00:20 Hello and welcome to 'Praise.' I'm Kelly Mowrer.
00:24 I think one of the stories of Jesus' life on earth 00:27 that touches me the most is the story 00:29 when He was attending the great feast in Jerusalem 00:32 and I can picture Him seated at a table, 00:34 surrounded by people and He knows 00:37 all the deep longings in their heart, 00:39 all their loneliness, all their secret shame, 00:42 all their emptiness, all their dreams and hopes. 00:45 He knows how they 00:46 are secretly desperately longing 00:48 for peace and fulfillment. 00:50 And the Bible says, He suddenly stands 00:52 and cries aloud, "If any man thirsts 00:55 let him come to me and drink." 00:58 Talking about a moment 01:00 that must have caught everyone's attention. 01:01 This guest rising to his feet and crying out 01:04 this incredible invitation, are you thirsty, 01:07 are you longing for something, 01:09 are you aching for satisfaction, 01:11 come to me I have everything you long for. 01:13 Drink and live, Isaiah says it so beautifully too. 01:18 Come everyone who is thirsty, 01:21 come to the waters and in the closing words 01:23 of the Biblem Revelation 21:6, and He said 01:27 unto me it is done, I'm alpha and omega, 01:30 the beginning and the end. 01:32 I will give unto Him that is at thirst 01:35 of the fountain of the water 01:37 of life freely. 01:40 I thirsted in a barren land of sin and shame 01:45 Nothing satisfying there I found 01:49 But to the blessed cross of Christ one day I came 01:53 Where springs of living water did abound 01:57 Drinking at the springs of living water 02:02 Happy now am I my soul is satisfied 02:06 I'm drinking at the springs of living water 02:10 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 02:16 O sinner won't you come today to Calvary 02:20 A fountain there is flowing deep and wide 02:25 The Savior now invites you to the water free 02:29 Where thirsting spirits can be satisfied 02:33 Drinking at the springs of living water 02:38 Happy now am I my soul is satisfied 02:42 I'm drinking at the springs of living water 02:46 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 02:50 Drinking at the springs of living water 02:55 Happy now am I my soul is satisfied 02:59 I'm drinking at the springs of living water 03:03 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 03:07 Drinking at the springs of living water 03:11 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 03:16 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 03:20 What a wonderful and bountiful supply 03:40 I have found a grace to save me 03:47 In a vain and simple truth 03:55 I have made the sweetest journey 04:02 To the innocence of You 04:12 A place of what I never seek 04:17 And it was really overwhelming 04:25 When the mountain seem too tall 04:29 How we seem like nothing more 04:33 Compare to the wonder of it all 04:44 There is a truth that's so amazing 04:51 It has turned my heart around 04:59 There is a peace that gives me comfort 05:06 When my head is hanging down 05:16 When the tiny thread of faith is nearly gone 05:23 Oh, it's always overwhelming 05:29 When the mountain seem to tall 05:33 And they seem like nothing then 05:36 Compare to the wonder of it all 05:44 Mysteries of God I'll never understand 05:51 The way this love can fill into soul 05:59 And just to think I'm living in the palm of His hand 06:06 It's all my doubt and heart we need to know 06:32 When I lay down in the evening 06:39 And I close my eyes to rest 06:47 I can wake up in the morning 06:55 Knowing I've had His best 07:04 'Cause I know my worth of love around is deep 07:12 And I can't tell every man 07:17 How that every time I fall 07:21 He puts me up and I am safely 07:25 Held by the one who love it all 07:37 Held by the one who love it all. 08:00 When the Holy Spirit opens our heart 08:02 to the wonder of God's redeeming love. 08:05 When our sole is full of the beauty of the Lord 08:07 when every longing and secret thirst 08:10 is fully satisfied in Him, 08:12 then our joy and praise just simply overflows 08:15 from the wonder of His abundant mercy, 08:17 love and grace. 08:19 Through out the Book of the Psalms David speaks 08:21 of his praise and rejoicing in God over and over. 08:24 He writes my heart greatly rejoiceth, 08:26 and with my song I will praise Him. 08:28 Bless the Lord O my soul 08:30 and all that is within me bless His holy name. 08:32 I will yet praise thee more and more. 08:35 I will praise the Lord with my whole heart 08:37 from the rising of the Sun unto the going down 08:39 of the same the Lord's name is to be praised. 08:44 The word hallelujah is of Hebrew origin 08:46 and is loud and adoring 08:48 exclamation of praise to Jehovah. 08:51 Listen to this next song as Jack Crosby 08:53 and Donna Shurley sing of the praise 08:55 All my life long I had panted 09:06 For a drink, from some clear spring 09:11 That I hoped would quench the burning 09:17 Of the thirst I felt within 09:22 Hallelujah!
