Amen. 04:35 That was beautiful. 04:36 That was beautiful. I love it. 04:38 That was fun. 04:39 Tim Parton, where do you come up 04:40 with all of that stuff? 04:42 I'm as nervous about it as you are. 04:45 It just happens. 04:46 Yeah, honestly when he plays, 04:48 I mean, you couldn't think all of those notes, 04:50 it just comes from years of practice, right? 04:52 I guess, sir, from the Lord, I'll bling the Lord. 04:55 Well, absolutely. 04:56 Oh, Yvonne, you better welcome. 04:58 We got folks here, we're not by ourselves in the studio. 05:01 We're doing a Today program, right? 05:02 That's right. 05:04 Somebody welcome, John, CA, somebody welcome our viewers. 05:07 We want to welcome you to a very special Today program. 05:10 That's good. 05:11 We're just having fun around the piano. 05:12 I think this is one of the most... 05:14 can we say fun times we have, when we don't really practice 05:18 and we don't really prepare... 05:19 Yeah. 05:21 And we don't, we just pray and go. 05:22 That's right. 05:24 And that's why we were so amazed at, Tim, 05:25 because before he was playing some things 05:26 but he never played it like that, 05:28 so every time it comes out, it comes out brand new. 05:29 New again. 05:31 Well, that's a difference really in a real musician 05:34 and in a person like myself 05:36 who is an amateur like 05:38 I tend to play things the same way, 05:40 but he has so much music in his head. 05:41 Every time through he can play something different. 05:44 Now there's times he is limited 05:45 'cause when you're doing studio session, 05:48 nobody wants you to do all your own thing right? 05:51 'Cause you're walking on everybody else 05:52 but now this is a time to do it. 05:54 That's right. Just turn loose and... 05:56 Let 'er rip, they say. 05:58 Let 'er rip, that exactly right. 05:59 Well, we are glad that you're joining us. 06:00 We have Yvonne, we got CA, we got Pastor John 06:04 and I'll start to say Pastor Tim. 06:06 Tiny Tim. But Tiny Tim he said. 06:08 No, no, no, Brother Tim, big Tim to me. 06:10 I will tell you after playing like that. 06:12 So we decided just to do a program 06:15 that's a fun and praising the Lord. 06:16 Amen. 06:17 And music is absolutely 06:19 an incredible gift from God, isn't it? 06:20 It is. 06:22 And some folk, you know, it's not a matter of talent, 06:23 who has talent but to me it's about praising the Lord. 06:28 Amen. 06:29 So even people who are not professionals, 06:31 people who don't have great... 06:33 Still make a joyful noise, right? 06:34 They can make a joyful noise. 06:36 And so that's what I do from time to time 06:38 and some of you don't laugh 06:39 'cause that's all you do at home too. 06:41 You're just making a joyful noise. 06:43 There's not a lot of music coming out but you know what? 06:45 God is accepting that just as much as 06:47 when Pastor John sings or anyone else 06:50 or Sister Yvonne here sings, 06:52 because that's what it's all about, 06:54 praising the Lord. 06:55 But what a great, I can't tell you how many... 06:57 sometimes nights or evenings by myself, 06:59 I'd be traveling somewhere driving a long trip. 07:02 I bet you do that as much as you're in the music, 07:04 you just break out in a little song. 07:06 Oh, yeah. And it's just like a prayer. 07:08 God inhabits the praises of his people... 07:09 That's right. 07:11 And when you love and serve the Lord, 07:13 it's going to come out. 07:14 That's right. I'm glad that he gave music. 07:16 But some of us just was able to go a little bit farther 07:19 in the music like Tim than the rest of us. 07:21 He stayed on the bus. 07:22 Yeah, I stayed on the bus. 07:24 Hey, dear, what we're going to do next? 07:26 Let see we've written down some songs 07:28 and we'll take them in order or not, 07:29 but we've got the "Blood will never lose its power". 07:32 Tell us about the song? 07:34 You know, this song takes me back to Oakwood. 