01:00 Hello, and welcome to 3ABN on the road.
01:02 We're here to Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church, 01:06 in Chicago Illinois. 01:07 And I tell you what, 01:09 we've been having a great time, 01:10 how about a church last night and today? 01:12 All right, these are, these are happy excited 01:16 Christian folk and that's I can't tell you 01:19 how much I enjoyed coming to a church 01:21 where people are happy and excited. 01:24 And they love sharing about Jesus 01:26 and hearing about Jesus and you all are great 01:28 to work with and fellowship with, 01:29 and thank you for the great lunch. 01:31 And those of you who provided that lunch for us, 01:34 it was wonderful, thank you. 01:37 For those of you at home thank you 01:39 for joining us from around the world. 01:41 And also want to thank all of you in advance 01:43 for your love and your prayers 01:44 and your financial support 01:45 of Three Angles broadcasting network. 01:48 As we endeavor to take the Three Angels messages 01:50 into all the world. 01:52 We could do it without you, 01:53 not anyone of us or any small group has all 01:56 the resources but all of us working together can be 01:59 a part of the great Gospel commission of gooey 02:02 and to all the world to take 02:03 the Gospel literally around the world. 02:06 I'm gonna invite up, Moses Primo. 02:08 I call him Dr. Moo affectionately. 02:11 He is a doctor of engineering in my opinion. 02:13 No, I'm not a doctor. But you're a pastor. 02:16 Well. Okay. 02:18 All right, I'll just call you Moses 02:20 and you call me Danny, all right. 02:22 I get nervous you call me pastor, 02:24 but Moses is director of broadcasting. 02:26 He has been with 3ABN for how many years? 02:29 Fifteen years. 02:30 Fifteen years a long time, 02:31 and literally Moses is the brains behind 02:34 all the technical operation of all the satellites 02:37 up and down and the network that 02:39 he has built with God's blessings 02:41 the hundred downlink stations or so. 02:43 I think I've been told, 02:45 I've been told that 3ABN is the second largest 02:49 owner of UHF television stations in America. 02:52 I don't know if that's still true or not. 02:54 I know that we were at least I was told that sometime ago, 02:57 we've around a hundred 02:58 or so stations about many more 02:59 now I guess with the affiliates. 03:01 And we always built new ones and radio stations too. 03:03 Right, we have construction permits 03:05 about 27 more at the moment. 03:07 27 new ones? New ones. 03:08 All right, new stations to built? 03:09 Oh, that's wonderful. 03:10 Moses tell us a little bit, you're the technical guy, 03:13 tell us about how this works? 03:14 Right now we're speaking, 03:16 we're looking into our cameras. 03:17 This signal right here in Chicago, Illinois 03:19 at 7000 South Michigan Avenue, 03:22 but the signal you tell me literally is going around 03:25 the world, that's the speed of light. 03:27 Yes, Danny we have a satellite uplink truck 03:30 park in the parking lot here and we take this image 03:34 and this sound and we shoot to a satellite 03:37 that is here in US, just to distribute it to 3ABN only. 03:42 This satellite signal goes to 3ABN 03:44 and then is re-broadcasted to a AMC-4 satellite. 03:49 And also to PAS 9, which is a satellite 03:52 that covers all South America and portion of Europe. 03:56 And from there we take that 03:57 and we uplink again to Hot Bird 04:00 and then in Jerusalem we uplink to Thaicom 5 04:05 and then in Australia we take it again 04:08 and we uplink to Optus B3, 04:11 and Sweden we have another satellite come 04:14 that uplinks to Sweden area in Europe. 04:18 And then we take the signal again in Jerusalem 04:21 and we uplink to a new satellite 04:24 that we just started. 04:25 We were doing a test, but we're just broadcasting 04:29 now in the new satellite called ABS1. 04:32 And if you're watching me and this satellite ABS1, 04:36 it's privilege to have and the opportunity 04:39 to come to your house and bring 04:42 the Three Angles Message to you 24 hours 04:46 a day and this satellite is a beautiful satellite 04:48 that covers the entire part of the Middle-East 04:52 all the way to the east side of Japan. 04:56 So it covers a tremendous area. Okay. 05:01 And the two biggest-- two biggest nations on earth. 05:05 Yes, and it covers the two largest nations 05:08 on earth which is China and India. 05:12 And we have amazing pictures to share with you, laid on. 05:17 I have people that are already watching. 05:18 We receive several emails 05:20 and we want to welcome you that is 05:22 watching on ABS1 satellite. 05:24 It's a satellite that allows to bring the 3ABN 05:28 to a small dish, 24 inches satellite dish, 05:31 in large cities like Hong Kong and large cities 05:35 in China and India. 05:38 And we're receiving already some emails 05:40 from people that are enjoying this programming. 05:44 We were doing one month of test 05:46 and we decide and Danny told me go ahead 05:49 and sign the contract. 05:50 We gonna be signing the contract the next week 05:53 and that would be on 24 hours. 