00:10 Hello, and welcome back to the 2nd hour of 3ABN Behind the
00:14 Scenes. 00:17 And thank you again for being a part of the 3ABN family. 00:20 We're just kind of maybe hanging out in your living 00:22 room. 00:24 And it's a blessing to be able to be together for one cause 00:28 and that's to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the 00:31 world. 00:32 Thank you again for your continued prayers and your 00:35 financial support for this ministry. 00:37 Actually, it's your ministry, 3ABN. 00:39 And we couldn't do it without you. 00:41 And of course, the Lord Jesus Christ is the captain of this 00:44 ship, 3ABN. 00:45 And we just all want to be faithful, don't we? 00:47 Faithful to the very end. 00:49 Yes, the world seems to be in chaos and there are a lot of 00:51 things going on. 00:52 But what a message we all have to share. 00:55 That's from the Word of God. 00:57 And that's one that Jesus Christ will rescue us from this 01:00 world. 01:04 moment of every day. 01:06 Joe, we have switched out some of our 3ABN family here. 01:09 And boy, it's just great to see everyone here this evening. 01:11 We have. 01:11 We added a few more. 01:12 You can see we're kind of tight around the table here. 01:14 Yay! 01:14 It's fun. 01:15 It's family time. 01:17 We have Pastor John and Angela Loma. 01:19 Can you all look at all cute with the green? 01:21 Yeah, green tie, yes. 01:22 Green, green. 01:23 Yes, it's great. 01:24 Thank you. 01:24 Good to be here. 01:26 We're trying to look like we're a couple. 01:30 Which has been the case for 41 years. 01:31 I was going to ask. 01:32 Yes, it's just over 40. 01:33 Is it 41? 01:34 41. 01:34 It's a long time. 01:35 That is a long time. 01:37 You want to keep going? 01:37 I want to keep going. 01:39 I do. 01:40 Of course, you're the Director of World Evangelism for 3ABN. 01:42 And of course, also the Senior Pastor of our Thompsonville 01:45 Seventh -day Adventist Church which is our local conference 01:47 church right here. 01:48 Right across the street here from the studio. 01:50 That's right. 01:53 locally for, my goodness, over 20 years. 01:55 21, 21. 01:56 But in ministry as a whole, almost, what, 30? 01:59 37, a total of 38 years. 02:01 It's a long time. 02:01 It's a long time. 02:02 It's a long time in ministry. 02:04 Thank you for your faithfulness. 02:05 Of course, you, Angie, are an editor and a host, producer, 02:08 there in radio. 02:09 Yes, yes. 02:10 I love my work. 02:12 I love what I do, editing, hosting. 02:15 And just, it's ministry behind the scenes because you're not 02:18 in front of a television. 02:19 So, we hear from people from all over who are blessed while 02:23 they're driving, truck drivers, so many people are blessed 02:28 while they're listening to radio. 02:29 Absolutely. 02:30 Thank you. 02:31 It's good to be a part of the family. 02:32 Radio is not obsolete. 02:34 It's very relevant. 02:35 That's right. 02:36 No, no, amen. 02:37 Podcasts and all that is really relevant today. 02:41 Well, so glad you're here tonight coming around the 02:43 table, Pastor Ryan Day. 02:45 And Ryan, you are the general manager of Praising Music 02:48 Network and glad you're here tonight. 02:50 Amen. 02:53 able to share this with family. 02:54 And we're going to be talking about the School of 02:56 Discipleship. 02:56 Oh, yes, sir. 02:57 We are excited about that. 02:59 We're going to actually launch with that in just a moment. 03:01 Coming around the table, Ian Vandervalk, and we're so glad 03:04 to have you here tonight. 03:05 You wear several hats at 3BN, your producer. 03:09 He actually answers some prayer calls upstairs in Pastoral. 03:12 And you keep track of, I don't know what the title is, but 03:15 like all our deadlines. 03:16 Yeah, all the projects that we have for 3BN, which is many. 03:21 But yeah, I just assist our production manager, Jorge, with 03:24 that and just kind of, you know, give him a heads up on 03:27 certain projects that we have coming in deadlines and just 03:30 making sure we try to meet them to the best. 03:32 But, you know, production is ever-changing and sometimes, 03:35 you know, it can be difficult to follow. 03:36 But, you know, we do our best. 03:38 Yeah, because you deal with a lot of different work with a 03:39 lot of the networks here, of course, 3BN. 03:41 So there's a lot of moving parts and pieces to hold. 03:44 And he's the assistant coordinator for SAAD. 03:46 That's right. 03:47 And Ryan, the coordinator for SAAD, thank you. 03:50 Absolutely. 03:51 And then last but not least, right next to me, my sister 03:54 Addie Wiesner. 03:55 And Addie, could be a newer face for you here at 3ABN, not 03:59 that she's new to 3ABN. 04:02 But you started in our programming department and then 04:05 transitioned to our donation center department. 04:08 And recently you stepped in as our manager. 04:10 So we're so glad to have you here tonight. 04:12 Praise the Lord. 04:13 Thanks for this opportunity to be here, Ms. Jill. 04:16 Absolutely. 04:19 many years? 04:20 Since 2019. 04:21 Wow. 04:22 Has it been that long? 04:23 Yeah, time goes by in a hurry. 04:25 Time flies. 04:26 He's our church pianist too. 04:28 That's right. 04:30 All wear many hats. 04:32 It's a blessing to be part of evangelism. 04:34 But Jill, maybe we should just talk just briefly before we go 04:36 into the School of Discipleship. 04:37 And I know we were talking at the end of the first hour and 04:40 that was about one of these kind of incredible evangelism 04:43 opportunities that we have here. 04:44 You want to talk to us a little bit about the details in case 04:46 you're just now joining us for the second hour and didn't hear 04:50 what happened in the first hour. 04:52 Absolutely. 04:55 You can get one case of 200 booklets. 05:00 We're going to split the case. 05:01 100 booklets of the truth about abortion. 05:04 100 booklets about can the Christian Church affirm LGBTQ? 05:08 And we're going to slide in, since we have to open the box 05:11 anyway to split up the case. 05:13 We're going to slide in the CD. 05:15 Brand new. 05:19 Christmas hymns. 05:21 Just religious and it's the orchestra, the Prague Symphony 05:24 Orchestra. 05:28 instrumental orchestra music. 05:30 So all of that for the cost of $30 for shipping. 05:34 We'll send that to you. 05:35 You can call the call center right now. 05:37 618-627-4651. 05:41 That's 618-627-4651. 05:45 And we also have, we talked with Aunt Francine the first 05:47 hour about her brand new Bible study guides that just came in 05:51 today in the shipment. 05:53 So you can get, this is a quarter with 13 lessons in 05:58 here, or you could get all four quarters because we have four 06:02 of them. 06:03 So, and this is really about salvation and finding Jesus. 06:07 This is that first year cycle there. 06:10 So when you call us at 3Band, we can give you details on that 06:13 as well. 06:16 say a good suggested donation price for these Bible lessons 06:19 that Jill was just mentioning. 06:21 To get a whole quarter, I believe is just $25 suggested 06:24 donation that includes all four quarters and the shipping to 06:27 anywhere here in the United States of America, so well 06:30 done. 06:33 and it's got some, I remember as a kid, I love stickers. 06:35 You see that, yeah, all these fun stickers. 06:37 There's a little fish and looks like ginger there wearing a 06:39 little sailor hat. 06:40 And that goes along with each lesson. 06:43 It's in a nice folder, all the lessons are in here, but just 06:45 really fantastic. 06:48 one, you can do one quarter at a time and that's of course $10 06:52 suggested donation includes the shipping to you as well. 06:55 But I tell you, we believe in young people here at 3ABN and 06:58 just appreciate the work of Aunt Francine and her team to 07:01 put these together because this is just fantastic. 