00:01 The hour is urgent as darkness is dispelled by the light of
00:07 God's Word. 00:08 A new day begins. 00:10 Jesus, the light of the world is shining. 00:13 Prepare your hearts to proclaim the final cry. 00:17 This is 3ABN Summer Camp Meeting. 00:24 Hello, and welcome to 3ABN Summer Camp Meeting 2025. 00:31 What a joy to be here. 00:32 Have you guys been blessed? 00:34 Amen. 00:35 The speakers, the singers, what a blessing this has been. 00:40 The Spirit of God is truly here. 00:43 So today I have the privilege of introducing a wonderful man 00:47 of God. 00:48 When I told him that he was introducing him, he said, I am 00:50 a man of God. 00:52 Just say I'm a husband and a father of two. 00:54 And I'm like, I have to say a little bit more than that. 00:59 So I want to only add that a couple of years ago, I had the 01:05 privilege of finding Pastor Goya on YouTube and his 01:11 teachings on prayer revolutionized my prayer life. 01:15 It has changed my prayer life forever. 01:19 So what a blessing it is for me to introduce him to you today. 01:24 You are going to truly be blessed. 01:27 After the lovely music ministry of Celestine Dickens, the next 01:31 voice you'll hear is that of Dr. Pavel Goya. 01:36 You will be blessed. 01:52 Come to my knees and pray. 02:00 Come, Jesus, come. 02:06 Let today be the day. 02:11 Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna break. 02:21 But I'm holding on to a hope that won't fade. 02:32 Come, Jesus, come. 02:37 We've been waiting so long. 02:41 For the day you return to heal every hurt and right every 02:50 wrong. 02:53 We need you right now. 02:58 Come and turn this around. 03:03 Deep down I know this world isn't home. 03:09 Come, Jesus, come. 03:15 There'll be no war and there'll be no shame when Jesus comes. 03:29 Let today be the day. 03:35 He'll come for the weak and the strong just the same. 03:46 And all will believe in the power of His name. 03:56 Come, Jesus, come. 04:02 We've been waiting so long. 04:07 For the day you return to heal every hurt and right every 04:14 wrong. 04:16 We need you right now. 04:23 Come and turn this around. 04:29 Deep down I know this world isn't home. 04:34 Come, Jesus, come. 04:38 Come, Jesus, come. 04:45 One day He'll come. 04:50 And worse than face to face. 04:55 Come on all, lay it all down. 04:59 Cause it might be today. 05:06 The time is right now. 05:11 There's no need to wait. 05:16 Your past will be washed to a river by grace. 05:27 Come, Jesus, come. 05:32 We've been waiting so long. 05:37 For the day you return to heal every hurt and right every 05:44 wrong. 05:47 We need you right now. 05:53 Come and turn this around. 05:59 Deep down I know this world isn't home. 06:04 Come, Jesus, come. 06:07 Come, Jesus, come. 06:14 Come, Jesus, come. 06:30 Are 06:36 you ready to study? 06:39 Hallelujah! 06:43 Jesus is coming soon. 06:46 So let me ask you a question before we pray and start. 06:51 Are you transformed? 06:56 Because we have listened a million sermons. 06:59 And we go home after another one. 07:02 And what is the change? 07:03 Because if there is no change, why listen to another sermon? 07:07 What's the point? 07:08 Just because you like it? 07:09 It's fun. 07:14 Because if we are not doers, we lose our time. 07:18 We fool ourselves. 07:19 Hey, what Christians, you know, we go to church, we sing 07:22 Kumbaya, we lose our time. 07:25 Jesus is coming and we must be ready. 07:30 Because our eternity is at stake. 07:34 Let's pray together. 07:36 Father in heaven, how can we? 07:41 How can we prepare? 07:43 How can we grow? 07:45 How can we really change our heart? 07:50 We can change our external behavior at times, but only you 07:54 can change our nature. 07:57 How can we prepare, Lord? 08:00 It's only you that can do that. 08:02 We ask for your Holy Spirit right now in Jesus' name. 08:06 Amen. 08:08 I'm torn between two subjects that I believe, well, there are 08:12 eight in the series, but two of them I believe that are 08:15 absolutely, absolutely essential. 08:19 One of them that I believe is the foundation is that if I had 08:22 another one hour, you know, another seven actually, but 08:25 anyway, one of them is the foundation of everything in the 08:29 spiritual life. 08:30 Literally, you don't get that one. 08:32 You don't get anything. 08:33 Literally, because we talk about to know God. 08:37 What is eternal life? 08:40 To know God, to know God. 08:43 We talk about that, but we really have no clue what that 08:45 means. 08:46 I myself either. 08:48 No understanding. 08:50 The spirit of prophecy says that if we could see God for a 08:52 second, we'd be ashamed of ourselves. 08:56 We would never doubt him again. 08:58 Angels wonder, how can we doubt God? 09:02 In eternity, we'll never understand a drop of his love. 09:05 It will be the science of eternity. 09:09 And we talk about knowing God. 09:10 The disciples spent three years and a half with him, day and 09:14 night walking with him, eating with him, sleeping at the same 09:16 spot, watching him day and night, three years and a half, 09:19 and they still didn't know him. 09:20 And they had no clue. 09:22 Basically, Jesus told them a million times, I will die. 09:25 And when he died, they were like, Whoa, we didn't expect 09:27 that. 09:28 We never heard that. 09:31 People have filters. 09:32 They hear what they want to hear. 09:33 Like in politics, they understand what they want to 09:35 answer. 09:40 And we think we hear the gospel, go home and practice. 