00:30 You may have enjoyed the day when life was a bit simpler
00:34 and slower paced than it is today. 00:36 You went to work, came home, enjoyed dinner 00:39 and sharing around the table. 00:41 Talk to your neighbor 00:42 and enjoyed the fruit of your labor. 00:44 You simply enjoyed life in less stressful times. 00:48 Well, today mental acuity or keenness 00:51 is toward the top of the list of things 00:53 we need to get by in an advanced world. 00:56 We're called upon to have all the answers 00:58 to maintain peak performance, 01:00 to carry the weight of our designated job title, 01:03 to be everything to everyone. 01:06 It isn't uncommon for people to be so overwhelmed 01:08 that they attempt drastic things 01:11 just to escape the responsibility 01:13 and the pressures of life. 01:15 Romans 12: 2 reminds us, 01:17 "And be not conformed to this world, 01:20 but be transformed by the renewing of your mind 01:23 that you may prove what is that good 01:25 and acceptable and perfect will of God. 01:30 As Christians, it's vital to remember 01:32 that we are called to be light in this world 01:35 to exemplify Christ 01:36 so that others will be drawn to Him. 01:39 Let's pray for one another, 01:40 that God would help keep our minds sharp, 01:43 helping us to retain important things, 01:45 and that we would keep our wits about us. 01:54 Father, God, I pray as we go through this day, 01:58 as we go through our lives, 01:59 that You'll give us the knowledge, 02:01 the wisdom, and the clarity of thought that we may perform 02:05 what we need in order to do our jobs 02:08 and to get by in this world and to be a joy and a blessing, 02:12 to all those that we need. 02:14 Amen. 02:18 Our loving heavenly Father, 02:20 we come before You in Jesus' name, 02:23 we ask for the blessing of mental sharpness, Lord, 02:27 to understand the Holy Scriptures 02:29 that are able to make us wise unto salvation. 02:32 Lord, we need mental sharpness 02:34 to face the trials of every day. 02:36 We need the mental sharpness 02:38 to discern the attacks of the enemy. 02:41 Heavenly Father, help us to know 02:43 how we can cooperate with You to receive this blessing. 02:47 Lord, bless us with the mental sharpness 02:51 we need for this time. 02:53 In Jesus' name, amen. 02:57 Father, we pray for mental sharpness, 03:00 help us to get sufficient sleep, 03:03 to eat a healthy diet 03:04 and to cast our cares on You 03:06 so that we will not suffer stress, 03:09 increase our humility and understanding 03:13 that we may not lean on our thoughts, 03:16 but on Your truths. 03:17 Increase our ability to focus, 03:21 particularly on Your Word. 03:24 Increase our concentration, 03:27 particularly on doing Your will. 03:31 Sharpen our memories oh, Lord, 03:35 help us to hide Your Word in our hearts 03:38 and to act accordingly. 03:41 We ask these things in the name of Jesus 03:44 and thank You for the answer to the prayer of faith. 03:48 Amen. 03:52 Father, I pray for sharpness of mind 03:56 and I'm reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:6-7 04:00 which states, 04:02 "Be anxious for nothing, 04:04 but in everything by prayer and supplication. 04:07 With thanksgiving, 04:08 let our requests be made known to God 04:11 and the peace of God, 04:12 which surpasses all understanding 04:15 will guide your hearts and minds 04:17 through Christ Jesus. 04:20 Father, I pray that 04:21 You will give us sharpness of mind 04:24 that You'll give us clarity 04:26 and that we may focus on You. 04:29 So we may not be anxious or be grateful in thanksgiving 04:33 of all that You have done for us. 04:35 In Jesus' name, amen. 04:41 Take my life 04:44 And let it be 04:47 Consecrated Lord to Thee 04:53 Take my moments 04:56 And my days 04:59 Let them flow 05:01 In ceaseless praise 05:09 Take my hands 05:12 And let them move 05:15 At the impulse of Thy love 05:21 Take my feet 05:23 And let them be Swift 05:28 And beautiful for Thee 05:38 Father, I thank You for making us in Your image, 05:43 giving us minds 05:45 in which we can think and reason. 05:47 I pray that You would give me a clear mind 05:50 without distractions 05:52 so that I may concentrate on You. 05:55 And the work that You have assigned me to do this day. 06:00 Keep me focused and alert 06:03 so that I may accomplish 06:05 all You have purpose for me to do. 06:08 May I have the mind of Christ 06:11 so that it brings You glory and honor, 06:15 and that it may further Your kingdom here on earth. 