00:31 We've all experienced physical or emotional pain,
00:35 disappointment, sadness, illness, and such trouble. 00:39 These things can shake your faith, 00:41 especially when you've been praying and nothing happens. 00:44 And when nothing happens, 00:45 a lot of people quit trusting God. 00:48 In Psalm 13, 00:49 David teaches us how to trust God 00:51 during tough times. 00:53 He says, 00:54 "How long, O Lord? 00:56 Will You forget me forever? 00:57 How long will You hide Your face from me? 00:59 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, 01:02 having sorrow in my heart daily? 01:04 How long will my enemy be exalted over me?" 01:08 I'm sure we've all felt the same way. 01:10 David feels utterly forgotten, 01:13 but his conversation with God doesn't end there. 01:16 He continues in verse 5, 01:18 "But I have trusted in Your mercy, 01:20 my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 01:23 I will sing to the Lord, 01:24 because He has dealt bountifully with me." 01:27 Never forget that though we might feel forgotten, 01:31 forsaken as David did. 01:33 God is working in our lives, 01:36 not only to help us through the rough moments, 01:38 but He's working on our character. 01:40 Learning to trust God is part of growing our faith. 01:46 Don't allow your faith and trust to be so shallow 01:50 that you give up on God when things don't go your way. 01:54 Let's pray to be more mature, 01:56 and to grow in a trust 01:58 that allows God to make us who He can use. 02:07 Dear, Father, you know that 02:09 when problems unexpectedly arrive in our lives, 02:13 we tend to feel discouraged and we lose hope. 02:17 We forget that 02:18 you are the most important person in our lives. 02:22 And thus we don't have trust in You. 02:26 Please help us see what our eyes cannot see. 02:30 Help us see the lessons that You want us 02:33 to learn from all our tribulations, 02:37 but most of all, 02:39 help us never to stop trusting, loving, and obeying You. 02:43 In Jesus' name, amen. 02:49 Lord, I thank You for Your love and faithfulness to us. 02:52 Lord, Your Word shows time and time again, 02:54 how You've been faithful 02:55 and that Your people can trust You. 02:57 And just as Your people in the past, 02:59 Lord, we can trust You also with every aspect of our lives, 03:03 that as You jumpstarting You, Lord, 03:05 and should be glorified in our lives. 03:06 I pray to You to help us to trust others. 03:09 And I ask the Lord for discerning heart. 03:11 Lord, that we would be able to with Your Holy Spirit's help, 03:14 be able to know whom to watch, and whom to trust, 03:17 and whom not to trust. 03:19 Lord, that we would share Your love 03:21 with each and every person we come in contact with, 03:23 that You should be glorified. 03:25 I thank You, Lord, 03:26 that You're God 03:28 is so consistent and so faithful. 03:30 And, Lord, we can truly trust You 03:32 without hesitation and without fear. 03:34 And that is such a wonderful thing 03:36 that in the name of Christ, I thank You. 03:38 Amen. 03:45 'Tis so sweet to trust 03:50 In Jesus 03:52 Just to take Him 03:56 At His Word 03:59 Just to rest 04:02 Upon His promise 04:05 Just to know, 04:08 "Thus saith the Lord!" 04:14 Jesus, Jesus, 04:17 How I trust Him! 04:21 How I've proved Him 04:24 O'er and o'er 04:28 Jesus, Jesus, 04:31 Precious Jesus! 04:35 Oh, for grace 04:38 To trust Him more! 04:43 Oh, how sweet to trust 04:47 In Jesus 04:50 Just to trust 04:52 His cleansing blood 04:56 Just in simple faith 05:00 To plunge me 05:02 'Neath the healing, 05:06 Cleansing flood! 05:14 Father, Your Word says that we overcome not by might 05:18 and not by power, but by Your Spirit. 05:21 So I lean into you 05:23 believing that You are at work 05:24 in the unexpected adventures in my life. 05:28 I trust in Your goodness no matter my circumstance. 05:31 I stand on the integrity of Your character, 05:34 especially when I faced the impossible. 05:36 You are good, You do good, 05:39 and You are working in all things for my good. 05:42 You come to set me free. 05:44 So I believe You for freedom, for hope, for healing, 05:47 for rescue, and for deliverance. 05:50 I choose to believe that 05:51 the impossible is where You start. 05:53 Miracles are what You do. 05:55 I believe in the name of Jesus for signs and wonders 05:58 and miracles in my life. 06:00 I believe for the supernatural in every area of my life, 06:04 in my marriage, in my parenting, 06:06 in my ministry, and career, 06:07 and in my friendships, and in the community. 