00:31 From Romans 12:10-18 and verse 21, we read,
00:37 "Be kindly affectionate to one another 00:39 with brotherly love, 00:40 in honor giving preference to one another, 00:43 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, 00:46 serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, 00:48 patient in tribulation, 00:50 continuing steadfastly in prayer, 00:53 distributing to the needs of the saints, 00:55 given to hospitality. 00:57 Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. 01:01 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 01:04 Be of the same mind toward one another. 01:07 Do not set your mind on high things, 01:09 but associate with the humble. 01:11 Do not be wise in your own opinion. 01:14 Repay no one evil for evil. 01:16 Have regard for good things in the sight of all men." 01:19 And I like this part. 01:20 "If it is possible, as much as depends on you, 01:23 live peaceably with all men. 01:25 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." 01:31 Our topic today is bullying. 01:34 Throughout His life on earth, 01:36 Jesus was our example on how to live. 01:39 In everything He did 01:40 He never ceased to show kindness. 01:43 When someone was hurting, He came to their aid. 01:46 When others hurt Him, 01:47 He never once repaid evil for evil. 01:50 Instead, He lifted them up in prayer. 01:53 This is just what He calls us to do. 01:55 Never to look down upon others or speak a hurtful word, 01:59 but be there for those who need us. 02:01 And when others hurt us, 02:03 pray for them, show them kindness. 02:06 Jesus wants us to care for one another 02:09 and to show love. 02:15 The way that He loves 02:19 Is as fair as the day 02:23 That blesses my way 02:27 With light 02:31 The way that is He loves 02:34 Is as soft as the breeze 02:38 Caressing the trees 02:42 At night 02:46 So tender and precious 02:50 Is He 02:53 Untainted with Jesus 02:57 I will be 03:01 The way that He loves 03:06 Is so thrilling 03:08 Because His love 03:12 Reaches even me 03:21 Dear Heavenly Father, 03:23 I come to You requesting Your presence 03:24 in our lives. 03:26 Help us to live as You lived and show love to others. 03:29 Please be with those who are hurting 03:31 from the hurtful words and actions of others, 03:34 may they know Your peace and be comforted. 03:36 May You show them Your love 03:38 and that they have great value in Your sight, 03:40 that they are not worthless. 03:42 Be also with those 03:43 who we may consider to be our enemies. 03:45 Maybe we not repay evil for evil, 03:47 but give everything to you. 03:49 Help us to show love and kindness to them 03:52 that may they be influenced by our example. 03:54 Help them to see you through us. 03:56 This we pray in Jesus' name. 03:58 Amen. 04:03 Dear Jesus, so many children including myself 04:06 are being bullied. 04:08 I pray for the bullies 04:09 who are causing suffering to others. 04:12 Helps them to find Jesus so they will be nice to others. 04:17 Dear Jesus, thank You for the love 04:19 You have for each one of Your children. 04:22 You are my best friend. 04:24 I pray that bullies will meet my best friend. 04:27 Please help the ones 04:29 who are being bullied to be strong. 04:32 Help them to remember Jesus will always be with them. 04:35 Help them to show the love of Jesus 04:38 to those who like to hurt others. 04:42 In Jesus' name, amen. 04:48 Our dear Heavenly Father, 04:50 thank You for another day of life. 04:52 Lord, today I think of those 04:53 that are being bullied by schoolmates, 04:57 by coworkers, by their bosses, or maybe online. 05:01 Lord, You know what they are going through. 05:03 I ask that You will show them Your love. 05:06 Send somebody to show Your love to them. 05:09 May they know 05:10 that You love them beyond measure 05:12 and that they are worth everything 05:14 in Your eyes. 05:15 Lord, we thank You and we praise You 05:17 for Your everlasting care for each one of us. 05:20 In Jesus' name we pray. 05:22 Amen. 05:28 The way that He loves 05:31 Is as deep as the sea 05:36 His spirit 05:38 Shall be my stay 05:44 The way that He loves 05:48 Is as pure as a rose 05:52 Much sweeter 05:54 He grows each day 06:00 His peace hovers 06:02 Near like a dove 06:06 I know 06:08 There is a heaven above 06:15 To Jesus I'll cling 06:19 Life's a wonderful thing 06:23 Because of the way 06:28 That He loves 06:35 Father, God, we wanna lift up 06:36 those who are being bullied right now. 06:38 Those who are in need of peace, love and understanding. 06:42 So God we ask that You give them the peace 06:44 that passes all understanding 06:45 and also surround them with people that love them 06:48 and will cherish them 06:49 and show them that they are loved. 06:52 God, we also wanna lift up those who are bullying. 