05:55 And we need some financial support to be able 05:58 to add this new satellite to our flee hour satellites. 06:02 So, we call it Flee because they're right now 06:05 eight satellites that involves in entire earth. 06:09 We had eight satellites before 06:12 and last year we lost a Sky Angel 06:15 and then this year we're gaining one more 06:18 satellite ABS1, and so we're going 06:20 back to eight satellites. 06:22 And for those that are, just a little update, 06:25 for those that are questioning about 06:27 the Sky Angel that we had lost last year, 06:31 I just have a good news for you. 06:33 We're still talking and there is a good possibility 06:36 that we'll go back on a Dish Network. 06:38 So we want to encourage you to continue praying first 06:42 and continue writing to Ericsson that very soon 06:46 Lord's willing will be back on the dish network satellite. 06:50 And then we will not gonna be 06:51 eight anymore, it's gonna be nine. 06:53 All right nine satellites there you go, 06:55 reaching the world, okay anything else? 06:59 I just want to conclude by saying 07:02 that the Lord is amazing Lord, 07:04 and He is doing a wonderful things with the technology, 07:09 allowing 3ABN to use this technology. 07:12 We have some other projects 07:15 that are coming very soon this year that 07:18 we allow not only satellite transmission 07:21 but some other technology that will bring 07:24 to large cities like here in Chicago 07:27 that would be able to watch 3ABN. 07:29 And you'll be able to get not only the channels 07:31 that you get on satellite, but some other channels also. 07:35 So pray for this project, 07:36 it's something that I believe is going to be one last step 07:40 that 3ABN would be able to bombard it 07:43 in the good sense of the whole earth 07:46 with this Three Angles message. 07:48 Well, explain, explain just for a moment 07:52 because this new technology that 07:55 if I understand it right, any of these folks 07:57 whether they live in an apartment here, 07:59 whether they can have a dish or not, 08:01 whether they're on cable or not? 08:02 They don't have to be on cable. 08:04 They don't have to get it on UHF channel. 08:06 They don't have to get it on regular internet. 08:09 But with what's being provided 08:11 and what you working with is a little box 08:14 that you just hook to your internet 08:16 but it'll actually hook up to your television. 08:18 And when you do that, you will 3ABN English, 08:22 3ABN Latino, 3ABN World Praise Network. 08:26 We talked about this morning, 3ABN children's network. 08:30 And hopefully international when we get to that point, 08:33 but you can get all of these channels at plus more-- 08:37 Yeah, it's a very large project that is taking 08:39 a while to get it done. 08:41 But I believe it's going to be a leap on reaching souls 08:45 because like Danny said in apartment buildings 08:47 you can't put a satellite dish, 08:49 or if you have a cable that does not carry 3ABN 08:54 you won't be able to watch 3ABN. 08:55 But this will allow you to watch 3ABN. 08:58 So please pray for this project. 09:00 It's a very close to get it done, 09:02 and we'll be launching very soon 09:04 and I believe it's going to be a tremendous way of 09:08 bringing the Three Angles message to the whole world, 09:10 and not only here in the US 09:11 but we cover the whole world too. 09:13 Okay, thank you Mo, God bless. 09:21 I would like to bring out Catherine, 09:23 Catherine Townsend at this time, 09:25 and she is going to be singing 09:27 "Let the Lord talk to you." 09:28 And Catherine tell me a little bit where you from? 09:31 I'm from Chicago and this is my Church Shiloh, 09:35 from the great Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist Church. 09:37 All right. All right, all right. 23:10 We ordered 5000 books, Lenna Crosby 23:15 who is our women's ministry, 23:16 leader of Independence was one that spearheaded this. 23:20 And we ordered 5000 of the Ten Commandment 23:23 twice removed books. 23:25 The only bad part about what we did was 23:28 we really did not get enough of them. 23:30 It was such an awesome weekend. 23:34 My experience is that we have been given 300 books 23:39 that with teams of us, and we have been given 23:41 300 books each in order to pass out in the area. 23:45 Well the first weekend naturally 23:48 there was a meeting. 23:49 The second weekend there was 23:51 vacation Bible school training. 23:53 We are at the week where the Ten Commandments 23:56 weekend is about to begin and I still have 23:59 300 Ten Commandment twice remove books 24:01 in the trunk of my car. 24:04 Monday had worked, Tuesday other things, 24:08 Wednesday here I am and still I've not got one book out. 24:13 I began to ask God to just let me be faithful, 24:17 not to do anything else but just let me be faithful. 24:21 I got off work at 2 o'clock that day, 24:24 had to run North with my husband 24:25 on the way back home. 24:26 I was like Lord's know, I'm just tired. 24:30 I don't feel good. 24:32 I got a headache, everything that could go wrong 24:35 and the car didn't want to move, 24:37 everything was going on. 24:39 I walked in the house, and the Holy Sprit was 24:44 working with me. 24:46 I said okay Lord just let me be faithful, 24:48 just let me be faithful. 