00:01 Stay tuned to meet two men that are glowing for Jesus.
00:03 My name is Jason Bradley,
00:05 and you're watching Urban Report.
00:31 Hello and welcome to urban report.
00:33 My guest today are pastor, Joe Reeves
00:35 and brother, David Pano.
00:37 They are committed to practical ministry
00:39 and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
00:41 Welcome to urban report.
00:42 Nice to be here.
00:44 Thanks for having us, appreciate it.
00:46 So lets begin with your backgrounds,
00:48 where are you from?
00:49 Were you always at Adventist?
00:51 Let's start with you, pastor.
00:52 Thanks.
00:53 I grew up in the mountains of Washington State
00:56 long ways from most people
00:58 with the bears and the mountain lions,
01:00 and the Lord has lead me to work in many places.
01:03 I now pastor in Michigan, in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
01:08 And love reaching out to people.
01:10 That's gotta be quite a change too
01:11 from being in the mountain, correct?
01:13 I always say the Lord loves to play tricks on me.
01:16 The first place He had me pasturing
01:18 was in Detroit, so...
01:20 Wow!
01:21 We're in the suburbs...
01:23 Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow.
01:24 So but, isn't that how the Lord likes to stretch us?
01:26 Yes, yes, absolutely.
01:27 And what about you?
01:28 My name is David Pano.
01:30 Originally, I am from Bolivia, South America,
01:32 and I gave my life to God when I was 26 years old,
01:38 and I was going to the church all the time.
01:40 But you know, you can be in the church
01:42 and lost at the same time, that was my case.
01:44 In 2009, I gave my life to God.
01:46 In 2011, I went to get training for ministry
01:51 and last year, I graduated
01:53 and now, I am working in literature ministry.
01:54 And literature ministry
01:56 has been part of my life now, yeah.
01:58 And what lead to that decision for you
02:00 to give your heart to Lord?
02:03 To be honest, it's to witness young people
02:06 that they were committed to God.
02:07 You know, usually the society shows you
02:11 that young people are into different aspects of life,
02:14 like movies, video games and all that.
02:16 But when I saw young people
02:18 that they were studying the Bible,
02:19 not only when they go to church,
02:22 that changed my life, to be honest,
02:24 and I realize that there is a way to be a Christian
02:27 and happy and enjoy life at the same time, you know.
02:30 Yes. What about you?
02:32 Were you always that Adventist?
02:33 Yeah, I was privileged to grow up in a home
02:35 that was Christian,
02:36 Seventh-day Adventist learning the Bible stories
02:38 at a young age.
02:39 Uh-huh.
02:40 You know, like any teenager get into those years,
02:43 start to ask some questions,
02:45 and I definitely knew
02:47 that I did not want to be a Christian,
02:49 I don't want to be a Seventh-day Adventist
02:51 just because it was family tradition,
02:52 just because it was culture.
02:54 I only wanted to be so if I had good reasons.
02:58 And so, I did a lot of searching and studying myself,
03:01 but actually one of the things that really clinched it
03:04 and drew me in
03:06 was sharing my faith with others.
03:09 I was 16 when I went to California,
03:15 and I did some door-to-door ministry there,
03:17 sharing books.
03:18 And when I saw the Lord working on the streets,
03:21 that's when He was working in my heart too,
03:23 and so I've always kind of been one of those persons
03:27 where if I keep my faith to myself, it starts to die.
03:30 Yeah, absolutely, absolutely
03:32 and if you're not growing, you are dieing.
03:33 Yeah.
03:35 It's amazing to hear different walks,
03:38 like to see different walks,
03:40 like you grew up
03:41 and you wanted to study for you're self
03:42 which is so important
03:44 because you can't take just what your parents say,
03:46 what you're mom and dad.
03:47 You know, you see so many times
03:49 where religion is just a tradition
03:51 for so many people.
03:52 They are following what mommy or daddy
03:53 or grandma or grandpa did
03:56 or they are just taking what the pastor said
03:58 instead of studying the Word of God for themselves.
04:00 So important to study the Word of God for yourself.
04:05 Now, there was an event in Chicago,
04:08 actually two events in Chicago.
04:11 What events, what took place,
04:13 and why did you guys decide to do two events?
