00:32 You're probably familiar with the armor of God
00:34 mentioned in Ephesians 6. 00:36 It's what we use to defend ourselves 00:38 when Satan attacks. 00:39 It is the warrior's uniform given to every Christian 00:42 composed of spiritual tools 00:44 that God has given us 00:46 to contend with the rulers of this dark 00:48 and imperfect world. 00:49 Among the uniform is the helmet of salvation. 00:52 This helmet refers to the mind controlled by God. 00:56 When God controls the mind, 00:58 Satan cannot lead the believer astray. 01:00 The Christian who studies his Bible 01:02 and prays for understanding, 01:04 isn't going to wander too easily. 01:06 We must hear Jesus and be taught by Him 01:09 as He is our source of truth. 01:11 2 Peter 3:18 says, 01:13 "We are to grow in grace and in the knowledge 01:15 of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." 01:17 This knowledge, 01:18 which is the helmet of salvation, 01:20 protects us from Satan's lies. 01:23 In 1 Corinthians 2:16, Paul makes this statement. 01:27 "We have the mind of Christ." 01:29 If you struggle to have that mind, 01:31 if your helmet keeps falling off, 01:33 leaving you unprotected and susceptible 01:36 to the enemy's attacks, 01:37 you must run for cover, the Word of God. 01:41 Begin to saturate your mind with the Bible. 01:44 Listen to it when you go to sleep, 01:47 when you're getting ready for work, 01:48 when you're driving down the road, 01:50 while you're cooking dinner or exercising 01:52 or walking the dog. 01:54 Get in the Word and get your mind right. 01:58 Lord, I give You my heart 02:01 I give You my soul 02:06 I live for You alone 02:11 Every breath that I take 02:15 Every moment I'm awake 02:19 Lord, have Your way in me 02:28 It's my honor to introduce my president, 02:33 the president of 3ABN, Greg Morikone. 02:36 Thank you for joining us. 02:38 Brother Tim, it's good to be here with you today 02:39 and I liked what you said earlier. 02:41 You said saturate yourself with the Word of God. 02:43 When something's saturated, it's ringing, right? 02:46 It's just coming out. It's oozing out. 02:47 Exactly right. 02:49 So when you saturate yourself with the Word of God, 02:50 it's just coming out of you. 02:52 Praise the Lord. Thank you. 02:53 Praise the Lord. Amen. 02:54 Why don't you open us up with a prayer of thanksgiving? 02:56 Yeah, amen. 02:58 Oh, Father, thank You for being the one 03:01 who never leaves me nor forsakes me. 03:05 And in times of trouble, You're still my friend. 03:09 I worship You with everything within me. 03:11 Thank You for being my loving heavenly Father 03:14 who loves me with an everlasting love. 03:19 If I had a thousand tongues, 03:21 it would not be enough to sing of Your praise. 03:24 You are worthy to be praised and adored. 03:28 You are the one who causes me always 03:31 to trump in Christ Jesus. 03:33 Amen. Amen. 03:37 Heavenly Father, I lift up Christian families 03:41 who are under spiritual attack. 03:44 All the many ways that Satan has to attack us. 03:49 Lord, I pray that You would deliver them 03:51 and keep them under Your wing. 03:54 And I also pray that You would disarm the enemy 03:58 and make fruitless his attacks. 04:02 In Jesus' name. 04:06 I ask for a special touch for husbands and wives, 04:09 working to support families. 04:12 Oh, wrap a hedge of protection around the spouses, 04:15 protect their marriage from stress, 04:18 their bodies from illness, 04:20 their wallets from financial ruin 04:24 and build their love for each other. 04:27 And most importantly in You. 04:33 Healing God, Lord, I pray for our viewers 04:37 who are suffering 04:40 from the many physical maladies, 04:44 brain hemorrhages, Lyme disease, 04:49 glaucoma, lupus, 04:50 heart arrhythmia, high blood pressure. 04:53 And, Lord, those many who are frustrated 04:56 because the doctor can't diagnose their condition. 05:01 And, Father, there are those 05:02 who are battling mental conditions, 05:06 the bipolar, the depressed. 05:11 Lord, we had a caller that said, 05:13 I can hear abusive voices. 05:16 They tell me I have a dumb spirit. 05:19 I'm kicked and treated like a donkey. 05:24 I suffer from a mental illness, 05:25 which prevents me from communicating 05:27 or talking properly. 05:29 The caller says I wanna be healed 05:31 from mental illness, the dumb spirit. 05:33 Oh Father, God, I ask in Jesus' name 05:37 that You would reach down 05:40 and give them the mind of Christ. 