00:41 Welcome to the 3ABN Spring Camp Meeting:
00:44 The Three Angels' Messages
00:51 Hello and welcome to our first night of 3ABN
00:55 Spring Camp Meeting! Are you happy to be here?
00:58 Amen! Yes!
01:02 We anticipate a wonderful time in the Lord.
01:06 We are looking forward for what the Lord is going to do
01:09 for us, to us, with us, and through us
01:12 for the next several days.
01:14 And Danny... take it away. Oh! OK.
01:17 He did pretty good, didn't he?
01:19 You should be here 'cause we've got some things going on
01:22 behind the scenes that you probably don't know.
01:24 One was he didn't know he was going to do the intro.
01:26 But I think he did quite well, don't you? That's right.
01:29 And we are glad that you're here tonight,
01:31 and this Camp meeting is going to be on present truth.
01:34 And so that's been the theme of 3ABN this year for 2018:
01:39 present truth. And God has blessed with some incredible
01:43 subjects for the speakers. BUT for the music
01:47 we said: "What can we do to do a new project
01:51 on the three angels' messages? "
01:52 We've really never seen anything done.
01:54 And so part of our testimony is going to be...
01:57 The concert is Friday night at 6 o'clock.
01:59 Six o'clock I said to everybody; not seven now.
02:02 Some people probably think it's seven, you know. Yeah.
02:05 But six. I thought the program tonight was at seven.
02:09 That's our private joke for those of you at home.
02:11 Barely made it here in time.
02:13 But 6 o'clock Friday night have a concert with some
02:16 brand new songs written on the three angels' messages.
02:19 Lanny Wolfe will be here. David Huntsinger;
02:21 Kris Wilkinson... did the Pillars project.
02:24 Others will be here. David Clydesdale, one of the
02:27 arrangers, is here. And so we're going to have some tremendous
02:30 guests and brothers and sisters in the Lord.
02:34 And tonight we have Aaron Wilburn's going to be here
02:35 in a few moments. Yeah... amen. But
02:37 Jill, I think there's something that you wanted to do
02:40 or say right now. This might be a good time
02:42 to do it, don't you think so?
02:44 You've got something in your hand. I have something
02:46 in my hand here. How many of you know and love
02:48 Ms. Mollie Steenson?
02:54 Mollie has served 3ABN for many many many years
02:59 and has been an incredible blessing
03:02 in my own heart and life.
03:05 And Mollie and Pastor Hal are getting ready to move
03:09 to Alabama. That does not mean
03:12 that they won't be back for Camp Meeting,
03:14 they won't be back for taping here and there,
03:16 and we're excited about that and we're thankful for that.
03:20 But 3ABN, our team here, we wanted to recognize
03:24 you, Mollie, in a special way for your years of service.
03:26 We have this plaque here. It says: you want to hold that?
03:31 With our deepest appreciation Three Angels Broadcasting
03:34 Network hereby honors Mollie Steenson
03:37 for over two decades of faithful service
03:40 and loyal commitment to spreading the undiluted
03:44 three angels' messages of Revelation 14
03:46 to the world from 1995 to 2018.
03:52 Through your Christian service you have personified
03:55 Colossians 3:12-13:
03:57 "Therefore the elect of God, holy and beloved,
04:01 put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness,
04:03 longsuffering, bearing with one another and forgiving
04:07 one another. " And Mollie, I just know
04:09 from my own heart you're a woman of God.
04:13 You're a Proverbs 31 woman.
04:16 She's a woman of grace and dignity.
04:19 And today your children - which is us here at 3ABN,
04:23 us at Camp Meetings, those of you at home -
04:25 we rise up and we call you blessed.
04:29 Thank you; thank you.
04:36 I am so honored and I just want to say this:
04:39 this Camp Meeting... There's a couple sitting on the front row
04:43 and they were in my office earlier today.
04:46 And I told them: "You just watch. This is going to be
04:48 the greatest Camp Meeting you've ever been to. "
04:50 And they said something to the effect of:
04:52 "You always say that! "
04:53 And I told them: "You just wait till Saturday night! "
04:57 When we start to leave here I'm going to look at them
05:00 and say: "You know what? I told you so! "
05:02 This is going to be the greatest Camp Meeting.
05:04 And I want to just continue with this: when I came to 3ABN
05:08 I didn't know what the three angels' messages was.
05:11 I was a little Charismatic girl
05:14 that Danny loved enough to invite me to come be
05:18 a part of this great ministry.
05:19 And I want you to know it's these messages
05:22 that we're going to hear about during this Camp Meeting
05:25 that have changed my life.
05:27 If there's anything worthy that you see within me,
05:30 it's because what God has done through His Word.
05:33 And I just appreciate... Danny, thank you so much
05:36 for allowing me to be a part of this ministry at a time...
05:41 This is the Mending Broken People ministry,
05:43 and I'm one of those people that was broken that God has
05:46 mended. And I just am so grateful
05:49 not only for this ministry but for God's Word
05:53 that is powerful. And it's that Word that is going to change
05:56 every one of us this weekend.
05:58 Amen! Thank you, Mollie Sue.
06:06 I've known Mollie and Hal since the late 70's.
06:08 They came from Alabama and started a Charismatic church.
