00:26 Hello and welcome to Pillars of Faith.
00:29 I'm C A Murray 00:30 and I rejoice in the opportunity 00:31 to welcome you to this fourth sitting 00:35 as we have been listening to the powerful messages 00:38 as preached by Pastor Kenny Shelton, 00:41 he of Behold the Lamb Ministries. 00:43 And we're so thankful that God has enabled him 00:46 to come to be with us to preach the Word. 00:49 The first message was 00:50 "Holiness is not just a feeling," 00:53 "Filled with the Spirit" was the second message, 00:57 "Shake off the dust" was the third message 01:00 and this message is entitled 01:02 "God will visit this planet again." 01:05 And as we muse on those words, 01:08 it is so wonderful to know the truth 01:11 that God will indeed visit this planet yet again. 01:15 This time for a very specific purpose 01:19 that Pastor Kenny will tell us about this day. 01:22 We asked you to pray for him as he preaches 01:24 and listen to him as he preaches 01:26 so that the Word of God 01:27 will sink itself deep into your heart 01:29 and you will be emboldened and strengthened 01:32 to take one more step along that road 01:35 that leads to glory. 01:37 We are thankful for the Word for it gives us strength, 01:40 it gives us courage and encouragement. 01:43 And I'm sure as we listen 01:45 to "God will visit this planet again," 01:48 we will be refreshed and renewed 01:51 and given an understanding once again 01:53 that soon and very soon 01:55 we are in for a very special visit 01:59 by a very special visitor 02:02 and I do mean "Visitor" with a capital V, 02:05 one who's coming not only to stay 02:07 but to take us home with Him. 02:11 So we're looking forward to the Word of God 02:12 as preached by Pastor Kenny Shelton 02:14 this very day. 02:15 Going to ask you now to join me in a word of prayer 02:18 and then we will hear from the man of God 02:21 in this "Pillars of faith" series. 02:23 A Word for today in today's world. 02:26 Shall we pray? 02:27 Father God, we ask you now to attend us. 02:32 Be the honored guest and may what has been said 02:36 about your Word be true again 02:38 and that is that it will not go out and return void 02:42 but that it will do the work unto which it is sent 02:46 and accomplish the means intended for it. 02:50 Bless us now, Father, as we sit and listen 02:53 and in a very special way bless Pastor Kenny Shelton 02:57 as he lifts up your Word and your name 03:01 and tells us of those things 03:03 which are soon to come upon this earth. 03:06 Fill us with your spirit, be our honored guest, 03:09 accept us, we do pray this day and we thank you Father 03:12 for your promise to hear 03:14 and to answer the prayer of faith, 03:16 in Jesus name, Amen and amen. 03:21 And now Pastor Kenny Shelton. 03:25 Thank you, Pastor, I appreciate it. 03:27 Thank you. 03:31 Praise the Lord. 03:32 We're once again glad you could join us 03:34 for Pillars of faith. 03:35 I think it's a grand beautiful opportunity to be able to, 03:39 in this hour in which we live to lift our voices for Jesus. 03:43 I do believe we live in that hour. 03:45 I'm thankful for the prayer that was prayed. 03:48 I'm thankful for each of you 03:49 who're praying around the world 03:51 that this message can find a lodging in many hearts 03:54 and many lives to be prepared for the coming of Jesus. 03:58 Just before we have a prayer, 04:00 you notice what was said that, that God's... 04:02 He's gonna visit, right? 04:03 Gonna visit this planet again, what does that really mean? 04:06 That was not really a sermon on the second coming. 04:10 But to be encouraged why He's coming back? 04:13 He's coming back to take us home. 04:15 But before He comes back to take us home, 04:17 there's a lot of preparation. 04:20 I know the world doesn't teach that, 04:21 most churches don't teach it 04:22 but, you know, I find in the Word of God, 04:25 God teaches it, to be prepared for His coming, 04:27 in such an hour as you think, now the Son of Man cometh. 04:30 We don't wanna be fooled. 04:32 Once again I'm going to kneel and have a prayer 04:34 and I invite you to pray with me. 04:37 It's not because that the prayer before was not, 04:40 I would call it a good, blessed prayer. 04:42 It's because I feel and need in my own heart, 04:44 in my own soul to ask God's blessing once again. 04:48 I need His spirit. 04:49 I pray that you feel you need His spirit too. 04:51 So let's pray about that right now, 04:53 as He sends it upon us. 04:54 Shall we? 04:57 Once again, Heavenly Father, 04:58 we thank you for this privilege of prayer, 05:01 that something about prayer 05:03 I know by faith it moves the arm of God. 05:06 I promise as I've heard in that previous prayer that, 05:09 you know, we realize that you're coming soon, 05:12 that we'd need to be ready, we need to be living by faith 05:17 and your Word would not return void. 05:19 So I pray that your Holy Spirit now will consume 05:21 each and every one of us. 05:24 There may be those who need to be tuning in 05:26 and be watching and listening but something is come up, 05:29 there are somebody's, say 05:30 well, we need you here, we need you do this or that 05:32 but I pray that the Holy Spirit 05:34 would just compel each one to stop 05:36 and take a few moments. 05:37 Spend in the Word. 05:39 Open their hearts. Open their minds. 05:40 Let all preconceived ideas, thoughts, teachings, 05:44 just lay them down 05:45 and let God speak through the Holy Spirit. 05:47 Thank you for hearing. 05:48 Thank you for answering prayer. Praise you. 05:50 Anoint my mind and my heart that I may speak those words 05:54 that'll be pleasing in thy sight 05:55 that heaven can pronounce that it's good. 05:58 And I realize of myself I have nothing which good, 06:00 which to give but through the power of thy Holy Spirit, 06:02 conviction will come and preparation will be made 06:05 and I thank you in Jesus name. 06:07 Amen. 06:10 Always feel good after prayer. How about you? 06:13 Feel good because in faith 06:14 believing that God will honor the prayer of faith 06:17 and so I honestly believe that. 06:19 I'm thankful again, the promise that Jesus said, 06:21 "I'm going to come again." 06:24 And everything that's going on in the world today tells me 06:28 that He's coming. 06:30 Signs are every where. 06:32 It's clear, let's make this point, 06:34 it's clear that the judgments of God are falling in the land. 06:39 We're falling all over the place 06:41 and there must be a reason for that, 06:43 what is God trying get our attention, 06:44 is He getting our attention or... 06:46 What's going on with things that are happening? 06:48 God's warning this world. 06:50 He's warning us through these judgments 06:52 that are happening. 06:54 He says, "I'm going to visit the planet again." 06:58 Floods and fire and pestilence or say, 07:01 earthquakes and war and blood shed, 07:04 unhappiness on every hand, labor, battles, unrest, 07:08 nation ready to rise against nations. 07:11 What the Bible says, 07:13 it tells us that Jesus is coming. 