09:43 We hear what we think we hear, not what actually God is trying 09:46 to tell us. 09:48 And then we think we are OK and we don't even know how we are. 09:51 We are blind and we don't know that we are blind. 09:55 And it is something to be outside the church and not 09:57 know. 10:01 know and not practice and not experience it. 10:07 How do you experience lasting transformation? 10:12 Real transformation, real preparation, real growth. 10:16 How do you grow the individual? 10:17 How do you grow the family? 10:19 How do you grow the church? 10:21 And we work through this and that. 10:24 If you do this and if you do that, we plan revival. 10:27 Nothing wrong with that. 10:28 But revival you cannot plan. 10:31 It's the Holy Spirit who does revival. 10:34 If you do step one, two, three, four, let's right now we meet 10:38 for four hours and have more meeting to plan revival. 10:44 Never in the history a revival happened without serious 10:48 prayer. 10:49 When people get together and pray, revival happens. 10:53 But yet, how many people do you see in the prayer room? 10:57 You understand what I am talking about? 10:59 Because you are a little quiet right now. 11:03 So how do you experience lasting change? 11:05 One subject has to do with to know God. 11:08 Because if we really understood a drop, a drop of how God is, 11:13 it would change everything. 11:14 It would give us absolute peace, absolute joy, absolute 11:17 assurance. 11:18 We would pray with a different perspective in mind. 11:21 We would go joyfully in His presence if we knew God. 11:24 We would not go with doubt and leaving prayer without even 11:28 knowing if He answered unsecured. 11:30 To know God, it would give us joy and power in the preaching 11:34 of the Gospel. 11:36 How can you tell them to experience it if you have not 11:39 experienced it? 11:40 Jesus says you are my witnesses. 11:43 I've never in my life seen a witness in the court of law 11:47 that would say, Jimmy told John, John told Mary, Mary told 11:50 me, and I am a witness. 11:53 To be a witness, you need to have witnessed. 11:57 That's the reason John says what we have seen, that's what 12:01 we tell. 12:02 You need to see it and experience it in order to tell 12:05 it. 12:06 You understand? 12:09 You cannot witness successfully before you experience it. 12:15 I remember we were in College Day 30 years ago when we came 12:17 to this country. 12:18 We were in Southern Adventist University and in Romania we 12:22 used to, and I am not going to go into that story, we used to 12:24 have a business, in fact several businesses, and then we 12:28 gave up the business to be in ministry because the church 12:30 called us. 12:31 And then we came to this country to go to school and 12:36 when we were in school we dropped income-wise from 12:40 business to pastor, from pastor to student. 12:42 You understand what I say? 12:45 And when you are used to be here it's a little challenging 12:47 to be here. 12:48 And so when we came we had no English. 12:51 I mean yes, I did speak but more with my hands than my 12:54 mouth. 12:56 hands. 13:00 No English, no insurance, I mean a little English, a few 13:03 words. 13:03 No insurance, no work permit. 13:06 You understand, you get the picture. 13:08 My wife worked three jobs a day. 13:11 In the morning she would clean for an old lady, in the 13:15 afternoon for an old man, and then in the night she would 13:20 clean a house for somebody else. 13:22 She worked three jobs. 13:23 I took three years and a half in one and had two jobs. 13:28 It sounds easy but I tell you it's not easy, it's killing. 13:32 And during the night I would learn on my physically, 13:37 literally on my knees. 13:40 Read one word and then go to the dictionary to see what that 13:43 means in English. 13:44 And then pray, Lord give me wisdom to learn this crazy 13:47 language. 13:49 No offense, it is. 13:51 You write in a way and read in a different way and then some 13:54 words you write the same and read differently. 13:57 It's nonsense, sorry. 14:00 And people in Southern, when they talk, they swallow half of 14:04 the words. 14:05 It's like, whoa, what are they saying? 14:08 And so I, Lord you need to help me to get English, you know. 14:12 Praying and having no food. 14:14 And you know my wife can go three weeks without food. 14:17 I can go four hours, that's it. 14:21 It was not easy. 14:23 And then you pray and God doesn't answer. 14:26 Did it ever happen to you? 14:29 God doesn't seem to answer and we know. 14:32 She says to every honest prayer an answer will come. 14:40 Where is the answer? 14:41 I mean Abraham, 25 years for an answer? 14:46 How many of you can wait or are happy to wait 25 years to get 14:49 an answer to prayer? 14:54 And so we prayed and God knows what we need and when we need 14:58 it. 15:01 purpose of the plan that he has for us, we would choose the 15:03 same path. 15:05 You understand? 15:06 If we knew the big picture, if we see the heavenly picture, 15:09 not the day to day picture. 15:12 You understand? 15:13 And so we prayed and nothing happened. 15:16 And in all that picture, if you think about it, it was 15:21 challenging to survive from day to day. 15:25 And that's how we do. 15:26 We see today. 15:28 We don't see the eternal picture and we think that 15:32 doesn't care. 15:33 But did it ever happen to you? 15:35 You look back 10 years ago and you say, actually that trial, 15:39 it was for my benefit. 15:41 Because looking back, all that hot temper, short fuse, anger, 15:48 pride, ambition, stubbornness, all that started to diminish 15:53 through that experience. 15:54 You understand? 15:58 business, to I am nobody. 