00:06 Hello
00:09 and welcome back to 3ABN's special 40th anniversary 00:13 program. 00:16 Thank you for being a part of the 3ABN family and I know we 00:19 tell you this often but thank you, we truly mean it for your 00:22 continued prayers and your financial support for the 00:25 ministry of 3ABN. 00:26 Here we are, thanks to God and of course you, 3ABN is here 40 00:30 years later going strong and pressing forward in spite of 00:33 the times that we are living in. 00:35 God is good, God is faithful all the time and this last hour 00:41 we enjoy some really special testimony roles, the second 00:44 hour Jill, we have more roles we are going to be talking 00:47 about what 3ABN is currently doing, how God is blessed and 00:50 the ministry has grown. 00:51 Mr. Danny from that one network so to speak, as Molly Stevenson 00:56 has said it's like 3ABN had lots of babies and so all the 01:00 other networks, radio networks, God developed those through the 01:03 years. 01:05 But as I think about 3ABN and the leadership team, you talked 01:09 about the board earlier, Mr. Danny we are blessed with a 01:13 really strong board of directors here at 3ABN and of 01:17 course Mr. Bruce Farley he is the chairman of the board and 01:21 been a part of the 3ABN family, he and his wife Jackie for 01:24 many, many years. 01:25 We have of course, Carmelita, that's right go ahead. 01:28 Board meeting before him, Mr. Merlin, and Joanne great people 01:35 and so then Bruce later took, when I first met Bruce I think 01:39 he was still out in the world and he really dedicated his 01:43 life to the Lord and it's an incredible blessing to us and 01:45 always encouraging and so we not only have great board 01:51 members that love the Lord but they literally friends that we 01:55 love, brothers and sisters, we love visiting with them, 01:58 spending time with them and all of our board members we have. 02:01 And I'm thinking about because this is neat because you had 02:03 Mr. Merlin and their son Bruce right now he's on the board and 02:06 then you had Mr. Owen Troy and now we have Carmelita's on the 02:09 board. 02:12 was one of the first people I think he was communication 02:16 director North American Division when we first got 02:20 started and he caught the vision was one of the first 02:23 people in the church, the conference that came literally 02:26 flew here to see what was going on and said that he appreciated 02:30 it and loved it and that he we asked him at one point would 02:33 you be a board member he said absolutely we'll do it so he 02:37 worked for the church and we're a separate 501c3 organization 02:41 and you know a lay organization and so I guess as I look that 02:46 was a big leap of faith because he didn't really know us so to 02:49 be associated, you know, work for the church and yet 02:52 represent the lay ministry. 02:54 Maybe could have got him in some hot water, but it didn't. 02:58 Fortunately, the Lord knew what he was doing, but always a 03:00 blessing like Merlin Farley, too. 03:03 Merlin was always, always said, he was a man of few words, but 03:06 when he talked, that old commercial said, E.F. 03:08 Hutton, when they talk, people listen. 03:10 It doesn't say, well, Merlin Farley is one you wanted to 03:12 listen to. 03:13 Amen. 03:15 something? 03:18 at Andrews Academy. 03:19 She has a great mind and just a wonderful addition to the 03:22 board. 03:25 years. 03:26 Yeah. 03:30 the metal for the roof. 03:31 It's still there today. 03:33 That's right. 03:34 And so that's, as you can see, we were building it in 85, so 03:37 it's going on 40 years, about 38, 39 years that that's been 03:41 there. 03:46 his at ASI in 1985, Big Sky, Montana. 03:50 So we told him we were building, and he talked to Pat, 03:52 and we got to know him some. 03:54 And the rest of the McNeills family have been a blessing 03:57 also, and great friends, and great advisors. 04:01 That's right. 04:05 and Pat's one of those, too. 04:07 He's like Merlin, he doesn't, like I'm a motor mouth, not 04:10 him, Pat just listens, and then boom, he's this, this, and when 04:15 he does, we say, okay, we should listen. 04:17 He's very, very, God has sent us some great people with great 04:20 minds, honestly. 04:23 Mr. Paul Carmi, you know, another great leader, ministry 04:27 -minded, he and his wife, incredible people. 04:28 Yeah, and all the experience they come with, you know, in 04:31 the building, and then Paul's got into television, and things 04:35 that he never thought he would. 04:37 And they came from concrete business, construction, and so 04:41 our people, Farley's were construction, McNeills is 04:45 construction, concrete, and then Paul Carmi, and all of 04:48 these. 04:53 then work in ministry, too, and great blessing. 04:55 Amen. 04:56 Then I'm thinking of Pastor David Shin, you know, Jill and 04:59 I know him, we went to school with him. 05:00 We did? 05:01 Yep. 05:04 blessing to be able to serve with him, and the rest of the 05:05 board, of course, in ministry. 05:07 Yeah, I was just going to say, David, even back in those days, 05:10 he was a student of the Word. 05:12 He had a good mind for knowing the Word of God, and just so 05:15 grateful for his leadership here with the board as well. 05:18 Oh, and people are blessed when he's on the air with his 05:22 sermons, when we have him here at camp meeting, and all of 05:25 that. 05:29 saw his dedication, and so his spiritual strength, and to 05:34 stay, what we say, focused on the three angels' messages, and 05:38 not going here to there, and he's got, you know, solid. 05:41 And that's what God has given us, all of these people are 05:43 solid in the message. 05:44 That's right. 05:45 We praise the Lord for that. 05:46 You know, Dr. Yvonne, I'm thinking of, you know, just the 05:48 team, right, that God has brought here. 05:50 I'm thinking of Jason Bergman. 05:51 He's not able to be with us on the set this evening, but Jason 05:54 Bergman is our CFO, and his wife Francine, of course, leads 05:57 our 3ABN kids' network, their daughter Amanda. 05:59 And I think about how God brings everybody here, our 06:02 staff that we have here running these cameras in the control 06:04 room right now. 06:05 But then we're also reminded of you, because you are also part 06:08 of the team. 06:12 one of us, to help spread the Gospel to the world. 06:15 And so we're just blessed this evening. 06:16 We're sharing these testimonies, not to talk about, 06:18 hey, it's just what we've done, but it's about what we've done. 06:21 That's including you. 06:22 And then we look to Jesus Christ as the captain of this 06:25 ship, 3ABN. 06:27 That's how we're able to reach the world. 06:29 We've been hearing these testimonies this evening, so, 06:31 so very encouraged. 06:32 But, Jill, we have a couple of free offers, right, this 06:34 evening, and then we're going to be going to what 3ABN is 06:37 doing right now. 06:38 Amen. 06:42 YouTube, you can just go on YouTube and type in Mending 06:45 Broken People 3ABN, and that'll come up. 06:47 Or you can call us for the free DVD, Mending Broken People, 06:51 it's several hours long, just the miracle stories of what God 06:55 did and the founding of this ministry. 06:59 You can call us at 618-627 -4651. 07:04 That's 618-627-4651, or you can send us an email, live at 3ABN 07:10 .TV, and just say, yes, I would like this DVD, and give us your 07:14 address. 07:17 back and ask for it. 07:18 So, it helps if you send the address when you send in the 07:21 request. 07:27 one you wear on your suit collar. 07:29 They just came in, so we would love to send that out to you 07:33 free as well. 07:35 And as Greg mentioned, as we talk here, we started with the 07:39 One Network, and then 3ABN grew to ten television networks, and 07:44 all the radio channels as well. 07:48 So, Bobby Davis has been here for many years, worn many hats 07:53 in many different capacities at 3ABN, and he wrote and put 07:56 together this role, and the crew did an incredible job as 07:59 well. 08:00 Let's look at it. 08:01 We focus specifically on three departments. 08:02 There's so many departments at 3ABN, but this is production, 08:06 which is the heart of everything we do. 08:08 The call center, which connects with you at home, as well as 08:12 our pastoral department. 08:14 So, let's go to that role right now. 08:22 Hello, I'm Bobby Davis. 08:24 And when we think of how God brought 3Angels Broadcasting 08:27 Network into existence, and how he sustains it today, our 08:31 hearts are filled with gratitude and love. 08:33 Who could have imagined how God would make it possible for us 08:37 to reach nearly every inhabitant on earth with the 08:40 Gospel, but today it's a reality. 08:43 Viewers now receive Christ -centered programs on Dish 08:47 Network and 7Satellites, hundreds of broadcast stations, 08:51 and online at 3ABN.tv. 08:54 They watch 3ABN on smart TVs with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, 09:00 Roku, YouTube, and MySDA TV set -top boxes. 09:05 Thousands of cable systems carry 3ABN, and you can 09:08 download our free 3ABN Plus app onto any smart TV, smartphone, 09:14 tablet, or mobile device. 09:16 God has fulfilled the dream, he gave Danny Shelton, for a 09:20 television station that would reach the world with the 09:23 undiluted 3Angels messages of Revelation 14, and grown this 09:27 ministry from one television network to ten. 09:32 Under the leadership of Greg and Joe Morricone, our 3ABN 09:35 flagship network offers a wide variety of programs, including 09:40 biblical teaching, children's programs, inspirational music, 09:44 health education, cooking programs, marriage enrichment, 09:48 and more. 09:49 We also broadcast live coverage each year of the Adventist 09:53 Layman Services and Industries Convention and the Generation 09:57 Youth Christ Conference, along with our summer and fall camp 10:01 meetings from 3ABN's worship center. 