07:16 Surely those who are just, open their eyes, 07:19 read the Word of God, 07:20 just look around of what's happening in the world today 07:22 said, this is not like it used to be five years ago, 07:25 10, 20, 30, 07:27 things are changing tremendously. 07:30 We've never seen things happen like this before. 07:33 The world is at unrest. 07:36 Men are warring against each other. 07:39 Things are happening that tell us something big 07:42 is on the horizon. 07:45 I can't help but think about Jesus 07:51 when the destruction of Jerusalem 07:52 was just very near, 07:54 talks about He over looked Jerusalem and He wept. 07:58 As a young person even now 08:00 that touches my heart. 08:01 He looked over that city 08:02 which He came to give the message, 08:05 to bring them to Him, 08:07 to get away from all the traditions of men 08:09 and all of the thinking of men and all of the wrong 08:11 and untruth to bring light to them 08:13 and they rejected and there said, 08:15 Jesus weeping. 08:18 The King of the universe weeping. 08:22 Soon I came to my own, my own receiveth me not 08:26 and I can say this, my brothers and sisters, 08:28 plan on that today. 08:30 If you are really a child of God 08:32 and you're doing what God would have to you to do, 08:35 most likely you're going to be rejected by the majority 08:39 and by your family and your friends, 08:42 they'll think you're not bold, they'll think you're strange. 08:46 Just expect it that by the Grace of God, 08:49 you shake the dust that we talked about last time 08:51 and we move on. 08:53 There's a lot to be accomplished 08:55 before Jesus come. 08:56 He's going to use you. He wants to use me. 08:57 But I think about in weeping over Jerusalem, 09:00 in Luke 19:44, a little statement Jesus makes here, 09:04 He says, "Because thou knowest not the time of visited." 09:07 Because you didn't know, 09:11 because you never bothered to study, 09:12 you never bother to find out what was going on. 09:16 He said that word, their visitation. 09:18 Listen carefully church, it means inspection. 09:23 You could have known when I'm coming, 09:24 careful to inspect. 09:28 Remember you're reading the Bible many times 09:30 that the angels came down to look, 09:33 to see what was going on, they visit before destruction. 09:36 Came Jesus said, "You should've known, 09:39 you should've known the time." 09:41 But you didn't. Is it that way today? 09:43 I believe that it is. 09:46 We need to remember these judgments 09:49 are a wake-up call. 09:50 I'll make a little statement here, 09:52 it may challenge some of you 09:53 and I hope that you've been studying for yourself. 09:55 That these judgments we say are a wake-up call for those, 09:59 listen carefully, who have no opportunity 10:02 to have learned what truth is. 10:04 Interesting, did you get that? 10:06 They've had no opportunity to learn what truth is. 10:12 God is merciful. We're all in agreement. 10:14 I'm sure church with that, God is merciful. 10:16 He's long suffering 10:17 and He's reaching out one more time 10:19 to warn the world, the people of this world 10:21 that He's coming back. 10:23 But notice while He's reaching out, 10:25 church, one more time 10:27 to get those who've not had the opportunities 10:29 and privileges that you had and I've had. 10:34 The door of probation closes for those who would not enter. 10:40 Probation closes, 10:42 seems scripture indicates for one group 10:46 before it closes for another 10:47 because you've had ample opportunity 10:49 and privileges. 10:52 You don't want that door to close. 10:53 You want to make sure that you're right with God. 10:58 It's very evident, at least to me in my study 11:00 that probation closes 11:02 for those who have an opportunity to come in, 11:04 to go in before others whom have not heard. 11:07 Did that make sense? 11:09 They've heard, you've heard it through angel's message. 11:12 You've been studying righteousness by faith. 11:15 You've been studying this most precious message. 11:19 Part of that third angel's message, 11:21 is it not? 11:24 That if we had accepted it, many years ago, 11:26 He would've already come. 11:28 That's a shocker to many. 11:31 We cannot reject the truths that God has for us. 11:34 And still be His people. Righteous by faith. 11:37 The Glory of God. Precious message. 11:41 It's sounding again, 11:43 God's gonna give another opportunity. 11:46 But I will say you this, many, many people 11:48 who believe and say, "I believe in present truth." 11:52 You know if anyone that talks 11:53 about present truth a lot, I do, I do, I believe in it. 11:55 There's a message, 11:56 God has specific message for every generation. 11:59 You've heard this many times. It's true. 12:02 For the time in which we all live, 12:04 God has a special message 12:05 always that is testing to the people of the world 12:08 to test to see if they really love Him or not. 12:15 Remember the ten virgins, 12:16 everybody said they're ready, 12:18 everybody's ready to go but what happened? 12:20 Five of them didn't have the oil. 12:22 Did they have the Holy Spirit? 12:23 They were just in looks. Their profession. 12:29 Many, who'd say, oh, present truth I believe in, 12:32 they're gonna fail because they do not understand 12:35 about the early rain and the latter rain 12:38 and what it is to accomplish. 12:40 The latter rain, what is it going to accomplish for us? 12:43 And since they don't understand it, 12:45 notice it, they fail to prepare. 12:49 If we don't understand the purpose, 12:52 we will fail in preparing for the coming of Jesus. 12:56 In our previous lesson, 12:59 we learned or talked may be just a little bit on it, 13:02 lot of more information, couldn't give everything 13:04 but I know you've been studying and we need to study. 13:07 We learned that the work of the Holy Spirit 13:10 is represented by what? 13:11 The early rain and the latter rain. 13:14 Praise God. 13:16 It's vital I believe to all Christians. 13:19 This subject is vital to all Christian, 13:22 we say individual, it's vital to the church. 13:26 Church is not above and beyond. 13:27 We need this outpouring of the Spirit of God. 13:30 Quickly let's just dissect just a little bit 13:32 for those who do not, let's have patience, 13:34 shall we church? 13:36 You say, "Well, we heard that before. 13:37 We heard it before." 13:39 There's many millions who have not. 13:40 They do not understand it. 13:42 And you say you've heard of it, do you understand it? 13:43 If you understand it, 13:45 are you living it by the grace of God. 13:46 Then, oh, you've doneth not, you've just been listening. 13:49 Has it changed you? 13:50 If it doesn't change you, you haven't heard it. 13:54 The early rain fell on the early Christians 13:56 or that we call New Testament church 13:58 on the day of Pentecost. 13:59 Praise God. 14:01 Man, what a time to be alive? 14:02 Wouldn't that be awesome to be there 14:04 and to participate in that? 14:07 Oh, yes, oh, I want to be, I want to be there. 