00:09 Who Was Jesus. 00:12 He had compassion for the weak and the hurting. 00:15 [MUSIC] 00:16 He loved every person He met and taught them how to love. 00:20 [MUSIC] 00:21 His great heart helped all those who came near Him. 00:24 But most of all He was a friend. 00:27 That was who He was. Now find out who He is. 00:32 [MUSIC] 00:40 Hello and welcome to 3ABN summer camp meeting. I almost 00:43 want to say spring camera kind of on the edge there. But a 00:46 welcome to this wonderful event. We've been looking forward to 00:49 spending this time with you for a long time. It's really 00:53 incredible isn't it Mister Danny, you think about right here 00:55 headquarters at 3ABN in a little town Thompsonville or 00:58 West Frankfort is our address and we can reach the entire world. 01:02 So Corvid's not stopping us, right? Absolutely. 01:05 in fact, Jesus says, as go ye into all the world. 01:08 Right. Count it as resources and advances doctor 01:11 Thompson used to say and found that He's not wanting. So when 01:14 He says going and all the world. No matter what, we can. When we 01:17 come in the name of Jesus. Amen! No, it's absolutely incredible 01:20 because We wish that you were here in person. But we're 01:24 so glad that we can join you live at home or maybe 01:27 you're listening on 3ABN radio. 01:29 What a great time this is going to be 3ABN summer 01:32 camp meeting and what an incredible theme Who is Jesus 01:35 what a beautiful open to that we just saw, talking about the 01:38 life of Jesus and and Him being there is a friend to others. 01:42 But what a great title Who is Jesus. Amen. I love that theme. 01:46 The theme of who is Jesus. I was just reading this morning 01:49 in my devotions, Matthew chapter 16. And you know that 01:53 passage. This is Jesus with His disciples, He's in Caesarea 01:56 Philippi, I and He says who do men say that I am? And they, 02:00 of course give the common answers of the day. You're 02:03 Jeremiah your Elijah you might be John the Baptist. But then 02:07 He makes a personal and He says, but who do you say that I am? 02:12 And Peter, of course, the first to speak says you are the 02:16 Christ, the Son of the living God. So this entire theme Who is 02:21 Jesus! I don't know if you can see the words behind me. These 02:24 are some of the names of God, the names of Jesus and you could 02:29 think Who is Jesus! Jesus is 02:32 friend. That's fabulous. But is He your friend? 02:35 Jesus is redeemer. 02:38 But has He redeemed you. Jesus is a sustainer. But does 02:44 He sustain you? Who is Jesus to you? You know, every time we 02:49 come to a camp meeting. I always go before the Lord in prayer 02:53 before we start and I say God, what do you want me to learn this 02:56 particular camp meeting and what image of You, what picture of 03:02 who or God is. Do you want to reveal to me even more clearly. 03:08 And that's what I'm excited about this camp meeting 03:10 because we discover who is Jesus to you. Amen! Praise the Lord! 03:15 Doctor Yvonne, I know that this team means 03:17 something to you, too, because you wrote a beautiful book 03:19 called The Glimpses of His Glory Yes. Right. And so I know this 03:22 theme who is Jesus means a lot to you as well. 03:24 It does because every name of God that's listed in Scripture 03:31 demonstrates an attribute of His character. And so with each name 03:36 we get to know, we get glimpses of His glory because we 03:40 get to we just get a little bit more on a little bit more. 03:44 And it just creates this beautiful tapestry. Yeah. 03:47 Of who God is and then who He is to us, is He our savior. You 03:52 know, Jilly was saying is He our Redeemer our goelle? 03:55 We get to know more and more about Him through His names and 04:00 titles, so I'm excited. Jesus said I've if I be lifted up, I 04:05 will draw all men unto to me. So I'm believing that this camp 04:09 meeting we are going to be drawn to Jesus in a whole new 04:12 way. And I'm just so thankful to be here and to be a part 04:16 of this. Yeah. We're going to have a number of speakers 04:20 and singers. Can we talk to the folk 04:22 and give them a little bit of... Absolutely. 04:24 what's going to be happening. Jill's got the list. 04:25 I got my cheat sheet here this is my cheat sheet. 04:29 So tonight after the music we are going to hear from 04:32 pastor James Rafferty, an anointed man of God speaking on 04:35 The Eternal God. Then we're going to hear from pastor John 04:39 Dinzey His Government of Love 04:41 and I won't give you the rest of the titles. But we're going to 04:44 hear from pastor Ryan Day and our own Shelley Quinn. Pastor 04:48 David Shin pastor Wintley Phipps, pastor Kenny Shelton and 04:52 Danny preaching for church. Christopher Hudson, Kameron 04:55 Devasher, Steve Wholberg, 04:57 So we have pastor John Lomacang. We have 04:59 an amazing lineup of speakers and we're taking your questions 05:05 every night we're going to have live questions and answers and 05:09 this will be available on the virtual side of the platform and 05:12 how do people access that? 05:13 You know, that's really neat. I just want to comment on the 05:15 virtual aspect. That's how we can actually still kind of 05:17 communicate with you. So we're looking forward to that after 05:20 each well not after each meeting at the end of the 05:22 3 hours each evening, right. 