01:02 Hello and good evening and welcome
01:04 to the penultimate meeting of our wonderful series
01:08 "Where Are All of His Miracles."
01:09 We've had a wonderful time, haven't we?
01:11 Amen.
01:12 And God has been here each and every night
01:14 and we know that tonight will be no exception.
01:17 Allow me please to wish you a happy Sabbath.
01:19 Happy Sabbath.
01:22 That's kind of a weak happy Sabbath.
01:24 Happy Sabbath.
01:25 Happy Sabbath.
01:27 That's a happy, happy Sabbath.
01:29 We want to go right to our theme song.
01:31 You know it well by now it is 111 in our church hymnal,
01:35 it is "It Took A Miracle,"
01:37 and truly that has been the center
01:39 and circumference of all that we've talked about this week,
01:41 the miracles of our loving God.
01:43 Let's sing it together.
01:44 My Father is omnipotent
01:48 And that you can't deny
01:51 A God of might and miracles
01:56 'Tis written in the sky
02:00 It took a miracle
02:05 To put the stars in place
02:09 And it took a miracle
02:14 To put the world in space
02:18 And when He saved my soul
02:23 Cleansed and made me whole
02:29 It took a miracle
02:32 Of love and grace
02:36 Very good. Stanza number two.
02:43 We still can't fully see
02:47 The wonders of His might
02:51 His throne 'twill take eternity
02:56 It took a miracle
03:01 To put the stars in space
03:05 It took a miracle
03:10 To hang the world in space
03:14 But when He saved my soul
03:19 Cleansed and made me whole
03:25 It took a miracle
03:28 Of love and grace
03:33 Very good. Now that last stanza.
03:35 The Bible tells us of His power
03:39 And wisdom all way through
03:43 And every little bird and flower
03:48 Are testimonies too
03:53 It took a miracle
03:57 To put the stars in place
04:02 And it took a miracle
04:06 To hang the world in space
04:11 But when He saved my soul
04:16 Cleansed and made me whole
04:22 It took a miracle
04:26 Of love and grace
04:32 Amen and amen.
04:34 Again we want to welcome
04:36 those of you who are in our audience this night
04:37 and those who are watching
04:39 and viewing from around the world.
04:41 You know, we have a great big wonderful 3ABN family.
04:45 Many we will never meet until we meet them
04:47 on the sea of glass and join hands with them.
04:49 What a day of rejoicing that will be?
04:51 When we'll have millions upon millions of brand new friends
04:56 and it will take all eternity to get to know them well.
04:59 If we meet a new friend everyday,
05:00 it will still last through our eternity,
05:02 that's an exciting prospect, isn't it?
05:04 Well, we're here tonight, we're going to get
05:06 a wonderful message, wonderful music,
05:08 but before we do all of that, let's bow our heads in prayer.
05:12 Heavenly Father, we do praise You
05:13 and thank You for being our loving God,
05:16 our savior and our friend.
05:18 We thank You for the assurance
05:20 that You are by our side that we are never alone,
05:24 that we serve a God who has all power,
05:28 a God above all gods, truly there is no God like You,
05:32 a miracle working God
05:33 who controls countless stars and universes
05:38 and yet You're concerned about each and every one of us.
05:42 And You sent Your son to die for each and every one of us.
05:47 You're a miracle working God.
05:48 You're a saving God. You're a gracious God.
05:52 What a wonderful God You are.
05:55 We love You. We praise You.
05:58 We acknowledge and thank You for Your presence
06:00 and Your power on this Your Sabbath day,
06:03 and in this Your house of prayer in Jesus' name.
06:07 Amen and amen.
06:12 Our special music will be brought to us by our pastor
06:16 and our friend John Lomacang,
06:18 and then we are going to have a scripture lesson
06:22 brought to us by Donnie Shelton,
06:26 and then music by Michel Settle,
06:31 and oh, you know, what?
06:33 We got to make some changes. Let's make a couple of changes.
06:36 First let's bring our Pastor Lomacang
06:38 to do his music just now.
06:39 John, if you come on out, we will do your music just now,
06:42 then we'll take our scripture lesson.
06:53 I am crucified with Christ
06:57 Therefore I no longer live
07:01 Jesus Christ now lives in me
07:08 I am crucified with Christ
07:12 Therefore I no longer live
07:16 Jesus Christ now lives in me
07:23 I am crucified with Christ
07:27 Therefore I no longer live
07:31 Jesus Christ now lives in me
07:38 I am crucified with Christ
07:42 Therefore I no longer live
07:46 Jesus Christ now lives in me
08:05 Embrace the cross
08:09 Where Jesus suffered
08:13 Though it will cost
08:16 All you claim as yours
08:20 Your sacrifice will seem small
08:24 Beside the treasure
08:27 Eternity can't measure
08:31 What Jesus holds in store
08:39 Embrace the love
08:44 The cross requires
08:48 Cling to the one
08:51 Whose heart knew every pain
08:56 Receive from Jesus
08:59 Fountains of compassion
09:02 Only He can fashion
09:06 Our hearts to move as His
09:12 Oh, wondrous cross our desires rest in you
09:19 Lord Jesus make us bolder
09:27 To face with courage the shame and disgrace
09:34 You bore upon Your shoulder
09:46 Embrace the life
09:51 That comes from dying
09:55 Come trace the steps the Savior walked for you
10:03 An empty tomb Concludes Golgotha's sorrow
10:10 Endure then till tomorrow
10:14 Your cross of suffering
10:23 Embrace the cross
10:27 Embrace the cross
10:32 The cross of Jesus
10:47 Embrace the cross
11:03 Amen. Thank you so very much.
11:08 I don't imagine there is any better feeling,
11:11 there is any greater satisfaction than to know
11:15 that you have been used by God,
11:18 that identifies you a day when you lie upon your bed,
11:21 you have that very special feeling that comes
11:26 when you know that you have been an instrument
11:28 in the hand of God to lift up the name of Jesus,
11:32 to hasten the coming of the Lord
11:34 and to touch the lives of men and women.
11:37 That is a felling that I suspect Danny Shelton
11:39 has had for nearly a quarter of a century,
11:42 when we look at what has been wrought by God.
11:47 We cannot give Him too much praise--
11:49 too much praise and no glory,
11:53 because God does not share His praise nor His glory.
11:56 All glory, all praise belongs to Him.
12:01 And yet we must give honor where honor is due.
12:06 That God chose someone who is just dumb enough
12:12 to listen to the voice of God
12:15 and to follow where God was pleased to lead.
12:21 That is the legacy that Danny Shelton leaves
12:23 for this ministry that he is to this ministry.
