01:00 You know, it's a blessing to be here tonight.
01:05 How about you? Amen. 01:07 And to see something that has happened 01:10 because of faith. 01:13 Listen, less than a year ago this wasn't even a conception. 01:18 And since then, we have printed 01:20 well over 300,000 Bibles. 01:23 We received probably 01:25 over 15,000 used Bibles which probably represents, 01:28 I don't know, 5 or 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,000 people 01:32 that have got involved, in not just United States, 01:36 we've got people from Norway, 01:37 from Australia, from New Zealand, from Germany, 01:40 you name it, people have got involved. 01:43 You know why? 01:44 Because they believe it's time to be involved, 01:47 don't you? 01:49 It's time for you now to get involve. 01:50 We can't just sit back on the tracks 01:52 and wait for somebody else to do the job for us. 01:55 And it doesn't matter if you're 5 years old 01:57 or if you're 85 years old, as long as you can breathe, 02:00 you can play a part. 02:02 We've had young children that have... 02:06 In a primary class, they saw the DVD, they said, 02:09 "I want to be a part of this," 02:11 and they got other children in their class 02:13 to give used Bibles and donations. 02:15 You know, and it's not about 02:17 the money for me, or for Remnant, 02:19 or anyone 'cause it's not for me, 02:20 it's not for them, it's for people 02:22 that need the truth, amen. 02:24 And I just want to thank each and every one of you 02:26 that have played a part in this 02:28 and continue to play a part in this. 02:30 I do also want to mention 02:32 before I start that I've been over to Africa 02:35 now three times in the last, 02:37 probably, seven or eight months, 02:39 I'm leaving with my brother here in another week. 02:42 And so it'll be four times in less than a year. 02:44 I had never been there before in my life. 02:46 I've been to almost every place else in the world 02:48 but I had never been over to Africa, 02:50 and it just amazed me 02:51 that the people that are hungering 02:54 and thirsting for the Word of God. 02:56 And so we have a satellite office over there. 03:01 And Philip is a printer, he's a businessman, 03:04 and he loves the Lord, 03:06 and we heard about this on 3ABN. 03:07 When we went over there, he said, you know, 03:10 "I would like to help anyway that I can," 03:11 and he's going full time 03:15 into this Bible for Africa project over there. 03:16 So he's our eyes and our ears, 03:18 and I just want to thank him too 03:20 because I'm sure he's watching right now 03:22 all the way over in Africa. 03:23 And everyone like I said is playing a part. 03:26 3ABN also has played a tremendous part 03:29 because if it wasn't for the satellites 03:33 beaming the signals down, 03:34 people wouldn't know about this. 03:36 How in the world... 03:37 You know, my mom always said that I had a loud mouth 03:39 and so did my teachers when I was growing up, 03:42 but as loud as my mouth is, I don't think that 03:45 I could yell loud enough to get around the world. 03:48 But with technology that we have today, 03:51 we can use it for the glory of God. 03:52 Amen. Amen. 03:54 Amen. 03:56 Before we start, I would just like to kneel, 03:58 I'm inviting you to kneel with me if you'd like. 04:01 I enjoy kneeling when I pray 04:04 because it continues to let me know 04:07 that I am a created being and I give glory to God. 04:11 So if you like to kneel with me before I start, 04:13 I'd appreciate that. 04:21 Father in heaven, oh, Father, I feel so blessed 04:27 to be here this evening. 04:29 And yet, Father, frightful 04:33 because without You I can do absolutely nothing. 04:38 You give me my very breath, You've given me my wisdom. 04:44 And so Father, please the scary part is that 04:47 I would get off into my own tangent, 04:49 my own thinking, and I don't want that. 04:51 So right now, Father, I pray that 04:53 You will take my lips and anoint them. 04:56 And, Father, these words that I speak will not be my words 05:00 or nothing to glorify myself 05:03 but, Father, You would be glorified. 05:06 And then, Father, I pray 05:07 that You will push the evil angels away. 05:09 We've had bad weather come through 05:10 and yet, Father, it's not raining now. 05:13 Father, we've had lightning that comes in here, 05:16 that came in here just a little while ago 05:18 and knocked the leg out of electricity here 05:22 and yet, the consumers were here 05:25 and fixed it in time. 05:28 Father, You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 05:34 Father, You are forever future, 05:39 not just forever history, and You see every need. 05:44 Father, I know that You're glorified by this work. 05:48 And so, Father, I pray right now 05:49 that You'll touch people's hearts 05:50 that they will be open, 05:52 that You'll send Your Holy Spirit upon each one. 05:54 And, Father, I thank You for hearing this prayer 05:57 because I prayed in faith and in the name of Jesus, amen. 06:05 Knock, Knock. Who's There? 06:09 Another title that I have, an older title is, 06:11 "Quiet. Do You Hear Something?" 06:13 If you turn in to your Bibles right now, 06:15 I want to get started in the Bible. 06:16 Turn into the last book, Revelation, 06:18 so last book of the Bible. 06:20 And I just would like to start out by reading something. 06:23 It's, you know, in Revelation, there are seven churches, 06:28 and I'm going to read about the last church, 06:30 just a little phrase that will start this off about, 06:33 "Knock, Knock. Who's There?" 06:35 So Revelation 3:20. 06:39 I love to hear the pages turn to the Bible 06:40 'cause it's not my words but it's God's Word. 06:43 And that's why we're trying to get these Bibles 06:45 over to South Africa and all of Africa actually. 06:47 And we've actually had phone calls 06:49 from Papua New Guinea, 06:51 from South America, from Mexico, people are saying, 06:54 "We've heard about this, can you please help us 06:57 get Bibles in our language also?" 06:59 And so it's the Word of God that changes people. 07:02 And so that's why we want to read from the Word of God. 07:04 Amen. 07:06 Okay, Revelation 3:20, it says, 07:11 "Behold, I stand at the door and," do what? 07:14 "Knock." "Knock." 07:16 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. 07:18 If anyone hears My voice and opens the door. 07:22 I will," what? "Come in." 07:23 "I will come in to him and dine with him, 07:27 and he with Me." 07:29 So there are some things here that takes place. 07:31 Number one, who's the one knocking on the door? 07:34 Jesus. Jesus. 07:36 Now do we have to open our doors? 07:38 No. It's our choice. 