00:19 of the last installments of the Eleventh Hour Evidence, 00:23 pardon me, the Eleventh Hour Evidence coming to you 00:26 live from Battle Creek, Michigan. Again I am your 00:28 host Pastor Jason Seiber and I am glad that you are 00:31 joining us. Pastor Asscherick has told us that 00:33 he has a message which will require your full attention. 00:36 So, make sure that you will find your comfortable spot. 00:39 Get out your paper and prepare to take notes at a 00:42 high speed. And, I emphasize high speed tonight we are 00:47 going to try to give him as much time. Before he do that 00:49 though, Eric Umali is saying bye with a special song for 00:52 us this evening, Eric what do you have first? 00:55 Song entitled 'There is no doubt'. Why don't you 00:57 go ahead and share that with us right now? 01:10 There is a question; my heart is giving to us. 01:19 Is my life only within without. 01:27 Have I've been faithful to work obediently without a 01:37 question there is a doubt. But there is no doubt in him 01:48 most holy, in him who's the love washes pure within 01:56 without. There is no doubt in him most faithful, in him 02:07 who's word is my life. There is no doubt. 02:18 There is no question, I can no longer ignore. 02:26 What will tomorrow be all about, will I be able to 02:39 face the future of Lord. Without a question, 02:47 there is a doubt. But there is no doubt in him most 02:56 holy, in him who's the love washes pure within without. 03:06 There is no doubt in him most faithful, in him who's 03:15 word is my life. There is no doubt, there is no doubt. 03:33 There is no doubt in him most holy, 03:42 in him whose blood washes pure within without. 03:50 There is no doubt in him most faithful, in him whose 03:59 word is my life. There is no doubt, there is doubt. 04:19 Amen, isn't it good to know that there is no need for 04:22 doubt when it comes knowing Jesus Christ? 04:24 And we're here this evening to have a firm foundation 04:29 presented to us so that we will not be led to a 04:31 doubt at a very critical juncture in the near future, 04:34 I wanted to share a short story with you. 04:36 Before I came back here to Michigan, I came from the 04:39 north coast of California which is Eureka, California 04:43 or Cutten, California for those of you, who know 04:45 your geography. In fact, I know my mom is 04:47 somewhere out there right now watching this program 04:49 and that's exciting. But before I came back here, 04:52 I used to be a pilot, now I am a Pastor, and pastors 04:56 don't fly. At least most of us, we don't have enough 04:58 money for it. But when I was flying back in those 05:01 days, we, we followed the stories what was happening 05:05 out there and there was a, there was a really sad story 05:09 about a couple of young men who got into a plane filled 05:12 it up partially with fuel, in fact they didn't filled 05:14 it up, they put all, it was already partially fueled. 05:17 And they decided they were going to take a quick 05:18 jump over to, the gambling establishments of Nevada 05:26 and so as they took off for Nevada to go and enjoy 05:29 themselves, Reno as they turns out, they began trying 05:32 to plot there, plot there distance to see how far they 05:36 were in, and how far they had gone by referencing 05:39 ground points and they realized they were only 05:41 flying with there air speed at over a 100 miles per 05:45 hour with the ground speed of less than 50 miles 05:48 per hour. And so they weren't going to be able to 05:50 make it to their destination. So, they decided well we 05:52 better turn around and fly back home. So, they turn 05:54 around and began flying back home and they flew for 05:57 the same amount of time that they had flown up to that 06:00 point for an entire hour. But they were able to find 06:03 a hole to get down through the fog; the fog 06:05 was obscuring the ground and when they finally 06:08 decided to call up Seattle Center and ask where they 06:11 were, Center came on and said, young men you're over 06:15 a 100 miles out of sea, 100 miles out of sea. 06:19 By this time they were just about out of fuel, 06:21 they turned the plane around and tried to make 06:23 their way back toward land and the last that was 06:26 heard from them they were trying to prime the engine, 06:28 just getting a little bit more fuel in there before one 06:31 of them came on the radio and said, we just wanted 06:33 to tell our moms we are so sorry. We're so sorry about 06:37 what's happened. It's important friends not to 06:40 be deceived. It's important to find out a way through 06:43 the clouds. That's why we need Jesus, that's why 06:45 we need the word of God, and that's why we need 06:47 Pastor Asscherick's message tonight. 06:49 Amen. Wow a sad story, isn't it? Yeah. Very sad, 06:53 thank you Jason for giving us good introduction. 06:57 How was your day today everyone? Good and nice day. 07:02 You seem rather subdued, maybe it's the weather. 07:05 Well, I have a wonderful day and I am not doing fine. 07:10 Amen. Amen. Remember fine is a texture not an 07:13 attitude. Our message tonight is entitled, 07:15 'does Jesus Christ have a Twin, part 2? 07:18 And we are going to continue last night's message we 07:21 are talking about the Antichrist, his identity, 07:24 his mission, his scope, his goals. And tonight we will 07:27 actually be revealing who this Antichrist is. 07:29 We will need maximum amounts of time and we will 07:32 be moving at maximum velocity and so let us 07:35 began with a word of prayer we will dive 07:37 right into our message proper. 07:42 Father in heaven, father this story has brought to 07:47 our minds how important it is that we're assured 07:49 we are on the right track. Father in heaven we pray 07:52 that tonight that you will peal back the deceptions 07:56 that Satan has cast over this world. Father some 08:00 messages are not easy to preach and I freely confess 08:02 that. Father some messages would be easier to leave 08:06 unpreached. But father I say with the apostle Paul 08:10 woe on to me if I preach not the Gospel. Amen. 08:14 Father in heaven I pray that tonight as we preach 08:16 this message that is perhaps difficult for some to hear, 08:20 that your spirit will be right with us, right near 08:26 us, so that we can be confident that every 08:27 conclusion that we arrive at is a Biblical conclusion, 08:30 and father that we can have the confidents that what 08:32 we have learned is a claim thus saith the Lord. 08:36 Please father, be with us tonight as we open now thy 08:38 word, speak directly to our hearts and to our 08:41 minds, we ask in Jesus name and everyone can say amen. 08:47 Alright, without wasting anytime let's drive right 08:49 into review from yesterday our message is entitled, 08:52 Does Jesus Christ Have A Twin part, 08:54 what