10:04 3ABN Latino Network is under the leadership of John DINZEY 10:08 and is a source of inspiring Christian programming and live 10:12 evangelistic events that can be seen by nearly 700 million 10:16 Spanish and Portuguese speakers worldwide. 10:19 3ABN Russia has headquarters in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, and is 10:23 under the leadership of Julia OUtkina, producing innovative 10:27 youth programs, children's programming, music, and 10:31 powerful preaching for millions of Russian-speaking viewers. 10:35 Under the leadership of Francine Bergman, 3ABN Kids 10:39 Network produces programs to help young viewers learn about 10:43 Jesus through Bible stories, science experiments, cooking, 10:48 crafts, music, and nature. 10:51 3ABN Proclaim is our preaching and teaching channel, offering 10:55 life -changing messages and practical counsel for our daily 10:58 walk with Jesus. 11:00 3ABN Dare to Dream Network offers urban audiences programs 11:04 designed for spiritual growth and tools to address issues 11:08 like substance abuse, the erosion of the family unit, and 11:12 chronic health concerns. 11:15 Under the leadership of Moses Primo, 3ABN Francais Network 11:19 proclaims the three angels' messages of Revelation 14 to 11:23 220 million people who speak French. 11:27 Our 3ABN Praise Him Music Network is under the leadership 11:30 of Ryan Day and brings glory and honor to God through 11:34 Christian music and powerful testimonies. 11:37 3ABN Canada Channel is our newest addition, and under 11:41 Craig Cleveland's leadership, they're busy recording 11:44 testimonies and program material tailored for Canada. 11:49 In addition, 3ABN International Network broadcasts across 11:53 Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania on satellite and 11:57 worldwide on the internet, featuring many of our parent 12:01 companies' programs and series from 3ABN Australia under the 12:05 leadership of John and Rosemary Malkovich and other ministries 12:08 outside the Americas. 12:10 3ABN has five radio networks and channels, too. 12:14 Jay Christian is general manager for 3ABN Radio, 12:18 offering a unique lifestyle format with talk, music, and 12:22 inspiration. 12:23 He also manages 3ABN Radio Music Channel, a source of 12:28 Christian music and spiritual encouragement where the message 12:32 is in the music. 12:33 Radio 3ABN Latino features talk, Bible study, and music in 12:39 Spanish and is rebroadcast by many radio stations throughout 12:43 the Americas. 12:45 3ABN Russia Radio streams online sermons, Christian 12:49 music, health programs, Bible studies, and children's 12:53 programming 24 hours a day. 12:56 And 3ABN Radio Australia, under the leadership of John 13:00 Malkovich, features programs tailored for audiences down 13:04 under who listen via a large network of AM and FM stations 13:08 throughout Australia and New Zealand. 13:12 So how can 3ABN best minister to those who still haven't 13:15 heard about Jesus? 13:16 That's a question we ask ourselves daily. 13:19 And while every department plays an important role, a few 13:23 have a tremendous impact on our audience. 13:26 3ABN begins with programming, and we're grateful for our 13:30 production manager, Jorge Jaque, and his talented team who 13:34 develop new ideas, set designs, graphics, and animation for 13:38 each series. 13:39 They work with our administration to ensure that 13:42 all our programs glorify God and stay focused on proclaiming 13:47 the three angels' messages to the world. 13:49 God provides us with amazing technology, and today most of 13:54 our studios have LED walls that allow us to quickly change the 13:58 set by changing the background. 14:00 Furniture is placed, lights are adjusted, and cameras are 14:04 positioned with the goal of making each program attractive 14:07 but never distracting viewers from the message. 14:11 As we prepare to record, our team gathers to ask God's 14:15 blessing on today's productions. 14:17 You see, we can do everything right, but only the anointing 14:21 of the Holy Spirit can give our hosts the words that will touch 14:24 hearts. 14:25 Only God can give us wisdom to deal with problems that come 14:29 up, and His hand keeps all our equipment working properly. 14:34 Leading the team for each program is a producer who keeps 14:37 a watchful eye over production and tries to anticipate any 14:41 problem before it happens. 14:43 Our director calls for camera shots, graphics, and video 14:46 rolls. 14:51 hosts and guests, and our video and graphics operator brings up 14:55 video graphics and pictures, as well as the names and titles of 14:59 the host and the guests on the screen. 15:02 Then there's our on-site editor who corrects any visual 15:05 mistakes during the recording, like a bumped camera or a 15:09 misspelled name. 15:10 In the studio, our floor director cues the host to their 15:14 camera, keeps track of time, and informs the director of any 15:17 problems in the studio while they're recording. 15:21 Camera operators listen carefully to the director, 15:24 changing camera angles or zooming in and out at their 15:27 request. 15:28 A jib operator sweeps a camera attached to a long boom through 15:32 the air to produce those beautiful flying shots, and our 15:36 dedicated team of engineers are on constant standby to fix any 15:40 piece of equipment that might break down. 15:42 God wants us to work in unity, and television production 15:46 certainly requires that. 15:48 But what a joy it is, since we remember always that we are 15:52 really working for the Master. 15:55 3ABN's Pastoral Department has direct contact with our viewers 15:59 and listeners. 16:01 This dedicated team stands on the front line of the spiritual 16:04 battle we're in, answering hundreds of calls and countless 16:08 Bible questions each week, as well as carefully reviewing 16:12 programs for content. 16:14 Under the leadership of J.D. 16:15 Quinn, these dedicated workers attend to each caller who 16:19 reaches out for encouragement and prayer. 16:22 We're grateful for our 2,500 3ABN prayer warriors worldwide 16:27 who receive urgent prayer requests and pray for others 16:31 just as Jesus prayed for us. 16:34 What a comfort it is to our audience to know that prayers 16:37 on their behalf are ascending to Heaven day and night. 16:42 J.D. 16:46 volunteers send out hundreds of Bible studies, spiritually 16:49 uplifting books, and 3ABN Bible study guides to prisoners every 16:54 month. 16:55 Many who receive their high -quality study Bible right back 16:58 in tears to thank us, saying that no one has ever given them 17:02 anything so precious. 17:05 Another hub of evangelistic activity is our 3ABN Call 17:09 Center. 17:13 orders for literature and materials are shipped worldwide 17:17 each month by an amazing team of workers who also answer 17:21 questions about our products and programs and print smaller 17:24 items in our print shop. 17:26 They listen carefully and treat each caller with kindness and 17:30 understanding, knowing that some of them are elderly shut 17:33 -ins and have limited interaction with the outside 17:36 world. 17:37 They never forget that 3ABN is the Mending Broken People 17:42 Network. 17:43 As we celebrate 40 years of changing lives for eternity, 17:47 I'm reminded of how God instructed Joshua to have 17:50 elders from each tribe of Israel pick up a stone from the 17:54 Jordan River and pile them on the shore of the Promised Land 17:57 as a testament of their amazing journey and a symbol of their 18:02 trust in God. 18:03 In the same way, we remember that each person who comes to 18:07 the Lord by watching or listening to our networks is a 18:10 living testament that Jesus still saves. 18:14 So rejoice with us as we recount the miracles that 18:17 brought 3ABN into existence and have changed so many lives for 18:22 eternity. 18:23 We hope you'll catch the vision God gave to Danny Shelton so 18:26 many years ago. 18:28 3ABN is about people who care. 18:30 It's about people who work and volunteer in this ministry in 18:34 every department, not just the ones I've mentioned. 18:36 And it's about people like you who pray and give sacrificially 18:41 so that those who haven't heard about Jesus can have the same 18:45 hope. 18:46 Thank you for being our 3ABN family. 18:49 We love you and we thank God for you every day. 18:59 Amen. 19:00 Thank you so very much, Bobby. 19:01 And again, praise the Lord for the growth of 3ABN through the 19:04 years. 19:08 Lord to build a television station that would reach the 19:10 world, did you have any idea, Mr. Danny, of how big 3ABN 19:14 would become? 19:15 I mean, he said no. 19:16 It was just step by step, day by day, whatever door God 19:18 opened, he stepped through it, and here is 3ABN today. 19:22 So praise God for that. 19:24 Mr. Danny, it's amazing also the technology, how it's 19:26 changed through the years, too. 19:28 It has changed tremendously. 19:30 I mean, now that you have your social media, first of all your 19:34 smart phones and all of that. 19:36 I got one years ago, probably in the late 90s or early 2000s 19:40 when they came out, and it was too smart for me, so I took it 19:44 back and went back to my split, what do you call it? 19:47 Flip phone. 19:48 And so I remember telling, I took it back and they said, 19:50 what's wrong with it? 19:51 I said, it's too smart for me. 19:53 I finally caught up with some of it. 19:55 They made it more simple for us now. 19:58 But no, we had no idea where we were going, but to see the 20:01 technology just tells me that Jesus is anxious to come back. 20:05 Maybe we as Christians aren't doing what we should do and the 20:08 timing we should, and He's like, I'm going to help you. 20:10 I'm going to give you some technology. 