06:11 Years and years later we were so blessed to have she and Hal
06:15 to join the 3ABN family.
06:18 And she was general manager for many many years.
06:20 Jill now has taken that role.
06:23 And you had a good mentor, so Jill is stepping right in
06:27 and doing a wonderful job.
06:28 And Mollie, I love you with all my heart. You know that.
06:31 And Bro. Hal. And so this is not good-bye, of course.
06:34 But we're just doing this 'cause it's formally retirement
06:36 but Mollie's going to be around. You're going to see her
06:37 on Sabbath School programs.
06:39 You're going to see her at Camp Meetings.
06:40 You're going to see her all kinds of things, so...
06:42 doing programming. She's just not going to be
06:44 in the day-to-day as she has been for so many years
06:48 for a number of reason... and they're good reasons.
06:50 But we love you and thank you so much.
06:52 And Pastor John, I wonder if you would say a special prayer.
06:54 Let's just kind of lay hands on Mollie: all of us here
06:57 and you say a special prayer for Mollie and Hal, OK?
07:01 Loving Father in heaven,
07:04 You saw Mollie's journey before she even took the first step.
07:11 You looked down, as Danny has said, through the portals
07:14 of time and Your eyes have been roaming to and fro
07:18 throughout the earth to find someone
07:23 whose heart is loyal to You.
07:25 And You found Mollie and You anointed her, Lord,
07:29 with Your Holy Spirit and You nurtured her
07:33 in this path of righteousness and truth and integrity
07:37 and dedication. And Lord, we stand here today
07:42 with our hands on a spiritual "Stradivarius. "
07:45 Hmm. Somebody who has been cured by time
07:51 whose spirituality could not be developed overnight
07:56 but through trial and tribulation,
07:58 through hard decisions and moments when it seemed easier
08:03 to run than to stand still.
08:06 Mollie chose to stand still and see the salvation of
08:09 the Lord - um-hmm - and we honor her today
08:12 for her steadfastness. When the storms of challenge came
08:17 Mollie looked to You and said: "Father, bring us through. "
08:22 And there were those who walked through the doors of 3ABN
08:25 day by day and they said: "Is Mollie here? "
08:27 When the answer was "Yes" their hearts were calmed.
08:30 But Father, now we come to the intersection of time
08:35 and I pray that the works that Mollie has done will follow her,
08:39 will speak to the hearts of generations to come,
08:42 and may those who come behind her find her faithful.
08:45 Amen! Bless Pastor Hal and as they both sojourn now
08:50 to be with family and to be in Alabama
08:52 to just "stop and smell the roses"
08:54 we look forward to the day when we can hear the words:
08:56 "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. " Yes.
08:59 And when the roll is called up yonder
09:01 somewhere there's going to be some Alabamians
09:03 singing Hallelujah!
09:05 We know we're going to hear Mollie and Hal as they rise
09:07 to meet the Lord in the air.
09:09 So we don't say good-bye...
09:11 we just say: "So long for now. "
09:12 And may we sojourn, may we continue to be faithful,
09:15 and may every fabric You have spun to strengthen her resolve
09:21 continue to grow until the day she hears the words
09:26 "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. "
09:28 And we praise You and we thank you in Jesus' name,
09:31 Amen. Amen. Thank you, Mollie Sue.
09:34 Thank you so much. God bless!
09:36 Once again, thank you for joining us at Spring 2018
09:40 Camp Meeting: Present Truth.
09:42 This is going to be by God's grace.
09:45 Each and every one of us should not go home the way we came.
09:48 How many's open to the Holy Spirit to do great
09:51 and mighty, marvelous things in your life, right?
09:53 Every one of us should be
09:54 because we all want to make heaven our home.
09:57 So what we're going to do now: we're going to go into a little
09:58 bit of music, and we have Bro. Tim Parton over here.
10:02 Tim, I think you're going to be first. How many appreciate
10:04 Tim? You can let him know so.
10:08 Tim is one of the - and I say this from my heart -
10:15 one of the greatest musicians I've ever... and I've worked
10:17 with a lot of well-known names over the years...
10:20 and still - even on this new project - one of the greatest
10:24 musicians that I have ever met in my life.
10:27 But not only that, one of the greatest friends...
10:29 an incredible musician, singer. God has gifted him.
10:34 There's an anointing of the Holy Spirit
10:36 that goes along with him when he sits down to minister.
10:40 So Tim, thank you so much. I love you.
10:42 And he's general manager of our new Praise Him! channel.
13:58 Amen! Thank you Bro. Tim. God bless!
14:03 I'd like to introduce for those who don't know...
14:05 probably most of you know Aaron Wilburn.
14:07 Any of you know Aaron Wilburn?
14:08 Make him welcome to 3ABN Camp Meeting.
14:12 And I could tell you about songs like It's Beginning to Rain
14:17 that he co-wrote with the Gaithers and
14:19 It Sounds Like Home To Me that's on this brand-new project.
14:22 Aaron is... We've known each other since the late 70's
14:26 or maybe 1980... something like that.
14:28 He's been song writer of the year many times.
14:31 He's written hundreds of songs.
14:32 Those you would know the names of them.
14:35 Probably... I don't know how many songs have been on the
14:38 "charts" as they call it, but an incredible, incredible
14:42 song writer. But more importantly, an incredible
14:44 friend and a man who loves Jesus.
