05:16 And if you don't, you get to know Tammy now 05:19 and Tammy has been singing 05:20 ever since she was a little girl. 05:21 She always loved to sing 05:23 and so she's just done a brand new CD, 05:26 it's just finished up. 05:27 And when do you finish it? 05:29 Well, we've not actually done the final mastering of it, 05:33 it'll be a few more weeks, 05:35 but we do have a pre-release 05:36 in our 3ABN bookstore with four songs on it. 05:38 Good. 05:40 Are you gonna be doing one of the songs tonight? 05:41 Yes. 05:43 And that was done right here at our own sound center, right? 05:44 Yes. 05:45 Amazing sound center, amazing producer E.T. 05:47 Did E.T, help you? 05:48 E.T, yeah, she's an amazing producer. 05:50 Yeah, she did a great job and all the musicians 05:52 and the backup singers. 05:54 It was a privilege to be able to be over there and to do it 05:59 and to have that kind of time technology. 06:00 I told E.T, our dad 06:02 who had his little Sony reel to reel tape recorder 06:05 in his little radio shack mics, 06:06 he wouldn't be able to comprehend 06:08 the technology that she used in... 06:09 That he would have liked it, wouldn't he? 06:11 He would have loved it. 06:12 All right, okay, thank you Tammy. 06:13 The song that I'm going to do 06:15 is called "Outside These Walls." 06:18 And I think it has a message 06:22 like no other song that I've ever heard 06:26 because it talks about outside the walls of the church 06:31 where the people are the hurting people. 06:34 If we can't show love and Christianity to them, 06:37 what good is coming to church every week 06:39 and sitting in the pews going to do us. 06:42 If we can't be kind and loving 06:44 and give our fellow man what they need. 06:47 Sometimes they just need to know that somebody cares. 06:51 Sometimes they need to know about Jesus' love, 06:54 sometimes they need a helping hand, 06:56 maybe financial or maybe they're hungry 06:59 and when we love and take care 07:02 of those people outside the walls, 07:04 then we're showing our love for Jesus. 07:27 Within these walls 07:32 We join our hearts 07:36 We come together 07:40 To be set apart 07:44 But worshipping each service 07:49 Is just a waste of time 07:53 If we can't face everyday 07:57 The dying world outside 08:03 Do the crying know we care? 08:08 And do the lonely find us there? 08:12 Are we so involved 08:15 We do not hear them call? 08:21 Everywhere men are searching 08:25 And wondering why they're hurting 08:30 Do they feel the love of Jesus at all 08:37 Outside these walls? 08:47 Within our hearts 08:51 He's planted a seed 08:56 A love we can count on 09:00 Through all that we need 09:04 But safe in our seclusion 09:09 How can we know 09:13 That outside these walls 09:17 Are seeds we need to sow? 09:23 Do the crying know we care? 09:28 And do the lonely find us there? 09:32 Are we so involved 09:35 We do not hear them call? 09:41 Everywhere men are searching 09:45 And wondering why they're hurting 09:50 Do they feel the love of Jesus at all 09:57 Outside these walls? 10:03 And, Lord, through my love 10:07 Please let others see 10:12 Your love reflected 10:15 Through us perfectly 10:24 And let the crying know we care 10:28 And let the lonely find us there 10:33 Don't be so involved 10:35 You do not hear them call? 10:41 Everywhere men are searching 10:46 And wondering why they're hurting 10:50 Do they feel the love of Jesus at all 11:00 Outside these walls? 11:27 Amen. 11:38 We're told that if we would spend 11:40 a little time every day 11:42 contemplating the final hours of Christ's life, 11:46 that it would change us forever. 11:48 I know that's true in my own life. 11:51 And I want you just for a few minutes 11:52 to go with me right now. 11:54 You can close your eyes, do whatever you need to, 11:56 and try to imagine what it was like 11:59 when Christ was going to the cross for you. 12:02 Imagine what he heard, 12:04 what he saw, what he tasted, 12:08 and most importantly what he thought about. 