00:31 Today, I want to pray for prisoners.
00:33 One of my favorite texts to share with incarcerated 00:36 is found in Jeremiah 29:13-14. 00:40 "And you will seek Me and find Me, 00:42 when you shall search for Me with all your heart. 00:45 I will be found by you, says the Lord, 00:47 and I will bring you back from your captivity, 00:49 I will gather you from all the nations 00:51 and from all the places where I have driven you, 00:54 and I will bring you to the place 00:56 from which I cause you to be away captive." 01:00 The reason I like this verse is the fact 01:02 that they are in captivity. 01:04 And in many ways we ourselves are in captivity, 01:07 as long as we allow Satan any part in our lives. 01:10 So we should share with those in prison or jail 01:13 that God has a plan for them 01:15 to bring them out of that captivity. 01:23 Years I spent in vanity 01:27 And pride 01:29 Caring not my Lord was crucified 01:35 Knowing not it was for me 01:38 He died on Calvary 01:47 Mercy there was great, 01:49 And grace was free 01:53 Pardon there was multiplied to me 01:57 And there my burdened soul found liberty 02:03 At Calvary 02:11 By God's Word at last my sin I learned 02:17 Then I trembled at the law I'd spurned 02:22 Till my guilty soul imploring turned 02:27 To Calvary 02:33 Mercy there was great, 02:36 And grace was free 02:39 Pardon there was multiplied to me 02:45 There my burdened soul 02:49 Found liberty at Calvary 03:01 Heavenly Father, we find people in prisons today 03:04 because of an act against society. 03:07 They were convicted and sentenced to pay a penalty 03:09 for their transgressions. 03:11 Hopefully, this will renew the relationship with society, 03:16 and to do the right thing going forward. 03:18 We have all sinned, but 1 John 1:9 says, 03:23 "If we confess our sins, 03:24 He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins 03:26 and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 03:29 I pray that we can spend this time in our own prison aside 03:33 to reflect on what we have done and what Lord has done for us. 03:38 And they get a right relationship 03:39 with our Heavenly Father. 03:40 Amen. 03:43 Our Heavenly Father, some have found themselves in a prison 03:48 bound to small quarters in a limited space, 03:51 but, Lord, You see them all, 03:53 You know their hearts, and You love them dearly. 03:56 Draw their eyes heavenward to their Redeemer 03:59 who loves them so very much. 04:01 And one day soon, You will release them 04:04 from those prison doors. 04:06 In Jesus' name, amen. 04:11 Heavenly Father, I pray for the prisoners. 04:15 I pray for those who are incarcerated 04:18 for something that they've done for some deed 04:21 that they did that wasn't according to Your will. 04:24 Father, I ask that You shed Your light upon them 04:29 that they might see You as I see You 04:32 and that they may be led to eternal glory. 04:37 There are those, Father, in prison incarcerated 04:40 who seek You out. 04:42 Reveal Yourself to them, Oh, Lord, 04:45 show them Your glory in the glory of Your Son 04:48 so that they can be led to eternity with You. 04:52 In Jesus' name, amen. 04:58 Oh, the love 05:00 That drew salvation's plan! 05:05 Oh, the grace 05:07 That brought it down to man! 05:11 Oh, the mighty gulf 05:14 That God did span at Calvary! 05:25 And now I've given to Jesus everything 05:31 Now I gladly own Him 05:34 As my King 05:37 Now my raptured soul 05:40 Can only sing of Calvary! 05:50 Mercy there was great, 05:53 And grace was free 05:56 Pardon there was multiplied to me 06:02 And there my burdened soul 06:06 Found liberty at Calvary 06:18 Dear, Father in heaven, 06:21 we were locked like prisoners in a world of sin, 06:24 but Your Son paid the ultimate price to set us free. 06:27 Thank You. 06:28 You told us go into all the world 06:31 and preach the gospel. 06:33 You said I the Lord have called you. 06:35 I will hold your hand. 06:37 I will keep you for a light to the Gentiles 06:41 to bring out of darkness the prisoners 06:44 from the prison of sin. 06:47 Lord, please give us the desire, the strength, 06:50 and the wisdom we need to share Your love with others. 06:55 So they'll follow You and be set free as well. 06:59 In Jesus' name we ask and thank You. 07:02 Amen. 07:05 Dear, Heavenly Father, 07:07 Your Word tells us in Romans 8:37, 07:12 "Then all these things we are more than conquerors 07:15 through Him that loved us." 07:17 There is no sin great enough to separate us 07:20 from the power of Your blood and the depths of Your love. 07:24 Father, I pray for those behind bars today. 