05:24 Nine pm Central every night. And what about Sabbath 05:25 School? We also doing a live Q and A with that? 05:28 We are doing live questions for Sabbath School as well, 05:30 OK, and the way that they can 05:32 actually tune in to the virtual aspect is going to 3ABN 05:34 camp meeting or is it our main website? 05:36 Both ways work. You can go to 3ABN camp meeting... 05:39 Good, I knew that Jill would know. 05:40 You know this is TV, So you ask me the question my mind's 05:43 running to see which website is it. 05:45 It's good, so both websites What are those? Both websites 05:47 is where you can go to 3abncamp meeting.com and all you have 05:51 to do is click there and they'll be link at the top. It says 05:55 register for 3ABN summer camp meeting. And that's all you have 05:58 to do or you can go to 3ABN's website and click on the watch 06:02 button. And you can register that way. Either way, works. 06:05 All you have to do is sign up and we would love to connect 06:09 with you. You can send in your questions and we'll be we'll be 06:12 answering them. Yeah. Amen. And that's the fun part of 06:14 camp meeting. Now Mister Danny 3ABN has 06:16 been all about focusing on truth since the very beginning, 06:19 right. Evangelism. You've always been telling Jill and myself, 06:22 don't deviate right. Stay to truth, stay to principle, stay 06:25 to what the word of God says. And there's an incredible 06:28 project that we're going to be telling you more about during 06:30 camp meeting it's called the focus on truth series 06:33 Mister Danny, give us just a little snippet 06:35 we're going to give more detail later on 06:36 about this exciting project. Okay. It's something we are 06:40 excited about. Yes, it's a series of books and we've done 3 06:43 already the first one is that they're all 06:47 focused on truth. Right. But the truth about hellfire. 06:51 OK. So there's a lot of miscon- ceptions, a lot of everybody 06:54 has their own opinion. But we really want to see what the 06:56 Bible says. That's right, then we have one Focus on the Truth of 07:00 the Ten Commandments. Yeah, everybody has their own focus on 07:03 that, where the nailed to the cross? are they still, does God 07:06 expect us to keep them all of this. We want to see what the 07:09 Bible says. It's not my opinion that counts is not your opinion 07:13 counts. And then we have one that's probably the toughest 07:16 book I've ever written. I've written several and that should 07:19 be the easiest. But it's on focus on truth of salvation 07:24 because within the Christian church, there's a tremendous 07:28 amount of controversy over something as simple as 07:31 salvation. It's a free gift. We all know that right. But 07:35 this free gift, how do we obtain it. Is it through works. Is that 07:38 through grace. Is that through faith. What about righteousness 07:41 by faith. How does all of that fit and justification. Where 07:46 does this I mean, this can be really confusing. And when you 07:49 hear so I went on you to give me. I went on YouTube and 07:53 started listening to different preachers 07:56 and I was amazed as the Lord. We help me to go to the Bible 07:59 goes the word and find out the truth about salvation. The truth 08:03 is it is a free gift from the Lord Jesus Christ. We can't do 08:07 anything to earn it. All we have to do is accept him confess 08:10 their sins realize that we are sinners and then come to Him 08:14 and He's faithful and just to forgive us from our sins and to cleanse us 08:17 from all and righteousness. But we go through a process of 08:21 how did sin even enter into the world? How could God create a 08:24 perfect creation and then Satan turn and then cause war in heaven 08:29 and then come to the Garden of Eden tempt, Adam and Eve. 08:32 Why did God even create them to begin with. If they knew they 08:36 were going to sin and so we try to answer all of those 08:39 questions. So it's going to be 3 little books in a series that 08:43 we intend to is people want we'll be able to send all 3 of 08:46 them to zip codes and hopefully for a fraction of the price may 08:50 be somewhere around the cost of 2 stamps. So that would be the 08:52 books all 3 books and shipping them out because 08:57 we've already had people who have donated quite a bit of money 09:00 in order to make this. So we're actually doing almost 2 million 09:03 books to begin with. And so what they can go to 09:07 the website. I guess Jill and find out about it. That's right. 