12:26 He had just enough sense to listen to the voice of God,
12:31 and allow God to do what God does best,
12:34 and that's be God.
12:36 And so tonight after Donnie Shelton
12:38 read the scripture lesson,
12:40 the next voice will that of Danny Shelton
12:43 our founder, our friend.
12:51 Thank you brother, C.A, so much.
12:53 So glad you all could join us to see me,
12:55 you are ready for miracle tonight.
12:56 Amen.
12:57 If you got your Bible, let's turn to Mathew 28,
13:02 we gonna read verses 18, 19 and 20.
13:06 Mathew 28:18, 19, 20.
13:10 Let's read that together please.
13:12 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
13:15 all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
13:20 Go you therefore, and teach all nations,
13:23 baptizing them in the name of the Father,
13:26 and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
13:29 Teaching them to observe all things
13:32 whatsoever I have commanded you
13:35 and, lo, I am with you always,
13:38 even unto the end of the world."
13:40 Amen.
13:48 I'm happy to be a part of this program tonight,
13:51 and we've heard many great talks
13:54 and people, but I for one,
13:55 I think I could hear about miracles
13:58 night after night after night after night
14:00 because it tells us about God.
14:02 And it's a remainder of who we are and who God is.
14:07 And so people ask me a lot,
14:09 and over the years we've seen lots of miracles.
14:11 Now known to the world
14:13 they may seem like coincidences,
14:16 they may seem like accidents, they may seem like flukes,
14:21 but to Christians,
14:22 to those of us living in the spiritual,
14:25 we understand that a miracle
14:27 and people ask me, what is a miracle?
14:29 And I say, a miracle is when man can't and God can, right?
14:33 A miracle-- a miracle has--
14:35 there is a reason for miracle,
14:37 and that's when God supplies the impossible.
14:41 Is that all right? You with me?
14:43 God supplies the impossible.
14:45 Otherwise there is no way to look at it,
14:47 no way that it could had happen,
14:49 your need could be supplied except through a divine power,
14:54 which is of course we don't have.
14:57 So I'm very happy tonight
15:00 to be able to talk to you about miracles
15:03 and I want to start off with a little story,
15:05 I always have to say,
15:06 I'm not a preacher nor a son of a preacher,
15:08 and-- but I do love to share about God
15:12 and His goodness and His love,
15:14 and I want people to know if you've done already
15:17 and many of you do
15:18 and many of you are sitting here
15:19 as we share miracles night after night,
15:22 you are sharing your own miracles
15:23 and recounting the miracles of how God saved you.
15:28 And so tonight it's a privilege
15:31 as I count back, I want to talk about--
15:34 we can talk about miracles of finances,
15:36 we can talk about $100,000 miracle
15:39 or even an $800,000 miracle
15:41 or even several million dollars miracles,
15:43 but that's not really a miracle
15:45 isn't limited to finances, right?
15:47 A miracle is when we have a need,
15:50 no way that this need can be met,
15:52 but we turn to our heavenly father
15:54 and He supplies that need, sometimes it's financial,
15:57 sometimes it could be health,
15:59 sometimes it may be numerous reasons,
16:01 but I want to take you back number of years ago,
16:04 around 1981, I was carpenter by trade
16:09 and I fell I was playing basketball,
16:11 fell and broke my wrist,
16:12 broke the navicular bone in my wrist,
16:14 which I didn't know I had such a bone,
16:17 but they tell me that I did, so when the doctor,
16:19 I went to the hospital and he put on a cast
16:21 and I said, how long will this be on?
16:23 And he's a foreign doctor, had a foreign accent,
16:26 which I had a little hard time understanding him,
16:28 and he said four to six months at least
16:32 and so I thought he didn't know English very well,
16:34 and I helped him and I said, so you mean four to six weeks?
16:37 He said, no I mean four to six months,
16:40 but it will be two or three different casts.
16:42 Well and I said why?
16:43 Well, you broke the rotator bone
16:45 and be began to tell me all about it,
16:48 all I knew is this-- I didn't know
16:50 what I was gonna do, I'm a carpenter,
16:52 I have no money in the bank, no savings, nothing,
16:55 lived from week to week, pay the bills, that's it.
16:58 Buy groceries and no money really to spare
17:01 and so I have to work, don't have insurance,
17:05 and so there is no income coming,
17:07 no work means no income,
17:08 just kind of working in business for myself
17:12 and for few years I worked with my brother Kenny
17:15 and my brother Ronny.
17:16 And so here I was in a position
17:20 not gonna have any work for several months,
17:22 so then I began to get serious with God, right?
17:26 Sometimes we wait till-- till we getting the pickle,
17:28 getting a jam, and so then we--
17:31 we began to get serious with God,
17:34 and so that's really what happened to me,
17:35 I said, how I'm gonna do this?
17:37 How is this gonna-- gonna work?
17:39 So week or two went by and somehow I don't know
17:42 how we made it, can't even explain it,
17:44 but about the second Sabbath, after I had the cast on my arm
17:47 I went to church, they passed the offering plate
17:51 and I reached in my pocket,
17:55 and I knew how much was there, I pulled out $2.
17:57 Now, folks, I'm telling you with my hand up,
18:00 $2 was all I had to my name,
18:01 I didn't have a savings account,
18:03 didn't have a checking account with money in it,
18:06 had $2 to my name.
18:08 So when the offering plate came by,
18:12 I reached in my pocked, and I said I need to put in
18:15 'cause I mean I got to pay something,
18:17 you know, tithes and offerings,
18:19 but then I said, or this little voice said to me,
18:24 oh, you can't do that, if you put in that $2,
18:27 you won't have anything, you can't put in that $2,
18:31 I mean God doesn't expect you to put in your last $2, right?
18:36 I mean, surely He's not gonna do that to you, you got $2,
18:40 so I said, well, whoever said that
18:43 it made sense to me, I said all right,
18:45 my voice said, little voice in my head,
18:46 and I said okay, so I put the $2 back in my pocket,
18:50 felt pretty good about it
18:51 until the deacon conjures to it,
18:53 to church member they collect your offering
18:54 and stand on to back.
18:56 And then they would say,
18:57 praise God from whom all blessing flow
19:00 and then they start walking forward, right?
19:02 Well as the deacons come from the back
19:03 started walking forward, this other little voice said,
19:07 you might as well put the $2 in,
19:10 and it was basically as though God was speaking.
19:11 I will paraphrase it,
19:13 I might as well put it in and give me a chance
19:15 because what good is $2 gonna do you anyway really?
19:19 I mean what's it gonna buy you?
19:20 What's $2 gonna buy you?