04:15 Tell us about that.
04:17 Well, it was one nation trip,
04:20 but there were two events in that mission trip
04:23 and I was gonna speak about one and globe mission trips,
04:26 you know, passing GLOW tracts.
04:28 This small tract has been becoming so famous.
04:31 And what has been happening is that many young people,
04:35 they wanna pass this out.
04:37 So one part and one side of the this mission trip,
04:40 it was like pass as many as GLOW tracts
04:43 as possible to the people in Chicago.
04:46 So a lot of young people,
04:47 they decided to come to pass GLOW tracts
04:50 and share the Gospel that way as well.
04:53 And so, you say, GLOW tracts,
04:55 some of our viewers at home might not know exactly
04:58 what a GLOW tract is or what's in it.
05:01 What are GLOW tracts
05:03 and what do they usually consist of?
05:04 Yeah, GLOW tracts is a small Bible pamphlets like this size.
05:07 You know, there is smallest mobile reading
05:09 and if people receive this,
05:11 they can read and they can sign up for a Bible study,
05:14 send their information in the back.
05:16 So it's kind of like spreading the Gospel
05:18 in literature form.
05:19 Nice.
05:21 So a lot of young people, they can just pass,
05:22 you know, flood out the area with GLOW tract,
05:24 with these Bible pamphlets,
05:26 people can have access, you know, to the Gospel.
05:29 That's beautiful because it's in small bites size pieces,
05:32 so you're not over whelming anybody
05:34 with a 500 and something page book.
05:36 That's right. Excellent.
05:38 And it has titles that are attractive to people,
05:40 here's one "Where is God When I am Hurting?"
05:44 and you show that to someone, and sometimes you can see
05:47 people's expression on there face change right there.
05:49 Yes.
05:50 And here's another one
05:52 we pass out a lot of these intelligent faith.
05:54 Well, lot of people think faith is stupid,
05:56 but in these 1,200 words right here,
05:58 you can see why faith is intelligent
06:01 and so these tracks
06:03 that are really griping for people.
06:06 Amen, amen.
06:08 Now, why did you choose Chicago out of all places?
06:11 You coming from the mountains, why did you choose Chicago?
06:16 Well, you know, they've done these GLOW mission trips
06:20 in different cities before Philadelphia, San Jose
06:24 and when we were in Chicago
06:26 for the Youth Evangelism Congress,
06:28 some of the pastors, youth pastors
06:30 and some of the youth were saying,
06:32 "Why don't we do one around here?"
06:34 And of course, why not a better place than Chicago?
06:37 The weekend, we were there, was the weekend
06:40 that the Washington post published an article,
06:43 as we were there, I looked it up on my phone
06:45 saying that, "The murders this year in Chicago
06:50 more than the murders in New York City
06:52 and Los Angeles combined."
06:54 Wow!
06:55 Now, you know, when there is that many murders going on,
06:58 there is a lot of hurting people.
07:00 Murders don't happen by happy people.
07:02 No, no.
07:03 So they need Jesus
07:05 and that's why we chose Chicago, yeah.
07:08 Wow!
07:09 More murders than...
07:11 Chicago's crime rate is out of control,
07:14 and you're right, they do need Jesus,
07:17 they do need Jesus.
07:18 So...
07:20 We have that part of GLOW tracts,
07:22 you know, showing the Gospel.
07:24 We had one more event
07:26 on the same mission trip which was...
07:28 Yeah, well, you know,
07:30 we always have to be a little bit creative.
07:32 They've done the GLOW mission trips before,
07:33 but this time, we said,
07:35 "Well, why don't we add something to it,"
07:37 and so we added a segment to this mission trip
07:39 called compassion
07:42 like the North American division Seventh-day Adventist
07:44 really been promoting compassion ministry this year.
07:47 So this really involves meeting people's felt needs,
07:50 giving them a water bottle, food, shelter,
07:55 and so we worked with the Chicago
07:58 and Adventist community services,
08:02 and they connected us with RTW Veteran Center,
08:05 and this a very interesting place.
08:06 They fed 50,000 hot meals to homeless last year
08:12 right there on Martin Luther King Boulevard,
08:14 Chicago, around the South Side Chicago.