24:49 and got back in my car, and went to the area 24:52 that was designated for me. 24:55 As I was driving all I saw was these factories, 24:59 I saw two men and a dove. 25:03 I said Lord I got 300 books to pass out 25:07 this is not going to work. 25:10 You shouldn't procrastinate. 25:12 That's the, that's the lesson that 25:13 we were learning so far, okay. 25:15 I drove to the end my route. 25:19 I asked God to show me where it is that 25:22 He wanted me to go and I went over on 25:25 22nd in Western and there's a little strip mall, 25:28 there's a grocery store and in there I said 25:31 Lord you do this. I got to get rid of these books. 25:35 I can't take these books back to Crosby 25:37 she would have killed me. 25:39 I got out and I started passing these books out 25:42 and people were excited to get the books. 25:46 They were sending their children to me. 25:49 They were coming to me. 25:51 What is this about, I need this? 25:53 Can I please? Oh, sure how many you want? 25:56 You know I was putting them in cars. 25:58 I was, I was just giving them out, 25:59 I finally got a shopping cart and put all the books 26:02 in the shopping card and just brought, 26:04 pushed the shopping cart around 26:06 and just passed the books up. 26:07 When I left there I had 18 books left. 26:11 They are 18 apartments in my building 26:14 that I live in and I put each book on each door 26:19 where I live and one of the ladies in my building came 26:24 for that weekend, and she spent the entire weekend 26:27 and she was so excite and she's just hungry 26:30 for more information. 26:32 It was just an awesome weekend. 26:34 All right. 26:36 But what happened, you said you are so tired, 26:39 you're just gonna go home and go to bed, 26:40 did God gave you some new strength or something? 26:42 Oh, I got energy from somewhere. 26:44 When you ask God to allow you to be faithful 26:47 and not keep asking Him to Lord let me do this 26:49 and do this and do this, just ask God to let you be 26:52 faithful and whatever energy, whatever strength, 26:56 whatever funds, whatever it is you need, 26:58 He'll give it to you, just so you could be faithful. 27:01 Okay, Patricia there are people right now 27:03 that's looking through those cameras right there. 27:06 We're looking at them, they're looking at us through 27:08 the glass of television. 27:09 They are thinking about may be they should be 27:11 a part of something like this or not. 27:13 So you're encouraging people to-- 27:15 Definitely be a part of it. 27:18 There are many people that we will not be able to touch. 27:21 We will not reach these people verbally. 27:23 But when you can put a book in a person hand, 27:26 one thing about a book whether you put it under 27:29 your mattress or you put it in the back of the cupboard, 27:31 the words will never change in that book. 27:34 There will always be the same. 27:36 And if that person does not read it someone else will. 27:40 I encourage you to be a part of something like this. 27:44 It is awesome and to watch God move. 27:47 Ho, you can't get better than that. 27:50 Thank you. Thank you so much. 27:51 All right, God bless you. Bye, bye. 27:55 It's fun working for the Lord. 27:57 But, you know, I've, I've some people write us 28:00 and they tell us stories and one person said 28:02 they were walking along the beach 28:04 and found one of the books and somebody here 28:07 just left it or thrown it away and they read the book 28:11 and then they came to an Adventist Church. 28:13 Another great story was they were holding some 28:16 evangelistic meetings down, I heard in Marian Illinois. 28:19 They had fliers and advertising the meetings, 28:22 were passing them all around 28:24 and a young man came to the meetings, 28:28 he starting coming every night 28:30 and so by the end of the meetings he said 28:33 I want to be baptized and then he joined 28:35 the Adventist church and they said well where did you find, 28:39 where did you get this information? 28:40 And he said well I work on a garbage truck 28:43 and people had thrown some away in the dumpster 28:47 and when I was going through the dumpster 28:49 I saw the advertisement decided I wanted to come here. 28:53 And so you see whatever you do, 28:54 and since you may think to throw it away 28:56 but even the garbage collectors are gonna get it. 28:59 Now he is gonna be, you know, 29:00 in heaven because of, because of this so, 29:04 little as much when God is in it. 29:07 I see some young folk here from the NAPS group 29:10 and if you would like, 29:11 why don't you come on up right now? 29:14 And each have a microphone but we'll see who seems 29:16 to be the leader here in speaking and we're glad 29:20 that you all are here and now are you guys just up 29:24 for a few days or what's happening. 29:25 We're here for our spring break. 29:27 You're here for spring break, and so you're vacationing 29:29 I guess laying out on the beaches and stuff. 29:31 No- No, not this time here in Chicago, ha? 29:34 No. Okay. Tell us first of all your names? 