12:24 The look on Judas' face 12:29 The torches set ablaze 12:34 The weapons drawn and raised 12:38 The chill of night 12:42 The friends who fled in fear 12:46 The sound of Peter's tears 12:50 The way the people cheered "crucify" 13:00 A nightmare coming true before your eyes 13:08 What was it that was going through your mind? 13:18 You thought of us 13:22 Every one of us 13:26 And all your love for us caused you to stay 13:34 You could have spared your life 13:38 And still had paradise 13:42 But even when the pain we put You through 13:48 Became too much 13:53 You thought of us 14:09 The friends who fled in fear 14:13 The sound of Peter's tears 14:16 The way the people cheered, "crucify" 14:23 The needles running red 14:27 The nails, the fight for breathe 14:32 The gaping door of death 14:36 We often taste 14:40 You raged against the silence in the sky 14:47 But when you asked for God 14:50 To tell you why 14:58 You thought of us 15:02 Every one of us 15:06 And all your love for us 15:09 Caused you to stay 15:12 You could have spared your life 15:17 And still had paradise 15:20 But even when the pain we put you through 15:25 Became too much 15:28 You thought of us 15:32 And on that Sunday bright 15:35 So full of love and life 15:39 With angels left and right 15:43 To take you home 15:46 But first, you had to find someone 15:50 To share the joy in you 15:55 And who on earth should be the first 15:59 To hear the news? 16:06 You thought of us 16:14 And all your love for us caused you to stay 16:21 We were the very ones 16:25 Who turned away Your love 16:29 But even when the pain we put you through 16:34 Became too much 16:40 You thought of us 16:47 You thought of us 17:12 Thank you, Jennifer. 17:15 Once again, it's my privilege 17:17 to introduce a friend and a brother, 17:19 Pastor Wintley Phipps, President of Dream Academy, 17:22 also World of Praise Network. 17:24 God bless you for what you're doing. 17:26 We love you. Thank you, God bless you. 17:37 I want to do a real happy Negro spiritual. 17:40 Is that all right? 17:41 Listen to the message in the song. 17:43 I hope you're blessed. 17:58 I'm gonna lay down my burden 18:03 Down by the riverside 18:06 Down by the riverside 18:09 Down by the riverside 18:11 I'm gonna lay down my burden 18:15 Down by the riverside 18:17 I'm gonna study war no more 18:23 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 18:26 Ain't gonna study war no more 18:29 Ain't gonna study war no more 18:35 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 18:38 Ain't gonna study war no more 18:41 Ain't gonna study war no more 18:48 I'm gonna lay down my sword and shield 18:52 Down by the riverside 18:55 Down by the riverside 18:58 Down by the riverside 19:00 I'm gonna lay down my sword and shield 19:04 Down by the riverside 19:07 Gonna study war no more 19:12 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 19:15 Ain't gonna study war no more 19:18 Ain't gonna study war no more 19:24 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 19:28 Ain't gonna study war no more 19:31 Ain't gonna study war no more 19:37 I'm gonna put on my long white robe 19:41 Down by the riverside 19:44 Down by the riverside 19:47 Down by the riverside 19:50 I'm gonna put on my long white robe 19:53 Down by the riverside 19:56 Ain't gonna study war no more 20:02 I'm gonna put on my starry crown 20:06 Down by the riverside 20:09 Down by the riverside 20:12 Down by the riverside 20:14 I'm gonna put on my starry crown 20:18 Down by the riverside 20:20 Gonna study war no more 20:26 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 20:29 Ain't gonna study war no more 20:32 Ain't gonna study war no more 20:38 Well, I ain't gonna study war no more 20:42 Ain't gonna study war no more 20:45 Ain't gonna study war 20:48 Ain't gonna study war Ain't gonna study war no more 21:12 Praise God. 21:15 Praise the Lord. 21:17 Will you bow your head with me as we praise Him today. 