And so I believe we are going to 00:51 receive an extra-special blessing this evening. Amen? 00:54 Amen. Amen! Tonight I'm not even going to 00:58 take a long time to make this introduction 01:01 because I want to save the time for the Word. 01:04 All right! Happy Sabbath, everyone. 07:03 Happy Sabbath! 07:04 Are you ready to eat? 07:07 Yes! 07:09 Let us pray over the food. 07:14 Heavenly Father, bless this food 07:20 that You have prepared for us. 07:24 May we be filled; 07:26 may we be nourished; may we be strengthened. 07:31 In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. 07:35 Amen. 07:38 Tonight I want to talk to you 07:41 about a message I've entitled The Image of the Beast. 07:46 How many of you believe that we are living at the end of time? 07:50 We are living in the last days. 07:55 I want to share something with you just to set the foundation. 07:58 In the book of Exodus chapters 1 and 2 08:02 we have the story of Moses who has been drawn out of waters. 08:06 He has been drawn out of waters. 08:12 In Exodus chapter 3 08:15 Moses goes into the wilderness where he is there for how long? 08:20 Forty years... so please note: 08:22 he is drawn out of waters and then goes into the wilderness 08:27 for forty. 08:32 I'm just going to wait. 08:33 I'm just going to wait, man. He is drawn out of waters. 08:39 He goes into the wilderness for forty years 08:43 and then he returns to do the work of delivering his people. 08:46 He performs miracles. Amen. Amen! 08:50 And when you get to Exodus 20 what happens is 08:52 he establishes the covenant. Amen. 08:56 And then something interesting happens in Exodus chapter 24. 08:59 In Exodus 24 the Bible says that Moses 09:02 went up into the mount. 09:06 And the Bible says that a cloud received him 09:09 out of the sight of the people. 09:14 Come on, man... come on. 09:16 Moses goes up into the mount and so we know that Moses 09:20 leaves behind the children of Israel. 09:22 So he has gone up into the mountain. 09:24 Something interesting happens because the children of Israel 09:27 expected... they thought that Jesus would... 09:31 they thought that Moses would return 09:37 sooner than he did. 09:40 And so, you know, time passes 09:43 and they began to think: "Huh! It looks like 09:45 Moses is not coming back. 09:48 We thought he was coming back and our parents told us 09:51 he was coming back and their parents believed 09:54 that he was coming back but he has not returned. " 09:56 So... check this out: 09:59 while Moses is up in the mount and the children of Israel are 10:02 below something interesting happens because the children 10:05 of Israel make an image to a beast. 10:14 They make an image to a beast 10:16 and they begin to worship the image of the beast. 10:23 And when Moses returns he catches everyone off guard. 10:29 And the question is: "Who is on the Lord's side? " 10:36 Beloved, this is where we are headed. 10:39 This is the time we are living in. 10:41 When you go to the book of Revelation 10:43 you will find in Revelation chapter 13, 10:45 Revelation chapter 12, you will find there various beasts 10:49 mentioned. 10:51 And the Bible tells us that these beasts 10:54 are going to go after God's people with a vengeance 10:57 and we have to be ready not to worship the beast. 11:02 Not to worship the image. 11:07 But don't fear because there is good news. 11:11 And that good news is what I like to call 11:14 the prophecy of Daniel. How many of you are aware 11:16 of the prophecy of Daniel? 11:18 OK... you don't even know what I'm talking about 11:20 but you're raising your hands 11:22 because you're like the prophecy of Daniel. 11:23 There are many prophecies in Daniel 11:26 but I'm talking about how many of you know 11:28 THE prophecy of Daniel? 11:32 OK... now, now you're like: "Well I don't know the prophecy 11:35 of Daniel. " OK... listen, listen. 11:37 In order for us to understand it is the main prophecy 11:41 of the book of Daniel. Now, you may not have heard it 11:44 like this before, but you are very familiar with it. 11:46 So in order to understand THE prophecy of Daniel 11:49 we're going to have to go thru the whole book of Daniel. 11:51 Are you ready to go through the whole book of Daniel tonight? 11:54 Yes! Don't worry, it will only take us a few minutes. 