07:04 I mean, you're looking at the illustrations and stuff we're 07:05 looking at earlier, you were too Pastor Ryan. 07:07 I mean, well done, very well done. 07:09 You know, when the Bible says train up a child in the way 07:12 they should go, this is a grand opportunity. 07:14 And I think Ryan was talking about that. 07:16 What was the lessons that people often the youth... 07:18 Well, for evangelistically, the Truth for Youth series has been 07:20 very popular. 07:23 legitimately for younger children. 07:26 And when you said quarters, some people might not know what 07:28 that meant. 07:29 You know, the Sabbath School lesson for the Adventist Church 07:31 is done four times a year, 13 weeks, summarizing to 52. 07:35 So one, two, three, four quarters. 07:37 And so when Greg and Joe mentioned the quarters, every 07:40 13 weeks you can start a new lesson study and a new theme 07:43 and it's beautifully put together. 07:45 If I was a kid, I'd study it. 07:46 Oh yeah, there's some fun little games in there too. 07:49 And so yeah, just great for the young people. 07:51 So yeah, as Jill mentioned, as you call the call center this 07:53 evening, the graphics there on the bottom of the screen, 618 07:55 -627 -4651. 07:58 Angie, I wanted to literally say that because of radio. 08:00 Thank you. 08:04 screen. 08:05 That's right. 08:05 So they're open this evening. 08:07 And again, as we ended that first hour, as Mr. Danny, you 08:10 heard, yeah, I'm going to say his appeal for funds for the 08:13 ministry of 3ABN. 08:15 We thank you again in advance for supporting this ministry. 08:18 It's because of you that 3ABN is able to reach the entire 08:22 world. 08:22 It's amazing. 08:23 10 networks. 08:25 That's television networks. 08:26 5 radio networks reaching the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a 08:31 week, 365 days a year. 08:34 It costs money. 08:35 We all know that, right? 08:36 And so thank you that 3ABN has been able to expand and able to 08:40 go forward in these times. 08:41 So again, thank you so much for that. 08:43 So let's start with 3ABN School of Discipleship. 08:46 We've had a couple already, but we have our upcoming school in 08:49 March. 08:49 So Brian, we'll start with you. 08:50 Talk to us about that. 08:51 Yeah, we're excited about the upcoming 3ABN School of 08:55 Discipleship. 08:55 We call it S.O.D. 08:57 for short, S.O.D. 08:58 And we, this will be our fourth class. 09:01 We've had one last year in October. 09:04 We had another one this year in March. 09:06 And then we had a July session as well. 09:08 And so we're preparing for March 14 through 23. 09:12 Put that on your calendars. 09:13 March 14 through 23, right here on 3ABN campus. 09:18 The website is open. 09:19 So go to 3ABNSOD.com. 09:22 You can apply today. 09:24 And of course, that's a one -week session. 09:27 We house you here. 09:28 We feed you here. 09:29 We open up the spiritual fire hydrant. 09:32 And for an entire week, it's called an intensive for a 09:35 reason. 09:36 Not that it's so intensive that you can't take it. 09:38 It's intensive in the sense that, again, you receive 09:40 probably a full semester worth of information, and probably a 09:45 little bit more than a full semester worth of information, 09:48 and transformation. 09:50 I don't want to say information because I love the name of 09:52 Pastor Loma King's class, which by the way, he's going to be an 09:56 instructor this year as well. 09:57 He was for our March session this year. 10:00 And for March of next year, he will be as well. 10:02 From information to transformation, which I'm going 10:04 to give you an opportunity to talk about. 10:05 But it's not just about information. 10:07 We're all about transformation and making disciples for Jesus 10:11 Christ. 10:15 from how to study the Bible, where Pastor James Rafferty 10:18 takes you step by step through how to properly study the 10:21 Bible. 10:24 How to be the best evangelistic disciple possible. 10:28 How do we share Christ? 10:30 How do we share the good news of Jesus Christ in an 10:32 appropriate, a tactful, methodical way that we can 10:36 actually win souls for Jesus Christ. 10:38 We'll dive into some church history. 10:39 We're going to be getting into the health message with Miss 10:42 Recy Rafferty. 10:45 class. 10:48 something special as well this year. 10:51 We might even be able to get my little brother Dakota back 10:53 here. 10:57 some public evangelism presentations. 11:00 And we're going to get into biblical apologetics. 11:02 Again, this is a power-packed week of transformative 11:07 experience in Jesus Christ. 11:09 Many people ask me, I want to be stronger in the Lord. 11:12 I want to take my relationship with Jesus to the next level. 11:15 I want to be the best follower and disciple I can be. 11:18 That's what the 3ABN School of Discipleship is all about. 11:21 And so again, March 14 to 23, go to 3ABNSOD.com and you can 11:28 click on the little tab at the top that says, apply, and you 11:31 can apply for the school today. 11:33 The deadline is February 28th, February 28th. 11:37 So if you're going to send in that application, get it as 11:39 soon as possible. 11:40 We've already started accepting some people. 11:43 We still have some spots available. 11:45 So get those applications in as soon as possible. 11:47 It's a great opportunity for you to send your grandson, your 11:50 son, your daughter, a family member, even yourself. 11:52 Come out as a family. 11:54 We will accept anyone and everyone that is hungry and 11:57 excited for Jesus Christ. 11:58 Of course, there is a vetting process. 12:00 And of course, we do have references that we ask you to 12:04 send in. 12:07 follow. 12:10 And so, Ian, if you want to tell us a little bit about what 12:12 they can experience when they come here, day-to-day 12:14 activities, and what makes this program really special. 12:17 You know, it was, I want to kind of piggyback on what you 12:20 were saying because just the other day I had a phone call 12:22 from a woman and she was asking me and she's telling me, you 12:25 know, questions or asking me questions about the school 12:27 discipleship. 12:28 But she's a Bible worker in her conference and she, but one of 12:31 the things that she said is she was like, Ian, I don't want to 12:33 be just about numbers. 12:35 You know, I don't want to just be giving Bible studies just to 12:38 get people into the church. 12:39 I really want to know what to do more. 12:41 And I said, I know exactly what you're talking about. 12:43 You know, you want to know how to transform hearts and not 12:46 just bring people into the church and have them, you know, 12:48 they come in. 12:50 And if they're not properly nurtured, you know, they're 12:52 going to leave the church eventually. 12:54 And that's really what this school discipleship is about. 12:57 It's not just about numbers. 12:58 It's not just about how to give a Bible study, but how to reach 13:01 the heart of those that you are, you know, in contact with. 13:04 And that's really what the school discipleship is all 13:07 about. 13:08 So to further continue about what it's all about. 13:10 So what you're going to do is when you come here, it's about 13:12 10 to 11 days that you're going to spend here at the School of 13:15 Discipleship. 13:18 just getting registered, getting your SOD care package 13:21 because you're back at school again and we're going to treat 13:23 you kind of a little bit like that, too. 13:25 Even one of the we've had several students come in here 13:27 and feel like, you know, when they get their backpack and 13:29 they're getting their water bottles and other other things, 13:31 they're like, wow, I feel like I'm in school again. 13:33 I said, well, you are, you know, for the next, you know, a 13:36 little over a week, you're back in school, you're back in 13:38 training. 13:39 And but then the next day that you spend here is Sabbath and 13:42 you're going to spend Sabbath with us. 13:43 You're going to have church with us, get the fellowship and 13:46 get to know one another. 