16:00 I cannot even talk. 16:03 And by the way, some people, when you don't understand, they 16:06 come close to your mouth and they scream, hoping that if 16:08 they talk loud, you understand better English, you know. 16:12 That's offensive. 16:14 But anyway, and so in all that picture, we had to learn to 16:21 humble ourselves. 16:22 We had no choice because before God can use you, he has to 16:25 break you. 16:26 As long as you are somebody, God is nobody. 16:29 And you need to become nobody and to the degree that you die 16:32 to self, to that very specific degree, God can lead your life. 16:36 He will never be able to work in your life, to grow you, to 16:40 develop you, to prepare you and to use you before you die to 16:42 self. 16:46 control. 16:47 By the way, this is not yet the subject, unfortunately. 16:50 There is nothing God can do for you and for me. 16:54 And it's easy to keep sabbath. 16:56 Lazy people enjoy keeping every day. 17:00 But it's extremely difficult to die to self and to die to 17:06 control. 17:07 We like to control ourselves and control everybody around 17:10 us. 17:12 And God wants us to die. 17:15 And Paul says, I've been crucified, I no longer live. 17:18 And then in a different verse he says, I actually die daily. 17:23 And God wants us to die. 17:26 And unless a grain would die, it will never produce fruit. 17:29 So if you wonder why no fruit, this is it. 17:32 Because there is no death. 17:35 The reason you argue with people, your spouse or in the 17:37 church or at work, is because you are alive. 17:39 Dead people don't argue. 17:44 When you argue, you need to remember it's you that are not 17:48 dead yet. 17:49 Even if you are right, nobody is right except God. 17:55 Even if you are right, the fact that you argue or you are upset 17:58 or you are offended, it means that you are alive. 18:00 Dead people don't get offended. 18:04 And so that means that you need to die. 18:07 And that God is trying desperately to kill you in 18:09 order to give you a new birth and a new heart. 18:12 God will never fix a broken heart. 18:14 He just replaces it. 18:18 And so that's the reason we don't experience power and 18:21 transformation and have no power to help others experience 18:23 God. 18:24 Because we hate death. 18:27 You understand? 18:30 He doesn't say with his blessings what we say in our 18:33 prayers. 18:37 Let me be one with your death. 18:39 So then I may be one with your resurrection and your life. 18:42 Because that's the way. 18:45 Unless you desire to be one with his suffering and his 18:48 death, you will never experience heaven. 18:52 So when you say, Lord, help me to grow in faith, you say, 18:54 Lord, send me some suffering to develop my character and my 18:58 humbleness and my patience and my trust and my... 19:00 You follow me? 19:01 And then when God sends you the trials, you say, Lord, will you 19:04 please remove the trials? 19:06 Nonsense. 19:08 And so then if you really want to be in heaven and to prepare, 19:14 that's where it starts. 19:17 So now go into the subject. 19:18 I'm torn between talking about this and talking about how 19:21 revival happens. 19:23 Now, talking about revival, I gave you the introduction for 19:27 the first one. 19:29 Talking about revival, you need to remember, Jesus, please 19:34 watch carefully. 19:36 What is the Great Commission? 19:39 Uh-huh. 19:40 Go and preach. 19:40 Am I right? 19:41 From Jerusalem to Judea to the whole world. 19:44 Jesus clearly in the Great Commission, before he told them 19:47 to go, he clearly, strongly told them to wait, to tear a 19:53 little longer in the city. 19:55 He said, do not go, but wait a little longer. 19:58 And I could give you the Bible verses and the quotations from 20:00 the Book of Acts of the Apostles starting at page 32 20:03 all to page 50 in the mid-50s, 54-55. 20:06 If you read carefully, Ellen White says, and please hear 20:09 what I say. 20:11 She says, in obedience, quote, in obedience to Christ's 20:15 command, it was not a suggestion. 20:17 It was a command. 20:19 In obedience, she says, to Christ's command, they did not 20:22 go, but remain in the city and prayed and waited and prayed 20:25 and waited for the opening of the Holy Spirit. 20:27 And she says, they knew, they knew that they could never do 20:31 the work in their own power. 20:33 And they humble themselves, expressing their total 20:37 dependence on God, and they pleaded for the quote, promised 20:41 blessing, the comforter. 20:44 They knew that in their power, they may make plans, they may 20:47 do evangelist Bible studies, yet they will never reach the 20:50 goal. 20:53 every second than people we baptize every second? 20:57 We get farther and farther away from the goal. 21:01 Unless the Holy Spirit works, because this work is not going 21:04 to be closed by mind, by power, by planning. 21:07 We do need to plan. 21:09 Don't get me wrong. 21:10 But we need the outpouring of the latter rain. 21:14 We need, it is by my spirit, says the Lord. 21:18 The work could not have started without the early rain, and the 21:22 work cannot close without the latter rain. 21:25 And therefore our greatest need is revival, and revival happens 21:28 when people pray. 21:32 And the Bible is very clear. 21:34 If my people who are called by my name would humble 21:39 themselves, please remember, 21:45 pray, sing my face, and turn. 21:50 What means to turn around? 21:53 Repent! 21:54 It's not repaint, it's repent. 22:00 You know, it says, the guy, probably I should not tell it, 22:04 wanted to save money, so he diluted the paint with water. 