00:41 Welcome to the 3ABN Spring Camp Meeting:
00:44 The Three Angels' Messages. 00:49 Hello and welcome to 3ABN Spring Camp Meeting. 00:52 We call it Spring but we're here in June 00:55 so we're soon to be Summer. It was 94 degrees out today 00:58 so I thought it was Summer but they say it's Spring. 01:00 I'll go along with that. 01:02 How ya'll doin' here in the audience tonight? 01:04 Great! Any visitors here? Let's here you clap your hand 01:07 if you're a visitor. 01:10 Wow... that's almost everybody! 01:14 That's almost everybody. We're so glad that you came 01:17 and we were talking about we have people as far away as 01:19 Pakistan. We know London. 01:21 Any other countries? I know Bahamas. 01:23 There's folks from literally all over. That's kind of 01:25 the way heaven... Australia! Russia! 01:28 Panama. OK. That's kind of the way... Where? 01:31 Oh Texas. Yeah, that's another country! 01:35 That's another... Shh. Don't tell them. They think 01:38 they have their own country there. Just let them say that. 01:42 That's fine. Lanny Wolfe's from Houston. 01:46 Right? All right. A Texan himself there. 01:49 All right. So we're so thankful that you allow us to come 01:53 into your home as you do each and every day. 01:55 Thank you for joining us here. 01:56 We're having a great time with the folk that are coming here 01:59 from across the country and around the world. 02:02 And I'm blessed because I meet many of you 02:07 as we're walking. And they have such tremendous testimonies - 02:10 um-hmm - that it's just amazing. 02:11 So tonight what we're going to do this first hour 02:13 we're going to hear some music, 02:16 Marietta's going to be singing for us 02:19 and Lanny accompanying her. 02:20 And I think Tammy, you're going to be singing 02:22 and Pastor Murray and Bro. Tim. 02:24 And we've got the NAPS group. Anybody know the NAPS group 02:28 from Oakwood? They do a great job. 02:30 They're here tonight, and they're going to come up 02:32 and give some testimony. 02:34 And so we have a couple of surprise ones that we're gonna 02:37 bring up also. So we're going to have a great time. 02:40 Then after that we're going to have some great sermons... 02:42 some great spiritual food. So I don't know about ya'll 02:45 but I'm blessed, and I think we ought to sing something. 02:48 Tim, what can we sing here? 02:50 He Hideth My Soul? He Hideth My Soul. You all know that do you? 02:53 A wonderful Savior is Jesus, my Lord... 02:57 let's sing it together. 02:59 You guys on the tele- prompter... They can put it up 03:01 to help you. 04:17 Wow! I don't know what all words we were singing 04:19 but those were different words than I've heard. 04:22 I stuck with the words that I know 04:23 from those I saw on the teleprompter. 04:25 I'm just going from back... You know, I remember SS class 04:29 when I was 10 or 12 so I stuck with those. 04:31 So whatever words you want to sing. 04:33 But isn't it a privilege to serve a God that no matter 04:37 what happens we know that He covers us. Yes! That's right! 04:40 He covers us. I think about Heidi. 04:45 Years ago a man came. 04:49 He was a carpenter, but he assisted in an evangelistic 04:52 series right here in West Frankfort outside of town. 04:55 And I asked him night after night, 'cause I was a carpenter 04:59 at the time. I said: "How can you do this? 05:01 Are you just volunteering? " "I'm just volunteering. " 05:03 And I said: "Why do you do this? " 05:05 He said: "I'll tell you a little story. 05:07 When my daughter Heidi was four years old 05:09 she fell. She was climbing I think in the garage. 05:11 She fell on the concrete and we didn't know if she was going to 05:14 live or die. She had concussion and they put the 05:17 shunt - What do they call it? stent on her head. " 05:21 And he said "For months or weeks at least she was in a coma. 05:25 We didn't know what was going to happen to her. " 05:28 And he said: "We prayed; we had people anoint her. 05:31 We did everything we knew how to do 05:33 but the doctor said just take her home. " 05:35 He said: "One morning I walked in 05:37 and Heidi was standing up in bed. Four years old. 05:41 She said: 'Daddy, I'm hungry. ' " 05:43 It scared him so bad he grabbed her up 05:45 and put clothes on her, rushed her to the hospital. 05:48 Now... been praying that she would be healed, right? 05:51 But he's so shocked by it that he takes her to the hospital. 05:54 So the doctors say: "She's fine. " 05:57 They took everything off of her. 05:58 We don't know... it's just what happened. She's normal. 06:01 She's wonderful. So a little while later 06:06 they went to the mission field. For thirteen years 06:09 the parents took Heidi to the mission field. 06:12 So thirteen years later they came back; she's about 17 or 18 06:16 years old. And there were some friends of their from the States 06:20 that said: "Heidi, we've been waiting 13 years 06:23 to ask you a question. " 06:25 Because what Heidi had said... They said: "We don't know 06:29 what happened to her. " Four-year-old Heidi had said 06:32 at that time, four years old, 06:34 "Well, during the night Jesus came in 06:37 and He touched me with His hand. " 06:41 "He touched me with His hand. " 06:44 Thirteen years later the friend said: "Heidi, 06:47 we've been wanting to ask you a question for 13 years. 06:49 We wanted to wait till we see you in person. 06:52 You said when you were four years old 06:54 that Jesus came into your room 06:57 and He touched you with His hand. " 06:59 "Yes. " They said: "How big was Jesus' hand? " 07:03 Fair question. 07:05 You know what she said without hesitation? 