21:19 Father, we thank You that when we got down 21:24 to the riverside to be baptized, 21:27 we became new creatures 21:30 and we don't study war no more. 21:33 I ask that You'll bless us as we open Your Word. 21:36 Cleanse me of all unrighteousness, Lord. 21:39 Fill me with Your Holy Spirit's presence. 21:41 Speak to me through me and for me. 21:44 And I promise You, Lord, 21:46 I'll always give You the honor, 21:48 the glory and all the praise. 21:51 In Jesus' name I pray. 21:54 Amen. Amen. 21:58 Oh, I love happy in the Lord. 22:02 I said I love happy in the Lord. 22:04 Amen. 22:05 You know, the Lord says 22:07 that there is joy 22:11 in the presence of God. 22:14 And I tell people, 22:16 that joy is the absence. 22:23 When you come out of joy, 22:25 you have the absence of the presence of God, 22:29 because in His presence is what? 22:35 Fullness. 22:37 Hallelujah. 22:38 Oh, joy. 22:40 I wanna draw your attention to a text of Scripture 22:45 that I will be speaking from today. 22:50 It's found in the Book of Joshua. 22:54 The Book of Joshua, 22:57 Chapter 4, God is an awesome God. 23:03 I love the Lord, do you? 23:04 Amen. 23:07 And in verse 4, 23:12 can you read that first sentence? 23:14 What does it say? 23:18 Then Joshua what? 23:21 Called the 12 men 23:25 whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, 23:29 out of every tribe a man 23:32 and Joshua said unto them, 23:35 pass over before the ark of the Lord your God 23:39 into the midst of Jordan, 23:42 take you up every man of you, 23:45 a stone upon his shoulder according unto the number 23:50 of the tribes of the children of Israel." 23:53 Look at verse 6, 23:54 "That this may be a sign among you, 23:57 that when your children ask their fathers in time 24:00 to come saying, 24:02 'What mean ye, by these stones?'" 24:08 And then verse 7, 24:10 "Then ye shall answer them, 24:13 that the waters of Jordan were cut off 24:16 before the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, 24:20 when it passed over Jordan, 24:22 the waters of Jordan were cut off, 24:25 and these stones shall be for a memorial 24:31 unto the children of Israel forever." 24:38 My message today 24:41 what mean the stones? 24:47 The day the children of Israel 24:48 had prayed for, had finally arrived. 24:52 The time had come for them 24:54 to cross over into the Promised Land. 24:59 They gathered at the banks of the Jordan 25:02 with Canaan in their view. 25:05 But between God's people and Canaan, 25:09 lay an impenetrable wall of water. 25:13 The melting snow upon the mountains 25:16 that so raised the level of the river 25:20 that's so swollen in places, it overflowed its banks. 25:26 This wall of water 25:28 seemed completely insurmountable. 25:34 Joshua set out the scouts 25:36 who looked everywhere along the river's edge 25:39 for a shallow place to cross. 25:42 To this, to their dismay, there was none. 25:47 That day, 25:48 the mighty Jordan seemed impassable. 25:54 That day, all who were in leadership knew 25:59 that without the help and intervention of God, 26:03 the children of Israel 26:05 would not be able to crossover. 26:08 You know, in life, 26:11 if it hasn't come to you, yet, it will. 26:15 There come those moments, 26:17 when you see nothing ahead, but impending disaster, 26:23 days when you know without the help of God, 26:27 you will never make it. 26:30 I remember very early in my marriage. 26:34 Praise God, 26:35 I have been married for 30 years. 26:38 But I remember early in our marriage, 26:40 I was married only a few months 26:42 when I began to feel overwhelmed 26:45 by the mounting responsibilities before me. 26:49 I realized I was a husband with a wife 26:55 and I was making $440 a month. 27:03 That'll put the fear of God in you. 27:08 And so one day I gave my wife a card. 27:12 On the outside of the card it said, 27:14 "Honey, it's me and you against the world." 