00:31 Let's talk about honesty.
00:33 Proverbs 11:1 says, 00:35 "Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, 00:39 but a just weight is His delight. 00:41 I like the message translation, which says, 00:44 "God hates cheating in the marketplace. 00:46 He loves it when business is above board." 00:50 I can't imagine that anyone would like being swindled 00:53 or scammed under any condition. 00:55 Be it in business dealings or personal relationships. 00:59 Jesus said of Satan, when he lies, 01:01 he speaks what is natural to him, 01:03 for he is a liar 01:05 and the father of lies and half-truths. 01:08 When I'm not honest, or even half honest, 01:11 I'm being like Satan. 01:13 I definitely don't want anything to do 01:15 with deception or dishonesty, 01:17 but rather it's my desire to do everything I can 01:20 to treat others with fairness and integrity 01:23 and to exhibit total honesty. 01:41 Take my life and let it be 01:47 Consecrated Lord to thee 01:52 Take my hands and let them move 01:58 At the impulse of thy love 02:03 At the impulse 02:06 Of thy love 02:11 Take my feet and let them be 02:16 Swift and beautiful from thee 02:21 Take my voice and let me sing 02:27 Only always for my King 02:33 Always only 02:36 For my King 02:43 Heavenly Father, I thank You 02:45 for giving me Your character and the mind of Christ. 02:49 I desire to be upright in all my ways. 02:52 So please forgive me when I lower my standards 02:56 by not being honest. 02:58 Holy Spirit convict me if I ever lean on the scale 03:01 or take advantage of situations for my gain. 03:05 Remind me that I will reap what I sow. 03:08 Help me to always apply 03:10 the right standards of measurement 03:12 and give me the boldness to expose dishonest situations. 03:17 I refuse to lie, steal or deceive in any way. 03:21 So, God, help me to properly represent You 03:24 in my daily transactions. 03:27 Grant me a high regard 03:28 for the importance of being truthful, fair, 03:31 and just in everything I do and say. 03:35 And, Lord, I ask that You please touch 03:37 the hearts of those in authority over us, 03:40 that they would desire honesty in their decisions too. 03:44 I want to be a man after Your own heart, 03:47 pure in thought and deed. 03:49 Thank You for constantly loving me 03:51 as I grow to be more like You. 03:54 In Jesus' name, amen. 03:58 Heavenly Father, we come to You again, 04:00 praising Your holy name, 04:02 coming to You as Your children. 04:05 Lord, as followers of our Savior, 04:08 I pray that each one of us would search our hearts 04:10 and that we would be honest 04:11 in all of our dealings with others. 04:14 That we would proclaim the name of Jesus 04:16 in our actions 04:17 that we would live a life that would glorify You, 04:20 that we would never lie, cheat or steal. 04:23 Help us to be fair in our dealing with others 04:25 so that our reputation 04:27 would show that we truly love 04:29 and honor our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. 04:33 I just pray for strength to be the kind of person 04:35 that you would have us to be every day. 04:38 And I just pray that as we live our life here 04:40 in this sinful world, 04:41 that an honest person would shine out, Lord, 04:44 and that others would notice 04:46 and want to know 04:47 how they can live a life this way. 04:49 And we'll be glad to tell them 04:50 through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. 04:53 We ask all these things royal throne 06:08 Dear Father in heaven, Lord, 06:10 I wanna uplift all of us to help us to be honest 06:15 in our daily walk with You. 06:18 Honest in our jobs and in everything 06:21 that You assigned to us through each day. 06:24 Father, it says in Your Word 06:26 that honesty is important to You 06:29 in that You want us 06:31 to reflect Your character, Lord. 06:34 Father, I ask right now 06:37 that You help us to reflect Your character 06:39 in every act, 06:41 including to be honest and true to You, 06:46 to Your Word 06:47 and in our life and to others, Lord. 06:51 Let us be honest to others. 06:53 In Jesus' precious name, amen. 06:56 Most gracious and loving Father in heaven. 