06:54 Those who are being mean to people, 06:56 hurting people's feelings 06:58 and putting emotional stress on others. 07:01 God, we ask that You'll help them 07:02 to realize their wrongdoing and turn away from that 07:05 and become followers of you and bring people to you. 07:09 We ask all this in Jesus' name. 07:11 Amen. 07:17 Our Heavenly Father, we pray for those who, 07:20 for whatever reason 07:21 are experiencing bullying in society, 07:24 needlessly being pushed aside and overlooked 07:28 and being minimized as irrelevant. 07:31 Father, we pray for those whose hearts have been bruised 07:34 from this unjust treatment. 07:37 And, Lord, we pray that 07:38 those who are perpetrating this behavior 07:41 that is so distasteful 07:43 will remember that You said in Your Word, 07:46 "Just as You want men to do to you, 07:48 you also do to them likewise," 07:51 in Luke 6:31. 07:53 So, Lord, we pray for You to shelter 07:55 those who seem to be defenseless 07:57 and send aid to their side. 08:00 But give a heart and a conscience 08:02 to those who are perpetrating this behavior 08:04 that lives around them 08:06 may be blessed instead of bullied. 08:08 In Jesus' name we pray. 08:10 Amen. 08:15 Father God, thank You 08:16 for being a God of justice and love. 08:20 You know, the effects that bullying has on people. 08:23 It hurts. 08:25 It makes us feel unloved, unworthy, and alone. 08:29 So I pray for every person 08:31 who has been a victim to bullying 08:33 that You would heal their hurting hearts 08:36 and take away any bitterness that they might hold. 08:39 Help us to have the strength to turn the other cheek 08:43 and pray for those that have hurt us. 08:46 I also pray for the ones 08:47 who find satisfaction in bringing pain to others. 08:52 God, soften their hearts 08:54 and show them what true peace and love is. 08:57 And remind us that we should forgive others 09:01 just as You have forgiven us. 09:03 Thank You for being a God who cares. 09:06 And it's in Your name I pray. 09:07 Amen. 09:12 Ephesians 6:12 says, 09:15 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, 09:17 but against the rulers, against the authorities, 09:20 against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, 09:24 against the spiritual forces of evil 09:26 in the heavenly places." 09:30 Lord, when we're dealing with bullies and enemies, 09:33 help us remember that they are influenced 09:36 by the god of this world who has blinded them 09:40 to Your glorious gospel. 09:44 So we pray for them to be saved 09:47 and to give them the grace and mercy 09:50 that none of us deserve. 09:54 Father, for the partner 09:57 who is recently diagnosed with cancer, 10:01 for the son in prison, 10:03 facing trial for a murder that he did not commit, 10:07 for his heartbroken father, for the mother of two, 10:12 who has heart problems and a tumor on her ovaries. 10:16 Lord, God, I pray that You will be merciful 10:19 and grant healing. 10:24 For the son needing deliverance from addiction, 10:28 for the family struggling not to enable him. 10:35 Father, be gracious and please grant deliverance. 10:43 For those battling demonic harassment, 10:46 who can't break the chains that the enemy holds them. 10:51 Jesus, You are the way, You are the truth and the life, 10:57 You can break those chains. 11:00 So, Father, deliver like only You can. 11:10 For families 11:13 of those who are dealing with depression. 11:17 And for those that are actually dealing 11:20 with depression, 11:24 for little children... 11:28 for the unsaved, for marriages... 11:38 for those dealing with physical ailments, 11:41 from heart disease to COVID-19. 11:49 Dear God, I ask that You would grant healing, 11:53 touch Your people, meet the needs of Your people. 12:01 I'm sure You have people on your prayer list. 12:06 Sometimes we see the same names with the same needs 12:10 week after week on our prayer lists. 12:14 And I'm often frustrated with that 12:15 and think surely you can pray something fresh. 12:19 There has to be something else that needs prayer in your life. 12:23 But I recall the acronym PUSH, 12:27 pray until something happens. 12:31 When we trust God for change or for healing, 12:34 when we seek His Word for knowledge and wisdom, 12:38 and we persistently pray until the answer comes, 12:43 that is effectual, fervent prayer. 12:47 And that's the type of person 12:48 that I want to be praying for me. 12:51 Until the answer comes, keep praying. 12:57 So for whoever is on your list, 13:00 that you may get weary of praying for saint, 13:06 don't stop praying. 13:09 And regarding bullying one more verse, 13:12 Philippians 4:5 reminds us 13:16 to let our gentleness be evident to all men. 13:22 Thank you for taking this time to Pause to Pray. 13:27 And I pray that God will keep