27:19 And on the inside of the card when you open it, it said, 27:22 "And by the looks of things, 27:24 I think we're going to get creamed." 27:30 With disaster looming ahead, 27:32 Joshua made a simple and straightforward command. 27:38 Put away your sins. 27:43 Sanctify yourselves. 27:46 For tomorrow, 27:47 the Lord will do wonders among us. 27:51 This was Joshua's message. 27:55 Put away your sins. 27:57 Sanctify yourself. 28:01 For tomorrow, we will crossover. 28:05 And early the next morning, with the sound of the Shofar, 28:09 with a shot of triumph, 28:11 with Joshua leading the procession, 28:14 the ark, the priest and people 28:17 began moving towards the bank, 28:20 directly towards the treacherous waters 28:23 of the River Jordan. 28:25 Had they found a reasonable way to go forward? 28:29 No. 28:30 Had they devised a logical, coherent plan 28:35 to cross over the high waters of the Jordan? 28:38 No. 28:39 Was the water still high and impassable? 28:42 You betcha. 28:44 Absolutely. 28:46 And yet still, 28:47 Joshua's command was go forward. 28:51 Now today, brothers and sisters, 28:54 military strategists 28:56 love to give their military maneuvers names. 29:00 Names like Operation Desert Storm 29:03 and Operation Overlord. 29:06 And if you ask Joshua that day, what his strategy was called. 29:09 He probably would have said 29:11 operation just get in the water. 29:16 You see, God's people 29:18 had no ships, no pontoons, 29:23 no waterborne vessels to transport 29:27 an entire nation across the river. 29:29 And yet Joshua's command was go forward. 29:33 I don't know about you. 29:35 But walking into the path of a raging river 29:39 does not sound like a winning strategy to me. 29:44 Doesn't sound like a victory strategy to me. 29:48 To the casual onlooker, 29:50 Joshua's command sounded more like a suicide mission, 29:56 more like a suicide mission than an act of faith. 30:00 But when Joshua said, let us cross over, 30:02 I want you to know a strange thing happened. 30:06 Suddenly, by faith, 30:09 God's people began marching steadily 30:12 toward the angry surging stream. 30:16 And as they advanced, suddenly, with the rush of a mighty wind, 30:20 it looked as though an invisible hand swept down 30:25 from the sky, 30:26 and began to roll back the waters of the Jordan, 30:30 like it was rolling back the covers off of your bed. 30:35 This was the miracle Israel had prayed for. 30:39 That day you see on their behalf, 30:42 God invoked the spectacular. 30:47 They had heard of how he had done it 30:49 for their forefathers, 30:51 when they were leaving Egypt to slaves. 30:54 It had been rehearsed to them in every Sabbath school, 30:57 they used to have Sabbath school back then, 30:59 you know. 31:00 They heard how God with the breath of His nostrils 31:04 cleave for His people a road through the sea 31:08 and now here it was, 31:10 He was doing it again. 31:12 I hope you can see this with me, 31:14 it ought to get you excited. 31:17 The priests carrying the ark, 31:20 advancing to the middle of the channel, 31:23 and they stood there 31:24 in the middle of the river Jordan, 31:27 talk about courage and waited 31:30 for the entire nation of Israel 31:33 to cross over to the other side. 31:36 Men and women and children, and their flocks and herds, 31:41 and a host of homemade wagons, 31:44 crossed over Jordan with praise and singing that day. 31:49 Friends, while the priest stood 31:52 with the ark in the middle of the Jordan, 31:54 Joshua gave another unusual command. 31:59 He commanded that 12 men chosen from each tribe 32:05 to take up a stone from the riverbed 32:08 and to carry it over 32:10 to the western side of the Jordan. 32:13 That day, Joshua commanded 32:17 that with those stones taken out of the Jordan, 32:21 that a monument be erected 32:24 to the power, proficiency 32:27 of their incomparable God. 32:30 Hallelujah. 