11:57 So... let's begin with Daniel chapter 1. 12:00 In Daniel chapter 1 we have the story of these 4 Hebrew boys 12:05 who are faithful to God. Why? Because they will not eat 12:09 the king's what? The king's meat or drink his wine. 12:12 Who is the king? 12:14 Nebuchadnezzar. 12:15 He is king of what? Babylon. 12:17 So check this out, beloved. I'm sharing with you 12:21 the message now, but I've got to give it to you in pieces. 12:23 It's the prophecy that you're about to receive in pieces. 12:26 So listen carefully. In Daniel chapter 1 12:28 we have a group of people who avoid the wine of Babylon. 12:34 Y'all... Beloved listen: at the end of time 12:39 there will be a people who avoid the wine of Babylon. 12:44 Amen. Amen! All right, Daniel chapter 2. 12:47 What happens in Daniel chapter 2? Remember 12:49 because these 4 Hebrew boys were found worthy of... 12:53 avoided the king's wine... in Daniel chapter 2 12:57 they are given understanding of end-time prophecy. 13:04 Beloved, at the time of the end there will be a people 13:07 who avoid the wine of Babylon. And because they avoid the wine 13:10 of Babylon they will be the only ones found in all the kingdom 13:13 who are able to understand the prophecy. 13:16 And what was the prophecy? 13:18 What was the message they gave Nebuchadnezzar? 13:20 The message was simple: Babylon will fall. 13:30 So Daniel 1: there will be a people at the end of time 13:33 who avoid the wine of Babylon. 13:34 As a result, they will be able... they will be the ones 13:37 who will have an understanding of the prophecy 13:39 and preach that Babylon will? Fall. 13:42 Now as a result of that, Babylon will set up an image. 13:50 Are you catching this? Yes! 13:52 What chapter are we in? Three! Daniel chapter 3. Very good. 13:55 As a result of this Babylon will set up an image. 13:59 But when Babylon does this her sins will have reached 14:03 unto heaven. Do you remember in Daniel chapter 4 14:05 where that tree representing the kingdom of Babylon 14:08 reaches unto heaven? And God says: "Yet your sins 14:11 have gone too far. " 14:13 Check this out, beloved. At the end of time there will be 14:15 a people who avoid the wine of Babylon. 14:17 As a result of avoiding the wine of Babylon 14:19 they will preach the message that Babylon is fallen. 14:21 Babylon in return will build an image 14:24 and command all to bow down and worship. 14:26 And when they do this their sins will have reached unto heaven. 14:32 And when their sins reach unto heaven 14:33 Babylon will fall. 14:37 That's Daniel chapter 5. 14:41 You remember what happened in Daniel 5, yes? 14:44 That's the chapter that Babylon falls. 14:49 Babylon will be declared fallen. 14:51 Now in Daniel chapter 6- very interesting - 14:53 you have a death decree that is issued. 14:58 Because we cannot find anything wrong with Daniel 15:01 we must find something regarding the law of God. 15:07 Are you? You know this prophecy, don't you? 15:10 You've just never heard it like this, have you? 15:13 You know it. It's nothing new, beloved. 15:16 You understand it; you know it, but check this out. 15:19 So let's follow on. In Daniel 7 guess what? 15:21 The little horn... the little horn will have his dominion 15:26 taken away because that's what Daniel 7 says. 15:28 In Daniel 8 the sanctuary will be? Cleansed. 15:33 Amen! In Daniel chapter 9... 15:35 this is what happens in Daniel chapter 9. 15:37 Daniel chapter 9 is about the 70-week prophecy 15:40 which describes the close of probation on a group of people 15:43 that reject the Messiah. Are you with me? 15:46 So watch this: in Daniel chapter 1 there will be a people 15:49 who avoid the wine of Babylon. As a result... 15:52 as a result they will be the ones that preach the message 15:56 that Babylon is fallen. Babylon in return will 15:59 set up an image, demanding that all bow down and worship. 16:02 When they do this, their sins will have reached until? 16:05 heaven. And when that happens Babylon will be declared? 16:09 Fallen. And as a result of this they are going to set up 16:13 a death decree that all who will not worship 16:17 the beast should be killed. 16:21 But don't fear... because the little horn will have it's 16:25 dominion taken away. The sanctuary will be cleansed. 