14:46 And our relationship has been a great relationship
14:51 over the years. But he stopped by tonight.
14:54 We asked him "Can you stop? " He's actually traveling.
14:57 Since he wrote one of the songs "It Sounds Like Home To Me"
15:00 from this project, but I wanted he and Tim
15:03 to maybe do something. Would you like to hear him sing
15:05 and minister to us a little bit? Amen!
15:07 And so I got a call... Yvonne and I... I don't know, it's been
15:10 a year or two ago from Aaron and he says:
15:14 "I was just watching Doug Batchelor on 3ABN
15:18 and in 30 minutes he changed my whole perception
15:22 of what happens to you when you die. " He said:
15:24 "I never knew that. "
15:25 And so that's been a little bit of change for you.
15:28 It ruined my theology.
15:33 But it helped you write some new songs!
15:35 Absolutely! They actually are writing a brand new song.
15:38 What's it called? Rest Well. Rest Well.
15:41 Now what's that tell you?
15:42 Nobody's up dancing, shouting. You know, you're just resting
15:46 in the grave, but it's amazing.
15:48 And we're going to... After you do the song you're going to do -
15:52 It's a new song you guys have written, right? Um-hmm.
15:54 Could you just do maybe a verse and chorus of...
15:56 The reason I'm asking him to do a verse and chorus
15:59 I'm not sure you've got the second verse written yet,
16:00 do you? We don't. We just have to hum it right now.
16:03 Maybe you just want to do... Maybe you just want to do that.
16:07 So tell us what you're going to do here tonight.
16:09 This song is... You know, we all have tough times
16:14 and usually we're not very honest... at least not totally
16:18 honest with some of the things we go through.
16:21 And when you're not honest it leaves everybody else
16:25 thinking something's wrong with them because they're
16:27 going through some tough times. Um-hmm.
16:30 And this song was written October the 7th last year.
16:34 And I'll be honest: that night I suffered
16:37 probably the worst betrayal of my life.
16:42 And I wrote this song that night
16:46 as I cried out to God.
16:51 And there's no other way for me to say it except
16:54 I was just totally dependent upon His strength
16:59 and on His hand.
17:02 And I wrote these lyrics and then Tim Parton
17:05 has written one of the most phenomenal melodies
17:10 that I've ever had someone write to one of my lyrics.
17:15 And I pray that this song will be a strength
17:19 and a help and a hope to people who are
17:24 in desperate times going through a desperate situation
17:28 and your strength is gone. Amen!
17:31 Right after this I want to talk to you about a new project
17:34 we've been... It's your idea but I think it's fabulous.
17:37 And I think our folks at home and our viewers
17:39 will be happy to hear about - OK - this new project
17:41 you want to do... OK... thank you!
17:54 Frightened and lonely
17:58 I lie in the dark.
18:02 The silence so loud
18:06 with each beat of my heart.
18:10 Looking for hope
18:13 but there's no hope in view.
18:17 I feel like a child
18:21 crying to You:
18:26 Please carry me... I'm too weak
18:32 to stand.
18:35 I've carried this burden
18:39 as long as I can.
18:45 My strength is gone.
18:49 Father, I'm weak.
18:53 I can't go on.
18:59 Please... carry me.
19:17 The pain of the journey,
19:21 the unknown ahead,
19:25 but then there's the memory
19:29 of what You have said:
19:32 that You will be with me
19:36 when others are gone
19:40 and I won't have to travel
19:43 this road all alone!
19:49 Please carry me.
19:52 I'm too weak to stand.
19:56 I've carried this burden
20:00 as long as I can.
20:04 Lord, my strength is gone.
20:09 Father, I'm weak.
20:12 I can't go on...
20:18 Please... carry me.
20:27 Carry me!
20:34 Carry me!
20:40 Carry me!
20:47 Please carry me... I'm too weak to stand.
20:53 I've carried this burden
20:57 as long as I can.
21:02 Lord, my strength is gone.
21:07 Father, I'm weak.
21:11 I can't go on.
21:17 I can't go on.
21:20 I can't go on...
21:25 please... carry me.
21:40 Amen... beautiful!
21:43 Beautiful! Aaron, let's talk for just a moment
21:46 about... talk about a new project.
21:49 First of all, those of you... If you ever turn to YouTube,
21:52 Aaron has some... I'll say songs... and he has some of
21:56 his... He does... have you ever heard of like "gospel comedy? "
21:59 What it is is just good clean fun, right?
22:01 And in fact, I heard you were just... I didn't know there was
22:04 a category like this... but you're gospel comedian
22:06 of the year. I thought I was but they said you were.
22:09 You weren't there this time.
22:10 Not on purpose on my part... just out of ignorance.
22:14 But you really try to be that and you did... What was that?
22:17 Tell us what happened. Voice Magazine, a gospel magazine,
22:22 in their awards this year I was comedian of the year
22:27 because you weren't there.
22:28 Yeah. Yeah... he called me and we were talking
22:32 and Yvonne said: "Aaron was comedian of the year. "
22:34 I said: "Well who said? "
22:36 She said: "Well I don't know. "
22:37 I said: "Well how did they know? I wasn't there. "
22:39 You know, so... No, I'm just kidding.
