00:17 Hello and welcome again to Praise. I'm Kelley Mowrer
00:21 You know a story is told about a dark and stormy night and a
00:25 little child lost in the streets of a large city.
00:28 A policeman found him crying and he gathered enough from his
00:32 story to figure out where he lived. So he gave him directions
00:35 and he said something like well just go down this street half
00:38 a mile, turn and cross the big iron bridge and then turn to
00:40 your right and follow the river a little way and you'll
00:43 see where you are. And the poor little kid only half
00:47 understanding and cold and scared from the storm turned
00:50 about sort of blindly and then another voice spoke in a kindly
00:54 tone and said just come with me. So that little hand was held in
00:58 a stronger hand and a corner of a warm coat was thrown over the
01:02 shoulders of that shivering little child and the way home
01:06 was made easy. The first man had told the way but the second
01:11 man became the way. This is exactly what the Lord Jesus
01:15 Christ did for us. Remember when Thomas asked him, Lord we don't
01:19 even know where you're going so how can we know the way?
01:23 Jesus answered, I am the way. Jesus is our way. He leads us
01:27 into truth. He is the light shining in our darkness, he is
01:31 our only hope now and always Our redeemer.

03:33 Who Am I being sung by Darrell Marshall.
03:48 When I think of how he came
03:53 far from glory.
03:59 He came and dwelt
04:05 among the lowly such as I.
04:15 to suffer shame
04:18 and such disgrace
04:22 on Mt. Calvary take my place
04:28 Then I ask myself this question
04:35 Who am I?
04:43 Who am I that a king
04:49 would live and die for?
04:56 Who am I that He would pray
05:03 not my will but Thine for?
05:09 The answer I may never know
05:17 why He ever loved me so
05:23 that to an old rugged cross
05:30 He would go for who am I.
05:36 interlude
05:40 I'm reminded of these precious words
05:45 Jesus said, I'll leave thee never
05:49 if you'll be true
05:54 I'll give to you
06:00 a life forever.
06:04 I don't know what
06:08 I could have done
06:13 to deserve God's only Son
06:19 to fight my battles
06:23 till they're won,
06:27 for who am I?
06:32 Oh who am I
06:38 that a king would bleed
06:40 and die for?
06:45 Who am I that He would pray
06:52 not my will but Thine for.
06:59 The answer I may never know
07:07 why He ever loved me so
07:13 that to an old rugged cross
07:19 He would go,
07:23 to an old rugged cross
07:26 He would go,
07:28 to an old rugged cross
07:34 He would go,
07:38 for who am I
07:48 who am I?
07:58 Introduction to Jennifer La Mountain
08:24 singing You Thought of Us.
08:45 Look on Judas face,
08:50 the torches set ablaze,
08:56 the weapons drawn and raised,
08:59 the chill of night,
09:02 the friends who fled in fear,
09:07 the sound of Peter's tears,
09:12 the way the people cheered,
09:17 Crucify.
09:22 A nightmare coming true before your eyes.
09:28 What was it that was going through your mind?
09:35 You thought of us,
09:41 every one of us,
09:48 and all your love for us
09:51 caused you to stay.
09:55 You could have spared your life
10:00 and still had Paradise.
10:03 But even when the pain
10:06 we put you through
10:10 became too much,
10:16 You thought of us.
10:21 Interlude.
10:31 The hands that stripped you bare
10:34 the eyes that mocked and stared,
10:37 the laughter everywhere,
10:41 each stripe they made,
10:45 the needles running red,
10:49 the nails, the fight for breath,
10:53 the gaping door of death,
10:57 the awful taste,
11:01 you raged against the silence,
11:04 in the sky.
11:09 But when you asked for God
11:12 to tell you why,
11:18 You thought of us,
11:23 every one of us
11:27 and all your love for us
11:30 caused you to stay.
11:34 You could have spared your life,
11:38 and still had Paradise.
11:42 but even when the pain we put you through,
11:46 became too much
11:50 You thought of us.
11:54 And on that Sunday bright
11:57 so full of love and life
12:01 with angles left and right
12:05 to take you home, but first
12:09 you had to find someone
12:12 to share the joy in you
12:15 and who on earth
12:18 should be the first
12:23 to hear the news?
12:29 You thought of us.
