01:01 Good Morning! Good Morning!
01:03 Happy Sabbath! Happy Sabbath! 01:06 I believe it's a good day to be in the 01:08 house of the Lord this morning. Amen! 01:09 In saying that, I would like us to repeat 01:14 the first verse in that song, "Give Me Jesus" 01:17 In the morning when I rise, In the morning when I rise, 01:32 In the morning when I rise, Give me Jesus. 01:44 Give me Jesus, Give me Jesus, 01:53 You may have all this world, 02:02 Give me Jesus. 02:09 Beloved, I would like to acknowledge that can God 02:15 can sing to us, the program has been a blessing, 02:20 and I must say, as you have heard, 02:24 that this year is the year of evangelism. 02:27 God is preparing us for Michael. 02:36 But also in saying this, we all know 02:40 that the enemy of souls is ahead. 02:44 But be certain, we want to understand 02:48 that God is still in control. Amen? Amen! 02:52 Throughout my life, I've always wondered 02:56 why does God love me so much. 03:00 But today, as I stand before you, 03:02 I understand why He loves me. 03:05 Christ dying on the cross should be something 03:11 we need to be centered on so that we can understand 03:15 the whole plan of salvation. 03:18 This morning before we get into our message, 03:21 I would like to ask you to bow your heads in prayer... 03:26 Heavenly Father, Oh Lord, we come before Your 03:30 throne of grace, Lord, as humble as children. 03:33 Lord, we come to You, Lord, with our petitions, 03:37 with sorrowful hearts, bringing them to the foot of the cross, 03:42 asking, Lord, that You would take away anything, Lord, 03:45 anything that might stop us from seeing You. 03:49 This morning as we get to Your work, 03:51 we ask for the Holy Spirit to be with us 03:54 to impress upon our hearts to convict us 03:57 into all truth. 04:00 So Lord in heaven, we pray for this special blessing upon us. 04:04 I pray for all these things in Your name... Amen 04:09 Beloved, one great thing about the God that we believe in 04:14 is that He always deals with His people with love and mercy, 04:22 which you all know is the most striking evidence 04:27 of strength and impartial judgments. 04:31 If we look into the history, we see that God 04:36 always restored great blessings upon His work. 04:41 One example of the infinite love of God 04:44 was manifested when He gave His only begotten Son 04:48 to redeem the lost race. 04:51 Beloved, Christ came to this earth to reveal 04:56 to man the character of His Father and His life was filled 05:01 with deeds of divine tenderness and compassion. 05:06 If we look at the life of Moses, beloved, 05:10 when Moses was called by God, Moses was afraid, 05:18 but when Moses accepted the call, 05:22 God worked through him to be able to articulate his voice. 05:31 Many of us today, God will be calling us, 05:36 but we have this fear in us... 05:40 But beloved, I assure you, God will give you the words. 05:44 He will give you courage to reach out to anybody. 05:49 The mission is - the harvest is great, the laborers are few. 05:57 We need to accept His call. 06:00 We see that God had chosen him to lead the 06:06 children of Israel into the Promised Land. 06:10 Even though the Lord had proposed to redeem him, 06:13 and he saw rebellious Israel, Moses could not contend. 06:20 Though his trials had been great, 06:23 he had enjoyed special tokens of God's favor. 06:28 He had obtained a rich experience during his 06:31 sojourn in the wilderness. 06:34 He witnessed the manifestations of God's 06:36 power and glory and in the communion of His love, 06:41 he found that he had made the right decision in choosing 06:45 to suffer affliction with the power of God. 06:50 rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. 06:57 Beloved, just know God wants to 07:02 move us from being convinced to be a conqueror. 07:09 Moses wasn't ready, and the misfortune is that 07:15 he didn't reach the Promised Land, but saw it from 07:19 a distance because he failed to do one thing 07:22 which was to give God the glory of bringing water 07:25 from the rock of...? and this one sin 07:28 barred him from seeing the Promised Land. 07:32 But in reading through Scripture, that through their 07:36 facing the problems, he saw the things of God as just. 07:42 Beloved, I firmly believe that this is surely 07:46 encouraging through trials. 07:50 I'd like to share with you, this morning, a story, 07:53 and have you listen, some of you might be familiar with it; 07:58 some of you might not, but an interesting story 08:02 that I would like to share with you this morning. 