07:41 God has always loved us so much 07:43 that He allows us to make free will choice. 07:45 I am so thankful because I've always said, 07:47 if I went to heaven no matter how blissful it was, 07:53 if I thought that the Lord was making me a robot, 07:58 I wouldn't want to be there. 08:00 I just wouldn't want to be there. 08:01 I wouldn't be Dwight. 08:02 You know, and sometimes I thought, 08:04 can you imagine every one, 08:05 every time they got up in the morning, 08:06 you know, and they walked out of there, 08:08 dwelling or whatever, 08:09 and every one just all of a sudden... 08:13 You know, I think about... 08:14 I share this sometimes that if that was the case, 08:18 I can just imagine my guardian angel 08:20 when I make it to heaven, 08:22 my guardian angel said, "Dwight, 08:24 before you do anything, I've got to do something." 08:27 I said, "Well, what you've got to do?" 08:28 "Well, just here, sit down." 08:30 And all of a sudden as I sit down, 08:32 he's standing at back of me and he's doing something 08:34 to the top of my head. 08:37 And so I feel all of a sudden, 08:38 I feel the top of my head come off, 08:40 you know, and he's got like a screwdriver 08:42 and he's tweaking me, and all of a sudden gone... 08:46 See, I couldn't stand that. I don't want to be a robot. 08:51 And God loves us so much, 08:52 not only did He send His Son Jesus, 08:56 but He's allowing us to love Him by our own free hearts. 08:59 That's the God I want to serve, don't you? 09:02 And so each one of us have that opportunity. 09:05 Number one, number one, 09:06 we need to hear the knock, right? 09:09 And number two, we need to let him come in. 09:11 And He said... 09:12 He says this, which is so neat, and this is what I want. 09:14 I can't wait till this happens, He says, "I will come in." 09:20 He says, "If anyone hears my voice," 09:24 you know, and there's an if there, 09:25 "If anyone hears my voice and opens the door," 09:30 and opens that door, takes action, 09:33 "I will come in to Him, 09:34 and dine with Him and he with Me." 09:38 Do you know that God is ever sending 09:42 messages to you 09:44 through the Holy Spirit, constantly? 09:47 He's sending message... 09:49 Do you hear Him speak to you through the Holy Spirit? 09:53 I know that when I was younger, 09:55 I wanted to hear God speak to me. 09:56 But there was something, there was a problem, 10:01 I just wasn't hearing. 10:02 And then if I thought it might be God, I wonder, 10:03 "Is this God or is this just me thinking?" 10:07 And I don't know about you 10:09 but sometimes I get kind of confused. 10:12 Have you ever been confused? 10:13 Have you ever said, "Is this me thinking this, 10:17 or is this the devil putting a temptation in me, 10:19 or is this the Holy Spirit speaking?" 10:22 Any of you... Hands out there. 10:24 I hope so because it's happened to me before. 10:27 And I've had people come up to me and say, 10:29 "Dwight, how do you know 10:31 when God truly is speaking to me?" 10:35 Number one is, God impresses the mind, 10:38 the conscience, right up here, He impresses us. 10:41 But, you know, impressions alone are dangerous. 10:43 Did you know that? I've had people tell me this. 10:45 You know, these things are kind of funny 10:47 but they aren't, but they're little humorous, 10:50 but probably they shouldn't be. 10:51 But I've had people tell me, you know, Dwight, I was praying 10:55 that if God wanted me to have a new car 10:57 or used car, I had this old clunker, 11:00 and so I believe that God wanted me to have this car. 11:02 And so I prayed this morning, I got on my knees and I said, 11:06 "Lord, if it's Your will 11:09 and You want me to have this car," 11:10 in fact, I really like the color red, 11:14 "So if you want me to have this nice red car, 11:16 I'm going to drive down this... 11:17 Our city this morning. 11:20 And if I see a red car on the car lot, 11:24 then it's Your will I should have that car." 11:26 I've had people tell me that. 11:29 Now do you think just because they see that car, 11:31 it's God's will? 11:32 No. 11:34 That's why we always have to test, 11:38 we always have to test 11:41 by the Word of God those impressions 11:43 because Satan can tempt. 11:44 Did he not tempt Jesus? 11:46 Absolutely, if he tempted Him, he certainly can tempt us. 11:48 And we must learn to say, 11:50 get thee, what, behind me, Satan. 11:53 And so we need to know that's still smaller. 11:55 We need to know 11:57 when it's the Lord speaking to us. 12:00 You know, I know that many of us have said, 12:06 I've said it, if only God would speak to me 12:09 in clear black and white language, 12:12 I would do whatever He wanted. 12:15 I've said that so many times. 12:17 "Lord, just tell me what you want and I'll do it." 12:21 And yet, I believe that God truly is 12:23 trying to tell us what He wants. 12:25 But sometimes we don't hear. And why is that? 12:33 I like you to turn into Kings, 1 Kings 19. 12:35 I like to share a little bit, an example of that. 12:37 1 Kings 19:11, 12, 12:41 1 Kings 19 in the Old Testament, 12:46 there's a 1 Kings, there's 2 Kings. 12:48 And this is a story about Elijah. 12:51 So it's 1 Kings, what did I say, Chapter... 12:55 Good, you're listening chapter 19:11, 12. 13:02 Are you there yet? Good. 13:06 Okay, verse 11. 13:07 It says, "Then He said, 'Go out, 13:09 and stand on the mountain before the Lord.'" 13:12 Now who's the one, who is the He? 13:16 "Then He said," who is the He? That was the Lord. 13:20 So you could say, "Then the Lord said, 13:21 'Go out and stand on the mountain 13:23 before the Lord.' 13:24 And behold, the Lord passed by, 13:26 and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains," 13:29 It just didn't blow by the mountain, 13:32 it says this wind tore by the mountain. 13:34 Pretty good graphic words. 13:36 It says, "Into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces," 13:41 now I don't know about you, 13:42 but I lived out in Montana for seven years, 13:45 and right out of our window, 13:46 you could see the Rocky Mountains, 13:47 10,000 foot peaks. 13:49 And, you know, you see the tree line 13:51 at about 8,000, and then you get about 13:53 2,000 feet of nothing but solid rock. 13:57 Now I don't know, I've been out there, 13:58 I've climbed some of those peaks, 14:01 and it would take an awfully strong wind 14:04 to knock some of those mountain peaks off 14:06 and tear the rocks into. 14:08 Wouldn't it? 14:09 So now here's Elijah, picture it now, 14:11 Elijah goes out and stands, it says... 14:13 It says, "And these rocks were broke off in pieces 14:17 before the Lord, but the Lord was," 14:18 what, you've got that? 14:20 What does it say? But the Lord wasn't there. 