29:37 I'm Tamara Hilaire. Okay. 29:39 Shannon Hatch. Right, Shannon. 29:42 Jeffrey Pascal. Jeremy, what 29:44 Pascal. Okay thank you Jeremy. Okay. 29:49 We're glad that you all are here now. 29:51 I see you have something on that says NAPS, 29:53 what's these bags? 29:54 What do you have in these bags? 29:57 Oh, these are carrying bags and we have 29:59 Ten Commandments books in here 30:00 and tour presentations set up here also. 30:04 Okay, you have Ten Commandment books. 30:06 And so you guys walk in around passing these out? 30:08 Yes. Really! Okay. 30:10 We got to talk about this for a minute. 30:12 Oh, tell me how--okay. 30:13 Look let me give you the microphone. 30:16 I'm a guy just walking down the street, 30:17 and you want me to have one of the books, all right. 30:19 I want to see what you do to get me one of these books. 30:23 Okay, we have a canvassing poster 30:25 and says excuse me sir my name is Tamara Hilaire 30:27 I'm with NAPS and we are students, 30:29 trying the funds for starving children. 30:31 We have, we have free inspirational magazines 30:34 we like to leave with you. 30:35 If you like one we'll give you one right now. 30:37 If not it's okay, but it's a very good book. 30:40 Please take it. 30:42 Well, you mean it's, it's free? 30:44 There's, you're not gonna be owe me later. 30:48 I don't have to do anything, you just given it to me. 30:51 No strings attached? What it's about? 30:55 Well, it's about the Ten Commandments especially. 30:57 It's talking about the truth, 30:58 talking about what the Bible says about the 31:01 Ten Commandments, and how we should 31:02 live our lives for Christ. 31:04 Can I have two? 31:06 All right, sold me, she sold me. 31:08 All right, all right. 31:10 Tell me some personal experience 31:11 if you had any experiences that 31:13 you would like to share with us. 31:14 Get real close in your mic if you would. 31:16 Okay, well one night while canvassing, 31:20 I stumbled upon a lady and she came to the door 31:23 and I introduced myself and I get to hand her 31:27 the Ten Commandments book and she looked at me 31:29 and she just kind of had her mouth open like, for me. 31:33 And I was like, oh yeah, you know, for you. 31:35 And she said, is it free? I said, yes. 31:38 And I mean all was like, you know, 31:39 it is a very good book, you know, 31:41 teaching more about the Sabbath and things like that. 31:44 And she said but you know what my granddaughter is 31:47 trying to learn the Ten Commandments 31:49 and she could really use this and I said, 31:51 okay but you to have read that, 31:53 and you'll be along with her so you can learn as well. 31:57 And I was just, just the testimony, 31:59 you know, how God had used me to bless somebody else. 32:02 All right, that's good. All right. 32:07 Well, I was canvassing in Orlando 32:10 and I stumbled across this lady house 32:12 and I knocked on her door. 32:13 She said who is it? 32:14 Now when she says who is it, I says it's NAPS. 32:18 When I looked up, she is a big, tall, 32:21 leg out of the window and they don't come to the door. 32:26 So, I said a word of prayer. 32:28 I said God I know she want this book, 32:30 I know she wants to be save you kingdom, 32:32 let her open the door right now. 32:33 And this prayer, and when I open my eyes 32:36 she opened the door and I, 32:38 then I jumped back and she jumped back and-- 32:44 She scared you, ha? Yeah. 32:45 Okay, all right. 32:46 And then, then I came to her, 32:49 I told her about, mentioning about the book. 32:50 She just stopped me. 32:51 She went into the house and gave a donation. 32:53 And as I was handing the book she started crying, 32:56 tears start coming into her eyes. 32:58 She just grasped, grasped the book like this 33:00 and she would say thank you, thank you, thank you. 33:04 I was just like, I didn't even say nothing, 33:06 she was saying thank you, thank you very much. 33:07 I want this book all my life. I just, I need the truth. 33:11 And then as I was just running back, 33:13 Lord take care her off my eye because I know 33:15 it's the Holy-Spirit working in me and in her, 33:18 you know, now I know like I answered 33:22 my prayers for somebody else. 33:24 Wow! That's great. 33:27 Well, I've actually, while we've been in 33:30 Chicago we've been playing in the bands 33:32 because as we go to our neighborhoods 33:34 we have a snare, a Tom, a tom drum 33:36 which I pay and then the base drum 33:38 and the saxophone player 33:39 and we marched down the street, 33:41 the canvasses go to the each door and play. 33:43 So I haven't had the opportunities to pass out 33:44 any books but to hear their testimonies 33:47 it has encouraged me to keep playing because 33:48 I'm from Florida and I don't like the code, 33:50 but being out there and seeing them, 33:52 you know, pass out these books 33:53 and people just being so grateful for it, 33:56 has motivating me to continue playing for them. 34:03 So let me get this straight, when you, 34:05 you don't just go out on the streets. 