01:07 Hello, and welcome to another 3ABN Today program.
01:10 Thank you for joining us
01:12 as always, and I'm so happy today
01:14 that I have as my co-host here, Brother Tim Parton.
01:17 Tim, it's so great to have you here.
01:19 It's always a privilege to be with you,
01:21 I love your smile, I like your attitude.
01:23 You're ready to go.
01:25 I like that.
01:26 Oh, I see, I think you need a raise,
01:27 but we're too poor to give anything so.
01:29 No, friend, I don't need a raise,
01:31 I truly, I mean that.
01:32 I appreciate and love you, and we love you at home.
01:35 Thank you for your love, and your prayers,
01:36 and financial support of 3ABN
01:39 as we endeavor to take this great gospel of the kingdom
01:42 into all the world.
01:43 And one of the ways
01:44 we can do that is through music.
01:46 Yeah.
01:47 Now, everybody is not a Tim Parton,
01:49 but you can do something
01:50 and God has gifted everyone of us,
01:53 and really people say,
01:54 well, I can't do this and I can't do that,
01:56 but we can.
01:58 We can communicate.
01:59 We can let people know how much we care about them.
02:02 We can show them by our actions.
02:04 If we're too bashful to talk, people can just see us,
02:07 you know, that's what Daniel you remember
02:08 and Hebrew children back down, he went and prayed,
02:11 he left the doors open,
02:12 even though they said
02:14 you can't pray anymore to your God,
02:15 he did it and his action showed that he was a Christian,
02:18 who he really served, he served the great God of the universe.
02:22 Right.
02:23 But music is something
02:25 that's universal language as they say.
02:28 And, so I'm always glad to be here with Tim.
02:30 Now we did a program a few weeks ago.
02:32 Yes.
02:33 And we got a lot of request to do some more.
02:36 One of my friend said, well, I got some requests
02:38 but I'm gonna sing anyway.
02:40 So when Tim Parton is on so
02:42 if you like these type of programs,
02:44 write into 3ABN, email, call and say,
02:46 hey, we like it,
02:47 doesn't necessarily have to be me here,
02:49 but somebody with Tim, and we got of lot of other folk
02:51 and we're gonna be doing more of that.
02:53 Yeah.
02:54 But a few weeks ago, Tim,
02:55 we started out and we mentioned,
02:57 now our programs aren't planned
02:58 as you gonna be able to tell here
03:00 in a little bit,
03:01 but we just sit down and say, how about,
03:03 do you know this old song or that one,
03:05 and then we sit down and try to do them.
03:07 But we talked about when we were young
03:10 and our folks are raising a child,
03:12 the Bible says, in a way he should go
03:13 and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
03:16 And Tim Parton family, the Parton family.
03:20 Right. And...
03:21 My sisters would love that. Yeah.
03:23 The Tim Parton family,
03:25 because that's what my older sister thought
03:26 it was anyway.
03:27 Yeah, that's right.
03:29 So the Parton family,
03:30 you actually had a group together
03:31 and you made a record.
03:33 Yes.
03:34 Now, lot of the folks,
03:36 young folks don't know what records
03:37 are but they're vinyl, you know.
03:39 They're big Frisbee looking thing, it's flat.
03:41 Big ones and I think,
03:42 you have one and I ask you to bring it today
03:45 and show it to us, so maybe we can...
03:46 Yeah, show and tell.
03:48 Show and tell,
03:49 that's absolutely, hold that upright.
03:50 Right.
03:52 This is a thing we did,
03:53 an album we did back in '76 I believe.
03:56 Yeah. 1976.
03:58 Wow.
03:59 My family, of course, I was from Kansas City
04:02 and so we would travel down the Springfield, Missouri,
04:04 you know, studio down there called American Artist
04:07 I think it was.
04:08 Yeah, American Artist.
04:09 And we had all studio musicians...
04:12 Hold that up, Parton, I wanna see who that little guy
04:14 who is in middle there.
04:16 Oh, yeah, this little fellow down here.
04:17 And if we can get a good look, we'll see his feet.
04:19 Yeah, Yvonne thought that was so cute,
04:21 she said look at him standing there.
04:22 Yeah.
04:24 Some people would say, oh, poor little fellow,
04:25 wonder what's wrong with him...
04:26 No, that was Tim.
04:28 But I was just, I was six years old there,
04:31 and I didn't know any better,
04:33 I was just proud to be on the picture.
04:35 Absolutely, now introduce us to the rest of the folk.
04:37 And then my mom, and my dad, and my older sister,
04:42 and then a friend of ours Diane,
04:43 she played the piano back then.
04:45 Okay.
04:46 So that was, like I say '76, my mom made our clothes,
04:50 and we traveled, we sang
04:52 probably four, five times a week actually.
04:54 We were very busy back then singing
04:57 and that's where I learned how to play.
05:00 I started playing actually a couple of years after that,
05:03 I didn't play on this album,
05:05 I only sang one song in fact on this album,
05:07 they didn't want me to steal the show
05:09 at such an early age, get a big head.