08:04 It says, "During World War I, 08:07 and the Nazi forces were marching past you..." 08:10 Listen to this, "Hitler realized that at some point 08:15 the Allies would seek to invade the mainland," 08:21 most possible European, the Allies hoping to throw 08:26 Hitler off as to where the invasion would take place." 08:30 that's the plan. 08:32 They took the body of a deceased Navy sailor who had drowned 08:38 and they dressed him up in the garments of a high-ranking 08:41 Naval officer. 08:43 They gave him new identification papers, 08:48 and on his body, they placed some highly classified 08:52 documents showing a plan for the invasion of the 08:58 Eiffel Tower in France. 09:03 They released the corpse near the shore in France, 09:08 and the German military picked up the corpse 09:10 and found highly classified documents. 09:13 They transferred it to Hitler who became convinced 09:18 that the Allies would invade the mainland in...? 09:22 He looked at his military force in that area. 09:26 When the invasion actually took place, 09:29 beloved, Hitler was so sure and confident 09:34 that he thought Normandy was actually a diversion. 09:38 He failed to transfer the bulk of his military down to Normandy 09:42 to fight the Allies. 09:44 The Allies got Hitler looking in the what? Wrong? 09:48 Could it be, this morning, brothers and sisters, 09:54 that the devil has got most of us yet 09:58 looking in the wrong direction. 10:02 Could it be that the devil has got most of us yet 10:04 distracted from reaching the Promised Land. 10:07 As we wait for the return of our Lord and Savior 10:13 Jesus Christ, Satan will use many people 10:16 and many ways for us not to reach that Promised Land. 10:22 Beloved, it is said that we need to fix our eyes upon Jesus. 10:29 We are...? in the book of Ephesians 6:12, 10:34 it says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, 10:37 but against principalities of what? 10:40 ... against powers, against the rulers of the darkness 10:44 of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." 10:48 Beloved, we are at war with the devil. 10:52 We are at war with the devil 10:55 the greatest adversary that man has seen. 11:00 This morning, we will be looking into the perfect conquests 11:06 that was a handful of children of Israel. 11:08 During this time, the children of Israel had joined? 11:14 and renewed faith in God... 11:19 They had already gained possession of that territory, 11:22 and they were confident of the behavior contraindicated. 11:27 Only the people of Jordan made it into the Promised Land 11:33 So we ought to understand that country so we natural inhabitants 11:38 had been defiled by the inhabitants 11:41 in the public worship? Which was at that time the deity. 11:49 But inside of a place that was know for adultery and 11:53 licentiousness. The very name he suggested files 11:57 corruption of people. These surrounding 12:01 exerted a polluting influence upon the Israelites. 12:09 Inspiration tells us in "Patriarchs and Prophets," 12:12 p.453-454, she tells us that, "Their minds became familiar 12:19 with the vile thoughts constantly suggested. 12:23 their life of ease and inaction produced its generalizing 12:28 effects and almost unconsciously to themselves, 12:32 they were departing from God and coming into a condition 12:36 where they would fall and easy prey to temptation. 12:39 Beloved, we are told we need to give our hearts 12:46 and our minds to Christ daily. 12:49 Paul tells us that we need to do it daily. Amen? 12:55 But in saying that, I would like to invite you 12:59 to turn in your Bibles to Numbers 25, 13:04 I'll be reading from the New King James Version, 13:06 New King James Version, beginning from verse 1 13:11 It says, "While Israel was staying in Shittim" 13:17 Some versions say, "abode in Shittim" 13:22 The men began to indulge in sexual immorality 13:26 with the Moabite women." 13:29 Verse 2, "Who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods." 13:36 The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down 13:40 before these gods." 13:42 Verse 3, it says, "So Israel yoked themselves 13:47 to the Baal of Peor and the 13:49 Lord's anger burned against them." 13:51 Beloved, if we look into the lives of the children of Israel, 13:54 had God planned this for them? 13:58 God had planned for them to be in the Promised Land, 14:02 the land of milk and honey. 14:04 But as they were at the River Jordan, 14:13 they ended up joining themselves with the Baal of Peor. 14:19 And it says in verse 3, "And the Lord's anger 14:21 burned against them." 14:23 In verse 4, it goes on to say that "The Lord said to Moses, 14:27 "Take all the leaders of these people, kill them, 14:31 and expose them in broad daylight before the Lord, 14:35 so that the Lord's fierce anger may turn away from His wrath." 