everyone 2? And let's go head long into 08:58 some review very quickly. Yesterday, we talked about 09:00 the three offices of Jesus Christ, in Matthew Chapter 09:02 12 Jesus said: I am greater than Jonah, I am greater 09:05 than Salomon and I am greater than the temple, 09:06 what was Jesus saying? I am the consignment 09:08 prophet, the consignment Priest, the consignment 09:10 King. Who is a prophet? One who speaks for God. 09:14 Who is priest? One who ministers for God, 09:16 and who is a king but one who rules for God. 09:19 So, Jesus says I am uniquely qualified to speak 09:21 for God, to minister for God and to rule for God. 09:25 He is the prophet, the priest and the king, 09:28 if these make sense say Amen, amen. 09:29 All review now lets us continue, we saw that in 09:32 2 Thessalonians 2 the Apostle Paul refer to the 09:35 Antichrist figured by several monikers. He said 09:38 the man of sin and the other one we want to holding 09:41 on is the son of perdition. Now, remember that 09:43 phrase there, the son of perdition it was used to 09:45 describe only one other person in the canon of 09:47 scripture and who is that? Judas Iscariot, that's right 09:50 from John chapter 17 and verse 12, 09:52 Father of all thou hast given me I have lost none 09:54 but one, the son of perdition that the scripture 09:56 might be fulfilled. And so when Paul here uses this 09:59 phrase this moniker. The son of perdition he is 10:02 immediately drawing the attention to the fact that 10:04 this Antichristian power will not be a violent opposer 10:07 from without like the Roman Emperor may have been 10:11 opposing the ministry of Jesus, but rather a subtle 10:13 betrayer from within like a Judas Iscariot. 10:16 Not betraying with a punch, but betraying with a what? 10:20 A kiss. So as we continue, we drew this very salient 10:24 and Biblical conclusion and that is, that the 10:26 Antichrist will appear, not as a violent opposer but 10:31 as a subtle what everyone, imposter. In fact I can 10:34 even add these two words. The Antichrist will not 10:37 appear as a violent political opposer, but as a subtle 10:41 religious imposter. Would that be fair yes or no? 10:45 Be very fair and in keeping with what we 10:47 learned yesterday. Now, let's hold on something that 10:50 we didn't cover exactly yesterday but is the out 10:52 working of what we spoke of and it is at least in part 10:54 review. Satan will use the Antichrist as a front man 10:58 in order to obtain worship for himself, in order to 11:03 obtain worship for himself. Let us go very quickly to 11:06 Isaiah chapter 14. Listen to my words carefully because 11:09 I am going to do my best to choose them carefully, 11:13 the longing desire of Satan's heart has been, 11:16 since the inception and inauguration of his rebellion, 11:19 to receive the worship, phrase and adoration of 11:21 other beings, in a sentence Satan wants worship. 11:27 Satan wants what words that I say? Worship! 11:29 Now he comes right out and essentially says this in 11:31 Isaiah chapter 14 beginning in verse 12, 11:33 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, 11:36 son of the morning? How you are cut down to 11:38 the ground, you who weakened the nations? 11:41 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into 11:44 heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of 11:48 God; I will sit on the mount of the congregation on 11:51 the farther sides of the north. I will ascend above 11:53 the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. 11:57 What is Satan saying here in these verses? 12:00 In a sense he saying, I want my throne to be equal no, 12:04 yet greater than the very throne of God so that 12:08 I can receive the worship, praise, adoration, 12:10 and armiger of all of Gods created beings. 12:13 And so we say in a sentence that the longing desire 12:16 of Satan's heart sends the inception of his rebellion 12:19 has been to receive worship. What word did I say? 12:23 Worship! Worship, now this, this intoxicating 12:26 desire to receive worship reached its pathetic and 12:29 ridiculous climax in Matthew Chapter 4. 12:31 You remember Matthew chapter 3, Jesus had been 12:33 baptized after that the Bible says he was lead by 12:36 the spirit into the wilderness. He was there 12:39 tempted on three areas, the lust of the flesh, 12:42 the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. 12:43 Satan first came to him and said If thou be the 12:45 Son of God, command that these stones be made into 12:48 bread. And he said it is written that man shall not 12:50 live by or Man does not live by bread alone, 12:52 doth not live by bread only, but by every word that 12:53 proceedeth out of the mouth of the God, they said 12:54 I know why you are here, you are here to be the 12:55 Messiah. Cast yourself down from this temple, 12:58 word has written, he will give his angels charge over 13:00 thee, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a 13:02 stone. And he protested and said It is written, 13:05 Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 13:08 Now, the next temptation was incredible, Satan 13:10 realized he could not get in the first area he could not 13:12 get in the second area and so he just pulled out all the 13:15 stuffs, pulled all the cards in the table and said. 13:18 You see all this beautiful kingdoms of the world, 13:20 you see the earth and all of its grandeur and glory, 13:23 I will give it to you. He said I know why you have 13:26 come Jesus and I'll make it easy for you. You're gonna 13:29 have to go through the cross, you will have to go 13:31 through death ceremony, it's gonna be hard, 13:33 it's gonna be tough, it's gonna be difficult. 13:35 I will just give you a shortcut right now, 13:37 if you will just bow down and what? Worship me. 13:42 Here Satan's desire, this intoxicating, inebriating 13:47 insane desire for worship reached its pathetic climax 13:51 when he had the temerity and the audacity to ask 13:54 the very creator of the universe to worship 13:57 a created being. At the very moment that Satan 14:01 requested Jesus to bow down and worship him. 14:04 Jesus was holding and sustaining Satan's life in his 14:07 hand. It is an absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous 14:10 proposition yet it showed the insanity and 14:13 intoxication of Lucifer Satan's mind. The longing 14:18 desire of Satan's heart is to receive the worship 14:21 praise and adoration of the heavenly universe. 14:25 Now, let's notice that in Revelation Chapter 13 very 14:28 quickly, because in Revelation Chapter 13, 14:30 the Antichrist chapter we find two beasts, how many 14:33 beasts everyone? Two, two beast the first beast comes 14:36 up out of the sea and theologians with their 14:39 erudition have creatively called this beast, 14:43 the Sea Beast. Pretty good don't you think? 