32:32 I hope you know that you serve an incomparable God. 32:38 That means that no one compares to Him. 32:42 That means He can be compared to no one. 32:45 I hope you know that it is He alone 32:48 who with His own finger 32:50 traced the boundaries of the cosmos. 32:53 I hope that you know that it is He alone 32:55 with His hand who guides the stars 32:59 in that courses above. 33:01 I hope you know that it is He alone 33:03 who promenade through the universe 33:05 like a watchman on duty. 33:07 I hope that you know that it is He alone 33:10 who strolls through the stars 33:12 with the moon as His night light. 33:14 You serve an incomparable God. 33:17 It is He who measured the breadth of the earth 33:21 and called each star by name. 33:23 You serve an awesome and incomparable God. 33:27 That day on the banks of the River Jordan, 33:29 Joshua commanded that a monument be built 33:34 to the glory of God. 33:36 You see, Joshua knew that for many generations to come, 33:40 a number of inquisitive men and women and children 33:44 would come down to the Jordan 33:46 and as they stood there gazing upon that monument, 33:51 that shrine of majestic granite 33:54 that was taken from the bed of the river. 33:57 He knew that for generations, people would feel compelled 34:01 and even constrained to ask the question 34:05 that is found in our Scripture today. 34:10 What mean these stones? 34:14 What mean these stones? 34:18 And when they said and asked about that Joshua said, 34:23 and let's read what Joshua said. 34:26 Chapter 4 verse 21. 34:28 "And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, 34:31 when your children shall ask their fathers 34:35 in time to come, 34:37 saying, what mean these stones? 34:41 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, 34:45 Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. 34:51 For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan 34:55 from before you until ye were passed over, 34:59 as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, 35:03 which he dried up from before us, 35:04 until we were gone over." 35:07 And verse 24, why? 35:09 "That all the people of the earth 35:12 might know the hand of the Lord, 35:16 that it is mighty, 35:18 that ye fear the Lord your God forever." 35:22 So Joshua, when the people asked, 35:26 what mean these stones? 35:29 You tell them that 35:31 when the Shekinah Glory approached the river's edge, 35:35 every molecule and drop of water 35:38 in the river Jordan stood at attention. 35:43 When they asked, "What mean these stones?" 35:46 You tell them that when the glory of God 35:48 approached the river, 35:50 that every wave saluted, 35:52 every swollen billow stood aside, 35:55 as the King of glory 35:57 led His people across the Jordan 36:00 on the dry land. 36:02 When your children asked their fathers 36:04 in time to come, "What mean these stones?" 36:07 Tell them that it was here 36:09 that when the priests and the ark 36:11 had come up out of the River Jordan, 36:14 that the wall of water 36:15 that stood at attention suddenly collapsed, 36:19 and the river turned again in to its normal channels. 36:22 When your children ask, "What mean these stones?" 36:27 Let the children know that as long as God's glory 36:31 was in the Jordan with us, 36:33 no disaster came to God's people. 36:36 You tell them that as long as God's glory 36:39 was in the Jordan with us, no catastrophe seemed imminent. 36:45 Hallelujah. 36:47 No calamity overtook us. 36:50 When your children asked, "What mean these stones?" 36:53 Tell them that as long as God's glory 36:57 was in the water with us, we were safe. 37:05 I am learning in my life that all the water in the world 37:10 can't bury you as long as the glory of God is with you. 37:15 I'm learning that even if people hate you, 37:20 when the glory of God is with you, 37:26 nothing can take you down. 37:30 Praise His holy name. 37:33 God taught me a long time ago that people feed pigeons, 37:38 but they shoot at eagles. 