14:09 I want to see what... 14:10 Oh, you can't be and even in greater abundance 14:12 here in these last days, 14:14 God says He's going to pour out that Spirit. 14:16 But that early rain, 14:18 it continued to fall even after Pentecost 14:21 if you understand this subject. 14:24 It's falling all through the history of this world 14:27 and it falls until probation closes, 14:30 isn't that interesting? 14:32 And then the latter falls at the end of time. 14:34 We're at the time of the harvest. 14:37 Wow! 14:39 So the latter rain, 14:40 now what does it do with the church? 14:43 See the Holy Spirit, 14:44 I believe now is being poured out on the remnant church. 14:49 The remnant church, 14:50 God's pouring something special upon this church 14:53 and it's going to be in great abundance 14:55 but it is at the close of His work. 14:58 I believe that we're nearing, toward the close of this work 15:01 and that God wants to pour it out. 15:03 It's vital that it's poured out. 15:05 It's vital that I understand it by faith 15:08 and I receive it by faith. 15:10 It would change me and make me a candidate for heaven. 15:16 People say, "Well, we're not sure 15:18 when it's going to be poured out." 15:19 At the close of the work, 15:22 the Holy Spirit latter rain is going to go 15:23 and I believe it's going to be, oh listen carefully, 15:25 some of you won't get this, 15:27 it's going to be after the National Sunday law. 15:30 Interesting thought, can't go into all that right now 15:32 but just good food for thought. 15:36 Then how does the early rain affect individuals. 15:39 Remember, the early rain was given in moderation 15:42 and then what? 15:43 Conversion. People gave their life. 15:46 It would lead them to, notice this, 15:48 it would lead them to overcome confess, 15:50 forsake, and to gain victory over all sin. 15:54 Wow! 15:55 That's pretty heavy duty, isn't it? 15:58 They were, we are to reflect Jesus fully. 16:05 Don't be alarmed. 16:06 Remember, if you're alarmed, you get all upset, 16:08 say I don't want to hear. 16:09 It's because you're looking once again in the mirror 16:11 at yourself and you see a defeated foe. 16:13 And you're by yourself 16:14 but with Christ certainly it's possible. 16:18 No one will argue I don't think the fact 16:20 that we are to represent, 16:22 we are to reflect Jesus to the world. 16:27 You can't represent Jesus to the world 16:29 if He's not in your heart, in your soul. 16:31 If you're not speaking, and acting, 16:32 and doing what Jesus would do and act, 16:33 and says, He's not living there. 16:36 Wow! 16:40 Early rain given, we reflect Jesus. 16:44 And it continues throughout the Christian experience. 16:49 Praise God for that rain, that early rain. 16:53 It's quite an experience and then later comes what, 16:57 they're into this world that the later rain and it, 17:01 that rain is given to mature us, to finish us, 17:06 that we may grow up in the full statue of Jesus. 17:10 That latter rain on individual, 17:12 that's talking about pouring out the Holy Spirit 17:15 in abundance. 17:16 Never seen anything like it what God wants to do 17:18 and will do to His church, 17:20 but we have to be ready for that. 17:21 He just can't poured out on just somebody said, 17:23 "I'd like to have it." 17:24 There are conditions to be met. 17:26 And we've said often to every program 17:29 that He cannot pour out that latter rain 17:32 until every sin is confessed and forsaken. 17:37 When His character is fully reproduced in us, 17:39 He will come. 17:41 Think about if we have sin that we've not confessed 17:43 and He puts his robe of righteousness over us, 17:47 then that sin stays there, doesn't it? 17:51 Wow! 17:53 So he can't do that and without that, 17:54 oh, without that robe of righteousness, 17:58 oh, that robe of righteousness is my ticket to heaven. 18:02 I can't get in the gate without the robe of righteousness on. 18:06 But He can't give it to you. 18:07 He can't put it on you as it were 18:09 while there's still sin. 18:11 That's why He said He's faithful 18:13 and just to forgive us. 18:15 That's why He's our high priest. 18:16 The Bible said, if we sin we... 18:17 Ooh, we have an advocate with the Father. 18:20 I can't tell you how it thrills my heart. 18:22 It just thrills my heart 18:23 if any man sin we've an advocate with the Father 18:25 but there coming a time when there will be a people 18:30 and the devil's got to counterfeit certainly for this. 18:34 That God's people will live in the side of Holy God 18:37 without a mediator. 18:39 Hope we have time to talk some more about that. 18:42 There won't be a mediator. Jesus is my mediator. 18:47 He's interceding between me and God. 18:49 Hallelujah. 18:53 The latter rain, great abundance. 18:57 I believe again following National Sunday law. 19:00 In powers God's people to give the final loud cry. 19:04 We talked about loud cry. 19:06 I'm talking about the final loud cry 19:08 to reach full maturity, victory over sin, 19:11 then ready for harvest. 19:13 Oh, I want to be ready for that harvest. 19:17 Question when, you know, we're talking about victory, 19:20 full victory, when is it to be accomplished? 19:23 When is it to be done? 19:24 There's all kind of debate and I wish there was no debate. 19:30 I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit 19:31 for all of us. 19:32 You know what, 19:34 where I need to change, I want to change. 19:38 I'm never going to make it to heaven believing in a lie, 19:42 only the truth. 19:44 John 17:17, you know it, 19:46 "Sanctify them through thy, truth thy word is truth." 19:50 Be prepared for heaven 19:51 is by knowing what truth changes an individual. 19:55 A lie doesn't change it turns to the image of the devil, 19:58 not Christ. 20:00 So we have to want to know and love what truth is, 20:02 but when is this work going to be accomplished in me? 20:05 How could it's going to be done? 20:08 People say, "I've heard this all over the world. 20:11 Well, when He comes, 20:13 there He's going to change us, really? 20:20 My Bible tells me in Book of Revelation, 20:21 He says when He comes, 20:23 He brings his reward with him 20:26 to give every man according as his work shall be. 20:29 That kind of puts a little bit of a hole in that, 20:31 doesn't it? 20:33 They only thing that we change Paul talks about 20:35 in 1 Corinthians 15 20:37 is this vile body is going to be changed 20:38 into a glorious body like Jesus, 20:39 says nothing about the character. 20:42 Why am I here? Why are you here? 20:43 Is it not to ask God to help us 20:46 to have the right kind of character 20:47 that's all we can take to heaven, 20:49 remember, nothing else. 20:51 You can't take anything with you, just your character. 20:53 Who you are? 20:57 So what's really going to change 21:00 'cause many are banking on this. 21:02 Oh, I lack all of these things but when He comes, 21:04 He'll make up all the different. 21:06 We realize as humanity and divinity working together 21:09 but notice when we, when we've done all to stand. 