14:47 And the second beast comes up out of the earth. 14:49 And the theologians again with their creative erudition 14:51 have called him the Earth Beast, very good you 14:54 catching on its not difficult at all isn't it? 14:56 Now, the Earth Beast is the second beast, the Sea Beast 15:00 is the first beast we are going to identify the first 15:03 beast tonight and that beast friends is the 15:05 Antichrist. But what happens is, it says the 15:07 Antichrist rises up the Bible says, he receives a deadly 15:11 wound and so another beast raises up and causes 15:15 the earth to worship the first beast whose deadly 15:18 wound was healed. Now, notice this beginning in verse 15:21 1, let's we will do this through this very quickly 15:22 and I want you to notice something that I called the 15:24 switcher Route, and that's the theological term the 15:27 Switcher Route. Revelation chapter 13 and verse 1 15:30 then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a 15:31 beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads 15:33 and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on 15:35 his heads a blasphemous name. This is the Antichrist 15:38 beast. Verse 2, now the beast, which I saw was like 15:40 a leopard and his feet were like the feet of a 15:42 bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion, 15:44 and the dragon gave him his power, his throne, 15:46 and great authority. Now, notice that the dragon 15:48 gives him three things his, you say with me, 15:51 his power, and his throne, and his great authority. 15:57 Satan hands it over to the Antichrist. Now you might 15:59 protest as I would think to do why would that the 16:03 dragon be so willing to renounce and to give over 16:06 and to discard his power, his Satan as great 16:08 authority, the answer comes in next two verses. 16:10 Notice verse 3: And I saw one of his heads as if 16:13 it had been mortally wounded, the king James 16:15 wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and 16:18 all the world marveled and followed the beast. 16:20 Now verse 4 contains the switcher route, watch for 16:23 it, verse 4: So they worshiped the dragon who 16:27 gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the 16:29 beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to 16:31 make war with him?" Did you catch it, yes or no? 16:33 Yes! In verse 4 who is being worshiped? The dragon! 16:39 And who is the dragon? Satan or the devil! 16:42 Now, notice how is that the dragon has been worshiped, 16:44 is he being worshiped directly? No, no, no friends, 16:48 he's been worshiped through his vicar, through his 16:50 vicar, through his representative namely the 16:54 Antichrist and because Satan props up the Antichrist 16:57 as his front man gives him power, his Satan his greater 17:01 authority when you worship to Antichrist 17:03 because he has set this fellow up you are actually 17:05 worshiping him who stands behind as a puppet master 17:08 Satan himself. Satan is smart enough to know that 17:11 no Christian would bow down and worship him if 17:13 they knew he was the devil and so he sets up religious 17:16 figure, but when you worship that religious figure 17:18 in reality according to the Bible, you are worshiping 17:21 Satan. Amen. Now, think about the significance of 17:24 that, Satan here is able to get the very desire of his 17:29 heart, namely the worship of other beings. 17:34 That's why we say Satan will use the Antichrist as a 17:38 Front man and order top obtain the very thing that 17:40 he is long for that is to say worship for himself. 17:45 Now, if this makes sense say amen, amen. 17:47 Now, we discuss the other day, you remember we 17:49 went quickly to Revelation Chapter 13, quickly to 17:51 Revelation 14 and we notice that the dividing issue at 17:54 the end of the time will be the issue of what, 17:56 worship and that should just click together for you 17:58 now because the Satan is longing for worship and 18:01 God gives us to call to true worship. We can 18:03 began to see how the battlefield is setting up 18:07 and how the armies on this side and armies on 18:09 this side are going to be fighting a war, not a war 18:11 with Bazookas and Tanks in it, you know a fighting 18:14 guns and planes, but a war over worship, a war over 18:19 what everyone? Worship, now we just saw this 18:22 beast and he is described, he's an interesting beast 18:24 though and extraordinary amalgamation. And John says 18:27 that when he saw him, he had the body of leopard, 18:29 the feet of bear and the mouth of the lion and ten 18:31 horns. What an interesting ferocious beast, you will 18:34 never see anything like this in the local zoo, 18:36 amen, amen. And praise the Lord for that, 18:38 if you do see it just pray you know. Don't even try 18:41 to run, it will probably catch you. Now, where does 18:45 that imagery come from? Was John you know had 18:47 eaten too much ice cream before he went to bed? 18:49 I mean what would cause him to have such strange 18:53 imaginative kind of vision. Is this some figment of 18:55 John's imagination? The answer was no. 18:58 This comes directly from in Old Testament prophecy 19:02 and that Old Testament prophecy is found in the 19:03 book of Daniel. Go with me to the book of Daniel. 19:07 We're going to Daniel its in the Old Testament just 19:09 after the book of Ezekiel, we're going to Daniel 19:10 Chapter 7. Daniel, what chapter? Seven! 19:13 Now, in Daniel chapter 7 we are going to go over this 19:15 in more detail. We are going to discover the 19:17 Daniel sees four beasts, how many beasts? 19:20 Four beasts: the first was like a lion with eagle's 19:23 wings, the second was like a bear that had three ribs 19:26 in the mouth, the third was a leopard with four heads 19:30 and four wings of fallen, and the fourth beast was 19:32 ferocious terrible beast with ten horns. Now, does that 19:35 language sound familiar yes or no, lion, bear, 19:39 leopard ferocious beast; sounding familiar yes or no? 19:42 The very same components we find in Revelation 19:45 Chapter 13 body of a leopard, feet of a bear, 19:48 mouth of a lion, and ten horns. Now, let's go through 19:52 this as quickly as it is possible and let us know 19:54 what is taking place in Daniel chapter 7, 19:56 I'm beginning in verse 1, in the first year of Belshazzar 19:59 for the king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and 20:01 visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote 20:03 down the dream, telling the main facts. Daniel spoke, 20:06 saying, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, 20:08 the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great 20:10 Sea. Daniel is looking now in symbolic vision, what 20:13 kind of vision, symbolic vision and in symbolic 20:16 vision when Daniel sees the sea he's not looking at 20:19 literal H2O, what he is looking at is peoples, 20:22 multitudes, nations and languages. That's what water 20:25 represents in Bible prophecy according to Revelation 20:27 17:15. So water represents peoples, multitudes, nations 20:31 and languages and the winds here represent 20:34 political strive, blowing across the frothy waves of 20:38 humanity. Now, as Daniel sees this, he notices that 20:42 as humanity is frothing and their anger the political 20:44 military rage beasts began to rise up strange beasts. 