07:09 "It was big enough to cover my whole body. " 07:13 Hallelujah! Jesus' hand is big enough to cover 07:16 every need that you have tonight. Amen! 07:19 It's our hope and our prayer that each and every one of us 07:23 will not leave the way we came. 07:25 We'll be drawn closer to Jesus. 07:27 If you've not made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life, 07:30 it's our prayer that you do it here tonight. 07:33 Let's take time. Yvonne, would you say a little prayer for us 07:36 for viewers around the world 07:38 that need the touch of Jesus' hand? 07:41 Oh Lord, we just praise Your name because we know 07:45 that You will hide us behind the cleft of the rock. 07:49 That Your hand is large enough to cover every problem, 07:52 every situation, every challenge, everything that 07:56 we confront, Lord, You can protect us from. 07:59 And we thank you, God, because we can trust You 08:01 to do that. And so right now, Lord, there's someone watching 08:05 who really needs a touch from You. 08:08 Oh God, please... please step in and touch them. 08:12 Let them know that You are there; 08:14 let them know that You will heal; 08:16 let them know that You care. 08:18 And Lord, we will thank you and praise You... 08:20 we will praise you, Lord, from the bottoms of our hearts 08:23 because we know that You are the Almighty God 08:27 who can do anything. Thank you; we praise You. 08:31 We bless Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen. 08:35 All right. At this time we have a roll that we want to show you. 08:39 It's from President Ted Wilson. 08:41 He was actually here last week at 3ABN. 08:44 I don't know if any of you saw the live program 08:46 with Elder Wilson, but he sent a roll 08:49 for us to play for you here tonight. 08:53 Welcome to 3ABN Spring Camp Meeting! 08:57 The Three Angels Broadcasting Network is a long-standing 09:01 supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church. 09:04 And how appropriate it is that this year's Camp Meeting 09:08 will focus on the three angels' messages 09:12 of Revelation 14. 09:13 Messages that are integral to the very foundation 09:17 of the Seventh-day Adventist church. 09:19 Now speaking about the foundation of the SDA church 09:22 you might look at me and say: "Well something's a little bit 09:26 different. " Yes, it is true I'm growing a beard. 09:30 And the reason for that is we will be holding our 09:32 Annual Council of the Executive Committee 09:36 of the General Conference in Battle Creek, Michigan. 09:39 We're going to be looking back in order to move forward. 09:43 We're going to be looking at a past with a future. 09:47 And what an exciting time it will be 09:50 as we are there together in Battle Creek 09:52 praising God for His blessings and looking a little bit 09:57 like our pioneers did but focusing our attention 10:02 on proclaiming the three angels' messages. 10:05 You see, those three angels' messages are a message 10:08 of warning to the inhabitants of this world 10:11 that the hour of God's judgment is at hand. 10:15 I just preached this precious message 10:18 in Japan... in Tokyo. I want to tell you: God is 10:21 blessing His church all across the world 10:24 and all across Japan. 10:26 I could relate more to you about it, 10:28 but I want to tell you the three angels' messages are being 10:31 proclaimed everywhere. You see, they reaffirm creation 10:35 and God's holy Sabbath 10:37 and they give an urgent call for His people to come out 10:41 of Babylon and join God's commandment-keeping 10:44 remnant church. Brothers and sisters, 10:47 I believe we all sense the urgency of our time. 10:51 Our earth groans under the burden of thousands of years 10:55 of sin. And surely this planet and its people 10:59 have never felt such political, economic, and cultural 11:03 pressures. Jesus is coming again. 11:06 But before He does we have a tremendous work to do 11:10 through the power of the Holy Spirit. 11:12 In Testimonies for the Church volume 9 page 117 11:17 Ellen White wrote: "The work of God in this earth 11:20 can never be finished until the men and women 11:23 comprising our church membership 11:26 rally to the work and unite their efforts 11:29 with those of ministers and church officers. " 11:32 She also wrote in the Review and Herald 11:35 on October 13, 1904: 11:38 "We have received the light of the three angels' messages. 11:41 We need now to come decidedly to the front 11:45 and take our position on the side of truth. " 11:49 God is calling each of us today 11:52 to reach the millions of souls who are desperately 11:54 searching for something to hold onto. 11:57 Something of eternal value. 11:59 Something that will fill their hearts with hope. 12:02 They sense that something of enormous significance 12:06 is about to take place. 12:08 Our Lord's desire is for us to proclaim 12:11 these messages throughout the world with power. 12:14 We must preach and teach about Jesus Christ 12:17 and His righteousness and they will respond 12:20 when they hear the truth. 12:23 I thank God for each of you who have decided to join 12:26 this great Advent movement. 12:28 I believe that as we live through the great and final 12:31 events of earth's history 12:33 we need to study our Bibles and the Spirit of Prophecy 12:36 as never before. To earnestly pray to the Lord 12:39 for guidance personally and as a church. 12:42 I want to commend the supporting ministry work 12:45 of Three Angels Broadcasting Network. 