22:42 If I'm that way, it's just out of ignorance.
22:44 He plans it. But Aaron, if you turn on,
22:47 go into YouTube he's got songs like... I guess we can talk
22:50 about this tonight. If my nose was running money,
22:53 I'd blow it all on you.
22:55 Now, it's got like 11 million hits on YouTube.
22:58 This guy is serious. When you go and you've gotta look up
23:01 some of the stuff that he does.
23:03 But what he does is so amazing
23:06 that I said: "How can this work into 3ABN? "
23:08 Aaron, tell them about the idea of ministering to those
23:13 that really maybe don't have good prognosis for the future.
23:17 You know, a lot of us wake up to wonderful days
23:23 and a lot of people don't wake up to wonderful days.
23:26 And I was sharing with Danny some of the songs that I just
23:30 recorded on my last project and the fact that
23:35 I had been sending some of them out to hospitals
23:40 and to different groups where people are terminally ill
23:44 and in depression and a lot of situations like that.
23:49 And Danny said: "Wow! I've never thought
23:52 of that kind of ministry to our audience. "
23:57 And we began talking about it and so one thing led to another
24:03 and now we are in the talking stages of planning a project
24:08 that will be sent out through 3ABN
24:14 for everyone to have a copy - a free copy -
24:19 of a CD that will make them laugh,
24:22 will brighten their day. If they're in depression,
24:25 if they have a prognosis that is not a good one,
24:31 and just people that need to smile again
24:34 and a ministry of laughter.
24:38 And laughter is no accident. It's not something we invented.
24:41 God gave laughter!
24:44 And Danny said: "I've never thought of it as an instrument
24:49 of ministry. " And so that began the talk.
24:54 I said: "It has to be good because I recently had my
24:57 gall bladder taken out and this was a few weeks before.
24:59 He came to Marion to one of the churches
25:03 and invited us over, and I for- got I had gall bladder problems.
25:06 I was laughing so loud for about an hour
25:09 then after I left I'm like: "Oh... I'm hurting! "
25:11 So I said: "You know what? This is a great ministry!
25:14 It helps you to forget about your pain for a bit. "
25:16 But it really is. St. Jude's Hospital for instance.
25:19 Every patient, we should give every child one of these free.
25:22 And with your help we would do that
25:24 and it will also introduce them to Jesus.
25:26 While we're going to have a lot of fun, it's not telling jokes.
25:29 He's telling real life stories and things that are just funny
25:32 that happen to us every day.
25:34 But for children to encourage them.
25:36 For adults, to encourage them
25:38 but also represent Jesus
25:40 and package Jesus into this whole thing
25:43 because He's the One who allows us... allows us to laugh
25:46 and to be happy. So how many would like to see
25:48 this project go through? All right, take their names down
25:51 because we're going to ask them to send some money
25:54 and help with this. OK... we got you.
25:56 Those of you at home if you're impressed to do so
25:59 say: "We want to help this project. "
26:01 And we would like to do it. It'd be from 3ABN
26:03 to terminally ill people everywhere
26:07 would get 'em free... there's no charge.
26:09 We want you to have this and let them enjoy life
26:12 and to find some happiness in their life and find Jesus
26:16 for those that don't already have Him. Um-hmm.
26:17 OK. Rest Well... tell us about what it's about.
26:21 and then sing what you've got written. I was listening to John
26:25 and it had always troubled me that you can walk through
26:30 a cemetery and one headstone says "With Jesus"
26:34 another one says: "Singing With Angels. "
26:36 And another one says: "Asleep Till Jesus Comes. "
26:40 How can you do all that at once?
26:44 While you're dead! While you're dead.
26:47 But John in 30 minutes explained it, and I sat there
26:52 and thought: "Wow! Truth is simple. "
26:56 Amen! Um-hmm... there you go!
27:00 Anyway, there was... I had a different way of looking at it.
27:06 And because of that, not long ago when a friend of mine
27:11 passed away I thought: "I want to write a song
27:17 that conveys this mindset... this truth...
27:23 this knowledge. " And so why don't you tell quickly
27:28 the verse and then we'll sing the chorus.
27:31 Can we do that?
27:32 It broke my heart to get the news
27:35 your road of life came to an end.
27:39 I guess we all have things we'd love to say
27:43 and this is what I'll say:
27:45 "Until I see you again
27:50 rest well. "
27:54 "Your burden has been heavy;
27:57 rest well. "
28:01 "Your journey has been long
28:04 and you've been smiling lately when you spoke of going home. "
28:12 "I'm here to say my last good-bye.
28:16 Though there are tears in my eyes
28:20 until our Lord commands you 'Rise! '
28:26 rest well. "
28:29 All right! Amen!
28:32 Thank you so much. Aaron Wilburn. All right!
28:42 Aaron really is one of the funniest and one of the nicest
28:46 people - one of the smartest people -
28:48 I've ever met. Absolutely brilliant in what he does.
28:51 But he's a master at taking real-life situations
28:55 and having fun with it. Things that happen to him
28:58 when he travels and things. He has a song called
29:01 Saturday. What is it? Wal-Mart? Where'd he go?
29:04 Saturday night at Wal-Mart.
29:07 And he describes when he went in there at midnight
29:09 all the different kinds of people that come in
29:11 at Wal-Mart on Saturday night. Any of you ever heard that?