19:23 You know, a loaf of bread, a gallon of milk,
19:26 I don't know what it cost back at the time?
19:29 But what's $2 gonna cost you?
19:31 What's it gonna do for you?
19:33 So I said, I'm gonna put this money
19:35 and so I reached back in my pocket,
19:37 and just as the deacons went by and I threw in the $2.
19:41 On the way home after church,
19:44 driving from out east to west Frankfurt a little bit,
19:47 we had a church that we build that there
19:49 and I guess late 70s
19:51 and was headed into West Frankfurt,
19:52 I lived on the west side of West Frankfurt,
19:55 in the west end out in the little area
19:56 called Pershing.
19:57 So I was coming down the little height hill
19:59 we call it in by for me with that all of your transplants
20:02 here to Southern Illinois, now you probably,
20:03 I don't if you know they call that the height hill
20:06 when you go into West Frankfurt,
20:07 there's that little hill that kind of looks down
20:09 on the rest of the cities.
20:10 So I was going down there, heading up
20:12 and all of the sudden came right pass the post office
20:15 and there's a stop light there,
20:17 and so my mind was, what am I gonna do?
20:21 I got a family, no money, zero.
20:25 Now I didn't have rich parents, I didn't have rich relatives,
20:29 and I had too much pride to go say
20:31 I need some money, can you help me.
20:34 Someone probably would have, I'm sure they would have.
20:36 But I wasn't gonna say look I don't have any money
20:39 can you help me?
20:40 So I come to the stop sign,
20:43 I'm sure my mind is thinking about it,
20:45 stop lights actually.
20:47 And the lady is crossing the street,
20:50 and I just happened to look at a lady
20:51 and she looks up at me and she does this and she goes,
20:56 pulls over and I recognize the lady,
20:59 I knew her, hadn't seen her in a long time,
21:01 but she is pulling me over.
21:03 I'm going after church, talked it a little while,
21:06 driving home, go to the stop light
21:09 and this lady crossing the street exactly
21:12 when I'm there to stop light, walking motions me over
21:16 and I said-- I have to admit God forgive me,
21:18 I said, oh, no, I wonder what she wants.
21:22 I did, well, I had nothing to loose,
21:24 I didn't have nothing to give her, right?
21:26 She want money, no, you won't get it from me.
21:28 I don't have any, so I said,
21:31 oh, no, I wonder she wants?
21:33 So I pulled over near the curb.
21:34 And she come over
21:35 and she was almost out of breath,
21:37 she said, oh, am I so glad to see you.
21:40 And I said, really? Why is that?
21:42 Now I'm not in the greatest of moods,
21:44 I just came home from church,
21:45 but I don't have any money,
21:46 some how $2 felt a little bit better than nothing, right?
21:50 So I'm sitting here and I said really?
21:52 Why is that?
21:53 She goes, well, you remember she said about--
21:56 and I don't know, and I can't remember,
21:58 it was something like 10 years ago,
22:00 10 years ago you remember November,
22:02 when I came to your house?
22:04 And they were gonna cut off my electric bill
22:07 and I didn't have any money,
22:08 I couldn't get any money from anybody,
22:11 and you loan me a $109?
22:15 And I said no, I'm sorry, I really don't.
22:17 And she says, no, remember,
22:19 I came out with my daughter, we didn't have any place to go,
22:23 we came to your house and knocked on the door,
22:25 and said I got to have help, will you helped me.
22:28 And she said, you gave-- you loan me a $109,
22:32 and all of a sudden I said, oh, yeah, I remember that
22:35 but I didn't loan it you, I gave it to you.
22:38 Now see the reason I gave it to her,
22:40 as I thought I knew the people
22:42 and I said if I loan them they'll never pay me
22:44 and then I will hard feelings at them,
22:46 so if I give it to them, hey, right?
22:49 It's nothing to worry about now.
22:50 Anytime I see them, they don't owe me anything.
22:52 So I gave her $109,
22:54 she said well, you may think you gave it me,
22:57 but I've always said if I ever get the money
23:00 I'm gonna pay you back, and she said just this week--
23:04 well, I don't know what that she sold,
23:05 I sold something and I have the money,
23:07 she reached in her pocket pulled out a $109
23:10 and said, here I want to give to you.
23:12 All right.
23:13 Now that's a coincidence. No.
23:16 That was just a fluke.
23:18 Right, Brandi Len, that's just a fluke,
23:20 I mean those things,
23:21 don't that happen to you all the time?
23:24 No, doesn't happen all the time
23:26 but it will happen to you just when you need it.
23:28 Yes.
23:29 Anybody ever had something like that?
23:31 I mean the story that C.A,
23:33 he could tell me that every week
23:34 and I still love it,
23:36 little lady sitting there, right, you remember?
23:39 Was that New York City somewhere John,
23:41 and had no money back in the depression time
23:44 and she is praying God will do miracle,
23:46 and a dollar bill floats into window
23:48 gets there and back in the 30s
23:50 or whenever that was, that would buy enough
23:52 groceries to get you buy for a while.
23:55 Brother Tory, shaking his head,
23:56 you can remember not quite that far
23:58 but quite a ways back, can't you?
24:00 That would buy you a whole lot more.
24:02 Now I can hear stories like that everyday
24:04 and I never get tired of them.
24:06 Now, the world could have said
24:08 wow, what a coincidence,
24:11 the guy is coming home from church,
24:13 now sometimes, well, I talk a little bit, right.
24:17 So after church I don't know
24:18 I always just come exactly home,
24:20 sometimes I talk and visit whatever,
24:23 then the timing of me driving, now had I called this person
24:27 and said look meet me at the stop lights
24:29 when I come home from church,
24:31 we would have never met at same time, right.
24:33 Let's plan to meet at the stop sign,
24:35 would we have met time?
24:37 No way.
24:38 Now but the time, the first time in 10 years
24:42 however long had been that I literally was down to $0
24:47 she was there.
24:49 Now I don't know what she is doing up town,
24:52 but I know where she ended up and why?
24:55 And I'd think I know who sent her.
24:56 A $109, now folks that's just as bigger miracle
25:00 as when we need a $90,000 for transponder bill,
25:04 just a bigger miracle
25:05 because I want to tell you what?
25:06 3ABN is never gone black,
25:08 but if the signals never gone black
25:10 but if you don't pay the bill what happens?
25:13 They cut you off, right? Unplug it.
25:16 So here we are, every month for years the money comes in,
25:22 we almost take it for granted.
25:24 We gonna pay the transponder bill,
25:25 yeah, we are tight, but there is enough money.
25:27 We can take from here to there,
25:29 we will pay this transponder bill
25:30 but one particular month,
25:33 we get ready to go and the money is not there.
