00:27 The natural world is full of marvels from tall mountains
00:32 to huge forests, to waterfalls, to winter wonderlands 00:36 like Inari here in Northern Finland. 00:40 Our earth is full of breath taking natural wonders. 00:44 These beautiful natural scenes bring balance to our lives 00:49 and nourishment to our souls. 00:51 We're the only creatures on earth that can be moved to tears 00:57 by a sunset, that marvel at the stars at night, 01:00 that feel awe and humility at the spectacular beauty, power 01:06 and magnificence of the natural world. 01:09 Wonder defines us as human beings. 01:14 One man has devoted his life to capturing this world of wonders, 01:19 the beauty and power of the natural world. 01:23 He's discovered that the real essence of wonder is not 01:28 in the thing itself, but in the fact that the more you look 01:32 for wonder in the world, the more the wonder of the world 01:37 becomes a part of you and answers some of life's biggest 01:41 questions. Wonder is more that just a good feeling, 01:46 it's a seed from which our greatest treasure and 01:50 understanding grows. So let's join Henry Stober on a journey 01:55 through the wonders of the natural world, 01:57 let's explore, dream and feed our souls and maybe just maybe 02:04 as we search the wonders of nature we may find answers 02:08 to some of our biggest questions. 02:25 Henry, you have photographed and filmed many of the most 02:29 beautiful and spectacular places in the world. 02:33 How have the natural wonders of the world impacted you? 02:37 I was allowed to capture on film some of the most beautiful 02:40 mountains, rivers, lakes, volcanos, waterfalls, 02:44 and much more. 02:45 They have the power to enchant and amaze, they've left me 02:49 with feeling of awe and humility, they've touched 02:52 my heart and moved my soul. Actually, the beauty and power 02:58 of the natural world can leave you feeling quite 03:01 insignificant and humble, it makes me wonder 03:04 where it all came from. 03:06 I spent a lot of time thinking about this and considering 03:10 the various possibilities, where did it all come from 03:13 and where do I as a human fit into all of this. 03:17 And I've actually tried to bring it all together 03:20 and express it in my own way. Let me share it with you. 04:02 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, 04:04 the conviction of things not seen, by faith we understand 04:10 that the worlds were prepared by the Word of God 04:13 so what is seen, was not made out of things which are visible. 04:23 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, 04:29 and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God, 04:34 all things came into being through Him 04:38 and apart from Him nothing came into being 04:43 that has come to be. 05:17 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth 06:12 Now the earth was formless and empty, 06:15 darkness was over the surface of the deep. 06:40 And the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 06:54 And God said "Let there be light." 07:15 And there was light. 07:37 God saw that the light was good 07:52 and He separated the light from the darkness. 08:00 God called the light day and the darkness He called night. 08:12 And there was evening and there was morning the first day. 08:33 And God said, Let there be an expanse between the 08:38 waters to separate water from water. 08:42 So God made the expanse and separated the water under 08:47 the expanse from the water above it and so 09:02 God called the expanse sky. 09:31 And there was evening and there was morning, the second da. 09:46 And God said, let the water under the sky be gathered 09:51 together in one place. 10:24 And let dry ground appear, and it was so. 10:29 God called the dry ground land and the gathered waters 10:34 He called seas and God saw that it was good. 10:43 Then God said, let the land produce vegetation 10:50 seed bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit 10:54 with seed in it according to their various kinds 10:57 and it was so. 11:25 The land produced vegetation, plants bearing seed 11:29 according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed 11:33 in it according to their kinds and God saw that it was good. 11:46 And there was evening and there was morning the third day. 11:59 And God said, let there be lights in the expanse of the sky 12:07 to separate the day from the night. 12:20 And let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days 12:24 and years. And let them be lights in the expanse 12:29 of the sky to give light on the earth, and it was so. 12:35 God made two great lights, the greater light to govern the day 12:48 and the lesser light to govern the night. 13:20 He also made the stars, God set them in the expanse 13:24 of the sky to give light on the earth to govern the day 13:29 and the night and to separate light from darkness 13:32 and God saw that it was good. 14:23 And there was evening and there was morning the fourth day. 14:42 And God said let the water team with living creatures 14:56 and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse 15:00 of the sky. 15:24 So God created the great creatures of the sea 15:27 and every living and moving thing with which the water teams 15:31 according to their kinds and every winged bird according to 15:36 its kind and God saw that it was good. 15:47 God blessed them and said be fruitful and increase in number 15:52 and fill the water in the seas and let the birds increase 15:58 on the earth. 17:05 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. 17:11 And God said let the land produce living creatures 17:15 according to their kinds, livestock, creatures that move 17:20 along the ground and wild animals, each according to its 17:24 kind and it was so. 18:16 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, 18:24 the livestock according to their kinds, 18:26 and all the creatures that moved along the ground 18:29 according to their kinds and God saw that it was good. 20:15 Then God said, let us make man in our image in our likeness, 20:49 the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. 20:58 and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life 21:12 and the man became a living being, then God said 21:24 let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the 21:28 air. Over the livestock over all the earth and over 21:36 all the creatures that move along the ground. 21:45 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God 21:53 He created him, male and female He created them. 22:26 And God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and 22:31 increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it 22:34 Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air 22:38 and over every moving creature that moves on the ground. 22:48 Then God said, I give you every seed bearing plant on the 22:53 face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit 22:57 with seed in it, they will be yours for food. 23:00 And to all of the beasts of the earth and all the birds 23:08 of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground 23:11 everything that has the breath of life in it, I give every 23:18 green plant for food and it was so. 23:27 God saw all that He had made and it was very good. 23:37 And there was evening and there was morning 23:41 the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were completed 23:48 and all their hosts. By the seventh day God completed 23:53 all His work which He had done and He rested on the seventh day 23:57 from all His work which He had done. 23:59 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it 24:04 because in it He rested from all His work which God 24:08 had created and made. 24:31 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, 24:34 six days you shall labor and do all your work, 24:38 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God, 24:42 On it you shall not do any work, neither you nor your son or 24:48 daughter, nor you man servant nor your animals 24:52 not the alien within your gates for in six day the Lord 24:57 made the heavens and the earth the sea and all that is in them 25:01 but He rested on the seventh day. 25:04 Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it Holy. 25:55 If you would like to know more about this God of wonders, 25:59 who not only has the power to create the wonders of the 26:02 natural world, but also the love and compassion to 26:06 bring peace and happiness into our lives, 26:10 then I'd like to recommend a free gift we have 26:13 for all our Incredible Journey viewers today. 26:17 It's the booklet The Fingerprints of God, this booklet is our gift 26:23 to you and is absolutely free.
