00:01 I can't believe our time is just about up.
00:02 I want to open up the floor for any final thoughts 00:05 that you guys may have. 00:07 Okay, I'll just start with one about being baptized, 00:10 but not joining a church. 00:11 We are counseled strongly against that, 00:14 Hebrews 10:25, 00:15 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, 00:18 as is the manner of some independent Christianity, 00:23 but exhorting one another, and so much more, 00:26 as you see the day approaching. 00:27 Join a fellowship, then the blessing will start. 00:30 Amen. 00:31 I just want to add to that, just to say that, 00:33 you know, if we're fighting against God's plan 00:36 to be assembled and be together now, 00:38 but want to isolate ourselves from the church, 00:39 and we're going to be miserable when we get to heaven 00:41 because we're going to always every Sabbath 00:43 in as many opportunities as we can together, 00:45 worshiping God as a body, as a group of people. 00:49 And so yeah, it's God, 00:50 it's a part of God's plan for us to be together, 00:52 assemble together as much as we possibly can. 00:54 Amen. 00:56 You know, the body 00:57 is an illustration of the church 00:59 in 1 Corinthians 12:14. 01:03 And sometimes we think of it 01:04 as I don't want to be part of the church 01:07 because of all those other parts 01:09 and how they're going to affect me. 01:11 But we've got to remember, 01:12 if you're a hand or you're an eye, 01:13 you're a nose, you're an ear, 01:15 you want to be part of the church. 01:16 Being part of the church is not only getting 01:18 but it's also giving. 01:20 That's right. 01:21 God has something that He's giving to us, 01:23 a gift that He's giving to us, 01:25 an experience He's giving to us. 01:26 And He wants us to be able to minister to other people 01:29 in the body of Christ. 01:31 And so we don't want bodies going around without parts. 01:34 That's right. 01:35 We want every single person 01:36 who is accepting Christ to come into the body 01:39 and contribute as well as receive. 01:40 Amen. 01:42 Thank you all so much 01:43 for what you've contributed today 01:45 and answering these questions from the Word of God, 01:47 and we want to thank you for sending in your questions 01:51 so that we can study the Word of God together 01:54 and provide you with answers from His Word. 01:56 Until next time, may God richly bless you. |