20:12 You can reach millions and hundreds of millions of people, 20:16 because heaven is not heaven until God's children are home. 20:19 So no, our crew is, they're always, we're state of the art 20:26 here, and thanks to you for those of you that donate and 20:29 help support this, but I can't say enough about our production 20:32 crew that they're always on the top, I call it on top of 20:36 everything, and thank the Lord for good minds, young minds 20:39 that are keeping us up there. 20:41 I always said, if it had been up to me, I'd be dragging 20:46 things around, I wouldn't even have been at the wheel. 20:48 So I'm not that inventive of a mind. 20:51 I can imagine things, but I don't create them. 20:54 You're very entrepreneurial though, you are. 20:56 Absolutely, but I agree with you. 20:58 I think to me we have the best, most creative, most gifted team 21:03 here in the whole world. 21:05 Maybe I'm a little slanted or biased with that, but they're 21:09 incredible. 21:13 that do on major networks that come here and have told Yvonne 21:17 and told us, your crew is the best crew that we've ever 21:20 worked with. 21:21 And we could name you names that they work with and foreign 21:24 people, most people would recognize, but they said, your 21:27 crew and what you do is state of the art. 21:30 Praise the Lord. 21:36 sending the people here that need to be here. 21:37 That's right, amen, for sure. 21:39 We have another testimony to go to. 21:41 We do indeed. 21:43 This hour and a half we want to go into some of those 21:45 testimonies. 21:45 This is Sister Larnetta. 21:47 She has an incredible story, and Curtis and Paula Aikens 21:50 feature into it too, so let's go to that right now. 22:00 My name is Larnetta Gulley. 22:03 I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, but during 22:08 my married and having children years, I moved to Ann Arbor, 22:12 Michigan, and I eventually also worked for the University of 22:17 Michigan. 22:17 So go blue. 22:18 I first discovered 3ABN in 2015. 22:21 I was at home recovering from a second spine reconstructive 22:25 surgery, and I was receiving short-term disability, but I 22:30 was also having to pay out of pocket for my medical 22:33 insurance, and I began to not be able to maintain. 22:38 With rent and food, I just couldn't afford it, so I 22:42 started cutting back on services, and one of them was 22:45 cable, and once I did that, I started watching TV over the 22:49 air, and there were two channels that came in, ION, and 22:54 then another channel that I'd never seen, I wasn't familiar 22:58 with, so it's about two weeks later, ION phases out, so I'm 23:05 left with this channel that I'm not familiar with, so I begin 23:10 to watch it, listen to it, And then, you know, the logo came 23:16 up. 23:16 It said, 3ABN. 23:18 And I'm like, okay, what is that? 23:19 And then I'd watch some more and it said, 3 Angels 23:22 Broadcasting Network. 23:23 And I'm still going, okay, what is that? 23:25 You know, and if you preach and teach Jesus, I can, I can watch 23:30 that. 23:30 I can. 23:31 And so I did. 23:33 I began to look at some of the sermon series. 23:35 And of course, the message of 3ABN, the 3 Angels messages, 23:41 the end time prophecies. 23:43 And so I just became more and more interested. 23:48 And that's how I started watching 3ABN 24-7. 23:55 I was maybe in the living room because my TV was located in 23:59 the bedroom. 24:00 And I heard this real distinctive voice say, get all 24:04 the goodies. 24:05 I'm like, who is that? 24:07 So I go into my bedroom to see who this was. 24:10 And there was Paula and Curtis EAKINS. 24:13 We're the health ministries director for the South Central 24:16 Conference of 7 Day Adventists. 24:17 That's covering five states, Alabama, Mississippi, 24:20 Tennessee, and Kentucky. 24:21 So we told them about health evangelism, Christ's method, 24:25 and also God's servant ministry, that as well. 24:28 And it was a Wednesday and they were presenting their cooking 24:31 show. 24:31 So I watched it. 24:34 Curtis is so knowledgeable. 24:37 And I was learning things from him. 24:39 And then Paula, you know, cooking all the different 24:42 recipes and everything. 24:44 So I began to make sure I, you know, watched their show, you 24:48 know, whenever they were on Wednesdays. 24:51 And so then I want to say about a year later, they were doing a 24:56 conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. 24:59 Larnetta was watching when they were doing all this. 25:02 She was watching it and said, oh, I'm going to go to the 25:06 healthy heart conference. 25:07 I've been watching Curtis and Paula in cooking shows and I 25:10 got to go because she lived in that area. 25:12 Curtis gave his own private cell number and I contacted 25:17 him. 25:17 So she called me personally. 25:20 She said, Curtis, I want to go, but I don't have 25:21 transportation. 25:23 So that's how we met her from 3ABN exposure watching our 25:27 presentation. 25:28 We had breakfast together and we just started talking. 25:30 She began talking about herself and how much she loved 3ABN. 25:34 And she loved the recipes and the conversation going on. 25:37 And so it was set. 25:40 He and Paula Ubered me to Murfreesboro and I attended the 25:45 conference with them. 25:47 Larnetta was sold. 25:48 She was sold. 25:49 We knew she loved Jesus. 25:50 Yes. 25:54 but she was anxious about the material she had been hearing 25:57 about God and she was anxious to know more about God. 26:00 So I became her private teacher. 26:03 So I was sending two studies, two at a time. 26:07 She was sending them back until she finished all 14 lessons. 26:11 And the major one, the major one was when she sent it back 26:15 and we saw on there that question, are you interested in 26:18 being a Seventh-day Adventist? 26:20 And she said, yes. 26:22 And then she decided to get baptized into the Seventh-day 26:26 Adventist Church. 26:27 They came to my baptism and that was precious. 26:31 So when she got ready to go into the water, we were down 26:34 front. 26:35 And when they got ready to take her under... 26:37 We just finished walking in from North Alabama. 26:39 We walked in. 26:40 Honey, there she is. 26:41 And I took a picture of her in the baptismal pool and there it 26:45 was. 26:51 a family. 26:58 because it has caused me to rethink my Christianity, my... 27:06 Not the beliefs, but who am I as a Christian? 27:15 Am I superficial? 27:17 Am I just... 27:18 Do I just have head knowledge and heart knowledge? 27:24 3AbN impacted me by showing me truth, teaching me truth, 27:33 things that I never even heard of before. 27:39 3AbN has allowed me to try and find the narrow way. 27:45 If he can deliver me, he can do it for you. 27:49 You never know who you're going to reach, who needs to hear. 27:54 It's priceless. 27:55 And I still play 3AbN at least on one TV 24-7. 28:00 So yeah, I love it and I'm so grateful. 28:04 I'm really grateful. 28:07 40 years of changing lives for eternity. 28:12 What a precious testimony. 28:15 When I hear these testimonies, I can't get full because it's 28:19 just showing the power of God in everybody's life. 28:23 And they're watching 3APN. 28:25 It's just such a blessing to be a part of your ministry. 28:30 We can't do this without you. 28:32 So it's such a blessing to be a part of this ministry that's 28:35 getting the Gospel out to everyone. 28:38 And then look at Curtis and Paula with Bible studies. 28:42 And we'll bring her over there to the meeting. 28:46 What a blessing. 28:47 So shout out to Curtis and Paula as well. 28:50 What always amazes me is the people that want truth. 28:55 How God didn't have it seem like, you know, this is 28:59 terrible. 29:00 I can't afford cable anymore. 29:01 So you get rid of that. 29:03 Then you get ION and another channel. 29:05 So you watch that. 29:06 Then that one fades out. 29:08 You just watch it on the antenna. 29:11 Thank you. 29:12 It's just a set up by the Lord. 29:14 And then watching that has been life changing for her. 29:17 But to have people like Curtis and Paula joining hands and 29:21 saying, Hey, we're here for you, being there for you. 29:24 She says gave him a private cell number so he could talk, 29:27 give her Bible studies. 29:28 I mean, that's really what it's all about. 29:30 And seeing lives change like this, I mean, that encourages 29:34 us tremendously. 29:37 And Heaven's going to be fun. 29:38 Isn't it though? 29:39 Amen. 29:39 Praise the Lord. 29:40 I love their testimony. 29:42 I love to see friendship evangelism, you know, and then 29:46 to see how God works in incredible ways. 29:50 As you referenced, Mr. Danny, it's so amazing to me just to 29:54 think that everything else faded away television wise. 29:58 The only thing left is 3aBN. 30:00 So God had his hand in that knowing what she needed. 30:05 So we've seen it over and over again. 30:07 Yeah. 30:07 Amen. 30:08 So thank you, Larnetta. 30:10 You are part of the family. 30:11 She said, I feel like I'm part of the family. 30:13 You are part of the family and we love you. 30:16 So yeah. 30:17 Amen. 30:19 is Daryl and Cheryl. 30:22 And let's go to that right now. 30:30 My name is Cheryl Berrett. 30:32 I'm from Northern Idaho. 30:34 I grew up in a lot of places. 30:36 My dad, when I was young, was in the military. 30:39 I've moved basically an average of once a year until I was out 30:46 of high school. 30:48 My name is Daryl Berrett and I live in North Idaho now. 30:53 I grew up on a farm and we had a very close-knit family. 30:59 Had pretty happy childhood, I think. 31:02 When I was real young, my mom would take me to the community 31:06 church there in town. 31:08 But by the time I was six, we stopped going. 31:15 And quite a chunk of time went by when I didn't attend church 31:19 and was actually not following God or giving God much thought. 31:24 I didn't grow up in church really. 