22:07 When the rain came, it washed the paint, and the pastor says 22:10 to the painter, Repaint and sing no more. 22:17 Repent! 22:26 relationship with me, to know me, like Moses, Lord I want to 22:30 know, I want to see you, please show me, tell me who you are, 22:33 like David, show me your face. 22:37 You understand? 22:38 If they know me, if they seek my face, start seeking 22:44 blessings, seek relationship. 22:48 We got to the point that what God intended to be blessings, 22:50 have become curses, because we worship blessings, instead of 22:53 worshiping the blesser. 22:56 Seek my face, make it a priority, and repent. 23:01 If people do that, he says, I will answer their prayers, I 23:04 will heal the land. 23:07 He says that the eyes of the Lord, they go to the earth, 23:13 looking for somebody fully committed, and God can use one 23:18 to save a nation. 23:20 That means that he cannot find one fully committed who would 23:23 humble Moses. 23:25 Moses was a human being, he was not Superman eating super food, 23:29 using super glue, and driving super car. 23:31 Moses was a normal human being, attacked by Satan like you and 23:35 me. 23:37 But because he fully died to self, and by the way, he 23:40 refused to do that in the beginning, he wanted to use his 23:43 own way, and God had to humble him forty years, it took God 23:47 forty years to make Moses nothing so God could be 23:50 something. 23:54 And every single one in the Bible, Joseph, prison, Daniel, 23:59 slave in Babylon, in order to be used, they had to be made 24:02 nothing so God could be something in them and through 24:04 them. 24:05 If my people humble, now think about the disciples, Illinois 24:08 says, they, listen carefully, humble themselves, 24:16 acknowledging their total dependence. 24:18 They knew that they can never finish the work, and she says, 24:21 when they humble themselves and pray and receive the Holy 24:23 Spirit, she says, they did in a short time quote what they 24:26 could not have done in a life. 24:30 And she says, through the power of the Holy Spirit, quote, they 24:32 turn the world, listen, this is a quote, upside down. 24:37 God can do things above human expectation or planning, way 24:41 above and beyond anything that we can plan in our committees. 24:45 Don't get me wrong again, we should, Illinois says, plan, 24:49 pray and work. 24:51 The problem is that sometimes we just plan or we just pray or 24:55 we just work. 24:55 We never put them together. 24:59 And she says, people who only pray and never work, they will 25:02 soon start to pray or pray to become routine. 25:04 People who always just pray, they pray, pray for six months 25:08 and nothing happens. 25:09 And I ask them, did you do something about it? 25:12 If God, if you want God to bless your work, you do need to 25:15 work. 25:16 Otherwise, there is nothing to bless. 25:18 God bless my garden, but by the way, I don't have a garden. 25:24 Also, the Spirit probably says, work according to your prayers. 25:32 By the way, I remember specifically, I was in Spain 25:39 preaching way back, 2004, way back. 25:44 Then, that's 2004. 25:46 Then in 2017, that's 13 years later, I'm in Czech Republic 25:52 talking to the division. 25:54 And the man from the division comes and says, Pastor, I'm 25:57 going to put you on the spot. 25:59 I said, nothing new. 26:02 What have I done? 26:03 He says, well, nothing bad. 26:05 He says, you know what happened in Italy, in Bergamo? 26:09 I said, I've never been in Bergamo. 26:10 I don't even know where it is. 26:12 Well, it's next to Milan. 26:13 I said, okay, what happened? 26:15 I thought he would tell me earthquake or something. 26:17 He says, no, no, no, there is revival. 26:20 He says, Italy is very, very, very, very secular. 26:24 And Italians are Catholics, but they don't go to church, except 26:26 tourists and old people, you know, they don't go to church. 26:30 And he says, a lady went in 2004 to Madrid, Spain, and she 26:36 listened to your sermons. 26:37 And that's what he told me. 26:38 I did not check it too much. 26:40 That's I tell you what he told me. 26:42 He says, she went to the prayer seminar that you gave in Spain, 26:46 and then she practiced what she heard. 26:50 Oh, that's a beautiful thing. 26:52 Otherwise, I could stay home with my wife. 26:54 I like her way more than I like you. 26:59 In the prayer and the hope that people do what they hear, we 27:03 preach. 27:04 Am I right? 27:06 And so, the men from the division said, she practiced 27:10 what she heard. 27:11 She recorded everything on a cell phone, and then she wrote 27:14 it in a small booklet, and then she gave it to another five, 27:16 six ladies from the church that were friends. 27:18 And she says, I want you to read this two, three times. 27:21 And then I want us to meet together, because our church 27:24 has just about 40 people. 27:26 Our church has nothing going on. 27:28 We are dying. 27:29 I want us to experience revival. 27:32 And she said, can we meet in the mornings and pray? 27:37 Can we meet in the mornings and pray? 27:40 And they listened, they read, and then they met. 27:44 Every morning at 6.30. 27:46 And after a few weeks, months, I don't know, I get a phone 27:49 call, and I get like a million phone calls a day. 27:53 Not a million, but you know. 27:55 And some people don't know how to tell you short what they 27:58 want to say, so they talk one hour to say nothing, you know, 28:00 and just after one hour you wonder exactly where do they 28:03 go. 28:06 for me. 28:09 because I, you know, I have things to do. 28:13 And so she talks, and she talks. 