37:41 But if God before you, 37:45 who can stand against you? 37:47 I came here today 37:50 really with one message in my heart. 37:54 I came here to praise the Lord 37:57 for the miracles He has wrought 38:00 through the ministry of 3ABN. 38:04 That's what I came here to say to you. 38:06 I came here today to celebrate and thank God 38:11 for the miracles He has done through this ministry. 38:16 You see, 3ABN has come through its own Jordan. 38:24 Jordan, with waves of doubt, 38:28 and skepticism, have mercy Jesus. 38:33 I came here today to thank God for His gracious mercies, 38:38 we do not deserve His grace. 38:41 But I'm grateful that He remembers 38:44 that we are but does. 38:46 Hallelujah. 38:48 Someone said, "Look, look, if you find a perfect church, 38:52 don't join it, you'll spoil it." 38:59 Twenty years ago, more than 20 years ago, 39:02 Danny and a small group of supporters 39:05 believed that God was saying to them, 39:08 "Go forward, sanctify yourself and go forward." 39:14 And they came through waves of doubt 39:16 with great faith, that great sacrifice. 39:19 Supporters invested in the erection 39:22 and stabilizing of this ministry 39:25 and now today, this ministry stands 39:28 as a great memorial for God. 39:31 This ministry is a monument to the grace of God. 39:35 It is a monument to the faith of the laity. 39:39 Yeah, you're not listening to me today. 39:41 It is a monument to the faith of common people. 39:47 This ministry was not begun by any high executive. 39:52 Sorry, Danny. 40:00 You look at this building in which we worship tonight. 40:03 It's more than just a roof and some nice walls. 40:08 All these television stations around the country, 40:13 millions of people having an opportunity 40:16 to hear the gospel being preached, 40:18 broadcasting equipment, state of the art, 40:22 all around the globe people are listening to God's Word 40:26 being preached right now. 40:30 And should time last, and our Lord delay His coming, 40:35 succeeding generations will ask 40:39 "What mean these stones? 40:44 What mean these stones?" 40:47 And we want somebody to tell them that it was here 40:51 that a handful of God's people marched by faith 40:55 into the waters of the unknown. 41:01 I want somebody to tell them that it was here 41:05 that God did a mighty miracle for His people. 41:08 Should time last, 41:10 should there be some who asked the question, 41:13 "What mean these stones?" 41:15 Don't you be shy to tell them this was God's doing. 41:20 Don't you be shy to tell them that this was God's miracle, 41:24 He raised this up, 41:26 tell them how God blinded the eyes of enemies 41:31 so before they even knew what had happened, 41:35 God had already raised it up. 41:38 What mean these stones? 41:40 These stones mean that 41:41 with God, all things are possible. 41:45 These stones mean that as long as you trust in God, 41:49 no future is too grand for you to claim it. 41:54 Oh, you didn't hear what I just said. 41:56 When you trust God, 41:58 no future is too grand for you to claim it. 42:02 I love it when people say to me, 42:04 "That'll never happen." 42:07 I just love it when people say to me, 42:10 "That'll never happen." 42:12 I think of that old black gardener 42:15 down in Louisiana 42:16 who his boss called him aside one day and said, 42:21 "I heard your preacher is down there in your church 42:26 preaching about civil rights." 42:29 And that old gardener said "Yes, sir." 42:33 He said but I want, his boss said to him, 42:35 but I want to tell you, 42:36 you will never get your civil rights. 42:40 And that gardener said 42:43 "Yes, sir, but suppose God say something. 42:51 Suppose God say something? 42:54 What mean these stones? 42:56 They mean that our God 42:57 is a God of advancement and not retreat. 43:00 They mean that our God 43:02 is a God of victory and not defeat. 43:04 They mean that God's people 43:06 when they have no money, Jehovah Jireh. 