12:35 And all your love for us
12:39 caused you to stay
12:43 we were the very ones
12:47 who turned away your love
12:51 but even when the pain we put you through
12:55 became too much
13:02 You thought of us.
13:30 The prophet Isaiah wrote, All we like sheep, that's me, that's
13:35 you, all of us, have gone astray we've wandered each one of us
13:40 into our own way and God laid on Christ the sin of us all.
13:45 He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised
13:49 for our iniquities and the chastisement that would bring
13:54 us peace was on him and with his stripes we are healed.

16:46 Jennifer La Mountain singing The Wondrous Cross
17:07 When I survey
17:10 the wondrous cross
17:15 on which the prince
17:19 of glory died.
17:23 My richest gain
17:27 I count but loss
17:31 and pour contempt
17:37 on all my pride.
17:42 See from his head
17:47 his hands, his feet,
17:51 sorrow and love
17:56 flow mingled down
18:00 Did e'er such love
18:04 and sorrow meet
18:08 or thorns compose
18:14 so rich a crown.
18:19 Oh the wonderful cross
18:30 bids me come and dine
18:32 and find that I may truly live.
18:35 Oh the wonderful cross
18:41 all who gather here
18:46 by grace drawn in
18:50 and bless you name.
18:55 We're the whole realm
18:59 of nature mine,
19:03 that were an offering
19:08 far too small;
19:13 Love so amazing, so divine,
19:20 Demands my life, my soul, my all
19:31 Oh the wonderful cross,
19:40 bids me come and dine
19:42 and find that I may truly live.
19:47 Oh the wonderful cross,
19:53 all who gather here
19:57 by faith drawn in
20:00 may bless your name
20:05 Love so amazing
20:11 so divine
20:16 demands my soul,
20:25 my life, my all.
20:34 Remember the verse in Isaiah that I said just before Reggie
20:38 played that the punishment that Jesus suffered was so that we
20:41 would have peace, so that we would be healed. What is in your
20:45 life today that you desperately want him to heal? We all have
20:48 the stuff, stuff we've been carrying around for so long
20:52 we're just plain tired of it. He's waiting right now to do
20:55 something in your life and something in my life, something
20:59 healing that we can't even imagine. Talk to him in your
21:03 heart as you listen now to Diane singing How Long Has it
21:07 Been since you talked to the Lord? Can you call him your
21:10 friend? How long has it been since you knew that he cared
21:14 for you?
21:17 Diane Anders How Long Has it Been?
21:26 How long has it been
21:30 since you talked with the Lord
21:36 and told him your
21:39 hearts hidden secrets?
21:44 How long since you prayed,
21:50 how long since you stayed
21:55 on your knees
21:58 till the light shone through?
22:05 How long has it been
22:09 since your mind felt at ease?
22:15 How long since your heart knew no burden?
22:23 Can you call him your friend?
22:30 How long has it been
22:34 since you knew
22:37 that he cared for you?
22:45 Interlude.
22:55 How long has it been
22:59 since you knelt by your bed
23:05 and prayed to the Lord
23:08 up in heaven?
23:14 How long since you knew
23:19 that he'd answer you
23:23 and would keep you
23:27 the whole night through?
23:33 How long has it been
23:38 since you woke with the dawn
23:44 and felt that the day's
23:48 worth the living?
23:53 Can you call him your friend?
23:58 How long has it been
24:04 since you knew
24:06 that he cares for you?
24:14 Can you call him your friend?
24:17 How long has it been
24:23 since you knew
24:26 that he cares for you?
24:32 Do you know that he
24:38 cares for you?
24:54 John Lomacang/What a Friend We Have in Jesus
25:05 What a friend we have in Jesus
25:14 all our sins and grief's to bear.
25:23 What a privilege to carry
25:33 everything to God in prayer.
25:43 Oh what peace we often forfeit,
25:53 and oh what needless
25:57 pain we bear.
26:01 It's all because we do not carry
26:15 everything to God in prayer.
26:25 Are we weak and heavy laden?
26:35 Are we cumbered
26:39 with a load of care?
26:47 Precious Savior
26:52 still my refuge.
26:57 Take it to the Lord in prayer.
27:06 Do thy friends despise,
27:10 forsake thee?
27:15 Oh take it to the Lord in prayer
27:22 In his arms he'll take
27:31 and shield thee.
27:38 Thou wilt find a solace there.
27:52 Take it to the Lord in prayer.