16:28 Probation will be closed on those that reject God. 16:33 Daniel 11- listen carefully - 16:36 the king of the north will come to his end 16:40 and Daniel 12: Michael... 16:48 Yes! Michael will stand up 16:51 and the dead in Christ shall rise! 16:54 Beloved, listen to me: the entire book of Daniel 16:57 as it is written in chronological order 17:00 is a prophecy about God's end-time people. 17:03 Amen! 17:04 Do not make me get excited all alone, by myself. OK? 17:09 So beloved, here is the question: Do you want that 17:12 to be your story? Amen! Absolutely! 17:15 We want that to be our story. 17:17 But here's the thing: if you want that to be your story, 17:20 you have to understand something. 17:22 If you want to avoid worshiping the beast and his image, 17:25 you've gotta understand something crucial. 17:28 I'm going to invite you to come with me to the book of 17:29 Genesis chapter 1... Genesis chapter 1. 17:33 And I want you to notice with me Genesis 1:26. 17:38 When you're there, please say "Amen. " 17:40 And so the Bible says: "And God said: 'Let us make man 17:42 in our image after our likeness 17:45 and let them have dominion over the... ' " What? 17:48 "fish of the sea and over the... " What? 17:51 "fowl of the air and over the cattle 17:54 and over all the... " What? "earth and over every 17:57 creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. " 18:00 So there are two points I want you to get here. 18:02 Number one: man was made in the likeness 18:07 and the image of God. 18:10 What does that mean? 18:12 What does it mean that man was "made in the likeness 18:15 and the image of God? " 18:17 Does it mean that man looked like God? 18:21 Or does it mean that man acted... had the character... 18:26 had the mind... like God? 18:29 So to be in the image and likeness of God 18:32 simply means that man acted like God. 18:35 How many of you would like to act like God? 18:38 Some of you are looking funny like: "Wait! What do you mean 18:40 by? " No, no, no... I don't mean to BE God. 18:42 I simply mean to act, to behave, to follow God's 18:47 character. Yeah... amen. 18:49 So man was made in the image and likeness of God 18:51 meaning he had the character of God 18:54 or let me say it this way: he had the mind of God. 18:59 His mind was holy... pure... righteous. 19:04 That's the first thing I want you to note. 19:06 The second thing I want you to note 19:07 is that there are two kingdoms in this verse. 19:10 How many kingdoms, everyone? 19:12 Two. What are those kingdoms? 19:14 The kingdom of men and the kingdom of animals. 19:19 The animal kingdom. 19:24 So when God made man in His image 19:28 He said: "You will have dominion 19:32 over the fowl of the air, over the fish of the sea, 19:35 and over every thing that creeps upon the earth. " 19:39 But something happened. 19:42 Man sinned, yes? 19:45 In Genesis chapter 3 verse 1 19:48 Genesis chapter 3 verse 1 the Bible says: "Now the serpent 19:51 was more subtle than any beast of the... " Hold on! 19:55 Wait a minute. What is the serpent here? 20:00 A... huh... very interesting. 20:04 Satan works through a serpent 20:10 which the Bible says was a beast 20:14 to get Adam and Eve to disobey God. 20:17 Yeah, yeah, yeah... no, no, no! 20:20 Because you have blank looks on your faces right now. 20:22 So when God created Adam and Eve 20:24 He had given them dominion over the beasts. 20:27 Y'all are not feeling it. 20:30 And so what happens is Satan comes in through a serpent 20:35 to put doubt in the minds of Adam and Eve. 20:42 Are you with me? 20:44 He puts doubt in the word of God. 20:50 Now it's very interesting: 20:54 is the dragon in the story? 20:57 Is the dragon in the story? Yes. 21:00 Yes. Does the dragon work through a beast in this story? 21:04 Yes! 21:13 Do the dragon and the beast turn Eve into a false messenger? 21:26 Whoo! Ladies, I'm sorry... 21:32 but you get this. Forget about this... just focus. 21:35 Just focus... just focus. 