14:24 Well, I think that was kind of the Lord. 14:27 It says, "Before the Lord, 14:28 but the Lord was not in the wind. 14:29 And after the wind an earthquake, 14:31 but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 14:33 And after the earthquake a fire, 14:35 but the Lord was not in the fire, 14:37 and after the fire," a what? 14:40 "A still small voice." "A still small voice." 14:44 You know, I've often said, "Lord, just shout to me. 14:49 I want to hear You." 14:52 But the Lord speaks to our conscience 14:56 in a still small voice. 15:00 And this translation, 15:02 if you look it up in the Hebrew, 15:04 I don't know Hebrew by the way, but I can look it up 15:06 and it tells me the exact translation. 15:08 It's a delicate whispering voice. 15:12 Delicate. 15:14 "Dwight, you should do this." 15:17 And if we're not quite, we can't hear. 15:23 This was my problem, you know why, 15:24 because Dwight Hall is a big dreamer, 15:28 and that's a good thing, that's a good talent, 15:30 but it's also a weakness if I don't give it to the Lord. 15:33 And so I can get myself so busy even doing good things 15:38 that I fail to listen to that still small voice. 15:43 Even at Remnant Publications with all the good 15:45 that's going on, there are times 15:47 when I've gotten so busy doing God's work, 15:53 I'm not listening and I get myself in trouble. 15:57 We all can't, it doesn't matter if you have a ministry, 16:00 it doesn't matter about anything, 16:02 we need to learn to listen to that still small voice. 16:04 I like to share an example. 16:07 I call it my birthright. 16:08 I know some of you have heard it before 16:09 but it's the best I ever can come up with. 16:13 I dedicated my heart to Lord back in 1984. 16:18 And I mentioned last night that I took this Bible, 16:21 it's the same Bible I bought it. 16:24 It's been rebound, 16:26 it's all marked up. I bought it. 16:28 I said, "Lord, I'm going to study this book, 16:30 even if it's the most boringest book I've ever read." 16:33 Now there are some good stories, 16:34 Moses, David and Goliath, 16:37 some of the stories here in Jesus, 16:38 you know, the water into wine, all these miracles, 16:41 there are some neat things, 16:42 but a lot of I just couldn't get. 16:45 But I said, "Lord, I will taste 16:47 'cause you said, 'Taste and see that I'm good.' 16:49 I will read this. I will make it my study. 16:52 I will understand... I will memorize it." 16:54 And so I did. 16:55 And I started tithing my time now. 16:57 You know what the word "Tithe" means? 16:59 It means 10%. 17:01 We always use it for money because we want to give 17:04 10% of our income to God, but it just means 10%. 17:08 So I thought when I wake up in the morning, 17:10 I'm going to give the first part of my day to God. 17:13 So how many hours is that? 17:16 That's 2.5 close, 2.4, 2.5 hours. 17:19 And I would get up in the morning, 17:20 I would get on my knees, and I would pray, 17:23 and I would ask God to help me to understand this, 17:25 and I would get in this Bible, and I would start reading, 17:28 and I would start studying. 17:29 And I did it, and I was so on fire 17:30 for the Lord that I was learning a lot of things. 17:34 But as I was learning, 17:36 because I'm an aggressive person, 17:37 I'm Type A, people know me, so I would go into our church 17:41 and I would go in and I would try to... 17:43 I would come right up to them and say, 17:44 "Hey, do you know, we ought to be doing this? 17:46 And, you know... 17:48 Did you know we should be doing this?" 17:50 And pretty soon when I would come in, 17:54 if the people didn't think that I saw them, 17:57 they would turn their backs and walk away. 17:59 And I saw that sometimes and it hurt me 18:01 'cause I was honest, but you see, 18:04 I was trying to tell them things 18:06 that may be I wasn't living myself. 18:10 Well, this one particular morning, 18:12 this was after probably a year or so, 18:16 I got up very early, and I was starting, 18:17 and I was asked to do our prayer meeting that night, 18:19 it was a Wednesday evening. 18:20 And so I got up and I said, 18:22 "Lord, what can I talk to the 18:24 dear saints about a church tonight?" 18:27 And so as I was praying, and as I was studying, 18:32 I thought I'm going to talk about probation 18:33 that Jesus is coming soon. 18:34 Probation will close, like it says in the Bible, 18:36 "And the righteous will be righteous still, 18:38 and wicked will be wicked still," 18:39 and we have got to make a decision 18:41 either for God or for not. 18:43 I don't care if you go to church. 18:45 Are you going to make a decision for God? 18:46 So as I got up that morning, 18:49 I was late for our family worship, 18:51 we always had morning worship, 18:52 we ate breakfast together. 18:54 And so I got up a little late and so I really rushed 18:56 to worship with the family, 18:57 and then Deb had made a nice breakfast. 19:00 And I said, "Honey, I'm not going to able to eat." 19:03 I got to get to work. 19:05 And I said, "But, you know what," 19:07 I said, "I'll be home for dinner." 19:09 And you know what she did to me, 19:10 this is a terrible thing for a woman to do this to guys, 19:12 at least to me, she did this, she went... 19:15 She rolled her eyes at me. I don't like that. 19:19 And so I said, "You just don't understand." 19:22 And she said, "Apparently, not." 19:24 I said, "You got this nice beautiful house, 19:26 you got three beautiful children, 19:27 you know, I'm working all the time for you." 19:31 And I said, "You'll see, I'll be home for dinner." 19:35 You know what she did, 19:36 I would think that she'd had sense enough 19:38 not to do this again, but she went... 19:43 And I like proving people wrong, 19:46 so I make sure that I am going to be home for dinner. 19:49 And so it came to about 12 o'clock. 19:52 And just at the time I was going 19:54 to get out of my office 19:55 and head for home, the secretary bust me. 19:58 She said, "Dwight, you've got a guest 20:02 that just came in that I think you need to see." 20:03 And I said, "Listen," I said, "not now." 20:05 I said, "stall him, I got to go home." 20:08 And she got off the line and came back and she said, 20:11 "But this person isn't going to take very long, 20:13 and so I really think you 20:15 probably ought to see him, they are passing through." 20:18 And so I thought, "Oh, boy, 20:19 why does these things happen to me?" 20:20 So I get on the phone and go... 20:23 You know, how the phone goes in ring. 20:25 And my wife said, "Hello. Hi, honey." 