12:48 Over the past three decades they have in many many areas 12:53 and many ways spread God's Word in a powerful way. 12:57 My sincere wish for all of you is that the Lord will bless you 13:01 abundantly during this Camp Meeting 13:03 and give all of you at 3ABN the continued grace 13:07 to live up to your ministry's name and God's high calling. 13:11 Be part of Total Member Involvement: 13:15 everyone doing something for Jesus. 13:17 Thank you 3ABN for what you are doing to help God's work. 13:22 Let's also beseech our Lord's blessing 13:25 through prayer as we move forward boldly 13:28 proclaiming the three angels' messages 13:31 united in spirit and in the saving grace of our Lord 13:35 Jesus Christ. May God bless you at this Camp Meeting... 13:40 at your Camp Meeting. Maranatha! 13:43 Amen! Thank you Elder Wilson. We appreciate that 13:46 so much and his support of 3ABN. 13:49 Well, again we have Lanny Wolfe and Marietta Webster. 13:52 And Lanny has - as I mentioned earlier - 13:56 been writing songs for many many years 13:58 and written some... I guess I can say this... my favorite 14:03 song writer. You're not supposed to say that 14:04 but for many years probably... Say it again. 14:07 We followed you for... He WAS my favorite song writer. 14:12 No... no, he still is. 14:14 And for many many years, and written... God has used him 14:17 to write some incredible songs. But I contacted him 14:21 some months ago... maybe around the end of the year or first 14:23 of the year and I wanted to know if I could assign him 14:27 some songs. Now Lanny is not a Seventh-day Adventist... 14:30 has not been raised in the SDA church 14:33 and neither has Marietta. 14:34 And so they have a background 14:36 that's totally different than ours. 14:38 But I sense something: that they love Jesus 14:40 so we're brothers and sisters together. 14:43 But I asked him... I said: "Can I assign you to write 14:46 some songs? Our theme is the three angels' messages 14:49 and would you write on Revelation and Daniel? " 14:52 What did you say at your church you do about Daniel? 14:54 What you do every Sunday when you go to church? 14:57 Well... we don't talk about Revelation. 15:00 We kind of stick with Psalms and some of those other passages. 15:05 And so when Danny assigned this... 15:07 And you go to Acts and things like that? 15:09 Oh we love Acts. You said they go to Acts. 15:11 And the gospels... yes. Revelation? No. 15:15 Said they don't go to Revelation. So my idea was 15:17 I wonder what would happen if you just turned him loose 15:20 and he had an assignment where he had to study it 15:22 day and night, right? For a few months. 15:24 So what's happened? Have you learned anything from it? 15:28 I've learned a lot from it. 15:31 Actually I have written assignment songs before. 15:34 As a matter of fact, More Than Wonderful 15:36 was an assignment song. OK. Bob McKenzie said: 15:39 "Why don't you write a song about Isaiah 9:6? " 15:42 Well that was easy. 15:43 Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God. All that was easy. 15:47 And when Danny assigned passages from Revelation 15:51 I honestly thought "I'm not sure 15:54 I can step up to the plate and embrace the scripture 15:59 of Revelation and the message of Revelation 16:03 and have it end well. " 16:05 Because I had been so on the other side of the coin 16:10 because if you're not careful you just hear horns and demons 16:15 and beasts and you say: "Whoa! Let me go back to Psalms. " 16:19 You know? And so he said: "You need to write something 16:25 around "Come Out of Her My People. " 16:28 Well that scared me. 16:30 "Come out of HER My people. " 16:33 So I studied, I prayed. 16:36 I would go to bed praying: "God, I need Your revelation 16:40 on how to write this song. " 16:42 And so I learned so much. I read commentaries. 16:46 And so I learned about the fact that Revelation 16:50 talks about Babylon 16:52 and the Old Testament in Daniel talks about Babylon. 16:55 And so I learned about the spirit of Babylon 16:58 which is what? Spiritual, economic, political. 17:02 I learned all of that 17:03 and I still thought: "God, how can I write a song" - 17:07 He can preach it now - "that's inspirational? " 17:10 And it wasn't until I got past "Come out of her My people. 17:16 Do not partake of her sins" 17:19 here's where the turn came. 17:22 "For I'm coming back for a glorious church. " 17:26 Yes! And when God anointed my heart and my mind 17:30 with that part of the scripture 17:33 then I thought: "Yeah! That's what this is all about. " 17:36 All right! It's telling us about what's going to happen 17:39 to the spirit of Babylon and Babylon. 17:41 But the point of Revelation is to remind us 17:45 that we are not to partake of that 17:47 and that God is coming back for us... His glorious church. 17:51 It works! I think he's an Adventist preacher, sounds like. 17:55 Give us... can you? Sometimes it's hard to do when you're not 17:59 thinking, but maybe the first verse a little bit 18:01 of the words God gave you. 18:02 I'll try. The shining jewel of the ancient world, 18:07 Babylon worshiped gods of stone. 18:10 Power and pride were evil twins 18:14 that ruled her heart and throne. 18:18 She was likened to a harlot; 18:21 fornication was in the wine 18:24 that filled the cup from which she drank 18:27 sins of every kind. 18:29 Those are God's words. All right. 18:31 Isn't that amazing? 18:34 Lanny told me... he said this: "I've written hundreds of songs 18:38 but this song... " How'd you say it? "God took the pen" 18:41 Yes... "from you. " I mean, those words... 18:44 When I see words like power and pride 18:48 because that's what Babylon... Sure. That was characteristic. 