13:47 We have a little, you know, meet and greet game that we 13:49 kind of play just to kind of, you know, bring the camaraderie 13:51 and everybody just get to know one another. 13:53 But then Sunday, that's kind of when we hit the ground running 13:56 and very early in the morning, it's one of the, you know, best 13:59 things that we've incorporated. 14:01 We didn't do it in the first class and it's a shame that we 14:03 didn't. 14:07 hour of prayer time and which is headed out by Daniel Perrin 14:10 and he does an incredible job. 14:13 It's not just, you know, coming together and praying, but he 14:15 actually gives little exercises to expound your prayer life. 14:19 You know, sometimes we feel like our prayer life just, you 14:21 know, falls a little short or maybe it's missing something. 14:24 So we've incorporated this hour of prayer time before breakfast 14:27 where it just kind of challenges you a little bit and 14:30 moving forward in your prayer life and your communication 14:32 with God. 14:37 prayer and one thing I think was when we're in prayer, we 14:40 feel like we're bringing God down to us. 14:42 But in Steps to Christ, it tells us that prayer is 14:44 bringing us up to God. 14:45 And that's really what this time, and it's been 14:47 transformative. 14:51 people have said, you know, what have you enjoyed the most? 14:53 What was something that stood out to you inside and it was 14:55 that hour of prayer time because it really just prepared 14:58 them for the day to bring in, you know, we're going to do a 15:02 lot of spiritual training. 15:03 So you have to be spiritual grounded when you come to the 15:06 School of Discipleship. 15:11 But right after that, we're going to have breakfast, 15:13 incredible vegetarian meals. 15:15 And we have even an amazing testimony. 15:18 I forget which class it was, but there was a gentleman who 15:20 came here and he was on medication for being diabetic. 15:24 And because of the food that we are providing here, he actually 15:28 came off of his medication. 15:29 He was no longer needing it. 15:31 And still to this day, his numbers have improved. 15:34 It's just an incredible testimony. 15:36 Now, that's not what the School of Discipleship is all about, 15:41 but it's just a testimony of the, you know, everything is 15:45 all encompassing. 15:46 It's the prayer, it's the food, it's the fellowship, it's the 15:49 time we spend together. 15:50 And then after breakfast, you're going to go all through 15:52 class about four hours worth of class. 15:55 And then you'll have lunch that we provide again and then 15:58 another about four hours of class. 15:59 But then afterwards, this is one of the things that I think 16:03 that this course kind of separates itself from others. 16:05 Not that, you know, we're better than any other course. 16:08 You know, there's other evangelism courses that are out 16:10 there and they're all great. 16:11 They all serve a purpose, just like there's several different 16:14 types of Bible studies that are out there and they all reach 16:16 people in different ways. 16:17 But here at the School of Discipleship, all of the staff 16:21 and instructors, we set an hour or the evening aside to spend 16:26 about 30 minutes or so with an individual with that one-on-one 16:30 discipleship with you because you might have some questions 16:34 that you want answered. 16:38 ministry or I don't know really where I'm at. 16:41 You know, we've had individuals come and just ask all sorts of 16:43 different questions and you get to spend that one-on-one time 16:47 with the instructors to have that discipleship session. 16:51 And it really, I think, sets the course apart because we 16:55 care. 16:56 We're not just here to teach you. 16:57 We're here to guide you and mentor you. 16:59 Even in your own maybe personal matters, we've had some come 17:02 here that are looking for healing. 17:04 You know, they're kind of maybe stuck in a rut or, you know, 17:07 they're spiritually just, you know, kind of haven't been on 17:11 fire or they're looking for that next step and what they 17:14 should do. 17:15 And they come here and they're just rejuvenated. 17:17 And it's just, it's amazing. 17:19 We have so many testimonies that have come out of the 17:21 School of Discipleship. 17:22 So how much is it to attend if someone says, I want to attend. 17:25 How much is it to attend the School of Discipleship? 17:26 So that's usually the next question once we give them all 17:29 the information is how much is this going to cost. 17:30 Well, so we have two different options for you. 17:33 So option one is that we will provide housing for you here on 17:37 campus at 3ABN, as well as provide the foods and the 17:40 material, which you're going to get a lot of material 17:42 digitally, as well as some handouts. 17:45 And you might get some extra goodies from 3ABN if you come 17:48 as well. 17:52 Now, if you have a camper or RV, maybe you've been here for 17:56 camp meeting before in the past and you know that we have 17:58 hookups here for you. 18:00 If you bring a camper or RV, then that would be option two. 18:04 And that is a suggested donation of $300. 18:07 So that, again, provides the meals that you're going to 18:10 have. 18:13 one, we house you in our apartments. 18:14 Option two is you come with a camper or RV. 18:18 And those are the two for you. 18:20 Great price. 18:22 Yeah. 18:23 If you think about it, the 10 or 11 days that you're here, 18:26 two meals a day, plus covering the tuition and the course 18:31 material and everything else, the backpacks, the side care 18:35 packages that you receive. 18:37 Even housing. 18:38 I know. 18:42 continue to feed you spiritually and be able to go 18:44 out and make more disciples for Christ. 18:47 Yeah, and these are not 3ABN tents. 18:49 These are 3ABN apartments too. 18:51 We're not saying we're providing housing for you. 18:53 We're not putting you in tents or anything. 18:54 These are our apartments that we put guests in that come to 18:57 do today programs and such. 18:59 So yeah, it's nice and they're roommates. 19:00 We figure that all out. 19:02 Yeah, it's a great time of fellowship, getting to know 19:04 each other. 19:07 like from talking about from the previous solid classes, 19:09 with you guys, the leadership, there's communication that 19:12 continues even to this very day. 19:13 And that's great because to me, it's like a community. 19:15 It's a fellowship. 19:18 Go ahead, Brian. 19:18 No, I just want to make mention. 19:23 believe is a blessing. 19:25 I mentioned earlier that this is an equivalent of like 19:28 receiving a full semester worth of instruction and maybe a 19:31 little bit more. 19:32 Having been a college student, I know how much college classes 19:35 it could be, anywhere from 400 or 500 plus per credit. 19:40 One class, $1,500 and just at a university somewhere, depending 19:44 on where you go. 19:45 But in this case, you're getting... 19:47 To me, the price in and of itself is worth the instruction 19:51 you're going to get when you come here, the incredible 19:53 experience and the information. 19:55 And it's not just information. 19:57 And Pastor Loma King, I just want you to take just a moment 20:00 and talk about your class because he brought this idea to 20:02 me. 20:05 to transformation. 20:06 It's one thing to have a head knowledge. 20:07 It's one thing to come, you know, pack all this information 20:10 in your head. 20:13 practical life, it means nothing. 20:15 So Pastor, talk about your class. 20:16 Yeah, a few years ago, I had an epiphany that really has 20:19 changed my walk even with the Lord, our marriage, my approach 20:23 to ministry at church. 20:25 And this has been a Mark 2, 22, where the Bible says, and no 20:28 one puts new wine in old wine skins or else the new wine 20:32 bursts and old wine skins are ruined. 