00:31 Mercy is defined as compassion or forgiveness 00:34 shown towards someone whom it is within one's power to 00:37 punish or harm. 00:39 Basically, mercy is not getting what you deserve. 00:42 Have you ever found yourself needing mercy but didn't feel 00:46 worthy to receive it? 00:48 God's great mercy is found in Lamentations 3:22-24. 00:52 "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed because His 00:56 compassions fail not, they are new every morning." 00:59 Great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion 01:02 says my soul, therefore I hope in Him. 01:04 Have you been treated unjustly yet you have chosen to extend 01:08 mercy? Jesus says in Matthew 5:7 "Blessed are the merciful 01:13 for they shall obtain mercy." 01:14 I am so thankful that no matter my imperfections, 01:19 or even when I'm falsely accused, I serve a loving Father 01:22 who is always quick to forgive and He extends His loving mercy 01:26 in my time of need. 01:28 He's my example of mercy and He longs to hand out mercy 01:32 to you. ♪♪ 01:37 Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you that no matter 01:42 the mistakes we may have made, our shortcomings, or even 01:47 in times of being falsely accused, you are anxiously 01:51 waiting to come to our rescue extending your great mercy 01:55 in our time of need. I thank you Father that as your word 02:00 declares that your mercies really are new with each day 02:05 that you give. I thank you Father that in no matter 02:10 what we may face in this life, we can rest assured in your 02:14 promise and because of your faithfulness we can find 02:19 new mercy every day. Lord, as I give thanks for all these 08:41 blessings that you have supplied, I thank you for the 08:45 things you have withheld, that you've kept me away from 08:49 in your love. Those things that I deserved but you were merciful 08:55 and you kept them away from me. Remind me what destruction 09:02 I had earned as a sinner. Remind me so that in those 09:07 moments when I believe I've earned anything from you 09:10 I will recall your great, tender loving mercy. 09:15 Ignite a deep desire in my heart to live as one who truly 09:22 has been changed by mercy, that I may extend mercy to 09:27 others Lord. 09:33 Father, I know that there are those who are watching 09:36 who have great need? I pray for those who are encountering 09:44 a loss of job, I ask God that you would provide gainful employment 09:51 for those who are looking for work. Father that you would 09:52 provide finances for their need, for the bills that never 09:53 seem to stop. Father, we ask that you would supply 10:12 meet every need God according to your riches and glory. 10:18 And Father, help us to be good stewards of all that you entrust 10:23 us with. Father, I pray for those who are sick, 10:33 Father, we pray that you would step in and as a great physician 10:40 you would heal viruses, Father, infections of the brain 10:49 dear God, I ask in Jesus name that you would heal... 10:54 For those who are dealing with aggressive cancer, Holy God I ask 11:03 in Jesus name that you would extend your hand of mercy 11:07 and healing right now extend your healing Lord. 11:14 Lord, I know that with sickness comes fear, unknown whether 11:21 what the future is going to hold. My God, I pray that you would 11:26 please take away that fear and replace it with trust in you 11:31 that you are able to heal, that you hear our prayer 11:34 that you hear our cry for healing. 11:41 And Father for those who are suffering from the loss of a 11:51 loved one, Lord, please provide peace, and love... 11:59 Thank you for being there for us oh God. 12:04 We thank you, Lord, that you are a comfort to those who are 12:10 discomforted. And Lord, remind us that we have authority 12:17 in you, we have the power in the blood of Christ in us 12:23 so stir up the mind of Christ in us that we will think Lord 12:29 as you think. We will say what you would say, we will act 12:38 as you would act. Lord, teach us to delight to show mercy 12:48 like you delight to show mercy. 12:50 As Daniel 9:9 tells us: The Lord our God is merciful 12:55 and forgiving even though we have rebelled against Him. 13:00 Lord, thank you for your mercy.. Just take a moment to thank Him 13:10 for His mercy. 13:11 Thank you Lord for your mercy, what we deserved, 13:27 you have kept us from God.
