00:01 He's had some close encounters with death, the police,
00:04 kidnappers, witches, and gangsters. 00:06 Stay tuned to meet a man 00:08 that God is using in a marvelous way. 00:10 My name is Jason Bradley, 00:12 and you're watching Urban Report. 00:36 Hello and welcome to Urban Report. 00:38 My guest today is Pastor David Machado, 00:41 Speaker and Director 00:42 of Revelation of Love Ministries. 00:44 Welcome to Urban Report, Pastor Machado. 00:48 Thank you so much for having me. 00:49 I'm super excited. 00:52 It's great to have you here. 00:54 You know, I got the privilege of interviewing you 00:58 on 3ABN Today. 01:01 And I want to introduce you 01:04 to our Dare to Dream viewers and listeners. 01:08 Tell us a little bit about your background? 01:13 I was born into a Christian family 01:15 and very loving parents. 01:18 But when I was about six years old, 01:21 the whole story kind of changed 01:22 when they ended up being separated 01:24 and having to divorce 01:25 and my life took a turn for the worse, 01:27 I guess you can say. 01:30 Well. 01:31 So you said your life took a turn for the worst 01:34 when your parents got divorced? 01:36 Yes, sir. 01:38 What took place? What happened? 01:41 Well, I have a very large family. 01:45 And my mother has a large, 01:48 huge, wonderful, beautiful family 01:50 and my sister and I 01:53 were living with my mother. 01:55 As soon as the divorce was taking place, 01:57 and during that time, 01:59 she was staying with a family member. 02:01 Unbeknownst to her, 02:03 this family member was addicted to drugs 02:05 and other terrible substances. 02:07 And I remember my dad early on as a Christian 02:10 used to teach us to pray before we used to go to, 02:12 before we go to bed. 02:13 And I remember I was kneeling right there 02:15 before our bedside with my mother, 02:18 my sister and I were sleeping on the same bed. 02:20 And I would just say my prayers and all of a sudden, 02:22 I heard this very distinct voice 02:25 in my mind saying, "Get out." 02:28 It was a very, very intense voice, 02:30 a man's voice, strong voice 02:32 and opened up my eyes 02:33 because there was no other man in the room 02:36 other than, you know, just myself 02:38 and my mother and my sister. 02:40 And so I was kind of shocked and I told my mother, 02:41 she said, it's going to be okay. 02:43 And so I remember just getting into bed, 02:46 fell asleep and had this dream. 02:48 I'll never forget, 02:49 there was a bunch of angels flying all around saying, 02:51 "David, get up. David, get out." 02:54 And I remember, I opened up my eyes, 02:57 and I could just smell smoke and drugs 03:00 perfuming the atmosphere in our room 03:03 and I could hear voices, 03:04 different kinds of voices 03:05 coming from behind the bedroom door 03:08 on the other side of our bedroom door 03:09 and I was petrified, 03:11 Brother Jason, just absolutely petrified. 03:13 My sister was crying. My mother was crying. 03:16 I was crying, did not know what to do, 03:19 did not know what was going on. 03:20 Yes, you must have been terrified. 03:24 Yeah, we were and so my mother, 03:26 I asked my mother what we're going to do. 03:27 So I went over and locked our bedroom door. 03:29 And luckily, you know, by God's grace, 03:31 we weren't on the second floor of this apartment complex, 03:33 we were right there on the main level. 03:35 So we opened up the window, we crawled out of the window, 03:39 jumped out of it ran to a neighbor's house, 03:42 apartment room. 03:44 And as soon as we got there, 03:45 I could still hear this family member 03:48 screaming and yelling 03:49 all the way from this person's house. 03:51 And all of a sudden, I heard this big bang. 03:54 And he busted the bedroom door open 03:56 and he said, "Where are you? 03:57 I'm going to kill you." 03:59 And so, from an early childhood, 04:01 I must have been five or six. 04:04 I literally have escaped 04:06 running from my own family members' home, 04:10 escaping death because of the drug abuse 04:12 that was taking place in their life. 04:13 Yes. 04:15 And so as an early child, just saw this stuff. 04:17 It really traumatized me. 04:18 It was terrible. 04:20 I believe it. 04:21 Now what led to you almost being abducted? 04:26 Yes, that's another story. 04:27 So my mother finally, 04:29 by God's grace was able to get her own place. 