00:04 #S067 - You're Enough (Part 2)
00:20 Welcome to the Breath of Life.
00:21 Television ministries broadcast with Pastor Debleaire Snell.
00:25 In today's episode.
00:27 Pastor Snell will continue part
00:30 two of the powerful message titled “Your Enough”.
00:34 Now let's go deeper into the word of
00:39 not funny, because some of us are listening to this thing
00:41 and saying, we'll pass him.
00:43 I'm still upset that God here is in one season
00:48 but hit on the answer for 40 years later.
00:51 But Betsy, one of the things I'm learning church
00:55 is that sometimes God has to let the fruit
00:58 get ripe.
01:02 See, in this time of waiting, not only does God
01:07 prepare a deliverer,
01:10 he prepares the people to be delivered.
01:14 Okay.
01:16 See? 40 years earlier,
01:20 deliverance would have been convenient, but
01:22 God had to let it get to a place where it was critical.
01:28 In other words, the way God prepared the people is
01:31 He had to let the oppression run its course.
01:35 He had
01:36 to allow their disgust to mount.
01:40 He had to allow their frustration to swell.
01:43 He had to allow their discontent with Egypt
01:47 to run its full course before he showed up to deliver them.
01:51 Why, Pastor, did God have to let it
01:55 get that bad to deliver them?
01:58 Well, think about it with me, Church.
02:00 What was their solution in the wilderness?
02:03 Whenever it got hard.
02:07 If their solution after the 40 years
02:10 was to go back to Egypt,
02:14 if God had showed up a moment earlier,
02:17 they wouldn't have even walked out of the door.
02:20 And so God had to let it get so bad
02:24 and so desperate and so hard that they would finally walk
02:28 through the door that God opened
02:32 and see there are some of us that are praying for deliverance
02:35 from some things.
02:37 Some are praying for deliverance from a habit.
02:41 Some are praying for deliverance from some soul ties.
02:45 Some of us are praying for deliverance from a situation.
02:48 But see, some of us don't recognize
02:50 that, though we hate the consequences.
02:53 There's still a familiarity and a comfort there.
02:56 And sometimes God
02:57 has allowed that predicament to get so uncomfortable
03:02 and so unmanageable and so unlivable
03:06 that you actually walk out of the door when God opens it
03:11 seems crazy because God
03:13 says, I've come down to deliver them.
03:18 Now, now that word in the Hebrew, on the soul.
03:21 It's a very interesting word.
03:22 It is a word, too, which means to cats
03:26 or it means to rescue.
03:27 In other words, what God is literally painting
03:30 a picture of is him being like a midwife,
03:34 helping someone deliver a pregnant child
03:38 and see how many of us understand
03:39 that deliverance has to have a certain desperation to it.
03:44 What do you mean?
03:44 How many of us
03:45 ladies can testify that after a certain period of time
03:48 of being pregnant, at some point,
03:52 deliverance
03:55 is going to become involuntary.
03:58 I once you get to a certain level of pregnancy,
04:02 it's going to happen whether you want to or not.
04:05 But you got to be so full
04:07 and so ready and so determined
04:12 that you're willing to push away the ladies that today.
04:15 In other words, the doctor don't deliver the baby.
04:19 The doctor just catches the baby when he comes.
04:23 But it is because the woman is full
04:26 that there is an involuntary delivery.
04:29 And what I'm saying is that when you get full of frustration
04:33 and you get full of this content and you're full of your anger,
04:38 that's when there is a delivery and God says, I'm
04:42 just going to catch you and push your mission forward.
04:47 Y'all hear me today? CHURCH
04:49 But this is the point.
04:51 I want to notice something that that.
04:53 Wow, Moses is in the mountain and God is talking to him.
04:58 The children of Israel are still there in bondage.
05:01 The same day he's talking to Moses,
05:05 they're still weeping in Egypt.
05:08 But I want you to notice something is that even though
05:11 there is no evidence of a delivery, there is no momentum.
05:15 There is no groundswell.
05:17 There is no.
05:17 No nothing that is suggesting
05:19 that the days are going to change.
05:21 Today was just like the one before that.
05:24 But I need you to know that God gives Moses the plan.
05:28 Notice the detail He gives him.
05:30 He says when you bring them out,
05:34 oh, god,
05:36 he says, when you bring them out,
05:38 you're going to bring them to this mountain and worship me.
