Evangelist for CFO which is 00:41 Christ Frontline Operations 00:43 and Chef on Dare to Dream's Chew's Challenge... 00:46 Welcome to Urban Report, Tim... 00:48 Thank you for having me... 00:50 how are you guys doing out there? 00:52 Doing great, doing great, we had so much fun when you 00:56 and Chef Chew and Tina were here 00:59 and you did Chew's Challenge that was such a blessing... 01:02 Oh, that was a blast, yeah, I loved it... 01:04 and it's airing now... and people are writing in 01:07 and calling... they love it... they want the recipes 01:10 so, it's really good and we're going to air it again 01:13 so that they can watch it again, and those who haven't seen it, 01:17 can watch it... so, it's really a blessing... 01:20 Hmmm... okay... I'm glad... I just praise the Lord... 01:23 for everything He's done... Amen... amen... so... 01:26 when you were here... I could tell... 01:29 we didn't get to talk much but I could tell 01:32 that there's a story behind you, 01:35 you have such passion for the Lord 01:37 and such fervor... when did you start feeling like 01:42 you really wanted to serve God? 01:44 Well, that's interesting... here's the story... 01:48 it's kind of a long story but I... 01:50 We have time... 01:51 so, I'll start from the beginning... 01:55 I grew up in Church... 3rd-generation Adventist 01:59 probably like most people, but it was just Church, you know 02:05 you go to Church on the weekend, keep the Sabbath 02:07 from Friday night to Saturday night... 02:09 and then kind of do whatever you want 02:11 during the rest of the week 02:13 and then... when I was 17 years old... 02:16 I had sat in a Revelation Seminar 02:20 this was my first Tent Meeting, my first Tent Meeting... 02:24 an Evangelist came and man! he preached the 3 Angels Message 02:28 and I was in there taking notes and I went home and studied 02:33 and researched everything he said... 02:34 and I just couldn't believe that 02:36 this whole time I had this message... 02:39 and I just got on fire for the Lord... 02:42 and I just started doing everything you could think... 02:45 going door to door, colporteuring, week of prayers, 02:48 preaching, teaching, just anything, you name it... 02:51 and so, that's what I did for about two and a half years 02:56 and what happened after that is... I had my roots... 03:02 but my roots weren't that deep and the devil got a hold of me 03:05 and then I drifted off into the world 03:07 and we can talk more about that 03:09 I'm just giving a quick synopsis right now and... 03:13 ever since 2011... the Lord has brought me back in 03:17 so... I just feel so passionate and privileged 03:22 to be here... because I could not be here... 03:24 I almost feel like I'm not supposed to be here... 03:26 Wow! as a person that knew... 03:28 it wasn't like I was confused... I knew everything the Bible said 03:32 and I chose... like the prodigal son... 03:35 one of my favorite stories... I was in the Father's house 03:37 and I chose to leave... 03:40 and for the Father to welcome me back... 03:43 with open arms... 03:44 I just think that I can never repay Him back... 03:47 so, I'll spend the rest of my life... trying to... 03:50 That's so beautiful... isn't it interesting how 03:54 when you're born into so to speak "a Church" 03:58 sometimes you take everything for granted... 04:01 it's like... you're into the ritual... 04:04 you go to Church... you have Sabbath lunch... 04:07 but it's all just a bunch of rituals 04:10 until... something happens... to quicken that spirit... 04:14 and the Holy Spirit quickened your spirit... 04:16 and you... got on fire for God, and then, of course, 04:21 Satan was mad because he wanted you back... 04:23 and so, he began to insert himself into your life... 04:28 was it the people that you were hanging with... 04:31 was it... what you were watching... 04:33 was it video games or hip hop... what was it that drew you 04:36 back away from God? 04:38 It was... he used all those things... 04:42 but I think the foundational principle was really having 04:49 a relationship with Jesus... Hmmm... 04:51 really being in love with Him, 04:53 versus just in love with the message... 04:56 and in the way it sounds... and the truth of it all... 04:59 which is all good... and which you still need... 05:01 but you need to really see Christ 05:03 in every word and every line... 05:05 and just know that you guys have a relationship 05:08 and so... since I didn't have that... 05:11 as soon as my first little trials came... 05:13 they weren't even that important, 05:15 but I thought they were important to me... 05:16 they just get you down and discouraged... 