25:35 We don't have money to get from.
25:38 We didn't even have a letter of credit at the time.
25:40 No way we could in emergency get it.
25:42 So Larry Welch goes and gets the mail,
25:45 I'm going in to do a program and I tell the folks,
25:48 don't worry about it,
25:49 they said today is the last day,
25:51 we have to have money
25:53 or they gonna cut our transponder off.
25:54 I said, oh, don't worry about it,
25:57 I'm almost there or getting about it,
25:58 don't mean to be, but hey,
25:59 God always supplies the need, don't worry about it,
26:02 don't give it another thought.
26:04 So we go in, I go do my program,
26:07 I come back out,
26:09 Larry Welch comes in with the mail
26:11 'cause I said Larry is in town he's got the mail,
26:13 he's gonna bring back the money.
26:15 Larry comes in open up the money and guess what?
26:19 It's no $90,000.
26:22 Some of you went like this, now there was no $90,000,
26:27 now that's set me for loop
26:29 'cause they said there is no money in the mail,
26:32 I said, there's got to be.
26:33 No money in the mail.
26:35 And so I went into office
26:36 and I said, Lord something is wrong,
26:38 something is wrong,
26:40 I don't care how mad You are at me,
26:42 what I have done?
26:44 I know You love that everybody around the world
26:46 that needs to hear this message more than that,
26:48 so forgive me if it's me,
26:50 but I know you care about these other people,
26:53 there is got to be some money somewhere.
26:56 So I go back in the office and I don't know
26:59 if there is your office at the time
27:01 may be in one of the others.
27:02 I go back in the office and so I'm going through mail
27:07 just personal letters and there was a letter
27:11 that they hadn't given in the regular stack,
27:14 and it was a certified letter,
27:17 so I looked at it and I said, what's that?
27:21 They said, oh, it's just a certified letter,
27:24 I said, well, let's open it up and see what's in it?
27:27 They opened it up with my hand up,
27:30 I tell you this before God as my witness,
27:32 there was a check for $90,000 from somebody.
27:36 Now does God supply every need? Yes.
27:38 He does and does He do it on time?
27:40 Yes. He sets on time.
27:42 I tell you what it did for me,
27:44 it made me take, Lord, thank You,
27:46 I was a lot more grateful next moth when it was paid,
27:49 because I began to just take it for granted.
27:51 Oh, it's no big deal,
27:53 God's gonna do it, but you know what?
27:55 I think sometimes He has to get our attention,
27:57 and say you know, look this ain't about you,
27:59 this is about Me, C.A said a while ago,
28:02 somebody said God doesn't share the glory,
28:04 and He doesn't and won't
28:06 and we sure don't want to try to take it, do we?
28:08 I used to tell people, that--
28:11 I said, I won't take any credit
28:13 for anything at 3ABN that goes on.
28:15 Then later I said, no, I'm sorry,
28:17 I'm gonna have to take the credit
28:19 for all the bad things that happened, right.
28:22 You don't give credit bad things to God,
28:25 that's individual.
28:26 So I will take the credit for the bad things, Jim
28:28 but for the good things, we give God the credit.
28:32 So I want to talk to you for just a little bit
28:35 today about miracles and I could just tell one story
28:38 after another after another,
28:40 but I want to talk about why God uses people,
28:44 why He uses miracles in people's lives?
28:48 And to me I don't know I'm not a theologian,
28:51 as I mentioned while ago,
28:52 I haven't been as I mentioned several times,
28:54 I've never been to the cemetery, a seminary
28:58 we get those confused sometimes,
28:59 you know, I do, no, but I've never been there
29:02 so but I don't claim to be a preacher or theologian,
29:05 but my little mind says there must be a reason
29:08 why does God do miracles for people?
29:11 I've talk to people said,
29:12 you know, I never see miracle in my life,
29:15 and I can almost assure you
29:16 those people spend their time sitting.
29:20 See I believe when Jesus said
29:21 as Donnie read go ye into all the world
29:24 that when Jesus commissioned us to do that
29:27 He's gonna supply every need,
29:29 and that means it's too big for me,
29:32 for instance for me and for you to reach the world.
29:36 So God says if you will just go forward
29:38 and trust Me in faith, I will supply your every need,
29:41 and that's exactly what He does,
29:43 and that becomes a miracle, there is no way,
29:46 I had $90,000 to pay that bill, there is no way,
29:50 that I had a $109 to buy groceries with,
29:56 and to pay whatever bills we paid with.
29:58 You see God is a God who says,
30:00 look I'm gonna give you a job to do
30:02 if you trust me and if you go forward,
30:05 I'm gonna show myself, so a miracle is when God
30:09 and it may be a veiled way He shows Himself.
30:12 But if you are in the spiritual realm,
30:14 you understand it and you see God,
30:16 and you experience that and all of a sudden
30:19 that's enough to keep you going,
30:21 makes you want to say praise the Lord, right, Mac?
30:23 Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
30:26 when you see God doing what He does best.
30:29 I was thinking about, John, you preached
30:31 a great sermon last week on Gideon.
30:34 And I said if John doesn't mind,
30:35 I'm gonna just finish that sermon for him,
30:37 he didn't quite have the time to finish it,
30:40 and I want to finish it for you because the story of Gideon
30:44 so much relates to you and me today,
30:46 that is absolutely amazing.
30:48 We heard John told us the whole story
30:50 of how it ended up with 300 men,
30:52 and they got around the 135,000
30:55 or whatever the figure is of the enemy,
30:58 and instead of taking their knives and swords
31:00 and all of these things, of all things God told him
31:04 take a trumpet, take a pitcher, put a light,
31:08 when Gideon says when I give the word
31:10 blow the trumpet, break the pitcher,
31:13 lift up the light,
31:14 and the beauty of that is it so reminds us of ourselves
31:18 what happen these men had quit, quit operating in the physical.
31:22 They had totally gone to the spiritual
31:24 because in the physical they are gonna die.
31:27 Now, all of them that went home they worth in the physical,
31:31 they saw that's not good odds, that's bad odds,
31:35 we're gonna die, I'm not gonna die,
31:37 I got a wife and kids at home,
31:39 I got this at home, I'm not prepared to die,
31:42 but when we get to the 300 that were left
31:45 these were men who were living by faith.
31:48 Faith to me is when-- when you can't see any farther
31:52 that's when your faith begins,
31:53 when your side ends your faith begins, right?
31:56 Side ends your faith begins.
31:58 And so here these guys are surrounding
32:01 and they really didn't care
32:03 because they said whatever happens,
32:05 I will God honor and glory.