07:35 I know that CA was there, Dr. Yvonne Lewis, Yvonne to me. 07:39 Yeah. 07:40 And the blood of Jesus, 07:42 if you think of the one component 07:46 that takes us from bound to freedom, 07:48 it's the blood of Jesus. 07:49 Amen. 07:51 And so people think well, okay, 07:52 but that was 2000 years ago, will it ever, 07:55 will there ever need to be a substitute? 07:57 Well, the writer of the song says 07:59 the blood will never lose its power. 08:00 Yes. 08:02 So for those of you that are Oakwood alumni 08:04 or if you have heard the song before, 08:07 no matter what denomination, 08:08 it takes us to that gospel place... 08:09 Amen. 08:11 Where we remember, the most, 08:13 the greatest investment Jesus ever made was His blood. 08:16 Listen to it. 08:17 Andrae Crouch song, right? 08:19 That's right. That's right. 08:32 The blood that Jesus 08:37 shed for me 08:42 Way back 08:45 on Calvary 08:51 The blood that gives me strength 08:56 From day to day 09:00 It will never lose 09:06 its power 09:10 For it reaches 09:13 to the highest mountain 09:21 And it flows 09:23 to the lowest valley 09:29 Valley the blood 09:33 That gives me strength 09:36 From day to day 09:41 It will never 09:44 lose its power 09:57 It soothes my doubts 10:02 and calms my fears 10:07 And it dries 10:12 all my tears 10:17 The blood that gives me strength 10:22 From day to day 10:27 It will never 10:30 lose its power 10:36 'Cause it reaches 10:39 to the highest mountain 10:44 Mountain 10:47 And it flows 10:49 to the lowest valley 10:54 Valley the blood 10:59 That gives me strength 11:02 From day to day 11:07 It will never lose 11:12 It will never lose 11:17 It will never lose 11:22 its power 11:29 Praise the Lord. 11:31 Amen. Beautiful. 11:33 Oh, you really came out of that strong. 11:36 It's a powerful song. It is a powerful song. 11:38 And, John, you chose that today as you said, 11:40 it had meaning to you. 11:42 Right that, you know, the blood, where would we be? 11:44 How many times did we need 11:45 another drop of blood to clean us up? 11:48 And if the blood of Christ had ever been exhausted, 11:52 then there would be a cutoff point 11:53 where nobody else could be saved, 11:55 but the blood of Jesus never loses its power. 11:58 Praise God for that. 11:59 That's the burden of the Book of Hebrews. 12:00 Yeah. 12:02 That's the burden of the Book of Hebrews 12:03 that Christ is all sufficient 12:05 and the blood never loses its power. 12:06 And that was penned by Andrae Crouch, 12:07 isn't that right? 12:09 That's right. Powerful song. 12:10 Takes us way back to Oakwood. Yeah. 12:12 Great song but didn't take me back to Oakwood. 12:15 Didn't you, Tim? No. 12:16 I don't know about this... 12:18 You can be honorary Oakwood I assume. 12:19 Oh, I can. Okay, good. 12:21 You do have that plaque from Oakwood, so yeah. 12:23 I do have a plaque but you know what, I do love going 12:25 there and the music, talk about music that church. 12:28 Tim, if you've never been to Oakwood University, 12:32 you ought to go and listen to 12:33 some of the choirs and the musicians. 12:36 And Steve Darmody said to me once 12:38 when he was listening to that. 12:39 He said, that makes me want to give up. 12:42 He said, it makes me want to quit, 12:43 I'm singing all my life but I hear 12:45 some of these folks sing. 12:46 So that's the way I feel so you made a honor, 12:48 some of us we go just enjoy it, 12:50 just to be glad that the folks are doing 12:52 what they're doing and it's such an anointing 12:54 and such great music. 12:55 And so speaking of that wasn't meant to be a plug for Oakwood 12:59 but being there, I'm always blessed by the music... 13:01 Yes. That they have. 13:03 I'm also blessed by this guy though 13:05 Tim Parton and his music. 13:07 And, Tim, you're going to do something for us today. 13:09 Yeah. 13:10 And I ask you to sing anything you wanted to play. 13:12 Tell us why you chose this song? 13:14 This is a song that I remember singing as a kid 13:17 before I really, 13:19 probably understood what it meant 13:22 to totally surrender your life to Christ. 13:25 Okay. 13:26 But I grew up in this singing family. 