00:30 Romans 8:14-17 says,
00:33 "For those who are led by the Spirit of God 00:35 are the children of God. 00:36 The spirit you received does not make you slaves 00:39 so that you live in fear again, 00:41 rather the spirit you received 00:43 brought about your adoption to sonship. 00:45 And by Him, we cry 'Abba Father.'" 00:48 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit 00:50 that we are God's children. 00:52 Now, if we are children, then we are heirs, 00:54 heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. 00:57 If indeed we share in His sufferings in order 01:00 that we may also share in His glory. 01:03 Adoption, 01:05 a judge utters, a few words, 01:07 pounds, his gavel on the desk, 01:09 and the child receives a new family. 01:12 Spiritually speaking, 01:14 adoption is the gracious act of God, 01:16 wherein He makes justified sinners 01:20 His beloved children. 01:22 To be adopted is to receive God's name 01:25 and to have access to God's throne, 01:28 to His pity, His protection, His provision, His discipline, 01:32 and His promise to never abandon us. 01:36 Once we believe in Christ 01:37 and we commit to spend our life living for God, 01:40 we belong to Him. 01:42 That's a good feeling, right? 01:46 Jesus, my Lord will love me forever 01:51 From Him no power of evil can sever 01:55 He gave His life to ransom 01:59 My soul Now, 02:01 I belong 02:03 To Him Now, 02:08 I belong to Jesus 02:12 Jesus belongs to me 02:17 Not for the years of time alone 02:23 But for eternity 02:33 Oh, Lord, thank You for giving us 02:35 the assurance of freedom 02:37 and the free amazing love for us. 02:40 We thank You in Jesus' name. 02:42 Amen. 02:46 Heavenly Father, You are Almighty God, 02:49 yet You call us Your children 02:52 because Jesus redeemed us from the bondage of sin 02:55 that we might receive the adoption 02:57 as Your sons and daughters. 02:59 What a great and wonderful gift You have given us 03:02 through Jesus, our Redeemer. 03:04 You've sent forth the Spirit of Your Son into our hearts, 03:08 allowing us to cry out to You. 03:10 Our loving Father, 03:12 oh, Father God, we come to You 03:14 seeking mercy and help for our brothers and sisters 03:18 affected and suffering 03:19 because of this COVID virus 03:22 and all other diseases, Lord. 03:24 We pray for healing, for strength, 03:27 for restoration to good health. 03:29 Lord, we also pray for the outpouring 03:31 of the Holy Spirit to heal us spiritually, 03:34 so that we're ready 03:36 for Jesus' glorious and soon return. 03:39 Oh, Lord, we're looking forward to life with You forever 03:43 in heaven and the new earth. 03:45 Lord, we love You, 03:46 and we pray this in Jesus' name. 03:48 Amen. 03:52 I thank You, Father. 03:54 I thank You for my adoption. 03:56 My adoption into the church family. 03:59 I thank You, Father, that You no longer see who I was, 04:03 but you see who I am and You see who I will be. 04:06 Father, I thank You 04:08 for Your mercy and Your compassion. 04:10 And I ask, Father, that You show the same mercy 04:13 and compassion to others. 04:15 My brothers and sisters who seek You out, 04:18 who love You, Father, 04:19 they too might be adopted into the church 04:22 and into your family. 04:24 I thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers 04:27 in Jesus' name. 04:28 Amen. 04:34 Once I was lost in sin's degradation 04:40 Jesus came down to bring me salvation 04:46 He lifted me 04:48 From sorrow and shame 04:52 Now I belong to Him 04:58 Now I belong to Jesus 05:03 Jesus belongs to me 05:08 Not for the years of time alone 05:13 But for eternity 05:23 Dear Abba Father, 05:25 since creation, You claim us as Your children. 05:28 You never wanted that to change, 05:30 but sin entered Your perfect world 05:33 and spoiled Your plan 05:34 and our relationship. 05:37 Yet You continue to love us and called us back. 05:41 Jesus lived a sinless life 05:43 and offered Himself as a repairer 05:46 of the broken family ties. 05:48 Thank You for making it possible 05:51 through adoption 05:52 to once again be Your child. 05:55 Thank You in the name of our big brother Jesus. 05:58 Amen. 06:02 Father, I come to You again today 06:04 and thank You 06:05 for Your Spirit of adoption, Father. 06:07 The fact that You chose us to be adopted into Your family. 06:12 It's just amazing, Father, 06:14 the fact that You have redeemed us 06:16 so that we can receive that adoption as sons. 06:19 Father, we are so blessed by You, 06:22 blessed with all spiritual blessings 06:23 in heavenly places in Christ. 