05:42 He says, This is what I'm going to do
05:44 when Pharaoh resists and hardens his heart.
05:47 He makes it clear
05:48 this are the signs that you give them
05:50 when they don't believe you.
05:51 He says,
05:52 I've already prepared a land
05:54 that is flowing with milk and honey,
05:57 and they're going to drive out the headlights and the lights
06:00 and the parasites.
06:01 In other words, while they are in Egypt
06:04 trying to figure it out, God is already on the outside
06:09 and he has worked that thing out.
06:12 And it's crazy because God has already determined
06:17 that there is an expiration date on their time in Egypt.
06:21 There is an expiration date for their bondage.
06:24 There is a time of completion for this cruelty
06:27 that God had already set up, a day
06:31 where their weeping was going to end.
06:36 Okay.
06:38 See how many of us know that God had already told Abraham
06:41 how long the bondage was going to be?
06:44 So God not only had a start time,
06:48 God also had a concluding date.
06:51 I need somebody in the trial to know
06:55 that your trial had a start date, but
06:57 it also has an expiration date
07:01 that God has freed, determined a season
07:05 where your weeping is going to end,
07:08 where your financial issues will be complete,
07:10 where those marital issues will turn around.
07:14 I need somebody to rejoice because this trial has
07:17 an expiration date.
07:19 This sickness has an expiration date.
07:22 This struggle has an expiration date.
07:25 And how many can rejoice
07:26 that this world has an expiration date?
07:30 Because he that cellcom will come and he will not carry?
07:37 Thank God that trouble will last always.
07:43 And see, this is the true friends.
07:44 Because God doesn't always tell us when it's going to happen.
07:49 I just have confidence that it's going to happen
07:54 as he brings this.
07:55 Why, if you don't take the journey of faith,
07:56 you got to leave the wind up to God.
08:00 You just got to occupy till he comes.
08:01 You have a witness out there today. Me It's
08:04 kind of like this.
08:05 Anybody ever order food on DoorDash?
08:08 Minister Very fantastic app, man.
08:12 Man Where you ain't got to go and get the food
08:13 they can you in order and they'll deliver it to you.
08:17 But man, one of the things that messes me up on DoorDash is
08:19 they have this function where you can see where the driver is
08:24 and you can see where they are
08:25 on their way to getting the food.
08:27 You can see where they are
08:28 when they're bringing the food to you.
08:29 If I'm ordering here church, they always get lost
08:33 somewhere, even as Boulevard man.
08:34 And I'm sitting there in my office pounding my desk
08:37 because I'm
08:38 mad about how long it's taking for you to get there.
08:43 But now what I do is I don't sit there and watch
08:46 how long it's gonna take.
08:47 I just hit, send or accept, and I just trust that
08:52 because the payment has been made that
08:55 it's gonna come and it's on the way.
08:58 And I just need some faithful believers
09:02 to trust that, because the payment has been made.
09:06 You just need to know the blessing is on the way.
09:10 I need you to know your healing is on the way.
09:13 I need you to know provision is on the way.
09:17 I need you to know protection is on the way.
09:20 And when life gets hard, remember that Jesus is
09:23 on the way to come and receive his children.
09:30 You are
09:31 here in the word today, friends, and in the words is here
09:34 in verse number 11.
09:36 But Moses said to God,
09:38 Who am I
09:41 that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should
09:45 bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.
09:48 Third thing this teaches us friends.
09:50 Simple message.
09:51 Just a bridge.
09:52 You can't need somebody to know that you are enough.
09:58 That's right.
10:00 See, what you're going to see in coming weeks
10:02 is that Moses offers a number of excuses
10:06 as to why he can't go.
10:09 I mean, he lays it all out before God.
10:10 He's like me, God, I can't speak Lord.
10:13 They not gonna believe me, man, Lord, man,
10:14 I don't have the resume, Lord, I don't have an army.
10:18 And guess what, man?
10:19 I completely get it and I understand it.
10:21 But I need to know that all of those excuses
10:24 are undergirded, are somewhat summarized in that
10:26 one question that Moses asked when he says, Who am I
10:31 that I should go?
10:33 And What undergirds that question, friends,
10:37 is this sense of unworthiness and a lack of value
10:42 that suggests that I am not enough
10:47 to do what God says and see friends.