05:13 But, yeah, just good memories and that's what I love about
05:19 being raised in a Christian family,
05:21 and then having an opportunity to raise your children
05:24 in a God honoring atmosphere and in church,
05:29 that's, that's, what a privilege
05:30 to be part of that.
05:32 But I thought it would really be good today,
05:33 maybe have you do a couple of those songs,
05:34 then actually play us the real thing.
05:37 Right.
05:38 'Cause we want to hear Tim,
05:40 I think you're going to be singing a song
05:41 with your sister, right?
05:42 Right, exactly. And in fact, you know what?
05:44 Why not just do it? Let's just do it.
05:45 We're talking about it.
05:46 We got it here, tell us
05:48 what song you're gonna be singing?
05:49 This song is called "Let my Light Shine"
05:51 and it's me and my older sister,
05:53 I keep on saying that older sister,
05:55 but anyway so she is but...
05:57 I mean, she's singing melody?
05:59 She's singing melody, I'm singing harmony...
06:00 At six years old you're singing harmony.
06:02 At six years old. Right?
06:03 Now did you take read music, take music for that?
06:06 No, no, no. You just heard it?
06:07 I just, I heard it like I mentioned last time...
06:09 Yeah.
06:10 I was singing harmony before I was actually speaking words,
06:13 I was just humming harmony.
06:15 That's amazing, so...
06:16 Yeah.
06:17 Why don't we listen to Tim Parton and the Partons.
06:22 This is good.
06:28 Let my light shine in the night time
06:35 Let it shine
06:38 All day through
06:42 Let it shine
06:45 Shine for Jesus
06:48 Let it shine, let it shine on you
06:56 This little light of mine
07:00 I'm gonna let it shine
07:03 This little light of mine
07:05 Yeah.
07:06 I'm gonna let it shine
07:09 This little light of mine
07:12 Kind of sounds like the Partridge family too,
07:14 that was Partons and Partridge.
07:15 I'm gonna let it shine
07:17 Let it shine, let it shine
07:20 That's good. That's good.
07:24 You know, back then. That's incredible.
07:26 And, of course, you know, we were kids
07:29 and nowadays we would try to tune that,
07:34 you know, they have editing software
07:36 where you can get all the glitches out,
07:39 but we probably did that in one take
07:41 and it was done, you know.
07:43 Yeah, we musicians too,
07:45 'cause they did really in '70s
07:47 they were starting to do some editing
07:48 but basically like what we did I think
07:52 with Tommy and Kay we did a album
07:54 and first one that we did,
07:56 we actually did it at our own church
07:58 and then had a company in Cincinnati press it.
08:01 Okay.
08:02 But there was no editing any musicians, singers,
08:07 you had to do it right or stayed on
08:09 or you just had to keep redoing.
08:10 Yeah.
08:12 So, but, now that sounds great and you've got great pitch,
08:14 I mean, you were six years old, that's amazing.
08:16 It was fun.
08:17 Your sister too, about how old was she?
08:19 She would have been six years older.
08:21 Okay. So she's 12.
08:22 Yeah, thank you, thanks for doing the math.
08:24 All right, and you did some others...
08:26 Right, yeah.
08:27 There were some other great songs
08:29 on this album.
08:30 "When I Wake Up to Sleep No More"
08:32 and here's a song that we did farther along.
08:37 All right. Do you know that one?
08:38 I know that from a long time ago...
08:40 Well.
08:41 But we can try it
08:43 if you're going to do it and what key, keying D.
08:44 Well, let's do it in D. Yeah, that's might as well.
08:46 All right, let's do something simple,
08:47 we'll just do a little bit of it.
08:49 Okay.
08:50 I'll start out an intro and then we'll sing it.
08:52 Okay, and I'll do the melody.
08:54 Yeah. Okay.
09:05 Tempted and tried
09:09 We're oft made to wonder
09:16 Why it should be thus
09:22 All the day long
09:27 While there are others
09:32 Living about us
09:38 Never molested
09:44 Though in the wrong
09:49 Farther along
09:53 We'll know all about it
10:00 Farther along
10:04 We'll understand why
10:11 Cheer up my brother
10:17 Live in the sunshine
10:22 We'll understand it
10:28 All by and by
10:30 One more verse when we see Jesus.
10:32 Yeah, okay.
10:34 When we see Jesus
10:39 Coming in glory
10:43 Sign it at home.
10:45 When he comes down from his
10:50 Home in the sky
10:56 Then we shall meet him
11:01 In that bright mansion
11:07 We'll understand it
11:12 All by and by
11:16 Sing it now.
11:18 Farther along
11:22 We'll know all about it
11:29 Farther along
11:33 We'll understand why
11:40 Cheer up my brother
11:46 Live in the sunshine
11:52 We'll understand it
11:57 All by and by
12:01 You wanna play it a little bit?
12:02 I don't know, let's see, let me...