31:27 Those first years, my parents divorced when I was six and my 31:32 mom remarried. 31:35 And we moved some more. 31:38 But she was raised somewhat in a Lutheran, at least with a 31:43 Lutheran background. 31:44 And we did start attending church probably about the time, 31:49 I went a few times from the age of six up to ten. 31:53 And then once we settled down in the same town for quite a 31:58 while, we went to church on Sundays. 32:04 So I knew the background stories. 32:07 To me it was boring and I wasn't getting anything out of 32:10 it and I didn't attend very often. 32:12 Once I moved out of the house, yeah, I didn't attend church 32:17 much until, well, Darrell and I were probably married. 32:22 And at that time we decided we would get married at a church 32:26 that his aunt and uncle were attending. 32:28 And so we met with the pastor there and we started attending 32:31 church there more frequently. 32:33 We attended that up until we started watching 3ABN and 32:38 learned that Saturday was the real Sabbath and it was hard to 32:46 attend Sunday church after that. 32:48 We started having questions. 32:50 We built the house out at the farm and moved out there and 32:55 found 3ABN on the antenna and started learning what the truth 33:00 was, what was actually in the Bible. 33:05 It was much more sense and was presented in a way that you 33:08 could understand it. 33:09 Watching 3ABN really opened our eyes to the Biblical truth and 33:15 made it, well, the programs we were watching made it easy to 33:21 understand. 33:23 Doug Batchelor was doing a series from Berrien Springs, 33:28 Michigan and I saw that and it was a revelation seminar type 33:33 thing and I've always been really interested in 33:35 revelation, wanting to know what the future held and stuff. 33:39 So I watched that and Pastor Doug just made everything so 33:43 plain and he backed everything he said right out of the Bible 33:47 and I was hooked. 33:50 Doug went step by step through the Bible. 33:52 That's one thing I have found watching 3ABN is it's out of 33:57 the Bible. 34:00 It's backed up with the information that's given there 34:04 and in context and we went through everything he said and 34:09 looked it up and found where it said that and we could see it 34:13 for ourselves and see that it hadn't been a verse here and a 34:17 verse here until it all made, supported their argument and so 34:22 I started learning these things and then I would go to Sunday 34:24 school and start questioning, you know, why is it that we're 34:28 going to church on Sunday? 34:31 And they would just look at me and, you know, give me an 34:36 excuse, you know, that well it was changed and I thought, well 34:38 I don't see that. 34:43 when there was no answer and I got just the silent treatment 34:47 pretty much and I decided, okay, we've got to find 34:49 somewhere else. 34:50 We went to the Moses Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church 34:54 and couldn't believe how we were accepted there. 34:57 The people were so good at helping us along and keeping us 35:03 close and teaching us and we got involved in things. 35:06 We learned so much just from the seminars on television and 35:12 Sabbath School that it didn't take long to far exceed what I 35:18 had learned in the past. 35:20 I started to tear up when I think of the overwhelming love 35:23 that God has for me even though I turned my back on God through 35:28 my young adult life. 35:30 I would like to say thank you to everyone involved with the 35:35 3ABN ministry that they've made a big change in my life. 35:40 I know they've made changes in other people's lives. 35:44 Without 3ABN we would be a lost flounder in this world without 35:51 the clear message of hope that they broadcast daily. 36:03 Amen. 36:04 Praise the Lord. 36:06 I like how they mentioned in their Biblical truth because 36:09 Mr. Danny that's been the message that 3ABN has 36:12 proclaimed from the very beginning. 36:14 The Word of God. 36:16 Not our own just thoughts and opinions but from the Word of 36:18 God. 36:19 So, praise the Lord for that. 36:21 The other thing, they mentioned the amazing facts and such and 36:24 that's another beautiful part of 3ABN Mr. Danny. 36:26 You've built this from the very beginning and that is we're a 36:29 platform for other ministries to spread the Gospel. 36:32 I'm just going to put it out there. 36:34 I believe that God has blessed 3ABN because of that. 36:36 It's not been just 3ABN programming only. 36:38 You've opened it up to other ministries such as Amazing 36:40 Facts that is written and such. 36:41 That's really powerful too. 36:43 The Gospel being shared from many different ministers, 36:46 ministers to different people. 36:47 So, praise the Lord. 36:48 I love how they shared how they wouldn't be the same. 36:51 You know, they'd be lost and alone without God using the 36:55 ministry of 3ABN. 36:56 It's true. 36:57 We have more testimonies. 36:59 We do indeed. 37:03 from New York. 37:05 Is it right? 37:05 Okay, good. 37:06 Let's go to her testimony. 37:14 My name is Tawoona Ziegler. 37:17 I am a nurse. 37:19 I work in a community hospital. 37:20 I work on a medical surgical floor. 37:23 I've been doing that kind of work for about 15, 16 years 37:28 now. 37:35 There were 10 children in the household from the time I was 37:39 about 10 years old on. 37:40 There was 10 of us. 37:42 So, we grew up going to church every week. 37:46 Every Sabbath we would go to church and fellowship with the 37:51 members there. 37:52 We, at about age 10, I decided to take a baptismal class and 37:58 become baptized. 37:59 So, at 10 years old, I was baptized into the church. 38:03 As I reached my teenage years, I definitely was very anxious 38:08 to get out into the world and see what the world had to 38:12 offer. 38:13 Church became more of a something we had to do because 38:17 that's what our parents expected. 38:20 But once I reached the age where I was more independent, 38:24 could drive, and I chose a different path. 38:28 I chose to do my own thing and mingle with as many people from 38:35 the world as I could. 38:37 There were many nights where I would be out partying with my 38:41 friends on the weekends and too tired to go to church. 38:47 So, I drifted away from the church in my heart, definitely, 38:51 I would say, in my teenage years. 38:55 I know I focus mainly on making money and my job and acquiring 39:03 things and acquiring a new house, acquiring a new car, 39:10 acquiring just things, but it just didn't satisfy because I'd 39:16 always be shopping for something new. 39:18 I'd always want something new when that got old. 39:22 I always listened to the radio. 39:24 I was a big talk radio listener and talk radio was always very 39:30 satisfying for me, but during COVID with everything, talk 39:34 radio was very upsetting for me. 39:38 One day I went to my hairdresser and she said, Oh, I 39:42 have 3ABN on. 39:43 I can get 3ABN on my TV. 39:45 Like, Oh, okay. 39:47 I've never really watched it before, but I would like to 39:50 watch it. 39:51 I said, Sure. 39:52 Yeah. 39:54 So we watched it and I asked her like, Well, how do you, how 39:57 do you have that on your TV? 39:59 It's not, it's not a regular TV channel on our cable network, 40:03 but she was able to show me that she goes, Oh, you just 40:07 need to get the app on your phone. 40:09 When I got home, I downloaded the app and started listening 40:14 and there were just so many programs that just touched my 40:20 heart. 40:27 wasn't too late for me to come back to Christ and, 40:37 and that even though I'm a sinner, that God still loves me 40:47 and that he wants me in his kingdom. 40:57 So I didn't, it didn't, I didn't understand it when I was 41:03 younger. 41:08 listening, it made me want to draw closer to him. 41:13 I started taking time to read the book that he's given us, 41:18 the Bible, and just the messages that were presented 41:25 were just, just made me realize that Jesus died for me too, not 41:33 just something that we think about every Easter and he died 41:38 because he loved me and he still loves me. 41:45 So I'm grateful for 3ABN. 41:50 They've given me so much inspiration. 41:54 I listen to the sermons and when I'm doing kitchen cooking 42:01 and I'm out doing yard work, I have my phone with me and I 42:06 just can't get enough of listening to the Word as I go 42:15 about my day and as I ride in my car, I like to listen to 42:21 3ABN also. 42:23 It's been a tremendous blessing for me. 42:27 I was re-baptized in 2021 and recommitted my life to Christ 42:34 and I'm just so thankful for the local church to welcome me 42:42 back and be part of the Church of Christ again. 42:54 How beautiful is that? 42:56 One thing that struck me to Tawoona's testimony was it's 43:01 never too late. 43:02 The Lord will just come after us wherever we are. 43:06 He loves us so much that wherever we are, whatever we've 43:12 done, nothing is too great, nothing is too bad for Jesus to 43:19 just come and take us. 43:20 And then the other thing is she was pursuing, and I can relate 43:24 to this, she was pursuing all these material things and 43:27 finding that that doesn't satisfy. 43:30 Only Jesus can satisfy. 43:33 So we're so thankful that the Lord used 3ABN to reach her. 43:38 What a blessing, what a blessing. 43:40 I was here selfishly thinking, you know what, these kind of 43:44 testimonies is worth getting a little beat up once in a while. 43:47 People don't like what we're preaching. 43:49 They don't like 3ABN. 43:51 They don't like anything about us. 43:53 They'll write us these letters or send us these voicemails. 43:56 But you know what, go ahead. 43:57 If you want to keep doing that, this is worth it. 43:59 That's right, I agree with you. 44:01 It's amazing these testimonies of lives being changed because 44:05 God is your ministry, those of you at home, this is your 44:08 ministry. 