32:06 Some of those men may have actually felt like
32:08 we're gonna die tonight, but it's for a cause.
32:11 We are trusting God if it's my time to go,
32:13 I'm gonna go.
32:15 Others may have just said,
32:16 I can't wait to see what God's gonna do?
32:19 But the men were all operating in faith,
32:21 but the beauty of this story is and how it relates to us,
32:25 number one in 1 Corinthians I think it's 14:8 says,
32:28 "For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound,
32:30 who shall prepare himself for the battle?"
32:33 So what happens is when these guys,
32:35 you imagine all the enemies probably asleep
32:38 and hearing 300 trumpeters
32:40 that's enough to scarce anybody, right?
32:42 So these men-- the enemy all jumped up,
32:44 now there weren't street light,
32:46 they didn't have all the lights it was dark I presume,
32:50 so all of these men were very confused
32:53 but the beauty of this story is--
32:55 is when they gave the trumpeters certain sound,
32:58 I'm sure it was a bugle, it was something,
32:59 it was some that they knew the big group
33:03 the enemy said, wow or the bad--
33:05 I'm gonna say the bad guys, right?
33:06 The bad guys and good guys, the bad guys said,
33:08 there must be hundreds of thousands of these,
33:11 if they got all of these many trumpeters
33:13 how many people do they have is gonna get ready--
33:15 you know, coming with swords to kill us,
33:18 so here is all of these people
33:19 but the beauty of this is they did what the Lord asked,
33:22 they gave the trumpeters certain sound.
33:24 Now when they did that and they broke the pitcher,
33:28 the pitcher represents self.
33:29 You see when you and me break the pitcher of self,
33:33 the light shines, Jesus says,
33:35 "I'll be lifted up from the earth
33:36 will draw all men unto Me."
33:38 Isn't that beautiful?
33:39 Think about it, so here what really happened
33:41 is the people died to self and when they did it
33:45 Jesus was the one shining through.
33:47 He is the light of the world,
33:48 and now when Jesus is shining through,
33:51 He is gonna fight your battles for you,
33:53 the enemy confused and confounded
33:56 most of them destroy themselves
33:58 because they were attacked and they thought
34:00 somebody pulling and fumbling around in the dark
34:02 and they're like who is this?
34:03 I better kill him, it must be some of those guys
34:06 it's out there with the big group
34:08 that's blowing all the trumpets.
34:09 You can imagine what that's like.
34:11 But the beauty of it is you see,
34:13 all we have to do go forward by faith,
34:16 break the pitcher of self, lift up Jesus,
34:20 I if I be lifted up from this earth
34:21 will draw how many men?
34:23 All men unto me. Isn't that beautiful?
34:26 And that's exactly what God wants to do today
34:28 and what He is doing in our lives today.
34:30 If we are willing to go forward by faith,
34:33 God will supply our every need
34:35 and I love Him for that, and I'm thankful.
34:37 Donnie said something earlier,
34:39 when he was giving little devotion,
34:41 too bad it wasn't on the air but Donnie said
34:44 whether it's me or whether it's you,
34:46 we can take no glory, no credit for anything
34:49 and even in our own personal salvation
34:51 for what we did last week or 10 years ago,
34:54 it's what we do for Jesus today that counts.
34:57 Isn't that right?
34:58 It's what we do for Jesus today
35:00 that counts nothing else really matters.
35:02 We are not gonna go to heaven
35:03 because we did some big thing for God back whenever.
35:07 What God needs today is soldiers,
35:09 His warriors who is willing to go forward by faith,
35:12 and God loves showing Himself through miracles.
35:17 God, I'm sure He takes great pleasure in it,
35:19 but you know what?
35:21 The sad part is some of us are so asleep,
35:23 we don't even realize.
35:24 We are so caught up in the world,
35:26 we sometimes miracles passes by and we don't even see them,
35:31 because we too are sleep, we too are confused.
35:34 And the Lord is saying, look, I want to show Myself,
35:36 I want to show you that I'm with you.
35:39 I've commissioned you to go unto all the world
35:41 and as Walt Thompson said
35:43 God countered His resources in advance
35:45 and found that he is not wanting,
35:46 so the job is not impossible but it is impossible for us
35:51 but not with God on our side.
35:54 Miracles can be big, miracles can be small.
35:58 Once again miracle to me is when I can't, God can,
36:03 it's when God supplies the need that's just impossible.
36:07 When I finally decided with the little family
36:11 we are gonna go into music ministry.
36:13 This was in late 70s probably 78, 79
36:18 somewhere in there may be 80, may be 1980.
36:21 We are going to music ministry.
36:23 We went and brought a little PA system,
36:25 never forget it,
36:27 didn't know where to go, go to sing,
36:28 didn't know who to tell people that we sing?
36:31 Melody was nine years old and when she was born
36:34 we dedicated her to the Lord, named her Melody in faith,
36:36 God would give her musical abilities
36:38 and said, Lord, we'll raise her in an atmosphere
36:41 free of any other type of music,
36:42 but we want you to honor that
36:44 and to give her a musical ability,
36:46 a musical gift so we named her Melody.
36:48 So at nine years old we said all right,
36:50 we are ready to do this.
36:52 So now I knew nothing about spiritual warfare.
36:55 I'm young, I'm a carpenter,
36:58 I went to church every Sabbath,
37:00 I love the Lord somewhat legalistic in my beliefs,
37:04 didn't really have the love relationship with Jesus
37:06 that I sure have had, and still growing in that area,
37:10 but still yet I felt that I needed to do something,
37:13 I didn't know that all hell would break loose,
37:16 when I decided to work for God.
37:18 I didn't know that.
37:20 I thought this is peace of cake,
37:22 this little girl can sing, her mother can sing,
37:25 I can sing, God's blessed us,
37:27 our family can sing, we can go out
37:28 and do this thing, that's no big deal.
37:31 Well, boy, did I learn some lessons?
37:33 Right? Did I learn some lessons?
37:35 There's some you gonna learn lessons too
37:37 in case you are laughing at me
37:38 this will could happened to you,
37:40 but in-- very serious when you step out
37:43 and do what God asked you to do,
37:45 Satan will be furious.
37:47 Go ye unto all the world.
37:48 So we've-- we talk to a pastor, first church of God,
37:53 and down in oh, Creal Springs I think it is.
37:57 Daniel I believe it's Joe Daniel's,
37:59 and Joe is watching, God bless you, great guy,
38:02 first church of God and he said to me.
38:04 What do you guys, saw him in a grocery store,
38:06 what you're all doing?
38:07 I said, well, are you singing any of your family?