34:06 You have a band. 34:07 You draw attention, how about that? 34:10 You draw attention, so you got your band out there 34:11 playing and when the people then gather around 34:15 and start noticing and that's when you all 34:16 go to work and start reaching in your little sack 34:19 and passing out these books, ha? 34:21 All right. How is Dr. Paul doing? 34:24 Doing good. Dr. Paul doing good? 34:26 He is my buddy you know, made him 34:28 do two on two stuff basketball. 34:31 And C.A, we were C.A. Murray. 34:34 We got our work cut-off. 34:35 It's usually when NAPS comes to 3ABN, C.A. 34:37 and I played basketball two on two but this one, 34:41 looks like he could be pretty tough. 34:42 He is your, you guard him C.A all right. 34:45 He is little taller than you but I think you got 34:48 a little more well something, little more, 34:51 little more of you let me say it like that 34:53 and may be you can scoot him out of the way 34:55 and just passed me I'll shoot, that's the good idea. 34:58 All right, okay. Actually that's Dr. Paul 35:00 is in Brazil with the group that's the year 35:03 he's off to school to do missionary work fulltime. 35:05 So he would, he says hi I'm sure, 35:08 because he loves you sir. 35:09 We love Dr. Paul and the work he had done. 35:11 Somebody tell us about NAPS a little bit, 35:13 what does NAPS just stand? 35:15 You guys do anything, but just spend your 35:17 Sabbath take a NAPS, right, so what does NAPS stand for? 35:21 The National Association for the 35:23 Prevention of Starvation 35:24 and we're basically college students. 35:26 We're missionaries and our organization is 35:28 based on Oakwood colleges and campus. 35:30 We travel around the country, around the world, 35:33 feeding people of starvation physically and spiritually. 35:36 We go to schools, juvenile detention centers, 35:38 churches, hospitals and just sharing the love of Christ. 35:41 We encourage young people to stay in schools, 35:43 stay out of drugs, just be motivated to 35:46 make a difference in their community. 35:48 And whatever us the Lord has 35:49 for us to do we're ready to do. 35:52 Isn't that great? Isn't that marvelous? 35:56 And how much do you get paid for this? 35:59 Nothing. They don't pay you to do all this? 36:01 No. Well, what about 36:02 the students that take a year off school to go, 36:05 they'd all just donating their time for you. 36:08 Yeah. Isn't that amazing folks? 36:12 Let's address, let's address something for a moment. 36:15 When you talk about problems in the church, 36:18 a lot of us older folks want to blame the youth. 36:21 And I don't think that's fair. 36:23 I want to tell you God has got some 36:24 great young people that are willing to go out 36:27 and do a whole lot more than most of us are doing. 36:30 And these folks and NAPS I don't know 36:32 any better example of Christian young people 36:36 willing to take the Gospel to the world. 36:38 If you're hungry they feed you. 36:40 If you got a porch that you 36:41 can't walk up onto your house, 36:43 it's broke down they will come and fix it, 36:45 and suddenly they become carpenters. 36:47 If you have some, needs some food, 36:49 suddenly they become your angels 36:51 who would bring in food to your door. 36:53 And they do an incredible work and I just 36:55 want our viewers around the world know that 36:58 I would encourage you to support the NAPS 37:00 from Oakwood College, Huntsville, Alabama. 37:03 That say, you know, may be the 37:04 Holy Spirit is impressing you and you wanna 37:06 just send a love gift and say you know what, 37:08 I want to support you. 37:09 I want to send the message to the young people 37:11 that we believe in the young people in this church, 37:13 in this Seventh-day Adventist Church 37:15 and we wanna support what you're doing 37:18 and the work that you're doing. 37:20 I have the up-most respect for Dr. Paul 37:22 and for the work and the caliber the young people 37:25 that come up year after year at 3ABN 37:28 and share their testimonies is absolutely amazing to me 37:32 and it's incredible and I think you all won 37:33 the best organization in the whole world. 37:35 I want to hug you all right. 37:41 He's got pretty good grip on you C.A. 37:43 I noticed this, yeah, just so 37:46 you can eye him up a little bit. 37:47 He's got pretty big, pretty good grip on you. 37:49 Okay, well listen I want to thank you all 37:51 so much and when are you going back home? 37:54 Sunday. Sunday? Yes. 37:56 Okay, so you had a good week in Chicago. 37:58 Oh, yes. All right. 37:59 Chicago tell him how much you 38:01 appreciate them being here to help. 38:14 Speaking of Pastor Murray, 38:15 Pastor Murray we have several minutes left 38:18 and I wonder if you could come up, 38:19 you got some things that you wanna share 38:20 with us before we have to close. 38:22 We got about 15 or 16 minutes 38:25 and I don't know about you but this is fun to me. 38:28 I enjoy hearing testimonies, I hear enjoy sing 38:33 what God is doing in the lives of people. 38:35 You know, I want to let you know something, 38:39 this church with all of its problems 38:41 is going through, right? 38:43 And we can go through, we can be a part of it 38:45 or we can choose to get away from it, 38:47 but none of us are perfect. 