00:35 In John 14:27, Jesus says, 00:38 "Peace I leave with you. 00:40 My peace I give to you, 00:41 not as the world gives, do I give to you. 00:44 Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." 00:48 We see that going on in the world today. 00:50 People's hearts are troubled. 00:52 They're fearful. 00:53 Even in good times, 00:55 people don't know what's going to happen. 00:56 And in bad times, they're totally stressed out. 01:00 They're going from day to day 01:01 without having answers to basic questions like 01:04 what's in the future for me, what's going to happen to me. 01:07 What's happening in my world, 01:10 but there are answers 01:11 and there is peace in the midst of all the turmoil. 01:15 You can have peace if you reach out to Jesus 01:18 and give your life to Him. 01:20 He will give you peace in the midst of your storm. 01:23 How does that work? 01:25 He simply says He gives us His peace. 01:28 The verse that we read today 01:30 means that it's not just a band-aid peace 01:33 like the world gives, 01:34 Christ's peace is that anchoring steady peace 01:37 that only He can give, 01:39 the kind that can't be explained. 01:53 Peace, perfect peace 01:57 In this dark world of sin 02:03 The blood of Jesus 02:07 Whispers peace 02:11 Within Peace, 02:15 Perfect peace 02:18 By thronging duties pressed 02:23 To do the will of Jesus 02:29 This is rest 02:35 Our Father in heaven, 02:37 we pause for a moment 02:38 to ask You to come into our lives, 02:41 to guide and comfort us, to bring peace into our lives. 02:46 This world and our society seem to be separating us 02:50 from truth and moral standards we know to be right. 02:54 Stand beside us, Lord, 02:56 that we may have the strength to go forward 02:58 and praise you and to enjoy the peace 03:01 you have offered to all who follow you. 03:05 We are looking forward so much to being with you 03:07 for eternity and sitting at Your feet, 03:10 listening to your loving message of peace everlasting 03:14 where there will be no more sickness, 03:17 dying, wars and calamities of all kinds. 03:22 Please come soon, Lord. 03:24 We ask You all these things in Your name. 03:27 Amen. 03:34 Dear Father in heaven, 03:35 thank You so much for the privilege 03:37 that we are able to come to You in prayer. 03:39 Thank You for the assurance 03:41 that when I'm afraid or worried, 03:43 I can come to You and You will give me peace. 03:47 Lord, I ask that others may have Your peace, 03:50 Your peace that passes all understanding. 03:53 Be with those who face trials 03:56 and those who carry burdens, 03:58 help them know that You are near to them. 04:00 And that You love them. 04:01 Be with those who are afraid 04:03 and help them to put their whole trust in You. 04:06 Comfort those who are hurting 04:08 and may Your peace abide in their hearts 04:09 and minds forever. 04:11 In Jesus' name I pray. 04:12 Amen. 04:19 Dear heavenly Father, I come to You, Lord, 04:22 to ask for peace, 04:25 not the peace that the world give, 04:27 but the peace that the Bible said, 04:28 You will give us. 04:30 I pray, Lord, that all of us, 04:34 despite the time that we're living 04:36 and the things that we see happening around us, 04:40 that You could give us peace in our heart, 04:43 that we can always try to look for that peace 04:47 with our neighbors, with our family, 04:50 with people in the world. 04:52 Not only that we can have the peace, 04:54 but we can share it with others 04:56 and give them the opportunity, 04:58 Lord, to understand that only You can give us the real peace. 05:03 Thank You for that piece that You can give us. 05:05 Lord, I pray in Jesus' name. 05:08 Amen. 05:09 Peace, perfect peace 05:14 With loved ones far away 05:20 In Jesus' keeping 05:24 We are safe, and are they 05:31 Peace, perfect peace 05:35 Our future all unknown 05:40 Jesus we know 05:44 And You are on 05:48 The throne 05:52 Our Father, which art in heaven 05:54 as we come to You in prayer today, 05:56 we're very aware of the things that are going on in the world. 05:58 Lord, we needs peace. 06:00 You promise You'd give us peace that passes all understanding. 06:04 We know that you are peace. 06:05 And so I just pray that each individual today, 06:08 everyone living in the world today 06:09 will turn to you the author, 06:11 finisher of our faith. 06:13 And that's certainly the author of our peace. 06:15 Then we pray that the enemy 06:16 will not be able to take that peace. 06:18 And we just ask in special way Your Holy Spirit will come 06:20 into each heart in each life. 06:22 And may we look to Jesus today not the things 06:24 that are going on in the world because we serve a God 06:26 that sets upon the throne that rules the universe 06:29 has promised, I will come again. 06:31 Thank You, Lord, for hearing. Thank You for answering prayer. 