29:14 Some of you have. You go to YouTube and you'll
29:16 hear some and just type in Aaron Wilburn
29:18 and you'll be laughing for hours. So don't overdose on it.
29:21 We don't want you to laugh to death
29:23 but we want you to have fun.
29:26 Now it's a great great privilege to introduce Ryan Day.
29:30 And come up here, Ryan.
29:32 He's a little short guy. Yep!
29:34 And Ryan is an amazing story
29:38 for him to be... And this week you and your wife Stephanie
29:43 started full time with 3ABN. That's right!
29:46 And so you've been doing what the last several years?
29:48 The last five years I've been traveling doing evangelism
29:51 for Amazing Facts Ministry.
29:53 All right... praise the Lord!
29:55 Your journey... You were United Pentecostal
29:58 and your journey through becoming an Adventist
30:02 was an interesting one. It was! And so I guess
30:06 someone in your family ended up becoming one
30:08 and then your dad began to study.
30:10 And then you said you read a book.
30:12 That's right. I had a gentleman come in to our little
30:15 non-denominational Sabbath- keeping church at the time
30:18 because we were convinced of the Sabbath but
30:20 didn't know all the other truth.
30:21 Guy walks in with a big stack of books
30:23 and one of them stuck out.
30:25 It said: Ten Commandments Twice Removed.
30:27 All right! Danny Shelton and Shelley Quinn.
30:29 Um-hmm. And I read that book and it's been incredible ever since.
30:33 Wow! Absolutely! What happened is
30:35 Reggie and Ladye Love Smith, they're not able to be with us.
30:38 For the first time in a long time they're on a cruise.
30:40 Now can you imagine taking a cruise to Europe
30:42 rather than be here at Camp Meeting? That's amazing!
30:45 So if they're watching from over there 'cause they're traveling
30:48 right now, Reggie and Ladye Love,
30:50 but we had planned on... We're doing this and
30:53 of course Reggie's got such an incredible tenor voice
30:55 and Ladye Love's got a powerful voice
30:58 and we found out that their schedule... There was a conflict
31:01 they couldn't come and that really shook us.
31:03 We said: "Man, we've got new songs being written;
31:06 what are we going to do for a singer? "
31:08 Well Tim Parton said to me: "There's someone coming
31:12 to the studio. He talked to Jill.
31:14 He's never recorded an album
31:16 but he's a singer and wanted to come to look at our studio
31:20 and see about recording. "
31:21 That was Ryan Day. So after Ryan left I called Tim.
31:25 I don't know if any of you ever hear of David Phelps
31:27 with the Gaithers?
31:28 Great tenor singer, right? One of the greatest in America.
31:31 So after he left I said to Tim... I said:
31:36 "Can Ryan sing? " And he said: "Yeah he sings; he sings well. "
31:40 I said: "Oh, good! " I said: "How? Tell me a little bit
31:45 so we'll know. " He said: "You know David Phelps? "
31:48 I said: "Yeah. " He said: "Well he's in that category. "
31:51 And I said: "What?
31:53 An Adventist with Amazing Facts an evangelist, and he could
31:57 be in that range? " So I said: "You're kidding, right? "
32:00 He said: "No... I'm not kidding. "
32:01 He said: "This guy has one of the most incredible voices
32:03 I've ever heard. " And so we went down to the studio
32:06 to record some of these songs
32:08 specifically written with you in mind with David Huntsinger's
32:11 brand new "And They Sang A New Song"
32:13 and the back-up singers and many of those with the Gaithers
32:17 and others were there. As soon as he starts
32:19 they said: "Who is this? "
32:20 Melody was singing in the choir with them. She said:
32:23 "Ryan Day. " And they said: "Yeah, but WHO is this? "
32:25 "Ryan Day. " They said: "Why have we never heard of him? "
32:28 And so we said: "Well you will now. "
32:30 So it's a great privilege and honor that we get to
32:33 introduce you, and then Friday night on the concert
32:36 Ryan is going to be singing.
32:38 Doing a duet of More Than Wonderful with Yvonne.
32:41 Um-hmm. And so the whole project is amazing.
32:43 So Ryan, we're so thankful that you and your wife
32:46 Stephanie are here. And Ryan's going to be working
32:48 with Tim Parton on the music channel as well as doing
32:51 programs, preaching on 3ABN.
32:54 The Fjarli's are here. They said you were out in their area
32:56 and the people loved the evangelistic series.
32:58 So we've got a new preacher and a new singer.
33:01 Make him welcome, all right?
33:20 When peace like
33:24 a river
33:28 attendeth
33:32 my way,
33:35 when sorrows like
33:39 sea billows
33:43 roll...
33:48 whatever my lot
33:54 Thou hast taught me
34:00 to say:
34:02 "It is well...
34:06 it is well
34:11 with my soul. "
34:19 It is well
34:25 with my soul.
34:32 It is well...
34:36 it is well
34:41 with
34:43 my soul.
34:55 Oh, and Lord haste
35:00 the day
35:04 when my faith shall be sight!
35:10 The clouds be rolled back
35:16 as a scroll!
35:23 The trumpet shall sound
35:29 and the Lord shall descend...
35:35 but even so
35:39 it is well
35:43 with my soul.