21:38 And I want you to watch what's happening here. 21:40 You have this 3-fold union 21:45 that basically comes to Adam and convinces him 21:48 to turn against God. 21:52 Now... now, what is the deception over? 21:55 Listen very carefully: what were they told? 21:58 "You will be like God. " 22:00 So would you say this would be a counterfeit of God? 22:03 So a counterfeit of God, yes? 22:05 Number one, and number two: "You will not surely? " 22:09 "die. " So that is the teaching of the state of the? 22:12 dead. So the very first deception 22:15 was over a counterfeit God 22:18 and the state of the dead. 22:30 A dragon, a beast, and a false messenger. 22:40 When the Bible says that man sinned 22:42 it's very interesting because the Bible says... 22:45 the Bible says that when God sees Adam and Eve in the garden 22:51 He says: "Behold, the man has become as 22:54 one of us. " Now I have recently discovered 22:57 or come to the understanding that that verse 23:00 could very well be a mistranslation. 23:03 Some translations actually read in the past tense 23:06 meaning: "Behold the man who was as one of us. " 23:12 Remember: when God made man He made him 23:15 in His image and in His likeness 23:17 meaning he was like God. 23:20 But now when they have sinned they no longer have the mind 23:24 of God, and what God is basically saying here 23:26 is: "Behold, what has become of the one who was once like us? " 23:32 "He is no longer like us. " 23:35 When man was made in the image of God 23:38 he had dominion over the beast. 23:41 But now when man is no longer in the image of God 23:45 he now reflects the image... 23:57 I want you to think with me. 24:01 Cain. 24:04 Did Cain go beast mode? 24:10 Somebody got that late but they got it. 24:12 Amen. 24:14 Cain went beast mode 24:16 meaning his character - the character of man - 24:20 who was once in the image of God 24:22 when they stepped out of the image and likeness of God 24:24 they went beast mode. 24:26 Think about the flood. 24:29 Were men acting more like beasts? Yes. 24:32 How many of you remember the story where 24:36 Joseph was sold by his brothers? 24:40 And remember what they did? 24:42 They took his coat and they dipped it in blood. 24:45 And remember the excuse they came up with? 24:48 They said: "Come, let us tell our father 24:51 that some wild beast has devoured... " 24:53 Now they thought they were lying. 25:05 They were not lying. 25:08 They were the beast. 25:11 They were the ones that... 25:14 How many follow what I'm saying? 25:15 Amen! They were the beast. They were not lying. 25:19 So I want you to begin to get this now. 25:21 Do you remember Nebuchadnezzar? 25:23 You remember what happened to him? 25:26 He became a beast! 25:29 When man decides to lift himself against God 25:33 to do his own will what God is saying is 25:35 "You have gone into beast mode. " 25:41 Now, now... it becomes no wonder then 25:44 that when we get to the book of Daniel 25:46 we see the kingdoms of men 25:49 being described as beasts. 25:54 A lion... a lion represent ferocity. 26:00 A bear... it devours much flesh. 26:04 A leopard... it's camouflage. 26:07 A dragon... it bruises and breaks in pieces. 26:10 Beloved, I want you to understand 26:12 that when man is no longer reflecting the image of God 26:16 what happens to nations is that they begin to reflect 26:20 the image of the beasts. 26:26 Understand what I'm saying, beloved, because 26:28 I'm going to bring this home a little bit closer to us. 26:31 Do you know any Christians 26:38 that are camouflaged? 26:43 That devour much flesh? 26:45 You know, feed on people. "Hey, did you hear? 26:48 Sister So-and-So. What? Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah! " 26:52 Beloved, the characteristics of these beasts 26:56 are a reflection of the charac- teristics of the human heart 27:01 that is not submitted to the will of God. 27:07 Beast mode. Many of us in here tonight are in beast mode. 27:16 Beloved, I want you to understand that the end result 27:19 of the kingdoms of men becoming the kingdoms of beasts, 27:22 the end result of man giving over dominion to the beast, 27:26 is this: we go to the book of Revelation 27:28 and guess what we find? We find three beasts. 27:33 One from the sea... Y'all are not feeling it. 27:37 No, no, no, no, no... I'm just going to give you some time. 27:42 one from the earth, 27:46 one from the air. 27:50 The dragon, the beast, the false prophet. 27:53 Beloved, listen to me: this is the end result 27:56 of man not reflecting the image and likeness of God. 28:04 Let me talk to you for a moment about two beasts in particular 28:09 and I want you to understand something. 