05:44 In Jesus' name. 05:48 We have a viewer here says, 05:50 I pray and I wanna lift them up 05:53 for those that don't have employment. 05:56 Those desiring to be productive and have purpose 05:59 for those who need to earn more money 06:00 and gain financial stability, 06:03 as well as for those 06:04 who need to learn to live within their means. 06:08 And I pray for those whose work is so stressful 06:10 that it's causing them physical illness. 06:14 Oh, Lord, teach us all how to handle all our stress, 06:19 but to cast all our cares upon You. 06:21 Yeah. Amen. 06:25 Thank You, Lord, for the privilege that we have 06:27 of casting our cares on You. 06:29 What a wonderful Savior You are. 06:34 And, Father, I bring to You 06:35 those who are being falsely accused 06:39 with fraudulent charges against their credit. 06:44 Lord, I pray that You would restore 06:45 and return what was taken, 06:48 but the enemy has robbed them off, 06:52 for those whose character has been attacked. 06:56 And they're facing ridicule and separation from friends. 06:59 Oh, God, I pray that 07:00 You will let the truth be known. 07:02 You are the truth. 07:06 So I pray that 07:07 You will let the truth be known. 07:10 Vindicate them, oh, God. 07:11 Arise, oh, God. 07:13 And let Your enemies be scattered. 07:17 In Jesus' name. 07:22 We pray for those struggling 07:24 with addiction to pornography, 07:26 to alcohol and various substance abuse, 07:30 physical destruction and bad company. 07:34 Those considering abortion or suicide, 07:37 loving Father, please reach down 07:41 and draw them so very close to You. 07:43 Yes, oh, Lord. 07:45 Let them know how much, oh, God, You love them, 07:50 in Jesus' name, amen. 07:58 And, Father, we know that You love us 07:59 because You gave Your Son to die for us. 08:04 So I lift up those who are filled with doubt 08:09 that You even exist. 08:12 Those who see so much trouble in the world 08:15 and they see no hope in You. 08:19 Holy Spirit, I pray that 08:20 You will move throughout this land, 08:22 oh, God, convict hearts, 08:25 stir those of us who love You 08:27 and claim You as our Father 08:29 to reach out and show Your love 08:32 to those who are questioning You. 08:38 Father, may we lift You up, 08:41 so that You will draw all men unto yourself. 08:46 Jesus, let it be so. Amen. 08:53 Oh, Father, someone today who's watching or listening 08:58 has been deeply hurt by another's actions 09:02 and his need and is in need, 09:06 oh God, of a forgiving heart for that person. 09:10 I know it's so easy to hold a grudge, 09:13 to cling to an offense but, oh, Lord, 09:16 You above all know what it is to forgive people 09:21 who don't deserve forgiveness. 09:23 Teach us to love how to care 09:27 and how to forgive. 09:30 And, Lord, help us to know how to even forgive ourselves. 09:35 In Jesus' name. Yes, Lord, Jesus. 09:44 God, for those who extend their love 09:47 through adoption 09:49 and foster children. 09:51 Lord, I thank You for those programs 09:53 and thank You for those people 09:56 who have the heart of love 09:59 to be parents in such situations. 10:04 I lift up a prayer for wisdom 10:06 to deal with the unique situations 10:09 they are involved in adoption and fostering. 10:16 Most of all, I thank You for being a wonderful example 10:20 of what a Father should be. 10:28 And I pray, Lord, for those who are watching 10:30 that have loved ones who need You. 10:39 Father, we all need You. 10:41 And for those who aren't aware that they need You, 10:43 oh, God, I pray Holy Spirit will move in them. 10:55 Father, You're so good to us. 11:08 1 John 5:14-15 says, 11:12 "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him 11:15 that if we ask anything according to His will, 11:19 He hears us according to His word." 11:22 Amen, Tim. Praise the Lord. 11:26 Thank You, Father, for being faithful to hear us. 11:32 So, Lord, we give You our heart. 11:36 Lord, I give You my mind 11:40 I give You my soul 11:45 I live for You alone 11:51 Every thought that I think 11:54 Every moment I'm awake 11:59 Lord, have Your way in me 12:04 Lord, I give You my heart 12:08 I give You my soul 12:12 I live for You 12:14 I live for You alone 12:19 Every breath that I take 12:23 Every moment I'm awake 12:29 Lord, have Your way in me 12:39 It's an honor to pray. 12:42 And it's a privilege that we have to pray. 12:45 And it's something I think it's important 12:47 that we take advantage of. 12:49 And I wanna thank you again for taking off your time. 12:52 You're a busy man.