13:28 We sang all throughout the weekend 13:31 and at churches on the weekends 13:34 and everywhere we went that this was what I sang. 13:39 And now I sing it with greater conviction 13:42 because it's even more so the truth. 13:44 Great. 13:52 It's my desire 13:58 To live for Jesus 14:05 It's my desire 14:11 To be like Him 14:18 Though often I've failed 14:24 And brought Him 14:26 Much shame 14:30 It's my desire 14:37 To live for Him 14:43 It's my desire 14:50 To help someone today 14:57 Someone who might 15:00 Have failed 15:03 To see the way 15:09 For I, too, 15:11 Was once so lost 15:16 But I found my way 15:20 To God 15:23 It's my desire... 15:30 To live for Him 15:36 If you could see 15:41 Where Jesus brought me from 15:45 To where I am today 15:50 Then you would know 15:54 The reason why 15:56 I love Him so 16:03 Now you can take this all world 16:09 Its wealth and riches 16:12 I don't need earth's fame 16:17 It's my desire 16:24 It's my desire... 16:33 To live for Him 16:49 Beautiful. Amen. 16:51 Absolutely beautiful song. 16:53 And great job Brother Tim Parton. 16:56 That song goes back but I'm surprised that 16:59 when it came out, 17:01 I'm grown and everything else 17:03 and don't think anything about it. 17:05 Tim just said it hit me. 17:06 When I was a kid I learned this and I'm like, "Wait a minute." 17:09 You were a kid when that song come out 17:11 'cause like I had a family when it was, 17:13 you know, but he was a kid when that song come out. 17:16 I have been singing that since I was a kid 17:17 and I'm like, "What?" 17:19 I forget how young you are, Tim. 17:21 And I apparently do too, I'm sorry. 17:23 That has nothing to do with your looks, 17:25 I'm not saying you look old or anything like that. 17:27 Now how do I get out of this, Yvonne? 17:30 Then is it too late to get out of... 17:31 Jump to the next song. Go to the next song. 17:34 I tell you what I'll do, I feel so bad about saying this 17:37 and maybe have been taken wrong in anyway, 17:40 whatever I don't know how it would be, 17:42 but I think just for that 17:43 we should let him play another song. 17:44 Okay, all right. Great idea. 17:47 Maybe call punishment by some people but it's not for Tim, 17:50 because what an incredible talent. 17:51 Just anything that you want to play 17:53 and we're going to be happy about it. 17:54 Okay. All right. 20:49 Amen. Amen. 20:50 You know what I think we should do 20:52 'cause most of our folks at home 20:53 would know that once you go back to the original key, 20:56 you start it out with unless you sing unison with that, 20:58 and the folks at home to sing, "I Come to the Garden Alone", 21:01 maybe just a little first verse or so, right? 21:04 Nice. 21:06 I come 21:07 To the garden alone 21:14 While the dew 21:17 Is still on the roses 21:23 And the voice 21:26 I hear falling 21:29 On my ear 21:33 The Son of God 21:37 Discloses 21:43 And He walks... 21:46 Sing it at home now. 21:47 With me, and He talks 21:51 With me 21:53 And He tells me I am 21:58 His own 22:02 And the joy we share 22:07 As we tarry there 22:13 None other 22:17 has ever known 22:28 Nice. Great. Wow. 22:30 Thank you so much. Isn't that beautiful? 22:33 What a beautiful song. 22:36 I was just ministered to by just every style 22:41 and every place you went... 22:43 Yes. 22:44 I was in the garden, then I was in Carnegie Hall. 22:48 And then I was in Radio City Music Hall. 22:50 But everywhere I went, it was this constant journey 22:53 of how beautiful the gift of music 22:55 is that God entrusted to us. 22:56 I mean, if music is this beautiful in this... 22:59 On earth. On earth. 23:01 Can you imagine? 23:02 I cannot imagine what it's 23:04 going to be like in the kingdom. 23:05 Yeah. 23:06 And to know that God has anointed you with that 23:08 and you know, that's it, I can't say, it's a gift. 23:10 I have to say it's an anointing. 23:11 Praise the Lord. 23:13 Because like you said, Danny, when it's a gift, 23:14 sometimes you'll write all the notes. 