14:40 In verse 5, it goes on to say, "So Moses said to Israel's 14:44 judges, "Each of you must put to death those 14:48 of your people who have yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor." 14:54 Beloved, if you notice in verse 4 and 5, 14:57 here, we see God talking to Moses and what do we see 15:01 in verse 5? We see Moses listening to what God had said. 15:06 As you sit there, as you are here at this conference in 2014, 15:12 God is trying to talk to you, and what God 15:15 expects from me is to listen to His voice. 15:20 God is looking for soldiers who listen 15:24 and react to the call. Amen? 15:31 In verse 6, it goes on to say, "Then an Israelite man 15:36 brought into the camp a Midianite woman 15:39 right before the eyes of Moses, 15:41 and the whole assembly of Israel, while they were 15:45 weeping at the entrance of the tent of the meeting. 15:48 Beloved, do we see an act of rebellion right here in verse 6? 15:54 So, right now, many of you might be asking the question, 16:01 "Why did Israel join with the Moabites?" 16:08 And so it is, during the time of the encampment beside Jordan, 16:12 Moses was preparing for the occupation of Canaan. 16:17 It was the object of these women in their association 16:20 with the Hebrews. 16:21 Listen to these 3 points... 16:23 To seduce them into transgression 16:26 of the Law of God... 16:28 To draw their attention to heathen rites and customs. 16:33 Third point being - To lead them into idolatry. 16:37 Beloved, you remember the story of Hitler's allies 16:42 who devised the plan to throw him off 16:46 as to where the invasion would take place. 16:50 Here, we see that the Midianite women, 16:52 in their object to cause the Hebrews to fall 16:54 into their temptations. 16:56 Beloved, the devil is working 24 hours, so we need to be 17:02 24 hours in prayer, Amen? 17:07 The enemy of souls is not happy. 17:12 Let's move on... 17:14 The pen of inspiration says in Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 454, 17:20 She says, "These motives were studiously concealed 17:24 under the garb of friendship." 17:27 Let's stop for a minute... 17:29 Some of us, we have friends 17:31 that we cannot share about God to. 17:37 Sometimes I ask, "Why do we have those friendships?" 17:41 We need to have friendships that we're able to even pray 17:46 before we part ways. 17:49 We need to have friendships that we can sit down 17:53 and discuss the Word of God. 17:55 We're not saying, when we are called to be peculiar people, 18:00 we are called to be different. 18:02 And as we've been called to be different, 18:05 doesn't mean that we're better than everybody else. 18:09 We're being told the need to be peculiar and be firm 18:13 in what you believe. Amen? 18:18 So it goes on to say, "So that they were not suspected 18:24 even by the guardians of the people." You hear that? 18:27 They ventured upon the forbidden ground and were entangled 18:32 in the snare of Satan... 18:34 Beguiled with music and dancing and allured by the beauty 18:40 of heathen festivals, they cast off their filth to 18:43 to Jehovah as they united in mirth and feasting. 18:48 Indulgence in wine beclouded their senses and broke down 18:53 the barriers of self-control. 18:56 Beloved, this morning you might say, 18:59 "This is a bit too much for us." 19:01 This is a bit too much for us to take in. 19:05 Some of us, we have had friendships for 20 years, 19:09 15 years, but God wants you to make a choice. 19:16 Either you choose Him or you choose your friend 19:20 because there is and always will be a consequence. 19:24 This is not to fight in us, beloved, 19:33 do we see that Satan had taken control over them, 19:36 and they had forgotten the conquest that was ahead of them. 19:41 Because of these friendships, they had forgotten 19:43 about the Promised Land that God had promised them. 19:48 It could be anything, beloved. 19:50 It could be anything that we are holding on to 19:52 that might distract us from seeing who God really is 19:56 or what God has in store for us. 20:01 In verse 6, during this time, the priests and the leaders had 20:05 prostrated themselves in grief and humiliation. 20:09 The word "prostrated" means, they were bending down, 20:13 weeping for the children of Israel between the porch 20:20 and the altar and entreating the Lord to spare His people 20:24 and give not His heritage to reproach. 20:29 Are we praying for ourselves and for those that 20:34 we know are taking this path, beloved? 20:36 That's the question we got to 20:37 ask ourselves as we walk out through the doors... 20:40 as we go and lead our normal lives after this conference. 20:44 We have to ask ourselves... "Are we praying?" 