00:05 #S095_”It's Already Done” (Part 1)
00:19 Turn with me in your Bible. 00:20 See the Book of Saint John Chapter four. 00:22 Saint John Chapter four. 00:24 And how many of us need God to do something in our lives? 00:27 Some of us need the Lord tonight. 00:29 Amen. 00:30 I need you to know that there is something 00:31 that God wants us to hear from the Scriptures tonight. 00:35 John. Chapter four. 00:36 And we're going to begin together at verse number 41. 00:42 John Chapter four 00:44 and we're going to begin together adverse 41. 00:46 And I want you to study carefully with me 00:49 because there's some nuances, 00:50 some things that I need you to see in the word 00:53 in order for it all to make sense. 00:54 John Chapter four and verse number 41. 00:57 Again, when you get there, just say amen. 01:00 If you come into the bathroom, come in, write John four 01:05 and verse 41. 01:07 Jesus at this point is doing ministry in the land of Samaria. 01:13 Now the summary towns were not considered to be God's people. 01:16 They were deemed outsiders. 01:18 And I want you to see a contrast as we get into the word 01:22 to those who who are outside responding to the gospel versus 01:25 those who should 01:27 be responding to the gospel because they're on the inside. 01:31 John Chapter four In verse 41, the Bible says, and many 01:36 more believed of his own what 01:40 they believe because what 01:44 in other words, I need you to get this. 01:45 Those who are in Samaria, they believed on Jesus 01:49 because of his word. 01:54 Okay, it's going to come together in a minute. 01:56 Then they said to the woman, Now we believe 02:00 not because of what you said, but we ourselves have heard him, 02:03 and we know that indeed 02:05 he is the Christ, the Savior of the world. 02:08 Now, after two days, he departed from there 02:12 and went to Galilee for Jesus himself testified 02:14 that a prophet has no honor where in his own country. 02:19 So when he came to Galilee, the Galilee, 02:22 and received him having what? 02:26 Seen all the things he did in Jerusalem at the feast. 02:29 And I'm not sure if you catching this 02:31 the Samaritan believe because of the word 02:35 God's people only believe because of what they see. 02:40 You all see it tonight for they also had gone to the feast. 02:44 So Jesus came again to Cain of Galilee, 02:48 where he had made water, wine, and there 02:51 a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 02:55 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, 02:59 he went to him and implored him to come down 03:01 and heal his son, for he was at the point of death 03:05 and notice what Jesus says unto him. 03:08 Unless you people see 03:11 signs and wonders, you will by no means believe 03:17 if the nobleman said it to him, Sir, come down 03:20 before my child dies and notice what Jesus says. 03:23 Jesus said to him, Go your way. 03:27 Your son lives 03:31 so the man believed the what word? 03:35 That Jesus spoke to him and went his way. 03:39 And as he was go now going down. 03:43 His servants met him and told him, saying, Your son's lived. 03:47 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better, 03:50 and they said to him 03:51 yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. 03:56 So the father knew that it was the same hour 03:59 in which Jesus said to him, Your son lives 04:03 and he himself believed and his whole household. 04:07 This again is the second sign Jesus did 04:11 when he had come out of Judea into Galilee. 04:13 But again, I want to for emphasis, verse 50, 04:16 when Jesus said unto him, go 04:19 your way, your son lives. 04:24 So the man believed the word 04:27 that Jesus spoke to him and went his way. 04:31 Tonight, Saints, I want to talk to you 04:32 for a little while under the subject. 04:35 It's already done. 04:38 Now turn to your neighbor real quick. 04:39 Let them know it's already done. 04:43 Ten to your other neighbor. 04:44 Let them know it's not going to happen. 04:48 Tell them no, it's not going to come to pass. 04:51 It's already done. 04:54 Let's look to the Lord as we pray tonight. 04:57 Pray tonight, Father. 05:01 I want to seek and summon 05:04 the power of the Holy Ghost. 05:06 This evening 05:08 I am praying in a very special way 05:11 that your presence would be stout in this room 05:15 and that it would be stout for those who listen online. 05:19 I pray that is the word is being taught 05:22 that faith would be multiplied exponentially, 05:26 that we would not just have a theology of faith, 05:30 but that we would actually go out and live a life of faith. 