23:16 Now how do you write that down? 23:17 No, you don't. You don't write that down? 23:19 To God be the glory. 23:21 You don't write the anointing, anointing is a chosen. 23:22 Now, speaking of writing things down, 23:23 I'd like to hear a song that you've recently written. 23:25 Oh, that's right. Yeah. 23:27 I was going to bypass that after all of that but... 23:31 No way. 23:32 I had written a chorus a couple years ago 23:35 and just talking to the Lord one night by myself and just 23:38 "You've been good to me" and Lanny Wolfe heard it 23:40 and so he actually said to me 23:43 and of course, folks, I'm sure most of our folks are familiar. 23:47 If you're familiar with gospel music at all, 23:49 Lanny Wolfe have written so many tremendous songs. 23:51 He actually called me and said, well, if you want I'll 23:54 put some verses to that, you just have some choruses 23:56 and I'm like, absolutely, absolutely. 23:59 But it's literally brand new. 24:01 So I've never done it, this would be the first time. 24:03 I'm actually written the words down 24:05 because I did the music in the words to the chorus 24:10 and then he put the music in the words to the verses 24:13 and somehow he makes it all work out. 24:16 So I'm going to give it a whirl, 24:18 if I don't do so well, 24:19 we'll start over and I'll try again. 24:20 That's right. All right. 24:34 You've been good to me 24:40 through all years 24:44 You've been good to me 24:48 through joys and tears 24:54 I want to thank you Lord, 25:00 For all you've done 25:05 You've been good to me 25:09 through all the years 25:15 I was so lost, 25:19 Till you came and found me 25:24 I was so blind, 25:28 but now I see 25:33 I am so blessed, 25:37 Your love surrounds me 25:42 To thank you Lord 25:45 Will take eternity 25:53 For you've been good to me 25:58 Through all years 26:03 You've been good to me 26:07 Through joys and tears 26:12 I want to thank you Lord, 26:19 For all you've done 26:23 You've been good to me 26:28 Through all years 26:36 When I was weak, 26:40 Your strong arms carried me 26:45 When afraid I felt 26:49 Your hand in mine 26:54 Through all life's ups and downs 26:59 You were there for me 27:04 And with the grateful heart 27:07 I want to thank you Lord, 27:09 Just one more time 27:13 If you know it, sing it with me. 27:15 You've been good to me 27:19 Through all the years 27:23 You've been good to me. 27:24 You've been good to me 27:28 Through joys and tears. 27:30 Through joys and tears 27:33 I want to thank you Lord. 27:34 I want to thank you Lord 27:39 For all you've done 27:44 You've been good to me 27:49 through all the years 27:53 Does the Lord have been good to you today? 27:54 Oh, yes. 27:55 They have been good to you at home today. 27:57 I mean what a privilege 27:59 that we can serve a risen Savior. 28:00 Yes. 28:02 What a privilege that God would reach down 28:04 and use any of us. 28:07 I'm amazed through the last 32 years, 28:10 I've had my ups and downs. 28:12 You know, Danny, I'm thinking as you were singing. 28:14 There was a time not too long ago we were wondering, 28:16 whether you were going to speak again, let alone sing. 28:18 Yeah. 28:19 And we prayed and we prayed 28:21 and God has brought you back, man, 28:22 and we praise the Lord for that. 28:24 Well, He has. 28:25 And for the folks at home, 28:26 you know what I'm talking about, 28:28 but just think about it how good God is to us. 28:29 I can look back and personal things 28:32 and when you're a public figure a lot of times, 28:36 these are public, it becomes public. 28:39 I want to say information but a lot of times it's gossip, 28:41 you know, some things are true, some things aren't 28:44 but when I look back over all the years, 28:46 I wouldn't trade one thing. 28:48 I would not trade one thing and I'll take that to my grave. 