35:54 It is well
36:02 with my soul.
36:06 It is well...
36:09 it is well
36:13 with my soul...
36:19 It is well...
36:22 it is well
36:29 with my
36:34 soul!
36:47 Amen.
36:49 Amen! Thank you Ryan.
36:53 Beautiful! We were in the studio and...
36:56 and he was singing a song that for those of you that know
36:59 a little bit about tenor singers and it was an E flat.
37:02 He went from a low... high E flat
37:06 and I said: "Wow! That is amazing
37:07 that kind of range. " So I heard Tim
37:09 had him in the piano booth back there, and I kept
37:12 hearing him go higher and higher and higher
37:14 and I said: "Well, he doesn't need to go higher than that. "
37:16 I said: "Tim, what did you have him doing? "
37:18 He said: "I had him at D flat above middle C. "
37:20 I said: "Why? " He said: "I just wanted to see how high
37:23 he could go! " He said: "He doesn't seem to have a range...
37:26 no end to his range. "
37:28 So we still don't know what it is,
37:29 but for a male to be able to do it with such a beautiful voice
37:33 but mainly you notice he has an anointing
37:35 and that's what's so amazing.
37:37 So we're so thankful that Ryan accepted...
37:40 he's already a Christian but accepted the truth
37:43 and is now here at 3ABN.
37:46 And we're so thankful for he and his wife Stephanie also.
37:49 Now it's my privilege to bring out Pastor John Lomacang.
37:52 And Pastor John has written a brand-new book for 3ABN:
37:58 The Three Angels' Messages In Summary.
38:01 And just take a minute and tell us a little bit about it -
38:03 sure - and the need for it. And it's going to go along with
38:06 the brand-new CD of Give Him Glory!
38:09 Thank you Danny.
38:10 You know, friends, oftentimes we hear about
38:12 the three angels' messages
38:15 but more times than not as we travel we hear people
38:20 say: "Whatever happened to our message? "
38:23 "Whatever happened to the mes- sage that God has given to us?
38:25 It's such a unique message. It doesn't need to be
38:28 deleted or modified or changed. "
38:30 And so what I've done... And Danny asked me a few months
38:33 ago and I thought... That was actually before we
38:36 even knew that we were going to have a three angels' messages
38:39 Camp Meeting.
38:40 And there were so many challenges in writing this book.
38:45 As a matter of fact, the day that I announced to my wife
38:48 that I'm almost done is when I broke my finger.
38:52 The devil tried everything he could to stop this book
38:55 from being finished. And then we went to New Guinea.
38:57 And I see that going to New Guinea was an actual blessing
39:01 because the Lord took us and isolated us away from
39:03 everything that would distract us.
39:06 And I used my headset and I spoke in the last few words
39:09 as it audibly typed... it typed as I spoke them in.
39:14 But it's designed to reach the person who
39:17 may want to re-familiarize themself with the message
39:20 OR the person who never heard it before.
39:24 But I want to tell you it's 45, 46 pages
39:27 but don't let the size fool you. It's like one of those
39:30 pills you get when you go to the doctor that's really really tiny
39:35 and he says: "Don't make a mistake and take two. "
39:38 Well, this book is not for the faint of heart.
39:41 But we're not living in an hour where we can modify
39:45 or dilute God's Word. Can you say amen to that?
39:47 Amen! So if you want to really share with friends
39:50 and people that have not heard the message,
39:54 it's even designed to reach your contemporary audience.
39:57 I intentionally didn't put angels on the cover
40:00 because people that are not Christians won't even understand
40:03 what that means. And so, if you travel
40:07 carry a bunch with you. They are available here tonight.
40:09 You can buy them in bulk also.
40:10 But we want the message - this closing message -
40:14 to be shared to the world. People need to know it.
40:17 And if it is the period at the end of the 6,000 year sentence
40:20 what a time and what a message. Amen somebody?
40:24 Amen! So tonight along with that Danny has
40:27 agreed if you get a CD you get one of those for free.
40:29 But then they are available also out in the foyer.
40:32 And all I want is for the Lord to be praised
40:34 through that, for people to be in the kingdom
40:36 because of this message that belongs to the Lord...
40:38 I'm just the messenger.
40:41 But tonight I'm going to sing a song entitled
40:43 "There Is A River. "
40:45 You know, there's a river that continues to cleanse us
40:47 from all the defilement of sin.
40:49 And tonight no matter where you may be in your walk with Christ
40:52 if you need to be re-acquainted with Jesus
40:55 to know that that river is still flowing today
40:58 tonight there is a river.
41:14 There
41:17 is a river
41:23 and it flows from deep
41:29 within.
41:34 There is
41:39 the fountain
41:43 and it frees a soul
41:49 from sin.
41:54 Come to
41:59 this water...
42:03 there is a vast
42:09 supply!
42:14 There is
42:19 a river
42:24 that never shall
42:29 run dry.
42:34 There was
42:37 a thirsty woman...
42:44 she was drawing from
42:49 the well.
42:53 You see, her life
42:57 was bruised and broken
43:03 and her soul was bound
43:09 for hell.
43:13 Oh, but then
43:17 she met the Master
43:23 and He told her of
43:29 her sin.