18:50 So I read power and pride, but to put it in a sentence 18:54 that said: "power and pride were evil twins 18:58 that ruled her heart and throne" 19:00 that's not Lanny Wolfe... that's God. That's God! 19:03 That's anointing. We're going to hear some of those songs 19:06 tomorrow night. Wintley Phipps is singing that song... 19:08 incredible song. But we want to talk right now 19:11 a moment with Marietta. 19:12 Marietta, you've always been one of my favorite singers 19:15 for many many years. Melody thinks the sun rises 19:19 and sets on you and has since she was a little girl. 19:21 But only got to meet you in the last few years. 19:23 She has a tremendous anointing on her. 19:26 Marietta is learning a lot. 19:27 We're learning from each other. 19:29 But you've been reading a lot of materials 19:31 and you say it's made some changes in your life. 19:34 And so when you're comfortable to do it we'll talk about it 19:39 some time. But I'm so thankful how He's used you 19:43 to reach so many people around the world for so many years. 19:47 And now you're going to be sing- ing for us tonight what song? 19:49 Jesus Be The Lord Of All. 19:52 All right. I want to thank you. I thank God first of all 19:55 for connecting us. 19:58 Thank God for letting you and Lanny meet 20:03 and then letting us come as a trio 20:07 and meet Yvonne and Jill and C. A. Murray 20:13 and all these wonderful people at 3ABN. 20:17 Oh, it's just... I can't take the time to tell you how 20:21 much love I feel from all of you 20:25 and especially from these two up here. 20:28 And I just thank God that God has put you in our lives. 20:31 And God is very... He's so smart. 20:34 Sometimes we think we're smart 20:36 but God... He's got us all "beat. " 20:39 And isn't it something how He got 20:42 this... Danny Shelton 20:47 to give him an assignment like that. 20:51 But God had a reason. Yes! 20:54 God is working, and He's working in this Camp Meeting. 21:00 And that's why I want to sing Jesus Be The Lord Of All. 21:04 Whenever I was hearing the message this morning 21:07 that Pastor C. A. Murray was preaching about 21:11 the judgment, about the three angels' messages 21:13 and it's too much for me. I asked him if I could 21:17 read his notes or something. 21:20 You need to get the CD and listen to that over again 21:24 because he was giving us a lot of information. 21:26 And we need to be remembering that 21:29 'cause God is coming very soon. Amen! 21:32 All right. Thank you so much. Thank you! 21:36 As I was sitting there I thought "Oh if they would ask me to sing 21:43 I feel like I would sing 21:46 Jesus, be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart. 21:50 I want to be ready when Jesus comes. 21:53 I want to know what the things are that we need to be doing 21:58 right now because like he taught us today in the sermon 22:02 there are no "do-overs. " 22:04 You get one chance. 22:06 And so I want everything in my life 22:08 as God is judging His church 22:13 I want everything to be right with God 22:17 more than anything else. 22:19 And so we have to put away all the distractions 22:22 that we have in this world. 22:24 It doesn't matter if it's family or whatever. 22:28 We've got to get to where it's just a me and God 22:32 situation that we're focused on all the time. 22:35 Every day that we get up: "What does God want me to do 22:39 today? " And I want Him to make my heart right. 22:43 In this song it says: In my heart 22:47 are kingdoms 22:50 of a world that's all my own. 22:56 Kingdoms that are only seen 23:00 by myself 23:02 and God alone. 23:07 In the past when I tried to rule my world 23:13 it just seemed to fall apart. 23:19 So please, Jesus 23:22 be the Lord of all... 23:27 all the kingdoms 23:30 of my heart. 23:34 Jesus be 23:38 the Lord of all, 23:41 Jesus be 23:44 the Lord of all, 23:48 Jesus be 23:51 the Lord of all 23:55 the kingdoms 23:57 of my heart. 24:03 I guess I only fooled myself 24:08 for I said I had yielded all. 24:13 But in a secret corner of my heart 24:18 was a kingdom that did not fall. 24:23 That's what God can show us in meetings like this. 24:26 He'll show us what that one thing is that 24:28 is hindering us and we need to get rid of it. 24:33 We need to separate ourselves from anything 24:35 that would keep us from pleasing Him 100%. 24:39 We've got to be ready when He comes. 24:42 I guess I only fooled myself for I said I had yielded all. 24:47 But in a secret corner of my heart 24:51 was a kingdom that did not fall. 24:56 But I surrender now; 25:00 make my heart Your throne. 25:05 Rule its kingdoms 25:07 great and small. 25:12 For if You're not Lord 25:16 of everything 25:21 then You're not Lord 25:25 at all. 25:29 Jesus, be 25:32 the Lord of all... Can you sing that? 25:36 Jesus, be 25:39 the Lord of all, 25:43 Jesus, be 25:46 the Lord of all 25:49 the kingdoms of 25:53 my heart. Now let's say: 25:56 Jesus, I surrender 26:01 all, 26:03 Jesus, I 26:06 surrender all, 26:09 Lord Jesus, I 26:13 surrender all 26:17 the kingdoms of 26:20 my heart. 26:24 For if You're not Lord 26:27 of everything 26:31 then You're 26:34 not Lord 26:38 at all. 26:44 Gotta get ready, saints. God bless you. 26:47 Amen. 26:58 Wasn't that beautiful? Amen! 27:01 That is the sweetest lady. 27:03 When I was young and growin' up 27:06 the Lanny Wolfe trio were like movie stars to me. 27:10 They went in the house all the time... their music... 27:14 and we learned so much southern gospel 27:17 and southern gospel songs, and they're just fantastic people. 