43:12 What mean these stones? 43:13 They mean that our God finds delight 43:16 when His children progress. 43:17 They mean that God will do great things 43:20 when His children by faith 43:23 reach for blessings that are beyond their grasp. 43:28 Oh, you didn't hear what I just said. 43:30 When you reach for blessings that are beyond your grasp. 43:34 What mean these stones? 43:36 I tell people when they say to me, 43:38 "That'll never happen." 43:39 I say, "Suppose God say something." 43:43 They mean that God will reward our faith 43:46 when we pursue the impossible. 43:48 They mean that with God, the incredible is possible. 43:54 Oh, you didn't hear me today. 43:56 With God, the improbable is conceivable, 44:00 the unlikely is attainable. 44:02 These stones mean that God has given us the faith 44:07 to transcend the present realities 44:10 of our difficult experiences. 44:14 They mean that the mighty power of hope 44:17 will always triumph over the sum total of our despair. 44:21 That same hope that carried God's people 44:24 from Eden to Moriah, 44:26 that same hope that carried God's people 44:29 from Moriah to Mount Sinai, 44:32 that same hope that carried God's people 44:34 from Mount Sinai to Calvary, 44:36 that same hope, tell them, 44:39 "It lives on at 3ABN." 44:42 What mean these stones? 44:44 They mean that, there lives in this universe 44:47 a remnant of the remnant. 44:50 And they intend to press forward 44:53 to the mark of the prize 44:55 of their high calling in Jesus Christ. 44:58 You see, some of us realize 45:00 that we are no longer young chickens anymore. 45:05 I may look like I'm still there, 45:07 but I'm not there anymore. 45:10 I discovered I'll never forget the moment I discovered 45:13 that they made a post in the middle of the vehicle 45:17 that I could use when I'm getting out, 45:19 just lean on it a little bit. 45:22 It'll help you stand up, you know? 45:25 We realize we don't run like young chickens anymore, 45:29 we don't cluck, 45:30 it takes a whole lot of effort for us 45:31 to do the same things we did years ago. 45:36 Come on, say amen. 45:40 Amen. 45:43 You may not know that when I'm singing 45:44 I'm using muscles I never knew existed now. 45:49 Years ago there was some things you could do 45:51 and you could just keep on stepping 45:53 but now you gotta rest awhile. 45:58 But no matter how old we get, 46:00 we know that before us 46:02 lies extraordinary prodigious victories 46:06 that God wants us to attain. 46:09 There are still battles God wants us to win, 46:12 no matter how old you get, 46:13 and you're never too old to trust Him. 46:17 Somebody say amen. 46:19 You're never too old to trust Him. 46:21 No matter how old you get, 46:23 there are heights yet to be scaled, 46:25 difficulties to be conquered, 46:27 there are battles to be won. 46:29 No matter how old you get, 46:31 you can't sit on your spiritual laurels. 46:35 Amen. 46:36 You can't kick back and enjoy the attainments 46:39 of those who've gone on before for this ministry. 46:43 I want you to know for 3ABN, 46:45 there are hills yet to conquer. 46:49 But suppose God say so. 46:53 There are valleys to pass through, 46:56 suppose God say so. 46:58 I want you to know, like every other ministry, 47:00 this ministry will have its own Jordans to cross. 47:06 But when they say, what mean these stones? 47:10 You can say that it means that our God is faithful, 47:14 His promises are true. 47:16 They mean that we can... 47:17 The God we serve knows no limitations 47:20 but our own faith. 47:22 They mean that He is the same yesterday, 47:25 today and forever. 47:27 They mean that when we are troubled 47:28 on every side, we are not distressed. 47:32 Hallelujah. 47:34 We may be persecuted, but not forsaken. 47:39 We may be cast down, but we're not destroyed. 47:44 'Cause suppose God say so. 47:45 They mean that, 47:47 despite all evidences to the contrary, 47:49 God's purposes cannot be thwarted 47:52 nor His plans be defeated. 