20:32 You know what her first words out of her mouth was, 20:35 "You're not going to be home for dinner, are you?" 20:37 How do they know these things? 20:41 I said, "Well," I said, "You don't understand." 20:42 She said, "You're right, I don't." 20:44 And I said, "But listen, I'll be home for supper." 20:47 And I said, you know, I'm going to be speaking 20:48 so I said, "Make sure that my clothes are around my suit, 20:51 my Bible, and everything." 20:52 And I said, "I'll come home, we'll go together." 20:54 So we hung up the phone, and I was busy at work again, 20:58 and just about the time I should be going home, 21:00 I had another interruption. 21:02 I had to call her again. 21:06 "Hello. Hi, honey. 21:12 I know, you want me to get your clothes 21:14 and you want me to bring them into the office. 21:16 Thank you, sweet heart, you've got to be nice." 21:20 So she came in with the kids and they sat down in the chair, 21:25 I'll never forget, I was at my desk, 21:27 and I was doing some busy work 21:29 'cause I had to get it done, just one last thing. 21:31 And I said, "Honey, how was your day today?" 21:39 And she started telling me but I wasn't listening 21:41 'cause I was too busy, 21:43 'cause I was doing something much more important. 21:46 And my wife could see that, so she trailed off. 21:47 And about that time, one of the children said, 21:49 "Dad, guess what I did today?" 21:54 "Not right now. I don't have time." 21:59 And so they were quiet. 22:00 I kept working making one last phone call, 22:03 my wife was looking at the clock and she said, 22:06 "Dwight, you know what's time, 22:08 it's 20 after 7, 22:10 and prayer meeting is in 10 minutes." 22:12 "Don't you know that I know how to tell time? 22:17 I know what time it is. 22:18 It's right up there on the wall, it's 20 after 7." 22:23 And so she didn't say anything. 22:25 And about two minutes later, I said, 22:26 "Deb, get the kids out in the vehicle 22:28 'cause I don't want to have to wait." 22:30 And so she got up and she start going out. 22:32 And so I took my clothes off in the office, 22:34 I was putting my shoes and my pants, 22:36 and put my tie on. 22:37 And you know what, I started reach for the belt, 22:40 I couldn't find my belt. She forgot my belt. 22:44 How could my wife forget my belt? 22:47 There's only like seven things, like my shoes, my socks, 22:50 my pants, my shirt, my tie, my jacket, and my belt. 22:54 Seven things, I mean, 22:56 what did she have to do all day, anyway? 22:58 She only has three kids, I mean, come on. 23:02 Now as bad as this seems, 23:05 I've had a lot of people come up to me 23:06 afterwards and say, you know, "Dwight, 23:09 you and I have a lot in common." 23:13 And so I ran out, jumped in the vehicle, 23:18 started it up and I said, 23:20 "Deb, how could you forget my belt? 23:23 I can't believe. What did you do all day?" 23:27 By that time, I ripped out of the drive 23:29 and I'm going a little fast, it's only about a mile 23:32 and a half or so to the church from our office. 23:34 And she said, "Dwight, don't you think 23:37 you're going just a little fast?" 23:39 "Don't you think I know how to drive? 23:40 I see the speedometer right in front. 23:42 You want to drive?" 23:46 By then, one of my kids said, "Dad, guess what I did?" 23:50 "Sit back and be quite. 23:52 I'm trying to think what I'm going to say 23:53 to our saints at the church tonight." 23:57 And so I went there, and we parked, 23:59 I jumped out of the vehicle, left my kids behind 24:02 and my wife behind, and I'm walking in the church, 24:05 and I'm shaking, "Oh, we're good 24:06 for being here, thank you so much. 24:07 We're gonna have a great time. 24:09 And I talked about probation closing, 24:10 I shared my heart. 24:13 And when we got done, as we were going home, 24:18 my wife was sitting there quietly with my kids. 24:22 And I all of a sudden said, 24:23 "Honey, if these people don't change, 24:29 they're not going to ever make it." 24:32 And the Holy Spirit spoke to me and I heard Him. 24:35 The Spirit said, "Dwight, if you don't change, 24:37 then you will be lost." 24:40 You see, friends, we've got to learn to listen. 24:45 And if we're so busy that we don't hear God, 24:48 I don't care what religion we are 24:50 because religion and a church 24:53 will never ever save us, ever. 24:58 It's our relationship with Christ 25:00 and it's just not a relationship that says, 25:02 "I know Jesus, I love Jesus." 25:04 Because in Matthew 7:21 it says, Lord, Lord, 25:06 look at all these things I've done in your name. 25:09 And Lord said, "What? 25:10 Depart from me because I never knew you." 25:16 Do you hear that still small voice tonight 25:20 speaking to you? 25:24 I know that night I went home, and I got on my knees, 25:26 and I said, "Lord, save me or I'll perish." 25:30 I mean, I'm studying your Word 2.5 hours every... 25:33 I'm memorizing Bible text, we sing scripture songs, 25:37 you know, we've been teaching our children, 25:39 I mean, "Lord, why in the world don't I have more power 25:43 because I'm learning this Word." 25:47 And the Lord said, 25:49 "Be still and know that I am God." 25:53 Are we too busy? 25:55 I know I get way too busy at times. 25:58 Do you hear that 26:00 still small voice speaking to your heart? 26:03 And you know what the sad part about it is, 26:07 there are many so called "Christians." 26:10 They go to church they are still living carnally, 26:15 is that true or false? 26:17 Okay, right. 26:19 There's probably people here right now. 26:21 I don't know they are living carnally. 26:24 You know what it says in Galatians 5, 26:25 let's look it up real quick. 26:27 The fruits of the Spirit, Galatians 5, 26:32 and the Lord brought me to this because you see, I had a... 26:36 We have a scripture song, I certainly won't sing it, 26:39 you wouldn't want me to. 26:42 But the fruits of the spirit, and we sang that 26:45 as a scripture song to our children. 26:50 But, you know, I fail sometimes to read the other part of it. 26:54 Galatians 5:19 26:59 and I'll read through 26, okay? 27:02 Are you there? Okay, amen. 27:04 It says, "Now the works of the flesh are evident, 27:07 which are, adultery, fornication, 27:09 uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, 27:13 contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, 27:16 selfish ambitions, dissensions, and heresies." 27:21 Boy, I don't know, I don't know if I could name anything else. 27:26 I don't know about you, but I've had some problems 27:28 with some of these. 27:29 Have you? 27:31 And that's when we're carnally minded. 