00:31 Listen to Acts 8:26-31,
00:34 "But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip 00:36 saying, 'Get up and go south 00:38 to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.' 00:41 So he got up and went 00:42 and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, 00:44 a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, 00:48 who was in charge of all her treasure. 00:50 And he had come to Jerusalem to worship 00:52 and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, 00:54 reading the prophet Isaiah. 00:57 Then the spirit said to Philip, 'Go up and join the chariot.' 01:00 Philip ran up and heard him reading 01:02 Isaiah the prophet and said, 01:04 do you understand what you're reading? 01:06 And he said, 'Well, how could I unless someone guides me. 01:09 And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.'" 01:13 In Matthew 28:19, 01:15 Jesus commanded the disciples to go therefore 01:17 and make disciples of all the nations, 01:20 baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son 01:22 and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe 01:25 all that I commanded you. 01:28 As we pray today for missionaries, 01:30 remember that people need to hear 01:32 the message of this glorious gospel. 01:35 Each of us are called to fulfill this commission 01:37 and should pray for compassion for the lost, 01:40 and also pray that 01:42 the Holy Spirit will fill the lost 01:43 with a hunger for God and be drawn to Christ 01:46 as we present the message to them. 01:56 Father, we come before You today 01:57 in Jesus' name. 01:59 First Father, we want to lift up all those 02:00 who have left the comforts of home and family 02:03 and followed in the steps of our master 02:04 and elder brother, Jesus, to demonstrate Your love 02:07 and compassion to people 02:09 who are different from themselves. 02:10 Often those people who act unlovely, 02:13 unkind and downright mean, 02:15 please give them Your strength and love and compassion. 02:18 Then, Father, we ask that You would fill them 02:20 with the Holy Spirit and with a willingness to do 02:22 what He prompts them to do. 02:24 Fill them with confidence in knowing You're prompting. 02:27 Then, Father, take away their fear of men's faces 02:30 because You are their helper and there is nothing 02:32 that man can do to them. 02:34 Finally, Father, supply their spiritual needs, 02:36 that they don't become weary in well-doing 02:38 and supply their temporal needs as well 02:40 through those who aren't able to go. 02:43 We ask these blessings, Father, in Jesus' name 02:45 who was our example. 02:47 Amen. 02:50 Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You this day. 02:52 I thank You for all that You have done. 02:54 And now I bring before You all our missionaries 02:56 around the world that You will supply their needs, Father. 02:59 You know this time of crisis that we're going through. 03:02 I just pray that You will open the doors 03:04 of Your presence for them. 03:06 And You will lead and guide in their lives, 03:08 that they will know that You are going 03:09 through this time with them. 03:11 Provide them, Father, with the food, the housing, 03:14 everything that they need that they can do the work 03:16 that You have brought to them to do. 03:18 Guide us and help us, Father, 03:19 to remember them in our prayers. 03:21 I ask these things in Jesus' name 03:23 and I thank You, Father, 03:24 for hearing and answering our prayers. 03:26 Amen. 03:29 Gracious Heavenly Father, 03:31 I thank You for Your countless blessings. 03:34 Thank You for the men and women who are devoting their lives 03:37 to helping those who are in need. 03:39 Countless people are without food, water, 03:42 spiritual guidance and churches. 03:45 Father, You know these needs in greater detail than we do. 03:48 Please bless these missionary workers 03:51 with Your protection, guidance, 03:53 and strength to meet these needs. 03:55 Many even work under the risk of losing their own lives 03:58 for the better of others. 04:00 Please shelter them from the harm 04:02 imposed by the adversary. 04:04 I pray the love of Jesus will continue to shine forth 04:07 through these special workers. 04:09 Thank You for what You will do in Jesus' name I pray. 04:13 Amen. 04:19 It may not be on the mountain's height 04:24 Or over the stormy sea 04:29 It may not be at the battle's front 04:34 My Lord will have need of me 04:39 But if by a still small voice He calls 04:44 To paths I do not know 04:49 I'll answer, dear Lord, 04:53 With my hand in Thine 04:56 I'll go 04:57 Where You want me to go 05:02 I'll go 05:03 Where You want me to go, dear Lord 05:08 O'er mountains, or plain, 05:12 Or sea 05:14 I'll say what you want me to say, 05:18 Dear Lord 05:21 I'll be what you want me 05:25 To be 05:32 Lord, create in me a new heart, a missionary's heart 05:38 full of desire to preach, teach and convert 05:43 with a mindset on helping others. 05:46 Not just in faraway places, 05:48 but those right here in my own backyard. 