04:32 She worked really hard 04:33 and we ended up having our own little spot. 04:37 And it was in a good area too. 04:39 But I remember my mother said, 04:40 Hey, David, um, it's time to go. 04:42 Let's go. 04:44 And so my mother, I still remember this, Jason, 04:46 like it was yesterday. 04:47 She gave me this nice big cookie. 04:49 And, you know, 04:50 when parents give you something sweet, 04:52 you usually do what they say. 04:53 So I had that cookie. 04:55 I was the first one out of the door. 04:56 And as soon as I took a first couple of steps 05:00 out of the front door, 05:02 this gentleman, 05:03 there's some bushes right across from the door, 05:06 jumped out of the bushes. 05:07 He had one hand behind his back. 05:09 And he had the other hand extend said, 05:11 come here. 05:12 Oh, wow. 05:13 And as soon as I saw him, I was thinking, 05:15 I don't know who you are. 05:16 I'm not moving any, anywhere close to you. 05:19 But he kept saying, "I have something for you. 05:21 Come here." 05:23 I didn't move, Jason. 05:24 And he wasn't moving, 05:25 he just kept trying to tempt me to come forward to him. 05:28 At that time, 05:29 I just extended my hand with my cookie. 05:31 And I said, "Well, do you want this?" 05:33 And he says, "No, I have something for you, 05:35 come here." 05:36 So he saw that I wasn't moving. 05:38 So he began to move towards me. 05:40 And just about when he was arm's length away, 05:42 he removed his other hand that he had behind his back 05:45 and he had a knife. 05:46 And he said, I said, come here. 05:48 And at that exact moment, he was about to grab me. 05:51 When my and I have to say this. 05:53 My Puerto Rican mother walks out of the front door 05:57 and she sees him. 05:58 Now I don't know, Jason. 05:59 I know last time we kind of talked about this, 06:01 but I don't know if you've ever met 06:02 a Puerto Rican mother, 06:03 and when they get angry, it is like a hurricane. 06:06 It is not pleasant. And my mother saw this man. 06:09 He was much bigger than her. 06:11 He had a knife in his hand. He was about to grab me. 06:13 And as soon as he saw my mom, 06:15 he just turned around and booked it. 06:17 He started running, 06:18 and my mother just start running after him. 06:21 Now, Jason... 06:22 Now how tall is your mom? 06:25 My mom's probably like 5'6", 5'7". 06:28 So this grown man just started. 06:30 She was chasing this man and he was, he took off. 06:36 He was petrified. 06:38 Unfortunately, my mother didn't catch him 06:41 and neither did the police 06:42 because she ended up calling 06:43 and they couldn't find him or anything. 06:45 And so, Jason, at this time, 06:47 I don't know I'm six, seven years old. 06:49 I've had experiences with my own family members 06:53 that have almost ended my life. 06:56 I'm petrified of them to a certain degree. 06:58 And now I'm petrified of this man who I never met, 07:02 who was trying to kill me. 07:04 And so as a little boy, six, seven years old, Jason, 07:07 I didn't want to live anymore. 07:10 I didn't, I thought is this what life is about? 07:13 I'm afraid of my own family. 07:14 This man's after me. 07:16 As a little boy, I remember instead of going out 07:18 and playing with my cousins or my friends outside, 07:21 I was too scared. 07:22 I thought, well, maybe that man is around the corner 07:24 just waiting for me 07:26 to just take a wrong turn or something 07:28 for him to finish off what he started. 07:30 I only felt safe when I was close to my mother. 07:34 And, Jason, as a little boy, 07:36 a lot of trauma 07:38 that I unfortunately went through. 07:39 Yeah. 07:40 And that you said six or seven years old, 07:43 you didn't want to live anymore? 07:46 Yes, yes. Wow. 07:49 I oftentimes thought in my mind 07:51 if, if I'm going to, 07:53 if this is what life is about, then why? 07:57 Well, I don't want to live this kind of life 07:58 where I'm petrified every minute of the day 08:01 of everybody, terrible. 08:03 Wow. 08:05 So, what happened? 08:06 Let's continue on down through your journey. 08:09 What happened as you got older? 08:14 Yeah, you know, a lot happened. 08:17 I guess one of the big experiences 08:21 that I went through 08:22 was when I got into high school. 