27:32 But listen to this, it says... 27:34 And it goes on, it says, "Envy, murders, 27:36 drunkenness, revelries, and the like, 27:38 of which I tell you beforehand, 27:40 just as I also told you in time past, 27:42 that those who practice such things will," what? 27:46 "Not inherit the kingdom of God." 27:49 I didn't say it, the Bible did. 27:50 And when I read that, I thought wow! 27:53 Even though I know all scriptures... 27:54 What does it say in 1 Corinthians 13, 27:56 that's the love chapter, even though I know all things, 27:58 you can prophesy, and have all these things, 28:00 if I have not," what? "Love." 28:04 It availeth nothing. 28:06 And some times, take 1 Corinthians 13 28:08 and instead of the love there, 28:10 put Christ 'cause God is what? Love. 28:13 So if I have not Christ 28:15 because we're supposed to represent Jesus Christ. 28:20 But this is what every one of us 28:21 as Christians should desire, pray for, 28:24 and strive for right here. 28:26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is," 28:27 what? "Love, joy, peace, 28:31 long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 28:34 gentleness, self-control against," what? 28:38 "Such there is no law." 28:40 Isn't that what you want tonight? 28:42 I do. I do. 28:44 I long for that every day of my life. 28:46 And you know why? Because your religion 28:49 is not what church you go to, 28:52 your religion is your everyday life. 28:55 That's the religion that most people 28:57 when you meet them in the grocery store, 28:59 when you meet them at a lumber company, 29:01 when you meet them 29:02 at a car dealership, wherever you go. 29:04 The religion that many people will only see is a religion 29:07 that you have within your heart. 29:10 How many times, say someone pulled out 29:12 in front of you and you want to give them 29:14 some obscene gesture 29:15 and scream at the top of your lungs, 29:17 which they can't hear you anyways. 29:20 And probably they didn't even know 29:21 they pulled out in front of you. 29:24 Is that the fruits of the Spirit 29:27 or the fruits of the devil when you yell and get upset? 29:32 I've done it many a times. 29:35 God wants us to hear that still small voice. 29:44 As I started listening to that still small voice, 29:51 I had trials, I struggled. 29:56 I'll never forget one time that we were... 30:01 I call it my Ryder truck experience. 30:04 I was up in Montana and I know that 30:07 my family, Uncle Rene, Aunt Barbara, 30:08 and my father and my mother, and my brothers, 30:12 some that have been up there, 50 miles of gravel road, 30:16 bumpy and dusty in the summer. 30:18 And I had this big truck, and it was a Ryder truck, 30:21 it was a big 24 foot in case Ryder truck 30:25 that we had loaded our stuff up 30:26 when we went from Michigan to Montana to live. 30:28 And when I got there, took the box off, 30:30 and made a flat bed out of it 30:32 so I could haul lumber and whatever else. 30:33 But it needs quite a load for the springs 30:35 to ride halfway decent. 30:37 And so I went down and picked up these doors, 30:40 they stained them and varnished them, 30:41 they were nice six panel doors, 30:42 and I strapped them onto that wagon, 30:45 at the back of the truck bed. 30:48 And as I was going, I prayed, 30:49 "Lord, please let these doors ride well, 30:51 I've gotten strapped down tight." 30:53 And so as I was driving down that road, 30:56 the old truck is bouncing around, 30:58 and I got my wife sitting next to me 30:59 and my three children, they were pretty small, 31:01 they're sitting over here in this one seat. 31:03 There's a window that's in back, 31:05 it like an oval window that you could see, 31:06 and I could see the doors, if not I could see them 31:08 in the big rearview mirrors. 31:12 Well, it wasn't long before those doors 31:14 were kind of bouncing around. 31:15 The straps loosened up. 31:17 My wife could see a little bit of stress in me. 31:19 She knows how to figure me out. 31:22 We're married over 30 years now, praise God. 31:25 You know, people, when I get through some of these messages, 31:27 you know what they say, they say, "You know, Dwight, 31:29 I appreciate the honesty of your messages 31:31 because you give me hope, 31:33 and that's why I share my messages 31:36 'cause I don't want you to think that I'm up here, 31:37 and I've got it made. 31:39 I only have it made when I humble my heart 31:40 every single moment of the hour of the day. 31:44 And when I share some of these things, 31:46 the reason I'm sharing because you can say, 31:48 "If Dwight did all that, I certainly have hope." 31:51 So we'll have people come up 31:53 and, Deb and I would be together 31:54 and they'll say, "You know, Dwight, 31:56 I appreciate your honesty and bearing your soul. 31:59 And, Deb, I don't know how you could live 32:01 with such a jerk for all these years." 32:04 And I'm glad that she has. 32:06 And here's what she says to them, 32:07 "I knew that he would grew up and mature someday." 32:10 She had faith in me, praise God, amen. 32:13 I'm thankful for that. And so now, I... 32:17 She said, "Dwight, it'll will be okay." 32:19 And the kids even were saying, "Daddy, it'll be okay." 32:21 I said, "I know, it'll be okay." 32:23 And so I stopped the truck out and I strapped those down 32:25 even harder and it's tight. 32:27 I said there's no way they're going to loosen up. 32:28 Growing up in construction, 32:30 I know how to tie knots, and pull straps, 32:31 and make things so they don't move, 32:33 I mean, it's not like, you know, 32:34 I've never done this before. 32:36 And so I strapped it down, I jumped in the truck 32:37 and stepped on the gas, 32:39 but I'm only going maybe 30 miles an hour. 32:41 Now for me, that's pretty slow. 32:43 But the road is bumpy and those doors are, 32:46 right away within a two miles they started bouncing again, 32:49 and top one is moving, and I'm thinking, 32:51 these are furnished, and I mean, 32:53 I've spent all this money, 32:54 and so I'm getting little more stressed out, 32:55 and my wife is feeling it, you know, and she says, 32:58 "It'll be okay." 32:59 I said, "I don't want to be okay." 33:02 And the kids say, "It'll be okay, Dad." 33:04 So I stopped and I went back out, 33:05 and I said, "Lord, you know, you need to give me patience. 33:07 Now I need patience." 33:09 And so I strapped those doors down again, 33:11 and I jumped in the truck, and I took off again, 33:13 and it wasn't three miles and those doors 33:15 are bouncing around again. 33:17 And at that time I lost it. 33:20 Now the spirit is whatever whispering in my ear, 33:23 Isaiah 30 says that the word would speak, 33:26 what, does anyone know that? 33:29 Let's look that up right now. I want to just take a pause. 