21:16 When we've done all to stand. 21:21 When I'm living up to every ray by the grace and power of God, 21:25 not legalistic at all I do 21:27 because I love Him with all my heart. 21:29 Look what He's done for me. 21:33 And I love Him with my whole heart, 21:34 my soul, my mind, that's what He says to do. 21:39 Then you see, He makes up the difference. 21:44 But I had to be living up 21:45 to every ray of light that I have. 21:52 Then He counts that perfection, does he not? 21:55 People say, "What you're talking about perfection 21:56 of character and being like Jesus, you know, 21:58 when He comes and that's the way. 22:01 You realize we're going to be growing on into perfection 22:04 through all eternity. 22:06 Being perfection, being like Jesus 22:08 is a growth for us. 22:10 And it continue to grows throughout all eternity. 22:14 But notice what this statement, 22:16 I don't want to confuse you but notice this statement. 22:18 When Jesus, 2T 355, 22:22 notice this, when He comes, 22:26 oh, He's coming back to visit this planet. 22:28 He's coming back to visit this planet. 22:30 Hallelujah. 22:31 I want to be ready, makes my feet tap just a little bit. 22:33 If you don't want to do, don't worry about it. 22:35 When He comes back, when Jesus comes, notice, 22:38 He's not to cleanse us of our sins. 22:42 When He comes back, what? 22:43 He's not going to cleanse us of our sins or to remove, 22:48 notice the defects of our character. 22:51 What does that mean? 22:52 When he comes and we can't what? 22:54 We can't have any sin in our life 22:55 and we can't any defects of character. 22:58 I think I understand more and more enough that we should. 23:01 But I understand more and more 23:02 why some people want to throw out 23:04 may be the spirit of prophecy. 23:07 The Bible says exactly what I'm talking about, 23:08 I'm not saying anything new the Spirit of Prophecy, 23:10 the Bible doesn't say. 23:12 Passage after passage, 23:13 dozens and dozens of scripture tells us the same thing. 23:16 I'm just trying to make it clear for you 23:18 and clear for me that we understand. 23:20 When He comes, He's not going to cleanse us of any sin, 23:23 probation will have closed. 23:26 Either it's righteous to be righteous still, 23:27 either be filthy be filthy still, 23:29 He's not going to remove us the defects of our characters. 23:33 Notice or cure us from any infirmities of our, 23:37 oh-oh, of our tempers and dispositions. 23:41 Amen. Don't hang on that bad temper. 23:43 Lord have mercy, I pray for mine, 23:44 oh, Lord of my patience. 23:49 Okay, rest of you saying, man, I don't have that problem. 23:51 But I tell you've got something. 23:53 You probably have a problem somewhere, 23:54 just list it out before Him. 23:56 Ask God, He will help you. 23:59 He's not going to cure us of those infirmity, 24:01 our evil tempers and our disposition. 24:03 Notice, if wrought for us at all, 24:09 if wrought for 24:11 or if we gain this victory through the power 24:13 and the blood of Jesus Christ, 24:15 the early rain and the latter rain, 24:17 outpouring of the spirit of the living God, 24:20 if it's to be accomplished, 24:21 notice it will be accomplished before that time, 24:25 before Jesus comes. 24:28 No work will then be done for them 24:30 to remove their defects 24:32 or to give them holy characters. 24:35 This is all done in the hour of what? 24:38 Come on church, hour of probation. 24:40 Wow! 24:43 It is now that the work is to be accomplished for us. 24:49 In my poor little mind I could just sit down 24:53 and say amen, I've got it. 24:55 Certainly we need help and continue on striving 24:58 but I'm thinking right here that's so simple, 25:00 that's so plain, that's so clear, 25:01 especially for Bible believing people, 25:03 especially for God's last day church, 25:05 especially for those who says we're remnant church, 25:06 especially those who claim Revelation 12:17 25:09 a dragon was wroth with the woman, 25:10 and went to make war with the remnant of her seed 25:12 who keep the commandments of God 25:13 and the testimony of Jesus. 25:17 That's simple, there's no debate. 25:19 It's now that this work is to be accomplished 25:22 so I'm here, I'm born in this world on probation. 25:28 I've often said if you happen to get in trouble 25:30 with police, 25:35 and you might be blessed enough just they give you probation. 25:40 You want to make sure during that time of probation 25:44 will you say something like this, 25:45 we keep our nose clean. 25:48 During that hour of probation, 25:49 we don't even want a parking ticket. 25:53 We don't even want Him to look at us twice. 25:58 Because we realize that probation 26:00 then everything will be cleared after that's over. 26:03 We are on probation to see 26:05 where heaven's going to be our home or not, 26:08 it depends on our faithfulness to Jesus Christ. 26:11 Letting him work. 26:15 Say, "Well, I've been preparing a little bit." 26:18 I love the book The Great Controversy. 26:19 Oh, I do. 26:21 I'm glad you're putting forth an effort. 26:24 These lessons that we're doing 26:25 and just going over some of these things 26:27 may be old hat for many 26:29 but oh, friend, are we really applying them? 26:31 Do we really believe it? 26:34 Or do we just think you know what, 26:35 heaven not going to be heaven unless I'm there. 26:37 So I'm sure he's going to take me. 26:38 God sure is going to take me regardless, no He won't. 26:41 He love you through all eternity 26:43 but unless we by His grace, His strength, 26:46 by the life of Jesus, 26:47 meet His requirement, heaven won't be our home. 26:51 Let's just get down to it, shall we? 26:53 Great Controversy 620 makes a statement, 26:55 please listen, those who delay preparation, 26:59 you know what, many, many in the world, 27:04 many who should know better, 27:06 you're delaying that preparation right now. 27:10 You're thinking, "I kind of know 27:11 what's going on in the world, 27:13 I've read the Bible, read Spirit of Prophecy, 27:15 I know the back of the book 27:16 and I know when I should shift gears." 27:18 I've often said that. You won't do it. You won't. 27:23 When it's time, well, I think it's time right now, 27:25 I'm going to shift gears, you won't 27:26 because the time will be a terrible time. 27:29 Now it's an easy time may I say really 27:31 to give your life to Jesus to live for Him. 27:33 The time has come. It's not going to be so easy. 27:37 That's what the Bible says. 27:39 Not build, buy or sale say you have the mark 27:41 unless you follow like the rest of the world. 27:43 God says it's going to be a different people. 27:45 There going to be holy people. They're going to be like me. 27:50 Because I in them, and them in me. 27:54 Great Controversy 620, those who are delaying 27:57 a preparation for the day of God 28:00 cannot obtain it in the time of trouble 28:04 or any subsequent time. 28:08 I wish I didn't have to read this last line, but I will. 28:15 The cause of all such is hopeless. 