43:32 He said: "If you drink
43:37 from this water,
43:44 you'll never thirst
43:49 again! "
43:52 Oh, there...
43:57 there is a river
44:04 and it flows
44:07 from deep within.
44:14 Yes, there is
44:19 a fountain
44:23 and it frees a soul
44:29 from sin.
44:34 So come
44:37 to this water...
44:43 there is a vast
44:49 supply!
44:54 Yes, there is
44:59 a river
45:03 and it never
45:08 shall
45:10 run dry.
45:18 Hallelujah! Thank you Pastor.
45:24 Thank you Pastor John.
45:25 I'd like to bring out - shouldn't say introduce -
45:28 I'm sure you know John and Rosemary Malkiewycz
45:31 all the way from Down Under. Yes! That's right!
45:33 And they're so happy about it, too.
45:35 Can you imagine? They could be living in a place
45:37 like southern Illinois and they like Australia.
45:39 I mean, that's just amazing to me.
45:41 I've gotta do this for Jason and any Australians:
45:45 Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
45:46 Thank you. OK. We're so glad that you're here.
45:50 3ABN Australia has been what? Fifteen years?
45:54 Fifteen years. Isn't that amazing?
45:56 So we don't have a lot of time so I'm going to back away
45:58 and let you bring us an update.
46:00 We've got so much to cover and then we want Rosemary
46:02 to sing for us if there's time.
46:04 OK. You know, it's 15 years as we just mentioned
46:08 since 3ABN Australia, but it all began when we were
46:11 missionaries overseas.
46:12 We had a desire after we saw 3ABN
46:15 for the very first time in Thailand
46:18 that we thought this would be good in Australia.
46:20 So we came back to Australia
46:22 and one intention only: to have 3ABN - the three angels'
46:27 messages - go across Australia.
46:29 And we have watched over the 15 years how God has
46:32 led and directed 3ABN Australia starting with nothing,
46:37 just with a little green "Kermit" four-wheel drive
46:40 with dishes on top. We've done 3 trips around
46:44 Australia putting in satellite dishes.
46:46 And Danny, I cannot remember how many thousand
46:48 dishes I've put in personally.
46:50 And even last week I was putting in dishes
46:53 for people in service for the Lord.
46:55 I think it's a terrific way to witness.
46:58 And I encourage any of you who want to do that
47:00 to get in there and do it 'cause people need to know about
47:03 Jesus' return. I must say life was a lot less complicated
47:06 then. Yes! When just putting in satellite dishes.
47:11 Now... now we have our production center.
47:14 We have had that building... we opened it
47:17 in... officially in 2013.
47:20 We moved into it in 2012
47:22 and now we make programs for 3ABN's international channel.
47:27 Um-hmm. And it's really great
47:30 to see the programs go out and have people contact us
47:33 and say how much they love it.
47:35 BUT we have something even more exciting.
47:38 Danny, in October from the 11th to the 14th
47:44 we are going to have you and Yvonne,
47:47 Greg and Jill,
47:49 John and Angie and Tim Parton
47:52 in Avondale Memorial Church
47:55 in Cooranbong, New South Wales,
47:57 from Thursday night to Sunday lunch
48:01 for a marathon spiritual feast.
48:05 What date is it? 11th of October to the 14th.
48:09 OK. Wonderful. I'm happy to... let's go!
48:11 Let's do it! And the following weekend
48:14 the 19th and 20th of October where are we going to be?
48:17 In Tasmania! Tasmanians know when you pronounce
48:21 a town the right way. It's spelt Launceston
48:25 but it's actually said Longceston.
48:27 I've been coaching him.
48:30 So we'll be going there for a rally.
48:33 You know, the whole intent when 3ABN travels
48:36 is to be a blessing to people. To help them to know the truth
48:41 and to know particularly truth for these times.
48:43 You know, Danny, I was thinking about the 3 angels' messages.
48:47 John wrote a book, a summary.
48:50 We just heard the other day something I'd like to share
48:52 with you: a summary of a summary.
48:54 And the first angel's message is: God's truth;
48:58 the second angel's message is: Satan's lies;
49:02 and the third one is: you choose.
49:05 And that's really... I like... That's great.
49:08 That explains it very well.
49:11 It... yes... Just recently
49:14 just over 12 months, no, not quite 12 months ago,
49:16 we went onto a platform - a government platform -
49:19 where you can see all the commercial channels
49:22 across Australia. Now it's a dream for Christian
49:25 organizations to be able to be on there.
49:29 And I want to tell you it was a miracle of God
49:31 because we are on there right now
49:34 across the whole of Australia. The only Christian channel
49:38 and it's being received in an incredible way.
49:41 I could spend the next hour telling you about it,
49:44 but I'm not allowed to... I'm watching the clock.
49:46 You know, it's very interesting. When we first started out
49:49 we wanted our church members to have the privilege of seeing
49:52 3ABN, but then last year when we came across
49:56 a difficult time we prayed to God
49:58 and said: "You know God, how can we reach more people? "
50:02 And it's very interesting because God answers prayer
50:05 sometimes in a delayed response
50:09 but sometimes He responds very quickly.
50:12 And I just want to tell you that God opened a way
50:15 for us to be on that network
50:17 and it was an answer to prayer.
50:19 I didn't have to go to a committee meeting.