08:17 And they have a fantastic approach,
08:19 they've got some gardens there,
08:21 and they have a center where they feed the homeless,
08:24 they help them with the shelter and with job placements.
08:28 So it's very holistic.
08:30 Well, we came in there,
08:32 and we helped working those gardens
08:35 that were there to feed the homeless,
08:38 and we were there meeting the homeless
08:40 and the gardener there, he says,
08:43 "You've got more done today than we have all summer long."
08:48 Of course, we kind of had advantage,
08:49 we came in there with 40 plus workers so...
08:52 Wow! Wow!
08:54 And so what type of missionaries came?
08:59 That was the beautiful part.
09:01 We put it in the website.
09:02 We have our website
09:04 where we promote these mission trips,
09:06 and we put it Chicago,
09:07 and I remember speaking with some missionaries
09:09 and they were saying, you know,
09:11 they were actually praying to have something going on...
09:13 What's the website?
09:15 The website is glowmissiontrips.org.
09:18 Okay.
09:19 So they were praying a lot about Chicago.
09:21 They have a burden for the city,
09:23 and when they saw that was like an answer to prayer
09:25 and they signed up.
09:27 So anybody can sign up for this mission trips.
09:30 So we have people coming from local areas
09:34 like in Chicago itself.
09:36 We have people coming from Michigan like us,
09:38 people coming from Indiana, then Minnesota,
09:42 people that started coming from Tennessee
09:44 and the farthest they started coming from California.
09:47 Wow!
09:49 So all over?
09:50 Yeah, all over the country, the people were signing up,
09:52 and to start coming in,
09:54 and I still remember these two families in particular,
09:59 they came from California and one of them,
10:03 they have kids and these children,
10:07 they wanted to serve God
10:08 and they actually found grace themselves
10:10 to pay their flight ticket to arrive for the mission trip.
10:16 They did this by going door-to-door
10:18 with their neighbors back in California saying,
10:20 "Hey, we're going to do a mission a trip to Chicago.
10:22 Do you wanna help?"
10:24 And people were helping. That is beautiful.
10:25 These little kids, like this height.
10:27 That's determination to serve the Lord.
10:29 They pay themselves, the tickets, the fight tickets.
10:32 So it was amazing to see, you know, their sacrifice,
10:36 that they were doing just to get there
10:38 and serve other people in the city.
10:40 You can imagine how us as leader were touched by that.
10:43 Yeah, absolutely, absolutely,
10:45 and that just speaks volumes to grown ups, you know?
10:48 Grown ups need to be getting out there as well.
10:50 You have little kids that are hungry to serve the Lord
10:55 and funding their own way to get to Chicago to do so.
11:00 We have about seven pictures that we wanna go through.
11:04 And as we go through these pictures,
11:05 just give us a little brief idea
11:08 of what's going on in each picture.
11:10 For sure.
11:12 Yeah, that's inside the RTW Veteran Center.
11:16 We had 16 academy students
11:21 from Great Lakes Adventist Academy.
11:22 We were painting inside the building
11:24 and helping them with some renovations.
11:25 Nice.
11:27 Let's see what this next one has for us.
11:30 That was one of the areas in Chicago Hispanic community,
11:35 and we see Alex here, he was passing GLOW tracts.
11:38 They were going door-to-door
11:39 leaving GLOW tracts in the car and with the people as well.
11:43 And Alex actually works with 3ABN Latino.
11:45 Yes, yes, he was one of our volunteers,
11:49 and we visited actually local Churches
11:51 and we told them about what we were doing.
11:54 And it was a blessing
11:55 because and also we shared GLOW tracts with them,
11:57 and they were committed themselves
11:58 also to pass them out.
12:00 Nice. Wow!
12:01 That's a lot of GLOW tracts in that bag.
12:04 We pack those bags,
12:05 pack up the backs of the vans and go out there.
12:08 We got out 200,000 GLOW tracts
12:10 during the four days that we were there.
12:12 Wow!
12:13 200,000, that's...
12:15 So we went through bag after, bag after, after bag.
12:16 Wow!
12:17 And that's Donald Owen
12:19 who's in our pastoral department.
12:20 Yeah, that's right. There are some familiar faces.
