00:31 Today's topic I want to pray for healthcare professionals.
00:35 Isaiah 40:28-31 scripture, I really love. 00:39 "Have you not known? 00:41 Have you not heard? 00:42 The everlasting God, the Lord, 00:43 the Creator of the ends of the earth, 00:45 neither faints nor is weary. 00:48 His understanding is unsearchable. 00:50 He gives power to the weak, 00:52 And to those who have no might He increases strength. 00:55 Even the youth shall faint and be weary, 00:58 and the young men shall utterly fail, 01:00 but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. 01:03 They shall mount up with wings like eagles, 01:05 they shall run and not be weary, 01:08 they shall walk and not faint." 01:10 With the struggles and the challenges 01:12 that healthcare providers face, 01:14 they need that extra strength that God can give them. 01:17 And I love how this says the Creator never faints. 01:21 He's never weary. 01:22 He's always there to give us strength when we need it. 01:26 Another verse of great consolation 01:28 in the next chapter, Isaiah 41:10, 01:32 "Fear not for I am with you, 01:34 be not dismayed for I am your God, 01:37 I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, 01:39 I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." 01:43 I love thinking about God reaching down 01:45 and holding us up with His hand 01:47 at just the time we need His strength. 01:56 Days are filled with sorrow and care 02:03 Hearts are lonely and drear 02:11 Burdens are lifted 02:15 At Calvary 02:20 Jesus is 02:22 Very near 02:28 Burdens are lifted 02:33 At Calvary 02:37 Calvary, 02:41 Calvary 02:45 Burdens are lifted 02:50 At Calvary 02:55 world. 03:17 Many are working long hours facing frustration, 03:20 weariness, and fear. 03:22 Some are battling a virus that is new and different, 03:26 and in many ways, cases deadly. 03:29 Others are wondering 03:30 when and if the virus will strike where they are. 03:33 And if they're doing enough and have the right equipment 03:36 to protect their patients themselves and their families. 03:41 I claim Your power for the weak. 03:45 Please increase their strength and let them feel Your hand 03:48 holding them up. 03:50 I pray they will know and recognize 03:53 where their strength comes from. 03:55 Thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. 03:59 In Jesus' name I pray, amen. 04:06 My father, I want to thank You for all the healthcare workers 04:10 who place their lives on the line to help those 04:12 who are so sick. 04:14 Lord, many of them are Your followers. 04:17 And they longed for the opportunity 04:19 to share the hope that they have in Jesus 04:21 with their patients. 04:23 Please give them those opportunities 04:25 and protect them with Your mighty hand. 04:28 I pray for their families as well. 04:31 Father, this is work of the highest calling, 04:34 and I pray for Your mercy on them 04:36 should they become ill themselves. 04:39 Father, thank You for Your promise 04:41 that Jesus has already taken our infirmities upon Himself 04:45 and borne our sicknesses. 04:48 We place our faith in You and pray in Jesus' name. 04:52 Amen. 04:57 Dear Heavenly Father, 04:59 we come to You now with grateful hearts 05:01 for all You have done for us. 05:03 to help others 05:25 during this time of need. 05:27 We're asking, Father, 05:28 that You would send the Holy Spirit 05:31 and that You would put Your hand of protection 05:33 around everyone working to save lives. 05:36 And we will thank You for what You have done 05:38 and what You're going to do in the precious name of Jesus. 05:42 Amen. 05:47 So cast your care 05:50 On Jesus today 05:55 Just individuals who are sick. 07:16 We ask a very special blessing upon them those 07:18 who are risking their very life, 07:20 that others may have their life and so we lift them up, 07:23 to pray for the Holy Spirit to draw close to them. 07:26 Give them strength and wisdom and knowledge 07:29 how to handle these situations, 07:31 that they can be a comfort to those who are in need. 07:33 We thank You that You are comforter today 07:35 and we ask again thy Holy Spirit 07:37 will just consume each and every one of us 07:39 bring healing to this nation and to each individual. 07:42 We thank You in Jesus' name, amen. 07:49 Loving Father, I lift up to You the doctors, 07:52 nurses, physician's assistants and aids, 07:55 those well trained in the medical field 07:58 who work tirelessly to tend to us physically and mentally, 08:02 and assist in promoting optimal health. 