05:35 So, Lord, would you please help me in the shadows of the cross 05:38 that Jesus alone might be seen, 05:40 that Christ alone would be heard, 05:43 and at the end of our time together, let Jesus alone 05:45 be praised. 05:47 Bless us. 05:48 To this end, we ask in the mighty name of the Christ, 05:50 let those who believe say together. 05:51 Amen. 05:53 Any man you may be seated in the house 05:58 of the 05:59 Lord again talking to you tonight under the subject. 06:02 It's all ready. 06:04 Done. 06:08 Church. 06:11 The purpose of this message tonight 06:15 is to cancel every worry, 06:19 anxiety, concern 06:22 and stress that exists 06:25 in the body of Christ. 06:29 In Isaiah 65, in verse 24, the Prophet says that it's going 06:34 to come to pass that before 06:37 you call, he's going to answer. 06:42 And while you're yet speaking, he's going to hear 06:46 one of the reasons Jesus said you should not worry 06:50 is because he says Your Heavenly Father knows what you need 06:56 before you even ask him. 06:59 And if the Scripture is true, it means that God doesn't start 07:04 working once you start requesting. 07:07 But God's work actually predates 07:10 any request that you make of the Lord. 07:13 And I want to declare to somebody tonight 07:16 that everything that concerns you, 07:19 everything that bothers you, everything that stresses you, 07:24 everything that is complex in you. 07:28 I need you to know that it is already complete 07:30 and done in Jesus Christ. 07:34 In other words, I need somebody to know 07:35 that the provision has all ready been made, 07:40 that the opportunity has already been prepared, 07:44 that the House has already closed, that 07:47 the right spouse is already being developed. 07:51 I want you to know that the battle is already 07:53 been won, that the healing is already in route. 07:57 I want somebody to know that you can sleep well, 08:01 that it ought to be peace in your soul 08:04 because it is not all going to happen. 08:07 I need you to know it's already done. 08:10 Now, please note that there is a difference 08:14 between when it's done and when it's revealed. 08:18 Because there are some things that are already done. 08:21 They just haven't been 08:22 manifest, are revealed to you, his children. 08:26 And there is somebody 08:27 that's praying and saying, Lord, I need you to do it 08:31 when the truth is you just need God to reveal it 08:34 because God has already worked in the future 08:37 so that what you need is already done. 08:39 And I'm going to turn to you, man. Okay? 08:42 Let me let me share this testimony. I'll share. 08:46 I remember a while back, my wife and I had come upon 08:48 some difficult financial times. 08:51 We had some medical bills that mounted to the heavens, 08:55 and we were about $700 short of what we needed to make it 08:58 to the end of the month. 09:00 And I remember we had calculated and plotted 09:04 and there was no earthly solution available. 09:06 And we were on the verge of calling home to our parents 09:09 for the first time since we had been married 09:13 and before we got on the phone to call 09:16 my wife said, Let's spend another day in prayer. 09:19 And I remember that night we got down on our knees and prayed. 09:23 Now, sir, I don't know if you've ever 09:24 prayed one of those prayers 09:26 where you claim every promise in the Word of God. 09:30 We got down on our knees and I said, Lord, 09:32 you said you would open up the windows of heaven, 09:36 Lord, you said you would supply all of our needs. 09:39 Lord, you said the righteous would never be forsaken. 09:41 Lord, you said. 09:43 And so we got down on our knees and prayed. 09:46 And I remember the very next day I went out to the mail box 09:50 and I got an envelope from the Kentucky Department of Revenue. 09:55 I said, Lord, I ask for a blessing. 09:56 And you sent another bill with my name on it. 10:00 And I opened up the envelope. 10:01 Louis And the letter said, Mr. 10:03 Snap, we regret to inform you that on the previous year 10:09 we overcharged you for the property taxes on your house. 10:12 On this inner 10:13 envelope is a refund check in the amount of 1100 dollars. 10:17 I'm not here with me tonight. 