20:49 Inspiration tells us that prayer 20:51 is the key in the hand of faith." Amen? 20:54 ...To open and unlock heaven's storehouse wherein 20:57 you store the boundless resources of what? 21:00 Omnipotence... that's what prayer is. 21:05 She goes on to say that, "It is talking to God 21:08 is as to a friend." 21:10 Those friendships - it's the same thing as 21:14 the gossiping, everything that we do in our spare time. 21:20 God wants us to talk to Him. 21:22 I love the songwriter who says, "I must tell Jesus." 21:27 It takes me back when I was living with my mom, 21:32 and my mom was going through so much with my dad. 21:36 I don't like to share this story much. 21:38 She used to get into her room, 21:42 and do you know what she would do? 21:43 She would sit down, get a hymn book, 21:46 and she would sing that song, "I must tell Jesus." 21:51 God is asking you to talk to Him as you are talking to a friend. 22:01 Let's move on with our story... 22:06 In verse 7 it says, "When Phinehas son of Eleazar, 22:11 the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, 22:15 he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand, 22:19 and followed the Israelite into the tent. 22:22 He drove the spear into both of them, 22:24 right through the Israelite man, into the woman's stomach, 22:29 then the plague against the Israelites was stopped, 22:34 but those who died in the plague numbered 24,000." 22:37 Do we see what took place? 22:40 Because of one man's sin, 24,000 died. 22:46 Because Adam and Eve sinned, 22:50 the whole entire world was cursed. 22:55 But thanks be to God, to Jesus Christ 22:57 who died on Calvary for you and I, 23:00 we have hope - there is still hope for every man. Amen? 23:07 In verse 10, let's move on to verse 10. 23:09 Let's zone in to verse 10, it says, "The Lord said to 23:10 Moses, "Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, 23:12 In verse 10, let's move on to verse 10. 23:14 Let's zone in to verse 10, it says, "The Lord said to 23:16 Moses, "Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, 23:22 has turned my anger away from the Israelites. 23:25 Since he was as zealous for My honor among them as I am, 23:30 I did not put an end to them in my zeal." 23:33 Verse 12 says, "Therefore, tell him I am making 23:37 My covenant of peace with him. 23:39 He and his descendants will have a covenant of 23:43 lasting priesthood because he was zealous for the 23:46 honor of his God and made atonement for the Israelites." 23:51 It goes on to say that... "Such was the end of them 23:56 that devise in mischief against God's people." 23:59 Beloved, God wants to work with us if we cooperate with Him. 24:09 Here, we see a bold man, Phinehas, standing firm for God. 24:14 Here you are at "Witness Conference, 2014," 24:18 you are here for a reason. 24:20 You are saying, "Lord, here I am, I am here to hear 24:25 what You want me to be and what You want me to do, 24:30 I am here to accept the call. 24:33 I am not here to have fun, to meet people, 24:38 and just build friendships for fun." 24:42 But we will be building friendships for what? 24:47 For the work, because the harvest is great. 24:55 Beloved, as I mentioned earlier on, Christ is with us. 25:00 He will never leave us. 25:02 Through the trials, He is still with us 25:07 if we only give our hearts to Him. 25:12 I like what the psalmist David says in Psalm 9:15... 25:18 He says, "The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made, 25:22 in the net which they hit is their own foot taken." 25:27 So beloved, we see here the psalmist David saying, 25:30 You have a choice... it says, "They hid and their own 25:40 foot taken." 25:41 Beloved, Christ dying on the cross was a covenant 25:44 set for you and I, so that we may have 25:49 eternal life by surrendering our will to our Savior Jesus Christ. 25:57 Many may ask, "How do I surrender." 25:59 Beloved, Paul talks about dying daily. 26:02 Paul talks about talking to God, surrendering your life to Him. 26:13 The psalmist David says, in Psalm 94:14-15, 26:19 he goes on to say that, "For the Lord will not 26:21 cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance, 26:26 but judgment shall return unto righteousness, 26:29 and all upright in heart will follow it." Amen? 26:33 All who are what? Upright in what? 26:37 In heart will follow it. 26:39 Beloved, God is in the business transforming our hearts, 26:44 and to write His law in our hearts and our minds. 26:49 That's what God is doing right now. 26:53 Beloved, the Israelites who had not been overcome 26:59 by the alms or by the enchantments of Median, 27:02 and fell prey her harlots. 