33:31 Look that up, Isaiah 30, chapter 30. 33:34 You have to know that God speaks to us, 33:37 we got to learn to listen. 33:39 Isaiah 30, I think it's verse 21. 33:45 Isaiah 30, about the middle of the Bible. 33:48 Isaiah 30:21, it says, 33:53 "Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 33:56 'This is the way,'" what? "Walk in it." 34:00 And the Lord was speaking to my heart, 34:01 "Dwight, please give your heart to me." 34:05 But you see, I was so concerned about the doors 34:10 that I was not listening to God. 34:14 So, you know, instead of stopping the truck, 34:18 taking a breath, praying to the Lord, 34:19 if I had to just stopped and said, 34:21 "Kids, just ask the... 34:23 Kids, would you pray for your Dad? 34:24 He's struggling right now." No, I'm dad, I can handle it. 34:29 So, you know what I did instead of stopping, 34:30 I just stepped on the gas. 34:33 I don't care as the logs are flopping around, 34:34 and I ruined them anyways, 34:36 maybe if I go faster it won't be so bumpy. 34:38 Those doors were just flopping all over the place. 34:42 Finally, I just jammed on the brakes, 34:45 I jumped out, 34:47 I jumped in the back of that truck, 34:50 I grabbed the very first door, and I picked it up, 34:51 and I just threw it. 34:53 I was so upset. 34:55 And I went down for that second door, 34:56 just like this, and you know what I saw, 35:00 have you ever been to zoo before? 35:02 I mean, my kids and my wife that oval window, 35:05 they had their nose plastered up against the window, 35:10 and they were just... 35:11 My kids, they were wide eyed, and I felt like, you know, 35:15 you ever watch the gorilla and they throw things around. 35:17 I felt like I was in the cage, I was the gorilla 35:20 and they were outside watching their dad, 35:22 their gorilla dad. 35:24 Pastor Corey mentioned today 35:26 about the beast in us. 35:27 Well, believe me, I had the beast in me. 35:30 And as I was down there with those, that next door, 35:34 my wife with her nose plastered against that, she just went... 35:39 Like, I can't believe this. 35:41 And at that time, that little pause, 35:46 God said, "Dwight, won't you give this to me? 35:52 It's not about your doors. 35:54 This is your situation, this is your... 35:57 Will you please give it to me? That's what I'm here for. 36:00 There's power if you'll surrender. 36:06 Dwight, just... 36:08 Just look out, it's a beautiful day, 36:09 look at the snow capped mountains." 36:11 And believe me, we've had people come up 36:12 to our place up there and people said, 36:14 "I've only seen this on a postcard." 36:18 But I didn't care about a tent, 36:20 I didn't even care about my doors, 36:22 I only cared about me, myself, and I. 36:25 Lord said, "Please, 36:28 don't you want to walk with me?" 36:31 I paused. 36:33 I looked out there 36:35 and saw those beautiful mountains. 36:36 I said, "Lord, please I need your strength right now." 36:46 Thankful to say that I stood there, 36:49 the Lord just impressed me to stay there 36:51 till I calmed myself. 36:55 As I'm standing there... "Have you ever got upset?" 36:58 And when it's all over, you feel like 36:59 you're the stupidest fool in the world. 37:01 Has that ever happened to you? 37:04 I mean, my kids are still staring, 37:06 I'm thinking "Ah, what kind of a father am I?" 37:11 I'm so glad I got loving children 37:13 that forgive their dad, and a loving wife. 37:15 Amen. 37:17 I got out, picked that other door up, put it back up, 37:22 I prayed, "Lord, please I don't care 37:25 about the doors anymore, I just want to walk with you." 37:28 Strapped them down, 37:30 doors never moved the rest of the way home. 37:33 See when we ask for patience, 37:37 don't expect nothing to come our way. 37:41 When you ask the Lord to help you in your finances, 37:43 don't think that the Lord is going to give you 37:45 a bunch of money, He's not. 37:50 The Lord is trying to get you and I 37:53 into the heavenly kingdom, it's a choice. 37:56 And that really, really, only reason we're here 37:58 is because we are developing a character like Jesus. 38:03 Amen. 38:04 And once we're starting with that on that road, 38:07 then we can share that with others. 38:11 And so when you learn that, it's not that big of a deal, 38:13 but believe me, it's tough, it's a struggle, 38:15 it's been a struggle for me. 38:17 I tell people I got my temper honestly from my father, 38:20 "Hi, Dad." 38:22 I tell people, it takes 30 some years 38:25 to get a professional temper like that. 38:27 I worked on it all years, all 34 years. 38:33 But the Bible says, 38:35 "Can a leopard change its spots?" 38:36 But through Jesus Christ how many things are possible? 38:39 All things are possible. 38:42 And by God's grace, that old man that's inside me, 38:47 I have been learning day-by-day, 38:49 month-by-month, 38:50 and year-by-year to keep it put down 38:53 because Christ is reigning in my heart and in my soul. 38:57 Amen. Isn't that what you want? 39:03 Sometimes we have to take a step backwards 39:06 to take two feet forward. 39:09 Sometimes we have to realize that 39:11 just because we're doing good things 39:13 doesn't always necessarily mean that we're doing the best 39:16 because you see the enemy of best is good. 39:20 When I hear people say, "That's good enough" 39:21 that bothers me 39:24 because the enemy of best is good. 39:26 We need to do what, the best for our Master. 39:30 And so I like you to turn into scriptures 39:32 and I'll share an example. 39:34 If you turn to 1 Samuel 18... What did I say? 39:40 1 Samuel 18. 39:42 Okay, good. 39:43 1 Samuel 'cause there's two Samuels in the Bible, 39:44 1 and 2. So it's 1 Samuel 18. 39:49 I think it's kind of neat. 39:50 That's why as you start reading the scriptures 39:52 and apply it to your life, these scriptures will jump out. 39:54 They're not that difficult with a Holy Spirit to teach you 39:57 how to understand these things 39:59 and put them very practical in your everyday life. 40:01 Okay, so 1 Samuel chapter, what? 40:05 18. You're listening. 40:07 Praise God. 40:08 Samuel 18:6-9. 40:18 Are you there? Yes. 40:20 Okay. 40:21 It says, "Now it happened as they were coming home, 40:24 when David was returning 40:25 from the slaughter of the Philistine, 40:27 that the women had come out 40:29 of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, 40:32 to meet King Saul, with tambourines, with joy, 40:35 and with musical instruments." 40:37 Now picture that. 40:38 All the cities along the way 40:40 as he was coming back from battle, 40:41 here's King Saul with his army, and these women are coming out 40:46 because it's the women, 'cause the men are fighting. 