08:25 You know, I just, 08:27 I got into a lot of trouble with the law. 08:30 By the time my senior year in high school, 08:32 I was going to be going to jail 08:34 instead of graduating with my graduating class, 08:36 just a lot of poor decisions. 08:38 And I mean, just all kinds of mischief 08:40 I was getting into 08:42 because that's what kind of my environment was 08:43 for a very long time. 08:45 And, Jason, I was not happy. 08:49 You know, even doing everything 08:50 that the world says for you to do, 08:52 I was doing it. 08:53 I was having fun doing it. 08:55 But every single night when I would go to bed, 08:57 I was not satisfied. 08:58 I was not happy. 09:00 Genuinely inside I had this emptiness 09:02 that nothing in this world could fill. 09:04 Yes. 09:05 And so I ended up 09:07 not going to prison by God's grace. 09:09 It was a relief. 09:11 I did a lot of community service. 09:13 And yet I still didn't learn my lesson. 09:15 I didn't know what to turn to or who to turn to. 09:18 And so at that time, 09:19 finally, someone handed me a flyer. 09:23 And it was unusual because basketball was my life. 09:26 And this guy I played basketball with 09:28 and he said, David, you got to go here. 09:30 And Jason, he said, ex rapper at this church, 09:34 but in my mind, 09:35 I just heard rapper at this church. 09:37 Wow. 09:38 And so he's invited me to go to church to. 09:41 In my mind to go hear a rapper 09:42 and I was kind of interested in that music at that time. 09:45 And so I was like, 09:46 man, I never heard anyone rap at church. 09:48 I think I'm going to go to this. 09:49 Yeah, the Holy Spirit allowed you to hear 09:51 what he needed you to hear to get you to go over there. 09:56 Absolutely. 09:57 And, Jason, I have to tell you, it was perfect timing. 10:00 And God works in such mysterious ways 10:02 because I remember 10:04 I was standing in front of this huge church 10:06 thinking I'm going to go to a rap concert. 10:08 And I said one of my first prayers ever 10:11 because up to this time I was so angry with God 10:14 with all the things that I went through as a child, 10:15 I didn't even know if there was a God. 10:17 How could there be a God 10:18 if He allowed me to go through so much suffering and pain? 10:22 And I just said for the first time, 10:23 one of my first prayers, 10:25 I said, "God, if You're real, I need You to speak to me now. 10:28 Please speak to me if you're real." 10:30 And, Jason, I was seeing this thinking 10:34 he was going to speak to me through a rap concert. 10:36 And I walk into the church and I see this man, 10:40 African-American man, bald head, huge goatee, 10:42 come to the front, in a suit 10:43 and I'm thinking I've never seen a rapper 10:45 rapping in suit. 10:46 It's going to be interesting. 10:48 And it happened to be Pastor Ivor Meyers. 10:51 Yes. 10:52 And Pastor Ivor Meyers shared his powerful testimony, 10:55 was a series then in 2007 10:58 called Escape from the Black Hole. 11:00 And he shared his personal testimony. 11:02 And I have to tell you, Jason, at first, I was angry. 11:04 I thought this guy tricked me. 11:06 He said he was going to go to a rap concert 11:08 and this guy ain't rapping 11:09 and he's talking about his testimony. 11:10 And so, I was quite angry at first, 11:13 but then I just started listening. 11:16 And I was amazed 11:17 that this man turned down an $800,000 contract 11:20 in the early 90s for God, 11:22 this man had everything right in his hands. 11:25 And I thought if I just had that money, 11:27 if I just had that life, 11:29 then I would be free 11:30 from all the pain and suffering I ever went to. 11:32 But this man turned it all down 11:34 for this man named Jesus Christ. 11:36 And I have to tell you, Jason, for the first time in my life, 11:40 I actually was paying attention 11:41 to what this man was saying in church. 11:44 And it moved me to the core, he made an appeal. 11:47 Whoever wants to give their life to Jesus, 11:48 come to the front. 11:50 And, Jason, I, 11:52 the first thought that came to my mind was this. 11:55 There's no way God wants me. 11:57 I'm such a great sinner. 11:59 I've done so much bad stuff. 