27:23 How many of you - or is I just me? 27:27 that gets so overwhelmed sometimes with life 27:31 that you don't know what to do? 27:33 That you're just beside yourself. 27:36 I hope I'm not the only one. 27:40 That's the way the last few weeks have been for me. 27:43 There's been so many things going on 27:45 and I've just felt overwhelmed. 27:48 And I've cried a few times thinking I'm never going to get 27:51 things done... I'm never going to be able to... 27:53 My son had surgery yesterday in St. Louis. 27:56 He had back surgery... fusion surgery. 27:58 We had a friend a few weeks ago that had surgery - 28:01 the same exact surgery - and there was a mistake made. 28:06 Things went wrong and he lost his leg. 28:12 And I have been so burdened for him and his wife. 28:16 He was in a coma for 9 days and when he woke up 28:19 he thought he'd woke up from back surgery. 28:22 And he had been under for 9 days and lost his leg 28:26 and had to deal with that when he woke up. 28:28 So my son had the same yesterday 28:31 so we did a lot of praying. 28:32 We knew that was a freak thing that happened 28:34 but anyway, he came through. He's fine. 28:39 He's in a lot of pain but he'd doing good, 28:40 and I thank the Lord for that. 28:42 But when I became overwhelmed 28:45 a dear friend... She said: "Tammy, 28:48 when you can't cope all you do is you say 28:52 'Lord, I can't. All these things are laid out in front of me 28:56 but I can't do them all in my humanness and in my weakness. 29:01 So Lord, I'm telling You now 29:03 without You I can't do it. So I'm just putting it on You 29:07 and I'm sayin' work it out 29:09 because I can't work it out myself. ' " 29:11 And you know, I did that 29:14 and the Lord has been with me all this week. 29:17 Little by little the things have gotten done. 29:20 And here I am tonight, and I didn't think I would be. 29:24 But here I am, and so I praise His name for it. 29:36 Jesus, 29:37 You're the center of my joy. 29:44 All that's good and perfect 29:48 comes from You. 29:52 You're the heart of my contentment, 29:56 hope for all I do. 30:00 Jesus, 30:02 You're the center of my joy. 30:09 When I've lost my direction 30:13 You're the compass for my way. 30:16 You're the fire and the light 30:19 when nights are dark and cold. 30:24 In sadness You're the laughter 30:28 that shatters all my fear. 30:32 And when I'm all alone 30:35 Your hand is there to hold. 30:40 And I say Jesus, 30:43 You're the center of my joy. 30:49 All that's good and perfect 30:52 comes from You. 30:57 You're the heart of my contentment, 31:01 hope for all I do. 31:05 Jesus, You're the center of my joy. 31:13 You're why I find pleasure 31:17 in the simple things of life. 31:21 You're the music 31:23 in the meadows and the streams. 31:28 You're the voices of the children 31:33 in our families and in our homes. 31:37 You're the source and the finish 31:40 of my highest dreams. 31:47 I say: "Jesus, You're the center 31:50 of my joy. " 31:55 All that's good and perfect 31:58 comes from You. 32:03 You're the heart of my contentment, 32:07 hope for all I do. 32:12 Jesus, You're the center 32:15 of my joy... 32:20 Jesus, 32:22 You're the center 32:24 of my joy. 32:35 Amen! 32:39 Thank you Tammy; thank you Tim. 32:41 Tim and Tammy... I never thought about that. 32:43 There you go. T and T he says. 32:45 No, it's already taken. All right. 32:48 It's our privilege to come up here. We'd like to introduce... 32:51 Yvonne, why don't you introduce 32:52 our sister? She is indeed our sister 32:56 from the Bahamas. This is Cleola Pinder. 33:00 She is the administrator - which is like the mayor - 33:03 or commissioner - or commissioner of Long Island, 33:06 Bahamas and she is a sister in the Lord. 33:09 An Adventist sister in the Lord - all right - as well. 33:12 Well, we want to talk about that for just a moment 33:15 because you were born and raised in a different church, right? 33:20 Yes. Tell us a little about it. 33:22 Well, I gave my life to the Lord when I was 12 years old. 33:26 My parents are divorced, and so it was very traumatic 33:29 for me. And so I used to talk to the Lord a lot. 33:33 And I went with my grandparents. 33:36 My grandfather was a Baptist minister in charge of the 33:39 churches on one of the islands for 40 years. 33:43 All my uncles are pastors. 33:45 My mom who got re-married, she got married to an Anglican 33:49 priest. Two of my aunts got married to ministers, 33:52 so I'm "trenched" in the Baptist... 33:56 But when I was twelve I said to the Lord: 34:01 "No matter how successful I become and no matter how far 34:04 I go never let my hand go. " 34:07 And He has truly been faithful to me from then 34:11 until now. That was 45 years ago. Amen! 34:14 And so I love the Lord. I was always searching for the truth, 34:19 and one day I asked my Baptist pastor 34:22 about Sabbath... you know, what day was the Sabbath. 34:27 And he said: "Well, Saturday is the Sabbath. " 34:30 I said: "Well why do we worship on Sunday? " 34:32 He said: "Well, it was the resurrection. " 34:36 And so that kind of stuck with me. So for five years 34:39 I was observing the Sabbath but not really observing 34:42 because when you don't know you still attend... 34:44 You know, I didn't really attend the church, I just stayed home 34:47 basically. And so I would watch 3ABN 34:50 from time to time. And then it had it so that 34:53 I was transferred to Long Island last year August 34:56 and I started attending the SDA church there regularly. 35:01 And after six months I couldn't contain myself. 35:05 And so I received the truth. In fact, my elder who was 35:09 preaching at the time is here in the audience with me... 35:12 he and his wife. And I'm truly grateful to them 35:15 for the word that they taught. 