Good is good. 08:45 Absolutely. Why don't we sing about that? 08:46 Absolutely. I do, too. 11:30 Oh, we should do that more often. 11:31 All right, let's do it again later. 11:33 Look, Tim, I'm singing here. 11:35 Oh, Praise the Lord. 11:37 Oh, you know, 11:38 along that same note, God is so good, 11:41 but yet, there are so many times 11:45 as the human, the carnal human that I am, 11:49 I find myself complaining just about 11:53 some of the craziest things, you know? 11:55 Sometimes, we just let life get to us 11:57 and then we find ourselves complaining about things and... 12:01 But when you focus on the love of God, 12:05 can we really complain? 12:06 I mean, do we really have anything to complain about 12:09 once we focus on and put our attention 12:11 on the goodness of God and His love? 12:13 Well, especially when we see others 12:16 that are less fortunate than we are... 12:18 That's true. Yeah. 12:19 Others that are going through circumstances 12:21 that make ours look like... 12:22 Wow, nothing really. 12:25 But that's one of the life's lessons 12:28 is to learn how to be grateful even in the the dark times. 12:32 That is true. 12:33 There's a song, my family used to sing this growing up. 12:37 I never actually sung... 12:38 This is actually going to be the first time 12:39 I've sung the song publicly. 12:41 But myself at least, well, I've heard my mom and dad 12:43 sing this song growing up. 12:45 It was written by a minister, and the title of it is, 12:50 "I Can't Complain." 12:52 But it's often mistaken as the song entitled 12:55 "God is so good to me," 12:56 because there's a repetitive, 12:58 "God is so good to me," in the chorus. 13:00 But the point is that the writer 13:01 who wrote the song is saying, "You know, God is so good to me 13:04 that I just simply can't complain. 13:06 I have nothing to complain about 13:07 because of God's goodness and God's love." 13:09 Why don't we sing it and see what happens. 13:13 O I have bad days 13:20 And I have hills to climb 13:25 Then I have sad days 13:31 And then a weary mile 13:37 Yet when I look about 13:43 And I think these things all out 13:50 All of the good things 13:53 Outweigh the bad things 13:56 I can't complain 14:02 God is so good to me 14:08 He is so good to me 14:16 More than this world could be 14:22 He's so good to me 14:28 His spirit came to me 14:34 And gave me victory 14:42 God is so good to me 14:49 I can't complain 14:56 Sometimes the clouds hang low 15:02 I'd like to see them go 15:08 Then I ask the question Lord, 15:15 Why so much pain 15:21 But He knows what's best for me 15:27 Although I cannot see 15:33 I just say thank you, Lord 15:40 I can't complain 15:46 God is so good to me 15:53 He is so good to me 16:00 More than this world could be 16:06 He's so good to me 16:12 His spirit came to me 16:19 And gave me victory 16:26 God is so good to me 16:33 I can't complain 16:38 His spirit came to me 16:46 And gave me victory 16:54 God is so 16:58 Good to me 17:03 I can't complain 17:09 My God is so 17:12 Good to me 17:18 I can't complain 17:27 Praise your God. 17:30 Amen. Great. 17:39 You know... 17:47 God is so good 17:53 God is so good 17:58 He's so good 18:02 To me 18:08 Just had to get that out of my system. 18:10 Never want to get that out of my system actually. 18:12 Gratitude never goes out of style. 18:15 It's not a season, it's not a day, it's forever. 18:20 And we will be forever thanking our God 18:23 for all that He has done for us, 18:25 eternity won't be even long enough 18:26 to thank Him for His grace. 18:28 Anyway, I remember that just not too long ago, 18:29 we were doing a program, worship program 18:31 where we were talking about praise and thankfulness. 18:34 And, you know, we praise God just simply 18:37 because He deserves it, just for who He is. 18:39 We don't do it 18:41 because He gives us good things, 18:42 we don't do it because, you know, He just, 18:44 you know, blesses us 18:46 and all of these many assets of life. 18:47 But, you know, 18:49 at the end of the day, He deserves it, 18:51 and He is worthy, and that's why I praise Him. 18:53 Truly.