12:01 You know, I've gone too far. 12:04 There's no way God would accept me. 12:06 And as soon as those terrible thoughts 12:08 are entering my mind, 12:10 the next thing that Pastor Meyer said was, 12:12 it doesn't matter what your reputation is, 12:14 it doesn't matter what you've done. 12:16 God loves you and He wants you now. 12:19 Come to the front. Amen. 12:20 Jason, I didn't reverently go to the front, 12:24 I ran to the front 12:25 with tears streaming down my face. 12:27 I was like, Lord, this is You, You're speaking to me. 12:30 And for the first time in my life, 12:32 I actually felt completeness, satisfaction, joy 12:35 that I never experienced in all my life. 12:38 Man, that is huge. 12:41 When you were describing that moment, 12:42 I actually got chills, 12:44 because it's so beautiful that God can get a hold of us. 12:49 You know, there's so many people 12:51 in the world 12:52 but yet He can speak directly to you. 12:54 And He can be speaking to somebody else 12:57 at the same time, 12:58 but He's speaking directly to you. 13:00 It's incredible. 13:01 So you ran down there, 13:03 you gave your heart to the Lord. 13:05 Now what did the journey on the other side of that 13:08 after you gave your heart to the Lord, 13:10 what happened? 13:12 Well, immediately after that, Jason I wanted, 13:15 I had a lot of questions. 13:17 I suffered a lot. I've went through a lot. 13:20 I'm starting to believe there is a God, 13:22 but I have a lot of questions like, 13:23 why would bad things happen to good people? 13:25 Why would bad things happen to young people? 13:26 Why did I go through abuse? 13:28 Why did I go through all this suffering, 13:30 all this trauma? 13:32 And I got plugged up with somebody plugged in 13:35 with Bible studies 13:36 and things of this nature and slowly but surely, 13:38 I started getting involved in church. 13:40 I still remember the first time 13:41 someone asked me 13:43 to have opening prayer during church. 13:45 Jason, I didn't know how to pray. 13:47 I mean, that was one of my first prayers 13:48 that I said earlier at that time 13:51 and I wrote down my prayer, 13:53 I had them checking to make sure 13:54 I wasn't disrespecting God or anything. 13:56 But the Lord grew me from there. 13:58 I ended up going to community college, 14:01 still at during this time, 14:04 part of the way 14:05 I did not have a relationship with God. 14:07 This was kind of before the Ivory Meyers, 14:09 the Escape from Black Hole. 14:10 And during my middle time of college, 14:13 I was taking a speech class. 14:15 Anyways, halfway through the semester 14:16 I went to that series, gave my heart to God, 14:19 gave a speech in this public university 14:21 about the love of God. 14:22 Young people started giving their lives 14:24 over to Lord Jesus. 14:25 And from there, Jason, I had this intense desire, 14:28 as I saw the impact that 14:30 that God could use someone as weak as myself 14:33 to share some simple stories 14:35 and what God has done for me 14:36 to see Buddhists and other people 14:39 that don't believe in God come to know God. 14:41 I said, you know, this is what I want to do 14:43 for the rest of my life. 14:45 And so from there, I went to college. 14:47 I did canvassing for about 10 years. 14:49 And in 2017, Pastor Kenneth Cox asked, 14:54 asked my wife and I to join him in his ministry, 14:58 and since 2018 of June, that's what we've been doing. 15:02 We've been traveling all over the world 15:04 doing Bible prophecy seminars, doing revival seminars. 15:08 Just being able to see what God can do 15:12 through the Word of God, preaching the Word of God. 15:15 Yes, I mean, that is huge. 15:16 First off you were at a public university, 15:19 sharing the love of God. 15:22 Sharing the love of God, Jason. 15:23 I mean, that is incredible. 15:25 So let's transition a little bit 15:27 into ministry miracle stories? 15:31 Sure. 15:33 Oh, man, where to start? 15:35 You know, Jason, 15:37 God has been so good to me and to our ministry, 15:40 Revelation Love Ministries. 15:43 One of the things that really was powerful 15:46 that I have to share early, 15:49 sometime in 2020, 15:51 I was doing an evangelistic series, 15:54 and there was a lady I'll never forget. 15:57 She was one of the first ones there. 15:59 And this is in Arkansas, we're doing a series there. 16:01 And this lady comes up and she says, 16:04 "Are you guys having a Bible prophecy seminar?" 16:06 I said, "Yes." So she was like, "Okay, 16:07 I'm kind of nervous." 16:09 She sat down. 16:10 Anyway, she came faithfully every single night. 16:13 I'm going to fast forward all the way to the end, 16:14 this woman is baptized. 