12:24 And that was in the area of downtown,
12:28 People in downtown,
12:29 they were also passing GLOW tracts.
12:31 There was a small group that had went to downtown,
12:33 and they were passing GLOW tracts to the tourists.
12:35 We don't know how far our GLOW tracts are gonna go.
12:38 Absolutely.
12:40 And that's such a blessing,
12:41 and there goes Janelle Owen, another face I recognize
12:44 that works in our graphics department.
12:46 You know, one of the beautiful things
12:47 about this trip,
12:49 we talked people coming from different directions
12:52 to join us for this trip,
12:53 but you can see here we had Asians,
12:56 we had blacks, we had whites, we had all kinds of people,
13:00 some with different accents
13:02 to come together for this mission trip.
13:03 We were working in a black church,
13:06 but it was just everybody coming together.
13:08 I think we need a little bit of that in our world right now,
13:10 don't we?
13:11 I would say so, I would say so.
13:12 These kids here working in the garden
13:15 by the RTW Veteran Center,
13:18 there was an accident
13:20 that happened while we were there.
13:22 When we were working with the homeless
13:24 there in the gardens.
13:25 I was in my van in the driver's seat
13:28 and just getting ready to pull out
13:30 when I look up,
13:31 and this in fact that's me in the far left of that picture
13:35 talking to the police officer as a witness.
13:37 Uh-huh.
13:38 And this lady was in her wheelchair,
13:41 electric wheelchair just getting ready
13:44 to cross Martin Luther King Boulevard,
13:46 but another man had already started to execute a left turn,
13:49 and she was going full speed and she hit...
13:53 she was hit by this driver.
13:55 He felt terrible.
13:57 It was just a little picture of some of the chaos tough
14:00 that's just all around.
14:03 And so she had to go to the hospital later.
14:06 We were glad she wasn't hurt worse.
14:08 But he stayed which is a good thing.
14:11 He stayed on the scene, correct?
14:12 He did, he felt terrible,
14:14 the driver did, he didn't take off.
14:15 Yeah, that is horrible
14:17 but it was so inspiring to see the little ones getting out,
14:22 you see them getting their hands dirty.
14:24 They are not standing around, they are pushing wheel barrels,
14:27 filling up wheel barrels and painting.
14:30 Oh, man just working hard.
14:32 They worked for it and they were excited.
14:35 They were super excited and they were helping people.
14:38 I think we can learn from that.
14:40 Absolutely.
14:41 And Chicago is one of the largest cities
14:43 that we have in America,
14:45 and there is a lot of pain there.
14:46 Like over, and over I heard from our missionaries, sort of,
14:49 volunteer missionaries saying, "I see a lot of pain."
14:53 I though and some of it was eye-opening for them.
14:55 I though I was in bad position until I came here.
15:00 And it has been a blessing not only for them,
15:05 but also for us as we were there.
15:07 Yeah. Wow!
15:08 One of the others told me,
15:09 she said, "I dint know my kids could work so hard."
15:12 Yes. Wow!
15:13 So I don't... apparently she had tried
15:15 to get them to garden before and didn't go very well.
15:16 Yeah.
15:18 But, you know, when we come together
15:19 and we do projects together,
15:20 the kids pick up on that momentum,
15:22 and it just lifts the whole family
15:24 and it lifts everybody.
15:26 But, you know, there was something that happened
15:28 when we were there that, kind of,
15:30 illustrates part of the reason
15:31 we are wanting to do these GLOW tracts together
15:34 with the compassion
15:36 coz I don't know if you have noticed this
15:38 with your Christian brothers and sisters,
15:39 sometimes there's people that's all about literature,
15:42 but they are not to concerned about the felt needs.
15:45 Then, there is some people
15:46 that are all about feeding the homeless,
15:48 but they don't bother with giving the Bible study
15:51 or sharing the literature.
15:52 I say lets do both and my friend, Donald,
15:56 when he was there, there was a lady
15:58 that was on the side of the road,
15:59 a homeless lady that slept on the side of the road
16:02 and when he offered her GLOW tract,
16:06 she looked up at him and this lady,
16:10 she had around her a pile of water bottles.