28:15 I said, can you please tell me what is the subject? 28:18 She said, well, we have been praying for so long and nothing 28:20 happened. 28:20 God didn't answer. 28:21 I said, yep, me too. 28:22 I've been going to school for three weeks, and they didn't 28:25 give me a degree, you know. 28:27 Nothing happened. 28:28 She said, well, how long do you want us to pray? 28:30 I said, sister, prayer is not an event, it's a lifestyle. 28:36 You don't pray for a month. 28:38 It's like prayer is the breath of the soul. 28:39 You don't breathe for one month and expect it's sufficient. 28:43 If you want to stay spiritually alive, you need to keep 28:46 praying. 28:47 And you need to get it. 28:48 Prayer is a way of life. 28:51 You should always pray, not for miracles, not for answers, not 28:55 for results, but because you need God. 28:58 You need to stay connected. 29:01 So don't look for anything. 29:02 Look for God. 29:04 Seek my faith. 29:06 And I said, if you really want to grow, spend time with him. 29:12 I just read in the morning, the more time you spend in his 29:16 presence, in prayer and study and meditation of the world, 29:19 the more time you spend, the more you are transformed 29:22 without you knowing. 29:25 And I said, you should pray for the sake of Jesus. 29:29 Number one. 29:36 God wants to answer your prayer, but he needs to prepare 29:40 you, prepare the community, so when he gives you a baby, the 29:45 baby doesn't die. 29:48 You need to be ready for the baby. 29:50 So the reason God doesn't answer, it means that either 29:52 you or the community or both are not ready. 29:55 So you need to keep praying because if God, if Noah prayed 29:59 one prayer in his life and God told him to build an ark, Noah 30:02 thought that he ate too much pizza. 30:05 Noah had to be a man of prayer, so when God told him to build 30:09 an ark, he didn't comment. 30:11 He did it. 30:13 Abraham had to be a man of prayer when God said, move from 30:16 your country or sacrifice your son. 30:18 He did it. 30:19 You need to know God's voice and to know God enough to trust 30:22 God to do what he says because God never talks small. 30:26 We plan small. 30:28 God plans big. 30:30 God told Gideon, go to war and he said, we have 32,000 people 30:35 and God says, too many, you have too many, you need just 30:38 300 people. 30:40 If God told Gideon that or told you, you go to war with 300 30:44 people, and then God says, by the way, you don't need 30:47 weapons, you need a light and a trumpet. 30:49 I've never heard anybody fighting with a light, you 30:52 know? 30:55 That's suicide mission. 30:56 It's mission impossible. 31:00 You need to be a man of prayer, a woman of prayer in order to 31:04 trust God enough when he gives you the plan, you do it. 31:07 And so I told the lady, pray until you are ready and then 31:13 pray until God gives you the plan and then follow the plan 31:16 and keep praying so God would go with you through the 31:19 accomplishments. 31:21 You understand? 31:22 So I said, keep praying because Satan wants you to stop. 31:27 If you really want to grow, keep praying and then keep 31:32 working. 31:35 So they say, ah, I said, hallelujah. 31:39 When people say, ah, click, you know, good. 31:44 And then the lady didn't call me back but then in 2017 the 31:47 man says, they got together at 6.30. 31:51 A few old ladies they started to pray. 31:53 And they prayed and they prayed and they prayed and they prayed 31:56 and they prayed and they prayed and they said, Lord, we are not 31:59 going to let you go before you transform us and you prepare us 32:02 and you use us and we ask for the Holy Spirit and we ask you 32:05 to grow our church and we ask you to help us reach the 32:07 community because there are many people there and you told 32:10 us to reach the community but you told us to wait and pray 32:14 until we receive the Holy Spirit and then go and preach. 32:18 So Lord, we are not going to stop. 32:20 And God loves those prayers. 32:23 I'm not going to let you go before you bless me. 32:25 God loves that. 32:27 And so they prayed and they prayed and they prayed about 6, 32:30 7, 8 months later, I don't know precisely how much, somebody 32:33 knocks in the door at 6.30 a.m. 32:35 They opened the door, they were praying and the guy says, guys, 32:38 what's wrong with you? 32:40 I am the neighbor across the street we have no parking on 32:42 this street and it used to be that you come one day a week 32:45 for two hours Saturday morning and that's when the street is 32:49 all parked. 32:50 Otherwise every day we have parking on the street. 32:53 Right now you come every day. 32:55 When I work night shift, I come in the morning, I have no 32:58 parking because you guys you take the parking in front of my 33:00 house. 33:01 Why are you here every day? 33:03 You should come one hour a week. 33:07 And they say, we come together to pray. 33:10 What? 33:11 What do you pray for? 33:12 For the community. 33:13 I never heard of a church to pray for the community. 33:16 Isn't that sad? 33:19 My house shall be a house of prayer. 33:21 So he says, well, my wife has terminal cancer. 33:25 The doctor gave her three months. 33:26 Would you consider praying for my wife? 33:30 I said, sure. 33:31 So they started to pray for his wife. 33:34 A week later he comes with his wife hand in hand and says, we 33:36 want to be baptized. 33:38 And they say, but we don't worship Sunday. 33:40 He says, I don't care when you worship. 