10:50 I get it
10:51 because there is something about Moses that cannot believe
10:54 that little or insignificant me
10:59 can be called by God to do that big thing.
11:04 And friends, I get it, man.
11:05 I have been there more times than I care to imagine.
11:08 I understand what he means, man. I ain't got no army.
11:11 I don't have the pedigree.
11:12 I don't have the political clout.
11:14 I don't I don't have the resume.
11:17 I don't have the standing
11:20 in order to go and tell a pharaoh anything.
11:25 In other words, my my resumé is not commensurate
11:28 or concurrent with this particular assignment.
11:31 And no, this church. Help me.
11:32 Stay with me.
11:33 Notice that Moses disqualifies himself.
11:41 I need you to
11:41 notice something in this dialog.
11:44 Who is the one that brings accusation?
11:48 Who is the one that points out all the flaws?
11:52 Who is the one that points out all of the lack?
11:55 Who is the one that identifies what he is? Not.
11:58 Who is the one that says what he cannot do?
12:02 Notice that none of that rhetoric comes from the bush.
12:07 It all comes from inside of Moses.
12:11 As he friends.
12:13 It communicates one of the traits of the fallen nature.
12:17 See, I need you to get that.
12:18 One of the greatest traits
12:19 of the fallen nature is not just a bend towards sand.
12:24 It is a bend towards self-sabotage.
12:29 See, humanity.
12:29 No matter how much bravado we have, man,
12:32 no matter how strong our exterior,
12:35 no matter how much swag in our walk.
12:38 I need you to know all of us have this imposter syndrome
12:40 operating inside of us, that we have this inner critic
12:45 that somehow raises up and best in moments.
12:50 And it comes in the form of that same inquiry that says,
12:53 Lord, who am I
12:56 to do what you're calling?
12:59 And so I need you to get that sense of I'm
13:01 not what I can't do, who I'm not, what I'm lacking.
13:06 I need somebody to hear me on this.
13:07 It is not the work of the Holy Spirit.
13:11 This rhetoric or these refrains come from the flesh.
13:16 It's funny
13:16 because we will literally
13:18 proffer up excuses as to why I can't grow
13:20 and why I can't do this and why I can't do that.
13:25 And we will fill our lives with all these reasons as to why
13:29 we can't when the powerful promise of the Scriptures
13:32 is that I can do all things
13:36 through Christ, who gives me the strength.
13:39 And let me just be clear when I say this,
13:41 I want to say to somebody that humility.
13:44 It is not humility to insult your self, criticize
13:47 yourself, demean yourself, or degrade yourself.
13:51 How many of us know that
13:52 humility is not an awareness of just how flawed I am?
13:56 It's my awareness of how perfect he is.
13:59 Humility is not me just recognizing what I'm not.
14:04 Humility is the recognition that my help comes from God.
14:09 Y'all hear me today, friends?
14:11 So that. Guess what?
14:12 I should humble myself.
14:13 I should deny myself.
14:15 I should submit myself.
14:17 I should yield myself.
14:19 But I should never degrade myself.
14:22 I should never doubt myself.
14:23 I should never hate myself.
14:25 I should never sell myself short.
14:28 I need somebody to know that in Christ,
14:31 you are enough.
14:34 Are you out here in the Word today
14:37 and say, we love to preach
14:39 about the sin of self inflation, but it's also a sin
14:44 to self deflate?
14:49 See, the problem is we think our value
14:53 is earned through performance.
14:56 How many of us know that I have value that is inherent
15:02 simply because I am a child of the most high God?
15:06 Lord, I wish somebody would wake up
15:08 to the truth of this word today.
15:10 I need you to stop assessing your value
15:13 based upon the degrees behind your name.
15:15 What?
15:16 Behind the neighborhood where you live
15:17 or the type of car that you drive?
15:19 How many of us know that it is not
15:21 how much you get paid that brings you value.
15:24 You have value because of the price that was paid
15:27 in order to procure your salvation.
15:31 So y'all don't believe me?
15:32 Can I go to the word for just a moment?
15:33 I'm almost done.
15:34 Genesis Chapter one in verse 26, I need you to see some things
15:38 in the Scripture today Genesis, chapter one and verse 26.
15:41 When you get there, let me say Amen.
15:44 Genesis chapter one and verse 26, the Bible says.