16:13 And this pile of water bottles was about all she had.
16:17 She was selling them so she had money to buy lunch.
16:20 But when Donald gave her this GLOW tract
16:23 with truth she recognized it and they had the words of hope
16:27 and telling the story about Jesus.
16:29 And she got up to her feet, and she gave him a hug,
16:32 she had tears in her eyes
16:34 and then, she took this one of...
16:36 this homeless lady took one of the water bottles,
16:38 and she was selling to everybody else
16:39 and she gave it to him, all that she had.
16:43 And that one story spoke volumes to me
16:47 because sometimes I am tempted to think,
16:49 "Oh, the homeless people,
16:51 what they need is really they need is water,
16:53 they need food, and they don't really the spiritual...
16:58 how's that even gonna connect
17:00 when they are hungry or thirsty?"
17:02 Well, they need both.
17:05 And even in the situation,
17:06 they know what they need, many of them...
17:08 Absolutely.
17:09 And this lady with tears in eyes said, "Thank you,"
17:12 and she gave him one of her water bottles,
17:14 so that's why we are doing both.
17:15 Yeah, and that's very powerful because another lesson
17:18 that can be drawn from that is this is this lady's last,
17:22 this is all she has
17:24 and you share the Word of God with her,
17:27 you shared there precious tract
17:30 and she gave Donald one of her water bottles
17:35 that she was selling to feed herself.
17:37 And probably she was even sacrificing,
17:39 you know, her food...
17:40 Absolutely.
17:41 In order to get this or as a thank you.
17:43 It's amazing how--
17:45 Yes, it's a holy sake.
17:47 That's what the Gospel is a holy sake.
17:48 It's not just a one thing, it's everything.
17:51 It supplies many needs and that's what we see like...
17:55 we have a like an event like...
17:56 when we were passing GLOW tracts one of our...
17:59 we had a like four people in one park.
18:03 And when they were there, one of our...
18:06 the girls, she was approached by a young man,
18:09 and she says, "Are you passing these tracts?"
18:10 And he showed her, you know, the small Bible pamphlets,
18:13 and she was like.
18:15 "Yes, I am doing this."
18:16 And he like, "You know,
18:17 somebody gave me one of this probably another volunteer."
18:21 And he says.
18:22 "You know, I am so impressed,
18:24 I wanna help, so can you give me some of that.
18:27 I will help you to pass them out."
18:28 So this stranger joined the team,
18:31 and he started passing them out also.
18:33 At the end of the day, she was like so excited
18:35 because he was like passing them out
18:37 and she was like, you know, "Who are you?"
18:38 They realized that this young man,
18:40 he didn't have a place to go and pretty much
18:44 they connect him with the local church,
18:46 and he was going to attend to the local church as well.
18:48 So this is how they value,
18:50 you know, people they have nothing.
18:51 They also value the Gospel
18:54 because that's what brings hope beyond that.
18:56 Yeah.
18:57 Well, I'll tell you,
18:58 people are thirsty, they are thirsty for Jesus.
19:01 It's unfortunate that some of us Christians get shy
19:03 and scared and so fearful of rejection
19:07 because we are gonna experience that.
19:08 Some people are gonna say, "no," they don't want that,
19:11 but you can't let that stop you from going to the next person.
19:13 It's thirsty for Jesus. That's right.
19:16 Yeah, we are gonna help people with their gardens.
19:17 We are gonna feed them,
19:19 but people are thirsty for Jesus.
19:21 He is the solution to every problem
19:23 that answered every question.
19:25 I really believe that.
19:26 Amen, and you know what people realize
19:28 that there is something going on in this world.
19:30 Exactly.
19:31 They don't know what it is,
19:33 but we do know what it is,
19:35 and we have to share that with them.
19:37 You wouldn't let your friend go into a burning building
19:40 or you wouldn't let any citizen go into a burning building
19:43 without warning them.
19:45 How could we not share Jesus with other people?
19:48 Yeah, you share
19:49 what is the most precious thing in your life.
19:52 You know, if it was the most precious thing
19:54 in your life is just food, you're gonna share just food,
19:57 but if the most precious thing of your life is a person,
20:01 is Jesus Christ, why not?