16:16 Now, let me tell you what happened, Jason. 16:18 This is where the story gets good, 16:19 because this is where she kind of opened, 16:21 started opening up to me after a baptism, 16:23 or during the time she was getting, 16:25 preparing for baptism. 16:26 She said, David, my husband died 16:28 three and a half years ago, 16:29 three, three and a half years ago, 16:31 every single day, since his death, 16:34 I've contemplated committing suicide 16:36 every single day. 16:38 And, David, I had no purpose to live or anything 16:40 but the first night ever since I came to you, 16:42 I mean, I did not miss one night. 16:44 Ever since that for one month straight, 16:47 I have not thought of suicide once. 16:50 Not, I've never, I haven't thought of it 16:52 once the Word of God came into my heart 16:54 and it's brought healing to my soul. 16:57 I mean, you could tell He was transforming her 16:59 because work in the health profession 17:01 she is witnessing, 17:03 she is praying with patients. 17:04 At her baptism she had about seven or eight co-workers 17:08 that worked with her in the hospital, 17:10 come to her baptism 17:12 and get to see 17:15 the amazing testimony of this woman 17:17 whose life was changed. 17:18 And so, Jason, I mean, I've had experiences 17:21 of seeing people who, 17:23 at the end of their rope, 17:24 depressed, suicidal, witches, gangsters, 17:28 all kinds of people come to hear the Word of God. 17:30 And as a result, 17:32 their life is completely transformed. 17:34 Wait a minute, you said witches and gangsters. 17:36 Let's go to the witch story. 17:38 Let's transition into that. 17:41 Sure, there's actually a number 17:44 of witch stories that I could share. 17:46 Let's see. Let me do this one. 17:48 This was not too long ago. 17:50 I was doing evangelistic series again. 17:52 And there was this lady that was attending 17:54 every single night, 17:55 didn't miss a night. 17:57 Finally, she, the baptismal night comes, 17:59 I make an appeal for baptism, she makes a decision. 18:02 Now, Jason, guess what happened? 18:04 What happened? 18:05 She comes up to me and I said, "Okay, 18:06 I would like to sit down with you 18:08 and talk about baptism, 18:09 answer any questions that you have. 18:11 When's a good time?" 18:12 She says, "Well, wait a minute before that meeting, 18:13 I've to tell you something. 18:15 I'm not worthy to be baptized." 18:18 And I said, "Why so?" 18:20 She's like, "I can't tell you now. 18:23 I'm afraid to tell you." 18:26 And I said, "Well, 18:27 you don't have to tell me, you could tell the Lord," 18:28 but, you know, we'll have a few days. 18:31 In a few days, we'll have 18:32 actually a whole meeting just you and I, 18:33 out with everybody. 18:35 And you could tell me, 18:37 you can tell Jesus will go through it. 18:39 God loves you and His grace is sufficient for you. 18:40 I just want to let you know that. 18:42 Yes. And she said, "Okay." 18:44 Anyways, it came to the baptismal clearing day, 18:47 and I was meeting with her 18:48 and another individual church member 18:49 was with me, 18:51 and she just started off by saying, 18:52 "Listen, I'm a witch." 18:55 Now, Jason, I don't know. 18:57 I've had experiences with witches before 18:59 and when they introduce themselves 19:00 like that it's a little bit awkward 19:02 because what do you say 19:03 like, well, it's nice to meet you 19:05 kind of a thing, you know. 19:06 Yes. How do you respond? 19:07 Exactly. 19:09 But she said, You know, I've been a witch, 19:12 and the serious kind of witch 19:13 where she's literally cast spells, 19:15 people have died, etc. 19:18 And she said, I've been coming to the seminar 19:22 and I've experienced the power 19:24 I've never experienced in all my life. 19:26 But I don't think I'm worthy. 19:28 I've done so much sin and evil in my past. 19:32 I don't know if God will ever accept me. 19:34 And I was able to share with her personally 19:36 how God's grace is sufficient. 19:38 He loves you. 19:40 He desires you, He cherishes you, 19:42 and you don't have to be worried about it. 19:44 He paid the price for all of your sins, 19:47 just accept Him into your life. 19:49 Jason, she started crying. 19:51 And she says, "I can't believe 19:52 someone would love me that much." 19:54 And, Jason, 19:57 I finished the clearing session with them 19:59 and that that the following week 20:01 I saw her baptized. 