05:18 you know, and so you start to question your experience 05:21 you start to question "well, was this really true" 05:24 because when most people come into the Church 05:28 they are not really taught how to pray 05:30 and labor with God on their knees 05:32 and they're not really taught that 05:33 though you've given your heart to the Lord... 05:35 there are still going to be rough times... 05:37 and Jesus is still going to be there with you through them 05:41 it doesn't mean He doesn't love you... 05:42 it doesn't mean He's not going to be there with you... 05:44 and not having that foundational part... 05:46 and this isn't anybody else's fault 05:49 but I always attributed to this... 05:51 a lot of times young men and young ladies get converted 05:55 in the Church... and there's no older person 05:58 or discipleship to kind of guide them through their 06:00 conversion process and they can pick up a lot of 06:03 good things and bad things 06:05 and sometimes they get on fire, and leave the Church 06:07 because there's no kind of mentoring... and so... 06:10 all those things happen and what happened was that 06:12 the devil started taking me out step by step... 06:14 and his first tool was... it was the women... 06:17 I had given everything to the Lord 06:21 but I gave him 99 percent... I kept like one thing for myself 06:24 I had a problem I was struggling with 06:27 and I just figured that... 06:29 I never thought that that thing would move me all the way 06:32 from the Lord... but he used that... 06:33 and then he used the music... 06:35 Well, before you go before you go past that... 06:38 let's stay on that for a second... 06:40 Okay... that's a very important piece 06:42 one of the things that I see a lot in our Churches is 06:46 that whole idea... "Well, sex is over here... 06:50 and everything else... 06:51 'okay, okay, Lord, help me with this' 06:54 but I don't want you to help me with that" 06:55 Right... yeah... 06:57 Or... it's like, 06:58 "Well, I'm still going to Church and I'm still serving the Lord 07:02 but... I can do this... it's okay... 07:05 everybody's doing it... " and I think it gets justified... 07:10 it gets rationalized... it gets minimized... 07:13 and we really have... that's why Dare to Dream 07:16 has "Pure Choices" Right... yes... 07:19 because sexual sin... 07:20 is a very, very deep... deep-seated 07:24 kind of sin that people tend to think is not that deep... 07:28 is not... you know... 07:30 "How can it be that wrong two people love each other" 07:32 well, if it's outside of that context of marriage... 07:35 God says, "No" it's "No" 07:38 It's "No" it's an abomination... 07:41 it starts at the very root and the foundation 07:45 of who we are... God likens that act between 07:48 a man and a woman to a relationship with Him... 07:51 and when you do it outside of marriage... 07:54 it's a perversion... Hmmm... 07:55 when people usually think about sexual perversion 07:57 people think about, maybe homosexuality or child abuse 08:01 or any kind of other things but they never think of 08:05 of a man and a woman outside of marriage 08:07 as that being a perversion but it is a perversion 08:10 and it's not only just... it's just not even talked about 08:15 in the Church... it's just kind of glossed over 08:17 and not looked at... and because it's not talked 08:20 about in the Churches... the devil is having a field day 08:22 he's speaking about it, 08:24 he talks to the youth about it a hundred times a day 08:28 a hundred miles an hour... and because he's given that... 08:33 because it's not talked about, the beauty... 08:35 one of the beautiful things that the Lord showed us in 08:39 Genesis... is... even though something is 08:42 natural to do... 08:43 you still need to do... whether God did it or not... 08:47 all Eve did was eat a piece of fruit... 08:49 and I'm sure it was the healthiest piece of fruit 08:52 on the face of this earth... 08:53 I'm sure it was a delicious piece of fruit 08:56 and there was nothing wrong with her eating the fruit... 08:58 but that piece of fruit... God told her, 09:00 "Don't eat that one" and it's the same thing, 09:04 sex is natural... it's a gift from God... 09:07 it's beautiful between a man and a woman 09:09 in the marriage context, but only in that context... 09:12 and when it's out of that context... 09:14 God says, "Don't touch it" because it's as destructive 09:18 as when Eve ate the fruit, and so we don't realize that 09:21 because it's natural... and because we have an urge 09:24 we think that... I can't help it... 09:28 and Christ came to give us power over everything... and so... 09:31 Amen... and so... we need to seek God 09:37 to be a part of every part of our lives... 09:40 and not compartmentalize... "This is okay... but this isn't" 09:45 you know... Exactly... it's so dangerous 09:48 it comes with surrender... whether it's your dress... 