38:10 He knew Tommy and the rest of my family,
38:11 I said well, you know, we just got a PA system,
38:14 we're gonna start singing in churches.
38:16 Come to my church and it's like week
38:17 after next Sunday morning,
38:19 come and sing for us, I said, really?
38:21 Yeah, come and sing-- willing to take up an offering
38:23 he said for you, I said well, that's good.
38:26 Can't imagine somebody you go sing
38:28 and then somebody pay you to sing too,
38:29 that's good, right?
38:31 So he said let's go like a week from Sunday.
38:33 I said, we'll be there.
38:34 So I went home told everybody guess what?
38:36 We gonna have this, we better practice,
38:38 get all of our songs down,
38:39 we're gonna do our first concert.
38:41 Little church of God in Creal Springs.
38:43 About three or four days later may be five days later
38:48 I forget what it was, less then a week later
38:50 we are looking on like Monday or Tuesday
38:52 for the coming Sunday morning, we gonna be singing,
38:55 Melody comes home from school.
38:58 She is being going to school
38:59 I think this is September or something,
39:01 comes home from school and all of a sudden her face
39:04 begins to swell up,
39:06 and it gets worse and worse and worse
39:09 and all of-- over a period of a day
39:11 or so her eyes were almost totally swollen shut.
39:15 I'll never forget we went into a--
39:17 we took her to a doctor you know, what she had?
39:19 Poison ivy, she'd got her on hands
39:21 very allergic to, wiped it in her eyes
39:23 so her poor little girl's face was totally swollen,
39:27 I-- I walk passed the mirror with her,
39:30 I was walking holding her hand, she could hardly see
39:32 and she looked in the mirror, she got real close
39:34 and she goes, daddy I look like a monster.
39:37 Now those of you got kids that will break your heart, right?
39:40 Little girl said, daddy, I look like a monster.
39:43 I said honey, you are beautiful to me,
39:45 you are not a monster, you are beautiful.
39:46 So I said we got to do something.
39:49 Here we are singing on Sunday and now this is may be Thursday
39:53 or so it's getting very close Friday to singing,
39:58 doing some for God for the first time,
40:00 to stand up and say all right,
40:01 we gonna do something as a family,
40:03 and then this happens.
40:04 So when we take her to the doctor
40:06 they said well, we can't really do anything about it,
40:08 this time next year we suggest you get shots in advance
40:12 but it's just got to run its course.
40:13 I said surely you can do something.
40:15 No, they said this is just gonna
40:16 probably take a week, 10 days it will just run its course.
40:20 So I didn't know what to do, I went home
40:21 and I prayed this to Lord what we gonna do?
40:23 Suddenly hit me, the devil's mad about this,
40:26 what can I do?
40:27 So I began to think of people, preachers,
40:30 I began to think of people that may be I had trust in
40:33 and all of a sudden, a lady's name came to mind,
40:39 Jewel Vanierd was in her 80s,
40:42 little saint loved the Lord so much,
40:43 went to West Frankfurt Church,
40:45 I remember mostly all of my life, wonderful lady,
40:48 when she was in her late 70s she used to go the hospital,
40:51 to do meals on wheels to feed people.
40:54 And so here Jewel Vanierd such a sweet little person
40:58 no preacher, no big orator,
41:01 just a woman who loves Jesus
41:03 and I knew that when Mrs. Vanierd prayed
41:05 God answered prayer.
41:07 So I called her, I said, sister Vanierd,
41:09 this is Danny I said we are in trouble.
41:13 Well, what's wrong, honey, she said.
41:15 I like it when older people call me honey,
41:17 it makes me feel young now, right.
41:19 So not too many of them do that anymore
41:20 but anyway, she said what can I do for you?
41:23 and I said-- I told her what happened
41:25 I said Melody has poisoned ivy,
41:26 she can't hardly see, her eyes are swollen shut,
41:29 and I said, we've got to suppose to sing
41:31 this coming Sunday morning at her first church of God
41:34 down in Creal Springs
41:37 and we are not gonna be able to sing
41:38 unless God does a miracle.
41:40 And she said-- so I said would you pray for her?
41:43 She goes now here's the lady probably 82, 83 years old,
41:47 she lives probably lives four five miles from us.
41:50 She says, okay, well, honey
41:52 let me get in my car and I will come over.
41:54 I said, no, no, we'll come to your house Mrs. Vanierd.
41:57 No, you stay there, I will come over to your house.
42:00 So she came to the house
42:02 and when you look at her I always remember,
42:05 you would say something to her, and she looked at Melody
42:06 and she is like oh, oh, she just had this sweet.
42:10 You ever see somebody like that?
42:12 The most I've ever been blessed by anybody singing in my life
42:15 when she is about a year or so
42:17 before she died in middle 80s got up and sing
42:20 Never grow old Where we'll never grow old
42:25 In a land where we'll never grow old
42:29 Never grow old Where we'll never grow old
42:34 In a land where we'll never grow old
42:39 Because she was looking forward to a new body.
42:44 Her body was not only old it was deteriorating,
42:47 but Jewel Vanierd came to our house
42:50 so I-- we knelt down she said let's kneel and pray,
42:53 she is so sweet.
42:55 And all she said was well, Lord, you see
42:58 what's happening to this little girl
43:01 and the devil's mad he doesn't want him
43:04 to work for Jesus, this family
43:07 so we ask you to heal her in Jesus' name and amen.
43:12 So I'm like almost disappointed,
43:14 I wanted some to feel electric shock,
43:17 I wanted somebody to wow, glory,
43:19 you know something I mean you want something to feel,
43:22 I didn't feel anything,
43:23 didn't feel any different to when I had prayed
43:26 several days before I prayed all day,
43:28 I mean not all day but several times a day
43:30 I would say, oh, Lord please help this little girl.
43:33 Finally I got so desperate,
43:34 I said I don't care if we sing it on Sunday
43:36 but just get let her hurry and heal, this is awful,
43:38 I don't want to see her miserable,
43:40 so Jewel Vanierd she says this little prayer
43:42 and she goes, well, I'm gonna go home
43:44 and she goes out the door
43:46 and gets in her car and takes off.
43:47 So I look at Melody, she looks at me,
43:49 we looked at each other,
43:51 nothing happened she still swollen up,
43:53 eyes swollen and I'm like,
43:55 well, honey just hang in there, it's all right,
43:58 it's all right God will-- God will take care of you.
44:01 I said I got to town, I was going to town
44:03 and I was going I didn't even want to look at her,
44:05 I thought Lord, why can't You do this
44:07 not for me, at least do it for her.
44:09 You know, this little girl were teaching You about You
44:11 God of mighty miracles that song
44:13 that you sing tonight C.A,
44:16 and can't you do it for her if nothing else.