20:35 But the new wine must be put into new wine skins. 20:40 It didn't say should be, must be. 20:42 And I thought about what we're sharing with them is the new 20:44 wine, the information. 20:45 Wine has a property that we cannot remove from it and it 20:49 ferments. 20:50 Now consider this for a moment. 20:52 Say before you're transformed and your wine skin has been 20:55 poured, the world has been poured into your worldly wine 20:57 skin. 20:58 And after a while, it hardens on the inside, like the Bible, 21:02 the leather wine skins of old. 21:04 It hardens and then all of a sudden, you get this new wine 21:08 pouring into old wine skins and the wine skins cannot flex. 21:12 It's inflexible, it's hard. 21:13 So the new wine does not absorb. 21:15 But it's going to ferment. 21:17 That means what is the fermenting process? 21:19 All of a sudden you realize the depth of the Sabbath message, 21:23 the depth of the sanctuary message. 21:25 It starts fermenting but you can't handle it because you 21:29 can't flex. 21:30 You can't grow with it and it destroys you. 21:33 So I've seen so many people baptized and joined the church 21:35 and after a while they're gone because their wine skins have 21:39 not been transformed. 21:41 So new wine, we're talking about not only informing you 21:44 but transforming you. 21:45 And we start with the topic on human nature. 21:48 What is human nature? 21:49 What do we bring to the table? 21:50 Each one of us has a human nature. 21:52 Oswald Chambliss called it individuality blocks our 21:56 spirituality. 21:57 And that's always the block. 21:59 So we don't want to just tell you what to believe but how 22:02 does that transfer from your brain to a new life? 22:04 So we talk about human nature, then desire, then will, then 22:08 justification, sanctification and finally baptism. 22:11 And it's in that order because why get baptized if you don't 22:14 understand what it's all about? 22:16 It's not just... 22:17 And too many people stop at membership. 22:21 Membership requires no denial. 22:23 But to be a disciple, one must deny himself. 22:25 Of what? 22:27 Of that individuality that we bring in which is that human 22:29 nature that refuses to flex when new information comes in. 22:34 So the information be transformed by the renewing of 22:37 your mind. 22:39 Renewing our mind will alter this information but it leads 22:41 to transformation. 22:42 And finally, the transformation is seen in Scripture. 22:46 1 John 3, 2, Brother and now we are children of God but it has 22:50 not yet been revealed what we shall be like these next three. 22:54 But we know that when he is revealed we shall be like him 22:57 for we shall see him as he is. 22:59 So this revelation comes and how do you practice? 23:02 I'm going to include another part in that. 23:04 I did a sermon not too long ago called the practice. 23:07 Practice makes permanent. 23:10 Not perfect. 23:11 That's right. 23:12 Practice makes permanent. 23:13 What you practice, he who practices righteousness is 23:17 righteous just as he is righteous. 23:19 So it's going to be very thought provoking but also very 23:22 transforming. 23:23 Can husband and wife come to? 23:25 Of course. 23:27 We've had many couples come through. 23:28 Many, many couples. 23:29 We've had families come through, aunts, uncles, nephews 23:32 and nieces and parents and children and yeah, absolutely. 23:36 We've had from 16 year olds and the 16 year old came with their 23:40 mother. 23:40 Right, they need a shepherd. 23:41 Right, it has to be a family member. 23:43 So we had 16 year old all the way up to I believe was 86. 23:49 So you're never too old, too young to learn something new. 23:52 I mean, even though the lady who was 86 she said I don't 23:55 know why God sent me here. 23:56 But then she found out afterwards and God just 23:58 catapulted her into a way to witness to others that only she 24:01 could. 24:02 Wow, and I know we have a video. 24:04 Do we want to go to that video on Saul? 24:06 Absolutely, it's better to see the video rather than me saying 24:08 everything about the school. 24:10 You'll actually get to hear it from the student's perspective. 24:12 Okay, all right, let's go to that video roll right now. 24:26 I've always wanted to really learn how to dig into the Bible 24:31 and be a better Bible student. 24:34 I want to know the Bible. 24:36 I want to know God's Word. 24:38 That's Him talking to me. 24:40 As I've become an adult, I've been searching and trying to 24:45 find what's truth and where I stand with the Lord. 24:53 I never really thought that God was an option for me. 24:57 Being a drug addict and a prostitute, people think that's 25:00 what you'll always be. 25:02 I feel like He led me here because He knew that I would 25:06 learn and hear the right things, the things that I 25:09 needed to hear. 25:12 I have gained so much from all of the classes, every single 25:16 one of them. 25:18 The staff is very generous with their time. 25:22 They are able to be here after hours when people have 25:27 additional questions, they have additional problems that they 25:30 need help with, and it's been really good to have that 25:34 resource and to be one-on-one with them. 25:38 The way that SAAD has strengthened me is just 25:41 learning to communicate with God, to help us in our daily 25:46 walk and through Bible study and prayer and how we relate to 25:51 others. 25:54 If I were to describe SAAD in one word, that one word would 25:59 be fellowship. 26:00 Impactful. 26:01 Needed. 26:03 Intense. 26:04 Share. 26:04 Encouraging. 26:05 Power-packed. 26:08 Spiritual. 26:10 It's such a spiritual experience. 26:12 This has been such a spiritual experience. 26:14 Everybody needs kind of a jolt. 26:16 Everybody needs to plug into the Holy Spirit and be revived. 26:20 You will meet the Holy Spirit here if you have not met Him. 26:23 Go to SAAD. 26:25 Make that impact in your life. 26:27 What I will leave with, the most important thing, is a 26:30 stronger relationship with God. 26:32 Don't feel like that you can't learn the Bible. 26:35 Don't feel like that you can't do anything because SAAD is 26:40 made for you. 26:48 Amen. 26:49 I encourage you to go to 3ABNSAAD.COM. 26:53 I encourage you to sign up, join. 26:55 What an incredible family it becomes. 26:57 I know Greg and I had the opportunity just to go over for 27:01 a few meals or a few worships and just to interact with the 27:05 team. 27:05 It becomes a family. 27:07 We spend that week together in prayer and Bible study and 27:10 fellowship. 27:11 Your life will never be the same. 27:13 It is life-transformative to come to a 3ABN School of 27:18 Discipleship. 27:22 fill out the application. 27:24 Is it international? 27:26 Sister Kay came from Australia. 27:28 She flew in from Australia for SAAD. 27:30 So you can come from overseas. 27:33 And we had someone from England come as well. 27:35 We did. 27:36 You're right. 27:37 So Ryan, again, what's that date? 27:39 You said there was a deadline earlier. 27:40 So March 14-23 is the actual class itself or the session, 27:44 but our deadline ends two weeks before Registration Day. 27:48 Registration Day is March 14. 27:50 So two weeks before that would be February 28. 27:52 So get your application in as soon as possible. 27:56 And just a couple of things I just want to mention here. 27:58 When you go on and fill out the application form, read it 28:01 thoroughly, give us... 28:03 There's some questions that we have that we want feedback from 28:06 you. 28:07 It helps us to determine. 28:08 When we get multiple applicants, we pray over these. 28:11 This isn't just like, oh, we just select at random. 28:14 We pray over these. 28:14 We want God to do. 28:15 But we can only accept so many students. 28:18 So usually our cap is about 40 students total, just because we 28:22 want it to be personal. 