00:31 Hope is a feeling of expectation,
00:33 a desire for a certain thing to happen, 00:36 a lot of people pray for a certain thing to happen 00:39 but it doesn't happen exactly the way they hoped it would. 00:42 For instance, they may have to go through 00:44 some muckety-muck to reach their expected outcome, 00:47 that thing that they so hoped for. 00:50 But to remind you, Romans 8:28, reads like this, 00:54 "And we know that God causes all things to work 00:56 together for good to those who love God, 00:59 to those who are called according to His purpose." 01:03 Now that's not a verse I typically think 01:06 of when I'm looking for hope, because it has a hint 01:10 of an uh-oh, why would God have to cause 01:13 something to cause to work together for good? 01:16 If there's any question or doubt, 01:18 I'm for bailing on the situation. 01:21 But God understands and He's going to work it out. 01:24 We just have to hold on to hope. 01:27 We serve the same God 01:28 who was with Daniel in the lions' den, 01:31 who is with the Hebrew children in the fiery furnace. 01:34 I'm sure that's not what any of them signed up for, 01:37 hoped for. 01:38 They just wanted to serve God. 01:42 But storms happen, and death is real. 01:46 God can calm the storm, and He has defeated the grave. 01:51 So even when things do look scary, 01:53 hopeless, God is much bigger than any circumstance 01:58 that can come against us. 02:00 If you have lost hope, during these challenging times, 02:04 let's spend some time asking God to restore that hope. 02:12 Father God, You are so big and so powerful, 02:17 there is nothing that you can't handle. 02:21 We know that during these times 02:23 people are looking for something 02:25 to give them hope. 02:27 So we ask that You would give us the opportunity 02:30 to share the truth of Your love with them. 02:33 I ask that lives would be changed 02:36 and Your light would shine through all of us 02:39 so bright that people all across the nation 02:42 would turn to You because You are our hope. 02:47 Thank You, Lord, for being the great, 02:50 big loving God that You are. 02:52 And it's in Jesus' name I pray. Amen. 02:58 Dear Heavenly Father, 03:00 thank You for the opportunity to come to You 03:02 with our praises and our needs. 03:05 You are an awesome God that cares for each one of us 03:09 that is listening this broadcast. 03:12 Thank You for the plan of salvation 03:14 and for Your Son that gave us forgiveness for our sins, 03:19 and the hope of eternal life with You. 03:22 We long for the day that we can see You face to face, 03:27 to talk to You as our best friend. 03:30 And we want to sit at Your feet and hear 03:33 about Your amazing love all over the universe. 03:38 Thank you, God. 03:39 Thank you, Jesus. 03:41 Thank you, the Holy Spirit, for all You have done 03:44 for what You are doing right now 03:47 and for all that You will do in the future. 03:51 But today, we thank You God 03:54 for the hope of eternal life. 04:00 Dear Heavenly Father, 04:02 I want You to please be with us 04:05 as we face this time of trouble, 04:07 this time in which we don't know 04:09 what's happening in this world, Lord. 04:11 It's easy, Lord, to fill our mind with negative 04:14 things with negative ideas, to watch negative things. 04:19 And I want You to help us change our mind, 04:22 our spirit, and help us to make the right choices, 04:25 Lord, help us to find hope in Your Word every day. 04:31 Help us to feel our hearts 04:33 and minds with You that we may be full of hope 04:37 and that others can see that You live in us 04:40 and that You are shining in our lives 04:43 regardless of the situation we're living in. 04:46 Help us to give hope to others, 04:48 Lord, because You are our provider 04:51 and You know Your plans for us 04:54 because You have a path that is directed to You, Lord. 04:59 And as we face this time, Lord, 05:02 continue to fill me up with hope 05:06 and give me a tangible reminder today 05:08 and always that You are with me every day. 05:12 Thank You, Lord, for listening to me 05:14 and helping me. 05:16 Thank You for restoring my soul. 05:18 In Jesus' name, amen. 05:24 How great the chasm that lay 05:29 Between us How high 05:32 The mountain I could not climb 05:38 In desperation, 05:42 I turned to heaven 05:45 And spoke your name 05:48 Into the night 05:52 Then through the darkness 05:56 Your loving kindness 05:59 Tore through the shadows 06:02 Of my soul 06:06 The work is finished 06:09 The end is written 06:13 Jesus Christ, 06:15 My living hope 06:20 Who could imagine 06:23 So great a mercy? 06:27 What heart could fathom 06:30 Such boundless grace? 06:33 The God of ages 06:36 Stepped down from glory 06:40 To wear my sin 06:43 And bear my shame 06:47 The cross has spoken, 06:51 I am forgiven 06:54 The King of kings 06:56 Calls me His own 07:01 Beautiful Savior, 07:04 I'm yours forever 07:08 Jesus Christ, 07:11 My living hope 07:16 Hallelujah, praise 07:20 The one who set me free 07:23 Hallelujah, death has lost 07:27 Its grip on me 07:29 You have broken every chain 07:33 There's salvation in your name 07:36 Jesus Christ, 07:39 My living 07:42 Hope 07:50 Our loving Heavenly Father, 07:52 when we need hope 07:53 there's one place that we can go, 07:56 that we know that we will receive hope. 07:59 And that's to You, Lord, 08:00 we come to You now for hope 08:03 and being able to handle the challenges 08:05 that are coming our way today, 08:07 and the challenges that will come our way 08:09 in the future. 08:11 And, Lord, we have a hope in Jesus Christ, 08:14 we have a hope in the resurrection, 08:16 we have a hope in eternal life. 08:18 And all of those things are wonderful. 08:20 And we thank You for those. 08:22 Sometimes we need immediate hope, 08:25 hope right now 08:26 in facing a particular situation. 08:28 And that is what's happening now, Lord, 08:30 we're asking for hope of the moment. 08:33 So we ask for You to please give it to us 08:36 now and always, 08:37 as we ask with a humble heart. 08:40 In Jesus' name, amen. 08:45 Dear Heavenly Father, 08:47 I thank You 08:48 that You have promised in Your Word, 08:50 that You will give hope to the hopeless 08:53 and be a friend unto the friendless. 08:56 I thank You that You are our hope, 09:00 our joy, our peace, our true source of contentment. 09:05 I thank You that everything we will ever need 09:08 is found in You. 09:10 I thank You, Lord, for the promise 09:13 that You have given us in Romans 15:13, 09:17 that declares, 09:18 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy 09:21 and peace as you trust in Him 09:24 so that you may overflow with hope, 09:27 by the power of the Holy Spirit." 09:30 Thank You, Dear Father, 09:31 that our hearts and spirits 09:33 can be renewed day by day in hope, 09:36 by the power of Your Holy Spirit. 09:39 In Jesus' name I pray.