40:48 And the women are coming out with their tambourines, 40:50 they're dancing in the Lord, and here's what's going on, 40:52 picture this, it says, 40:54 "So the women sang as they danced, 40:56 and said, 'Saul has slain his,'" 40:58 What? 41:00 "Thousands, but David has slain," 41:02 What? "Tens of thousands." 41:05 And here's what it says, "Then Saul was very angry, 41:08 and the saying displeased him, and he said, 41:12 'They have ascribed to David ten thousands, 41:13 and to me they have ascribed only thousands. 41:18 Now what more can he have but the kingdom?' 41:22 So Saul eyed David from that day forward." 41:26 Do you know what gave David the strength 41:29 and the power to slay as tens of thousands? 41:31 Do you know what he was doing before that? 41:34 What was David? What was his... 41:37 He was a shepherd. 41:40 And I keep going to the story about, 41:43 when he slayed Goliath and he went there 41:44 and his brothers said, "What are you doing here? 41:48 Why aren't you back with the sheep 41:50 where you belong?" 41:51 And he'd been out there. 41:52 You know what, he'd sling that sling, 41:54 and he'd swing it around, and he'd aim it to trees, 41:57 he probably put a bullseye on there, 41:59 he probably would do all kinds of, 42:00 he got so good with that sling. 42:03 And he would go out there he would sing songs 42:06 because you see that wilderness experience for him 42:10 was training him to be the next king. 42:11 Now King Saul, on the other hand, 42:14 had done many great things. 42:15 Hadn't Saul won a lot of battles? 42:17 I mean this is a battle they had won. 42:19 He won a lot of... He was doing God's work. 42:21 He was fighting for the Israelites, 42:23 Israelites was the church. 42:24 He was going out there fighting those battles, 42:26 he was winning those battles, 42:27 but Saul was losing touch with who? 42:30 God. Read it. 42:32 After a while, he actually goes 42:33 to the Witch of Endor to spiritualism. 42:39 And here at one time, he was a great king, why? 42:42 Because he forgot to take time 42:47 to commune with God. 42:51 Are you forgetting to commune with God? 42:53 Would you make that right decision? 42:56 I like to share with you a last story that, 43:00 it's kind of graphic. 43:03 But when we listen to that voice, 43:05 we need to obey. 43:06 And sometimes we ask for things 43:08 and God shares these things with us. 43:10 He gives such an illustration that I will never forget, 43:15 I've had many of them. 43:20 I don't know about you but I believe that 43:21 every one of you want to walk with God. 43:23 Amen. Amen. 43:25 I want to be in the heavenly kingdom. 43:28 At the end of my days, 43:30 whether I live to be of an old age 43:32 and I do not believe that's going to happen, 43:35 maybe I'll get in a car accident, 43:36 who knows maybe tonight. 43:38 I don't have a hold on the future, do you? 43:41 But I know one thing, I want to be submitted 43:44 and committed to Jesus Christ every single moment of the day. 43:52 And so in my quiet time, I was asking Him to bring up 43:56 anything in my heart that He needs to bring up. 43:59 And one thing, as a man, 44:01 I've always concerned myself with. 44:02 I think I'm just a normal average guy that, you know... 44:06 God created us this way but because of sin, 44:09 Satan has perverted it. 44:11 And, you know, man was always supposed 44:12 to be the aggressor not the woman. 44:15 And man was supposed to look woman... 44:17 Women are beautiful. 44:18 And so God created it that way. 44:21 And so, you know, but because of perversion and sin, 44:23 it's messed up, there's rapes, there's all kinds of 44:26 perversions out there, it's terrible. 44:29 I want to go home, don't you? 44:30 And so I said, Lord, you know, what would happen 44:33 if someone is trying to tempt me, 44:34 and maybe they threw me in prison, 44:37 and all of a sudden they brought in 44:39 three or four beautiful women scantily dressed. 44:43 Would I be able to stand firm? 44:46 Would I be able to keep my eyes focused on my Savior 44:49 no matter what? 44:53 Maybe, men, you've never asked that question to women. 44:56 Maybe you've never asked that question, 44:57 but I'm an honest person, and I don't try to hide sin. 45:00 I want to say, "Lord, I want you to show me 45:03 where I need to grow in my life." 45:07 And so as I was asking the Lord that, 45:11 the Lord just impressed me. 45:12 "If you will keep your eyes on Me, 45:15 you won't have to worry about that." 45:16 Well, it was probably a few months later, 45:18 I was over in Europe speaking over there 45:20 with a good couple friends of mine, 45:22 and I was in that room, 45:23 and I got up very early in the morning, and I walked out, 45:26 I didn't want to wake them up, and it was it like a... 45:28 it was like a big mansion, 45:31 and they had rooms in there where people were staying. 45:33 And so I walked out, 45:34 and there was some night lights in the hallway, 45:36 and there was this couch. 45:38 And so I went there and I knelt right by that couch 45:42 and I must have been praying for about half an hour, 45:43 "Lord, please show me my need of a Savior. 45:46 Please help me keep my eyes focused on you today." 45:49 If there's anything in my life, "Please teach me, Lord, 45:51 what I need to know today right at this minute." 45:56 And so I got up, and of course, I always ask the Lord 45:58 to give me a heart of understanding 46:00 to send the Holy Spirit upon my heart. 46:02 And so I got up, I just opened my Bible, 46:06 and just kind of got comfortable on that couch, 46:08 and all of a sudden across the hall, 46:11 it was probably five or six feet at least, 46:13 I heard a door latch. 46:17 And as it unlatched, obviously, you know, what would you do? 46:21 If you've got your... 46:22 If you're reading, what are you going to do 46:24 if there's a door that unlatches, 46:25 and it's like 5 o'clock in the morning, 46:26 nobody's up, what would you do? 46:29 Would you look up and wonder who that is. 46:31 And so I looked up 46:33 and this lady, I don't know her name, 46:36 didn't see her after that, probably 85, 90, very old. 46:41 And she walked out, and she had no clothes on her. 46:45 Now I don't know about you, but that ruins a quiet time. 46:50 And I'm not usually a speechless person, 46:53 ask my folks, ask my wife, or my kids, 46:56 but I just want to know, 46:59 if there was a picture taken, I was probably like... 47:03 I mean, it shocked me. 47:05 And so I thought this lady would see me 47:08 and she would turn around but she was, 47:11 you know, I don't know if she was in a right mind, 47:13 she could have been sleepwalking, 47:15 I don't know, I didn't ask her. 47:17 But she just kind of shuffled 47:19 and she had a worst shrug in her hand. 47:21 She was kind of shy and she was walking right for me. 47:24 Now that bench was at the back of the wall, 47:28 you know, I want to hide, I want to go somewhere, 47:30 but I mean you're only five or six feet 47:32 and she keeps coming right up, 47:33 until she's standing right next to me, 47:35 never said a word, and neither did I. 47:38 And I didn't know what to do, you know. 47:40 And I was so shocked, I never put my eyes back, 47:44 I'm just looking. 