06:26 And, Father, You chose us 06:28 that we would be sons, 06:30 not just born naturally Father, 06:32 but You have adopted us. 06:33 You picked us to be in Your family. 06:36 The love that You have for us is amazing. 06:39 And I thank You so much, Father. 06:41 I love You so much. 06:43 And I call out to You, Father, Abba Father. 06:50 Dear God, thank You for the blessing of adoption. 06:53 Thank you for the men and women 06:55 who have opened their homes 06:57 to those who don't have a family 06:58 to call their own. 07:00 I pray for those 07:01 who are still looking to find a place to belong, 07:03 that You will place them where they need to be, 07:06 where they will be cared for and loved. 07:08 We thank You for everything You've done for us. 07:11 And we ask these things in Jesus' name. 07:14 Amen, 07:20 Joy floods my soul 07:22 For Jesus has saved me 07:27 Freed from my sin 07:29 That long had enslaved me 07:32 His precious blood 07:35 He gave to Redeem 07:39 Now I belong to Him 07:45 Now I belong to Jesus 07:51 Jesus belongs to me 07:56 Not for the years of time 08:00 alone 08:03 But for eternity 08:13 Loving Father, when I think of how much You love me, 08:16 to call me Your child. 08:19 And when I think of telling others 08:23 that they can be Your child also, 08:26 what joy that fills me. 08:29 Thank You, Lord, 08:30 that being Yours 08:33 and having You as a Father, 08:37 it prompts me and encourages me to worship 08:40 and to live my life 08:42 in a manner that pleases and honors You, Lord. 08:47 Father, I lift up men and women 08:49 who didn't grow up with good relationships 08:51 with their fathers. 08:53 For those who are distant from their earthly fathers, 08:57 Holy Spirit, I ask that You would bring healing 09:00 to their minds and their hearts, 09:02 fill the emptiness in their hearts 09:07 with the tender understanding of adoption. 09:12 Thank You, Father, for the hope that we have 09:15 through adoption. 09:16 Thank You for the healing. 09:18 Thank You for the inheritance. 09:20 Thank You for Your presence that lives within us 09:23 because of Your adoption. 09:26 And, Lord, I even thank You for the discipline 09:31 that reminds us of how much You love 09:33 and care for us. 09:35 We are Your children, 09:39 You are our Father. 09:43 Right now, I just want to pray for a very serious situation 09:48 for missing children. 09:52 Father, You know where these missing souls are. 09:57 God, I ask that 09:59 You would just give peace of mind to the parents, 10:05 the hurting families. 10:10 And, Father, I pray for the, 10:13 those who or holding the missing child, the captors. 10:19 God, I pray that 10:20 You would stir their hearts 10:24 to release those missing children 10:26 back to their families. 10:33 God, bring restoration 10:38 or bring closure and healing. 10:43 Lord, I pray for peace in our homes, in our families. 10:53 Lord, I pray for grandparents 10:55 who are raising their grandchildren. 10:59 Father, I ask that You will give them strength 11:03 and wisdom and courage 11:06 and love, 11:10 great understanding. 11:18 Father, for those who are encountering 11:20 physical ailments, 11:24 disease and viruses, 11:28 God, this world is such an ugly place. 11:32 So many people are hurting and sick. 11:39 Lord, I thank You that 11:41 You have created our bodies 11:46 to mend, to heal. 11:49 But we know, Lord, 11:51 that ultimately it is Your mighty touch 11:54 that does the healing. 11:57 So I pray, oh God, that You will let healing rise 12:04 in the lives of the sick. 12:09 For those who are facing financial needs, 12:14 I pray, Lord, that You would be a provider. 12:19 For those who have cars, who need maintenance, 12:24 those who have houses that need upkeep 12:28 and they're finding themselves 12:30 without provision to do so. 12:33 Lord, I pray that You would please provide. 12:40 For those who need finances 12:43 to cover medical expenses. 12:47 Father, I'm asking on You to provide in a miraculous way. 12:56 Father God, thank You that You are faithful. 13:01 You are our Father. 13:06 John 1:12 reminds us, 13:09 "But as many as received Him, 13:11 to them He gave the right to become children of God, 13:15 to those who believe in His name." 13:17 And in 1 John 3:1, it says, 13:18 "Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us 13:23 that we should be called children of God. 13:25 Therefore the world does not know us 13:28 because it did not know Him." 13:32 But we belong to Him, right? 13:34 Now, I belong to Jesus 13:38 Jesus belongs to me 13:40 Not for the years of time alone 13:44 But for eternity 13:51 Please