28:24 I have family and friends, people who I care about... 28:32 and it seems they're not putting Christ 28:35 may be in the position where He needs to be put. 28:40 I'm recognizing, I know I'm striving daily 28:41 by the grace of God but they're willfully ignoring 28:44 what they understand in all its truth. 28:48 And many say one of these days 28:49 after I retire I'll accept the message, 28:51 after I, this happens and that happens 28:54 and I will but if we're delaying that preparation, 28:57 you see during this hour of probationary time 29:00 is when we're being tested and tried to see 29:03 what kind of material that we are. 29:06 Do we really mean what we say? 29:07 Do we really believe it? 29:09 Are we living it by the grace of God? 29:11 Are we gaining victories day by day? 29:13 Isn't it interesting you see some people, 29:15 they seem to be strong in the Lord all the time. 29:18 And you'll say, "Oh, I wish, 29:19 oh, I wish I was strong like that person." 29:23 Surely all of us have certainly in the past, 29:25 you realize, you look at that as a Christian, 29:27 Bible believer. 29:29 They're getting stronger everyday 29:30 because they're tested and tried 29:31 and they're coming forth more than conquers 29:33 through Jesus Christ. 29:35 And they're gaining strength and more power every day. 29:38 And then others are being defeated day-in and day-out, 29:42 they're growing weak. 29:45 But if we are delaying, 29:46 this is the time that we need to gain that relationship 29:49 and that strength that we're told 29:51 that the experience that we need with Jesus 29:53 very few have it 29:56 that will see them through the time of trouble. 30:00 If we are refusing to get on the ball, 30:04 if we are refusing to do what God has ask us to do, 30:07 the cause of such is hopeless. 30:11 There's no hope. 30:14 Such sad words makes me stop 30:19 and try to think, oh, Lord. 30:22 We must seek the importance of preparation 30:27 to receive more than just, 30:28 you know, more than just praying, 30:31 I'm going to pray for the early rain, 30:34 I'm going to pray for the latter rain, 30:35 it's more than just hoping for, hope it happens. 30:38 I've heard somebody say, 30:40 "I hope I'm standing close to someone 30:41 that the latter rain falls on, 30:43 maybe I'll get a little bit of it." 30:44 No, you won't. 30:48 You say, I know people saying, "Oh, you're just too ugly, 30:50 oh, it's too much, oh, it's you. 30:52 You will not. 30:56 You can't receive that some, God, 30:57 the Holy Spirit gives to somebody else. 30:59 It doesn't just flow over on you. 31:01 You had to do more than hope. 31:03 You've to be more than praying for it. 31:05 Just believing it's going to happen, 31:07 there are conditions. 31:09 So how we're going to deal with these, 31:11 once again how we're going to deal 31:13 with this passage of scripture? 31:14 This is, you can say, "Kenny, that's your dilemma." 31:16 I have a dilemma because I've read scripture here. 31:19 And here what many of the leading people say 31:20 and lot of people have respect for, love for, 31:22 and they say blah, blah, blah. 31:23 Hey, what does the Bible say? 31:29 Colossians 4:12, the Bible says that, 31:31 "Ye may stand, what? 31:32 Good, perfect and complete in all the will of God." 31:36 Didn't say little bit here, little bit there, 31:37 we'll make up and just stand complete in him. 31:40 2 Timothy 3:17, the Bible says 31:44 that the Man of God may be perfect 31:46 and I know that's mature, I know that's growing up. 31:48 But I know there's a difference in maturity 31:50 and I know there's a difference 31:52 in getting complete victory over sin. 31:54 The Bible is clear. 31:56 Hebrews 6:1, it says, "Let us go on to perfection." 31:59 What do I do with this? 32:01 You say, "Well, you're reading some New Testament." 32:03 Yes, how about the Old Testament? 32:06 Moses in Bible even Moses, "Oh, yeah, we believe. 32:09 We like to read about Mo." 32:10 You know, Moses wrote in Deuteronomy 18:13, 32:15 Moses said, "Thou shall be perfect," 32:18 big words. 32:21 Why? 32:23 Wow! 32:24 Did he, did he not have audience 32:26 with the King of the universe? 32:30 He understood a little bit about perfection 32:32 and what it's going to take to repopulate heaven. 32:37 Those precious, guardian angels of ours 32:40 and all the angels of glory, they want you to be there. 32:44 They want me to be there, but boy, I'm telling you, 32:46 if I were, be careful of this, Kenny, 32:48 if I were up there, and I'm looking down 32:52 and I'm seeing, 32:54 okay, I don't use anybody, I see myself and must say, 32:58 oh, Lord makes sure he's ready to come up here 33:00 'cause we don't, we don't need that mess up here. 33:05 Just like you in a sense want to preserve your peace 33:09 and your happiness here in your home, 33:10 and your family, you want to protect it. 33:15 God said, "I'm going to protect heaven, 33:16 sin will not rise up again the second time." 33:20 These are awesome thoughts. 33:23 Moses said, "Be perfect." 33:24 God said in Genesis 17:1, "Be thou perfect." 33:31 Jesus commanded, you remember in Matthew 5:48 33:34 that we'll spend a little time talking about. 33:37 I think it's lesson number two. 33:40 Be there for perfect 33:41 as a Father which art in heaven. 33:42 You remember that? 33:44 Paul wrote, Colossians 1:28 that we may present, notice, 33:48 every man perfect in Jesus Christ. 33:52 Wow! 33:54 Romans 6:6, what does that mean? 33:58 We should not serve sin. We should not serve sin. 34:02 We shouldn't be in slavery to sin. 34:05 It should not have a grip on us. 34:06 We need to be free over and over free from sin. 34:10 That doesn't mean attach to it occasionally, 34:12 once in a while, free. 34:16 In fact Romans 6:12 goes on, it makes it heavy, says, 34:18 "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies." 34:22 Don't let sin reign, sit up, live there, 34:27 in that your mortal body. 34:30 To couple of verses down Romans 6:14, the Bible said, 34:34 "For sin shall not have dominion over you." 34:38 What? 34:39 For sin shall not have dominion over you. 34:41 If Jesus is living in the heart, 34:43 the Holy Spirit is invited to come in. 34:46 You convey your will to Him. 34:49 You give yourself to Him, body, soul, and mind, 34:51 everything to Jesus Christ and tell him, 34:52 you're not capable. 34:56 I've told him sometime, 34:57 "Oh Lord, please take everything, 34:58 take me because if I don't, 35:00 the devil's going to work me over. 35:02 And he will work you over on your own. 35:04 You're not big enough but through Christ certainly. 35:09 He will help us. 35:12 James 1:4 that you may be perfect and entire, 35:15 wanting nothing, perfect perfection. 35:18 All that we've been studying this is going over, 35:20 just scratching a little bit the surface of dozens 35:22 and dozens of notes and pages I've written down 35:24 and talked about though how interesting this is. 35:27 At every time we talk about maturing, and perfecting, 35:31 and perfection, 35:32 we're talking about living a life without sinning. 