44:09 We're here maybe in administration, but it's your 44:11 ministry without you. 44:13 These people would not have heard this message through 44:16 3ABN. 44:17 So once again, we thank you. 44:19 You know what I loved about it? 44:20 I loved that it was the hairdresser who witnessed her. 44:23 So she's on this journey, and right now she's seeking 44:27 material things, trying to fill that void inside. 44:31 And yet the hairdresser says, hey, could we put on 3ABN as 44:35 she's doing her hair? 44:37 So I love that because she's being a witness. 44:41 And then Tawoona can say, well, how can I get that? 44:43 The 3ABN app. 44:45 So there's so many ways that you can evangelize at home. 44:51 You might be in a hairdresser capacity or any other job, and 44:55 you could be putting on 3ABN, and you can be witnessing that 45:00 way to other people. 45:02 I love that. 45:02 Yeah, absolutely. 45:04 And also I've heard a number of these testimonies where they 45:06 talked about their local church was so warm and so inviting and 45:09 welcoming them back. 45:11 That's key, too, because I hate to say it, but I've been to a 45:14 few churches where they may not be quite so warm. 45:16 So make sure that your church is warm and inviting for people 45:19 that are coming to your local church. 45:21 We have another testimony that we want to go to. 45:23 This is from Arlena, and she's from Medford, Oregon. 45:27 Let's go to that right now. 45:35 My name's Arlena, and I'm 73 years old right now, and I live 45:40 in Medford, Oregon. 45:43 We went to a congregational church when I was growing up. 45:49 My favorite part about the church was the music. 45:53 I loved to hear everybody singing in the church at the 45:56 same time. 45:57 I felt closest to the Lord when that was happening. 45:59 I was married for 28 years to a intelligent man that I met in 46:09 college. 46:10 We moved to an agricultural county in California and lived 46:16 free and the hippie culture lifestyle. 46:20 As soon as we were married, I found out that he wanted 46:25 nothing to do with church. 46:27 As his wife, I ended up doing whatever he wanted to do. 46:33 So we didn't have any kind of religion for 28 years. 46:38 We did not practice anything like that. 46:40 I don't want to keep living like this. 46:43 It's too much. 46:44 I want to have a Christian lifestyle. 46:47 So I moved. 46:50 We went through the divorce, and I moved to Medford, Oregon. 46:56 When I first came here, I attended over 30 church 47:00 services in at least 20 churches here because I didn't 47:06 know which church to go to. 47:09 And all of them were nice. 47:12 They were great people in there. 47:14 I loved the music. 47:16 I just didn't know which church to go to. 47:20 But in the background, God had a particular church that he 47:25 wanted me to go to. 47:27 Here's how that happened. 47:29 One day, I was watching TV, and all of a sudden, a new channel 47:34 came on there that I had never seen before, and there were 47:38 some children singing Christian songs and playing instruments. 47:45 And I thought, who are these kids? 47:49 And what is this program? 47:51 I didn't know anything about the channel. 47:55 I just, as a music teacher, was drawn to the children because 47:59 that's what I'm doing. 48:00 I was teaching music in the schools. 48:02 I found out later that it was Three Angels Broadcasting 48:05 Network, and that was being shown on Better Life 48:09 Television. 48:10 There were health programs, which I'm very interested in. 48:14 There was sermons from Adventist churches. 48:18 There were all kinds of cooking shows, which I loved vegan and 48:23 vegetarian cooking anyway. 48:25 One of the speakers started talking about the Fourth 48:28 Commandment and about how we should be worshiping on the 48:34 seventh day, not on the first day. 48:37 I was really shocked when I first heard that news a lot. 48:42 Here I am, 52 years old, and I had never heard of that before. 48:46 I thought that only Jewish people worshipped on the 48:51 Sabbath, not Christian people, but later I learned that the 48:58 Sabbath was established at creation. 49:02 Once I realized that God's Fourth Commandment was a 49:07 commandment and not just a suggestion, I really took that 49:11 seriously, and I started going to church every Sabbath, but it 49:19 was difficult with my family at first because they thought I 49:27 was going into a cult. 49:30 They said, everybody worships on Sunday, but after I got 49:34 baptized into the church, they realized that I was very 49:38 serious about being an Adventist and following God's 49:42 commandments totally, and I wanted to serve the Lord. 49:50 God was always there with me and leading me. 49:56 He was always in the background, but I almost had to 50:00 hit bottom before the Lord really stepped in. 50:06 So I am so thankful for the Lord, number one, leading me 50:11 one day at a time through all the trials and tribulations of 50:16 life, but always being there as my best friend because today, 50:22 and for 25 years, I have been watching 3ABN and other 50:28 wonderful Adventist programs like Amazing Facts, Amazing 50:34 Discoveries, It Is Written. 50:36 There's so many Adventist programs available now. 50:39 Just at the click of my remote on the TV that I can have going 50:45 all the time in the background in my home, when you listen to 50:50 these people day after day and realize they're speaking the 50:55 truth from the Bible, I mean, if the Bible is the total Word 50:59 of God, then that is what I'm hearing on 3ABN. 51:03 I love the Lord, and that's what I want to be doing for the 51:07 rest of my life, and I really want to thank 3ABN for 51:13 providing those kind of programs for people to learn 51:16 all about the Sabbath and all about all these other things in 51:20 the Bible. 51:21 40 years of changing lives for eternity. 51:26 Amen. 51:27 What a great testimony. 51:30 Thank you, Sister Arlena. 51:31 We had the privilege to meet her just about a year ago when 51:35 we were out at Bruce and Jackie Farley's church there in 51:38 Medford, Oregon, and Bruce said, There's a lady and we've 51:41 got to have you meet. 51:42 So just a precious woman of God. 51:44 Thank you, Arlena, for being willing to share your testimony 51:47 when our crew went out and got those testimonies. 51:50 In the Northwest, the Pacific Northwest, there's a gentleman 51:55 by the name of Mel Kimmel, who the Lord has used to be 51:59 instrumental in starting many of these what we call downlink 52:04 stations. 52:08 they can flip a channel and they can get 3ABN. 52:12 They don't need to have cable. 52:14 And so our crew had the opportunity to sit down with 52:17 Brother Mel and to hear just a bit of his heart. 52:22 Incidentally, I taught his son in Academy years ago, so this 52:28 makes me feel a little old, but he was the parent of one of my 52:32 students. 52:33 That's right. 52:37 right now. 52:46 My name is Mel Kimmel. 52:47 I'm currently from Prosser, Washington. 52:49 My parents divorced when I was like 5 years old, and so I was 52:53 raised by my mother and my neighbor kid, who was an 52:58 Adventist, said, well, why don't you go to church school? 53:02 I was more than glad to make a change and make a try, but when 53:07 I went to church school, I felt like I came home. 53:10 I had a side job of satellite television, which is the reason 53:16 I got involved with 3ABN. 53:18 I was in communications and I was in the communication 53:23 business as far as satellite television as well. 53:26 As time progressed, I heard about 3ABN, and as I started 53:33 watching their program, I thought, well, that's something 53:35 I can do, so I got into inquiring about putting in a 53:42 station, and I felt that being not raised an Adventist and 53:48 coming into the church because of conviction and the 53:52 experience of going to church school, I had experienced 53:55 something that totally changed my life, and it was an oasis in 54:01 a very troubled start to be able to come into the faith and 54:07 I knew that was something I wanted to share and I'm not an 54:11 evangelist, I'm not gifted with speech and that was something I 54:17 could do was put up these stations, I mean we put in 54:21 eleven stations and it was not really us but all the people 54:28 that got behind us that did this. 54:32 When you see the results, it's like a shot in the arm to see 54:38 somebody who does see the truth and they said, man, for all 54:43 these years I believed this and now all of a sudden I'm able to 54:47 see the clear picture. 54:49 God has given each and every one of us a talent and you 54:53 don't want to hide it, you want to use it for God and bless 54:56 others. 54:58 I can't say what heartwarming it does to you to see somebody 55:04 come into the church. 55:06 It's amazing to see the picture with 3ABN because you have so 55:13 many different selections of programming and so many 55:16 different aspects and angles. 55:18 It's like how come one person painted the picture this way 55:22 and another paints it another way. 55:24 All this is to be attributed to what is being put out there and 55:32 what is able to affect the lives. 55:36 What were maybe just a little pebble in the water but the 55:39 ripples go on and on for quite a while and we don't know until 55:45 we get to heaven whose lives we touched. 55:48 We really have a lot to be thankful for the efforts put 55:52 forth. 55:53 It's hard to express our gratitude. 55:55 I mean, the good Lord is going to reward each one and give 56:00 them thanks for what they've done. 56:04 I just pray that the amount of people will be more than what 56:08 we can number. 56:10 40 years of changing lives for eternity. 56:15 Amen. 56:16 I want to tell you something. 