27:04 Such is the power that women enlisted in the service of Satan 27:09 has exerted to entrap and to destroy souls. 27:14 As a church, today we are falling into this trap 27:18 that Satan has set for us, but there is hope! 27:22 Amen? There is hope! 27:25 Satan might knock us down, but God expects us to rise up. 27:31 In Proverbs 7:26, it says that, "She has cast down many 27:37 wounded, yea, many strong men have been slain by her." 27:44 If we look deep into the Bible, throughout the Bible, 27:48 we see that it was the children of Seth were seduced 27:52 from their integrity and the holy seed became what? 27:56 Corrupt. 27:59 It was that that Joseph was tempted. 28:02 That Samson betrayed his strength, 28:05 the defense of Israel into the hands of the Philistines. 28:11 Here, David stumbled and Solomon the wisest of kings, amen? 28:16 The wisest of kings, who had thrice been called 28:19 the "beloved of his God," became a slave of passion, 28:24 and sacrificed his integrity to the same bewitching power. 28:31 But I must assure you, there is hope, like I said. 28:34 Let's turn in our Bibles to 1 Corinthians 10:11-13, 28:37 God gives us an assurance here. 28:41 In 1 Corinthians 10:11-13, it says that, 28:47 "Now all these things happened unto them for examples, 28:52 and they are written for our admonition upon whom 28:56 the ends of the world are come. 28:58 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed 29:02 lest he fall. 29:03 No temptation has overtaken you what is common to mankind, 29:08 and God is faithful. 29:10 He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, Amen? 29:16 But when you are tempted, He will also 29:19 provide a way out so that you can endure it." 29:22 Do you hear that hope? 29:25 Beloved... the assurance that when you are tempted, 29:29 He can find a way for you to endure it. 29:39 Brothers and sisters, as we approach the close of time, 29:42 as the people of God upon the borders of heavenly Canaan, 29:47 Satan will, as of old, re-double his efforts to prevent 29:52 them from entering the goodly land. 29:56 He lays his snares for every soul. 29:58 It is not the ignorant and uncultured merely 30:01 that need to be guarded. 30:02 He will prepare his temptations for those in the 30:05 highest positions, in the most holy office. 30:09 If he can lead them to pollute their souls, 30:12 he can, through them, destroy many. 30:15 And he employs the same agents 30:18 now as he employed 3,000 years ago. 30:20 As we've read early on by worldly friendships, 30:24 by the charms of beauty, by pleasure-seeking mirth, 30:28 feasting or the wine cup, he tempts the violation 30:31 of the 7th commandment which says, 30:33 "Thou shalt not commit adultery." 30:38 So it is now by leading the followers of Christ to 30:41 associate with ungodly and unite their amusement 30:44 that Satan is most successful in alluring them into sin. 30:49 Beloved, in 2 Corinthians 6:17, it says that, 30:54 The Lord is crying out to His people. 30:56 Listen to what it says, "Come out from among them, 31:01 and be ye separate, says the Lord, and touch not 31:06 the unclean." 31:07 God requires of His people now is great a distinction 31:11 from the world, in customs, habits and principles. 31:15 Beloved, and what? And principles as He required 31:19 of Israel anciently. 31:22 In Proverbs 4:23- you don't have to turn there, I'll read for you 31:26 It says, "And keep thy hearts with all diligence, 31:29 is the counsel of the wise man for out of it are the 31:33 issues of life of what? Of life! 31:40 There is a verse that talks about that we need 31:43 to guard up our loins. 31:47 We need to protect because what's in there, comes out, 31:53 because it also goes on to say in Proverbs 23:7 says, 31:57 "As man thinketh in his heart, so is he." 32:01 Beloved, David's prayer should be the petition of every soul. 32:09 In Psalm 51:10, let's turn to Psalm 51:10. 32:17 Psalm 51:10 says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, 32:25 and renew the right spirit within me." 32:28 If this is your prayer today, beloved, I would like you 32:34 to ponder upon this; that God create in you a clean heart. 32:42 But Lord, I've been living this type of way. 32:46 But here at this conference, 32:48 I want to go out as a brand new man. 32:56 I want to rise up for Your work. 33:00 I want to participate in the church. 33:05 I want to go in the mission fields. 33:10 We have Charissa Fong who is always traveling. 33:12 She is going to do a mighty work out there. 33:14 We have many people who are going out. 33:16 Justin Turesan, right now, is going to Indonesia to do work. 33:20 God can use you. 33:23 As Pastor Yieldin was sharing with us yesterday, 33:25 we are all preachers, we are all pastors. 