20:02 And this was almost a year ago. 20:05 Jason, I just talked 20:07 to a church member recently of that church 20:09 and she's one of the most active church members 20:12 in that church on fire for the Lord. 20:15 Wow. 20:16 That is incredible. 20:18 You know what? 20:19 I might have to talk to you after this interview 20:22 and see about getting her testimony. 20:25 Absolutely. 20:27 I'm sure she would love to. 20:28 Yes, yes. 20:30 Yes, but we've been very blessed. 20:32 Amen. Amen. 20:34 And I know you mentioned the gangster, 20:37 but I also want to talk about some of the series 20:40 that you have like the Go Series. 20:41 We're running low on time, down to under 10 minutes. 20:47 Wow, okay. 20:49 Yeah, no problem. 20:50 So we do a number of series, 20:52 not just for the public 20:53 like a public Bible prophecy seminar, 20:55 but we do like an evangelism seminar 20:58 for the church to get church members excited 21:00 about doing evangelism. 21:02 And so we call it the Go Series, 21:04 God's Gospel Go mission. 21:06 And it's just all about Matthew 28. 21:09 God's called each and every one of us, 21:11 every disciple of God to go out there 21:13 and preach the gospel. 21:15 And so here's a little video 21:17 that kind of describes 21:18 what this whole Go Series is all about. 21:20 I love it. 21:21 Let's check out what the Go Series 21:23 is all about right now. 21:26 Get into his marvelous light 21:28 is to gain a knowledge of Jesus' character. 21:31 We are to reach every ethnic group. 21:34 We are to reach as many people as God has given us 21:37 the blessing to reach. 21:39 Every single church member is called to do something 21:42 for the Lord. 21:43 If you want to save anyone, you got to serve them. 21:46 One of the signs of true conversion 21:48 is you have a deep desire to share Jesus with others, 21:51 so that one soul could find the savior of the universe. 21:54 Go to those who cannot repay you. 21:57 The secret, the power of winning souls 21:59 comes from looking at the cross 22:01 and being inspired by what He has done for us. 22:03 The church has many excuses for not doing 22:06 what God has commanded us to do. 22:08 God has given us a chance of a lifetime, friends. 22:11 Heaven is looking to see what you and I are going to do. 22:19 Wow. 22:21 That looks like a powerful series 22:22 and we all need to be doing something special for Christ. 22:25 That's right. 22:27 Amen. 22:28 Yeah, so this series has been especially tailored 22:31 for those that want to be excited, 22:34 a little bit more excited, 22:35 motivated to be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. 22:37 And it's a seven-part series. 22:39 It's not too long, 22:41 not too long of a series but it's, 22:42 it'll definitely be worth the while 22:44 for every true disciple of Christ 22:45 to watch and be blessed by. 22:47 Yes, yes. 22:48 Now tell me the story of the gangster? 22:52 Okay. 22:54 I was asked to come to visit a hospital for a patient 22:59 that was requesting a pastoral visit, 23:01 and so I came 23:02 not knowing who it was going to be. 23:04 As soon as I walked into the patient's room, 23:08 I noticed teardrop tattoos coming down the person's face. 23:12 And immediately I knew this person has killed people. 23:16 And so I began to... 23:17 He immediately said, "Well, are you a pastor?" 23:18 I said, "Yes." 23:20 He's like, "Do you have any time for me?" 23:21 I said, "All my time is yours." 23:23 And so he said, "Okay, 23:25 well, I just want to introduce himself." 23:26 He says, "I'm the leader 23:27 of the Mexican Mafia in Los Angeles. 23:30 And he began to share with me his story. 23:31 He's been shot, I believe, over 14 different times 23:34 pronounced at four different times. 23:36 Longest he's been in a coma has been for six months. 23:39 And as I was looking at this 38-year old man, 23:42 he's a quadriplegic, 23:43 and he was telling me 23:45 every single event he's ever had, 23:47 the killings, the deaths, 23:49 the sinful life that he lived, and he shared with me. 23:54 Jason, I'm there for two hours just listening to this man. 23:58 Shared the worst story I've ever heard 24:01 any individual shared with me. 24:03 And then after he shares everything, he says, 24:05 "I have a question for you, Pastor David. 