28:11 You see, the Bible says that "by beholding we become changed. " 28:17 So how do you think the devil's trying to get you 28:19 into beast mode? By beholding beasts. 28:27 OK. 28:29 There are two beasts that are described in the book 28:30 of Revelation chapter 11 and chapter 13. 28:33 One of those beasts is called 28:35 the beast from the bottomless pit. 28:38 How many of you are familiar what that beast represents? 28:41 That beast represents atheism. 28:43 It is from the French Revolution. 28:45 How many of you are familiar with that now? 28:46 Yeah. Bible prophecy students. 28:48 French Revolution; late 1700's. 28:51 This is described as the beast rising out of the bottomless 28:54 pit. Now what was particular about the French Revolution? 28:57 Well, the French Revolution very interestingly... 28:59 very interesting. The French Revolution is where a term was 29:03 first introduced, and that term - listen carefully - is 29:06 the term left and right. 29:13 Hold on, guys... listen carefully: 29:16 those who were against the king and against the church 29:19 sat on the left. 29:24 They were what you might call progressive. 29:37 They were for all kinds of different rights 29:41 and different things of this nature. 29:42 But, but... one very important thing: 29:44 they rejected the God of the Bible. 29:47 "We want nothing to do with God. " 29:50 So that's how the Reign of Terror came about 29:53 and the whole banishing of the Bible for a certain period 29:56 of time... all this is what hap- pened in the French Revolution. 29:59 This is the beast from the bottomless pit. 30:02 And beloved, let me tell you: when we in the church 30:04 begin to behold that beast and the things about that beast 30:08 and we begin to admire that beast 30:10 what begins to happen is the church begins to become 30:13 affected... let me say INFECTED. 30:19 But there is another beast. 30:21 This one is found in Revelation 13. 30:23 This beast has the horns of a lamb 30:27 but speaks like a dragon. 30:31 That was another revolution that took place 30:34 just about the same time. And that revolution was 30:36 called the American Revolution. We're talking about the U.S.A. 30:42 Horns of a lamb. "You look like a lamb 30:49 but when you go to be petted you roar like a dragon. " 30:54 Do you know people who look like lambs? 30:59 Coming to church: "Happy Sabbath! " And they roar at you 31:02 "Roar! " And it scares you to death, doesn't it? 31:06 Because you expect a lamb to "baa, baa. " 31:09 But they don't "baa... " they "roar. " 31:11 And you're like: "Whoa! If that's what a Christian is... " 31:14 What? "I don't want anything to do with it. " 31:17 Beloved, many of us are walking around 31:19 with the horns of a lamb but speaking like a dragon. 31:25 And beloved, listen to me: in our nation today 31:28 our nation is reflecting more and more... 31:31 I'm going to say something that might be... Listen to me: 31:34 do you know that the reason that our pioneers taught 31:37 that America was the beast with the horns of a lamb 31:41 and spake as a dragon... Do you know that the reason 31:43 they taught that was because of one reason 31:45 and that reason was slavery. 31:50 Absolutely. You go check it out in the writings of Sr. White. 31:53 You go check it out in the writings of Bro. White, 31:55 of Uriah Smith. They all agreed that 31:57 any nation that could claim Christianity 32:01 and yet sell the souls of men 32:03 was a beast that looked like a lamb 32:05 but spoke like a dragon. 32:09 Beloved, the point is this: 32:11 that beast is still alive today 32:15 and Christianity in America is turning many people off 32:19 from God. You see the devil wears two masks. 32:25 Let me say this: the devil uses two beasts. 32:28 He doesn't care which beast you... Choose your beast! 32:31 "Oh, you like this beast better? Choose your beast. " 32:34 Because what happens is that by beholding the beast 32:37 we become like the beast. 32:41 And beloved, what I'm trying to tell you tonight 32:43 is that you and I as God's people need to stop beholding 32:47 beasts and start looking to Jesus. Amen! 32:51 Because by beholding, beloved, we become changed. 