20:49 Notice with me in verse 3, Daniel chapter 7 and verse 20:51 3: "And four great beasts came up from the sea, 20:54 each different from the other." The first was like 20:56 a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its 20:58 wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from 21:00 the earth and made to stand on two feet like a 21:02 man, and a man's heart was given to it and 21:04 extraordinary animal no doubt. Number 5: 21:06 "And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear 21:09 was raised up on its mouth between its teeth. 21:11 And they said thus to it: úArise, devour much flesh!" 21:14 After this I looked, and there was another, like a 21:16 leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. 21:19 The beast also had four heads, and dominion was 21:22 given to it. No doubt we are dealing with symbolic 21:25 imagery here that we have four headed leopard with 21:27 four wings of a bird and last but not least there in 21:30 verse 7: "After this I saw in the night visions, 21:32 and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and 21:34 terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge, 21:36 what kind of teeth? Iron teeth! It was devouring, 21:40 breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with 21:41 its feet, it was different from all the beasts that 21:44 were before it, and it had what everyone? It had what 21:47 everyone? Ten horns! Now this is very important if we 21:51 stay right in Daniel chapter 7 and go to verse 23 we find 21:54 what these beasts represent, Daniel Chapter 7 and verse 21:57 23: "Thus he said, the angles speaking: The fourth 22:00 beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth. The fourth 22:05 beast is the fourth what everyone. So, if the fourth 22:08 beast is the fourth kingdom, what's the third beast, 22:10 what's the second beast, what's the first beast, 22:13 you've got it. So, a beast in Bible prophecy represents a 22:16 kingdom, represents what, a kingdom. Now, this is very 22:19 common, it's not unusual even in our modern pollens 22:22 we use words, beast rather to represent nations. 22:26 For example the United States represented by the 22:28 Bald Eagle. The Former Soviet Union represented by 22:30 a bear, France represented by rooster of all things. 22:33 So, it's not uncommon to use beast to represent nations. 22:39 Amen, amen. So, God is away of deep end here. 22:41 He is using something that is very common, it just 22:45 simply a matter of looking at the characteristics of a 22:46 particular animal and comparing it to the 22:48 characteristics of a particular nation. So, then 22:52 Daniel sees this, four beasts coming out. 22:55 Now, let's walk through this as best as we can and see if 22:58 we can put our finger on this. You remember in 23:00 Daniel chapter 2, he talked just briefly about this, 23:02 a man by the name Nebekenezer had received 23:04 the dream and Daniel came in and interpreter that 23:08 dream and he say a great medal man, his head was a 23:10 gold, chest and arms of silver and it's belly and 23:12 thighs are browns and long legs of iron and feet made 23:14 partly of iron and partly of clay. He noticed that image 23:17 until the stone smash the image right on thee. 23:21 Now, what's happening in Daniel chapter 7, it's simply 23:23 a recapitulation or a review of what took place 23:26 in Daniel chapter 2. Well, what took place in Daniel 23:29 Chapter 2? Babylon was represented by the head of 23:32 gold; Daniel said in language that is unequivocal 23:34 and unmistakable thou or this head of gold. 23:38 Followed by Belshazzar kingdom, the kingdom of 23:39 Meadow Persia, the chest and arms of silver, Meadow 23:42 Persia was concrete by Greece the belly and thighs 23:44 and bronze, Greece was in the concrete by the long 23:47 iron monarchy of Rome represented in the legs and 23:49 then it was dived not conquered from without, 23:52 but divided from within Europe. Divided into ten 23:55 components, how many components? Ten components! 23:58 Represented by of course the ten toes and so you have 24:00 Babylon, Meadow Persia, Greece, Rome, and divided 24:03 Rome. That's what Daniel 2 represented. 24:05 Now, in Daniel chapter 7 we find the very same thing; 24:08 notice this incredible quotation from Edward 24:10 Gibbon, the historian. The images of gold, silver, 24:12 or brass, that might serve to represent the nations and 24:14 their kings, were successively broken by the 24:17 iron monarchy of what everyone? Rome! Now where 24:20 that the historian given and get that imagery from, 24:23 gold, and brass, and bronze and silver and iron. 24:26 Where did that imagery come from directly from the 24:29 Bible? Now, what happens in Daniel Chapter 7, 24:32 it's simply a review or recapitulation of what took 24:35 place in Daniel Chapter 2. So, let's think about it 24:37 this way, it's a historical timeline, what kind 24:40 of timeline. And the first thing that he saw, 24:42 what was the first nation. Babylon, then he saw 24:46 Meadow Persia, then he saw Greece, then he saw 24:50 Rome, then he saw divided Rome. Alright I needs to 24:53 be with you more on that we need to have this locked 24:55 in. What was the first one? Babylon, Meadow Persia, 24:59 Greece, Rome, Divided Rome. Are we all in the 25:03 same page, yes or no? Yeah, now what God is going 25:05 to do in Daniel Chapter 7, is give us the very same 25:08 sweep of history, but throwing some salient 25:11 details. Now, if we go to the screen we will notice 25:14 that the head of gold is synonymous with the lion 25:18 with eagle wings representing Babylon which 25:21 range from 605 BC to 539. God is simply using a new 25:25 metaphor to speak to us about the same power 25:28 remarkably the very gate through which Daniel would 25:31 have walk to interpret that remarkable dream have been 25:33 excavated by archeologist and on the side of that great 25:36 Ishtar Gate,. There is remarkable animal on the 25:39 side of that gate. I will give you one guess as to 25:42 what animal is there on the side of that huge 25:44 Ishtar Gate through which Daniel would have walked 25:47 on the promenade. What animal do you think it is? 25:49 A lion and guess what else, has eagle wings you have 25:52 got it. The official symbol of Babylon and so to the, 25:56 the people to whom Daniel would have been writing 25:58 into you and I, it is crystal clear that a lion 26:00 with eagle wings represents the nation of antiquity 26:02 Babylon. Well, then it was stand a reason that the next 26:05 nation represented the chest, arms of silver 26:08 correspond again with the bear that was raised up on 26:11 one side and had three ribs in the mouth, the kingdom 26:13 of Meadow Persia which conquered Babylon in 539 and 26:17 ruined until 331 BC. In 331 BC on the filed of 26:21 Arbela, this kingdom was routed by Greece, 26:25 that's exactly right. We will go to our next slide, 26:28 Greece here represented by the belly and thighs of 26:30 bronze and also by this leopard four heads, 26:33 four wings of a fowl. Now, let's just talk quickly 26:36 about Greece, in Bible prophecy this symbolic 26:41 wings and lions and water they all have meaning. 