35:17 And so in February when I think it was the president of a 35:21 conference came over that weekend I asked him a question. 35:25 I said: "I've been saved, Spirit-filled 35:28 since I was a teenager. Do I still need to be baptized 35:31 again? " What I love about his response: 35:34 he didn't answer me... he went to the Word. 35:37 And he went to the Word that said 35:40 John's disciples said, you know, "We were baptized by John. " 35:44 And he said: "Yeah, you were baptized by water 35:46 but Jesus' disciples are baptizing by the Spirit. " 35:50 And so he gave me the choice. And I said: 35:53 "Well yes! I would love to be baptized. " 35:55 So February 6 I was baptized as a Seventh-day Adventist. 36:00 Amen! All right! Praise the Lord. 36:02 Now sometimes I hear many of us talk 36:07 and I've been this same way. People listen or they watch 3ABN 36:10 and you're like: "They've been watching a year. I wonder why 36:13 they don't... you know... " We put it on our timetable. 36:16 You watched 3ABN off and on for about how many years 36:20 would you say? Probably just about two years 36:22 or so. OK. Yeah, but more intensely so. 36:25 You know, when you came to Long Island I met both of you 36:28 I started watching, so I feel like I know everybody 36:31 on the set. So in the back just now I was just greeting 36:34 everybody by name and they were like "Hmm? " 36:37 But yes, I've been watching for a while 36:39 so now it's a program... Earlier this year I said 36:43 one of my New Year's resolutions was to stop watching so much TV 36:46 because it's a time waster so I cut out TV completely. 36:50 And so what I started doing was watching 3ABN 36:54 on my tablet. 36:56 And then sometimes when I do turn the TV on 36:58 it would be on 3ABN. Amen! And Dare to Dream. 37:01 And Dare to Dream. OK! 37:03 All right. You trained her well... Dare to Dream. 37:06 Dare to Dream. Well Miss Pinder, thank you so much 37:10 for what you do for the cause of God. 37:11 For the decision that you've made. 37:13 And when we went there we needed to talk to the 37:18 administrator of the island. We met... Where is? 37:22 They're over here. OK. 37:24 Warren and Karla, would you stand up for just a second? 37:27 Rogers... Brother and Sister Rogers. 37:29 This is the head elder. He's a little guy 37:32 and head elder of the Seventh-day Adventist church. 37:36 He's also one of the senior police officers. 37:38 and Karla is the principal of the Adventist school 37:41 on the island. So when Sr. Pinder was moved there... 37:46 Were you on Nassau or another island? 37:47 I was on another island. Another island 37:49 and they sent her to be a commissioner on Long Island 37:54 she started going. And they are the ones who then 37:56 I guess ministered to you and helped be there for you. 37:59 Um-hmm. And so thank you so much for what you guys 38:02 do for the cause of God. Well coming here this weekend 38:08 God is truly awesome and He is faithful. 38:11 And you know, since coming into the SDA 38:14 I called all of my children and I told them... 38:17 You know, I called all of my aunts and my uncles 38:20 and my mom, and I'm telling them about the truth: 38:23 especially the mark of the beast 38:26 and the enforcement of Sunday law. 38:27 And even though I'm almost like a new babe 38:30 in the Adventist faith I'm out there 38:33 you know, preaching and preaching and preaching. 38:35 So when Wes Peppers was speaking this morning 38:38 I was just truly... So I feel like coming here 38:41 this weekend He is fitting me to be a witness. 38:45 All right. We love it. 38:47 I truly truly loved that message, the evangelism message. 38:50 And now I can kind of taper it down 38:52 because I think it was like an urgency on me. 38:55 I just had to tell them 38:56 even though I didn't have the full full knowledge 38:58 of it, and so this weekend is indeed a blessing. 39:01 So I really appreciate to be here. 39:02 Thank you. We're so glad that you're here. 39:05 Thank you so much. All right. 39:07 We're going to ask the NAPS group to come out. 39:10 I think they're here. 39:11 And NAPS does an incredible work around the world. 39:15 And 3ABN has been working with them and supporting them. 39:18 Here they come. Hey Miss Darla! How are you doing? 39:21 All right. Aren't these a good looking group of young folks? 39:24 All right. See if we've got room for you all. 39:28 Come on down a little ways if you want. We'll make sure 39:30 you're all in the lighting. Step up just a little bit. 39:33 And where's my buddy that's about? He didn't make it 39:37 this time, huh? Nope. OK... all right. 39:40 I was going to play him basket- ball, but since he's not here... 39:42 And just kidding. 39:44 Tell us what's happening and what you all are doing. 39:47 You always come back with some encouraging stories 39:50 that make us all want to go out and be better witnesses 39:53 for Jesus. Yeah, for those who don't know... we're NAPS. 39:56 The National Association for the Prevention of Starvation. 40:00 And God is A-MA-ZING! 40:03 We just returned at 3AM this morning 40:06 from a mission trip to Guyana. 40:08 So you're going to get to see just a taste of that. 40:11 It was SO powerful 40:14 thing after thing that God did. 40:16 So you'll get a taste of that. 40:17 God has been moving in many ways. We now have 40:19 three campuses: one in Huntsville, Alabama; 40:23 one in Sawyerville, Alabama; 40:25 and one is Mississippi... Noxapater, Mississippi. 