38:49 All of us are battered and torn 38:51 but with Jesus is the head, we stay on-board 38:54 with Jesus we'll make it through that storm. 38:56 And I look forward to the days ahead. 38:58 Yes, I know the enemies angrier then he has 39:01 ever been and yes he is throwing stones at all of us, 39:04 but you know what we don't have to worry about that 39:07 because we're just gonna go forward 39:08 and by God's grace I believe we're gonna see 39:11 great and mighty and marvelous things 39:13 even more than we have seen in the last few years. 39:16 I believe that God is getting ready to open up 39:18 some tremendous doors, China being one of those. 39:20 We have seen tremendous work 39:22 hundreds of thousands of people 39:24 in India becoming Christians 39:26 and joining the Adventist church 39:28 and the ex-Soviet Union where we've been, 39:30 many of these eastern block Romania, 39:32 eastern block countries we're seeing 39:35 tremendous growth in Christianity, 39:37 and God is just now working through China. 39:39 So 3ABN now is getting into the too foot dishes 39:42 in many parts of China and we believe we're gonna see 39:45 an explosion for the Gospel in that great nation also. 39:49 Pastor Murray. Amen. 39:53 I shall like to lay down a challenge. 39:58 I have in my hand a newspaper article 40:00 that was carried in many of the 40:03 largest newspapers in America 40:05 just about '07, or so years ago. 40:10 It's entitled "Choosing a Church." 40:15 And it was carried I know in Washington, 40:17 I think here in Chicago, in New York, 40:19 L.A, Miami, many of the largest newspapers 40:22 and in this article it rates and ranks all of the 40:25 major denominations in the world, 40:28 Christian denominations, Non-Christian denominations, 40:31 and it rates them on a scale of one to ten. 40:36 Would you like to know what the 40:38 Seventh-day Adventist church got? 40:41 Before I tell you that, let me tell you 40:42 what some of the others got, 40:43 so you can kind of get an idea. 40:45 The Catholic Churches here, 40:47 and they got six out of ten, not bad. 40:51 Methodist Church five out of ten. 40:55 Baptist six out of ten. 40:57 Even the Agnostics got one out of ten. 41:03 Atheists got zero out of ten. 41:06 Salvation army eight out of ten. 41:09 Hindus four out of ten. Buddhists five out of ten. 41:16 So, what do you think 41:17 Seventh-day Adventist church got? 41:19 Just throw out a number. 41:20 Ten! Glad you think that way. 41:24 Now we have gone the whole spectrum 41:26 somebody said ten out of ten, God bless you. 41:29 Somebody said one out of ten, shame on you. 41:35 Even if you got one, 41:36 you got to think you got ten, amen. 41:40 So, guess what we got? 41:43 No we didn't get ten. We didn't get nine. 41:48 We didn't get eight. We didn't get seven. 41:53 We didn't six. We didn't get five. 41:58 We got two. Now, why did 42:02 they give the Seventh-day Adventist church two? 42:07 The Methodists got five, the Baptists got six, 42:12 the Hindus got four, and Buddhists got six. 42:17 So why do we get two? 42:20 Well, obviously they're not comparing doctrine, 42:25 because you cannot compare Buddhism and Adventism. 42:31 You can't compare Hinduism and the Methodist church. 42:35 So, they weren't rating doctrine. 42:39 What they were rating was how does 42:44 your doctrine effect how you live? 42:51 How does what you believe effect how you treat 42:55 those who believe what you believe? 42:57 But more importantly how does your 43:02 doctrine effect how you treat those who 43:06 don't believe what you believe? 43:11 Do you reach out into your community? 43:14 Do you so believe in what you have 43:16 that you willing to share? 43:18 Are you willing to sacrifice, to share? 43:22 Are you willing to step outside your comfort zone 43:24 and meet those who need what you have 43:28 and give them what you have? 43:32 And they felt when it comes to reaching 43:36 and teaching and touching we're rated to. 43:41 Now my question for you is, 43:43 is that too accurate or not? 43:47 It all depends on you. If you're reaching, 43:53 you're teaching, you don't rate it two. 43:56 But few other kind of Adventists that we heard 43:58 about this morning from Danny 44:00 that may be a two is accurate. 44:02 You see if all we do is come 44:04 and sing and pray and praise and go home, 44:08 we've done ourselves and our God an egregious disservice. 44:14 Ellen White says there are far too many Christians 44:17 who sit in churches each week and sing 44:20 "Oh Halleluiah Jesus", while thousands 44:23 go down to Christless graves. 44:26 Jesus is coming soon and we all be like Napster's. 44:32 we have got the answers to the 44:34 questions that the world is asking. 44:38 But we only give those answers across 44:40 the dinner table on Sabbath afternoon, 44:43 while somebody right next door is dying for the truth. 44:48 Harold pastor tell me, folk out in the world 44:52 are eating potato chips and Adventists have 44:55 a seven course meal that they keep to themselves. 