50:21 I didn't have to discuss it with anyone.
50:24 He didn't ask your permission.
50:25 No. That's good. I didn't say to Rosemary:
50:28 "Do you think we should go on? " I passed her office
50:31 and I said: "We are going to go on Vast. "
50:33 And he did that as he streaked past... he popped his head in.
50:37 What's the name of it? It's Vast... V-A...
50:40 How do you spell it? V- A-S-T.
50:43 Viewer Access... You were saying Bast.
50:46 I was saying Bast all the time and she just said
50:48 past... we went past something. And I say past, so it's
50:51 vast and V-A-S-T.
50:54 We speak the proper English.
50:57 You speak American.
50:59 Yes.
51:04 So you know, God opened this door up
51:06 and He just prepared everything for it to take place.
51:10 Right now it's going across Australia
51:13 and reaching into homes about... When we started
51:16 it was just over 300,000 homes, over a million people.
51:20 In the last eleven months
51:22 it's grown by 28,000 homes.
51:25 Now I don't know if you can work that out
51:27 but that's about 600 to 800 homes
51:30 every week are getting access to 3ABN.
51:34 Amen! That's a two-hander.
51:37 So what can I say, Danny? We want to see the gospel go
51:41 to many many places around the world.
51:43 We have to start where we are, so I'd encourage you
51:47 to take the steps. Because I remember Danny
51:50 when I saw him the first time on television
51:52 he said: "The blessing is on the GO! "
51:54 You ought to believe that.
51:56 You can pray "till the cows come home" they say,
51:58 but until you take that first step God can't work.
52:03 So I'd encourage you: take the step.
52:05 Support what 3ABN is doing here.
52:07 And our viewers at 3ABN and Vast
52:11 I would like you to also con- sider supporting this ministry.
52:15 Thank you Danny. It's been a great pleasure to work with you.
52:18 Thank you so much. These are incredible people.
52:19 They volunteered for a long time literally going all across
52:23 Australia letting the people know 15, 18 years ago
52:26 about 3ABN. They worked so hard we finally
52:29 said: "We should hire them... see if they're available. "
52:32 And now they've built a fabulous production center
52:34 there. It's amazing what God has wrought
52:37 through these two people. And I'm so thankful
52:39 that you all are a part of the 3ABN family.
52:42 Quickly I'd just like to say something.
52:44 I want to invite everybody here
52:47 if you can pay for the airfare come to our homecoming
52:50 in Australia... and everybody who's watching.
52:53 We don't care where you're from... come!
52:55 Because Danny's going to be there. I heard two "Amens. "
53:00 All right, we're looking forward to it.
53:02 Rosemary, you're going to be singing for us.
53:03 What are you singing? Who Am I?
53:05 Oh! Great... thank you.
53:22 When I think of how He came
53:26 so far from glory
53:31 Came and dwelt among the lowly
53:37 such as I.
53:42 To suffer shame and such disgrace...
53:48 on Mount Calvary take my place.
53:54 Then I ask myself the question:
53:59 "Who am I? "
54:03 Who am I
54:07 that a King would bleed and die for?
54:14 Who am I
54:17 that He would pray:
54:20 "Not My will... Thine, Lord? "
54:24 The answer I may never know
54:30 why He ever loved me so
54:36 to an old rugged cross
54:39 He would go... who am I?
54:46 When I'm reminded of His words
54:51 "I'll leave you never.
54:57 Just be true...
55:00 I'll give to you
55:02 life forever. "
55:07 I know there's nothing I could have done
55:13 to deserve God's only Son
55:18 to fight my battles till they're done...
55:24 who am I?
55:29 Who am I
55:33 that a King would bleed and die for?
55:39 Who am I that He would pray:
55:45 "Not My will... Thine, Lord? "
55:49 The answer I may never know
55:55 why He ever loved me so
56:01 to an old rugged cross
56:04 He would go... who am I?
56:11 To an old rugged cross He would go...
56:17 who am I?
56:26 Amen! Thank you Rosemary.
56:29 I just wanted you to know that that was an American song
56:33 by the way. I know.
56:35 Written by an American - Rusty Goodman - just so you'll know.
56:37 He just wanted to hug my neck.
56:39 That's what it was... that's what it was!
56:41 You been havin' a good time so far? Amen!
56:44 We're going to take a break in about 45 seconds
56:47 but I wanted to let you know
56:48 coming up is Elder John Bradshaw.
56:50 Incredible man of God.
56:52 He's actually going to be doing two sermons.
56:55 Bro. Rafferty could not be here.
56:56 We want to pray for him. He's having a lot of pain
56:59 and back problems I think. I'm not sure what the details.
57:02 But Bro. Bradshaw said: "Just tell me what you need
57:05 us to do. " So Shelley called him;
57:07 he said: "We'll do 2 sermons; we'll go back-to-back. "
57:10 And so again, for those of you just joining us
57:13 be sure... I always say: "Call your friends, your enemies...
57:16 everybody. Tell them to tune in to 3ABN. "
57:19 Because Spring Camp Meeting is here and now
57:22 and it's going to be going all through this evening,
57:25 tomorrow, through tomorrow night to Friday, Sabbath.
57:28 We're going to have a wonderful time in the Lord.
57:30 Come and join us. Amen!