28:23 And our classroom is only so big at this point. 28:26 But definitely read through that application thoroughly, 28:29 answer the questions thoroughly, and send in those 28:32 references. 28:35 got to provide email addresses and content information for 28:37 your references. 28:38 And once you submit that application and pay your 28:42 application fee, which is I think it's a suggested donation 28:44 of $30, once that application fee is accepted and the 28:48 application is submitted, it's going to send an automatic 28:52 email to your references, whoever those references are. 28:56 And what we ask for is at least a pastor or head elder of your 29:00 church. 29:01 And of course, a non-related friend or someone that's not a 29:05 direct family member. 29:07 So two references. 29:08 And you want to make sure as soon as you submit that, you 29:10 contact your references and say, hey, you should have 29:12 received an email. 29:13 Can you fill out these references? 29:14 And send them in. 29:16 I get people call all the time, weeks will go by, few days will 29:19 go by, hey, I haven't heard anything back, and I'm in 29:21 there, I'm like, yeah, we're still waiting on these 29:23 references. 29:27 sure we get everyone in there that's supposed to be. 29:29 But again, fill out that application, 3ABNSOD.com. 29:34 So go there, fill out that application. 29:36 And I have yet to hear of anyone who's come through the 29:39 program that said, you know, this really wasn't for me, 29:41 really wasn't what I was expecting it to be, and didn't 29:43 really work out the way I was hoping. 29:46 It wasn't as big of a blessing as you guys made it out to be. 29:48 Haven't heard any of that. 29:50 Every single person that's come through has said, this has been 29:53 incredible. 29:54 It's changed my life. 29:55 Do you have to be Adventists to come? 29:56 Absolutely not. 29:58 We've had non-Adventists come through the program and these 30:00 people leave saying, wow! 30:02 I was thinking of a gentleman that was in our last class, a 30:06 non -Adventist. 30:07 He signed up for one of the personal evening sessions. 30:11 And just to, by the way, just to recap on that, it's from, we 30:14 usually, all the staff and teachers give their available 30:18 time in the evening. 30:19 So in the evening, we all dedicate about three hours. 30:21 And so we break up those three hours into half hour sessions 30:26 where each student can sign up if they want to, either as a 30:29 small group or individually with the instructors. 30:32 And you can meet with one of the instructors. 30:35 You can meet with more than one of the instructors if you want 30:37 to do that. 30:38 But the idea would be is you get that time to ask questions, 30:41 to receive prayer, some spiritual counsel from 30:44 Scripture. 30:45 We had one gentleman come through. 30:46 He signed up for one of those sessions. 30:48 And I'll never forget, he came through. 30:50 And very interestingly enough, he was one of the, he was, I'm 30:53 not going to say his name or which state, but he was a 30:56 special religious, I think it was Jewish liaison for, and he 31:03 came through and he heard our message on the rapture and he 31:06 heard our message on Israel and prophecy. 31:09 And he says down with me, he says, I've got a lot of 31:12 rethinking to do. 31:14 It was just so powerful to see the Holy Spirit. 31:16 It was so open, right? 31:17 It was so amazing. 31:20 We don't force anything on, we don't make you feel bad for it. 31:23 You know, you may come in with different beliefs and you may 31:26 be struggling, but we don't just shove the truth down your 31:29 throat. 31:33 openly, boldly with love and compassion. 31:35 And we let the Holy Spirit do His job. 31:37 And so it's just a powerful, powerful program. 31:39 We want to include you and encourage you to come and hear 31:43 the good news and learn how to be the best disciple and to 31:46 share that incredible good news. 31:48 So there's no age limit. 31:49 No age limit. 31:50 No age limit. 31:51 But under 16, under 18, under 18. 31:53 Shaperon. 31:54 Yes. 31:57 you can't attend, but you do want to get involved somehow, 32:02 we do have a worthy fund or worthy student fund set up that 32:05 we have used for students that may not be able to afford to 32:09 come, but when we, you know, going through their 32:10 application, you know, as side administration goes through it, 32:13 we just say this person has to be here. 32:15 So you can get involved by changing someone's life and by, 32:19 you know, giving for the worthy student fund. 32:23 So if you can't come, it is another way that you can get 32:25 involved and help the students out. 32:28 And that is a good job on that, Ian. 32:30 That is a fund code 492. 32:33 492. 32:36 online, just look for 492 and again, like if you can't 32:39 attend, but just like, man, that's a great project. 32:40 I want to support it. 32:41 Well, you can just put it to 492 worthy students. 32:43 So yeah, thank you so much. 32:44 Thank you also, Ryan, for the vision. 32:46 A number of years ago and look what God has done is come to 32:48 fruition and blessing people. 32:51 So, you know, going, moving on, we had the chance and the 32:54 opportunity and the blessing to travel down under, if we want 32:58 to say that, down under. 33:00 And yeah, Jill, talk just a little bit about that. 33:02 I know Pastor John and Angie had the opportunity going and 33:04 myself and Tim Parton, of course, were there. 33:07 If the Malkovich's to Australia and New Zealand, it was a very 33:10 blessed time. 33:11 It was indeed. 33:14 leadership with 3ABN Australia. 33:17 We were in New Zealand. 33:18 We were all across Australia. 33:21 Bunbury, which is Perth, all the way over on the west side. 33:24 We went to Adelaide's South Australia. 33:27 We went up to Newcastle and Sydney area. 33:30 So all across Australia. 33:32 And just what a blessing to meet 3ABN family all over the 33:38 world. 33:39 And I just want to say, and then I'll pass it to the Loma 33:41 Keynes to share, but Pastor John, you did an incredible 33:44 job. 33:49 and Tim singing and Angie talking about radio. 33:53 And Jill. 33:55 And just the opportunity to connect in with our 3ABN family 34:00 and to see the lives that have been changed and the hearts 34:03 that are mended and people who discovered Jesus and the Word 34:08 and the Gospel. 34:09 And it was an incredible experience. 34:11 And don't forget your presentations were wonderful 34:13 too. 34:17 That's the title. 34:17 You can't shake me. 34:19 But your approach to the Word has been commendable. 34:22 To see that God really speaks to you and through you in such 34:24 an easy to understand palatable way. 34:27 Praise God for that gift. 34:28 You know, there's one smile that I need to add to the 34:31 beginning of our journey because just before I left, I 34:34 preached a sermon entitled, No More Delays. 34:39 And we had nothing but delays. 34:42 When we went to St. Louis, our flight was delayed three times. 34:47 From St. Louis to Dallas, the flight was delayed three times. 34:50 So we left late. 34:51 And we got to Dallas. 34:52 Missed our connection in Dallas. 34:54 And our luggage ended up, instead of going to Dallas, it 34:57 went to Charlotte, North Carolina. 35:01 How does that happen? 35:03 And so when we got to Dallas, they said, well, we have to 35:05 book you on the flight. 35:09 It was in the airport with us to go on the same flight. 35:12 We were told that it was on the same flight only to arrive in 35:14 New Zealand to tell us our luggage went to New York 35:17 instead. 35:18 And I'm thinking, wait a minute, how does that happen? 35:21 Nothing but delays. 35:23 So we were without clothing for a week, which we had to 35:27 purchase a new suitcase and new clothing. 