26:45 And wings represent speed or rapidity. What do wings 26:49 represent? Speed, now note this very interesting here 26:54 the kingdom of Greece here is represented by this fast 26:57 moving leopard. A leopard and a cheetah are in the 26:59 same family, some of the very fastest land moving 27:03 animals and then you take four wings of fowl which 27:05 represent speed. You put it on the back of the 27:07 leopard and you have one very rapidly moving beast 27:11 amen, amen. Almost as fast as I move, amen, 27:14 amen. Now, remarkably Greece was actually began 27:20 it's conquest to conquer the then known world under the 27:24 directorship of man named Alexander the great, 27:27 that's exactly right. Now, Alexander the great died in 27:29 the drunken stopper at the age of approximately 31. 27:32 One historian Victor Hugo remarked that Alexander the 27:35 great could conquer the world, but not himself. 27:38 He began at the age 16 by the age of 30, he had 27:41 conquered the world, friends. Now, I would call 27:43 that rapid wouldn't you? Now, here's the remarkable 27:46 thing when Alexander the great died in a drunken 27:47 stopper at the age of approximately 31. There was 27:50 no one man who was savvy enough, who powerful 27:53 enough and charismatic enough to just step into 27:55 those great big shoes that he had left vacant and back 27:56 of us and so there was a division in the great 28:00 Macedonian Empire into four parts. How many parts? 28:03 Four, his four generals, Cassander, Lysimachus, 28:05 Ptolemy, Seleucus going north south, east and west. 28:08 Divided the Macedonian the Greek Empire into four 28:11 parts and God here communicates that to us by 28:14 showing us that the leopard has how many heads? 28:16 Four, four heads, so we have both elements. 28:18 The rapidity the speed with which he have conquered 28:20 and the division into four quadrants. So, far so good 28:23 yes or no, yeah. Now, conquered Greece it's very 28:26 elementary it was conquered by the iron monarchy of 28:30 Rome, the long legs of iron corresponding with the iron 28:33 teeth in the ferocious beast with the what kind of teeth? 28:36 Iron, iron teeth ruining from 198 BC almost 700 28:40 years into a 476 AD. When it was pulled the part and 28:44 divided by the, barbarian tribes from outside. 28:48 Now, here is the remarkable thing, there were how 28:50 many horns coming from out of that ferocious and 28:52 terrible beast, ten horns. How many toes coming out of 28:56 the statue, ten the correspondence is remarkable 29:01 are you with me yes or no, right. So, I want to this 29:03 point has been review, we have seen this four beast, 29:05 we seen the lion, the bear, the leopard, and ferocious 29:08 beast representing you say with me. What's the first? 29:10 Babylon, then Meadow Persia, Greece, Rome and 29:15 what he suppose to ten horns represent, very same 29:18 thing, in fact you are in Daniel chapter 7 stay right 29:21 there in Daniel chapter 7 and notice with me verse 24: 29:24 it says, The ten horns are ten, what's a next word, 29:29 kings who shall arise from this kingdom. Friends, 29:31 there is no need to be confused about Bible 29:34 prophecy, amen, amen. It's crystal clear, he says 29:37 water represents people and beast represent nations 29:40 and horns and this context represent what kings of 29:44 kingdom you've got it. Very easy to understand, so then 29:48 we have divided Rome and what we today would refer 29:50 to as divided Europe, existing from 476 A.D., 29:54 when the fall of the western Roman Empire was 29:57 complete until the modern times modernity 476 until 30:01 modernity and so here we have a, chronological 30:05 sequence a sweep of time in both the beasts and in that 30:10 great metal man moving down through the continuing 30:13 through the quarters of time beginning in Daniel's 30:15 day and coming right down to modernity. Are we on 30:18 the same page yes or no? Okay, great so far so good. 30:21 Now, what I would like to do is try to introduce you 30:23 to. Here is division the rough division of the 30:28 Western Roman Empire, you have the Anglo-Saxons of 30:30 course the English, this way about the Portuguese, 30:32 the Visigoths, Spanish Vandals of North Africa, 30:36 the Heruli out of the Italian peninsula and we 30:37 could go on. So, you have this division into roughly 30:39 ten barbarian tribes. Now, note with me back in Daniel 30:43 chapter 7: God has simply been reviewing, he has been 30:46 what everyone? Reviewing. Now, let me show you 30:49 something very quickly. If you got your finger there in 30:52 Daniel chapter 7, put another finger over 30:54 Revelation Chapter 13, very quickly. In fact I have 30:57 one of these little red ribbons here, to makes it so 30:59 easy just to go right there. Revelation chapter 13 31:03 and I want you to notice something remarkable in 31:04 verse 2. Revelation Chapter 13 and verse 2 John says: 31:08 Now, the beast which I saw was like a leopard, 31:11 and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his 31:14 mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave 31:17 him his power, throne and great authority. You notice 31:19 how verse 1 ends it says, he has ten horns. So, notice 31:23 the order that John moves in, ten horns, the body of a 31:27 leopard, the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion. 31:31 Now, let's think that through for just a moment 31:33 when Daniel had looked at these beasts. Because he 31:35 was looking forward into the future as a prophecy he 31:39 saw lion, bear, leopard, ferocious beast. Are you 31:45 with me yes or no? Yet did you notice the change in 31:48 the, whether John describes this beast. 31:50 When John describes the beast, he says he had horns, 31:54 body of a leopard, feet of a bear and the mouth of what? 31:58 Lion, he gives it to us in the exact opposite order. 