08:05 Their task is never ending. 08:07 And so often they put themselves 08:08 in harm's way to risk helping their patients. 08:12 Father God, please be a fence around them, 08:15 a hedge of protection, 08:17 guarding them from illness and disease. 08:19 Lord, build up their resistance to the infections 08:22 and viruses they come in contact with. 08:25 Give them grace and mercy 08:27 to love those who are sick and hurting. 08:31 Please guide their hands and hearts 08:33 as they help those in need. 08:35 Grant them the compassion Lord that You showed 08:38 to those who were sick when You were on earth. 08:42 In Jesus' name we pray, amen. 08:49 Dear Lord, today we pray for Your peace. 08:52 We pray that the peace of God 08:54 which transcends all understanding, 08:57 will guard the hearts and minds of those 08:59 who are serving in our healthcare systems. 09:02 We also ask for courage for them. 09:04 We know that You did not give us a spirit of fear, 09:07 but of power and love and a sound mind. 09:10 So we thank You for giving each one of them 09:13 the courage to face and serve each day. 09:16 Lord, grant them with a sound mind 09:18 as they make decisions. 09:20 May they be blessed with the wisdom and grace needed 09:23 to provide the best care possible 09:25 to those who have been assigned to them. 09:27 Please bring to light the things 09:29 that they should know 09:30 and guide them in each step that they take. 09:33 We love You, Father, 09:34 and we are blessed to have those 09:36 who you have gifted in service, 09:38 to care for us and meet our needs. 09:41 Remind us to make sure that they know 09:43 we are praying for them 09:45 and that we truly appreciate their dedication 09:47 and service to us. 09:49 May Your love and peace follow them each day. 09:52 In the name of Jesus' we pray. 09:57 Jeremiah 29:11 says, 09:59 "For I know the plans I have for You, 10:01 declares the Lord, 10:03 plans to prosper you and not harm you, 10:08 plans to give you hope and a future." 10:11 Father, I don't read sickness in any of that. 10:17 I read good things in that. 10:20 So I'm praying that those things 10:26 that You have planned for us 10:27 will become manifested in our lives. 10:32 And I thank You that You have only good in store for us. 10:39 Matthew 25:40 says, 10:41 "Whatever you did for one of the least of these 10:43 brothers of Mine, you did it for Me." 10:49 Father, I thank You for the good works 10:53 that our healthcare professionals do. 10:59 The compassion that they have and... 11:03 Lord, I know that it's in Your heart too, 11:07 to work through those professionals 11:11 to show love to the patients. 11:19 Matthew 6:34 says, 11:22 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, 11:24 for tomorrow will worry about itself. 11:27 Each day has enough trouble of its own." 11:31 We're aware of that for sure. 11:35 So I pray God that You will touch those 11:39 who seem to be overwhelmed with worry... 11:43 about what the future holds. 11:46 It brings anxiety to them and they have trouble sleeping 11:50 at night it affects their health. 11:54 Worry is such a troublesome thing 11:57 and... 11:59 you don't guarantee that life will be without it. 12:02 In fact, you say that each day has its own share of worry 12:08 of trouble rather, I guess, 12:10 that You will help us to know the difference between 12:14 trouble and worrying about our trouble. 12:19 Again, we rely on You to be our confidence and our hope 12:25 and to bring everything to You knowing that 12:28 You care about us. 12:31 And because You have good plan for us, 12:34 we can leave our cares with You 12:37 and not have to worry about anything. 12:42 So, Father, I pray for those who are watching, 12:46 who have issues with their marriage and family... 12:51 for those who are in need of salvation, O mighty God, 12:54 I pray that You will 12:56 allow Your Holy Spirit to stir up in them. 13:01 The cry to cry out to You for salvation. 13:07 For surgeries, 13:09 those who are going through surgeries 13:10 and who need healing... 13:14 Father, we remember. 13:19 The burdens are lifted 13:23 At Calvary 13:28 Calvary, thank God, 13:33 For Calvary 13:36 So we bring our burdens 13:40 That they will be lifted at Calvary 13:46 Jesus is 13:48 Very near 13:54