44:18 So I go to town about an hour and half later
44:20 I come back, when I come back, the door is opening--
44:23 opened up, Melody is and--
44:25 the door went she goes daddy, come in quick, look,
44:29 my poison ivy is going away.
44:32 And you know what God did?
44:34 This is a amazing he didn't--
44:35 it wasn't like just getting lie all over
44:38 from here to her eyes was totally like
44:41 she would never had poison ivy an hour and half later
44:44 with in about three hours it was gone.
44:46 Sunday morning, we went to sing,
44:49 there was hardly any poison ivy anywhere on her body
44:52 and God had totally cleared her face.
44:55 Now that's a miracle, folks, you can call it a coincidence,
44:59 you can call it whatever you want,
45:00 the doctor said, its' gonna have to run its course,
45:02 well it did, till God said that's enough,
45:05 that's its course, it's done, it's time.
45:08 God will supply every need.
45:10 I want to ask Brother Hal Steenson
45:11 to come up for just a moment,
45:13 Hal and Mollie have--
45:14 had such an influence in my life
45:16 and I want-- I was telling you about
45:19 just a little bit ago, I was telling you
45:21 that at one point in my life,
45:22 I fell, I broke my wrist, and I couldn't really work.
45:26 Well, Brother Hal and Mollie they come up from Alabama,
45:29 and they had this little bitty store front in West Frankfurt
45:33 and so they over the next period of months
45:36 it seem like you guys always had some little something
45:38 I could come up and with one arm
45:40 and try to do a little something
45:42 and they give me a little love gift here and there
45:43 but one Thursday what happened is
45:46 it seem like all my miracles would run out,
45:49 I was out of money again, needed money,
45:51 I got a red-- when you get a red notice
45:54 from the electric company it's not good.
45:56 All right, I don't know if they change
45:57 'cause I've been fortunate enough
45:59 not to get the red one in quite a few years.
46:01 It's cut off time, when you get there.
46:03 I got a red notice and it says you are--
46:06 your electricity will be cut off Friday
46:10 that was it, dead line.
46:11 And they gave the date, Friday this date.
46:14 Well, all week nothing happened,
46:16 they give it to you about a week in advance
46:17 you know, after they warned you for like couple of months
46:20 and then they warn you and warn you
46:22 and finally so it's a cut off day,
46:24 no getting out of it.
46:25 So I go by the church and Brother Hal,
46:28 little bitty building,
46:29 little store front, he says hey,
46:31 we're having prayer meeting on Thursday night,
46:33 why don't you come and sing for us?
46:35 Bring your family and sing for our prayer meeting, and--
46:38 And let me give you a little bit history on this
46:40 because Danny and I had a mutual acquaintance,
46:43 Danny was doing some work for him at the time
46:45 and everyday I go by there and Danny would be singing
46:49 he and his Brother Kenny be singing everything,
46:52 and I asked our acquaint and I said,
46:53 you know, I think I need to have
46:55 that man come and sing for me,
46:56 he said oh, don't you know that he is SDA.
47:00 I thought may be that was those meat checking people,
47:03 USD I didn't know what it work, but he told me said,
47:05 he will be telling people all about the Sabbath.
47:07 But you know what?
47:09 He got to do what God tells you to do.
47:12 So Brother Hal asked us to come and sing
47:15 doesn't really know us, they're charismatic him
47:17 and Mollie starting a brand new little church,
47:20 asks us to come and sing on a Thursday night.
47:22 We go there, about how many people were there, Hal?
47:24 Probably 10 or 12 we-- that was a good night.
47:26 Yeah, it was a good night, yeah, 10 or 12 people
47:29 and probably three or four of those was kids,
47:31 there were three men in the audience, I notice that,
47:34 three men in the audience beside yourself
47:35 there was three guys in the audience.
47:38 So we sang for about 30 minutes and you stopped us.
47:43 Yeah, I was gonna receive an offering for you
47:45 and you wouldn't let me receive an offering for you.
47:48 Well, he was praying, he said,
47:50 you know, I'm gonna take up an offering
47:52 and I'm like man I need it now,
47:54 I know when there is 10 or 12 people
47:56 and several lot more children,
47:59 that you are not gonna get $164.
48:01 See this was Thursday night, Friday morning--
48:03 That's what you needed for your electric bill?
48:05 Electric bill is a $164.
48:07 But I thought well, even if I get 20 right,
48:09 you know, if we get $40 that would be fine.
48:12 So when Hal said I'm gonna take up an offering
48:17 so we just sat on the little front row,
48:20 and I think all the rest of the group was on row two
48:22 and so when we sat on the front row,
48:25 he said a prayer and I will never forget
48:28 you had I never seen that, you had offering plates
48:30 that had handles instead of round.
48:32 On their back so when people out
48:34 drop all their change in them, it didn't made all that noise.
48:37 Okay, yeah, well, okay, so he was saying our prayer
48:43 and I was happy, he gonna take up an offering
48:44 and this voice said to me
48:46 don't let him take up an offering,
48:48 I didn't like that voice,
48:50 I said a wait a minute, I need this offering.
48:54 You gonna trust the same thing with the $109,
48:56 the $2 I told you about.
48:58 You gonna trust me
49:00 or you gonna trust this offering?
49:03 So as soon as he got through prayer and I said--
49:07 No, I don't want you to receive an offering from,
49:08 I don't feel like you should deny it,
49:10 and I'm thinking, okay.
49:14 So we finished the program get ready to go
49:19 and the three guys, I shook hands with everybody
49:22 but the three I particularly remember,
49:24 I want-- I guess I can say their name,
49:25 one of them was Steve Adkins, friend of ours great guy.
49:28 He reached out and just shook hands with me--
49:30 There was Wane Griffin. Wane Griffin.
49:32 And the third guy was big guy
49:34 that nine feet tall had this beautiful glow about,
49:37 I think he was an angel.
49:39 I don't know who it was but I know these two guys
49:42 when I shook hands I felt something
49:44 and they just kind of looked at me and says for you,
49:46 so I understood it must be money,
49:48 I put it in my pocket, the next one,
49:50 all three of them, now to that day since
49:52 and I've been to hundreds and hundreds of churches
49:54 never had just three people come up right in a row
49:57 and have money, so I put it in my pocket,
50:00 got ready to leave, got little PA--
50:02 I don't know why we had a PA set
50:03 and that it's not as big as you know right here--
50:06 Yeah, it was just a little key.
50:07 I guess we want to try it was new.
50:09 You want to impress us with it.