45:03 And I think Lord is calling us 45:04 to higher standards ladies and gentlemen 45:07 because Jesus is coming soon. 45:09 That's why I work at 3ABN, because I believe 45:15 that 3ABN is a tool in the hand of God 45:18 for the salvation of the souls of men. 45:21 I may do a quick infomercial 45:22 commercial for you and then I'm done. 45:25 Why should you support 3ABN with your prayers, 45:29 your love, your viewership, your financial support? 45:32 One when you do that you're doing God's will. 45:36 I said it last night, I say it again. 45:37 When I left the church classmate of mine, 45:40 Phil Willis, he knows said it through the pastor. 45:44 When we, when we budget in the 45:45 Seventh-Day Adventist church, 45:47 you budget at 95 %, the Adventist church 45:49 is never really broke ever because 45:51 they'd never spend all their money. 45:53 I have sold on general conference committee, 45:55 you never spend all your money, 45:56 you always save at least 5%. 45:59 So when the church tells you it's broke, 46:00 it really means we spend 95% of the money, 46:03 we're holding 5% for a rainy day. 46:07 When I want the 3ABN the union treasure told me, 46:11 don't go to 3ABN they're broke. 46:14 And I thought he meant Church broke, 46:17 which means you always got 5% somewhere in the kitty. 46:21 My first day I go to 3ABN we 46:24 have a day of prayer and praise, 46:25 well we shut everything down Danny gets up 46:27 and says ladies and gentlemen we're broke. 46:32 And somebody behind me said praise the Lord. 46:37 May be you suppose to look off your shoulders 46:39 to somebody when they say 46:40 praise the Lord because we broke. 46:42 And then he said we don't have any money, 46:43 they said glory to God. 46:46 And I said now he didn't say hope, 46:49 he didn't say rope, he didn't say soap, he said broke. 46:55 He said we don't have any money in the bank. 46:58 We have no money, 3ABN has no money. 47:07 Am I telling the truth? Everybody gets paid. 47:12 You see all this equipment, all paid. 47:15 No debt. We got no money and no debt. 47:20 It's okay to have no money when you got no debt. 47:26 We have no money, and everything 47:30 at 3ABN is paid for. Oh, nobody, 47:34 forgive my perjure of English, nothing. 47:38 Everything is paid for. 47:40 Now when you're in a business like that 47:43 either one or two things has got be true. 47:46 Either you're insane or you know Jesus. 47:53 And when I got to meet that man 47:55 I realized he knows Jesus, and that's how we're running. 48:01 Stations all over the world, downlink, uplink, 48:03 sidelink, crosslink all paid for. 48:09 And God is blessing that ministry, real fast. 48:12 Seven things, why do we go through that? 48:13 Number one when 3ABN comes to town Baptisms go up. 48:17 Everywhere 3ABN is take a sit at Las Vegas. 48:21 Can any good thing about Las Vegas? 48:22 Oh yeah, 3ABN came to Las Vegas two years ago, 48:26 pastor Danny Cruz, Mountain view 48:28 Seventh-day Adventist church had a 150 baptisms, 48:30 40 of them walked into the church 48:32 and said we were watching 3ABN would you 48:33 please run the water and baptize us. 48:35 We're ready to go. Forty! 48:39 Wisconsin conference sent down on a delegation 48:41 to 3ABN to see what's going on down there 48:44 because they got steady stream of people walking into 48:46 Adventist churches, ready to be Baptized fully 48:49 converted know the doctrines, 48:51 telling the pastor would you please 48:52 just run the water, make sure it's warm so 48:54 we can be Baptized because we're ready 48:55 to join the Seventh-day Adventist church. 48:57 So Baptisms goes up, cost per baptism goes down. 49:00 When you got people walking into your church 49:02 you ought to preach, don't have to put up a tent, 49:04 they just walk in all you got to is run water, 49:07 that's a cheap baptism, taking a bath. 49:10 Amen. Amen. 49:11 What happens when 3ABN comes to town? 49:13 Number four, number five, you got a 24/7 witness. 49:17 Did you know the Adventist, Seventh-day Adventist church 49:19 is closed 87% of the time? 87% of the time. 49:24 How you gonna be a light house 49:25 if the light is out 87% of time? 49:27 And how many ships are being 49:29 shipwrecked while a light is out? 49:32 Oh, well 3ABN comes to town 24/7 49:34 we never go to sleep and yes we do windows. 49:37 In fact we are a window. Amen. Amen! 49:44 It says you from Gorilla Evangelism. 49:47 You know gorilla evangelism is? 49:49 It's my term that's why you don't know. 49:50 I'll tell you what the Gorilla Evangelism is? 49:52 Gorilla Evangelism is that Evangelism 49:54 that we practice all the time. 49:55 I did it in when I was pastoring. 49:57 A tent pops up in the city, it just appears. 50:02 We run for about six weeks, fire a few rounds, 50:05 the tent goes down we disappear. 50:08 Another year later, another tent pops up. 50:10 Pastor, pastor, we stayed for six weeks, 50:13 fire of a few rounds get a couple of souls, 50:16 tent disappears, two years later another tent pops up. 50:19 That's Gorilla Evangelism 50:21 because it's like gorilla warfare. 50:23 It appears it disappears. It appears it disappears. 50:27 You don't know where it's going, 50:28 you don't know where it's coming, 50:29 it just appears it disappears. 