32:57 Listen: America is beautiful and praise God 33:01 but listen carefully guys: 33:03 it was hypernationalism that put Jesus to death. 33:08 Did you catch what I just said? 33:10 "It is expedient for us that one man perish 33:13 in order to save our nation. " 33:17 Beloved, listen to me: Jesus Christ must be our first 33:21 and foremost love. Amen. 33:24 In fact, while there is bad news that Satan has an image to the 33:29 beast there is good news that there is an image of God. 33:33 And the image of God is Jesus Christ. Amen! 33:36 And so, beloved, listen to me: God sent His Son 33:39 who is His express image into the world 33:42 so that we could behold Him and be changed 33:46 from beast back into the image of God. 33:49 Amen! He knew He was coming to a world of beasts. 33:55 He was born in a manger 34:01 among animals. 34:05 He was born in a manger. It's almost as if He was saying 34:09 "Look, I know I'm coming to a world of beasts 34:11 but I love these beasts. " 34:15 "I came to die for these people who are acting like animals 34:19 who are acting out of My character. 34:21 I came to die that they might have another chance 34:24 to reflect the image of God not the image of the beast. " 34:28 By beholding, beloved, we become what? 34:31 Changed. You see, Jesus Christ was "beast proof. " 34:36 How many of you would like to be beast proof? 34:40 Beloved, you have to be beast proof because... The law of God 36:24 was inside the temple. 36:28 And when the law of God was inside the temple 36:31 man reflected His image. 36:33 But what happened was that sin broke the law. 36:38 Sin broke the temple. 36:40 And so Jesus said: "I'm going to get... " 36:43 When Jesus came to this world the Bible says 36:45 of Him that He was the sanctuary. Yes? 36:49 That means that the temple is a template of Jesus. 36:57 No, no, no, no... you didn't get that... 37:00 The temple is a template of Jesus! 37:04 Meaning if the mind of Christ is to be in us 37:08 then what God is trying to show us in the temple 37:10 is "this is how you get the mind of Christ. How many of you 37:52 would like your beast to be slain? 37:54 Guess where you've gotta go? 37:56 You've gotta go to the sanctuary. 37:58 Because it's in the sanctuary, beloved, at the altar 38:00 of sacrifice where the beast was slain and at the laver 38:04 where your sins are washed away. 38:07 And the table of shewbread where you begin to focus on 38:10 the Word of God instead of focusing on your own word 38:14 and your own will. And the altar of incense 38:15 where you learn how to pray instead of learning how to prey. 38:24 And the candlestick, where you begin to have passion for 38:27 the Word of God and you have vision for God's vision 38:31 and the ark of the covenant where the law of love 38:34 becomes written on your mind. And so what God is saying 38:36 is that "As you go through the sanctuary 38:39 I will remake you into My image and into My likeness. " 38:45 These articles of furniture rep- resent the very mind of Christ. 38:50 The altar of sacrifice points to His humility in His death. 38:54 The laver points to His forgiveness. 38:56 The table of shewbread points to His truth. 38:59 The altar of incense points to His focus. 39:02 "I will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is... " What? 39:04 "stayed on Thee. " 39:05 The candlestick to His vision and the law of God to His love. 39:09 In other words, the sanctuary is a picture of the mind of Christ. 39:15 Amen! And every time you focus on "Altar of sacrifice. 39:20 Man, someone cursed me out today and I want to do this 39:22 but, Lord, altar of sacrifice... altar of sacrifice... 39:26 altar of sacrifice. " 39:28 OK... ah... laughter. 39:32 Yeah! You're learning how to change your thoughts 39:35 Thy way. Have you ever heard of neuroplasticity? 39:42 How you can create new pathways in your mind. 39:46 The sanctuary, beloved, is God's neuroplasticity program 39:51 where as you learn to think through these articles 39:54 of furniture it actually changes the way you think 39:58 and you stop thinking in beast mode and you start thinking 40:01 in Christ mode. And beloved, when you do this 40:05 over and over again - when you do this continually - 40:08 when you do this Tamid... 40:10 Anybody know what the word Tamid means? 