50:10 So we kept it down so anyway right after that,
50:14 I got ready who's tearing a little PA set putting it up
50:17 and Brother Hal said, you know, I really feel like that,
50:22 that I want to give you something
50:23 and I said oh, no, and he said well the Lord's impressed me
50:25 to give you an offering and I said.
50:27 Brother Hal, if I was gonna do that
50:29 I knew they were just starting, I said if I were gonna do that
50:32 then I would let you take up an offering
50:34 that people gave the money.
50:35 Yeah, but then see what happen was
50:36 I had Walt back in the back, Mollie was sitting there
50:39 and I told her this is going to be sounds so strange,
50:43 but God's told me to give him an offering
50:46 even if we did not receive one for him
50:48 and told me a real unusual figure,
50:52 this is just really off the wall,
50:54 but those of you that out there watching this
50:56 listen to this when God speak to you,
50:58 you are not responsible for the end result,
51:01 you are responsible for obeying God.
51:03 So when God speaks to you, do what He tells you to do,
51:07 and so she wrote the cheque,
51:08 I put it in my pant and took it out.
51:11 And when I told you I didn't want it,
51:12 what you'd tell me?
51:13 You gonna take it, don't rob me out of a blessing.
51:16 So what he tell me he said, now you take it.
51:17 I said, no, I'm not gonna take it.
51:19 I feel bad I don't--
51:20 I know your church can't afford it,
51:22 and he got this close to me and he said,
51:23 listen don't rob me of a blessing.
51:26 And he went like this, who do you think you are?
51:27 Who do you think you are to rob me of a blessing?
51:29 Yeah, he said, who do you think
51:30 you are to rob me of a blessing?
51:32 I want to do what God's told me to do
51:34 and who you are to stop me
51:35 and I said well, in that case I will take it.
51:38 So I took it and he said to me know this is a weird amount,
51:41 you know, well charismatic say some of them
51:43 you know, I'm saying-- I took that the grain of salt,
51:46 it's okay Hal is a great guy but he gets little--
51:49 but you know it's all right.
51:51 So I put the check. I love him anyway.
51:53 Put-- yeah, put the check in my pocket go home,
51:57 well, I actually never made it to home.
51:58 You never got home, did you?
51:59 Did probably just soon as I saw your taillights leaving.
52:02 Yeah, pulled over, and I reached in my pocket,
52:06 and I pulled out the bills, and there was dollar bills
52:12 that each of the three guys, there were three 20$,
52:15 I never had that happen before or since,
52:17 three $20 bills, $60 I said that's amazing.
52:21 So I opened up the check and it was a $104,
52:26 now that's a weird amount, a $104
52:28 but if you can add it all a 104 plus 60 makes what?
52:34 And how much did I need Friday
52:36 the next day to pay electric bill?
52:37 Hundred and sixty four.
52:38 With my hand up, I'm telling the truth, aren't I?
52:41 Danny, You know, what so remarkable about
52:43 this is Danny could still sit here and tell you about
52:45 multi, multi, multi million dollar miracles
52:48 but that was just as big of a miracle
52:50 as a million dollar miracle because he had to have
52:53 and there are people out there
52:54 Danny that need to hear that
52:56 and I appreciate you sharing that.
52:57 Thank you for coming up.
52:59 I have reason to believe
53:03 In miracles
53:05 To expect them
53:08 Like the dawn expects the sun
53:14 And I will not accept defeat
53:18 For my trust in Him is complete
53:23 And my victory has already been won
53:29 Song says have you got a problem
53:31 well, that's nothing new.
53:32 I know just the one that you can turn to.
53:35 Right?
53:36 It's a simple secret I will share with you.
53:40 When you need Him, God is on your side,
53:42 I have reason to believe in miracles.
53:44 The second verse says mountains may tumble
53:47 and what is it mountains may tumble
53:49 and troubles pass melt away,
53:52 but it's when you simply turn to God
53:55 He will supply your every need.
53:57 I want to talk to the folks at home,
53:59 let you know that God is a God of mighty miracles,
54:01 that's why I love that song.
54:03 It Took a Miracle to hang the world,
54:05 put to world in place and hang the stars in place.
54:08 And, folks, we take it for granted,
54:09 we get so caught up in our own lives
54:13 in what we are doing
54:14 and I want to encourage each of us
54:16 and tonight for me
54:17 Lord open my eyes that I might see.
54:19 Give me eyes that I don't try to live on the past,
54:23 I don't try to live on what I think the future
54:25 but I live in Your will for my life
54:29 and each of us God has something great
54:31 and mighty marvelous He wants to do in your life
54:34 if we'll just let Him, that's all.
54:37 All we got to do is-- you know, the old saying
54:38 let go and let God, that's all we have to do.
54:42 I'm encouraged, I thank God for the ministry
54:45 of Three Angels Broadcasting Network.
54:46 I thank God for the nearly quarter of century
54:50 sounds almost impossible,
54:52 the young man is doing some work for me,
54:54 23 years old lives in Benton
54:57 and the other day he said something about
54:59 or I said something about the TV station
55:01 and he said oh, I want to go see it
55:03 some of these times, I've heard of 3ABN all of my live.
55:07 And this is a grown man working for me
55:09 doing some work for me and I looked at him
55:11 and I thought am I that old?
55:13 Is 3ABN that old? I've heard of 3ABN all my life.
55:17 Another young man that I met was about 6'5''
55:21 come up to me, big man I watched you ever since
55:24 I been a little bitty boy, he said,
55:27 I said wow, how long has it been Lord?
55:30 But I praise God for the ministry
55:32 of Three Angels Broadcasting Network,
55:34 I praise God for those many of you here
55:36 who God has brought to this area to join hands,
55:39 I'm thinking for Jim and Camille
55:41 that God has brought or John, C.A all of you,
55:43 I don't want to miss everybody's names.
55:45 Dee all of you, and that have given your lives
55:49 and your talents for the cause of God,
55:51 but I want to talk to you for home for second,
55:54 what is it that you God has called you to do?
55:57 He's given you something special,
56:00 something that only you can do.
56:03 And I believe right now if you let go and let God,
56:06 if you'll say Lord I'm gonna go forward,
56:08 I don't know what it is
56:10 but I want to see miracles in my life,
56:11 no, not for my own self not so people will say,
56:14 well, miracles following but I want to see
56:17 what you have in store for me
56:19 when I'm willing to do what you told me to do.
56:21 Go ye into all the world.
56:23 Preach the gospel to every nation,
56:25 kindred, tongue and people.
56:27 It's my prayer today that as you step forward
56:31 you will see God create miracles
56:33 after miracle in your life, let's pray.
56:35 Heavenly father we thank You for Your blessings.