35:29 Thank you. 35:32 We had to wear the same thing all week. 35:35 And American Airlines was kind about it and reimbursed us. 35:38 But it was just a fantabulous time. 35:42 I've never seen that word, but that's my word, fantabulous, to 35:45 be able to touch the lives of people that are often on the 35:48 other side of the screen, shake their hands and hear their 35:51 stories. 35:53 My wife, she takes a lot of pictures and a lot of video. 35:57 You did the peacock one. 35:58 Oh, let me just kind of... 35:59 We went to a game park. 36:01 Yes. 36:03 And they had birds and they had koalas and they had little 36:07 wallabies and all that. 36:08 And they had peacocks. 36:10 And John Malkovich was trying his best. 36:12 He was stimulating, come on, fella, give me your wings. 36:15 I mean, show me your feathers. 36:17 That's a terrible Australian accent, but it's my attempt. 36:20 And the peacocks were just not listening to you. 36:24 And they walked away just, okay, we're just not going to 36:26 see the feathers today. 36:28 And I stayed with the peacock and I said, would you please 36:32 show us a display? 36:34 On the cue, he opened his feathers. 36:37 Good, yeah. 36:38 Yes. 36:39 On the cue, I asked, would you please show us? 36:42 As I finished that statement, he opened his feathers and 36:44 started spinning around. 36:45 Yes, as soon as he said, please. 36:47 As soon as I said, please. 36:48 And then you said things. 36:49 And then when he, then he closed his feathers. 36:51 And then I said, thank you. 36:52 And then he went, I got you. 36:56 You know, the beauty of saying please to a peacock makes a 36:59 difference. 37:01 But that was one of the highlights. 37:02 I didn't think it would happen. 37:04 But meeting the people, getting to see that we have a young 37:08 lady that's on our Wednesday night Bible study, Jess. 37:11 Jess, yeah. 37:13 She drove eight or nine hours. 37:14 Eight hours. 37:15 To be at the rally. 37:17 Which one was that? 37:18 That was at Newcastle. 37:19 At Hamilton, yeah. 37:20 And she drove across Australia to be there. 37:24 And it was a blessing. 37:25 So just singing and then Tim. 37:28 Oh, he was incredible. 37:30 What can we say about Tim? 37:32 What can we say about Tim? 37:33 Say Tim, that's it. 37:36 Because he ministers, you know. 37:37 He's incredibly gifted, which is a praise the Lord. 37:41 But when he sings, when he plays, it's ministry. 37:45 And it touches the people's hearts. 37:47 Sorry, I didn't mean to... 37:47 Oh, no, that's good. 37:48 But there's a song. 37:50 It's called Bless Beyond Measure. 37:54 Whenever he sings that song, it just sinks into my soul like 37:58 melted chocolate. 37:59 God is good, God's been good. 38:01 It's just like melted chocolate in the crevice of a cookie. 38:04 And it just bathes our souls. 38:06 And then we had a chance to go to Bunbury. 38:09 You know, some people say Bunbury, it's Bunbury. 38:11 They said get to Bunbury. 38:13 Special thanks to Terry Preston. 38:15 He's Vice President of the 3ABN Vice Chairman of the 3ABN 38:20 Australian Board, their committee. 38:23 That's his church. 38:24 He's one of the elders there. 38:25 And Pastor Robert, who you sang with. 38:27 Yes, that was nice. 38:29 We did a song. 38:30 What was the song we actually did there again? 38:32 It was a heritage song, heritage singer's song. 38:35 But anyhow, he... 38:37 And his group did just a great job. 38:38 They did an excellent job. 38:39 Oh, actually, no, it was a 3ABN song. 38:44 Oh, it was, the pillars. 38:45 What's the quartet we did? 38:46 Hold I Come Quickly. 38:47 That's it, that's it, that's it. 38:49 They practiced and practiced and practiced and practiced and 38:51 they behooved us. 38:52 And I said, let's just go ahead and do it. 38:54 Tim encouraged us to do it. 38:56 Because I'm sometimes, Larry, you know, when you say people, 38:58 they want to sing it. 38:59 They go, oh, what are they going to do here? 38:59 It's going to be all over. 39:01 But they did a very good job. 39:02 They did a great job. 39:03 So thank you, Pastor, for your approach to excellence there. 39:05 And that was fun. 39:06 Just to allow them to minister. 39:08 I said, let's sing this song. 39:09 And he popped up like a toaster. 39:11 Like toast out of a toaster. 39:12 And it was a blessed time. 39:14 But the spiritual messages, meeting people. 39:17 And we also learned what longevity is all about. 39:20 Because we were going and going. 39:22 Oh, yeah. 39:23 And up flying to the next venue. 39:25 Being at the next church. 39:26 Meeting the people that night. 39:28 Flying to the next place. 39:29 So I want to just bring this up too. 39:30 Because again, we talk about divine providence, right? 39:32 So we're at the Bunbury Seventh -day Adventist Church. 39:34 Again, it was packed. 39:35 We had Friday night and Sabbath. 39:36 And there were people sitting. 39:37 There weren't enough chairs. 39:41 to just... 39:41 I mean, it was amazing. 39:42 People coming from all over. 39:43 Many people driving, traveling. 39:45 Many hours. 39:45 People flew in. 39:46 Yes, so if you're in flew in. 39:48 So if you're watching this evening, thank you for coming 39:50 out. 39:50 So encouraging to see each one of you. 39:52 So we finished Sabbath evening. 39:54 And we're going, driving back up to Perth. 39:56 And we were hungry. 39:57 So we stopped at a little place. 39:58 Off the side of the road there. 40:00 Pastor John, tell us this story. 40:01 Because this is a divine appointment. 40:02 It's incredible what God did there. 40:04 Meeting this gentleman. 40:05 As we're waiting, again delays. 40:07 Waiting on some food. 40:08 Like why are we waiting so long for the food? 40:10 The timing is perfect. 40:11 Another delay. 40:12 See, everyone received their food except us. 40:14 So we went out into the mall entrance. 40:17 The mall was closed but the food shops are still open. 40:19 And we're sitting out there talking. 40:20 And a guy came up to me and says. 40:22 And he's showing you the phone. 40:23 Is that you? 40:24 Yes! 40:24 He opened his phone. 40:25 Is that you? 40:25 It's on his phone. 40:27 That's me. 40:31 So I said, what Adventist church do you go to? 40:33 I'm not Adventist but I watch you all the time. 40:35 On YouTube. 40:36 On YouTube. 40:37 And here we are sitting outside. 40:38 We could have been in the restaurant. 40:40 But we all just gathered in that spot. 40:41 He walked into the mall. 40:42 Is that you? 40:44 Yes. 40:46 Gave him a card. 40:48 And took a picture with him. 40:48 I have a photo of him on my phone there. 40:50 But the timing, amazing part of it. 40:52 You don't know the follow up. 40:54 No, we don't. 40:57 Australia after this event. 40:58 We're back here in the States. 40:59 And Terry Preston says, this is incredible. 41:01 So this guy here you're talking about, goes home and shows his 41:05 neighbor. 41:07 Here's Pastor John Loma King. 41:08 I see him on YouTube. 41:09 And he's telling his neighbor about this. 41:11 And his neighbor is like, Pastor John was just at my 41:14 church, the Bunbury Seventh-day Adventist Church. 41:16 His neighbor is an Adventist. 41:17 So he was all excited. 41:19 A divine setup. 41:21 So the neighbor is like, this is incredible. 41:22 So they're doing Bible studies is my understanding. 41:24 So you think about that. 41:25 So he's so excited that he met you. 41:27 He goes back and says, you'll never believe it. 41:28 I met this famous guy, Pastor John Loma King. 41:31 And he's like, oh, he was just here. 41:33 So this guy is so excited. 41:34 He attended church, actually, is what I was told. 41:38 You talk about divine providence. 41:39 Isn't that incredible? 41:40 Only God can do this. 41:41 Only God can do it. 41:42 Like Danny says, it's a setup, right? 41:43 It's a setup. 41:45 Sometimes I believe God is saying, yeah, just wait. 41:48 Just wait. 41:49 He's on the way. 41:50 There he is. 41:51 He's coming. 41:51 He's coming now. 41:52 So praise God. 41:52 What a great time. 41:55 Adelaide. 