06:10 God, You are greater than anything I face. 06:13 I refused to fix my eyes on the obstacle and the enemy, 06:17 but instead I elevate my gaze to You. 06:20 I will speak Your words of life and truth, 06:23 agreeing with You alone, 06:25 believing You are who You said You are 06:27 and will do what You said You will do. 06:30 You are faithful, 06:32 You will come through that's who You are. 06:34 That's what You do. 06:35 By Your grace, I will live by faith. 06:38 By faith I believe 06:39 You will fulfill Your purpose for my life, 06:42 that I will reach the destiny You plan for me all along. 06:46 And I will give you all the glory 06:47 and everything I do as we travel there together, 06:51 in Jesus' precious name I pray. 06:53 Amen. 06:57 Eternal Father, we come before You now in Jesus' name. 07:01 Father, some trust in chariots, some trust in horses 07:04 in their own or another man's strength, 07:06 wisdom and knowledge 07:07 that You have allowed them to acquire. 07:09 We will remember Your name. 07:11 Father, You have told us to commit our ways unto You 07:14 and to trust You and You will grant the pass. 07:17 Father, as we see difficult and fearful days ahead. 07:20 Those chariots and horses of men cannot deliver us, 07:23 but we will trust in You 07:25 because Your Word tells us that we do not be afraid 07:27 of what man can do to us. 07:29 So, Father, we praise You. 07:31 And thank You for being the rock of our salvation 07:33 and whom we can trust. 07:34 In Jesus' name we pray. 07:36 Amen. 07:39 Our Heavenly Father, 07:41 thank You for being a trustworthy God. 07:44 As David said in Psalms 56:3, 07:47 "When I am afraid, I will trust in You." 07:50 Lord, these are scary times 07:51 that we're living through right now, 07:53 give me the strength to turn to You 07:56 when I am afraid. 07:57 Be with those that are listening, 07:59 give them that trust also. 08:02 Thank You for being with us to the end of time. 08:06 In Jesus' name we pray. 08:07 Amen. 08:11 God, we want to lift up those people right now 08:13 who had trust issues, 08:14 those who need help trust in You, 08:16 maybe trusting in other people. 08:19 God, sometimes there's experiences in our lives 08:21 where we don't think we can trust people or You anymore, 08:24 but we know that You are trustworthy, 08:26 we know that You are faithful. 08:27 God, we know that 08:29 when You started good work in us, 08:30 You were faithful to complete that work. 08:32 So, God, we ask that You open the hearts of those people 08:35 that they may trust again. 08:37 God, we thank You 08:38 for what You're going to do in the lives 08:39 of those people. 08:41 In Jesus' name we pray. 08:42 Amen. 08:48 Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus 08:54 Just from sin and self to cease 09:00 Just from Jesus 09:03 Simply taking 09:06 Life and rest, 09:09 And joy and peace 09:14 Jesus, Jesus, 09:17 How I trust Him! 09:21 How I've proved Him 09:24 O'er and o'er again 09:28 Jesus, Jesus, 09:32 Precious Jesus! 09:36 Oh, give me grace to trust You more! 09:46 Matthew 11:28-30 says, 09:50 "Come to Me, 09:51 all who are weary and heavy laden, 09:54 and I will give you rest." 09:56 Jesus says, 09:58 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, 10:01 for I am gentle and humble in heart, 10:04 and you will find rest for your souls. 10:07 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." 10:14 We can trust in God's plan for our lives. 10:17 Proverbs 3:5-6, 10:20 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, 10:22 do not lean on your own understanding, 10:24 in all your ways, acknowledge Him, 10:28 and He will make your paths straight." 10:34 Father, I ask that You will help me 10:36 to be unshakably dependent upon You, God. 10:41 Lord, I admit my limited strength 10:46 and my worry and doubt. 10:49 I'm a control junkie, 10:52 help me to release control to You, Lord. 10:57 You have better plans and intentions 10:59 for me than anyone. 11:02 So I have no reason not to trust You. 11:07 You are God of my mountains. 11:10 The things that are too giant for me to handle. 11:14 You're God of my mole-hills, 11:17 the things I think I can handle, 11:19 and yet they seem to trip me up. 11:23 Lord, I release all of it to You, Lord. 11:28 I place all my confidence in You, oh God, 11:32 in You alone, 11:34 so that others can look at me 11:36 and see what trust looks like. 11:40 I'm leaning on You, God, I'm depending on You. 11:43 I'm counting on You. 11:47 Is there something that you need to release to Him, 11:53 to let Him know that 11:56 there's absolutely no one else you can look to 12:00 for the help that you need. 12:02 Just take a moment to pause and pray. 12:35 I'm so glad I learned to trust Him 12:41 Precious Jesus, 12:44 Savior, Friend 12:48 And I know that You are with me 12:53 And You will be with me 12:57 To the end 13:01 Jesus, Jesus, 13:05 How I trust Him!