20:03 You know, He brings joy,
20:05 hope in your life and, you know,
20:07 many of the people may be they might never,
20:10 may be they will never leave that area,
20:14 but they have hope for something beyond that
20:17 and that's what we were trying to impress and yes,
20:20 people say no, we face that.
20:22 You know, and there was a situation interesting
20:24 how God works and this is true.
20:28 This young man, he was passing like it's a GLOW tracts
20:31 and that lady approached to him as she was passing by,
20:36 he handed out GLOW tracts to her,
20:39 and she said, "No, thank you I am not interested."
20:42 I mean, she was rough.
20:43 She kept walking.
20:45 But just suddenly, she stops,
20:48 turns back and walks backs to him
20:50 and she said, "Can you give me all that you have?"
20:54 And then, he was like, "Wow, what a change!"
20:57 And she said, "You know, when I was leaving,
21:00 something told me come back and get what he has."
21:04 Wow!
21:05 So this is how the holy sprit works,
21:08 and we're working with angels,
21:10 we are working with haven that's why we go there.
21:12 Yeah, that's powerful.
21:14 Now you can see why you do these mission trips.
21:16 Absolutely.
21:18 People wonder, well, you see the Lord working out there
21:21 so, and we have more mission trips coming up.
21:23 You can see those at glowmissiontrips.org.
21:27 And those... that's not just to report
21:28 on what we have done, that's the more mission trips
21:30 that we are planning and people can join,
21:33 and your faith can be strengthened too.
21:35 Pick up on the momentum.
21:37 Now, what are some of the mission trips
21:39 that you have coming up?
21:41 Yeah, we have different ones like, in the website,
21:45 you will have current and updated information.
21:47 Okay.
21:49 They will tell you the coming events.
21:51 There are events even in Europe.
21:53 Oh, wow. People can sign up from the US.
21:56 There are local events.
21:58 They are thinking also going to like Utah
22:01 and all different areas, so if they go to the website,
22:04 they will have updated information,
22:05 glowmissiontrips.org.
22:07 So this is around the world.
22:09 That is correct and is growing
22:11 because it started last year in Philadelphia, yes.
22:14 What other stories do you have?
22:16 Well, you know,
22:17 it just happened the whole time we are there.
22:19 The last night,
22:20 all the missionaries had gone home
22:22 and us as the organization, we had to clean things up,
22:25 and we are driving out of town and it's already dark.
22:28 And we are driving on Martin Luther King Boulevard
22:30 again, south of were we were earlier during the weekend
22:34 and, you know, there is a lot of people
22:37 there begging for money,
22:38 and we were at the stop light
22:40 and the tracks go right over the intersection.
22:43 And I was driving the van,
22:46 and I could kind of see out of the corner of my eye,
22:49 somebody on the street corner trying to get my attention,
22:51 but I was ignoring
22:53 because I taught they were asking for money.
22:54 And so, but somebody in the van says,
22:59 "Joe, the person is trying to get your attention,"
23:01 and so I look and I roll the window
23:03 and he says, "Hey, I remember you."
23:08 And I looked at him and I said, "I remember you,"
23:10 and as soon as I looked into his eyes,
23:12 I recognized him as one of the homeless man
23:13 that I had talked to the day before about a mile away,
23:17 and he'd seen in the dark, two lanes over,
23:20 he had seen me and he recognized me.
23:22 Now, then the light turned green, I had to go.
23:27 That's probably where the man slept,
23:29 but there he is in his world
23:31 just fighting for a little bit of recognition.
23:35 I didn't even know his name, he didn't know my name,
23:38 but at least, we recognized each other
23:40 and people are looking for that personal touch.
23:44 That's why Jesus touched people.
23:46 Yes, yes and minister to their needs.
23:49 And you know, I just have Jesus words
23:52 ringing in my ears all the time.
23:53 He says, "Whatever that men would do to you,
23:56 do you so to them for this is the law in the prophets,"
23:59 Mathews 7:12.
24:00 So I put myself in that person's shoes.
24:02 If I was that person what would I want?
24:04 I would want someone to speak to me.
24:06 I would want someone to share with me,
24:08 so that's what we better do.
24:09 Absolutely. That's correct.