32:02 Now, why might that be preciously friends because 32:05 when Daniel was looking forward into the future he 32:08 saw of course Babylon, Meadow Persia, Greece, 32:10 and Rome? But John was living during the time of 32:14 what? Rome and so when he was looking, he was not 32:17 looking forward friends, he wouldn't have look into the 32:19 future to see Babylon, he would have look into the 32:21 past. And as he would have look backwards, 32:23 he would have seen in chronological linear 32:26 sequence, he would have seen Rome, then Greece, 32:30 then Meadow of Persia, then Babylon amen. 32:34 Are you with me now? Yeah, so Daniel is looking 32:37 forward and John is looking backward. 32:40 Everything up to this point is very easy to understand 32:44 and in my estimation it remains reasonably easy. 32:47 Go with me to Daniel chapter 7 and we note now 32:49 some new information. That was not given to us in 32:52 Daniel chapter 2, the visions of the metal man 32:55 something new is here introduced. And let us know 32:58 this new information. We're beginning in verse 8, 33:03 Daniel says: "I was considering the horns, 33:06 I was considering the, what everyone? Horns, the horns, 33:08 now what are the horns represent, kings, kings of 33:10 kingdom, but which specific kings in kingdoms, no this 33:14 is right here that's right, the nations that what we 33:16 would called divided Rome or Divided Europe, 33:18 you with me yes or no? Yes so Daniel is essentially 33:21 saying, I consider the horns, I consider the what? 33:25 Horns! The horns that is the nations of Western Europe, 33:28 the Divided Roman Empire, and there was another 33:31 horn, how many horns are there now? Eleven, 33:34 eleven you have got it, a little one, coming up 33:36 among them, what kind of horn isn't? A little one, 33:39 it's a little one coming up how, among, among them 33:42 before whom three of the first horns were plucked out 33:43 by the roots. And then this horn, were eyes like 33:46 the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous 33:49 words. Now, let just read a little description here of 33:53 this character, let's turned down to verse 11. 33:56 "I watched then because of the sound of the pompous 33:59 words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the 34:01 beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given 34:02 to the burning flame." As for the rest of the beasts 34:05 they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives 34:07 were prolonged for a season and a time. Jump down to 34:10 verse 20: "and about the ten horns that were on its 34:13 head, and about the other horn which came up, 34:14 before which three fell, namely, that horn which had 34:16 eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, 34:19 whose appearance was greater than his fellows." 34:21 I was watching; and the same horn was making war 34:24 with the saints, and prevailing against them, 34:26 "until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was 34:28 made in favor of the saints. Jump down to verse 24: 34:31 The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from 34:33 this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; 34:35 he shall be different from the first ones, and he shall 34:37 subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words 34:40 against the Most High, shall persecute the saints 34:43 of the Most High, and shall intend to change 34:45 times and law. And the saints shall be given into 34:47 his hand for a time and times and half a time. 34:52 Now, we have just gone through here and looked at 34:53 those verses that describe this little horn, this little horn 34:57 sounds like a rascal doesn't he? Yeah, I mean he's an 35:00 absolutely rascal looked at the kinds of things that 35:02 he's doing in his career. He is making war with Gods 35:06 people; he's how many times are it say pompous words, 35:09 pompous words, pompous words, three if you're 35:10 counting. He makes war against God's people, 35:13 he speaks against God, and he changes God's laws. 35:16 He ruins over the saints for a significantly long 35:18 period of time, this guy roots up three horns when 35:20 he comes up. He is a real character, now do you know 35:24 who this little horn is? This little horn friends is 35:26 the Antichrist, this little horn that we have seen 35:29 describe here in Daniel chapter, this is the 35:32 Antichrist power. In fact if you make a careful 35:35 caparison between the little horn of Daniel chapter 7 35:38 and the Antichrist beast of Revelation chapter 13, 35:41 you have find these are one in the saint. Now, think 35:45 about that for just a moment with me, when John gave 35:48 us his description of the Antichrist beast. He showed 35:52 us that the beast was constituted of four beasts, 35:55 ten horns, feet of a bear, body of a leopard, and mouth 35:59 of a lion. Instantaneously any Bible student knows, 36:03 that he's getting all of that imagery, the totality 36:06 of that imagery from Daniel Chapter 7 and so 36:09 what's happening here is that, you haven inexorable 36:12 and embryonic, powerful link between Revelation 13 36:17 and Daniel Chapter 7, you cannot understand one 36:20 without the other, there are like a card house, 36:23 that lean just like this when you're kid, you would 36:24 put card like this and card like this. And they uphold 36:27 one and another and if you remove one what happens 36:29 to other, fall down. Do you understand the tie between 36:34 Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 yes or no? Yes, when John 36:38 gave that powerful description of that 36:41 amalgamation that's strange, weird looking 36:44 beast, he was not you know, out of this creative 36:46 imagination, no, no, no. God was showing him, 36:49 he was putting together, this amalgamation, this 36:52 strange beast from those four beasts, that Daniel had 36:56 seen hundreds of years before, attracting our 37:00 attention to the Antichrist and his career and his role 37:04 on this planet. Now, what we're going to do is, 37:07 as we're simply going to go through Daniel Chapter 7 37:09 and note many of the characteristics of this little 37:13 horn power. Because friends if we can identify 37:15 who this little horn power is, then we know for sure 37:18 who the Antichrist is! Are you with me yes or no? 37:21 Amen, so let's began to notes some of the 37:24 identifying characteristics of this Antichrist power. 37:26 Now, I am going to put a list appear on the screen, 37:29 there is a list of ten we will name one and then we 37:31 will talked about it just briefly. First of all it is a 37:35 little kingdom let's talk about that just briefly. 