07:27 And not just those behind bars, for any man is a slave to sin 07:32 who has not been redeemed by the cleansing blood of Jesus. 07:36 And dear, Father, I thank You for the blessed hope 07:39 that You have given us in Romans 8:39, 07:43 "That neither height nor depth, 07:46 nor any other creature shall be able to separate us 07:49 from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." 07:54 I thank You for Your precious promises unto us, 07:57 dear, Lord Jesus. 07:58 And for the hope that Philippians 4:13 declares 08:02 and that, "I can do all things 08:05 through Christ who strengthens me." 08:13 Hebrews 13:3 says, 08:15 "Remember those who are in prison, 08:18 as though in prison with them, 08:20 and those who are mistreated, 08:23 since you also are in the body." 08:26 Lord, I pray that 08:27 You will give us compassion. 08:33 Lord, may we take advantage of the opportunity 08:36 that we have when those doors open 08:40 to go and minister in prison. 08:43 Father, we have means of sharing the gospel 08:45 with them through email or through ministries 08:50 who can actually go behind bars to minister 08:53 to them in person. 08:55 Father, may we support with our prayers 08:57 and our money, 09:01 those who are in prison, Lord. 09:06 Father, I thank You for Psalm 146:7. 09:10 It says, "Who executes justice for the oppressed, 09:14 who gives food to the hungry. 09:16 The Lord sets the prisoners free." 09:19 Father, I thank You for justice for the oppressed. 09:22 Thank You for food for the hungry. 09:25 And thank You for being our freedom. 09:30 You set the prisoners free, Lord, 09:32 Your Word declares it and I thank You for that. 09:36 Father, I thank You for our viewers 09:39 who send in prayer requests. 09:40 Lord, I pray that You will hear the prayers 09:47 and requests for healing and for deliverance 09:51 for families, and marriages, 09:53 and salvation. 09:58 Father, for the one who has written in 10:01 requesting prayer for friends 10:03 who are having mental breakdown. 10:08 Father, for the mother who says that 10:11 her son just died. 10:14 She and her daughter need healing. 10:19 For the one praying for healing, 10:22 for the cancer, 10:28 for the woman praying for her kidneys 10:31 to function again. 10:37 Father God, I just ask in Jesus' name 10:44 that You would provide healing Lord, 10:49 so much pain and... 10:53 God, we know that our bodies were created in... 10:59 They were created the way You wanted them to be, 11:04 to work and to function correctly, 11:06 but we know that sin entered into the world 11:10 and has made pretty much 11:13 everything go wrong. 11:18 But, Father, You are able to heal, 11:20 there is no doubt in my mind that You are able to heal. 11:24 Thank You for the stripes 11:26 that Christ bore for our healing. 11:32 So we lay claim on to those stripes, 11:35 we lay claim to the blood of Jesus Christ 11:37 that washes away our sin. 11:42 Thank You God for salvation. 11:46 And thank You for Your peace that You can bring in 11:49 into the situation of death 11:53 those who are left behind. 11:56 Lord, I pray that You will be their strength. 12:03 One writes in and says, "My sister-in-law 12:05 is 89 years old, lives in a nursing home. 12:10 And there are a couple of employees there 12:12 who are sick with the virus." 12:17 Lord, we pray for those employees 12:19 that You will definitely make them well, 12:23 heal their sickness. 12:26 And, Lord, we pray for the patients. 12:28 Lord, we pray for nursing homes around the world 12:33 for Your protection from sickness. 12:38 Lord, want a confined area for people to catch disease 12:44 and I just pray in Jesus' name 12:49 that You will grant wisdom 12:50 to the leaders of those nursing homes 12:52 and those facilities. 12:54 Thank You for the people who are working there, 12:56 the nurses, and the doctors, and the caretakers. 12:59 Lord, You are faithful. 13:02 So we trust You Lord to give wisdom. 13:08 Mercy there was great, and grace was free 13:15 And pardon there was multiplied to even me 13:21 There my burdened soul found liberty 13:27 It was at Calvary 13:36 Matthew 25:36 13:37 says, "I was naked and you clothed Me, 13:39 I was sick and you visited Me, 13:41 I was in prison and you came to Me." 13:45 Don't forget that. 13:47 Thank you for taking time to Pause to Pray. 13:52 Please send