56:18 Kimmel is one of my favorites and this guy has, I'm guessing 30 56:23 years, it's been so many years now that when there was no 56:27 other technology, there was cable and regular television 56:30 but no social media, no apps, no other way to get. 56:35 I think probably even before Dish Network we actually, but 56:39 he started putting these downlink stations so we were 56:42 shooting to North America, 22 ,300 miles to space, hit a 56:47 satellite and come down through North America so then we would 56:50 build a station with the antenna, the tower, the antenna 56:53 and then you had the little shack we always call it, you 56:56 know, where you put the transmitter and so then that 56:59 would be broadcast into maybe 20, 30, 40 miles depending. 57:03 And Kimmel just volunteered, he just seemed to come out of 57:07 nowhere and we made contact with each other and so we put 57:11 in one station, then another and then another and some of 57:15 the Northwest they get a lot of snow and I remember there's 57:18 times that he couldn't, you know, it was very hard to even 57:20 get up to the transmitter to try to during a snow storm to 57:25 make sure that everything was clean and the signal was clean 57:28 and He's put in thousands and thousands of hours and so much 57:34 volunteering that it's been amazing. 57:37 And a lot of times he raised the money himself too. 57:39 He would raise the money, we need a station here, help raise 57:43 the money, install the station, put it in with all the 57:47 knowledge that he has. 57:48 So he's one of the most humble men that I know and we don't 57:51 get to talk very often, but Mel, thank you, my hat's off to 57:54 you and praise the Lord. 57:56 You will need to spend eternity in heaven because there's gonna 57:59 be no telling how many thousands, potentially 58:02 thousands of people that say, thank you for what you did for 58:06 the cause of God. 58:07 I came to Jesus. 58:09 So God bless you. 58:11 Amen. 58:12 Yeah, he's such an evangelist at heart, isn't he? 58:14 Evangelism is on his mind. 58:16 Some of these stories and testimonies that we're hearing 58:18 this evening actually have come from some of those down links 58:20 that he installed years and years ago. 58:23 You know, there's many, many different aspects how three 58:26 have been ministers to others around the world and one is 58:28 through prison ministry. 58:30 And of course, 3ABN's partnered with, of course, Lemuel Vega 58:34 and Christmas Behind Bars. 58:35 We've worked with him for many years, providing literature, 58:37 going on site, shooting some programs like Unshackled, I 58:40 think, Dr. Yvonne and Free Indeed through the years. 58:44 And so we want to go to a special role that Ben and Pam, 58:47 they went to visit, Lemuel Vega there at some prisons. 58:51 So let's go to that role right now. 58:53 As part of the mission of changing lives for eternity, 58:57 3ABN and Christmas Behind Bars partnered together to put 3ABN 59:02 Bible studies into the hands of incarcerated men and women 59:05 across the country. 59:07 Brother Lemuel, what would you think if we were to do a 59:11 special edition of the 3ABN Bible study guide for the 59:14 prisoners that you could put 60 ,000 Bible study sets into the 59:19 bags? 59:20 That's amazing. 59:21 How many Bible studies are in there? 59:22 14 lessons, and we want to include all 14 lessons. 59:27 3ABN viewers graciously supported the project, and 59:30 thousands of Bible study sets started to be assembled by 59:34 volunteers. 59:35 Additionally, inmates from the Putnamville Correctional 59:38 Facility helped with the assembly of the Bible study 59:41 guides and shared how it changed their lives. 59:44 I just wanted to thank the 3ABN Broadcasting Network for giving 59:47 us the opportunity to give back. 59:49 Bible study number seven comes up with a lot of really good 59:51 ideas, and it just reminds us of what's good for our body. 59:55 I want to give back to people. 59:57 I don't want, I want to kind of change that people's mentality 59:59 that, you know, people in prison are just in here doing 01:00:03 whatever. 01:00:04 But it didn't stop at Putnamville. 01:00:06 Lemuel Vega recruited more help from inmates at the Pendleton 01:00:10 Maximum Prison in Pendleton, Indiana. 01:00:13 The Lord has opened the doors to the prisons. 01:00:16 3ABN has been a huge part of that, taking the gospel to the 01:00:20 prisoners. 01:00:23 packages. 01:00:30 few hours. 01:00:32 Once the packages were completed, they were passed out 01:00:35 to the men and women at the Newcastle Correctional 01:00:38 Facility. 01:01:02 3ABN is committed to helping those who are incarcerated to 01:01:06 learn more about Jesus. 01:01:09 3ABN is truly changing lives for eternity. 01:01:14 Happy 40th anniversary, 3ABN. 01:01:18 Woo! 01:01:22 Amen. 01:01:23 Wow, praise the Lord, amen. 01:01:24 Isn't it exciting to see what God is doing for those who are 01:01:28 behind bars, for those who need the gospel so desperately. 01:01:32 Praise the Lord and how the prisoners join hands together 01:01:34 and help to put together those Bible studies. 01:01:38 We love Brother Lemuel and the entire team there with 01:01:41 Christmas Behind Bars. 01:01:42 Speaking of Bible studies, I just want to give a plug for 01:01:45 the 3ABN Bible studies. 01:01:46 We have lessons one to 14. 01:01:49 This is set number one, which is Looking Higher, the 01:01:52 introductory set. 01:01:53 Set number two is the prophecy set. 01:01:56 It's called Searching Deeper. 01:01:58 You can get both of these. 01:02:01 They're downloadable for free online. 01:02:03 You can just go to 3ABN.tv and download them or call us at 01:02:07 3ABN and we would love to connect you with them. 01:02:10 And the first set we have for prison ministry as well. 01:02:13 And if you're involved in prison ministry, we would love 01:02:16 to share them with you. 01:02:19 Our next role is actually a reenactment again. 01:02:24 And this is a viewer who is in a desperate place in their life 01:02:28 and God used 3ABN to turn it around. 01:02:38 God intervened in a man's life, saving him from making a tragic 01:02:43 decision. 01:02:44 I will call him Frank. 01:02:45 Frank was feeling overwhelmed by pain and sorrow. 01:02:49 Frank was unable to see a way out of his suffering. 01:02:52 He made the decision to end his life. 01:02:56 Frank was sitting in his apartment alone and desperate. 01:03:00 With a gun in his hand, he waited until late at night and 01:03:04 turned on the TV as loud as he could so that no one would hear 01:03:08 when he shot himself. 01:03:10 3ABN was on the TV and Pastor John Carter was delivering a 01:03:14 message and he heard Pastor Carter say, friend, Jesus loves 01:03:19 you, he died for you. 01:03:21 Those words pierced his heart and pierced through the 01:03:25 darkness of his mind. 01:03:27 He listened intently as Pastor Carter spoke about the value of 01:03:32 a soul and how much Jesus cares for each and every one of us. 01:03:37 In that moment, Frank felt a flicker of hope. 01:03:41 He felt like God was speaking directly to him through Pastor 01:03:45 Carter's words. 01:03:47 Putting down the gun, he called into 3ABN's pastoral line for 01:03:50 help. 01:03:55 encouraged him with scriptures revealing God's unconditional 01:03:59 love and his never-ending mercies and his faithful 01:04:03 promises to each and every one of us. 01:04:05 Through prayer and the counseling, he discovered that 01:04:09 he is loved unconditionally by God and that God has a purpose 01:04:15 for his life and that he is of great value. 01:04:18 Frank is grateful because of God's love and ability to reach 01:04:23 us in the darkest moments of our lives and to give us hope 01:04:27 and light and life eternal. 01:04:31 Friend, if you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, if 01:04:35 you are struggling with depression, if you feel like 01:04:38 you have a heavy load on your shoulders and you don't know 01:04:40 what to do, Jesus is right there. 01:04:44 He loves you and he has a way out that you cannot even 01:04:48 imagine. 01:04:49 In Matthew chapter 11, verse 28, Jesus says, come unto me, 01:04:54 all who are weary and heavy -laden and I will give you 01:04:59 rest. 01:05:00 Jesus wants to give you rest. 01:05:02 He wants to give you that rest that you need and long for. 01:05:06 Reach out to him. 01:05:08 He's at the door of your heart, knocking right now. 01:05:13 We want to thank you for your prayers and your financial 01:05:16 support that has made possible stories like the story of 01:05:20 Frank. 01:05:22 Thank you for being a part of 3ABN and 40 years of changing 01:05:27 lives for eternity. 01:05:35 Amen. 01:05:36 Thank you. 01:05:40 numerous times. 01:05:41 Sure has. 01:05:42 Where people willing to take their life. 01:05:45 I mean, think what a position you have to be in, where you 01:05:47 are in a mental state, and a lot of people, they have health 01:05:51 problems. 01:05:55 They're going through all kinds of things and people turn on 01:05:59 the television just in time. 01:06:01 There are other stories too, but this one, that's why our 01:06:04 preachers preaching Jesus. 01:06:06 And that's why we want them to preach, you know, friend, if 01:06:09 you, you know, as Elder Finley said once on another and we'll 01:06:12 show that another time. 01:06:14 If you're thinking about committing suicide, don't, 01:06:18 Jesus loves you. 01:06:20 Elder Carter here is saying, hey, Jesus loves you. 01:06:22 He died for you, made a plan of salvation for you. 01:06:25 And literally, I mean, God intervenes. 01:06:28 So when people want truth, we have to be there. 01:06:31 Years ago, people have said to me, well, I think you'd do much 01:06:34 better because when we first went on the air, there was not 01:06:37 very many 24, seven Christian stations. 01:06:40 You would have the Pat Robertson station where they do 01:06:44 some Christians, some not. 01:06:46 But for us, we couldn't. 01:06:47 I said, what if we got these phone calls? 