37:38 How can I be so sure that this power is a little 37:40 kingdom? Because there was a little horn, that's 37:43 exactly rights, let's note that in Daniel Chapter 7 37:46 and verse 8: "I was considering the horns, 37:48 remember I was thinking about the nations of Western 37:51 Europe and there was another horn, a little one, 37:54 of what kind of horn? Little, a little one, now our any 37:57 of the other horns describe has been little. So, why is 38:00 this horn described has being little. Because it was 38:03 little and because Daniel, John, rather Daniel rather 38:06 wanted to bring out that point that it was small, 38:10 a small horn. Now, if a horn represents a kingdom then 38:13 we are looking for what kind of a kingdom? Not huge 38:16 kingdom friends, but a small king or a kingdom. 38:19 Now, notice down number 2, it says that it comes up 38:22 among them. He comes up what everyone? Among, 38:26 among them, now why do I say that? Notice with me in 38:29 verse 8 again: "I was considering the horns, and 38:31 there was another horn, a little one, coming up what 38:33 are the next two words? Among then, among them, 38:37 now of course this little horn has to come up among 38:39 them because they're had to be asked them to come 38:41 among, you follow that. In the days of Babylon there 38:44 was no them yet. Because Rome wasn't divided, in the 38:46 days of Meadow Persia, there was no them yet and 38:49 in the days of Greece, there was no them yet. 38:50 Even in the days of, of Rome undivided there wasn't yet 38:54 of them. But an order for this horn to, to come up 38:56 among them of them had to exist namely the division of 39:00 Rome had to already take place, are you with me now, 39:02 yes or no? Yes, now very simple if I stand up here, 39:06 would that be saved to say that I am among the 39:09 congregation yes or no? No, no, no, but if I come down 39:12 here make all the people at 3ABN map. Would that be 39:14 true now, that I'm among the congregation? Yes, 39:17 is that true? Yes, so then when the, when it says that 39:20 this little power will come up how everyone? Among, 39:23 among them, then we're looking for a nation that will 39:26 come up among the nations of Divided Rome, are you 39:31 with me yes or no? Yes, so if, if some nation comes up. 39:35 That's in Tokyo right, this is the Antichrist, and can 39:38 it be? No, no, no, no, a nation will comes up in South 39:42 America is the Antichrist. A king that rises up in 39:47 Africa cannot be because it must come up what are two 39:50 words? Among them, among them, you have got it, 39:53 must come up among them. Now, it must come up 39:56 number 3 after them, now why do I say I must come up 40:00 after them. Hey, you have got it, they had to exist in 40:06 order for they would be and them to come up among 40:08 them, right? Right and when he comes up, we know 40:10 that exist because it say she roots up how many? 40:14 Three, three horns and notice that's number four 40:16 there! He plucks up three horns, when he comes on 40:20 the scene plucks up three horns, that is mention 40:22 numerous times in Daniel chapter 7, but let us know 40:24 just one there in verse 8 it says: before whom three 40:28 of the first horns were plucked up, how everyone? 40:32 By the roots, now if you pluck up something by the 40:34 roots, what is the Bible try to communicate here, 40:37 that they never came back again, you follow me? 40:41 Any God will never tell that if you just snip the 40:43 top of wheat of, it will just go grow right back, 40:46 right? But if you pull it by the roots, that thing 40:49 theoretically is gone. Amen. Seem to comeback in my 40:52 God know, number 5. Number 5 this power would 40:56 be diverse or it would be difference something about 40:59 it would set it apart. Notice in verse 24 Daniel 41:03 Chapter 7, Daniel chapter 7, I am reading in verse 24: 41:06 The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this 41:09 kingdom. And another shall rise after them, 41:11 there it is, after them; he shall be, what's the next 41:14 word? Different or diverse from the first ones, 41:19 so will there be something about this horn that sets 41:21 apart from the others yes or no? Yes, yeah we don't 41:23 know what it is yet. But in, in substantive ways, 41:27 some substantive way he will be different or 41:29 diverse. Number 6, this horn will have prominent 41:34 man at his head, that's speaks for it and has eyes 41:37 that see for it, namely that guide it. Let's notice 41:41 that also in Daniel Chapter 7. Daniel chapter 7 and 41:45 notice with me in verse 11: "I watched then because of 41:50 the sound of the pompous what? Words which the horn 41:54 was speaking; now if the horn is speaking what is it 41:57 have, it has a mouth. Notice verse 8: And there 42:00 was, in this horn, last part of verse 8, there was in 42:03 this horn, eyes like the eyes of a man, and again 42:07 a mouth speaking pompous words. So there would be 42:09 some prominent figure that would see for the horn. 42:12 None of the horns was describe his having eyes, 42:15 none of the other horns is, are describe his having 42:16 a mouth so some prominent figure had who sees, 42:20 who guides, who directs, who lives, and who speaks 42:24 on behalf of this little kingdom so far so good 42:27 yes or no? Amen, so will be coming together isn't it? 42:29 Now number seven this horn blasphemes, this thorn 42:33 what everyone? And we did see that in there yes or no? 42:36 Pompous words, pompous words, pompous words. 42:39 Now, the Bible actually gives several definitions of 42:41 blasphemies and let me give you just three of them very 42:44 quickly in March Chapter 2 and verse 7, we find this 42:47 remarkable passages of scripture, the Pharisees 42:50 speaking of Jesus said why does this man thus speak 42:52 blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only? 42:56 Remember Jesus would say to the man who would be 42:59 lower to roof, he said son be have good cheer thy sins 43:01 be forgiven thee and they protested who does this guy 43:04 thing he is forgiving sins. Jesus then said which is 43:07 easier to say to man, thy sins be forgiven thee or 43:09 rise take up that better walk but still that you may 43:11 know the son of man have power not forgive sins, 43:13 he saith if under seek of the pulsing rise, take up 43:15 thy bed, and walk. Was it fair for Jesus to say your 43:19 sins to forgiven to that man yes or no? Amen, why? 43:23 Because he was God's son, so was he blasphemy, now I 43:26 will be thought it was blasphemy. Notice now number 43:28 2 from John Chapter 10 and verse 33: The Jews 43:30 answered him, Jesus saying for a good work we stone 43:33 thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, 43:36 being a man, makest thyself what God. So, the 43:39 first biblical definition of blasphemy is to claim to be 43:42 able to forgive what everyone? Sins, sins 43:45 according to this definition blasphemy as if you claim 43:48 to be God. Are we together yes or no? Amen, 43:52 now notice the third definition of blasphemy 43:54 from 1 timothy chapter 1 and verse 13 Paul says: 43:57 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled 44:01 me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into 44:04 the ministry; notice this: Who was before a blasphemer 44:08 of what everyone? Blasphemer, a blasphemer 44:10 and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained 44:14 mercy, because I did it ignorantly and in unbelief. 