35:36 That means we're up to every bit of light 35:38 that you have. 35:39 Probably safe to say, "Oh, God help us. 35:41 I'm not setting up some kind of a judge, 35:43 but I'm just wandering today, 35:44 should we not challenge our self. 35:48 Ask that question between you and God. 35:51 Am I living up to every ray of light 35:54 that I know is truth? 35:56 If not we're failing. We're backsliding. 36:00 I'm telling, by grace of God I understand that. 36:03 Can't do it on your own. 36:05 But most generally we'll find out, 36:07 well, I know this but I, well, I know I shouldn't. 36:13 We're not living up to every ray of light. 36:15 To live up to every ray of light, 36:17 even if you just came under, coming in to the faith. 36:20 Listen, the Bible says this, 36:22 "First the blade then the ear and then the full corn." 36:27 What stage is perfection in? 36:30 Oh, it's simple but that, first the blade 36:33 as soon as it pops out of the soil, 36:36 it's perfect where? 36:37 Good, in that stage. 36:39 First the blade then the ear is perfect in that stage, 36:42 it can be and then the full corn, perfection. 36:46 But in every stage of my walk, 36:48 we talk about climbing a ladder, 36:50 in my, I can be right with heaven. 36:54 I can be right with God because of Jesus Christ. 36:56 That's so beautiful. 36:59 Righteousness by faith, I believe it. 37:01 I can be right, it doesn't mean you know everything 37:04 and you got everything under control. 37:05 But listen, you're living up to every ray of light 37:08 you know that God does require that. 37:11 Live without sinning. 37:13 This statement is heavy duty 37:14 but why don't we just considered anyway. 37:16 Sometime I get it digging a hole and I just, 37:18 I get deeper and deeper, some people say 37:20 but I'm going to keep on digging 37:22 'cause I think it's right, 37:23 I think we need at least think about or pray about it. 37:26 I love the book, 37:27 one of the best books ever written 37:29 on life of Christ, outside the Word of God, 37:31 Desire of Ages. 37:33 Life of Christ, page 311, notice what it says, it says, 37:38 "The tempters agency is not to be accounted as an excuse. 37:44 I've heard people say, "Well, I did it 37:46 because I know I shouldn't have done it 37:48 but, I know, oh, I didn't mean to do, 37:51 I will but then they deserve it." 37:54 The tempters agency is not to be accounted 37:56 as an excuse for one wrong act. 38:02 You had to think about it or maybe you chose 38:04 or maybe that was you hadn't gain that and you just did, 38:06 and you know it was wrong but you did it anyway. 38:12 I don't... 38:13 hope I can say this in a right way. 38:15 I don't want the devil to be happy. 38:19 Did what? 38:21 I don't want the devil to be happy. 38:23 You know when he's happy? 38:25 When he's got you around the nap of the neck. 38:28 That's when he's happy. 38:29 This article goes on to said, notice this, Satan is jubilant. 38:33 I'm not sure if I understand all that is or not 38:35 but that may be jumping him down screaming, 38:36 yelling and say, "Oh, I've got him now." 38:39 Boy. 38:41 Just wants to be somebody 38:43 representing the character of Jesus Christ, 38:44 he's supposed to be somebody part of family of God. 38:46 Look, what a mess. 38:48 They're no better than we are. 38:50 He's jubilant when he hears 38:52 the professed followers of Christ 38:54 making excuses for their deformity of character. 38:57 How many times that may be we've done that? 39:01 Lord, forgive us. 39:03 He loves it, he gets excited. 39:06 The devil, all his evil angels of hell get jubilant. 39:11 They start laughing and say, oh, this why? 39:12 Because we're making excuses for our deformative character. 39:18 I was born in this way, well, get the victory. 39:23 I was born on the wrong side of tracks. 39:25 Well move on the other side. 39:27 This happened to me while I was growing up. 39:30 Old things have passed away, behold old things become new, 39:32 church, I'm talking to you. 39:34 I'm talking to myself. 39:37 Yeah, but I did that, had this done, and this done, 39:39 and this done, and this done. 39:40 Remember old things passed away, 39:42 behold old things become new in Jesus Christ. 39:44 He can create a new, a clean heart, 39:46 renew a right spirit within you. 39:49 The mind can change. 39:50 Praise God, isn't that wonderful? 39:53 Isn't that wonderful? 39:54 My mind can change all these things that happened, 39:58 the love of Christ in me. 39:59 I can have, find forgiveness in my own life. 40:01 I can find forgiveness for others 40:03 and I can move on by the grace of God. 40:07 To me that's so exciting. I cannot. 40:10 If we made excuses 40:14 for the defects of our character, 40:16 we need to say, "God, please forgive me." 40:19 Article goes on... 40:21 Oh, boy, there's a reason for all of this. 40:24 There's a reason for this, remember he's jubilant, 40:27 he's happy, he dancing around, carrying on, 40:33 look at the people of God. 40:35 Let me tell you. 40:37 The devil knows better than you. 40:39 Know better than I do. 40:41 The power of God almighty and what God can do. 40:44 God talks to the enemy, 40:45 He tells the enemy just like he did in the garden. 40:48 Be careful, let me paraphrase. 40:50 Get up in that tree and don't move. 40:54 You can go there and you can't go any further. 40:58 You can do this to Brother Kenny 40:59 but that's all you can do and don't go a bit. 41:02 Yes, sir. Yes, sir. 41:04 Because he's a defeated foe. 41:07 Don't think I'm making sport of this 41:08 but remember we serve a God that's God. 41:12 The enemy is defeated. 41:13 And he can only do and go where God allows him. 41:18 That's why He says, 41:19 "I'll not put more on you than you're able to bear 41:21 without providing a way of escape." 41:23 Oh, that's helped me so many times. 41:26 Pray that's helped you. 41:29 Notice this, we're talking about 41:32 when we make excuses as a Christian 41:34 because we did the wrong thing. 41:37 I wouldn't have done it but he got right in my face. 41:40 Man, have I heard that, talking to people, 41:44 marriage counsel, whatever it might be, 41:47 "Oh, I didn't want to do it but he had challenged me, 41:48 I know it wasn't right." 41:50 What if you know it wasn't right? 41:53 I'll say everybody hasn't done, I'm just... 41:55 We don't want do the right thing. 41:57 Here's why, 41:59 it is these excuses that leads to sin. 42:05 These excuses lead to sin. 42:08 And notice the next statement is big and powerful, 42:11 there is no excuse for sinning. 42:16 Wow! 42:19 I've made plenty in my time 42:24 that I know that I shouldn't do, 42:26 and I'm not going to do it by the grace of God. 42:28 It is what it is. There is no, what? 42:33 Excuse for sinning, why? 42:35 Because... 42:37 Oh, glory, have mercy on us. 42:39 Because all of heaven... 42:44 all of heaven will be emptied, 42:47 if that's what it takes to keep me 42:50 from doing the wrong thing. 