33:30 We can do a mighty work! 33:32 As I said earlier on, Moses couldn't articulate 33:36 his words perfectly, but God said, "No, 33:39 I'll give you the words, I will teach you, my son." 33:43 And God is asking that from us today. 33:47 God wants us to accept Him, and accept His call. 33:57 And we all know that the devil is not happy... 34:03 As I mentioned earlier on, the enemy of souls is not happy. 34:08 I would like to share with you a story that took place 34:13 where I found encouragement in sharing... 34:19 I was minding my own business one time, 34:24 and then I went over to this home, 34:27 I won't mention any names because 34:29 some of you might know where this home is, 34:32 and who these people are. 34:34 I was minding my own business, as you all know me, 34:37 I mind my own business, and then I got to this 34:42 house for dinner; we started having dinner. 34:48 And this man was a minister, I won't mention the denomination. 34:54 He was a minister of another denomination, 34:56 and this is what he said to me. 34:59 He started knocking down our health message, 35:05 talking about how bad it is to be a vegetarian. 35:08 I kept quiet at that time and I said, "Okay." 35:13 The insults kept coming, the insults kept coming... 35:17 He started knocking down the proper tests. 35:21 I call it the proper tests, Sister White - that she is not a 35:27 true prophet, her writings are not true, and after that, 35:34 we kept eating dinner and I kept quiet, 35:38 but at the end of the dinner, I said to him, 35:40 "Brother, can I come back tomorrow and we have a talk?" 35:45 And the brother said, "Yes," and I said, "Praise God." 35:50 In my heart, I said, "Praise God he said yes." 35:53 Many would say, "No," but he said, "Yes." 35:58 And I sought to see that it was an opportunity 36:00 for me to go share God's Word, to rise up and go. 36:07 So the next day, I called him up and I said, 36:09 "Brother, I'm coming to see you" and he said, "Yes, come." 36:14 So we sat down, spoke about how the day was. 36:18 As we continued talking, then he started knocking me down 36:24 with so much anger, saying that "What you guys believe 36:28 in is not true, she is not a true prophet, 36:32 the health message is not true." 36:35 But the funny thing about this man was that he went 36:38 to Vanuatu to teach our doctrines, but then I asked him, 36:44 "Brother, why is it that you were not converted by them?" 36:49 And he said, "I just don't believe it's true." 36:53 "So how can you be teaching them," but we set that aside. 36:57 Then we got into the Word, we started talking. 37:01 I started explaining to him how to tell a true prophet. 37:07 And then he said, "Yes, I believe you." 37:12 "Okay, fair enough." "But I still don't believe 37:15 that Sister White is a true prophet." 37:18 And I continued explaining to him our beliefs, 37:23 our 28-Fundamental Beliefs. 37:25 But his main concern was about the Investigative Judgment. 37:29 And he said, "That is not true, that did not take place, 37:32 where is it biblically?" And I went into the Word. 37:35 Beloved, I was not prepared, but I went into the Word. 37:41 I went into the Word and I explained to him 37:45 about the Investigative Judgment. 37:47 He was a minister because he was boasting to me, 37:50 and he was saying, "Brother, I know the Bible 37:52 from inside out, from Genesis to Revelation." 37:55 And I said, "Brother, it is not for us to boast, 37:59 we need to have a humble spirit." 38:01 And I started explaining to him, I started explaining to him, 38:04 and he said, "I still do not believe it's true." 38:12 But then I took him to Revelation 22, 38:18 and I explained to him how to tell a true prophet, 38:21 how to we have the Spirit of Prophecy. 38:24 Some versions, if we turn there, let's turn to Revelation 22:14 38:37 It says, "Blessed are they that what? Do His commandments, 38:42 that they may have right to the Tree of Life and may enter 38:46 through the gates into the city." 38:48 Because the other issue was the doing of His commandments. 38:53 He believes, as a minister, that we do not need 38:56 to keep the law. 38:59 I was under attack, beloved, 39:01 but God gave me the courage to continue. 39:07 God expects us to have courage, we're surely under attack today. 39:17 God expects you to know His Word, 39:22 to have it written in our hearts and our minds. 