47:55 I love standing on the Word of God. 47:59 Reminds me of that old lady in San Francisco 48:02 after the huge earthquake, 48:05 they were interviewing her and said, 48:06 "What did you think about the earthquake?" 48:08 And she said, "Oh, I'm just so glad to know 48:11 that I still serve a God who can shake this world." 48:20 3ABN has been blessed 48:25 by a God 48:27 who can still shake this world. 48:31 They mean that all opposition, difficulty, 48:36 God can handle it. 48:38 They mean that when others thought 48:40 we were getting too big for our breeches, 48:46 when others thought that 48:47 we were biting off more than we could chew, 48:51 then a remnant of the remnant still believed 48:55 that this last day message would circle this globe. 49:00 It means that right here in this cornfield, 49:05 a remnant of believers trusted God 49:09 to supply every need. 49:12 What mean these stones? 49:13 They mean that God's ability 49:15 to do great things is immeasurable. 49:19 What mean these stones? 49:20 They mean that God is willing to do for us 49:23 above and beyond what we can ask or think. 49:28 What mean these stones? 49:29 They mean that the ability of our God 49:31 is beyond our every prayer. 49:34 What mean these stones? 49:36 They mean that God knows the number of our prayers 49:39 that have ascended on behalf of this ministry 49:43 He has blessed them and will continue. 49:45 And maybe you'll send up a few prayers yourself, 49:50 maybe you've sent up a petition 49:53 and express mail it to the throne of God. 49:57 Sometimes we don't want things to go ground 50:00 when we're praying to God, we want it there now. 50:04 And I want to share with you a promise 50:09 from my favorite author's writings 50:12 that I hold with me, I carry it with me, 50:17 Desire of Ages, page 300, 50:20 "From the soul 50:23 that feels his need of God, 50:27 nothing is withheld." 50:34 From the soul... 50:38 I'm talking to 3ABN supporters and listeners. 50:43 "From the soul 50:46 that feels his need of God 50:51 nothing is withheld. 50:56 To that soul is given 51:00 unrestricted access 51:06 to the one in whom all fullness dwells." 51:12 So those of you who are listening today 51:15 your passport into the presence of God 51:20 is your need of Him and as long... 51:25 Are you listening to me? 51:27 As long as this ministry 51:31 feels their need of God, 51:36 we will have unrestricted access 51:41 to the presence of God. 51:49 So no matter what happens, 51:54 I'm so encouraged because I know that 51:56 because of this ministry thousands have asked 51:59 for deliverance and received it. 52:04 I want to share a song with you as I close. 52:08 It says praise His name, 52:11 listen to the message. 52:14 Praise His Holy name. 52:16 Hallelujah. Hallelujah. 52:28 My heart can sing 52:32 When I pause to remember 52:38 A heartache here 52:42 Is but a stepping stone 52:48 Along a trail 52:53 That's winding always upwards 52:59 This troubled world 53:03 Is not my final home 53:09 But until then 53:13 My heart will go on singing 53:20 Until then 53:23 With joy I'll carry on 53:30 Until the day 53:34 My eyes behold that city 53:41 Until the day 53:44 God calls me home 53:57 The things of earth 54:01 Will dim and lose their value 54:08 As we recall 54:11 They're borrowed for awhile 54:18 And things of earth 54:22 That cause the heart to tremble 54:28 Remembered there 54:33 Will only bring a smile 54:39 This weary world 54:43 With all its toil and struggle 54:49 May take its toll 54:53 Of misery and strife 54:59 The spirit of man 55:04 Is like a waiting falcon 55:10 When it's released, 55:14 It's destined for the sky 55:21 But until then 55:25 My heart will go on singing 55:32 Until then 55:35 With joy let's carry on 55:42 Until the day 55:46 Our eyes behold King Jesus 55:52 Until the day 55:56 God calls me home 56:07 Until the day 56:12 God calls me home 56:27 God calls me home |