28:51 Now I'm not saying we wouldn't try to do better 28:53 and improve on this, but if I knew 28:55 when the Lord told me in 1984, 28:58 I want you to build a television station 29:00 it would reach the world 29:01 with an undiluted three angel's messages 29:03 one that would counteract a counterfeit 29:05 and I could look down the stream of time 29:07 32 years later 29:09 knowing the ups and downs, I would still say... 29:13 You've been good to me... 29:15 Nice. All right. 29:19 Through all the years 29:21 Now I am going get through this one. 29:23 You've been good to me 29:27 through joys and tears 29:32 I want to thank, 29:35 I want to thank you Lord 29:38 Oh, for all you've done for me 29:43 Why? 29:44 Because you've been good to me 29:49 through all the years. 29:54 Yes, you've been 29:56 good to me 30:01 through all... 30:03 All my life actually 30:05 in the past 32 years. 30:11 Tell me a little bit, Yvonne, God's been good to you, 30:13 share me a little testimony for the folks at home? 30:17 As I listen to you, you know, I think the same thing, Danny. 30:21 I think that there is nothing that I would change 30:25 because God's had his hand in my life 30:27 the whole time, my whole life 30:30 and so though I've been through loss and pain 30:34 and just like everybody, everybody has a story 30:37 but we know that God's love will never let us go. 30:41 Okay. 30:43 We know that He will hold us and He will keep us 30:46 and if you are going through a really dark time right now, 30:51 just know that this too shall pass, 30:54 and that life does not stay the same 30:56 so don't lose hope, because God's got you 31:00 and He's not going to let you fall. 31:01 If you don't know Jesus Christ for yourself, 31:04 ask Jesus to come into your life. 31:07 Tell Him you're thankful for what He's done for you, 31:09 that He shed His blood for you 31:11 and ask Him to forgive you of your sins 31:14 and to change your life, and He will do that, 31:17 He will do that. 31:19 We are living testimonies of the gift of God. 31:23 So just hold on, know that He's not going to let you go 31:27 and know that He's always going to be good to you, 31:32 'cause that's who He is. 31:33 Amen. 31:34 And it won't take an eternity for us to understand that 31:38 literally at the second coming, 31:40 everything that you've gone through on this earth. 31:42 That's right. 31:43 My dad used to say won't amount to a hill of beans. 31:45 Right, that's kind of a country term 31:47 you've probably heard that, Tim. 31:48 But as soon as the eastern sky breaks 31:50 and you're able to see Jesus, you'll say... 31:53 You've been good to me 31:56 through all the years 32:02 You've been good to me 32:07 through joys and tears 32:13 I want to thank you Lord 32:19 for all 32:23 You've done 32:27 You've been good 32:30 To me 32:34 through all the years 32:40 You'll say that I promise you. 32:42 And right now no matter what's going on in your life, 32:46 just know that Jesus loves you. 32:48 He died for you, He made a plan of salvation for you, 32:52 He's coming back very soon in the clouds of glory. 32:55 And we all can say, God's been good to us. 32:57 CA, John, John, you give a little testimony, then, CA, 33:00 I want you to give yours through song. 33:02 All right. 33:04 I've taken up hobby little more than a year ago. 33:07 I try to do something new every year. 33:08 Okay. 33:10 And this year I actually, 2017 now. 33:13 In 2016-15, I decided to... 33:17 I like astronomy, not astrology, astronomy, 33:21 which is the study of the heavens 33:22 and study of the stars and planets. 33:24 At first I began by just looking at the internet 33:26 looking at different pictures the Horsehead Nebula, 33:29 the Orion Nebula, all these different things 33:31 then I found out, there was a program on the iPad 33:34 called a Redshift 33:35 and I downloaded that 33:37 and I became fascinated to find out 33:39 how short our lives are 33:42 and how much time God wants to give to us. 33:45 And so I put in a scenario 33:46 and which, how much more of the heavens 33:49 what I see if I live to be a 100, 33:53 and it astounded me. 33:55 They said, they'll do it in time lapse. 