40:12 Yeah, it's that prophetic word that we use in Daniel 40:16 to talk about the articles of furniture in the sanctuary. 40:18 How the priest would operate at these articles daily. 40:20 Listen to me, beloved: these articles of furniture 40:23 must be operating daily in our mind. 40:27 Because when we learn to make them operate daily 40:30 what begins to happen is it begins to be written. 40:34 Y'all are not feeling me... bad. 40:36 It is now written in your mind. 40:39 and something called automaticity takes place 40:41 which is when you do something so much 40:44 it becomes automatic; it becomes second-nature. 40:47 You don't even think about it any more. 40:49 It is reflex. Is that a good word? 41:37 Sealed - so written here - that there is no way 41:42 that the devil can put doubt in my mind. 41:46 Remember what he did with Eve. 41:48 With Adam. " Who? 42:20 "dragon and out of the mouth of the... " Who? 42:22 "beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 42:25 For they are the spirits of... " What? "devils 42:28 working... " What everyone? "miracles which go forth 42:31 unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world 42:33 to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. " 42:36 So here you have three unclean spirits coming out of the mouth 42:39 of the beast, the dragon, and the false messenger. 42:42 Did you hear what I said? 42:44 If you were to translate this, this would be the beast 42:47 from the sea, the beast from the earth, 42:49 and the dragon... the prince of the air. Amen? 42:52 So the question is: how is it that these beasts 42:56 are going to attempt to try to deceive God's people? 43:00 Well... let me explain. 43:02 Why does the Bible use frogs in this verse? 43:06 Three unclean spirits like frogs. Listen carefully: 43:10 How many of you remember where else frogs were used 43:12 in the Bible? You know... Egypt! 43:15 Right? It's the story of Egypt. 43:16 And you remember when Moses is performing these miracles 43:19 he turns water into what? Into blood. 43:22 And then the Egyptian magicians did what? 43:26 They counterfeited it. 43:28 And then he threw down his rod and it turned to a serpent. 43:32 And the Egyptian magicians... what did they do? 43:34 They counterfeited it. 43:35 And then he brought up frogs and what did the Egyptian 43:38 magicians do? They counterfeited it. 43:41 Listen carefully, guys: 43:42 it was the last counterfeit they could do. 43:51 It was the final counterfeit that they could pull off. 43:56 So the reason the book of Revelation is using these 44:00 frogs to represent these unclean spirits 44:02 that go out to perform miracles is that it's trying to tell us 44:06 that this is going to be Satan's final deception. 44:12 And this is the deception that has to deal with counterfeiting. 44:18 With what, everyone? Counterfeiting. 44:22 How many of you remember the parable of the ten virgins? 44:26 Five were wise and five were foolish. 44:29 They all slept. 44:31 Listen, guys: they all slept and something woke them up. 44:36 What was it that woke them up? When did they wake up? 44:38 Let me ask that: when did they wake up? 44:40 Midnight. Midnight is the darkest hour of the night. 44:45 So what the Bible is telling us here is that there is going to 44:48 be an event... an event that may be described as 44:53 the time of trouble such as never was. 44:55 It is the darkest hour of earth's history. 45:00 Something that wakes up both the wise and the foolish virgins. 45:06 And you've gotta follow this because I need you to go with me 45:08 to Daniel chapter 12 verses 1 and 2. 45:11 We're going back to the book of Daniel 45:12 and you guys know what happens there. 45:14 Daniel 12:1-2, the Bible says: "And at that time shall... " 45:18 What? "Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth 45:21 for the children of His people and there will be a time 45:23 of... " What? "trouble such as never was. " 45:25 And then it goes on to speak about the resurrection. 45:27 Now Michael standing up. What does that signify? 45:30 What's about to happen? 45:32 Jesus is about to come! 45:36 And when He comes, what happens to the dead? 45:39 They are raised again to life! 45:41 Amen. So Jesus comes and the dead are? Raised. Amen! 45:46 So what leads to Daniel 12:1-2? 45:51 Well the answer is Daniel 11 verse 40. 