10:19 In other words, God took it from me the year before, 10:24 allowed it to mature, and Heaven's Storehouse 10:27 sent it before I prayed so that by the time 10:30 I got to the mailbox, it was already done. 10:35 And what I'm saying to somebody tonight is you're waiting on 10:38 God to do it when the truth is is already done. 10:42 You just need God to reveal it. 10:45 Are are you all in the church tonight? 10:47 And so quickly, I want us to go back to the word this evening. 10:52 Now, friends, I want you to understand 10:54 that our text tonight is actually filled 10:57 with more truth than I can preach in one sermon. 11:02 But the first thing it teaches is that desperate 11:04 action will pull you out of a long distance 11:08 relationship with God. 11:11 Hmm. You see in our story tonight, friends, 11:15 we find a noble man whose son is sick with a fever 11:21 and understand that the issue may not be the fever, 11:24 but the fever is a symptom of a much more grave disease. 11:30 And the truth is that the medicine of the day 11:33 has a lid and the experts have given up the sun for day. 11:39 And this crisis moment appears as the popularity of Jesus 11:44 is beginning to swell and peak and understand. 11:47 This man hears about the works of Jesus 11:52 and he plans a confrontation with the master. 11:56 Now please note that the noble man 11:58 comes to see Jesus in person, 12:02 and in fact, the Bible identifies Him as a noble man, 12:07 so that we will know that he is a man of some stature 12:11 in the society as a noble man, they suggest that 12:15 maybe he was on Herod's cabin cabinet in the royal court, 12:20 or maybe he was an officer in the military. 12:23 But what the Bible is letting us know 12:26 is that he is a person of some stature. 12:30 Now, the reason that is critical is that his movements 12:34 are not congruent with the important people of the day. 12:38 You see, back then, a nobleman for an introduction 12:41 would not come and meet Jesus in person. 12:46 He would send an emissary to summon Jesus to come to him. 12:50 A more polite, noble man would send a representative 12:54 to meet with Jesus. 12:55 Representative 12:57 so that have I can have my people get with your people 13:01 so that we can come together, but understand 13:04 that he doesn't have time for social pleasantries 13:08 and he doesn't have time for the order of the day 13:11 because his son is on the precipice of death 13:15 and understand that he knows that he cannot send 13:19 a representative, he can't send an emissary. 13:23 He's got to go and tell Jesus this himself 13:28 and know this church. 13:29 There are other people that can speak the words. 13:34 There are other folk that can convey the message. 13:38 But he knows that there are certain things 13:41 that Jesus needs to hear from his own heart. 13:45 And the reason that's important, Church, 13:47 is because I believe in the power of prayer. 13:50 Do I have a witness tonight? 13:51 I believe you ought to 13:52 get all the folk praying for you that you possibly can. 13:57 But there comes a point in life where you can't send 14:00 a representative. 14:02 You can't be dependent on an ambassador. 14:05 At some point. 14:06 You've got to get out of a long distance relationship 14:10 and you've got to go and talk to Jesus for yourself. 14:15 In other words, church, 14:16 you need to recognize that there are four tensions in life 14:21 that will get you out of a long distance relationship with God. 14:23 When there is 14:24 tension over your money and tension over your health 14:29 and tension over your house and tension over your work. 14:33 In other words, there are certain things 14:35 that require you to go before the altar 14:38 because the truth is came. 14:39 Nobody talk to God about your money like you can. 14:44 Can't. 14:45 Nobody talked to God about your house like you can. 14:49 There's nobody can talk to God about your health like you can. 14:53 And sometimes times God allows those tensions 14:56 so that you stop depending on third parties 14:59 and you come before the puts and the altar 15:02 and you lay on your face before the Almighty God 15:07 and see how many of us understand 15:08 that there is a reason 15:10 that sometimes God allows some desperate reaction, 15:15 because desperation makes makes you get rid of the middle man. 15:19 See, see. 15:20 Sometimes desperation will cause you to stop relying 15:25 on others to pray, and desperation will push you 15:29 into the secret place where you should have been all along. 15:32 Help me, Holy Ghost. 15:33 God, allow some tension to get your attention. 15:39 God, allow some tension to create some intimacy 15:44 and fellowship 15:45 so that you don't have others come in to guard on your behalf. 