39:26 This is what God wants from us, so I continued about the law. 39:32 He said, "We do not need to keep the law." 39:33 Praise God that this quarter we discussing about the law. 39:37 So I had enough information to tell him 39:40 from my previous studies, and we ended up with 39:44 Revelation 22 and then this man, we went on about 39:51 how Sister White is a prophet, and I explained how 39:56 her prophecies have come true thus far, not all but most 40:02 of them have come true and I showed him, 40:06 and he said, "Wow, I didn't know, I didn't know." 40:11 He took his pen, he took his paper, he wrote it down. 40:15 He took Revelation 22:14 about keeping God's law, 40:19 that those who do His commandments, 40:21 which pretty much means "obey," he wrote it all down, 40:24 and do you know what happened? 40:27 He said, "Brother, thank you for this, thank you for this. 40:34 I'm going to go study it at home and find out for myself." 40:38 Until this day, he has not gotten back to me. 40:40 He got my email, until this day, he has not got back to me. 40:44 He said, "I will get back to you, but he hasn't." 40:46 But each and every day, I pray for him, 40:48 that through the studying, God will show him something, 40:52 the truth in Christ Jesus. 40:56 So beloved, do not be afraid, we are under attack. 41:03 We are to understand that Satan lays his snares for every soul. 41:09 It is not the ignorant and the uncultured mainly 41:12 that need to be guided. 41:13 He will prepare his temptations for those 41:16 in the highest positions, in the most holy office. 41:23 In Psalm 51:10, it says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God." 41:29 Beloved, if this is your prayer this morning, 41:32 I would like to invite you to stand. 41:35 I would like to invite you to stand. 41:36 Do not stand for the sake of standing. 41:38 Stand because you want God to create in you a clean heart. 41:44 Because the Apostle Peter also says that the mind 41:47 should not be left to wander at random upon every subject 41:52 that the adversary of souls must suggest, 41:54 girding up the loins of our minds is what 41:56 God wants for us in our hearts. 42:02 He also goes on to say that, "We need to be sober, 42:05 not fashioning yourselves according to the former 42:08 lusts in your ignorance, but like as He 42:10 which called you is holy." 42:13 "Be yourselves also holy in all manner of living, 42:17 and we must give diligent study to the Word of God." 42:23 Beloved, only the River Jordan 42:26 lay between the Children of Israel. 42:30 Only the River Jordan lay between 42:33 them and the Promised Land. 42:34 Today, what is stopping us from seeing the Promised Land? 42:39 It is us - self... we need to let go of self. 42:45 Though the trials may come, there is still 42:48 encouragement through those trials 42:50 because as we read earlier on, God is still with us 42:54 if we believe and give our hearts to Him. 42:58 If we only what? Believe and give our hearts to him. 43:06 God does not do His work by accident. 43:10 That's one thing we ought to understand. 43:12 This conference... many people said this conference 43:15 will never happen, but because of the belief in God, 43:20 that's why we have this conference. 43:22 He does not do His work by accident. 43:28 When God wants to transform lives, He will transform lives. 43:32 Right here, right now, someone is saying, 43:34 "Yes to Jesus, right now." 43:36 You do not rise up - if you are not standing with God. 43:42 You do not rise up if you are not standing on God's promises. 43:47 God has so many promises for us. 43:50 He will equip you if you only believe. 43:56 You do not rise up if you are not willing to stand up for God. 44:01 When I went and met the minister, I stood up for God, 44:03 and I said, "Lord, empty me of self 44:05 because I don't want to get angry, I want You 44:10 to speak through me." 44:12 Phinehas stood boldly for God. 44:21 God is expecting soldiers who are bold for Him this morning. 44:28 to be ready for the mission work because the 44:30 harvest is what? Truly great. 44:32 In saying that, let's bow our heads in prayer. 44:37 Father in heaven, Lord, we come to you 44:40 this morning Lord, thanking You Lord for the children 44:44 who have stood up, who have asked for You to clean 44:48 and create a clean heart in them, Lord. 44:51 Lord, it is by Your will and if it is by Your will, 44:55 we allow this to happen to them. 44:58 They have also made a stand, Lord, to become bold 45:00 soldiers for you through the trials, through the destructions 45:06 that Satan proposes in front of us, 45:09 they still want to be bold and rise up for you. 45:12 So Father in heaven, we pray that you may touch 45:15 our hearts, touch our minds, so that we move from 45:19 being convinced to become converted. 45:22 So here we are, Lord, with our open hearts, receive us. 45:27 Receive our petitions. I pray for all these things 45:30 in Your name, Lord... Amen |
