00:31 Today we pray for marriages.
00:33 Hebrews 13:4 speaks of the sanctity of marriage. 00:37 The writer states, 00:38 "Marriage should be honored by all, 00:40 and the marriage bed kept pure. 00:42 For God will judge the adulterer 00:44 and all the sexually immoral." 00:46 The concept of marriage was ordained at creation. 00:49 God gave marriage His stamp of approval. 00:51 He condones it. 00:53 Marriage is a lifetime commitment 00:55 made to God and your spouse. 00:57 Unfortunately, 00:58 man has fallen for Satan's corruption of marriage 01:00 based on lust and polluted ideas. 01:03 Satan is creative at the ways he attacks marriages. 01:06 It's so important to guard against 01:08 allowing the devil into your relationship. 01:11 So the problems don't develop in your marriage. 01:14 We see the many tragic repercussions 01:16 of homes destroyed by broken marriages. 01:20 The key to a successful marriage 01:22 is keeping Jesus in the center of your relationship. 01:26 Though problems will still arise, 01:28 ask Jesus for guidance and wisdom, 01:31 turn to Him for understanding 01:32 and a continual flow of His love for your partner. 01:44 Our most gracious kind and loving Father in Heaven, 01:48 we thank You and praise You for today. 01:51 We are so grateful for Your faithfulness 01:54 and mercies that are new every morning. 01:57 Thank You, Lord, for the gift of marriage. 02:00 You sanctify it, and honor it. 02:02 But Lord, please guide all married couples 02:07 to allow You to be the center of their relationship. 02:11 Help them to be faithful to each other. 02:14 Give them wisdom and strength to protect their marriage. 02:18 May pure love, forgiveness and respect 02:21 abound in their marriage. 02:23 Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayer. 02:27 In Jesus' name. Amen. 02:33 Thank you dear Heavenly Father for all Your blessings. 02:37 Thank You especially for our marriage. 02:39 Thank You for this beautiful special institution 02:43 that symbolize that relationship 02:46 that we can have with You, our Father in heaven. 02:51 Thank You for teaching us how to love. 02:55 Help us to love our spouse. 02:57 Thank You, Lord, 02:59 for the opportunity to love them. 03:01 Most important, Lord, 03:03 help us to preserve our marriages 03:05 for Your glory and honor. 03:07 Help us to make firm our marriages 03:11 a little heaven on earth. 03:13 Help us, Lord, to represent You 03:16 and to respect and love our families. 03:19 Thank You in Jesus' name. Amen. 03:24 Heavenly Lord, our Creator. 03:27 Thank You for the gift of marriage. 03:29 Help us to walk in such a way 03:31 that Your purpose can be fulfilled in us. 03:34 Give us divine grace to glorify Your name. 03:37 Help us to remain faithful through the ups and downs, 03:41 learning the lessons You have placed in life for us. 03:44 Learning to give and not take, asking not demand. 03:48 Help us not to take one another for granted. 03:51 For those marriages that are in difficulty, 03:53 Lord, we ask for special strength and grace 03:56 to turn trials into blessings, darkness into light. 04:00 Direct our steps, Lord, 04:01 and help us to comprehend more of Your agape love 04:05 to our relationships. 04:06 In Jesus' name, Amen. 04:16 I need Thee every hour 04:20 Most gracious Lord 04:26 No tender voice 04:29 Like thine 04:32 Can peace afford 04:38 I need Thee, 04:41 O I need Thee 04:45 Every hour 04:49 I need Thee 04:52 O bless me now, 04:55 My Savior 04:57 I come to Thee 05:06 I need Thee every hour 05:09 Stay Thou nearby 05:14 Temptations lose their power 05:18 When Thou art nigh 05:24 I need Thee, 05:26 O I need Thee 05:30 Every hour I need Thee 05:35 O bless me now, 05:38 My Savior 05:40 I come to Thee 05:52 Heavenly Father, as we contemplate 05:54 all the aspects of marriage, may we follow the counsel 05:58 of Your Word that love endures and is kind, 06:03 that we would put our spouse above ourselves, 06:07 that our words would not portray rudeness 06:10 to each other. 06:12 We pray, Lord, 06:14 that we will rejoice in truth, hope, 06:17 and a common belief in the God we serve. 06:20 Amen. 06:24 Most Gracious Heavenly Father as we bow before You right now. 06:29 We're lifting up marriages, 06:31 we're lifting up those who have come together 06:34 in the honor and sanctity that You have laid out 06:37 in the principles of Your Word. 06:39 Father, they're going through possibly stress and strain 06:43 that they've never experienced before. 06:46 So many people have lost their jobs 06:48 or source of income. 06:50 Many people have lost ones that they love, 06:53 and they've cherished 06:54 and they longed to see again in the courts of heaven. 