15:49 But you come to the garden alone 15:53 while the do is still fresh on the roses and see friends. 15:57 I need you to get this truth tonight. 15:59 There was a reason 16:00 that when Jesus died that He destroyed the temple. 16:05 There was a reason that Jesus taught the veil and hair. 16:08 That was the reason Jesus put the priests out of a job, 16:12 because we were no longer 16:14 to be able to stand in the out of court. 16:17 But God wanted you to come behind the veil and meet 16:20 with the kind of glory and enter into the holy of holies. 16:26 Is there anybody thankful tonight that you don't need 16:28 somebody to talk to Jesus on your behalf? 16:32 But because of the cross, you've got access 16:34 to the Lord for yourselves. 16:38 And you are here in the world tonight. Friends. 16:41 Second thing this story teaches us, Beloved, 16:44 is that miracles go further than medicine. 16:48 And now this boy, Friends, 16:53 is receiving medical treatment. 16:56 In fact, most people believe that 16:58 because of his father's great stature, 17:02 that he probably is receiving the best treatment 17:05 that medicine can provide for the day. 17:07 But understand that medicine at this point has a lid 17:13 and the father is in need of a solution. 17:17 The only Jesus Christ is able to provide and see. 17:20 The thing that I want to pass to say is because 17:23 one of the mistakes we make as the people of God 17:27 is sometimes we pit miracles 17:30 against medicine. 17:33 Okay? 17:35 So we'll say stuff like, I don't need medicine, 17:38 man's medicine. 17:39 I'm just going to trust in God. 17:41 And what we do is we put medicine and surgery 17:46 and chemo in the unbelief category 17:50 and we say, I'm just going to rely on God. 17:53 And what we do is we see medicine 17:55 as secular and only miracle as holy. 18:00 And the thing I want to say quickly is 18:02 why would you put medicine against miracle 18:06 when they both come from the same place? 18:08 Okay. 18:10 Why am I pitting 18:11 medicine against Miracle when they both have the same daddy? 18:15 Y'all not hear me tonight, church? 18:17 In other words, 18:18 I'll be honest with you, I marvel and I'm amazed 18:21 by some of the breakthroughs that happen in medicine 18:25 and medical technology and surgeries. 18:28 I need you to know, friends, that I am grateful 18:31 that there is a COVID vaccine. 18:34 I am rejoicing that there is medicine that can slow down HIV. 18:39 I am rooting for cancer research. 18:43 I am rooting for an alternative to dementia. 18:45 I am rooting for a healing for Parkinson's disease. 18:51 And see, the problem is you're saying 18:52 that I don't believe 18:53 in man's medicine, that the rest of the world. 18:58 Do you believe that the devil created medicine 19:02 that relieves pain, helps 19:05 people get better and extends the quality of life? 19:09 No, that didn't come from the devil. 19:12 John King says that the thief only comes 19:15 to steal and kill and destroy. 19:19 But Jesus says I've come that they might have life 19:22 and have it more abundantly. 19:25 In other words, anything that adds to the quality of life, 19:30 that relieves pain and relieves suffering is not of the enemy. 19:34 It has to be of God. 19:38 And it's funny because some of us, this entire medicine, 19:41 y'all can be inconsistent 19:42 because you're talking about 19:43 how ain't going to 19:44 take medicine, why you got glasses on your face. 19:48 And I hear what I'm saying today, search and see. 19:52 I guess what I need us to understand 19:54 is that we got to recognize that even earthly innovation 19:59 and medical breakthrough is because of God. 20:03 Okay, y'all don't believe me. 20:04 That's going our Bibles today. 20:06 Proverbs, chapter two and verse six. 20:08 I need you to see some things in the word tonight. 20:10 Proverbs, chapter two and verse number six. 20:13 Can we study for a minute tonight? 20:15 Proverbs two in verse six, 20:17 when you get there, let me hear you say, man, 20:19 proverbs two and verse number six again. 20:23 When you get there, just say pastor him there. 20:26 The Bible says, for the Lord 20:28 gives what wisdom, and from his mouth 20:33 come all knowledge and what understanding. 20:37 Go to Deuteronomy 29 and verse 29 there in the Old Testament. 20:41 Deuteronomy chapter 29 and verse 29. 