40:28 And God is doing great things. And I'm going to let 40:31 my brother Joshua Obayez actually share a little bit 40:35 of what is on his heart as far as how God is moving. 40:39 Yeah, I just want to praise the Lord because 40:42 being able to have these opportunities and going on these 40:45 mission trips has truly transformed my life. 40:47 And it's been an amazing opportunity and experience. 40:50 But one thing that always hurts 40:53 is just seeing how few people, 40:55 especially Christian young people, are involved 40:58 in mission and in service. 41:00 And from knowing my own personal experience 41:02 and how being involved in the Lord's work has changed my life 41:06 I appeal to all the young people. Really, honestly, 41:08 and truly, from the bottom of my heart, 41:10 please please get involved in service. 41:13 Please get involved in ministry. 41:15 Honestly. And especially to the young men. 41:18 There is not enough of you guys out there. 41:21 If you guys were on the mission field, 41:22 if you guys were on the battlefield, 41:24 you would know how vital your presence is. 41:26 We just finished building a church in Guyana. 41:29 And I wish that there were more guys out there to help 41:31 me shovel cement and lay bricks. 41:35 Praise God for J.P. 41:37 But we need more of you guys. 41:38 And know that it's not just manual labor 41:41 but soul-saving ministry. 41:43 It's not just for those souls but the soul you save 41:45 may be your own... so realize that. 41:47 If you're looking for trans- formation, there's no better 41:50 place than on the mission field. 41:52 Amen. 41:57 Yes, and we're actually going to be showing you a video - 42:00 just a short video - kind of summarizing our time in Guyana. 42:04 But one testimony that I actually want to share 42:07 with our mission trip to Guyana 42:08 is one very powerful testimony. 42:11 And I actually share that testi- mony with my friend Gabrianne. 42:15 We were actually Bible study partners in Guyana, 42:18 and we had a Bible study with this young girl named Anissa. 42:22 And Anissa was 8 years old and she... you know... 42:26 she was coming to the programs and we just saw how big 42:29 her smile was and how happy she was. 42:30 And she came to us one day and said: "You know what? 42:33 I want you guys to come to my home and do Bible studies. " 42:37 And so we said: "Of course, we'll come. " 42:38 And we went, and as we were giving Bible studies 42:42 her grandmother and her mother were both there. 42:44 And so they were actually able to experience the Bible studies 42:47 for themselves. And they actually told us afterwards 42:50 how much of a difference they saw in Anissa 42:53 after being at both the children's programs 42:56 and being a part of the Bible studies. 42:58 Before we had come, Anissa, you know... she grew up 43:01 as a happy young girl, but because of different events 43:04 that happened in her life her grandmother and her mother 43:07 both told us how she had become very distant. 43:11 She was very unhappy, and she wouldn't do her homework 43:14 and things like that. 43:16 And so after being a part of the children's program 43:18 she would come home smiling... happy. 43:21 They wouldn't have to ask her to do her homework 43:23 'cause she'd go straight to doing it. 43:25 And they noticed that she just had a joy 43:27 that was brought back into her. 43:29 And as a result, they wanted to know more about what it is 43:31 that she was learning about. 43:33 So now that opened the door for us to be able to go and do 43:35 Bible studies with them. And now not only was Anissa 43:39 baptized but now her mother and her grandmother 43:41 are looking to both be baptized as well 43:43 and become a part of the Adventist church. 43:45 Amen! 43:49 In the video that you are about to see 43:53 you're going to see that when NAPS goes on its missions 43:55 we do not stay in nice hotels. 43:58 I always tell everybody: "When you make a donation 44:02 to this organization you can know that every dollar 44:06 is going for saving a soul. " 44:08 We rode in a bush truck for the last two days of the mission. 44:13 You'll see a little bit of that. 44:15 You're going to see even door-to-door ministry. 44:17 We were building a wellness center where people would be 44:20 able to go and receive natural healing. 44:23 So it's a powerful thing. You'll see a little bit 44:26 of that building. And in just two weeks 44:29 it was able to be built. So as you watch 44:31 know that that is because of your prayers and your support. 46:36 A family, a teenage girl, I believe she's sixteen 46:41 and she has some younger siblings. 46:43 And their mother is not here with them anymore. 46:45 So sometimes the teenage sibling has to go out 46:50 and try to find food for them. 46:51 So we're coming today just to bring them some food 46:54 and to invite them to an evangelistic program 46:56 that we're having tonight. 48:51 Amen! 48:56 They put this video apparently together on the way. 48:59 I mean, this is fresh. They got in at what? Three this morning? 49:02 Yes. And she whispered to me and said: "We have... " 49:05 I won't tell you how long. "We hadn't taken a shower 49:07 for a while till we got to 3ABN. " 49:09 So we're glad that you did. You all smell very nicely up here. 49:13 Smell good. I'm starting to get a complex 49:16 you all smell so good. 49:18 So quickly tell us a little bit. How can we support? 49:22 You all are traveling around the world; you help people. 49:25 You physically build things; you help feed people. 49:28 You help... you give them Bible studies; you bring them 49:31 to the Lord. Everywhere you go there's baptisms. 