33:57 In other words, okay, 33:58 if you're gonna see this much more 34:00 it'll really swing, it only moved 34:02 like a quarter of an inch. 34:04 And I thought you mean if I live to be a 100 years old, 34:07 I will only get a chance to see a quarter of an inch more sky, 34:12 that's not even fair. 34:13 And then I began going to different planets 34:15 and different constellations, light years, you know, 34:20 500 light years away and I'm thinking that honey, 34:23 Angie said to me, "John, don't even tell me any more, 34:25 we're not going to live that long." 34:28 And we've been saying lately to each other... 34:30 No, we aren't gonna live that long. 34:31 So I said to honey, "Right now I've got eternity in the view. 34:35 There you go. 34:36 We have been messing around with earth 34:38 but God wants to take us to His playground. 34:40 Come on. 34:42 So when the heavens depart as a scroll and as you said, 34:44 all this down here would amount to a hill of beans, 34:47 so here's our new saying, 34:51 and we hold on to God's hand with a stern grip. 34:53 I love it. Amen. 34:55 Because He's been good, He's got more years 34:56 as you were saying, 34:57 and so He's been good to us all these years 34:59 and He's got eternity to give to us. 35:01 Okay. Yeah, that's good. 35:02 All right. Beautiful. That's true and true. 35:03 Dr. Murray? Praise the Lord. 35:05 God is good. 35:06 And He is insistent, incessant, persistent, 35:09 consistent, and He never lets us go. 35:12 Come on, come on. Amen. 35:25 O love that will not let me go 35:34 I rest my weary soul 35:38 in thee 35:42 I give thee back 35:45 the life I owe 35:50 That in thine ocean depths 35:55 its flow My richer, 35:59 fuller be 36:16 O Cross that liftest up my head 36:25 I dare not ask to fly 36:29 from thee 36:33 I lay in dust life's glory dead 36:42 And from the ground there blossoms red 36:49 Life that shall end 36:55 Endless be. 37:36 Amen. Amen. 37:37 Beautiful, beautiful. 37:39 Why did you pick that song today? 37:40 That's beautiful song. 37:41 I'm just thinking about when you were talking, 37:45 right now your brother is going through some medical stuff. 37:47 Yes. 37:48 And I went through that same medical stuff. 37:51 And the fact that, you know, 37:52 we were in Sabbath school the other day and they said, 37:54 "Look back to life and see 37:55 if you really have had a hard life?" 37:58 And I think about where I grew up in my family 38:01 and I've gone through cancer, and gone through six bypasses, 38:03 and had a dozen eye operations, 38:06 and been blind for a period of time. 38:08 And you're still here. 38:09 But I'm still here, as I look back I cannot say 38:12 my life has been that hard. 38:13 No. 38:15 Because God has been that good. Yes. 38:17 You know and we've gone through stuff 38:19 You know and we've gone through stuff 38:20 but I got stuff, you got stuff... 38:22 Yeah, there you go. All God's children... 38:23 God's stuff. 38:25 God's stuff but we also got Jesus. 38:26 Amen. 38:27 And as long as you've got Jesus, 38:29 you got all you need. 38:30 So when I look back, hadn't been that bad. 38:32 No. 38:33 And the future is real bright, pastor. 38:34 That's right. 38:36 They said, the retirement plan is out of this world. 38:37 Amen. 38:38 So you're when this is over, 38:41 Yeah. All right, there you go. 38:45 but it's a beautiful song. 38:46 Oh, you will. Pastor John? 38:48 We talk about trials, in this life 38:50 you know, there's a text in the Bible. 38:52 There is so many texts about trials but this says, 38:54 "Through much tribulation 38:55 we will enter the kingdom of heaven." 38:56 And I wish we would just through tribulation, 38:59 but it's through much. 39:00 And if you've been around any length of time you know, 39:03 that you've been through a lot of tribulation and you say, 39:04 "Lord, thank you for not showing me 39:06 two years from now", 39:08 because if we anticipate the future sometimes 39:09 it's too great for us to even in anticipation to say, 39:12 "What do we do to prepare for the next trial?" 