44:18 Now, notice what Paul is saying here, he says I use 44:20 to be blasphemer, I used to be of what? Blasphemer, 44:24 what made him a blasphemer, that he was persecutor of 44:28 the Church and here's we are. Paul was persecutor of 44:33 the people of God in the name of God, you follow 44:37 that, isn't that exactly what Paul is doing he was 44:40 confident that he was doing the work of God when 44:43 he was on his way to Damascus, to take Christians 44:46 through them in jail or in some cases have them 44:49 killed, are you with me? Yes, so it wasn't just the 44:53 persecution how it did that right? The Roman emperor 44:56 did that, but what made Paul blasphemer in this 44:59 context, was that he persecuted the people of God 45:02 in the name of God, amen. So, we have in this three 45:06 definition of blasphemy, number one to claim to be 45:08 able to get forgive sins, number two to claim to be 45:11 God on earth and number three to persecute the 45:12 people of God in the name of God, everybody together 45:16 yes or no? Amen! So, then the Bible says this power 45:19 would be a blaspheme from his power, number 8 it says 45:21 we would be a persecuting power, a persecuting power. 45:25 Note that with me there in Daniel Chapter 7 and I'm 45:28 noticing in verse 21: "I was watching; and the same 45:31 horn was making war against the saints, making 45:34 war with the who everyone saint. Who are the saints? 45:39 Who are the saints, well we're who said that? 45:42 That's exactly right where you near to it we're the 45:44 people of God that's right. I notice in verse 25: it says: 45:47 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 45:50 and shall what's the next word? Persecute where out 45:54 the saints of the Most High, so with this little horn be 45:56 a persecuting power yes or no? Yes, so there it is 45:59 number 8. Number 9 it says that he will change the very 46:02 law and times of God, verse 25 of Daniel chapter 7: 46:07 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, 46:09 shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall 46:12 intend to change times and what's the next word? 46:16 Law, law, now notice it doesn't say that he actually 46:19 does change in my version says, he intense to change 46:23 if you're reading from King James it says: He shall 46:24 think to change. Now, let's think about that for just 46:27 a moment, is it possible to change the very law of God? 46:32 No, no, no absolutely not the Bible says: 46:34 In Malachi chapter 3 and verse 6: I'm the Lord, 46:37 I changeth not, I change what? Not, not, 46:40 Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 8: Jesus Christ is the 46:42 same yesterday and today, yea and forever. 46:46 So, God does not, yeah cannot change, yeah this 46:49 power in his pomposity and it's temerity, would actually 46:53 suggest that it could change the very holy times 46:56 and holy law of God himself now that friends is 46:59 blasphemy, amen. And then last but not least 47:02 number ten, this power would rule for 1260 years, 47:06 we learned that just yesterday by the way when 47:07 we saw that encounter fit of Jesus. Jesus ministry was 47:11 three and half years and this power would rain for 42 47:14 months or for? Three and half prophetic years, 47:18 prophetic years, now the reason I use that word I 47:20 interject that word there, three and half prophetic 47:22 years. Is that time in end time Bible prophecy is 47:26 symbolic just like beast are symbolic and water is 47:30 symbolic and horns are symbolic and women are 47:33 symbolic. In other words the women is a church, 47:35 the beast is a nation, a horn is kingdom, water 47:37 is people and time is also symbolic. In fact that we 47:42 find and I wish we had time to go through out king in 47:44 the scripture and demonstrate with there are 47:45 numerous places. That in end time Bible prophecy, 47:48 a prophetic day, of what two words then I say, 47:53 prophetic day, prophetic day represents a literally year. 47:56 A prophetic day represents so what, literal year, 47:59 that's why we say three and half prophetic years, 48:02 okay. Three and half prophetic years is actually 48:05 a much longer period of time 1260 days and just a 48:08 quick not on that. That time frame 1260 days also refer 48:14 to as the 42 months, so over here in Daniel chapter 48:16 7 is the time, time and half a time. Does anybody know 48:19 how many times that time period comes up in the 48:23 Bible? Seven times, now Jesus says something once, 48:29 you think you better understand it? Yeah amen, 48:31 if he say something twice what do you think he's 48:32 trying to communicate, right reputation, deep as 48:35 impression, but friends this time period comes up, 48:37 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, times two times in Daniel, 48:41 five times in Revelation. So, this power would rain 48:45 for a significantly long period of time 1260 years 48:50 friends. So, if we put all ten of this identifying 48:53 characteristic number one, its little kingdom that 48:55 comes up among the nations of Western Europe, 48:57 the divided nations. It must come up after them, 48:59 because there was of them to come up among as it came 49:01 up it, plucked up three other of these horns. 49:05 It was diverse or different and some substantive way, 49:08 it had a significant man at head that spoke for it, 49:10 it was the blasphemes from his power, remember 49:12 the tree tear definition of blasphemy forgive sins, 49:14 be God on earth and persecute the people of God 49:16 in the name of God. Number it is a persecuting power 49:19 and number 9 it would change thing to change and tend 49:21 to change. There were times and laws of God and 49:23 number 10 it would Rule for 1260 prophetic days 49:28 literal years. Now, friends if you put all ten of this 49:31 characteristic together, there is only one kingdom, 49:34 one power, one entity in the history of humanity that 49:38 means all of these different identifying characteristics. 49:41 Are you with me now yes or no? now, friends if we 49:43 put all these together it becomes very clear to see, 49:46 the only power that means all of these identifying 49:49 characteristics or others power that means some but 49:51 the only power that means all of them is The Roman 49:55 Church State who did I say it was?