06:58 So, Father, I just want to claim for them 07:01 a promise that You've given in Isaiah 41:10, 07:05 that You are there with them, that You are their God, 07:09 that You will strengthen them, that You will help them, 07:12 that You will uphold these unions 07:14 with the right hand of Your righteousness 07:17 that You'll provide food, 07:18 You'll provide sustenance in this hour of their trial. 07:22 We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. 07:28 Our Father which art in heaven 07:29 as we approach Your throne today, 07:30 we want to pause to give you praise 07:32 and honor and glory. 07:34 Thank You that You're there for us. 07:36 What a storm that we're living in right now. 07:39 Loss of jobs, children home from school, 07:42 marriages are being challenged. 07:45 How're we gonna pay the house payment. 07:46 How're we gonna pay the car payment. 07:48 How're we gonna have food, shelter. 07:50 And, Lord, we didn't realize that You're the one 07:52 that was promised to meet all of our needs, 07:54 but we need You. 07:55 We ask that You come in a very special way, 07:57 and that anoint, 07:58 and covers with Your shield that You have, 08:01 mom and dad and the marriage may be strong. 08:04 May each one spend time in prayer 08:06 seeking Your face. 08:08 And may we as we come close to You each day, 08:10 may we see more than 08:11 what's going on in the world. 08:12 May we see Jesus in a very special way. 08:14 Bond the marriage together we pray. 08:17 Bless the family the children, each one 08:19 and we ask this in the name of Jesus and for His sake. 08:22 Amen. 08:29 I need Thee every hour 08:34 Teach me Thy precious will 08:39 And Thy rich 08:42 Promises In me, 08:46 Lord, please fulfill 08:50 I need Thee, oh, 08:54 I need Thee 08:58 Every hour 09:01 I need Thee Oh, 09:05 Bless me now, 09:08 My Savior! 09:11 I come 09:14 To Thee 09:23 And, Father, as we continue to pray for marriages, 09:25 I ask God that You would grant unity. 09:31 The couples would be in agreement, 09:33 letting nothing come between them, Lord. 09:38 And, Father, I pray that You would help 09:41 couples to identify and work through 09:44 what is not pleasing to You, 09:47 so that they can continually grow 09:51 spiritually, physically and mentally 09:53 growing in their marriages to honor You, Lord. 09:59 Father, open our eyes to see You at work 10:01 in all of our relationships. 10:06 Father, heal our hearts of past hurts. 10:11 And for those who are struggling to trust, 10:16 Lord, I pray that You would restore trust. 10:21 Give us the ability to be completely transparent 10:23 with one another 10:26 and to earn the respect 10:27 that will allow us to be honest 10:30 and vulnerable with one another. 10:36 Lord, I pray that 10:37 You would help those in marriages 10:39 and other relationships 10:42 to forgive for hurtful offensive words or actions. 10:50 Father, may we walk in forgiveness 10:52 and never forget that 10:56 you say unless we forgive one another, 10:58 you won't forgive us. 11:03 Help us to show Your mercy and grace. 11:06 Lord, no matter how many times. 11:11 And, Father, give us the grace not to bring up the past. 11:16 Those hurts and failures that we've done to each other. 11:20 Lord, just help us 11:22 to place them under the blood of Jesus 11:24 and give each other a chance to move on. 11:35 Father, I pray for those 11:36 who have been through the pain 11:39 of divorce and separation. 11:45 God, I ask in Jesus name, 11:46 that You would just wrap Your arms around them 11:48 and remind them that 11:50 You're not through with them, 11:54 that You forgive. 11:57 Thank You for Your love. 12:02 Precious God, we love You, Lord. 12:11 If you know someone 12:13 who has marriage and much need of prayer, 12:17 just take some time to pray for them right now. 12:58 Lord, I lift up the homeless. 13:02 I lift up those in poverty. 13:05 Those who are in fear of losing their source of income, 13:09 their fear of being homeless. 13:14 I pray, Father, for those who are in need 13:17 of a spouse, desiring a relationship, 13:20 God make that happen 13:22 according to Your will for them. 13:26 And I pray for you. 13:29 The Lord bless you and keep you. 13:32 The Lord make His face shine upon you 13:34 and be gracious to you. 13:37 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you 13:41 and give you peace. 13:44 Thank you for taking time to Pause to Pray. 13:48 Please send us your prayer request 13:50 or become a part of our Prayer Warrior Team. 13:53 For more information, please visit 3abn.tv/prayer 13:57 or call for prayer at 618-627-4651 extension 1. 14:03 And thank you for being a part of the worldwide 3ABN family. |