39:15 And I remember when Pastor CA once said, he said, 39:17 "If you haven't been through it, just wait. 39:19 It's coming." That's right. 39:20 But in every one of those I've discovered something, 39:23 even the silence of God does not equal the absence of God. 39:26 That's right. Amen. 39:28 And I also said when you go through difficulty, 39:30 who do you tell? 39:31 And I've discovered Tim, Danny, Yvonne, CA, 39:35 there's nobody better to tell than to tell Jesus. 39:37 Amen. 39:38 Some will walk us back through a song, 39:40 "I must tell Jesus all of my trials, 39:43 I cannot bear my burdens alone." 39:46 If you know this song, you can hum along with me 39:48 or you can sing in your home or with your family, 39:50 we're going to sing the song together. 39:51 I'll do the choruses and you, guys, 39:53 come with me on the verses. 39:54 I mean, I do the verse, you do the chorus, 39:56 and we'll praise the Lord together, 39:57 "I must tell Jesus". 40:10 I must tell Jesus 40:15 all of my trials 40:19 I cannot bear 40:22 these burdens alone 40:29 In my distress 40:32 He kindly will help me 40:38 He ever loves 40:41 and cares for His own 40:47 I must tell Jesus! 40:52 I must tell Jesus! 40:57 I cannot bear 41:00 my burdens alone 41:06 I must tell Jesus! 41:11 I must tell Jesus! 41:16 Jesus can help me, 41:21 Jesus alone 41:26 I must tell Jesus 41:30 all of my troubles 41:35 He is a kind, 41:39 compassionate Friend 41:45 If I but ask Him 41:50 He will deliver 41:54 Make of my trials 41:59 quickly an end 42:04 I must tell Jesus! 42:09 I must tell Jesus! 42:14 I cannot bear my 42:18 burdens alone 42:23 I must tell Jesus! 42:28 I must tell Jesus! 42:33 Jesus can help me, 42:38 Jesus alone 42:51 All right, praise the Lord. 42:53 What a beautiful song. 42:54 Even if we didn't get to practice it very much, 42:57 I hope that folks at home are singing so loud, 42:59 they don't hear little issues with us here. 43:02 So hopefully you've been singing along with us. 43:05 But this is just a... 43:06 today is just a wonderful day to praise the Lord. 43:08 Amen. 43:09 And you know, we have guests sometimes 43:11 and we talk about things and behind the scenes 43:12 and do all sorts of things 43:14 and world travels of what's happening around the world 43:17 with 3ABN but today we say, 43:18 why don't we just enjoy this with the folks at home. 43:21 And I think it's really been good. 43:23 I know I've been blessed because we felt anointing 43:26 with the Holy Spirit. 43:28 No one here can bless each other 43:29 and no one can bless you, 43:31 but the Holy Spirit's what blesses you so 43:32 when you get in the mood as they say to say, 43:35 "Okay, Lord, I'm here to praise you." 43:38 Watch what God does. Yes. 43:39 Watch the doors that He opens. 43:40 I had a friend of mine years ago I grew up with, 43:42 he was a Pentecostal, Roy Gross is his name. 43:45 Some of our viewers will know him bass singer, 43:46 a beautiful voice. 43:48 And no matter where he went to church, 43:50 I went to him in his Pentecostal church 43:52 and he just said upfront, 43:53 "Praise the Lord." 43:54 And one day I invited him to come to our Adventist church 43:57 a little more conservative. 43:59 He sat up front and peoples 44:00 much more quieter as White Church, CA, 44:02 much more quieter. 44:04 And he was still, praise the Lord, 44:06 praise you, thank you Jesus. 44:08 And so I thought well, he's not going to really, 44:10 he's used to this, all of this you know. 44:12 And after church was over he said, 44:15 "Man, I've never felt the Holy Spirit 44:17 any better than I felt in that church. 44:20 I'm telling you this church, the Holy Spirit was there 44:22 and it occurred to me, because it was with him. 44:24 Yes. 44:25 He came there to praise the Lord, 44:27 so he wasn't worried about somebody else did or didn't do, 44:29 did this person, are they saying amen? 44:31 Can I say something? 44:32 He just does the same as no matter where he is... 44:35 Amen. Praise the Lord. 44:36 So that's what happened today. 