05:52 Thank You Lord in Jesus' name. 05:55 Amen. 05:59 Dear Father, 06:00 I would like to thank You for another day of life. 06:03 And I'm gonna lift up the missionaries 06:05 who are serving You around the world. 06:09 Father, I ask that You bless them, 06:11 bless their family members, bless each one. 06:14 They're willing to dedicate their lives 06:17 and give up all to serve you. 06:20 Father, as I consider those 06:24 who are in the communities around the world, 06:27 that you may bless them with wisdom and knowledge, 06:31 bless them with the abilities 06:33 to break through those barriers, 06:35 to share the good news of Jesus and His soon coming. 06:39 Father, thank You for this opportunity 06:42 to serve You and bless all those 06:45 who have dedicated their lives 06:47 to be missionaries for You, in Jesus' name. 06:50 Amen. 06:54 Lord, thank You for Christian missionaries, 06:57 descent of God, 06:59 when they like us have temptations to be foolish, 07:03 disobedient and deceived, to become slaves 07:07 to lusts and pleasures, to desire, pain, injury, 07:10 or distress to another, to feel envious or hateful, 07:14 help them and us 07:16 to recognize Your love and kindness. 07:19 May we and the missionaries 07:21 you send seek Jesus. 07:23 The only one who saves not by human righteous acts, 07:27 but only because of His mercy. 07:29 Please pour out in abundance Your Holy Spirit 07:33 to wash and renew Your servants, 07:35 so that each of us can have confidence 07:38 that we will inherit eternal life 07:40 in Jesus' name I pray. 07:42 Amen. 07:47 Perhaps today there are loving words 07:51 Which Jesus would have me speak 07:56 There may be now in the paths of sin 08:01 Some wanderer whom I should seek 08:06 O Savior, if You will be my guide 08:11 Though dark and rugged the way 08:15 My voice shall echo the message so sweet 08:20 I'll say what you want me 08:23 To say 08:27 What will you do 08:29 For Jesus 08:33 He's done so much 08:36 For you 08:39 He gave His life 08:42 Ransom for sin 08:48 What will you do 08:52 For Him 08:59 That's a powerful question. 09:02 What will you do for Jesus today? 09:05 Mark 10:45 says, 09:07 "For even the Son of man did not come to be served, 09:11 but to serve and to give His life 09:14 as a ransom for many." 09:16 And 1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should 09:19 use whatever gift you have received 09:22 to serve others 09:24 as faithful stewards of God's grace 09:26 in its various forms." 09:30 Let's continue to pray for missionaries. 09:36 Lord, we know that there are missionaries 09:37 who are serving in areas of great persecution, 09:44 and they knowingly accept the risk 09:48 when they take on the position as missionary. 09:52 Lord, I pray that You will give them the strength 09:56 to be steadfastly committed 10:00 to this great commission, oh, Lord. 10:05 God, we pray for their safety. 10:09 God, I pray that Your hand, 10:11 Your mighty hand will rest upon them. 10:18 Lord, we pray that You would grant missionaries 10:20 wisdom and discernment. 10:23 There are medical missionaries 10:25 who are working in third world countries 10:27 who are constantly facing challenges 10:30 with resources, limited resources. 10:38 Father, there are those who wait in line all day 10:41 waiting to receive the services of the missionaries. 10:46 And still many of them can't be seen. 10:49 God, I pray that You will grant missionaries 10:53 wisdom and discernment 10:57 to discern the needs of these 11:00 people that are in such great need. 11:05 Lord, I pray that You would give our 11:07 missionaries strength and perseverance. 11:10 Father, that You would grant them 11:12 encouragement. 11:18 Lord, I pray that You would grant 11:20 provision to these missionaries. 11:26 Father, we know that You've given each of us 11:30 many opportunities to serve, 11:35 be it our next door neighbor, 11:39 or by serving the missionaries themselves 11:41 and funding them. 11:44 Lord, I pray that You will help us to be faithful 11:47 to this commission that You have given us. 11:54 And, Lord, I pray that You will grant peace 11:57 to those 12:00 who You've called to serve in the field. 12:07 They have struggles and they give every day. 12:15 And I just ask that You would give them peace. 12:24 Lord, I thank You. 12:26 Thank You for the gospel, 12:28 the way that it has changed my life. 12:34 Lord, 12:35 use these missionaries to change the lives of others. 12:46 I want you to take a moment to pause and pray. 13:13 This is a sweet little song 13:15 that is my prayer. 13:18 It says... 13:20 Lord, please move me with compassion 13:24 For the lost I pray 13:28 For the millions who are lost 13:32 And cannot find their way 13:37 Melt my callous heart with love 13:41 No matter what the cost 13:44 Lord, please move me with compassion 13:48 For the lost. 13:52 Please send us your prayer request 13:54 or become a part of our Prayer Warrior Team. 13:57 For more information, 13:58 please visit