15:48 Then God said, Let us make man in our image
15:52 according to our likeness
15:54 and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
15:58 of the birds of the air, and over the cattle
15:59 and over the earth
16:00 and every creeping thing that creeps up the earth.
16:03 So God created man in his image.
16:06 Dissolve cats, that church.
16:07 I need you to know friends and not see too many of us.
16:10 This is just a theological truth
16:11 that am created in the image of God.
16:13 I need you to understand that you have divine DNA
16:18 inside of you, that you've got the very imprint
16:23 of God that governs and guides all of the affairs of your life.
16:28 I need somebody to understand that you are okay
16:32 simply because you bear his resemblance.
16:36 Jeremiah Chapter one in verse five
16:39 Can we look a little further in the word?
16:40 Jeremiah Chapter one and verse five.
16:42 Just a few things I need you to see.
16:44 Jeremiah Chapter one and verse five.
16:46 When you get to let you say, man,
16:48 Jeremiah, chapter one and verse five.
16:51 When you get this, they pass from there.
16:53 So the word says this Before
16:57 I formed you in the womb, as I knew you
17:03 before you were born, I sanctified
17:05 you and I are danger a prophet to the nations.
17:09 Did you catch what the word says?
17:11 Now I need you to know that this does not just apply
17:14 to the Prophet Jeremiah.
17:15 There is a larger spiritual truth for us all.
17:19 The Bible lets us know that Jeremiah was formed
17:22 in the womb, that he was developed
17:27 by the hand of God, that he was shaped
17:30 for a particular purpose and that function.
17:33 Why is that critical? Brother Perry?
17:34 Because most of us think we are born.
17:38 When the truth is you are formed.
17:42 See if I'm just born.
17:44 That's just a result of biology taking its normal course.
17:49 But I need you to know that your life
17:50 is not just the result of sperm or fertilizing egg.
17:54 I need you to know that
17:55 within the science of it all, that God oversaw
18:00 the very formation of your lives,
18:02 and that God assigned purpose and God input gifts
18:06 and God developed a temperament.
18:08 And God gave you talents.
18:10 And God put something in you to impact the world
18:13 for His glory.
18:18 And see, I need you to know that because you are formed,
18:22 you are formed for a function.
18:26 And see, that's why you should never fear
18:29 when you are confronted with your function,
18:31 because you are formed for that very thing.
18:34 So you need not live a life of intimidation or fear
18:38 because you are formed to do
18:39 whatever it is that God is calling you to do
18:41 here in the world today. Friends.
18:43 You are born to carry the weight.
18:45 Whatever you're in is not too heavy.
18:47 You are formed for it.
18:50 It's funny, I remember a while back
18:52 my wife and I were in a furniture store.
18:53 I don't know if you've ever seen and like.
18:55 And in these stores it's this outside law and stuff.
18:58 It's like these these pods
19:01 that have like a metal back that come over the back
19:03 and they hang by this little string.
19:04 All of a sudden, these little pods.
19:06 And so we were in the store with it.
19:08 And and, you know, they were saying, man,
19:10 you can get these pods on sale.
19:13 And they were like, Mr. Snell, you can go ahead and sit down
19:14 and test the little pod.
19:16 And I was looking at that little string that was holding it.
19:19 And then
19:20 I was a
19:21 nervous about that string because I wasn't sure
19:22 that string can hold all this anointing.
19:25 You're not hearing the bass today.
19:26 And I was just like, Man, I ain't getting in that
19:29 because I ain't trying to pay for nothing in this store.
19:31 I don't want no situation.
19:32 And he was just like, No, go ahead and try it.
19:35 It is.
19:36 Well able to handle the weight.
19:38 And Malcolm,
19:39 he began to articulate that, ma'am,
19:40 the rod was made of titanium for strength.
19:44 And another element for elasticity.
19:48 And he says it's up, able to handle up to five or £600.
19:51 I was like, I'm straight.
19:52 It still looks too small in order to hold me.
19:56 And he says, Listen,
19:57 I need you to sit in it because it would be doing us a favor.
20:02 Because he's
20:03 saying that because of the elastic element,
20:05 they need heavy people to sit in it
20:09 because if it's never stretched,
20:11 it loses its capacity.
20:14 So that if it never holds anything heavy,
20:18 it loses its capacity
20:20 because it was formed to carry heavy things.
20:24 Can I just say to anybody that's carrying a heavy weight
20:28 that God saw before you were born,
20:32 the load you're gonna have to carry.