45:55 Come there with me. 45:57 Daniel 11 verse 40... Daniel chapter 11 verse 40. 46:01 And I want you to notice what the Bible says here. 46:05 Daniel chapter 11 verse 40 the Bible says... 46:11 Here we go... the Bible says: "And at the time of the end 46:16 shall the king of the south push at him. " Now let me just 46:19 pause right here. I know I'm juicing a lot of this down 46:22 for you, but just: Salvation in Signs & Symbols 46:25 is about to release our Daniel study. Amen! 46:28 So if I'm going too fast here 46:30 just look out for it in a few weeks and months. 46:32 Amen. Plug, plug, plugging, see? OK. 46:35 All right. So, the king of the south in this particular verse 46:40 represents atheism. 46:43 It represents agnosticism and you know that that is 46:46 very heavy in the world today, right? 46:48 There are a lot of people who don't believe in God 46:49 and blah, blah, blah... right? But notice what happens 46:51 to the king of the south. The Bible says... 46:53 continues to say in verse 40: 46:56 "At the time of the end the king of the south shall push at him 46:59 and the king of the north shall come against him 47:01 like a whirlwind with chariots and with horsemen 47:04 and with many ships. " So the Bible is telling us here 47:07 that the king of the north is going to end up defeating 47:10 the king of the south. 47:13 So the question is: who is the king of the north? 47:15 And many of us believe we know who he is. 47:17 It's the same power as the little horn. 47:19 But beloved, it's a little bit more complicated than that. 47:22 'Cause I need you to see something here. 47:25 How did the king of the north come against the king of the 47:27 south to defeat him? 47:28 With what? Chariots, ships, whirlwind, horsemen. Right? 47:34 Do you now that there's another verse in the Bible 47:36 almost identical to this? 47:39 Come. Isaiah chapter 65, and I'm just going to read it 47:43 in your hearing. Isaiah 65 verse 15. 47:45 Check this out, guys: "For behold 47:47 the Lord will come with fire and with His chariots 47:51 like a whirlwind... " Stop, stop. 47:56 How is the Lord coming? 47:58 With chariots and what? Fire and a whirlwind. 48:03 Does that sound similar to this king of the north 48:06 how he comes? 48:10 Let me ask you a question: 48:12 what do you think is the only thing that can defeat atheism? 48:16 Like totally just wipe it out? 48:18 For an atheist seeing is believing. 48:24 Y'all are not catching me now. 48:27 For an atheist, seeing is believing. Amen! 48:54 So who is this other king of the north that comes like 48:57 a whirlwind with chariots and fire and basically 49:01 wipes out atheism? 49:05 It is the counterfeit coming of Satan himself. 49:10 Beloved, please listen to me: 49:16 the papacy is to Satan 49:20 what John the Baptist was to Jesus. Why? Don't claim in the name of Jesus. 55:11 Stop having enemy... 55:14 Stop acting like a beast, like a dragon, 55:18 that looks like a lamb but is speaking like the devil. 55:24 Beloved, it is not good enough to claim that you know 55:27 Bible prophecy and you under- stand what's going to happen 55:30 and yet your character has not been transformed. 55:37 Act like Jesus. 55:39 Think like Jesus. 55:41 Talk like Jesus. 55:43 Because, beloved, a time is coming where he that is filthy 55:46 will have to be filthy still 55:48 and he that is righteous will be righteous still. 55:50 And if you have not prepared for the marathon 55:52 before the marathon hits 55:54 you will be like those five foolish virgins 55:58 who knocked saying: "Open up to us; open up to us. " 56:01 And Jesus will say: "I never knew you... 56:04 depart from Me. " 56:10 So I have one minute to make an appeal. 56:15 My appeal is very simple tonight: 56:18 "Lord, I need to slay this beast. " 56:22 "I need to slay this beast. " 56:25 "I need this beast out of my heart and I need to go 56:29 into Your sanctuary. It is a changing room. 56:31 So Lord, I'm inviting You into my heart now. " 56:35 "Slay this beast, because if I don't beat the beast here 56:38 I will have no chance against the beast there. 56:40 He will create enough doubt in my mind 56:43 through what I see that I will doubt the Word 56:46 just like he was able to create doubt in the minds of Adam 56:48 and Eve.