49:33 Souls are drawn closer to Jesus. 49:35 What can we do... the viewers? Let us have a part in this. 49:39 Let us help you. What can we do to help you? 49:41 One thing we always say - and Danny doesn't say to say this - 49:44 but we always say "Donate to 3ABN. " 49:48 You know, if you're going to give, give to 3ABN 49:52 and then support NAPS as well. 49:54 You know, like but don't... help this... Because of 3ABN 49:58 we're able to do what we do. They have kept us year after 50:01 year. And just like the video you just saw 50:04 there are tons of villages. We had to travel for two days 50:08 just to - it was actually I think three - but 50:10 just to get there. There are tons of villages where they 50:14 know not Christ. They think they have to pay to get to heaven 50:17 and they're weeping because they cannot afford it. 50:19 We need to set these people free and you can make a difference. 50:24 Amen. Thank you. So what we'll have you to do 50:27 those of you watching around the world: 50:29 NAPS are going to be here for a while. If you want to make out 50:31 a check and hand it to Darla or one of these folk. 50:34 Make it to them... that's fine. 50:35 Those of you if you want to write to 3ABN 50:39 just put for NAPS - N-A-P-S. See it on their shirts there. 50:43 We will see that every penny goes to you all. 50:46 So once again, thank you so much for what you do 50:49 for the cause of God. God bless you. 50:51 And thank you for what you do here at 3ABN! 50:53 All right... God bless. Thank you all. 50:59 It's my privilege now to introduce. Our time is really 51:03 running short but I'm happy to get out Stephanie Dawn. 51:07 How many love Stephanie? Let her know about it. 51:09 And Dann Thornton. Dann, thank you for what you do 51:12 and Stephanie. Thank you for being here tonight. 51:15 What are you going to sing for us? A song called Arise, Shine. 51:18 And you started singing at 3ABN when you were? Eleven. 51:22 And now you're old enough... Are you old enough? 51:24 Thirty-eight. Oh, I can ask you. 51:26 Thank you. Women are sensitive, sometimes, you know, about 51:29 their age. No, I'm good with that. 51:31 Stephanie's not... OK. That's 'cause you're 38 not 68. 51:34 But anyway... All right; God bless you; thank you honey. 51:46 The people in darkness, 51:49 they stumble with eyes that cannot see. 51:54 Alone in the night 51:56 they call for the light, 51:58 they long for the brightness. 52:05 But on the horizon 52:09 He comes with the glory of the sun 52:14 with the rush of the stream to heal and redeem... 52:18 His radiance gleaming. 52:24 Arise, shine... your light has come. 52:28 The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. 52:32 Arise, shine... your light has come. 52:37 Lift up your eyes and see... 52:41 lift up your eyes and see. 52:52 Behold, a new Zion 52:56 that is so high on His holy hill. 53:00 A torch in the night, 53:02 a city of light 53:04 ablaze with His brightness. 53:10 Oh, see your Redeemer! 53:15 Hear His voice, like the roar of a thousand seas. 53:19 See... awake you who sleep, 53:22 though the climb may be steep, 53:24 I call to My people: 53:29 I call: "Arise, shine... 53:32 your light has come. 53:34 The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. 53:39 Arise, shine... your light has come. 53:43 Lift up your eyes and see... 53:47 lift up your eyes and see. 53:59 See the scepter raised into love 54:07 holding kingdoms by His might. 54:15 See the star arise in Jacob. 54:23 No more sun to rule by day 54:27 and no more moon to rule by night. 54:31 He will be your everlasting light! 54:38 Arise, shine... 54:41 your light has come. 54:43 The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. 54:47 Arise, shine... your light has come. 54:51 Lift up your eyes and see... 54:55 lift up your eyes and see... 54:59 lift up your eyes 55:02 and see! 55:14 Amen! Thank you, Stephanie. 55:19 We have about one minute before we have to take a break. 55:23 Do you have anything you'd like to say to the folk here 55:25 and the folk around the world to encourage them? 55:28 I would say to do precisely as the song just said: 55:31 as we are here in the end of time to preach the three angels' 55:34 messages. God is calling us to arise and shine 55:37 for God's light is pouring upon us 55:40 ready to fill us with His Holy Spirit 55:43 that we may spread this message to the world... 55:45 each one of us playing a part in it. 55:47 All right! 55:49 You know we love you here. 55:52 Thank you! I love being here. 55:53 Those of you that are here and also Stephanie and her family 55:56 they travel full-time ministry. 55:58 If the Holy Spirit's impressing and you want to write a check 56:01 to their ministry you'll see them around here. 56:04 And just feel free as the Holy Spirit impresses you 56:07 to bless them. Say: "Lord, what would You have me to do? " 56:09 Because it's not an easy task being on the road 56:13 and traveling and going from one place to another 56:16 and staying... doing all that you do. 56:17 But you do it because of your love for Jesus. 56:19 Yes. We thank you so much for that. 56:22 And it's my hope and prayer that the viewers also 56:25 that you would support Stephanie and her family 56:28 for what they do for the cause of God. 56:30 Thank you so much. Thank you. God bless you. 56:36 Surely the presence 56:41 of the Lord is in this place. 56:46 I can feel 56:48 His mighty power 56:51 and His grace. 56:56 I can hear the brush 56:59 of angels' wings; 57:01 I see glory on each face. 57:08 Surely the presence 57:12 of the Lord 57:15 is in this place. |