01:06:50 I said, what if at two o'clock in the morning, we're showing 01:06:52 Popeye, right? 01:06:54 Or we're showing some Andy Griffith show, which is nothing 01:06:57 about the show, but a guy's getting ready to, a person 01:07:00 commit suicide, they'd go ahead and, you know, we have the 01:07:04 opportunity 24, seven. 01:07:06 That's right. 01:07:07 And so praise the Lord again. 01:07:08 Thank you for your support. 01:07:11 And I praise God for lives that have been changed. 01:07:13 And in this case, you know, saved from the grasp of the 01:07:17 devil. 01:07:18 Amen, praise the Lord for that. 01:07:20 And we think about that just in the nick of time, right, that 01:07:22 timing of someone speaking right into the camera lens and 01:07:25 someone. 01:07:25 Yep, it's a setup. 01:07:26 I love it, I love it. 01:07:28 We had the opportunity several years ago. 01:07:31 I talked to Herschel Crippen. 01:07:32 He's in Oklahoma, and he was kind enough to let us come to 01:07:36 his home there and record his testimony. 01:07:39 Let's go to that roll right now. 01:07:47 My name's Herschel Crippen. 01:07:50 Born in Texas, raised in Oklahoma. 01:07:53 And in my younger life, my dad was an old fan, so we moved 01:07:57 around a lot. 01:07:59 I went at least three schools a year, sometimes more, sometimes 01:08:03 less, but he finally got out of the oil field when I was nine 01:08:07 years old. 01:08:08 I didn't even begin to find the Lord until I was like three 01:08:12 score and 10, but you're allotted anything over that to 01:08:17 grace. 01:08:22 and we talked about an old pastor, but I found out where 01:08:25 he had a program called The Shepherd's Chap. 01:08:29 He had a 30-minute sermon and a 30-minute Q&A, people. 01:08:33 I didn't ask him questions about the Bible. 01:08:36 He was the Sabbath keeper, but I didn't know what the Sabbath 01:08:38 was then anyway, so it didn't really matter, you know, but I 01:08:43 started from around about 3 A.B .M. 01:08:44 when I first started here, and Ronnie Melaschenko had dark 01:08:49 hair. 01:08:51 Doug Batchelor looked like he was about 20-something years 01:08:54 old, you know, so when I was on old film footage, you know, it 01:08:58 was a sermon, it was Bible -based, and it went by the 01:09:01 Scripture, you know, and it got me hooked on watching them, and 01:09:07 that's a wonderful station now. 01:09:09 It's my church and my church family. 01:09:14 They're around 3 A.B.N. 01:09:15 They go by Scripture, you know, they back up what they're 01:09:17 saying with Scripture, so I can't get any truer than that. 01:09:22 I had a little voice telling me in my head, I'm sure it was the 01:09:26 Holy Spirit speaking to me, you know, but you need to get 01:09:30 baptized, so I talked to the pastor and told him my 01:09:35 situation, you know, I told him I watched 3 A.B.N., they went, 01:09:38 but I need to get baptized. 01:09:40 I told him I have some mental difficulties, and I told him I 01:09:42 could go to a regular church. 01:09:45 He agreed to baptize me, and he told me I was welcome to come 01:09:48 anytime I wanted to, and I told him I would if I could. 01:09:51 Unfortunately, I can't, so that's just, I guess that's a 01:09:55 thorn in my flesh. 01:09:56 Well, Paul had a thorn in his flesh. 01:09:58 I guess my head is my thorn in my flesh. 01:10:00 I have something wrong with me, but the Lord said, my grace is 01:10:04 sufficient to Paul, sufficient to Paul, sufficient to me, so I 01:10:09 live with what I have and do the best I can. 01:10:12 I watch 3 A.B.N. 01:10:17 every day. 01:10:21 They have for children's programs, exercise programs, 01:10:23 and eating programs, and I'm sharing that with my son and 01:10:26 his wife. 01:10:27 We've been having Bible study, have Bible study over here 01:10:30 every Sabbath that we can have one. 01:10:32 They're night and day different from when we first started 01:10:34 studying. 01:10:34 They've got interest going now. 01:10:40 So I'm thankful the Lord's kept me around long, be able to get 01:10:43 them interested. 01:10:46 I don't know how many days I've got left, but I hope they get 01:10:49 interested enough to where they can carry on whenever I'm out 01:10:52 of here. 01:10:54 Well, I'm hoping to get them to do, but they haven't quite got 01:10:58 into doing that yet, but they are learning. 01:11:01 The Lord is my strength. 01:11:03 I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for the Lord. 01:11:06 I'll guarantee you. 01:11:07 I was a lost soul for 70 years, so that's a long time to be a 01:11:11 lost soul, but I finally woke up and seen the light. 01:11:16 And I credit that to old Pastor Arnold Murray. 01:11:18 He's the one who first got me interested. 01:11:19 You know, he opened the door for me, and then 3ABN. 01:11:25 in, swung the door wide open for me. 01:11:29 What does it say in the book? 01:11:31 THE WORD will be spread to everybody before the end comes, 01:11:35 so they're making a pretty good effort of spreading it to 01:11:38 everybody. 01:11:39 Everybody wants to hear it anyway. 01:11:41 Everybody wants to accept it. 01:11:44 Most of the world's not going to. 01:11:45 We know that. 01:11:46 That's in the book. 01:11:47 I want to be one of those that gets raised up out of the 01:11:49 ground when the Lord comes and meet him in the air. 01:11:53 And my children around, all family ones that get caught up 01:11:58 after I go up, meet him in the air. 01:12:01 I encourage everybody to watch 3A.B.N. 01:12:04 No matter what church you go to, a preacher you listen to, 01:12:09 if you listen to 3A.B.N., you're gonna get the truth. 01:12:12 The only program on television, the only channel on television, 01:12:15 I should say, that I know 01:12:18 Preaches the truth, tells the truth, explains the truth, 01:12:22 according to the scripture or to the Bible. 01:12:25 They're not going by tradition of man. 01:12:27 They're not going by what their grandpa did or what their 01:12:31 grandma did or whatever they're going by the truth. 01:12:36 Truth shall make you free. 01:12:38 3A.B.N. 01:12:38 has been a blessing for me. 01:12:40 It'd be a blessing for anybody else. 01:12:43 For you to just open up your eyes and open up your heart. 01:12:46 If I'm the truth, it's like I'm theRE. 01:12:56 AMEN 01:12:57 Thank you, Brother Herschel. 01:12:58 What an incredible testimony. 01:13:00 I love his authenticity and just sharing about the truth. 01:13:05 And it keeps coming up through each one of these testimonies. 01:13:09 It's not our message. 01:13:10 It's from the Word of God. 01:13:12 He had me so relaxed. 01:13:14 It felt like I'd go sit down and chair beside him. 01:13:16 Maybe we split up a watermelon and eat and spit out the seeds, 01:13:20 you know? 01:13:21 Talk about the Bible and talk about the Lord. 01:13:23 Just great guy, kind of guy. 01:13:25 You just feel like you've known - All your life. 01:13:28 All your life. 01:13:28 You're right. 01:13:29 Thank you for being part of the 3A.B.N. 01:13:31 family, Brother Herschel and reminding us the importance of 01:13:34 the truth and the Word of God. 01:13:36 And that's what 3A.B.N. 01:13:37 proclaims. 01:13:41 This is Brother WInn Morris. 01:13:43 He came to our School of Discipleship and let's hear his 01:13:47 testimony. 01:13:56 March 27th, 2021 was a Saturday. 01:14:00 And my routine on Saturday was always to wake up and start 01:14:04 drinking. 01:14:04 That was my routine. 01:14:05 I worked during the week. 01:14:09 drinking as soon as I woke up, 6 a.m. 01:14:11 And my wife came in and about 10 o'clock. 01:14:14 So I'm pretty good and drunk at this point. 01:14:16 My wife came in and said, come to church with me. 01:14:20 Now normally I would have been like, no, I don't worry about 01:14:22 it. 01:14:24 Something in me just said, just go. 01:14:27 You know, in my drunken fog, I don't know, but something 01:14:30 pushed me to go. 01:14:32 So I decided to go. 01:14:33 And I walked into this church drunk. 01:14:36 I walked in completely drunk into this church. 01:14:39 And you know, I heard bits and pieces, but I'm kind of in my 01:14:42 fog. 01:14:46 And I'll never forget, he was standing up there and he said, 01:14:50 I used to be an alcoholic. 01:14:52 I used to have problem with drugs. 01:14:54 I used to be a luster. 01:14:57 And I remember I perked up in the pew and I said, that's me. 01:15:02 You know, I thought he was talking about me specifically. 01:15:05 So you know, every characteristic he was listing 01:15:07 off. 01:15:08 And so God at that point started really pressing on me. 01:15:12 And I felt it. 01:15:13 I just felt it in that moment. 01:15:14 And it just brought me to tears. 01:15:16 I didn't know what to do. 01:15:17 I didn't know what was happening. 01:15:19 Tried to carry that momentum, but into that following Monday 01:15:22 on March 29th, 2021, I came home after work and I was gonna 01:15:28 go back to my routine. 01:15:30 I went into my closet where I hid my alcohol bottles and I 01:15:33 had one left over with some alcohol in it. 01:15:35 And I started to drink it. 01:15:37 And this is kind of that time where you can look in your life 01:15:40 and go, you had that one moment, that special moment. 01:15:43 This was that moment in my life when God made it clear as I 01:15:47 could see, as if he was right in front of me. 01:15:50 He was like, hey, remember that moment we had just two days ago 01:15:54 in the church? 01:15:56 I'm right here. 01:15:57 I'm right here. 01:15:59 And I had never read my Bible. 01:16:01 I didn't understand biblical stories, but in that moment, as 01:16:04 clear as I could see, God was speaking to me saying, look, 01:16:07 there's two paths here. 01:16:09 You have two choices. 01:16:10 You can keep doing this, but it's a broad road you can take. 01:16:15 Many people are gonna take this road. 01:16:16 This is where a lot of people go. 01:16:17 It's very big, but there's this other path and it's small and 01:16:22 it's narrow. 