:17 and well I don't want to tell you today. 49:19 When God's church really becomes alive 49:21 and well this world is gonna know about it. 49:23 This world is gonna know about it 49:25 that God's law is a transcript of His character 49:29 and we want to rightly represent that 49:31 and that's why I don't think we should turn our heads, 49:34 I don't think we should set back, 49:35 I think we should be on, 49:37 I think we should be on a spiritual warfare, 49:40 I think we should be the aggressors 49:41 going forward letting people know 49:44 that we believe and where we stand 49:46 as Seventh-day Adventist Christians. 49:48 And you see God has given us advantage through our prophet 49:53 that we know what's happening, 49:54 of course we have always without saying 49:57 we have the Bible, we have Daniel, Revelation, 49:59 but we understand what's happening 50:01 with the national Sunday law and how soon 50:04 that could be upon us is amazing. 50:06 I want everybody please the only way 50:08 that this is going to mean anything to you 50:10 is if you ask Jesus in your heart today 50:12 and say Lord, give me a new start. 50:13 Why am I here? 50:15 Someone told me a long time ago, 50:16 did you know that when Jesus was hanging on the cross 50:19 that you and me were on His mind. 50:21 Think about it, you and me were on his mind. 50:23 And today folks, I want to let you know 50:26 that is no accident that you are here. 50:28 No accident. 50:29 I don't care how old you are, how young you are, 50:31 it's time you arise and shine. 50:33 I want you to read this with me again 50:35 as we begin to close here and it's Isaiah 60, 50:39 "Arise, shine for thy light is come, 50:42 and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 50:44 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, 50:47 gross darkness the people" imagine that 50:49 it says gross darkness covers the people 50:52 "but the Lord shall arise upon thee, 50:55 and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 50:57 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, 50:59 and kings and to the brightness of thy rising. 51:02 Lift up thine eyes round about, 51:04 and see all" and it goes on and on. 51:06 Folks, this is the time we want the world to know, 51:10 its not about what day you keep it, 51:12 who am I gonna serve. 51:13 We know and this book tells you 51:15 and many other books you can get a hold of 51:17 where Sunday worship came from. 51:19 Most people don't know. 51:20 Pastor Rick Odle that I told you about a while ago 51:22 the reason I brought him up 51:23 and got on to this long story was because he said to me 51:27 after seven years in the seminary 51:30 no one ever told me about the Seventh-day Sabbath 51:33 and so when I read it, it meant nothing to me. 51:35 It just went over my head 51:37 and till it was brought to light 51:39 by your speakers on 3ABN 51:41 then I began to understand it. 51:42 You see folks, we are responsible 51:45 and God is holding us responsible 51:47 I believe to spread the light to a lost 51:50 and to the dying world. 51:51 I'm gonna ask you to get involved, 51:52 I'm gonna ask you to give your heart to Jesus today. 51:55 I'm gonna ask you wherever you are watching 51:57 from around the world whether you are here 51:58 to say Lord, I know that I'm a sinner 52:02 but You said that if I confess my sins 52:03 that-- you're faithful 52:04 and just to forgive me from my sins 52:07 and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. 52:09 Today folks, we need to do that. 52:11 We need to submit and commit our lives to Jesus 52:13 and say God, 52:14 help me to be a vessel of honor worthy to go out 52:17 and rightly represent You to the world. 52:19 And once we catch the vision of Jesus 52:22 and Him crucified we're not gonna be 52:24 able to sit on our seats anymore. 52:25 Our feet's gonna be-- somebody said, 52:27 how do I know when I'm called into ministry of young people? 52:30 I said, when your feet began to itch, 52:32 you begin to burn 52:34 and nothing satisfies until you get up 52:36 and you start marching on the battle front for Jesus. 52:39 I want to encourage you today 52:40 to ask Jesus make Him Lord of your life 52:43 and just say God, come into my life, 52:45 forgive me for my sins and now go and tell. 52:48 The greatest asset that you have folks, 52:50 is your own personal testimony of what Jesus has done for you. 52:54 That's all it is. Its come and go. 52:56 Come to the foot of the cross, 52:57 go and tell what Jesus has done for you. 53:00 Its my prayer that as we join hands together 53:04 that we can literally 53:05 the earth will be lighten with the glory of God 53:07 and Jesus will come back very soon. 53:09 Amen. 53:32 Last night I lay a-sleeping 53:36 There came a dream so fair 53:39 I stood in old Jerusalem 53:43 Beside the temple there 53:47 I heard the children singing 53:51 And ever as they sang 53:55 Methought the voice of angels 53:58 From heaven in answer rang 54:02 Methought the voice of angels 54:09 From heaven in answer rang 54:16 Jerusalem!