20:46 See, the problem is we don't glorify God in it 20:49 because we don't realize that God is the cause of it. 20:52 Deuteronomy 29 And verse 29, 20:55 the Bible says The secret thing 20:58 belongs to the Lord, our God, but those things 21:02 which are revealed belong to us 21:05 so that whenever a mystery is revealed 21:09 and a secret is made known, it is because God is at work. 21:13 Y'all hear me today? Church Go to James. 21:15 Chapter one and verse 17. 21:17 They're in the New Testament, James chapter one and verse 21:21 number 17. 21:23 I y'all with the pastor tonight. 21:25 James chapter one and verse number 17. 21:29 The Bible says Every good 21:31 and every perfect gift 21:33 is from above and comes down from the father of lights, 21:38 with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 21:42 And what I'm saying 21:43 tonight, church, is, I believe as long as we are on this side, 21:47 there's going to be 21:48 the development of disease that harms the quality of life. 21:53 But God is going to raise up men and wisdom 21:56 and whom he assigns wisdom 21:59 to help push back the tide of disease 22:01 and help us have a quality of life. 22:05 See, the problem is we can see the work of the spirit 22:08 in a bottle of medicine. 22:11 But how many of us understand that the Spirit of God 22:15 would come upon Sampson so he could fight battles? 22:19 The Spirit of God would come upon 22:21 Nehemiah Builders so they could build the wall. 22:25 The Spirit of God was upon Daniel and the three Hebrew 22:28 boys to understand literature and science. 22:31 And if the spirit can come upon a soldier and a builder 22:37 can come out, a doctor or a surgeon or an inventor, 22:41 I don't know about you, but I want my doctor to know Jesus. 22:46 I hear in the past tonight. 22:49 In other words, friends, the problem with 22:50 some of us is we think God only gets the glory 22:55 if the one that performs the act gives the glory to God. 22:59 But how many of us know 23:00 that even of those that perform it don't give God the credit? 23:05 It doesn't mean that God doesn't get the glory 23:07 because every good and perfect gift comes from above. 23:11 So I pray that the surgery works. 23:14 And if it does, I thank the surgeon. 23:16 But guess what? The glory goes to God. 23:18 I pray that the Tylenol 23:20 makes your head stop hurting, but the glory goes to God. 23:25 I pray that the physical therapy makes you well, 23:28 but the glory goes to God. 23:30 Just because man put his hands on it doesn't 23:32 mean God doesn't get the glory. 23:36 Are y'all here in this tonight church and see friends of mine? 23:39 How many of us understand that 23:40 as believers we are not anti-science? 23:44 In fact, I love how Ellen White says. 23:45 She says science is simply where man puts into laymen terms the 23:50 hidden works of God. 23:52 In other words, trends. 23:53 Again, we're not anti-science. 23:55 Or our only problem with science is this, is that science 23:59 sometimes refuses to live with mystery. 24:03 It will not accept a boundary. 24:05 It has to come to a conclusion. 24:08 And so it will put something as a fact 24:11 and then change the facts. 24:12 Upon further examination and see friends of mine. 24:15 I believe that God is raising up men and women, some 24:18 that do natural medicine, some that do conventional medicine. 24:23 But the truth is that source 24:24 of all medicine and all healing is Jehovah. 24:29 Now I think I want to say real quick, is that the same way 24:32 you have to test the religious prophets, 24:36 you need to test medical prophets. 24:38 Come on and say, Matt, 24:40 matter of fact, you need to do your research 24:42 and ask God 24:43 to guide you during some of your stuff that you take. 24:47 I don't know if you ever see some of these medicine 24:48 commercials where they talk about all of the side effects. 24:53 You better test the spirit 24:55 to see whether or not they are of God. 24:57 So, man, 24:58 when he says the side effects include headaches, nausea, pain, 25:03 vomiting, hair loss, suicide ideation and or death, 25:06 you might need to look at another option 25:09 and recognize that your help may be somewhere else. 25:14 And so I need you to know that God is the source of medicine. 25:17 Are you all with this tonight? 25:18 CHURCH Thank you for joining us for the Breath of Life. 25:22 Television Ministries broadcast with Pastor Debleaire Snell. 25:28 We hope and pray that you have been blessed 25:30 by this powerful message. 25:32 Join us next week for part two of. 25:36 It's already done. 25:37 You don't want to miss 25:40 it.