09:52 or whether it's your appetite, 09:54 whether it's your friends that you hang out with... 09:55 Everybody loves the Jesus that died for you 10:00 and saved you from your sins but nobody likes the Jesus 10:03 that says... "I'm God... there's no other before me... 10:06 and why do you call me 'Lord... Lord... ' 10:09 and not do the things that I say" 10:11 and so, both of those characteristics 10:13 are in Him... and it's wonderful 10:14 because everything He tells us is the healthiest thing 10:17 and it's the best thing for us, That's right... 10:19 but when you start to pick and choose 10:20 in your religious experience 10:22 what God can have you and what God cannot have... 10:25 you leave a door open for Satan... 10:26 and he just drops in a little poison at a time... 10:29 just drop by drop... he doesn't want to scare you 10:32 and so he just leads you out nice and steadily... 10:35 and that's what happened to me, 10:37 I was dealing with a problem for a while 10:39 and it hadn't affected my spirituality 10:42 so I thought I was still... doing the work as it were... 10:47 but I still had that problem, 10:49 but it just gradually opened the door for other things 10:52 and other things... and by the time I got out 10:55 you know they say, you know... 10:58 when the house was swept... 7 more demons came in 11:01 I was worse than I ever could have started... 11:04 Absolutely... well that's how the enemy operates 11:08 just like you said... everything is... it's gradual... 11:11 he doesn't do it all at once, it's really gradual... 11:15 it's kind of like drifting... when you're at sea... 11:18 Yeah... you just kind of drift slowly 11:19 and before you know it... you're so far away from the shore 11:22 and that's how he rolls... that's how he operates... 11:26 and so... that... okay so that issue was the first thing 11:30 the woman issue... 11:32 with everything that kind of goes along with that 11:34 because it is a constellation of sins that go along with that 11:40 Exactly... and so we have that... 11:42 so what was the other thing that drew you away? 11:44 Well, you have that and so then now 11:47 since you are in that atmosphere with the opposite sex... 11:53 then almost everything else comes along... 11:55 then you want to dress and impress them... 11:57 you want to go places they go... and it started out... 11:59 it's going to sound so silly what I'm about to say 12:02 this is just how the devil drifted me out... 12:04 he creates an appetite for stuff and so when I got home... 12:07 I wouldn't party and everything 12:10 but at least I would go out on dates... 12:12 when you got home from... oh you mean at night? 12:14 from Howard... Oh, from Howard... 12:16 from College... so... about this time... 12:18 I was already home in Sacramento... now 12:20 trying to finish school... and things weren't working out 12:25 and so... it started with the radio... 12:27 I wouldn't buy any Rap... I wouldn't buy any R and B... 12:32 but I'll just listen to songs on the radio... 12:34 because they don't have cursing 12:35 and stuff... so it's okay... right? 12:37 No... no... started with R and B first... 12:39 I won't listen to Rap... but I'll listen to R and B... 12:41 why? because it's about love right... just love songs... 12:43 they're okay... so I'd listen to those on the radio 12:46 and then... after those songs played... 12:48 and then some Rap songs would play... 12:50 "Well, it's okay for me to listen to these... 12:52 they don't have any heavy cursing in it... right?" 12:54 and so I started on this path for a long time 12:57 until obviously... I was buying my own CDs... 13:00 buying my own things... 13:01 and you can't just "talk the talk" 13:03 once you're in the world... 13:04 I'm always the person that... if I'm going to do something, 13:08 I'm going to do it a 100 percent... 13:09 so since now I am... you know... "cool" or "in the world" 13:15 or doing what I wanted to do... then... 13:17 I might as well try everything... 13:18 and so I wouldn't smoke cigarettes at first 13:20 and... just smoked cigars... and then... 13:22 after the cigarettes I wouldn't do drugs... 13:24 so I said, "okay... let me just try Marijuana" 13:27 and then... after Marijuana... 13:29 "okay, I won't put a needle in my vein... " as it were... 13:32 "but maybe I'll try Cocaine" and then... after that... 13:35 I didn't like to spend money on it... 13:37 so now, to justify the fact that I do these things... 13:40 "let me sell them now... so at least I can make money off 13:43 of them... while I'm doing it... " 13:44 before I know it... you're talking about an Adventist kid 13:47 and you wouldn't be able to notice him... 13:49 from a regular, worldly person... 13:51 I'd dress the same... my body is tattooed... 