06:18 In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen. 06:25 Father in heaven, 06:26 we extend a praise to You on this day. 06:29 We thank You for life, health and mental clarity. 06:33 Lord, we pray for mental clarity 06:35 and sharpness of mind. 06:38 Help us to indeed have the mind of Christ. 06:42 Make our mind sharp for Your service 06:44 in Your kingdom. 06:46 Lord, there may be someone suffering from mental illness 06:49 or negative mental physiological effects 06:51 of some sort. 06:53 Lord, we pray for those 06:55 and ask for Your healing hand to touch them 06:57 and heal them in Jesus' name. 07:00 May Your spirit continue to lead and guide Your people. 07:03 Oh, Lord, and may we submit our minds to You today. 07:09 We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. 07:17 Take my voice 07:20 And let me sing 07:24 Always only 07:27 For my King 07:30 Take my lips 07:32 And let them be filled 07:37 With messages 07:41 From Thee 07:45 Take my will 07:47 And make it Thine 07:51 It shall be no 07:54 Longer mine 07:58 Take my heart, 08:00 It is Your own 08:04 And it shall be Your 08:08 Royal throne 08:15 Lord, I want everything I have to be Yours. 08:20 In fact, everything I have is Yours. 08:24 So I ask that You would anoint every part 08:28 of my body that I may serve You 08:32 wholeheartedly and, Father, 08:36 as You have allowed our brains to be the machine 08:42 that runs all of it. 08:46 Oh God, I just ask that You would touch my mind, 08:50 touch my brain. 08:53 Lord, I want clear thoughts. 08:56 I want pure thoughts. 09:00 So, Father, I'm praying for those who may be watching, 09:04 who are encountering forgetfulness, 09:10 dementia, Alzheimer's, 09:15 diseases of the brain, diseases of the mind. 09:18 Father God, I ask in Jesus' name 09:21 that You would grant healing. 09:25 Father God, may Your healing flow. 09:38 Lord, I submit my fear filled anxious, 09:41 confused mind to You God, 09:45 heal it, Lord. 09:49 Satan, you no longer have the right to occupy my mind. 09:56 I have the mind of Christ. 10:00 My mind is the Lord's territory. 10:05 I will walk in freedom of thought 10:08 and clarity of thought. 10:13 And whenever those old patterns of thought 10:16 tried to reassert themselves in my mind, 10:20 I will meditate on the Word of God. 10:26 His perfect love casts out fear. 10:32 God, Your Word, they comfort me. 10:35 In Zephaniah 3:17, 10:37 "The Lord my God in my midst, the Mighty One, will save, 10:42 He rejoices over me with gladness, 10:45 He quiets me with His love, 10:47 He rejoices over me with singing." 10:52 When my mind is clouded, 10:53 oh, God, I ask that 10:55 You will just allow me to hear You singing 11:00 and may it clear my mind of the enemy's doubts, 11:04 and the enemy's confusion. 11:09 Thank You, God, for being for me. 11:15 Thank You, Lord, that You will never leave me 11:17 nor forsake me. 11:19 You walk with me through every storm, 11:21 through every step of life's journey. 11:26 I have ears to hear Your voice. 11:31 I choose to follow You, God. 11:36 Lord, I pray that You will touch those 11:38 who are watching that 11:40 have the tendency to act compulsively. 11:48 Father God, I pray that 11:53 You'll help us not to run back to old sins and old habits. 12:00 May our impulse be to follow You 12:07 with everything that is in us, God. 12:14 Let's take time to pause, to pray for one another. 12:49 I encourage you to speak to yourself, 12:51 to encourage yourself that you are free. 12:56 You are not bound by the Satan's, 13:02 the enemy's attempt to bind you. 13:06 You have been set free as a child of God. 13:09 I love it. 13:10 And whom the Son sets free is free indeed 13:15 Say this to yourself. 13:16 I'm a child of God 13:20 Yes, I am 13:23 In my Father's house 13:26 there's a place for me 13:29 I'm a child of God 13:32 Yes, I am 13:35 I am chosen not forsaken 13:39 I am who You say I am 13:44 You are for me 13:46 Not against me 13:48 I am who You say I am 13:51 You're a child of God. 13:54 Think like a child of God and be blessed. 14:00 Please send us your prayer request 14:02 or become a part of our Prayer Warrior Team. 14:04 For more information, please visit 3abn.tv/prayer 14:08 or call for prayer at 618-627-4651 extension 1. 14:14 And thank you for being a part of the worldwide 3ABN family. |