24:08 Can God forgive me?" 24:11 And, Jason, I have to tell you, I'll never forget this. 24:15 I said, "Brother, 24:17 have you ever heard about Jesus?" 24:20 And this is in the United States. 24:22 He says, "No, I never heard about Jesus. 24:25 Who is Jesus?" 24:26 I said, "Wait a minute. 24:28 Have you read the Bible?" 24:29 He's like, "Bible. 24:31 No, I don't know how to read. 24:32 I don't know who this Jesus is. 24:33 I haven't read one verse in the Bible." 24:35 He said, "Who is Jesus?" 24:38 So I said, Jason, 24:40 "Is this man really asking this question, 24:41 who is Jesus in the United States of America, 24:44 Protestant nation." 24:45 And so, I said, "Do you have five minutes, 24:48 I want to share with you something." 24:50 For the next five minutes I shared with him 24:52 the story about the thief on the cross, 24:54 a man who didn't know about Jesus 24:56 but who lived a similar life as this gangster. 24:59 And I shared with him 25:01 how Jesus didn't just die for him, 25:04 but He died for you. 25:07 And He's paid the price, 25:09 the penalty of his sins and He's done that for you. 25:13 Jason, do you know what he did? 25:14 What he did? 25:16 This gangster began to weep, began to cry. 25:20 And I remember I was looking at him 25:22 and he couldn't move from the neck down. 25:23 He's a quadriplegic. 25:24 So he says, "Pastor David, 25:26 can you wipe the tears off of my face. 25:27 Gangsters don't cry." 25:29 So literally, I came close. 25:31 And I began to wipe the tears off of his face, 25:33 and I said, "Brother, 25:35 do you want to experience that peace 25:38 that the thief on the cross experienced? 25:40 God is offering it to you right now, do you want it? 25:43 Yes. He says, "How do I get it?" 25:45 I said, "Brother, just believe 25:47 that the death that Jesus Christ did 25:50 2,000 years ago was for you, 25:52 to give you a new life, a new beginning today. 25:55 He said and Jason, I never I'll never forget this, 25:58 he began to weep again cry and he says, 26:02 "I believe, I believe." 26:04 Praise the Lord. 26:06 And, Brother, I began, 26:07 I got close 26:08 and I wiped the tears off of his face again. 26:10 I said, "Brother," I leaned really close 26:11 and I said, 26:12 "You're no longer a gangster anymore. 26:14 You are a child of the Heavenly King." 26:16 The very next thing he said, Jason, 26:19 he says, "Please tell young people, 26:20 old people wherever you go, wherever you go, preach, 26:23 tell them to give their life to Jesus now, 26:25 before it's too late." 26:26 He says, "Listen, 26:28 I've done everything under the sun, 26:29 every sin you can imagine. 26:31 And look what the world has done to me. 26:32 I can't move. I am dying. 26:34 Please tell everybody, my story 26:37 and tell them I am more alive now 26:40 in this moment 26:41 than I've ever been my whole life 26:43 because of Jesus." 26:44 Amen. That is powerful. 26:46 I can't believe 26:47 our time is running away from us. 26:50 I want people to know how to get in touch with you 26:52 because I'm sure they're going to want you 26:54 to speak at their church 26:56 or how can people reach out? 26:59 Yes, so our ministry 27:00 is Revelation of Love Ministries 27:01 and people could contact us 27:03 to get into our training seminars 27:05 or soul winning seminar, things of that nature. 27:08 They could contact us 27:09 at PO Box 1027, Loma Linda, California 92354. 27:14 That we could give, 27:15 people could give tax deductible receipts there, 27:18 send it off to that PO Box. 27:19 They would like to talk to us personally, 27:21 our number is (432)-279-1888. 27:26 Again, that's (432)-279-1888. 27:29 If they would like to email us or contact us or book us 27:31 for an event, 27:33 that training seminar or Bible prophecy seminar, 27:36 they could do at RevelationOfLove.com. 27:38 Wonderful. 27:39 So if they want to send their tax-deductible love gift, 27:41 they can send it to that PO Box, 27:43 or get in touch with you online. 27:45 I'm going to have to have you on 27:47 for a part two of this. 27:48 Thank you for taking the time out to be on the program 27:51 and for all you do for the cause of Christ. 27:53 And I want to thank you at home for tuning in. 27:57 Join us next time, remember, 27:58 it just wouldn't be the same without you. |