13:55 I had drugs in my pocket to take... 13:56 I had drugs in my pocket to sell... 14:00 my mouth is as filthy as any person... 14:03 standing on the street corner and I went in this spiral... 14:07 for about 8 or 9 years... and then... "this was my life" 14:11 you know... and I justified it... 14:13 "as I tried the Adventism, I tried that... 14:15 that didn't work for me... " 14:17 "I know God is real... but it's not all that serious" 14:21 and the devil... he just... he's good at lying... 14:25 and if you listen to him... it will confuse and deceive you. 14:29 So, wow! so you went from... kind of being apathetic... 14:36 right... in the beginning... Right... 14:39 to going to that Revelation Seminar 14:41 and going on fire for the Lord to ending up... 14:45 drifting back out... through women, through music, 14:50 Right... through drugs... 14:52 just ending up being on the outside again... 14:56 but this time... this time... you're not apathetic 14:59 this time... you're cold... 15:00 this time... you are like... just out there... 15:05 with the drugs and all that stuff... 15:07 and isn't it amazing, Tim, that... in spite of that... 15:11 in spite of everything... God still had His hand on you... 15:15 and you know He did... 15:16 He still had his hand on me and I would get to the point 15:20 where He brought me back in in a second... 15:23 it was just so interesting... 15:25 just the way He even took care of me... out there... 15:27 Yes... tell us... tell us... 15:29 we would be in instances... I'll name two... 15:33 I remember one time... we were sitting there... 15:35 and we were smoking drugs we smoked Marijuana... 15:38 me and Javed... and then... my friend... 15:43 he started staring at me, I was staring at him and I said, 15:45 "Do you feel that?" and he was like... "Yeah" 15:49 and I said, "It just feels weird around here" 15:52 it feels like... "we need to leave" 15:53 and he was like, "yeah, let's just get out of here" 15:56 Was he an ex-Adventist too? Yes, he is... 15:59 Okay... all my friends in the world... 16:01 they were all ex-Adventists... Okay... 16:03 so, picture that, you know, like four or five Ex-Adventists, 16:09 Seventh-day Adventists going to the Club and acting 16:12 the worst... but at any rate... 16:14 when we left that parking lot, about 30 minutes later 16:18 that parking lot got shot up... 16:19 and we were like... 16:22 because we got a phone call and this man's like, 16:24 "Oh, did you just hear what happened at the Karos?" 16:26 and we were just there... somebody was there... 16:28 and they were doing just what we were doing... 16:30 sitting in there and smoking and talking to girls... 16:32 and he got hit by a stray bullet and so, little stuff like that 16:36 would happen... I can remember vividly... 16:39 it was me... Javed, Tariq, Adam, 16:42 another friend we had called Mike... 16:45 and we had gone to this Club 16:47 and we had gone there with some of our lady friends... 16:51 and inside the Club, a group of African American guys 16:54 a group of Mexican guys, they got into a fight... 16:57 so they got in a fight... we're fighting and everything, 16:59 Club got shut down, we walk out... 17:01 the fight wasn't over though everybody thought it was 17:05 and so Javed was talking to this girl... 17:08 and she said... 17:10 "hold on, get in the car and talk to me" 17:12 and because he stopped, we all stopped... 17:14 well, when we stopped, right then at that moment, 17:17 we heard twelve gun shots right... 17:19 and so the Black guys had circled around 17:21 to finish the job they started in the car... 17:24 and they shot one of the Mexican guys 17:26 the other Mexican guy ran into the parking lot 17:29 they pulled aside... and then they shot again 17:32 about 10 or 12 times... and hit the other guy... 17:35 and I'm assuming that 17:37 it was the guys that were in the Club, 17:38 that they were fighting with at any rate... 17:41 and so we heard this... and me and Adam looked 17:43 and we saw the guy on the ground and he had got hit on the head 17:46 so, we were like... "Okay, let's go get the ladies 17:48 let's go get Javed, it's time for us to go... 17:50 leave him here" 17:52 we walked to the car that we all rode in... 17:55 it was Adam's girlfriend's car, now his wife... 17:58 and they had shot through her car... 18:01 because the guy was next to her car... 18:04 so, when we got to the car, the guy who had got hit 18:07 was lying on the ground... next to the car... 18:10 he's hit in the head... 18:11 blood and fluid are leaking out of his head 18:14 Adam is holding his hand, talking to him, 18:16 telling him to "hold on" waiting for the paramedics 18:18 all the cops come... they didn't know who we were 18:21 so they drew guns on us, and so now, here I am, 18:24 you know, I could be at home, in my bed, 18:27 but I'm lying on the cold, concrete ground, 18:30 next to a guy, who... half of his head is out 18:34 you know, couple of inches away from me... 18:37 with police guns drawn on my back 18:39 and the car that we were in 18:41 has a bullet hole through it, 18:43 and so... if Javed wouldn't have stopped 18:46 to talk to that girl, and we wouldn't have paused, 18:48 we would have been in that parking lot 18:50 when they decided to shoot at that other guy... 18:54 and there were many more instances like that... 18:56 but the Lord just... just little stuff like that 18:59 to preserve me... because... 