01:16:23 It's gonna be a lot more difficult, but you need to 01:16:25 choose. 01:16:27 Which one are you gonna choose? 01:16:28 And I took the bottle, poured out the contents, put the 01:16:31 bottle down and I made a choice right there. 01:16:34 3ABN comes into my life whenever I had a sister at the 01:16:37 church tell me about the school of discipleship. 01:16:39 And she knew kind of where I was in my walk. 01:16:42 I was very on fire, but there's still a lot of things in my 01:16:44 life that I would consider I didn't understand is holding me 01:16:47 back to just take that extra step. 01:16:50 So the 3ABN school of discipleship really was the 01:16:55 push I needed. 01:16:56 And God knew that to get me there was gonna push me through 01:17:00 that. 01:17:00 So God sent me there. 01:17:02 So if I didn't come to the 3ABN school of discipleship, I think 01:17:06 I'd still kind of be stuck in that I'm trying to find my 01:17:08 place and I still wanted to move forward in my walk, but I 01:17:13 needed to find out these convictions were true or not. 01:17:16 And so without going to the school of discipleship at 3ABN, 01:17:20 I never would have punched through those. 01:17:22 I may have still held on to them now. 01:17:24 I'm sure I would have. 01:17:25 I would still be struggling with them. 01:17:27 But that school of discipleship was what I needed. 01:17:31 God knew that I needed that personally for me with the 01:17:34 roommates I had and the instructors I had, all that is 01:17:38 what I needed. 01:17:39 And that's what God provided. 01:17:41 And God knows that I was really searching and I just didn't 01:17:45 understand. 01:17:49 of discipleship and meeting my roommates and meeting them to 01:17:53 fellowship and meeting the instructors that allowed me to 01:17:56 push through those convictions. 01:18:03 Amen 01:18:03 Wow. 01:18:04 Praise God. 01:18:05 That was powerful, Wasn't it? 01:18:05 Yes. 01:18:10 God just meets you wherever you are. 01:18:12 Isn't that crucial? 01:18:17 up. 01:18:22 now. 01:18:28 start and to do, they're making such a profound impact on 01:18:32 people's lives. 01:18:33 So praise the Lord. 01:18:35 We love testimonies like that. 01:18:37 Oh, yeah. 01:18:38 Praise God. 01:18:38 That's proof. 01:18:40 Sometimes we feel like even people going to church, well, 01:18:43 I'm not good enough or I'm not, you know, into the Bible 01:18:46 enough. 01:18:47 I don't know enough or whatever. 01:18:49 No, today is the day of salvation. 01:18:51 So whatever. 01:18:52 And maybe you're thinking about going to church, but you're 01:18:55 waiting till you get good enough. 01:18:57 The devil will tell you, you never are. 01:18:58 And we're not until we give our lives to Jesus, but he's good 01:19:01 enough. 01:19:02 That's right. 01:19:05 evangelism, discipleship, because of like this, people 01:19:09 coming to this, we have some that not even members of our 01:19:13 particular church, but they come here and they're fed and 01:19:16 they're growing in the Lord. 01:19:18 And it's been a tremendous arm, you know, to the ministry. 01:19:22 Amen. 01:19:23 For sure. 01:19:24 Yeah, praise the Lord. 01:19:28 anniversary. 01:19:29 I like the little logo. 01:19:31 It says, changing lives, 40 years, changing lives for 01:19:34 eternity. 01:19:35 Right? 01:19:39 And our mission and our goal is to continue on till Jesus says, 01:19:43 okay, it's all done. 01:19:48 forward. 01:19:51 sling things at 3ABN, so to speak, but it's God's ministry. 01:19:54 You've told Jill and I that through the years, it's God's 01:19:58 ministry to show up at the ministry and God will take care 01:20:00 of everything. 01:20:04 the vision. 01:20:05 And that's the message from the Word of God. 01:20:08 One of the things I love about this ministry and I think we've 01:20:11 seen that this whole two and a half hours, is that God is in 01:20:14 the business of many broken people. 01:20:17 That's you at home. 01:20:19 That's us. 01:20:20 All of us are broken by sin and yet God wants to heal. 01:20:24 God wants to restore. 01:20:27 And the theme song of 3ABN, Mending Broken People, Mr. 01:20:31 Danny, for so many years. 01:20:33 We want to go to a roll right now with you all singing this. 01:20:37 I think it's at an afterglow from our camp meeting. 01:20:40 So let's go to that right now. 01:20:42 When I see my brother stumbles And all his dreams crumble Let 01:20:54 me be there For I, I too fail And when I see his heart 01:21:08 breaking Oh, from a wrong turn he's taken, hmm, let me be 01:21:18 there, for I remember, I remember well, sing with me, I want to spend my life, 01:21:25 mending broken people, I want to spend my life removing pain Lord let my words 01:21:34 heal a heart that hurts I want to spend my life mending broken people 01:22:09 When I see a life that's broken, Lord, give me words. 01:22:21 That should be spoken, for I, I Remember 01:22:32 the pain. 01:22:36 And when I see teardrops falling, Lord, remind me of my 01:22:46 calling. 01:22:48 Help me restore their faith in you. 01:22:57 I want to spend my life mending broken people. I want to spend my life removing pain. 01:23:09 Lord let my words heal a heart that hurts I want to spend my life mending broken people 01:23:32 I want to spend my life mending broken people. 01:23:43 I want to spend my life mending broken people. 01:24:01 Amen. 01:24:02 Amen. 01:24:03 Thank you so very much, Mr. Danny. 01:24:04 That is what the ministry of 3ABN is all about, mending 01:24:07 broken people. 01:24:08 And again, here at the close of this special program, we just 01:24:11 want to again say thank you for continuing to stand with the 01:24:14 ministry of 3ABN. 01:24:16 Thank you for standing on the Word of God. 01:24:19 That's what 3ABN is all about. 01:24:21 Thank you again for your support for the ministry of 01:24:23 3ABN. 01:24:27 will not be until eternity that we will fully grasp the full 01:24:31 impact of 3ABN. 01:24:34 So what a blessing to be a part of this ministry. 01:24:37 Amen. 01:24:37 I was just reminded of John 15. 01:24:40 I'm the vine, you are the branches. 01:24:42 You know that whole section. 01:24:43 But this verse, verse 16 says, you did not choose me, but I. 01:24:49 I chose you. 01:24:50 That's good. 01:24:51 And appointed you. 01:24:53 That you should go and bear fruit. 01:24:55 That's what God says to each one of us. 01:24:59 He chose us. 01:25:00 He wanted us. 01:25:01 He loves us. 01:25:03 He died for us. 01:25:04 He gave us the truth and the Word of God. 01:25:08 He anoints us with the Holy Spirit. 01:25:11 So you at home, no matter how lost and alone you feel right 01:25:16 now, the Lord Jesus loves you and He chose you. 01:25:21 Amen. 01:25:23 Mr. Danny, why don't you actually close us out? 01:25:24 We've got another couple of minutes or so at the end of 01:25:26 this program. 01:25:29 faithfulness. 01:25:32 it is the Lord. 01:25:33 But thank you for your faithfulness. 01:25:34 Listening to the call that God placed on your life. 01:25:38 To me, you said, Lord, here am I. 01:25:40 Send me. 01:25:41 Having no idea 40 years later, we'd still be doing this 01:25:44 faithfulness to God. 01:25:45 Praise the Lord for that. 01:25:46 But that we'd still be on this earth. 01:25:47 Here we are. 01:25:49 But God still called us to be faithful this very day too. 01:25:52 Yeah, the only thing I had going in my favor was I really 01:25:55 did want the truth to get out. 01:25:58 You know, to get out, I was traveling. 01:26:00 We were singing on different television stations. 01:26:03 And I would say where Seventh -day Adventist in the media. 01:26:07 Shouldn't we be the heads and not the tails if we have an end 01:26:10 times message for an end times people. 01:26:13 And I would say, Lord, well, why doesn't the church, you 01:26:15 know, the church should be doing this and the church 01:26:17 should. 01:26:21 But when you do it, you have to be ready. 01:26:23 But Lord, it's like he impressed me. 01:26:25 Why don't you, I want you to build a television station that 01:26:28 will reach the world with an undiluted three angels 01:26:31 messages. 01:26:32 One that would counteract the counterfeit. 01:26:34 Didn't even know what all of that meant, but I knew it was 01:26:36 the Lord. 01:26:37 I went Isaiah 8:20 to the law and the testimony. 01:26:40 They speak not according to this word. 01:26:42 There's no light in them. 01:26:43 I said, if there was a television station giving the 01:26:46 Bible message and end times message to the world, would it 01:26:49 be the Lord or the devil. 01:26:50 So that's really all I did, Yvonne, was just, you know, 01:26:54 common sense on that point and said, Lord, I'll go forward. 01:26:57 But you have to supply every need. 01:27:00 And God has done that. 01:27:01 So I want to encourage you. 01:27:03 God has something special for you to do that we are living in 01:27:07 the closing moments of our history. 01:27:09 I praise him for 40 years of the past, but look forward to 01:27:12 whatever future that some of us have here should the Lord 01:27:16 tarry. 01:27:16 But God has a plan for you. 01:27:18 If you're not a Christian, please give your life to Jesus. 01:27:21 Confess your sins. 01:27:22 He is faithful and just to forgive you from your sins and 01:27:25 cleanse you from all unrighteousness. 01:27:28 And I want to thank my wife, Yvonne. 01:27:31 What a blessing that she has been for so many years in the 01:27:34 ministry that you're always encouraging and thank you so 01:27:37 much. 01:27:38 So you got a few seconds. 01:27:39 Take us right out. 01:27:41 I'm just grateful for 3ABN and for all of you. 01:27:44 We cannot do this without you. 01:27:46 Remember that God does have a plan and He's going to reveal 01:27:50 it to you. 01:27:51 God bless you. 01:27:51 Amen. |