09:10 You can go to our Web site right now. That's 3ABN.TV. 09:14 And you can get more information, you might say I 09:16 want to sponsor a zip code in my area and they'll be information 09:21 there for how you can do that or you might say I want to 09:25 order a case. So there's 2 ways that you can get these 09:27 incredible evangelistic booklets one is by sponsoring zip code 09:32 and 3 of these booklets will be mailed to individual homes or 09:36 you can order them by the case and you can be the evangelist 09:40 and you can go door to door and pass them out. So either way. 09:44 It's an amazing evangelistic opportunity that we're just 09:47 doing tonight and Pacific press beginning tonight are working 09:50 with the civic press. They did an incredible job didn't off. 09:53 They did. And thank you for your work because. 09:55 Well, I wrote them. She really helped a lot and has done 09:58 a tremendous amount of editing and correcting and so team. 10:01 You're a great team, yeah, she's she's great to work with. 10:06 things praise the Lord. Thank you. One of the things that I 10:08 love about the series is that 10:10 it's you know, it's very scripturally based and it's 10:13 also common sense. 10:15 A lot of it is common sense. And that's you 10:18 know, that's how you think, which is really great. 10:21 Really. It's got a lot of it is scriptural. It's 10:28 scriptural was not your opinion. But then you ask certain 10:31 questions and you answer those questions using the Bible. 10:35 And so it's not your opinion, but it's just really, really on 10:39 time. And I really believe it's going to be a blessing to so 10:42 many people because it is covering topics that are really 10:47 controversial that that people just might not know the truth 10:50 about so... 10:52 And they're important on so. Yes, we want to get the message 10:54 out, this is one of the ways we can do it. Yeah. We've seen some 10:57 of the well as they get ready, go to press and that just 11:00 beautiful book was 48 pages. Each one of the little booklets, 11:03 beautiful illustrations on the inside, full color throughout. 11:06 And what's unique 3ABN has never done this before. We're actually 11:09 packaging. All 3, all 3 topics they talked about in like a 11:12 little shrink wrap and it will be sent to zip codes that way. 11:14 So it's really neat. This is a first time for 3ABN but 11:17 what a beautiful evangelistic tool at the very end of each 11:20 booklet just at the closing last page, right. We're putting all 11:23 of the ways you can watch 3ABN. So as these go into 11:26 people's homes, they have the opportunity to say, wow, I want 11:29 to know more information and right there they can find out 11:31 ways of watching 3ABN and learning more truth. Absolutely. 11:35 One of the ways the most effective ways that I know 11:38 to reach people is through music. Amen! And I love doing 11:42 these music hours. And so I don't think we want to take any 11:45 more time in this opening but what privilege to introduce the 11:49 Lanny Wolfe Trio glad that Lanny, Marietta and Lori's here and 11:54 Lanny and Lori and Marietta it's always great to have you 11:58 all here and be here and incredible. Lanny, I don't mind 12:02 saying this publicly, I have for years, to my favorite song 12:05 writer of all time. I like a lot of music and a lot of songs that 12:09 have had to pick a songwriter that has blessed me. Now 12:12 everybody has their own, you know, people in their own 12:16 writers but Lanny Wolfe has an anointing of the Holy spirit is 12:19 on him songs that he has written has been life changing 12:22 my life and I know millions around the world. So thank you. 12:26 We're so glad that you're here to participate and the minister 12:30 here at 3ABN camp meeting. 12:32 [MUSIC] 12:42 It feels so good. 12:45 Just being here again 12:49 it feels so good feeling what I feel again. 12:55 There's just nothing I like better 12:59 than God's children gettin together. He's going to go all the way through 28:16 everything with us and so is everything you can give Him 28:21 thanks whether it's good or bad His way as always, the best. 28:27 Thank you. 28:29 [MUSIC] 28:34 With all the good things. 28:37 That had come His way 28:40 it's no wonder you hear Job say. 28:48 The Lord giveth 28:50 and He taketh away. 28:54 I'll give him praise. 29:01 But when the tables. 29:04 We're all turned around 29:08 and Job's world came crashing down. 29:14 His faith in God. 29:17 caused Job to say 29:20 I'll still give Him thanks. 29:25 In the good times, praise His name, 29:33 In the bad times, do the same. 29:40 In everything, He is the King of kings 29:54 When troubles come 29:59 and there's no one around, Satan tries to tell me 30:05 see God's let you down. 30:09 But in every dark hour the best thing I've found 30:15 is to give my God thanks, 30:18 thank you, Lord, I love you Jesus. 30:21 Halleluiah! For me.