42:51 Wow! 42:54 Did you know you were that important? 42:57 It blows my mind. 43:00 Before God would see one of his children 43:03 do the wrong thing, if we plead and ask, 43:07 he will empty all of heaven. 43:10 I like this song heaven came down 43:12 and glory filled my soul. 43:15 When at the cross, the savior made be whole. 43:20 There's no excuse because all of heaven is on your side, 43:24 child of God. 43:30 And then it goes on and gets a little more specific here, 43:32 it says, there's no excuse for sinning a holy temper, 43:37 notice a holy temper, a Christ like life 43:42 is accessible to every repenting, 43:46 believing child of God. 43:48 Wow! 43:50 The Son of Man, Oh, listen, the Son of Man, 43:53 Jesus Christ was perfect in His life. 43:56 So His followers are to be perfect in their life. 44:01 He was the blameless Son of God. 44:05 He was God in the flesh. 44:08 His... 44:09 His character is to be ours. 44:12 In a time we stop making excuses, 44:15 stop saying what the preacher teaches 44:17 or somebody else preaches and teaches 44:18 and somebody else believe. 44:20 What does the Word of God say? 44:24 What does the passage of scripture say? 44:25 I want you to see this because if we miss it, 44:28 if we think that it's not available to us, 44:30 that is just a... 44:32 something that can never happen, 44:34 you will never try, 44:35 you will never put forth an effort, 44:37 you will never pray, 44:38 you will never work toward this by the grace of God. 44:40 And we know it's all about heaven. 44:43 All I can do, I'm a lost cause. You're a lost cause. 44:50 All I can do in the plan of salvation 44:53 is to submit myself to Jesus. 44:58 It says work out your own merit. 45:00 Salvation with fear and trembling, 45:01 you say, not it's got to do with works. 45:03 No, but you will have, we understand that. 45:07 My part in the plan of salvation 45:09 is giving myself to Jesus. 45:12 That's all. 45:14 Just giving myself to Him fully and completely 45:17 and He says, "I'm going to work this out. 45:20 You must bear my character," Jesus says. 45:25 When you know the portals of glory 45:27 as it where Christ must be seen no longer I but Christ. 45:34 Wow! 45:36 So I'm just seeing more and more His character 45:39 is to be ours. 45:42 I'll put that on my note 45:44 and I put three check marks after 45:45 and I say, "Oh, exclamation mark, 45:49 oh, Lord, help me." 45:54 But I see more and more 45:55 when I think about the plan of redemption. 45:59 I think in lesson two I've mentioned this 46:02 and I'm going to mention again 46:03 because I have to consider in the whole, 46:05 the plan of redemption we must consider complete recovery 46:10 from what? 46:11 From the power of the enemy or sin. 46:14 That's what this whole controversy is all about. 46:18 There will be a people, say with me, church, 46:22 there will be a people 46:25 that will vindicate the character of God. 46:30 For the enemy started the lie in heaven says, 46:32 "It's not possible to be obedient to live without sin." 46:37 Jesus came down and proved him wrong. 46:39 Praise God. 46:41 And He said, "And furthermore there will be a people 46:43 in the last days that will live that victorious life." 46:49 That will live in the side of a holy God 46:51 without a mediator. 46:53 Wow! Without sin. 46:55 So when I look at salvation, 46:57 I see complete recovery from the enemy's power. 47:01 Complete means entire, 47:03 complete means it comes to an end. 47:05 Complete means it's finished. It's done with. 47:09 There's no parts that's lacking. 47:12 I have to consider that, please remember. 47:14 Book Testimonies to Ministers 506, 47:18 it says the latter rain, 47:19 notice it falls near the close of the season. 47:22 So we're getting this in our head, 47:23 it falls nears the close of the season. 47:25 It ripens the grain and prepares for the sickle. 47:31 This is what we need. 47:33 This is what we should be praying for. 47:35 But remember praying for the latter rain, 47:36 sin has to go. 47:38 The latter rain can't fall. 47:39 Without the latter rain 47:41 we can't go through the time of trouble. 47:42 Without the latter rain, equipping God's people 47:43 loud cry can't be heard. 47:45 We won't be sealed. We won't make it heaven. 47:46 Oh, come on church, listen... 47:53 You think when we reach the state of... 47:55 some people will say sinlessness, 47:57 that's going to be it. 47:58 No. 47:59 Book Education 106, notice this, it says, 48:02 even though a person, come on now, 48:04 even though a person reaches the state of sinlessness, 48:08 there is still a work of growth and development. 48:12 It continues under the latter rain 48:15 and after probation closes. 48:19 And individual, notice this, 48:21 as individuals by the work done for God's people. 48:25 This is what God's going to do individually for the people. 48:28 So that they can help them to live, 48:30 equip them to live during the time of Jacob's trouble. 48:34 Wow! 48:37 There was still growth. 48:39 I mean think of Jesus, it's that He continued, 48:43 He was perfect all throughout right, 48:45 but He said He continued to live and grow. 48:49 Wow! 48:52 Isn't that wonderful to know by the grace of God, 48:54 we're going to continue to grow in the grace 48:56 and knowledge of Lord Jesus Christ 48:57 in plan of salvation? 49:00 But let me just emphasize. 49:02 In our last several minutes here, 49:04 emphasize the fact that unless that early rain, 49:07 unless you invite him in, confess and forsake the sin, 49:11 bring Him in, conviction of the spirit. 49:13 I want Jesus to live and reign in my heart. 49:16 That early rain comes and unless it's done its job, 49:19 unless you make that choice and that decision, 49:21 the latter rain cannot bring that, 49:24 bring that seed to perfection. 49:27 As we quoted while ago, 49:28 we talked about it in Mark 4:28, 49:31 "First the blade, then the ear, then the full corn." 49:36 Our characters must reach full maturity 49:39 before probation closes. 49:42 It must. 49:44 There will be, we've read, we understand it. 49:47 There will be no character changes 49:49 when Christ comes. 49:52 Five Testimonies 466, notice this, 49:54 in case we're still doubting Thomas, 49:56 you're probably the remnant church, 49:57 you need to get with the program 49:59 and I do too. 50:02 466 says, "The coming of Christ 50:04 does not change our characters." 50:07 It only fixes them forever beyond all change. 50:12 Did you get it? 50:13 The coming of Christ does not change. 50:15 Is there something we want to debate about that? 50:17 I don't think so. 50:19 The coming of Christ does not change our character. 50:22 It only fixes them forever beyond all change. 50:28 That's why over and over we say, 50:29 "What do you take to heaven, kids? 50:31 What do you take to heaven?" 50:32 We can only take our characters. 50:34 Oh, character then have to be perfected character in it, 50:36 during the hours of probation, not when Jesus comes. 