41:56 Pastor Brenton there at the Adelaide City Church. 41:59 And then we went up to Hamilton and Pastor Justin Terosian. 42:03 So we're there and there. 42:04 So grateful for each one. 42:06 We have a couple of pictures. 42:07 Let's just see if we can put those up right now. 42:10 John, we'll just walk through a couple of the pictures. 42:11 Put my glasses on so I can see. 42:12 From our 3ABN Australia trip here. 42:16 This is at Bunbury Church. 42:17 So we can just move through them. 42:19 But that is Terry Preston's church. 42:21 We were just talking about. 42:22 And again, the overflow is in the foyer. 42:24 So yeah, absolutely. 42:25 We just keep clicking through. 42:28 That was incredible. 42:29 I just remember so many people wanting freedom and healing, 42:33 breaking the chains. 42:34 I remember that message, breaking the chains. 42:37 Of course, we're so grateful for John and Rosemary 42:40 Malkovich, their leadership there with 3ABN Australia. 42:44 Now this is the school. 42:44 Let's talk about the school. 42:46 1,200 students attended. 42:47 But they're not all at the Adventist because they have 42:49 Muslim and Hindi. 42:51 More than 80% are not Adventist. 42:54 But it's an Adventist school. 42:55 So they're teaching Adventist doctrine there. 42:56 That's right. 43:01 And we were there. 43:03 And Pastor John and Tim ministered to the kids who came 43:06 in. 43:08 And his little girl. 43:09 And his daughter. 43:15 daughter. 43:15 Just this year. 43:17 And just a painful time. 43:19 And he had talked about how they had reached out to 3ABN 43:22 and the pastoral department and how 3ABN had helped walk them 43:25 through this difficult, painful time. 43:28 And we had the opportunity to connect with them. 43:30 Amen. 43:31 It's great being there with the kids. 43:32 We only had about 10 minutes with each class and they were 43:35 just... 43:35 Those kids are highly interested. 43:37 Very much so. 43:41 Yes, he did. 43:42 They sang with them. 43:47 now we can look through the camera and know that we've made 43:50 some connections. 43:51 And it's a point of endearment. 43:53 You know, we want to thank you all for just taking the time to 43:56 come out and visit us. 43:57 That's right. 43:58 At all the stops we stayed, all the venues. 44:00 It was such a blessing to meet the people. 44:01 It was. 44:03 there are people on the other side that we've connected to. 44:06 And so thank you for being so supportive and you are 44:09 definitely a part of our Thuravian family. 44:11 Amen. 44:12 And after we finished there at Newcastle, then a lot of the 44:15 team, you all went back to the U.S. 44:17 and Jill and I continued south of Sydney to a women's 44:21 conference. 44:22 And they're doing a great job. 44:23 Ladies came from all over to attend and be blessed there. 44:26 Jill, talk to us a little bit about that. 44:28 Just special thanks to Sister Mel. 44:30 Her name is Meliopetov. 44:32 She's the women's ministry director there for the Greater 44:35 Sydney Conference. 44:36 She does an incredible conference every year called 44:39 the Breathe Conference. 44:41 We have a picture of the ladies, if you can put that up. 44:43 Her women's ministry team, there they are all in pink. 44:46 And the theme was Woman of Valor based on Ephesians 6. 44:49 So it was all about the helmet and the shield of faith and the 44:54 belt of truth. 44:55 And so we had an incredible time with the women there. 44:58 We can put up some pictures of the ladies who came. 45:00 If you could put those up. 45:02 Those are the women who came in. 45:03 They came in from Cook Islands. 45:05 And there were Fijian and Tongan and Papua New Guinea. 45:08 They flew in from there. 45:10 So it was an incredible time. 45:12 Five and six hundred people came. 45:14 This is the woman from PNG. 45:17 So I just want to pause a moment on that. 45:19 They came in, all 20 of them, flew in special. 45:22 They had saved their money because it's a sacrifice for us 45:26 to come in and to come in. 45:28 And they love the ministry of 3ABN. 45:31 I just want to show, you know what these are, Angie. 45:33 I know you have these as well. 45:35 But the women actually wear these on their head. 45:37 And they carry them like this. 45:39 And they carry their water, if they're carrying water, or if 45:42 they're carrying their babies. 45:43 And just special thanks to each one of the team. 45:46 I'm trying to think. 45:47 This is the PNG woman, Sister Mona Lisa. 45:51 So just be part of the 3ABN family and all the women from 45:55 PNG. 45:56 Let's put up the Tongan picture. 45:58 The sisters from Tonga. 45:59 And this is Sister Leyte. 46:02 And there's the woman from Tonga. 46:05 And they gave one of these little wrap things, you know, 46:09 sarongs that you wear. 46:10 So thank you. 46:11 You have those too. 46:12 So thank you. 46:13 And then the sisters from Fiji. 46:16 This is Sister Liku. 46:19 And special thanks to her. 46:20 And they brought their women's ministry team from there as 46:22 well. 46:23 So just wonderful time. 46:25 Opening up the Word of God and fellowship. 46:27 And thank you all so much for being part of the 3ABN family. 46:31 They love them. 46:32 Some Sabbath school panel. 46:34 And you know that Ryan and Pastor John. 46:37 Just incredible blessing to see that. 46:39 So transitioning, Miss Addie. 46:41 Well, can I just say something? 46:42 Yes. 46:45 women's conference too. 46:46 You were there. 46:47 The only man. 46:49 And yes, I was accepted. 46:50 So thank you so very much. 46:51 We were treated well. 46:52 And again, thank you so much for your hospitality. 46:55 Absolutely fantastic. 46:56 Were they all the presenters? 46:58 Joe was the keynote speaker. 47:01 I think spoke five times in a day and a half or less. 47:05 One hour presentations each one. 47:08 But yes, it was a real blessing. 47:10 There was a woman there. 47:11 She did an incredible job. 47:12 She did the early morning meetings. 47:14 Yes, she did. 47:14 Just a great lady. 47:16 So she's an attorney. 47:17 From Australia. 47:19 So yeah, it was great. 47:21 Yeah, absolutely. 47:23 Miss Addie, talk to us about Donation Center. 47:25 And first of all, what is Donation Center? 47:27 What does it mean you work in the Donation Center? 47:30 What does that mean? 47:31 Well, first, let me start with a Bible verse, Miss Jill, found 47:34 in Proverbs chapter 11, verse 25. 47:38 A generous person will prosper. 47:41 Whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. 47:43 Amen. 47:44 Amen. 47:51 jewelry, or a model car, trains, anything that people 47:56 collect. 47:58 And then we sell it and use the money to support 3ABN ministry. 48:02 Amen. 48:06 Because sometimes we think, well, I don't have any money to 48:09 send, but yet people might have things at home that they're not 48:11 using. 48:12 Right. 48:12 Okay. 48:13 Yep. 48:16 alluded to that. 48:20 saying, Lord, I want to help the ministry of 3ABN. 48:23 What do I have in my hand? 48:25 And God said, you've got your two acres of land. 48:27 And that's how the uplink started. 48:29 So isn't that amazing? 48:32 don't actually have cash to give, but I've got some land to 48:34 give. 48:37 3ABN. 48:38 Is that right? 48:39 So what are some of those items? 48:40 So I know you've got there, is it some gold and silver bars? 48:44 Yeah, this is a silver bar. 48:45 It says 0.999 silver and a gold coin, gold bar. 48:52 And yeah, then I see here, I don't think they can quite see 48:54 that, but there's, let me grab this one here. 48:56 This is something that someone has donated. 48:58 I'll cover this up as to who this is, but this is actually a 49:02 gold watch. 49:03 Yeah, so a gold watch. 49:04 An Elgin watch. 49:05 Elgin? 49:06 Elgin watch. 49:07 That somebody's given and donated to the ministry of 49:09 3ABN. 49:10 And again, these are sold and the proceeds go into evangelism 49:14 right here, 3ABN. 49:15 Amen. 49:16 And we also have this. 49:18 People like to collect trains. 