06:59 If we wanted to return to You, we could, 07:02 all we have to do is throw away all our idols 07:05 and stray from You no more. 07:07 Then when we swear by Your name saying, 07:09 as surely as the Lord lives we can do so with honesty, 07:13 justice, and righteousness, 07:15 then we would be a blessing to the nations of the world. 07:18 And all people would come and praise Your holy name. 07:22 Amen. 07:25 Heavenly Father, this world needs honesty. 07:30 Today, we hear so much about fake news 07:33 when what we really want is truth, 07:35 sincerity and adherence to the facts. 07:39 Lord, there is much confusion in the world and deception. 07:44 We long for truth. 07:46 Help us to remember Your Word is truth. 07:50 Help us to know Your Word, to live Your Word, 07:53 to share Your Word with those around us. 07:56 And to be fair and straightforward, 07:59 to be honest in our conduct, 08:01 we want to reflect Your character, Lord. 08:04 We pray for the Holy Spirit to change us 08:07 and use us to share Your truth with the world. 08:12 In Jesus' name, amen. 08:19 Take my love my Lord 08:23 I pour at your feet 08:28 It's treasure store 08:31 Take myself and I will be 08:38 Ever only all for thee 08:44 Ever only all 08:49 For thee 08:57 Proverbs 21:3 says, 08:59 "To do what is right and just is more acceptable 09:02 to the Lord than sacrifice." 09:06 Romans 13:7 says, 09:08 "Give to everyone what you owe them" 09:11 If you owe taxes, pay taxes, 09:13 if revenue, then revenue, 09:16 if respect, then respect, 09:19 if honor, then honor." 09:23 Father God, I lift up those 09:26 who might have trouble with this, 09:30 who are conflicted, 09:35 whether or not they should be honest. 09:40 Lord, there's really no question, 09:45 whether or not we agree or disagree sometimes 09:51 even with our leaders. 09:54 Father, the respect 09:55 that the position deserves 10:00 and the honesty that the situation deserves. 10:05 I just pray that You will give us wisdom 10:08 and make it clear 10:10 that we will never be wrong by being honest. 10:17 You will never accuse us of being too honest. 10:21 I can't imagine that. 10:23 And if that be the case, then Holy Spirit, 10:26 give me the wisdom that I would not be too honest, 10:32 but I don't know, even again, I don't want half-truths. 10:35 I want the whole truth 10:38 to lead everything that I do. 10:43 Father, there are so many again in need. 10:49 There are ministries that are leading 10:51 around the country. 10:55 One ministry that is called in, it serves in Myanmar. 11:03 God, I pray in Jesus' name 11:05 that You would minister through that ministry, 11:09 that they would be Your hands and feet 11:11 right there in that foreign land. 11:16 Father, I read the prayer of one who says, 11:19 "Give me strength against many things in my life 11:22 that the enemy is trying to disrupt." 11:26 They ask that God would help them make 11:29 good grades, 11:30 that the Lord would heal their mother, 11:34 that the stress will be released 11:35 from their family. 11:37 And that they seek the Lord in everything. 11:42 Father, we as Your children, we are in great need of you. 11:48 In every situation that we have in life 11:51 that is disrupted by evil, 11:55 we cry out to You to be the healer. 11:58 We cry out to You to be our redeemer. 12:00 We cry out to You to be our savior, 12:03 to rescue us from these evil situations. 12:13 So, God, I pray for protection and safety 12:17 for jobs and finances, 12:20 for healing in people's bodies 12:24 and people's minds, and in their hearts. 12:27 God bless our viewers. 12:28 Bless those who hear these prayers. 12:34 We thank You for hearing our prayer. 12:37 Fill us with honesty, Lord. 12:43 We love you, God. 12:45 Thank You, father, for answering our prayer. 12:47 Thank You for the reports that we receive 12:51 when people know that You have heard 12:54 their prayer. 12:57 We know that You answer prayer in Your own time 13:01 that Your ear is tuned to us 13:05 if our hearts are right. 13:09 And we just continue to pray Your kingdom come, 13:12 Your will be done in our lives on earth as it is in heaven. 13:22 So don't forget to be honest. 13:25 If you have trouble with being dishonest, 13:29 change those habits, 13:32 change your