33:42 Whenever you worship, I worship. 33:43 But we don't eat pork. 33:45 I eat whatever you eat. 33:46 I don't care those things. 33:48 When people want Jesus, they don't care those things. 33:52 Instead of trying to convince them to care about those 33:54 things, first you need to help them see Jesus. 33:56 See the cross. 33:57 But anyway, he says, I don't care those things. 34:00 I want what you have. 34:02 They said, why? 34:03 He says, well, we went to the doctor yesterday and my wife is 34:06 cancer free. 34:07 You are the single church to pray, to care. 34:09 You are the single church where God is real, present and 34:12 working. 34:14 That's what prayer did to that group. 34:18 Do you follow me? 34:20 And he says, I want to join. 34:21 When people see God real and the church that is spiritually 34:25 profound and works with God, people want that. 34:33 So they gave them Bible studies, baptized them, but he 34:35 talks to the neighbor and he says, they pray for my wife, 34:38 she is cancer free. 34:39 The neighbor comes, my kids are in prison. 34:40 Would you pray for my kids? 34:41 And then the word of mouth. 34:42 No money spent on advertising. 34:44 The word of mouth. 34:46 Two, three months later, every morning in front of the church 34:50 at 630, there was a line of people waiting to be prayed 34:53 for. 34:54 Isn't that beautiful? 34:57 Isn't that beautiful, the church, to be, to have a line 35:00 of people waiting to be prayed for? 35:04 And then more and more people baptized. 35:06 Long story short, the church grew to about 250. 35:11 And then they planted another church and they started to do 35:13 Bible expo, they call it, and Bible studies and seminars on 35:17 health and seminars on this and seminars on that and 35:19 evangelism, the church exploded. 35:22 Because a group of ladies, if my people who are called by my 35:26 name, imagine if every church did that. 35:30 Can you imagine how our church would look like? 35:34 And so the disciples obeying Jesus' command, they understood 35:38 that Great Commission doesn't start with go, but it starts to 35:42 wait in the city and pray. 35:45 What to pray for? 35:46 For the promise comforter. 35:49 For the promise comforter. 35:51 It would be ridiculous to believe that a group of people 35:54 could reach the whole Jerusalem, moreover the whole 35:57 Israel, moreover the whole Asia or Europe or the whole world. 36:01 Can you even reach New York, one city? 36:04 Moreover, to reach the whole America, every city, every 36:07 street, every family, every household, every business. 36:09 Moreover, can you reach the whole Germany or the whole 36:11 Japan or the whole France or the whole Africa or the whole 36:15 Australia? 36:15 Can we? 36:18 We cannot, but we can through the Holy Spirit to put it that 36:22 way, okay? 36:23 And so they understood that they could never, ever, ever do 36:26 that. 36:29 He can do it in a short time through means that we don't 36:31 even know what we cannot do ever. 36:34 So they prayed and the Spirit of Christ says they humble 36:38 themselves, acknowledging their total, total, absolute 36:41 dependence on God. 36:42 Lord, we cannot do it. 36:44 We pray for the Holy Spirit. 36:47 What if the church would do that? 36:49 Number one, they humble themselves, acknowledging their 36:51 total dependence. 36:52 Number one, they did what? 36:55 They did what? 36:56 Humble themselves, acknowledging their total 36:59 dependence. 37:00 Number two, I want you to remember these steps. 37:03 Number two, they prayed together. 37:06 Jesus says, whenever two or three doesn't say 230, Pastor, 37:10 our church has only 40 people. 37:12 That's good enough for Jesus. 37:15 He says two or three. 37:18 Do you have three people in the church? 37:20 Then you can experience power. 37:23 Whenever two or three get together, he says, I am God. 37:29 Honors the little group with his very presence. 37:34 Grasp that. 37:36 And then he says more than that, not only that I am with 37:39 them, but he says for whenever two or three pray in one 37:43 accord, by the way, that doesn't mean to be in a Honda 37:45 accord. 37:48 request, unity of purpose. 37:51 Ellen White says, quote, the disciples didn't merely pray 37:55 asking for a blessing for themselves. 37:57 They had needs, but they did not pray for their needs. 38:03 Oh, let's pray for one another. 38:05 Those are real needs, but they didn't do that. 38:08 They were willing to sacrifice self, to forget self, to forget 38:12 their needs, forget their cancer, forget their 38:14 foreclosure, forget their no job, forget it, and they did 38:17 not even ask a blessing or help for themselves. 38:21 She says they all united in unity for one purpose, praying 38:25 for the Holy Spirit. 38:28 God loves that. 38:30 When we unite and we, and by the way, we don't have time 38:34 right now, but in the prayer seminar, I show from Bible and 38:36 spiritual prophecy that you can pray private prayer. 38:39 The Bible says, go into your room, close the door. 38:42 And Ellen White says, that's where you open the heart and 38:44 talk to God about anything. 38:47 But then she says, the Bible says, whenever two or three, 38:50 and Ellen White says, small group. 38:51 And she says, that's important. 38:53 It's the life of the church. 38:54 It has been shown to me by the one who cannot hear, that the 38:57 formation of small companies. 38:58 Do you remember the paragraph? 38:59 Small groups. 39:00 And she talks about small groups. 39:01 And she says, that's when you encourage one another, support 39:05 one another emotionally, cry together. 