44:38 We're just here praising the Lord. 44:39 Amen. 44:41 Yvonne, you got a song that 44:44 I think we have time, yeah, we do. 44:45 We have time for you to do it, but tell us a little bit 44:47 about the song you chose it today. 44:49 You know, this past week I was out in California 44:53 with Yolanda Palmer 44:56 and we were working on some scripture songs. 44:58 And they're doing this wonderful project 45:02 and it was really a blessing. 45:03 And she and I started talking about, 45:05 where we were in the world 45:07 and the things we used to do 45:08 and the money that we were making, 45:10 but the emptiness that went along with it. 45:13 And we wouldn't trade where we are now 45:17 walking with the Lord for anything. 45:19 So as we think about the lyrics to the song like all the money, 45:24 all the whatever it is we had, 45:25 all the accoutrements of wealth 45:27 and all that, it doesn't amount to anything. 45:31 And all that we have now, 45:33 we just want to surrender it all to Jesus. 45:36 Amen. 45:37 So this song has particular meaning for us, 45:39 and I hope it does to you as well. 45:56 All to Jesus 46:02 I surrender 46:06 All to Him 46:10 I freely give 46:16 I will ever love 46:22 and trust Him 46:26 In His presence 46:30 daily live 46:35 I surrender 46:40 All 46:44 I surrender all 46:52 All to Thee, 46:56 my blessed Savior 47:02 I surrender all 47:14 All to Jesus 47:18 I surrender 47:22 Humbly at His feet 47:28 I bow Worldly pleasures 47:34 all forsaken 47:39 Take me, Jesus, 47:42 take me now 47:47 I surrender all 47:55 I surrender all 48:03 All to Thee, 48:06 my blessed Savior 48:11 I surrender all 48:19 I surrender all 48:26 I surrender all 48:34 All to Thee, 48:37 my blessed Savior 48:42 I surrender all 48:50 All to Thee, 48:55 my blessed Savior 49:03 I surrender 49:14 All 49:33 Amen. Beautiful. Thank you, Yvonne. 49:36 I'm thinking about our folks at home, 49:37 our viewers at home, 49:39 and maybe you've not really surrendered 49:42 to the Lord Jesus Christ. 49:44 I've been amazed over the years 49:46 and at the people that have... 49:49 I remember a pastor came here once. 49:51 He said, I really want to talk to you. 49:53 He was from a neighboring state. 49:55 He said, I've been a pastor for 34 years. 49:59 I retired this past year but I never knew Jesus 50:03 till I started watching 3ABN this past year. 50:05 Wow. He was too busy. 50:07 He said, I was just too busy in my own life 50:09 and in my own world to really watch. 50:11 You know, I've heard of 3ABN but never really watched it. 50:14 But after all of these years, I surrendered my life to Jesus. 50:19 Now that almost to some of us would seem impossible. 50:22 He'd say, he made that up, I could've made that up. 50:25 I wouldn't even have thought it, 50:26 but I think about the Sabbath school teacher, 50:29 Sunday school teachers, the pastors, 50:31 no matter what church you are, 50:33 deacons, elders, 50:35 today it would be a good time to look at our life 50:37 and maybe just stop for a minute 50:39 and say Lord, "Where am I?" 50:40 Yes. 50:42 Where am I in relationship to you? 50:44 Have I surrendered my everything, 50:47 my all to you? 50:48 Have I submitted and committed my life to Jesus? 50:52 Because we're so busy working for the Lord 50:54 and those in ministry, folks watching in ministry, 50:58 no matter what that ministry is. 51:01 Are you too busy working for the Lord 51:02 to really have a relationship with the Lord? 51:05 Are you too busy in what you're doing 51:08 to hear the voice of the Lord? 51:10 But it all starts in surrender. 51:13 Without surrendering to Jesus, 51:18 it's all in vain the work that we do. 51:19 That's right. 51:21 Why don't we just sing the chorus again, Yvonne, 51:22 "I Surrender All" just do the chorus. 51:25 I surrender all 51:33 I surrender all 51:42 All to Thee, 51:45 my blessed Savior 51:51 I surrender all 51:58 All to Thee. 52:00 All to Thee, 52:04 my blessed Savior 52:10 I surrender all 52:34 Amen. 52:36 We're going to take a short break 52:37 and we'll be right back. |