49:21 So if you have trains at home and we know you can't take 49:25 trains to heaven, because we'll be flying, right? 49:28 But trains and we have figurines. 49:32 So if you have several figurines, please think of 3ABN 49:37 as one of the recipients of your generosity. 49:40 This is a Hummel figurine, right? 49:42 It is a Hummel figurine. 49:43 And also we have coins. 49:46 Yes. 49:47 This is a 2010 American Eagle silver dollar. 49:51 So this is a proof dollar. 49:55 So it's like a mirror so you can see yourself. 49:57 So it's a silver dollar. 50:00 And also another coin, a Morgan dollar. 50:06 That's silver. 50:07 Yeah, it's a silver. 50:08 It's an 1887 Morgan dollar. 50:11 And also we have this book also. 50:15 This lady from Iowa donated thousands of coins. 50:18 So thank you so much for that. 50:20 And this is number one Liberty standing half dollar. 50:25 So I just listed this yesterday. 50:27 So if you guys, you have this at home, please consider 3ABN 50:32 as one of the recipients of your generosity. 50:35 Do you have coins on the inside? 50:36 Yes. 50:39 Some are complete, but this one is incomplete. 50:41 I can see this. 50:42 But that's fine. 50:42 We don't need complete. 50:49 And what are some of the other items? 50:51 I know this is just a sampling. 50:53 I know musical instruments. 50:55 Yeah, we accept musical instruments and purses. 50:59 If you have purse, women like to collect purse. 51:03 And purses are actually a hot item now as far as the vintage, 51:06 right? 51:10 80s, 1980s and 90s. 51:13 And these would be like name brand. 51:14 Name brand purses from the 1980s and 90s, depending on the 51:18 condition they're in, they can bring in tens of thousands of 51:21 purses. 51:23 I know, right? 51:25 And Jill is highly vintage, right? 51:28 80s. 51:29 Wow. 51:30 Yeah. 51:30 Wow. 51:31 So. 51:32 And what else? 51:33 We have cameras. 51:35 We have Nikon, Sony, Pastor John uses Sony. 51:40 So if you want to donate your Sony to Pastor, we will gladly 51:45 accept it. 51:46 And also electronics, even though it's not working, you 51:49 can sell it for parts only. 51:52 And also baseball cards or any types of sports. 51:55 You have baseball, basketball, jewelry. 51:58 Sometimes people have jewelry that they're no longer using or 52:02 that they just have in a drawer and say, you know, I don't need 52:05 this. 52:06 And certain actually costume jewelry is actually sought 52:08 after too now as well, some type of costume jewelry. 52:12 Like turquoise and the other type. 52:14 And the gemstones also, if it has gemstones, it's worth a lot 52:19 too. 52:21 might have something, do they just send it in right away or 52:23 should they call you first? 52:24 Yeah, they need to call. 52:25 Yeah. 52:31 And of course, you know, I don't want to decline anything 52:34 because every cent belongs to the Lord, belongs to the 52:37 ministry. 52:40 So just please give us a call of what you have. 52:44 So you can call us right now, not right now, because it's 52:46 Thursday night, but you can call Addie anytime during 52:49 business hours, 618-627-4651, and extension 3079. 52:57 Yes, 618-627-4651, extension 3079. 53:05 Correct. 53:08 We've had actually some, and you may be watching this 53:11 evening, have donated motor homes. 53:12 We had a gentleman actually a few years back donate us a 53:15 very, very nice sports car. 53:17 They said, you know what? 53:18 I've got this just sitting around here. 53:20 I want to just donate that to the ministry of 3ABN. 53:22 And of course, actually, you do get receipts from 3ABN for 53:25 these items. 53:26 Addie can answer those questions for you on how all of 53:28 that works, your donation to 3ABN. 53:31 But again, it's just incredible because sometimes in our homes, 53:34 we look at the stuff and we say, ah, yeah, I don't think 53:36 that's really worth anything. 53:37 Call Addie, she'll walk you through that because again, you 53:39 have to ship it to 3ABN. 53:41 We'll figure out ways of getting it to 3ABN. 53:43 There's logistics and all that. 53:45 She has the answer. 53:45 So again, call that number 618 -627-4651. 53:49 Here's the key part, the extension. 53:52 3079, right? 53:53 So call 3ABN's number. 53:55 Her extension is 3079. 53:57 And again, we thank you so much for supporting 3ABN this way 54:00 because I think Bruce and Tammy Chance for years started out 54:04 this aspect of 3ABN and for 20 plus years. 54:08 And no one ever really retires, but they just said, okay, we're 54:10 going to retire. 54:12 And so Lord, we just thank them for what the Lord has done 54:14 through them to bless the ministry of 3ABN. 54:17 Thank you, Addie, for picking up the reins. 54:19 You've been a part of this department for a number of 54:21 years now and have just taken on as the management role. 54:24 So thank you so much for that. 54:25 Your leadership and your excitement to again, you and 54:28 your husband and family to bless the ministry of 3ABN this 54:31 way. 54:35 to live longer, be generous. 54:37 Mmm, that's good. 54:38 I like that. 54:39 I like that. 54:40 That's very good. 54:41 God loves the cheerful giver. 54:42 He does. 54:43 That's right. 54:44 I just thinking rally wise, let's talk briefly about 54:47 Jamaica. 54:50 So that's coming up in a couple of months. 54:52 And Sabbath, February 22. 54:55 So Danny and Yvonne will be going and Pastor John and 54:58 Angie, Tim Parton of course, Ricky and Jasmine Carter are 55:01 going. 55:05 -day Adventist Church and all day Sabbath at the Northern 55:09 Caribbean University. 55:11 Oh yeah. 55:12 The Gymnatorium, which I understand seats 2,000. 55:16 So that is a tremendous blessing. 55:18 We're looking forward to meeting our 3ABN family there. 55:20 I don't know if you want to speak to them going to Jamaica. 55:22 Yeah, matter of fact, we were just at NCU. 55:24 My family is Jamaican. 55:25 Our family is Jamaican. 55:26 We were at NCU not too long ago. 55:28 So Jasmine too. 55:29 And Jasmine, that's right. 55:31 Yeah. 55:32 It's a thriving campus. 55:33 It's going to be a wonderful time. 55:34 They love 3ABN. 55:37 Jamaica loves 3ABN. 55:40 And there's a little saying that the Jamaicans like over 55:43 there and we had, we visited with a family and enjoyed it 55:47 there. 55:49 There's so much more I could say about Jamaica. 55:51 NCU, Northern Caribbean University used to be called 55:54 West Indies College back in the day. 55:57 And my sister went there back in the day many years ago. 56:01 And it's a wonderful school. 56:03 The nursing school is so many aspects of it. 56:07 Theology school. 56:08 Theology. 56:08 Seminary. 56:09 Yeah. 56:10 So we look forward to going home for me. 56:12 That's right. 56:13 Yeah, that's coming soon. 56:14 So again, those dates, Jill, when we'll be there? 56:16 Friday night, February 21 and all day Sabbath, February 22. 56:20 So we just look forward to seeing you there. 56:22 I know we've just got a few seconds left. 56:23 But also we've had a number of people when we go to a rally 56:25 like this, we'll have people flying from other places. 56:27 So you don't have to be just in Jamaica. 56:29 So if you want to meet us in Jamaica and a good excuse to go 56:31 to Jamaica in February, come to the rally right there in 56:33 February. 56:35 Yes, absolutely. 56:35 Thank you, Pastor John and Angie. 56:37 Thank you, Ryan. 56:38 Thank you, Ian. 56:39 Thank you, Miss Addie. 56:41 Thank you all for being part of the family. 56:43 What a privilege to work together and to serve Jesus and 56:46 be in ministry together. 56:48 We just thank you for being part of the Trinitian family. 56:50 This is our last Behind the Saints for this year, 2024. 56:54 So just encourage you to open up your heart to the Lord Jesus 56:58 and look with eager expectation what he wants to do in and 57:02 through you next year. 57:04 Bye-bye. |