50:41 We must guard this thought pattern 50:44 because the devil's going to use, 50:45 try to use our minds, if we give it to him, 50:49 if we open up a door, 50:51 he's going to try to take your mind. 50:53 But remember this, the devil cannot touch, 50:55 the devil cannot come in, 50:57 the devil cannot have your mind, 50:58 he cannot read the mind unless you give it to him. 51:01 Give him a door of opportunity, 51:03 he will certainly come in and he will take control. 51:07 That's what we read before in 2 Corinthians 10:5, it said, 51:11 "We're to bring into captivity every thought." 51:15 Every thought to the obedience of Christ, 51:19 then to help us to really gather the... 51:23 in my mind the magnitude of this a little book 51:25 called Medical Ministry page 114, 51:29 Satan acts through the mind possessed by him. 51:34 What does he want to do? 51:36 He wants to possess your mind. 51:37 How does he do it? 51:39 We know today we talked about another lesson we have, 51:41 through intemperance, through things that we eat, 51:43 things we do, what's drugged, alcohol, 51:44 all these things that affect our thinking and our mind 51:46 and drugs we take in. 51:49 We're drug infested country. 51:52 But we look down and knows if everybody else, 51:54 you know whether they're taking this and this. 51:56 Everything has its effect. We need to be careful. 52:01 You know, when Jesus start dying on the cross 52:03 and they offer him a little some, 52:04 little vinegar and some, kind of help with the pain. 52:07 He was afraid that it would affect His thought. 52:10 He didn't want to take anything 52:12 that would affect the clear communication with heaven. 52:15 I don't need it. God help me. 52:18 Again Desire of Ages 310 says, 52:21 "He Jesus declares that by the, listen, 52:25 by the evil thoughts or lustful look 52:29 the law of God is transgressed." 52:31 So see the devil wants to take your eyes, 52:33 he wants to take your ears. 52:35 Well, I didn't do it. 52:37 I just thought it, that's still sin. 52:39 Isn't that interesting? 52:41 Because it exists first, sin exists first where? 52:44 Come on church, in the mind, good. 52:46 It exist in the mind and then if there's an opportunity, 52:50 we even judge to that point to say, 52:52 if you had opportunity, you would've done this 52:55 'cause God knows. 53:00 Jesus said there's a man think it in his heart. 53:02 He said in Matthew, what is it? 53:03 Five, 15:18, "If a man, 53:06 whosoever look up on woman to lust." 53:10 Didn't have to do anything just look eyes of lust, 53:14 that's sin. 53:16 The heart and the mind can't be right. 53:18 We had to pray God, take my eyes, take my ears, 53:20 take my brain, take everything, 53:21 take my whole body, soul, and mind, 53:23 'cause if I don't I get carried away, 53:25 we're doing the wrong things, 53:26 but with You there it will be okay. 53:29 Proverbs 23:7, "For as he thinketh, remember, 53:35 for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." 53:40 You look around, judge everybody, oh, well, 53:42 they did this, they got caught, they did this and that. 53:45 As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. 53:48 Desire of Ages 161, quickly, 53:51 "The temple of the heart is defiled, 53:54 the temple of the heart is defiled by sensual passions 53:59 and unholy thoughts." 54:02 Notice since your passions lustful. 54:07 And in the original language it says, 54:09 dealing with the body. 54:12 Sensual, the other word translated voluptuous. 54:15 Wow, thoughts. 54:19 The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:17, 54:22 "If any man defiled the temple of God, 54:25 and him shall God destroy." 54:27 For the temple of God is, come on church, it's holy, 54:31 which temple ye are. 54:33 You defile it. 54:34 The word means if you ruin it, if your corrupt it, 54:38 if you wither it away as it were. 54:42 You are the temple, if you destroy willfully, 54:45 you knowingly, we will be destroyed. 54:48 That's what the Bible said. 54:50 Satan will control the thoughts. 54:52 Just couple of minutes left, stay with me church. 54:55 How Satan controls the thoughts 4 Testimonies 560 says, 54:58 "But when they, us, we allow the mind 55:01 to be diverted from God, then Satan comes in 55:06 and controls the thoughts and perverts the judgment." 55:09 How is it that the devil can come in, 55:11 when the mind is diverted, when we become side tracked, 55:16 when we turn aside from God, 55:18 when we take our eyes off of Christ, 55:20 when we stop listening to the unction 55:21 and the pleadings of the Holy Spirit of God, 55:24 then Satan comes in. 55:26 He just doesn't come in, he comes in to control. 55:28 He comes in to take over. 55:30 He comes in to ruin you. He is going to be jubilant. 55:34 He gets you to fall, they laugh and they carry on and say, 55:37 "We've got them now." 55:41 Praise God for the cross of Calvary. 55:45 My Bible says as we close, 1 John 3:3, 55:49 "At every man that had this hope, I have the hope, 55:51 Jesus is going to come again." 55:54 He's going to return to this planet. 55:56 Every man that had this hope, notice, 55:58 purified himself even as he Christ is pure. 56:05 Does that mean that we can remove it? 56:06 Absolutely not. 56:08 But we can commit our self in to the care 56:10 and keeping of someone who really cares for us. 56:13 My friend, heaven won't be the same 56:15 if you're not there. 56:17 If there's one place that's missing, 56:19 Christ will always remember that, 56:21 He'll know that. 56:22 He's going to prepare a place for you, 56:24 he's going to come and receive you in his self. 56:27 He said where I'm there you may be also. 56:29 Oh, won't you make that decision today. 56:31 Most of church members you had this preconceived idea 56:33 about all the stuff here, 56:35 we just do it and all will be taken care of, 56:37 just simply turn your life over to Him everyday, 56:39 trust Him. 56:40 Trust His word. See what takes place. 56:43 I'm going to kneel and have prayer 56:44 for the decisions that are made right now 56:46 and decisions that I need to make 56:47 in my own personal life. 56:49 And I ask you to pray for me as I pray for you. 56:50 Shall we pray? 56:52 Loving Father in heaven, 56:53 again we thank you for your word. 56:55 We thank you, it's powerful, it's clear, it's strong. 56:57 Your Holy Spirit accompanies it. 56:59 And we thank you for the decisions 57:00 that have been made right now, 57:02 the people that are listening to your word, 57:03 your Holy Spirit convicts and converts. 57:05 We thank you for that in Jesus' name. 57:08 Amen. 57:09 Again we're very grateful and thankful, 57:10 you've joined us here for the Pillars. 57:13 Again I love when you say Pillars 57:15 because I know it's a foundation. 57:17 It has to be strong based upon Jesus Christ. 57:20 I know He's coming soon. 57:21 He's going to visit this planet soon. 57:22 We need to be ready. God bless you. 57:24 We love you. We'll see you next time. |