20:35 And he gave enough strength and enough elasticity
20:39 so that you can hold whatever he put in front of you.
20:43 It may cause you to bend, but you not gonna break
20:47 because the hand of God
20:50 is gonna hold you up
20:53 and it's gonna keep you from falling.
20:57 And see, this is it church.
20:59 Because, see, there are some of us that resonate with Moses
21:04 because Moses says, Who
21:05 am I to do this big thing?
21:09 And some of us are sitting with a bunch of excuses
21:13 as to
21:14 why we're not operating and calling it moving in faith
21:16 and stepping outside of our comfort zone.
21:17 Because you're asking yourself that same question, who am I
21:23 to go back to school?
21:26 Who am I to stand up in front of people?
21:29 Who am I to write something?
21:32 Who am I to record something?
21:35 Who am I to be on the Dean's list?
21:38 Who am I to be successfully married?
21:41 It's crazy
21:42 because the devil has actually used some of our past against us
21:46 with such skill
21:47 that some of us don't even think we deserve better.
21:53 But I need you to know that if you're a child
21:55 of the most high God, it doesn't matter where you've been.
21:59 It doesn't matter what you've done.
22:01 His grace is more than sufficient.
22:04 And where your sin abounds, grace does much more abound.
22:09 You need not be paralyzed by what was.
22:12 You need to stand in the strength of your divine calling
22:17 and see.
22:18 God sent me by here today to simply communicate
22:21 a simple truth to some ambivalent
22:26 and fearful and anxious soul that, God,
22:30 it has you on the precipice of something great.
22:33 He has you on the verge of something supernatural,
22:37 but you're sitting there like Moses and saying,
22:40 Who am I?
22:44 Who am I to lead a ministry?
22:47 Who am I to make a difference?
22:50 Who am I to spark a revival?
22:53 I don't have enough education.
22:54 I don't have enough knowledge.
22:56 And I came from the wrong part of town.
22:57 And my parents are divorced and my daddy wasn't around.
23:01 See, this is the beauty of it all.
23:02 And first Corinthians chapter one
23:04 makes it very clear
23:05 that that that not many mighty not many know,
23:07 but not many elite, according to the flesh was call.
23:10 But God says, man, I call the weak
23:11 things of this world
23:13 to confound the mighty, and I call the foolish things
23:15 to confound those things that are wise
23:16 so that no flesh may glory in my presence.
23:21 So I need somebody to understand this.
23:23 If you think you can't,
23:26 you're in the perfect posture
23:28 to be used by God.
23:32 I need you to know that what qualifies
23:35 you is actually your weakness.
23:38 Because God stripped
23:41 is me perfect in the area of our weakness.
23:46 Y'all hear me today? Church?
23:49 So that God identifies your like
23:54 what you're not.
23:56 And he says, I'm going to sit in my glory in your deficits
24:01 and the way I'm going move.
24:03 I'ma do it in such a way that your life is going.
24:07 Aim, glory in my direction
24:09 and that people will be made wise unto salvation
24:13 by the way God works in and through and inside of you.
24:16 How many of us believe the Word of God today
24:20 and listen, friends of mine,
24:21 God is just wanting somebody to come out of self-loathing
24:26 and self-hatred
24:29 and and just self insulting and self-sabotaging
24:34 and self limiting and low thinking behavior.
24:38 And I need you to realize that in Christ,
24:40 you are more than enough.
24:45 And see, somebody thinks, man, that their problem over there
24:49 is that they're too proud and they're too braggadocious.
24:51 See, I need you to know that sometimes, man pride and outward
24:53 bravado, that ain't nothing but insecurity turned inside out.
24:59 That's just how we mask it began to sing.
25:03 It didn't matter what part of town you came from.
25:05 It doesn't matter
25:06 what area of the world you grew up in.
25:07 It doesn't matter
25:08 what your parental situation might have been.
25:10 It doesn't matter what your last name is.
25:11 It doesn't matter if you're new to the church
25:13 or if you got generations in the church.
25:15 I need you to understand that in Christ you are more
25:18 than enough.
25:20 So God's call to somebody day is to stop being fearful.
25:24 It's to stop being afraid.
25:26 It is to stop proffering up excuses and to allow God
25:31 to feel your deficit and to allow God
25:36 to make up the difference of your life.