39:07 But then she says, when they pray in the church, they get 39:10 together groups from the church. 39:13 Then she says they should pray for the vision, for the Holy 39:15 Spirit, for the growth of the church, for the community. 39:18 You follow me? 39:20 Because sometimes you meet in the church at 11 o'clock, they 39:24 start, and I have this problem, and I have that, and there is 39:27 nothing wrong with that, but imagine if you had a 2000 39:30 people church, and everybody wants to share what to pray 39:33 for. 39:34 When do you preach, you know? 39:37 The church is the place where you pray for the church, for 39:40 the vision, for the growth, for the Holy Spirit. 39:42 Small groups. 39:43 You follow me? 39:44 But going back, the disciples met together, and they prayed 39:48 in unity of purpose, for one request, and only one purpose. 39:54 One. 39:57 the promise blessing, that's what she says. 39:59 The promise blessing. 40:00 They say, Lord, you promised the Holy Spirit, you said you 40:03 will not leave us. 40:04 How? 40:09 Exactly. 40:10 You promised we are waiting for the promise. 40:12 Fulfill your promise. 40:14 We are not orphans. 40:16 When you left, you promised that you are going to send us 40:18 the comforter. 40:19 Please do what you said. 40:20 You said that if you who are evil give your children bread, 40:23 how much more your father in heaven will give the Holy 40:25 Spirit to those who? 40:26 Ask. 40:28 So ask. 40:31 And then she says, well, you pray 10 prayers, expecting 40:35 nothing. 40:36 God is offended. 40:37 She says, expect an answer in faith based not on what you 40:41 understand, but based on God's word, because God doesn't lie. 40:46 Have faith. 40:47 Crazy faith. 40:49 And she says, faith is not an emotion. 40:53 Emotions have to do with our chemistry and moods. 40:55 God doesn't depend on your feelings. 40:58 I don't feel that God forgave me. 41:00 Hello? 41:02 You don't feel forgiveness. 41:04 I feel forgiveness here. 41:06 It's tickling. 41:08 You don't feel forgiveness. 41:12 You don't feel, you know, God's grace. 41:20 You believe it is by faith. 41:23 You take God's word. 41:25 God promised. 41:26 He doesn't lie. 41:28 Not based on me, not based on my logic impossible, based on 41:32 his power, his grace, his promise. 41:34 Period. 41:35 I don't need to understand. 41:37 I need to trust his word. 41:39 It's a mind decision. 41:43 Just as simple as you hear it. 41:45 But I don't believe, brother. 41:47 You need to decide. 41:48 I'm going to decide to trust God. 41:50 Period. 41:50 But I don't understand. 41:51 You don't need to. 41:52 Do you think you can understand God? 41:53 Hello? 41:56 So going back, the disciples prayed in one accord. 42:01 They asked for the Holy Spirit. 42:04 When my people humble themselves, pray. 42:09 They prayed. 42:11 Very interesting. 42:13 Eleanor says that when they prayed in unity, and I want you 42:16 to hear this, she says prayer together is not enough to pray 42:21 alone. 42:22 That's good, necessary. 42:24 You must. 42:27 pray long in the church to compensate the lack of prayer 42:30 at home. 42:31 She says long prayers in the church where even the angels. 42:35 You remember that paragraph? 42:36 She says if you want to pray long, pray at home. 42:40 Not in the church. 42:42 Anyway, going back, she says prayer together. 42:48 I mean, if you and your spouse pray alone, you'll never 42:52 experience that power of praying together. 42:55 You need to pray alone and then pray together. 42:58 She says prayer together brings us closer to God and closer to 43:02 one another, leading to perfect unity. 43:08 Whoa, that's what Jesus prayed for. 43:09 I prayed that they may be one. 43:12 And eventually in the prayer, he says when they are one, then 43:15 the whole world will know. 43:16 Because in this divided, hateful, selfish, self-centered 43:19 world, it's a miracle to see people one. 43:23 Am I right? 43:25 That's a godly intervention. 43:28 And the disciples, she says, they were fighting, bickering, 43:34 she says, the word bickering, and they were divided. 43:37 And when they prayed together in the upper room, she says it 43:40 united them in perfect unity until they became one. 43:43 Thus, she says, preparing the way for the Holy Spirit to 43:47 come. 43:48 And then she says prayer and unity is the condition for the 43:52 outpouring of the Holy Spirit. 43:55 Only when they were one, the Holy Spirit could come. 43:57 So what does he tell you? 43:58 What should you do? 44:00 You understand? 44:02 Prayer brought them together. 44:03 Being united allowed the Holy Spirit to come. 44:07 So number one, they humbled themselves. 44:08 Number two, they prayed together. 44:13 Together. 44:18 You follow me? 44:20 But then she says something that is extreme. 44:23 She says when they prayed for the Holy Spirit, they did 44:28 something else. 44:30 They repeated Jesus' teachings and the prophecies. 44:36 Basically, prayer, she says in Testimony 6, prayer and study 44:39 should never be separated. 44:40 They go only together. 44:42 To pray we talk to God and to the world. 44:43 God talks to us as just he was face to face next to us. 44:48 They repeated Jesus' teachings and the prophecy. 44:50 They went back to the world, to the scripture. 44:53 You follow me? 44:55 Because God wants to talk to you, but you need to study and 44:58 pray and not just pray and then study. 45:00 No. 45:01 Dialogue. 45:04 you talk. 45:04 You follow me? 45:05 Pray and then study and then pray and then think and then 45:08 study and then pray. 45:10 Mix prayer with a lot of study. 