19:01 and I want all the youth 19:03 to hear exactly what I'm about to say 19:05 "I knew the truth... and I was out 19:07 if I would have perished out there 19:09 that would have been it for me" That's right... 19:12 my probation would have closed there would have been no... 19:15 I knew exactly what I was doing and I chose to do otherwise... 19:18 and the Lord is a righteous judge... 19:20 and that would have been it for me... 19:22 but He preserved me... for some odd reason... 19:26 little stuff like that... places I had no business being 19:30 doing stuff I had no business doing... 19:33 He waited... and He preserved me... 19:35 and those were the kinds of the things that were happening... 19:37 when we were out... we were always "missed out" 19:40 in the nick of time... as it were... 19:42 Yes, yes, and there's no "luck" in God... you know... 19:47 No... no... There's no such thing as 19:49 "Oh you were lucky you didn't get hit... " 19:51 No... God had His hand on you... 19:53 so, how did you work your way... 19:56 no... wrong choice of words... 19:58 how did God get a hold of you... Yes... 20:01 because it's not about your works... 20:03 how did He get a hold of you and bring you into 20:06 your CFO Ministry? 20:08 Well, I already had a stubborn nature... 20:13 but being out in the world, 20:14 they teach you to get stuff on your own... 20:16 especially hip-hop music... they create this pride in you 20:19 so... me knowing the truth... it was almost seemingly no way 20:23 you know, nobody could knock on my door 20:25 and tell me about the Sabbath... that wasn't going to work... 20:28 nobody could tell me about Revelation... 20:29 that wasn't going to work, I knew about those things... 20:33 and so what God did... 20:35 is that... I wasn't scared of anything in my life 20:38 not any pride in myself... but I just wasn't afraid of 20:42 certain things... I knew that every cause has an effect 20:46 and if you do certain things... certain things will happen... 20:48 so there was no need to be afraid of life... 20:49 you make decisions... you make choices... 20:51 you live with them... but I was always afraid of 20:54 getting my daughter taken from me... 20:56 I never wanted to be parted from my daughter... 20:58 I had a daughter... when I was out there... 21:01 her name is Anaya... she's seven turns eight this month 21:04 and so it was one night... it was a good... 21:08 it was a good day... by worldly standards... 21:11 I just came from my brother's house 21:12 spending time with him... 21:14 I just got paid that day which was always good... 21:17 and so, 21:19 I just picked up my daughter 21:21 because me and her mom split weeks... 21:22 so, it was Wednesday... it was my time to pick her up 21:24 so I picked her up... I was happy about that... 21:26 took her to my brother's house, I was spending time with him, 21:29 he was happy about that... I decided to go home... 21:31 and on the stop from home, 21:33 another problem I acquired in the world was... drinking... 21:37 now, I didn't call it a problem then... 21:39 but I had a drinking problem... I would drink, drink... 21:42 and just drink alcohol... everyday... 21:44 just about every day... all the time... 21:47 there had to be no reason, 21:48 it didn't have to be a special occasion... 21:49 and so I stopped by the store to pick up some alcohol... 21:52 going to the house... 21:54 I didn't plan on leaving the house again... 21:56 because I had my daughter... and so I'm drinking, 21:59 I'm drinking... it gets to about 2 and 3 in the morning 22:02 after she goes to sleep... I started drinking... 22:05 and all of a sudden... 22:06 I started getting hungry... 22:08 because I chilled at my brother's house so late 22:11 I didn't go to the grocery store before we came... 22:13 and I was tired... and I was like... 22:16 "Man, I'm hungry but I don't want to drink and drive... 22:18 okay, let me just go to the nearest fast-food chain... 22:21 and just get me something to eat real quick... " 22:24 now mind you... I'd been drinking... 22:26 and so I'd drunk the whole bottle... 22:29 so, I can drink the whole bottle to myself... 22:31 and that's how much I'd drunk... and so, at 3 in the morning... 