50:30 But when 3ABN comes to town it stays 50:32 in town and there's a consistent witness, 50:35 a consistent witness, a consistent witness 50:37 and you get a consistent stream of people 50:39 coming to this Seventh-day Adventist church. 50:42 Six, name recognition goes up. 50:44 People began to talk about the 50:46 Seventh-day Adventist church and 3ABN, 50:47 and lastly and most beautifully people begin 50:52 to walk into Seventh-day Adventist churches 50:56 uninvited and unannounced. They just show up. 51:01 And when they come they know who we are, 51:04 they know what we believe and they're ready 51:07 to give their lives to God. 51:10 We started last year, Papua New Guinea. 51:13 We put on, we put on a station in Papua New Guinea. 51:17 We started broadcasting Tuesday afternoon. 51:20 That Sabbath people began walking into 51:23 Seventh-day Adventist churches, 51:24 that Sabbath and God bless because 51:27 there's only two stations in Papua New Guinea, 51:30 in whole country only two stations, one of them is us. 51:34 The government station if off more that it's on. 51:38 The station that's on 24/7, 3ABN. Amen. 51:43 And God is bringing people, bringing people, 51:46 bringing people steady stream of 51:49 people coming into the church. 51:50 I want you to pray for someone then I'm done Danny. 51:53 I want you to pray for someone. 51:55 There is a lady, I have a letter on my desk, 51:58 who is watching us from a middle eastern country. 52:04 And every time I get up I say hello to her 52:06 because her letter said to me, 52:08 her email said to me, 52:09 I'm writing you to ask the brethren 52:13 in United States to pray for me. 52:15 I watch 3ABN on my computer. 52:18 I love the Lord, I'm a Christian in my heart 52:22 but I cannot tell anybody. 52:25 I watch you at 2 o clock in the morning 52:28 for fear of my husband 52:30 because if my husband knew that 52:32 I had given my heart to Jesus he would kill me. 52:36 She said you cannot write me back, 52:39 you cannot contact me, 52:41 I really want to give my heart to Jesus, 52:44 am I a Christian? I said yes my sister. 52:47 You're a Christian and in the right time 52:50 God will tell you when to stand up for Him. 52:52 You keep watching 3ABN, you hold on to Jesus, 52:56 you keep praying and God is going to deliver you. 52:59 He is gonna take care of you. 53:00 You are one of us, you are our sister. 53:02 And if you got to watch it 2 o'clock in the morning, 53:05 you watch it at 2 o'clock in the morning 53:06 and God will show you when to stand up for Him. 53:09 So, I remember people like that. 53:10 They're people who are underground, 53:12 who are watching 3ABN 53:14 and the only connection with Jesus is this ministry. 53:17 And we're so very happy to be their lifeline to the Lord 53:20 and savior Jesus Christ. 53:22 That's why 3ABN deserves your prayers, 53:25 your love, your financial support, 53:27 simply because it is a tool in the hand of God 53:32 for the salvation of men and women, thank you. 53:42 Thank you pastor. 53:43 Our time has just about gone here 53:45 for our viewing audience at home, 53:46 our live audience around the world 53:48 and we do want you to think about and pray about it. 53:51 In just a few moments 53:52 as soon as we go off the air 53:53 we're gonna take up an offering here, 53:55 the pastor has been kind enough to say that 53:57 they will take up an offering 53:58 and may be those of you at home 53:59 if the Holy Spirit is impressing you, 54:01 you would like to send the tax deductible gift, 54:03 you may do so with the address 54:05 that comes up on your screen, 54:07 all during the day, it's P.O Box-220, 54:09 West Frankfort Illinois 62896, 54:13 you can always call at 1800 number 54:14 that's on your screen right now, 1800-752-3226 54:19 and get our address or email address 54:22 however you want to do it, but we appreciate your love 54:24 and your prayers and support. 54:26 And I want to just say that I want to give all glory 54:29 and honor and praise to God 54:31 that He is in-charge of Three Angles broadcasting network. 54:35 He didn't pick anybody that's at 3ABN 54:40 because they have any great talents or abilities, 54:43 and in fact may be in spite of that, 54:45 because it's a faith ministry. 54:47 It's like when Moses was leading 54:49 the children of Israel, 54:51 here's a man who was having speech problem, 54:54 communicating and God could have chose 54:56 someone who is a great orator, 54:58 but he had to have a help 55:00 even to communicate with the people, 55:02 but yet when the children of Israel were being guided, 55:06 we all know that it was God who was guiding them. 55:08 Now they choose sometimes to reject 55:10 but with 3ABN it's God who is leading 55:12 and guiding this ministry in spite of us. 55:15 I have said that for many, many years 55:17 God blesses us in spite of us 55:19 and I just appreciate 55:20 the opportunities of being in a ministry 55:22 and I give God all the honor and glory and praise. 55:25 We take no credit, the only credit 55:26 we take for anything that happens at 3ABN 55:30 if some bad happens. Right? 55:32 We take the credit for anything bad 55:33 but all the good things 55:35 we give credit to our heavenly Father. |