06:34 Thank You that we can call upon You in our time of need. 06:36 You said You would be there. 06:37 You would hear, and you would answer our prayer, 06:38 in Jesus' name we pray and for His sake. 06:41 Amen. 06:47 Our loving heavenly Father, 06:48 We thank You for Your gift of peace. 06:51 When things are going crazy in the world, 06:54 things are going crazy in our homes, 06:56 with our neighbors, in our cities and our towns, 06:59 our coworkers, we need peace. 07:03 And sometimes peace is hard to come by. 07:06 And, Lord, we know that we can always go to You 07:09 and ask for peace and You will give it to us. 07:12 So, Lord, in this time of challenge, 07:14 when we need peace, we ask for peace from You. 07:19 We ask for You to grant our prayers 07:21 and give us peace in Jesus' name. 07:24 Amen. 07:27 2 Thessalonians 3:16 says, 07:32 "Now may the Lord of peace Himself 07:34 give you peace at all times. 07:36 And in every way the Lord be with all of you." 07:42 Father, there's nothing more peaceful 07:44 that I can think of than knowing 07:47 that You are with me right in the midst 07:49 of the crazy world that I live in. 07:54 You are with me. 07:55 So thank You. 07:56 In Psalm 4:6 rather for, verse 8. 08:01 Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace, I will lie down and sleep, 08:05 for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." 08:11 Lord, I wanna think of that verse 08:13 as I'm struggling sometimes to fall asleep. 08:19 In peace, I will lie down and sleep, 08:22 for you alone. 08:23 Lord, make me dwell in safety. 08:26 Thank you for that. 08:28 Colossians 3:13, 08:30 "Bear with each other and forgive one another. 08:33 If any of you has a grievance against someone, 08:37 forgive as the Lord forgave you." 08:40 Well, there's a key for peace to forgive. 08:48 And a scripture I love so much, 08:50 Isaiah, 26:3. 08:54 "You will keep in perfect peace 08:56 those whose minds are steadfast 08:59 stayed upon you because they trust in You." 09:05 Father, thank You for that trust 09:08 that I have in You. 09:11 Thank You that You give me that peace of mind. 09:18 Lord, I wanna pray for this one who has said, 09:26 they need deliverance from a bad habit and addiction. 09:32 Pray that I may in Christ's strength 09:34 gained the victory. 09:35 Lord, it is only in your strength 09:37 that we have the victory. 09:40 Someone says, I need God's guidance 09:42 and help in my life. 09:45 Oh God, we all need that guidance and help. 09:51 Someone says, I'm asking for prayers 09:52 on behalf of my son 09:54 who's suffering from schizophrenia. 09:58 And as a result, he smokes up to a box of cigarettes a day. 10:02 Oh, Father, I ask in Jesus' name 10:04 that You would grant sound mind to this child, 10:11 that You will take away 10:16 this problem in his mind that his addiction would 10:21 go away as well. 10:25 One says, I pray for victory at my job. 10:27 I pray for a quiet hour every morning 10:30 to be sought in the early morning. 10:32 I need to study the Bible more 10:33 and not to be worried about my job. 10:36 Please pray that I will be an efficient worker. 10:42 Lord, I ask that You will help us all 10:45 to be victorious in our work. 10:49 Thank You for work. 10:50 Thank You for the jobs that we have that 10:55 help us to make a living and give us an opportunity 10:58 to share with others, our work, our coworkers. 11:03 Thank you. 11:04 So I pray in Jesus' name 11:05 that You will meet the request of this one. 11:10 And, Lord, there's one who has a daughter of a friend 11:13 in her 50s who has cancer. 11:15 It doesn't look good. 11:18 Lord, I lift her up. 11:20 I just ask in Jesus' name for anyone who is watching, 11:24 who is battling cancer, 11:28 diseases that seem unhealable, 11:35 Lord, we trust that You are able to heal. 11:43 Father God, 11:48 may Your peace reign over those who are watching, 11:51 even in the midst of their struggles 11:53 and in the midst of their diseases. 12:01 God give them Your overwhelming peace. 12:09 Thank You for that peace. 12:14 And I want to remind you not to take peace for granted. 12:21 But practice peace in your life. 12:28 Practice peace in your relationships. 12:33 When others see you living at peace, 12:37 it's the perfect witness of Christ in your life. 12:42 And it's an open door to share Christ with others. 12:48 So I pray that the peace of Christ 12:50 will richly dwell in you. 12:59 Peace, peace 13:03 Wonderful peace 13:06 Coming down 13:09 From the Father Above 13:16 Sweep over 13:20 By spirit for ever 13:26 I pray 13:31 In fathomless billows of love 13:43 Please send us your prayer request 13:45 or become a part of our Prayer Warrior Team. 13:48 For more information, please visit 3abn.tv/prayer 13:52 or call for prayer at 618-627-4651 extension 1. 13:57 And thank you for being a part of the worldwide 3ABN family. |