22:35 because it's down the street, and alcohol is in your system 22:39 and you reason that everything will be okay... 22:41 at 3 in the morning... I grabbed my sleeping daughter 22:44 I put her in the car with me, 22:46 and I'd go to the store to get something to eat... 22:49 from this fast-food chain... 22:50 I get something from the fast food-chain... 22:52 I start to leave the fast-food chain 22:56 and as I do... a police officer gets behind me 23:00 filled with alcohol and pride and the thought 23:03 "if I live just down the street maybe I can shake her... " 23:05 I decided I didn't feel like stopping that night... 23:08 and I run and get in a high-speed chase 23:10 with the police officers... 23:12 after I hit about the first two corners, 23:15 I realized that I'm in a truck 23:17 and this truck could potentially tip over 23:20 if I hit the corner hard enough 23:22 then I'm not going to be able to get away... 23:23 so I said, "Well, at least I'll just go to the house... " 23:26 and then, somebody can probably come 23:29 and pick up Anaya so they don't take her... 23:31 and they can just take me into custody and x, y, and z... 23:33 and so, before I get to the house... 23:36 once you start running... they call different cars 23:40 and they start converging on you... 23:41 and they don't like it too much when you run... 23:43 so they will ram your car 23:44 if they have to and stuff like that... 23:46 it seems almost like the angel of the Lord stopped the car... 23:50 the car... it felt like someone grabbed the car and it turned... 23:54 and stopped in a weird way... when I made a left turn... 24:00 it almost made a whole U Turn... 24:03 and stopped right in front of the wall and hit the wall... 24:05 and then the chase was over... 24:07 to make the long story short... 24:08 I had to go to prison and do time for that... 24:12 but I remember... my first night in jail... 24:15 I was on the Sacramento County Floor 24:18 lock down... 24-hour-lockdown floor 24:21 I got put in my cell... nobody was in there... 24:24 and so I'm put in my cell, I'm wearing the orange clothes 24:28 and I'm wearing all their stuff 24:31 and I just look up at the ceiling 24:32 and I say, "Okay, I'm listening, what do you want to say to me?" 24:38 Hmmm... and from that point I knew... 24:42 God had to put me in a position where He would just slow me down 24:45 where He just had to take everything from me... 24:48 I lost the car... I lost the apartment... 24:50 you know... work... my daughter could have gotten 24:53 taken from me... but because her mother and 24:56 my mother came and got her, 24:58 they opened up a "child-support case" 25:00 because her mother didn't press any charges 25:03 the case was closed... 25:04 and so it could have ended way worse... 25:06 but the Lord just showed so much mercy... 25:08 on someone who didn't deserve any... 25:10 and from that point forward, 25:12 He said, "No, I'm not going to get out of this... 25:14 I'm not going to make all the charges go away... 25:16 you're going to have to go to prison... 25:17 but, I'm going to go through it with you... " 25:21 is what He told me... and so, I had my Bible... 25:25 and that began my conversion process 25:27 I just read my Bible from cover to cover, 25:29 and then I got out... they gave me... 25:32 tried to give me four years, 25:34 the Lord was gracious... they gave me two years 25:36 I did half time... and I got out in 10 months 25:39 and I was still... one foot in and one foot out 25:42 if you can believe it... 25:44 I still said, "Well, I won't do bad stuff... 25:48 but I won't just give everything to the Lord... " 25:50 like you were saying, "compartmentalizing... " 25:52 Yeah, compartmentalizing, right... 25:54 that's what I decided to do, 25:55 "so, I'll just do this and this and this" 25:56 but I won't hurt people, I won't sell alcohol, 26:00 I won't be mean and disrespectful to women 26:03 I will try to keep myself together... 26:06 and it was February 2011 26:10 I was in my mom's house... 26:14 in the room downstairs... and she didn't know it 26:18 if I had any alcohol... I was about to drink some 26:21 and it was like a voice, as clear as you're talking to me 26:25 it said, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" 26:30 Wow! and then I said... 26:32 you know, "I'm about to relax" 26:37 I said, "I'm about to relax, I'm about to just drink... " 26:40 and the Lord said, "No" 26:41 he said, "I've taken you too far you know, too much... 26:45 you either give all to me... or 26:49 you can go back and live 26:52 the way you were living... decide... " 26:53 Ah, and you had to make a choice right then... 26:56 Right then... Wow! this is such a great story 26:59 and I can't believe we have to go... 27:01 our time...