47:45 And I want you to know something, I did not lost, 47:48 I'm almost 52 years old, 47:51 and I can tell you that because of sin, 47:54 as we grow older, our flesh grows older. 47:57 It gets more wrinkly, you know. 47:59 And I can tell you that 48:02 I was not lusting in the least little bit. 48:05 I just didn't know what to do. 48:07 And she walked right up to me, and she turned around, 48:12 and shuffled back into her room and shut the door. 48:20 That was it. 48:22 I mean, I closed my Bible, and I ran back to my room. 48:28 And I thought, "Man, I hope I don't ever... 48:30 I hope she didn't recognize me, 48:32 I hope that I don't see her again." 48:34 And I got on my knees 'cause it's still quite. 48:36 I said, "Lord, why? 48:39 I got up, I had a nice beautiful prayer, 48:43 I want to have quiet time, I want to learn... 48:44 Why did you do this? 48:46 You could have kept her in that room, 48:48 You could have put me on another bench, 48:50 You could have kept me somewhere else. 48:51 Why at this exact time did You do this to me? 48:55 And you know what, in the quietness of my soul, 49:01 the Lord said, "You see that flesh, 49:04 that's what all sinful flesh will look like 49:06 if it grows old enough." 49:08 Dwight, you've been talking, you've been praying to me about 49:11 would I sin, would I commit adultery? 49:14 Dwight, 49:19 is it worth that? 49:25 Is it worth it? 49:27 Will you sell your soul for a bowl of stew? 49:33 You remember in Old Testament, 49:36 where Esau was very hungry, there was Jacob and Esau, 49:39 do you remember the story? 49:42 And Esau was the eldest, and he held the birthright, 49:45 and that birthright was not only for the physical 49:48 to get all the money and all the land, 49:50 that birthright was also a spiritual birthright. 49:52 He was to be the priest, he was to be the patriarch, 49:55 he was to take the torch, 49:56 he was to hold that torch up high, 49:58 and say, "I am a patriarch. 49:59 I am a man that loves the Lord, God. 50:05 And I will teach my children after me." 50:07 But he allowed himself on emotions, 50:10 and he went in there, 50:12 and Jacob by deceit, he wanted the birthright 50:14 because, you know, first of all, 50:16 his mother kind of messed Jacob up a little bit, 50:19 and she was a little deceitful. 50:20 But here's the point, Jacob really longed 50:23 not so much for the physical, 50:25 he knew that Esau didn't really care, 50:27 and he wanted that spiritual birthright 50:30 'cause he loved Jesus. 50:32 And so now here comes Esau, and he comes home and says, 50:34 "I'm hungry. 50:35 Jacob, you've got some stew, and I want that now." 50:37 And Jacob thought "Here's my time. 50:39 I know my brother, we're twins. 50:41 You know, guess what, Esau, you know what, 50:43 I'll consider it, 50:44 but I want you to give me birthright." 50:45 And what did Esau say, he said, "What good is a birthright 50:47 when you're hungry? 50:50 Just give it to me, you've got it, 50:51 I don't need it anyways." 50:53 And so that's what took place. 50:55 Now if you go back in Hebrews, 50:57 let's go to Hebrews real quick here. 50:59 Hebrews 12, Hebrew 12. 51:11 Hebrews chapter what? 51:13 12. Good for you. 51:14 Hebrews 12, that's almost 51:17 in the last of the New Testament. 51:19 Hebrews 12:16, 17. 51:23 Here's what happened, 51:25 you know, way down the line here, 51:26 what it says, it says... 51:33 What did I say? Did I say... 51:35 I might have made a mistake there. 51:37 Yeah, chapter 12, yep, 16 and 17, thank you. 51:40 Keep me straight. 51:41 It says, "Lest there be any fornicator 51:44 or profane person like," who? 51:46 "Esau." 51:47 "like Esau, who for one," what? 51:52 "morsel..." 51:53 I mean, do you know what the word "morsel" means? 51:57 I don't know about you, but I couldn't live 51:58 on a morsel of food. 52:01 But Esau, it said, 52:05 "Who for one morsel of food sold his birthright." 52:10 Now this is the sorry thing. 52:11 It says, "For you know that afterward, 52:13 when he wanted to inherit the blessing," 52:15 did not he want to inherit it? 52:17 Yes, he did. 52:18 It says, "when he wanted to inherit it," it said, 52:21 "he was rejected, 52:22 for he found no place for repentance, 52:24 though he sought it diligently with tears." 52:32 One day, brothers and sisters, it will be too late. 52:39 Is the Lord knocking on your heart this evening? 52:43 Don't you want to hear that still small voice? 52:47 Don't you want to start learning to obey the Lord 52:50 because you love Him? 52:51 Doesn't matter what anyone else says. 52:53 Take time. 52:54 Have a wilderness experience which means that 52:56 take time with God wherever you're at. 53:00 Learn to walk with God. 53:02 He loves you so much. 53:04 He has paid more than the penalty. 53:09 He's asking for your heart. 53:14 Don't sell your soul for a lousy piece of flesh, 53:20 or a morsel of food 53:22 because it's a blink of the eye 53:25 of what we're living here. 53:28 It's not worth it. It's not worth it. 53:33 Would you kneel with me as we close? 53:42 Father in heaven, oh, Father, my heart is burdened 53:46 for Your precious people here. 53:49 Father, I pray that You'll touch their hearts, 53:50 I pray that they will make a decision now 53:53 this moment. 53:54 Father, please guide them, direct them, encourage them. 53:58 I know there are people here that are discouraged, 54:01 but Father, the very point that they're discouraged 54:04 gives you the chance of working a mighty miracle in their life. 54:07 Father, please help them to keep their eyes 54:09 focused upon You. 54:11 I pray, Father, that You might continue to encourage us, 54:14 let each one tonight, right now in the knees, 54:16 Let them know how much, Father, that you love them. 54:19 Now Father, I thank You for this opportunity to be here 54:23 and for these dear souls to be here. 54:25 I know it's been Your timing. 54:28 And so, Father, I pray these things 54:30 in the precious and holy name of Jesus, amen. |