45:12 Mix study with a lot of prayer. 45:13 Pray in between lines. 45:15 You follow me? 45:17 So God can talk to you, can impress your mind through the 45:20 Holy Spirit. 45:22 He says that they repeated Jesus' teachings and the 45:25 prophecies. 45:26 They humbled themselves. 45:28 They prayed together. 45:31 They prayed for the Holy Spirit. 45:33 They repeated Jesus' teachings and the prophecies. 45:35 They studied the scripture. 45:36 But now listen carefully. 45:37 What happened after these four conditions? 45:41 So basically they became one, but that's a result. 45:43 It's not a condition. 45:44 It's not what they did. 45:45 It's what happened because of what they did. 45:48 You follow me? 45:49 Now listen carefully what happened. 45:51 In that moment, when they prayed and they were united, 45:55 the Holy Spirit came and the Lenoises illuminated their mind 45:58 and they finally understood what? 46:02 The prophecies? 46:02 No. 46:03 The sanctuary? 46:04 No. 46:04 They understood what? 46:06 The 2300? 46:07 They understood the state of the dead? 46:08 No. 46:09 What does she say? 46:10 Those are all good things. 46:12 But that's not what she says. 46:13 She says they finally understood the cross. 46:17 Can it be that you are in a church for so many years and 46:20 you have not yet understood the cross? 46:23 And she says when they understood the cross, they were 46:26 absolutely overwhelmed. 46:28 She says they realized that God himself, the one who split the 46:33 sea, the one that got them out of Egypt and stroke Egypt with 46:35 plagues, the one that was a pillar of fire in the cloud, 46:39 the one that gave them manna, the one that split the rock and 46:41 gave them water from the rock, the one that kept the sun still 46:45 for so many hours, the one that took the walls of Jericho, God 46:48 himself, the creator that angels cover themselves and 46:51 sing, Holy, Holy, the mighty one, God himself came down and 46:55 took your sins and your sins and your sins and my sins and 46:58 God himself died on the cross and she says that blew their 47:02 mind to the degree that they finally finally what does it 47:06 mean finally that means that it didn't happen before it just 47:10 happened now they finally loved him more than anything else 47:14 that means that they loved him before but they loved other 47:17 things more they love themselves more because if 47:21 there is anything in your life that you are not willing to 47:23 surrender or to sacrifice that's what you love more than 47:26 God because if you loved him more you would be willing to 47:29 sacrifice anything no comments no hesitation if there is 47:34 something that you are that's your god where is your treasure 47:39 that's where your heart is and so they finally when they 47:42 understood the cross they were ready to sacrifice and she says 47:45 everything joyfully and they said no sacrifice was too great 47:49 they joyfully sacrificed everything they knew that their 47:52 testimony is going to cost them their life yet they preached 47:55 with boldness And she says they're ready to lay down their 47:58 lives for Him joyfully. 47:59 He died for me. 48:01 I died for Him. 48:03 The reason we have no sacrifice, no dedication in the 48:05 church is because we don't understand the cross. 48:07 If you would put your eyes on the cross and understand what 48:11 God did for you, you would have no problem to sacrifice. 48:16 And that's what she says it would be good for us to spend 48:19 at least she says one nope thoughtful To spend one 48:26 thoughtful hour every day Reflecting on Jesus life 48:31 specifically the last part of his life She says his cross his 48:34 sacrifice and in the different perhaps says at the foot of the 48:37 cross as we reflect that Without human effort we are 48:40 changed from glory to glory into his image because we are 48:42 changed by beholding That's how transformation happens They 48:49 finally understood the cross Wow, and they're so overwhelmed 48:54 Jesus God died for Pavel. 48:58 Jesus died for Jimmy, for many. 49:00 Who do you think you are, that God himself would die for you? 49:06 That's where transformation happens at the foot of the 49:08 cross. 49:11 You spend time at the cross, at the cross. 49:15 You spend time at the cross and you will never be the same. 49:19 Your family will never be the same. 49:20 Your church will never be the same. 49:22 That's what Ellen White says. 49:24 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. 49:25 He sacrificed His righteousness, His cross. 49:28 It's the third angel message. 49:29 She says in a long paragraph, I'm going to put it in short. 49:31 She says if this message is properly understood and 49:34 preached, it will illuminate the whole world and finish the 49:36 work. 49:37 If this message is understood, she says this message will 49:40 never be understood in eternity. 49:42 Forever and ever we will study the cross. 49:44 She says it's going to be the science of all ages, all 49:47 eternity. 49:56 When they grasped a glimpse of the cross, they're like, wow. 50:02 So what happened? 50:04 They humbled themselves. 50:07 They prayed together. 50:10 They prayed for the Holy Spirit. 50:11 It led them to unity. 50:13 The Holy Spirit came, illuminated their mind and they 50:15 understood what? 50:16 The cross. 50:18 Oh, by the way, I forgot they repeated Jesus' teachings on 50:20 the prophecies. 50:21 Don't ignore that part. 50:22 Okay. 50:23 They understood the cross. 50:24 And then she says, what happened after?