24:11 Now, what advise would you have to give someone
24:14 who wants to get involved
24:15 and be active in their community?
24:19 Find the needs of your community.
24:23 Many times, I have one of my missionaries
24:26 on that mission trip and she said,
24:27 "You know, I taught
24:29 that mission field was only in Africa
24:31 and all of those distant countries,"
24:33 until she came to those places and she said,
24:36 "You know, there is a need here.
24:37 Why I am not here?"
24:39 So anybody who's there, you know,
24:42 find the needs of your community
24:46 and work in that and take opportunity...
24:49 as you supply those needs,
24:51 give them more than their physical needs,
24:54 give them more than that
24:55 because they have spiritual needs.
24:57 Everybody has a hole in their heart.
24:59 That's only shape for God
25:01 and their longing to be filled and some of them,
25:03 they don't even know that they have that, yes.
25:05 Yes, and what about...
25:06 And everybody can use GLOW.
25:09 It's simple, it's useable.
25:11 You can order them at glowonline.org
25:14 and these GLOW tracts,
25:16 the Lord is just working miracles through them
25:18 and just simple meanings.
25:19 And selling more stories, but I am sure.
25:21 Absolutely.
25:22 Time is short, but we do have a little bit of time
25:26 for like a short story.
25:28 But, I am just saying now is the time
25:31 when people need to get busy and get working.
25:33 I went in...
25:34 I am a pastor, I have a church school.
25:36 So just last week,
25:37 went into the church school, into 4th grade,
25:40 and I was having them
25:42 collate some of these GLOW tracts,
25:43 but when the 4th...
25:44 Now, what is collating GLOW tracts?
25:46 Well, they were just bundling them together
25:49 so we can hand them out
25:51 because they were bundling these GLOW tracts together.
25:54 At the end, when these little 4th graders had done,
25:58 I asked them if they want to hear any stories,
26:00 and so I shared some of the stories,
26:03 some of which I shared with you.
26:04 And then, these 4th graders started telling me
26:07 how they use GLOW tracts
26:09 and, you know, how they are little kids,
26:11 you know, "Well, my family puts them in the bathroom
26:15 or the public restroom
26:17 or my family puts them in the gas pump
26:18 or family puts them in the car door handle,"
26:21 or whatever it is, full of ideas
26:23 and so I challenged them when I came back in there,
26:27 they all wanted some themselves.
26:29 And so, I shared some of them.
26:30 So next time, I go back to that classroom,
26:32 all the 4th graders are gonna tell me
26:33 how they have been using the GLOW tracts.
26:34 Yes. Wow!
26:36 So it's... everybody can use. Everybody can use.
26:37 I am telling, you kids, grandma, grandpa, everybody.
26:39 Yeah.
26:41 Glowonline.org, that's were they can go
26:44 and check the new tracts that we have.
26:46 Also, we have a new one for children as well.
26:49 Oh, there is one for children?
26:50 That's correct. Oh, wow!
26:52 And what is that one?
26:53 What dose that one have in it?
26:56 It's designed for, like, I said, small children.
27:00 It talks about the state of the death,
27:02 what happens and the title is "What's wrong with grandpa?"
27:05 It's about like children that's wondering
27:07 what happened with the grandpa, ya.
27:08 Nice!
27:10 Like where did grandpa go
27:11 and, you know, that's still an issue today is
27:14 so many people are confused
27:15 about the state of the death as we see.
27:19 That is amazing what took place in Chicago,
27:23 what will be taking place around the world,
27:25 and we hope that our viewers will get involved
27:28 in ministry as well.
27:30 I wanna thank both of you for coming and sharing with us.
27:34 Thanks for allowing us.
27:36 You are very welcome,
27:37 and I wanna thank you at home for watching.
27:40 If your church was missing,
27:42 would the neighborhood notice that you are gone?
27:44 Would they even care?
27:46 These are serious questions to consider.
27:49 We are living in the last days
27:50 and we must do all that we can to spread the Gospel,
27:54 that means each and everyone of us
27:56 has a role to fulfill.
27:58 Pray and ask God to give you a burden for souls.
28:02 Well, we have reached the end of another program.
28:04 Join us next time and remember,
28:06 it just wouldn't be the same without you.