12:04 I'll try to play it like my dad
12:05 would have played it, all right.
12:07 Okay.
12:08 Ready? I'm ready.
12:17 And you get a little...
12:19 Yeah, hammer that.
12:32 Nice.
12:34 I love it.
12:36 That takes us way back.
12:38 That does, and so,
12:39 your dad played the guitar, right?
12:40 Yeah, he played the rhythm and played little bit of lead,
12:42 even played a little bit of lead.
12:44 Is that were you learned to play?
12:45 I learned 'cause I wanted,
12:47 you know, kids want to be like the dads
12:49 and so my mother played piano, and my dad played guitar.
12:53 And my brother Ronny, he ended up
12:55 when he's real young trying to play
12:57 a base and end up playing base,
12:59 and my brother Kenny played little guitar.
13:01 Right.
13:02 And of course, Tommy was really good on the...
13:03 He's only one that's real musician
13:05 and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do,
13:07 I tried to do little bit of everything
13:09 and ended up not being good at any one thing...
13:10 No, don't say that.
13:12 But at least,
13:13 you know, doing lot of different things,
13:14 enjoying things in life.
13:16 Right.
13:17 I love that style
13:19 and that pose totally takes me back.
13:20 Yeah, it does.
13:21 And yeah, but it's clean
13:23 and I like that,
13:25 I love that guitar, that's a nice guitar.
13:27 It's an old classical, it's about a 1965 Martin
13:31 and it's actually a classical guitar,
13:33 they didn't make too many Martin guitars,
13:36 and this got the wider neck and it's more sphere,
13:38 maybe for a little Spanish sounds
13:40 and all that.
13:41 But I played once in a while and we put little pickup in it
13:44 so you can plug it and play it,
13:45 you know, with electric but it's fun.
13:47 It's good. Yeah.
13:48 And I've written several songs on this guitar, I'll tell you,
13:50 just sat around in evening and night.
13:52 But I have something
13:54 that it's not professionally done like yours...
13:56 Right.
13:58 But my dad, we had little reel to reel,
13:59 some of you're old enough,
14:00 if you remember the little reel to reel recorders
14:02 that laid flat.
14:03 And my uncle Olen, they had 12 kids,
14:05 and we had five and my Uncle Brad had eight.
14:08 And a lot of times on Sabbath or Sabbath afternoon
14:11 we get to each other's house
14:13 and usually go over to Uncle Olen's
14:14 or my folk's house.
14:16 And they just turn on recorders and different kids they'd say,
14:19 hey, you sing this song, you sing that one,
14:22 and why don't we sing
14:23 some kind of like we're doing here today.
14:25 Right, sure.
14:26 Why don't we just try something together
14:27 and so I found a CD, it wasn't the CD,
14:31 of course reel to reel,
14:32 but my brother put it on a CD
14:34 and send it to me and he said,
14:36 this is you singing
14:37 "Have faith, hope, and charity."
14:39 Now I think the last program you and I did...
14:41 Yeah.
14:42 I kind of have faith, hope, and charity.
14:44 And I think Dale Evans, and Roy Rogers sing it.
14:46 Right.
14:48 I'm not sure who wrote it,
14:49 I think Mr. Cornell had wrote it,
14:50 but anyway that's the song,
14:52 and of all songs and I hadn't realized it
14:54 but so it's actually on tape.
14:55 Right.
14:57 Now my mother back in '40s and early '50s
15:00 and my dad they slur, no, when you sing.
15:04 So I haven't realized it seven years old
15:06 I heard myself and I say,
15:08 what am I doing kind of slurring the words,
15:09 you know...
15:11 Imitating them, yeah, it's what you hear.
15:12 Yeah, you just, you become what you behold.
15:13 Right.
15:15 But this is just a little clip recorded right at the house,
15:18 I think my dad is just playing little rhythm guitar
15:21 and I'm singing
15:22 "Have faith, hope, and charity".
15:23 Great. Let's hear it.
15:25 This is my little cousin Danny, age seven.
15:27 He's going to sing
15:28 "Have faith, hope and charity".
15:31 Have faith, hope and charity
15:36 That's the way to live successfully
15:40 How do I know, the Bible tells me so
15:46 Be good to your enemies
15:50 The Blessed Lord will surely please
15:54 How do I know, the Bible tells me so
16:00 Don't worry about tomorrow
16:05 Just be good today I know the Lord will bless you
16:12 And guide you on your way
16:15 All the Bible says have faith, hope and charity
16:21 That's the way to live successfully
16:25 How do I know, the Bible tells me so
16:31 That is great.
16:32 You know, that reminds me of the Little Rascals.
16:35 Oh, yeah. I can just see you...
16:36 Absolutely.
16:38 Oh, my goodness, that is such a great.
16:39 Absolutely, now this was done about
16:41 almost 20 years before yours
16:42 'cause you weren't even thought of in 1958, right?
16:45 Right.
16:47 You know, you were just way down
16:48 the road from that.
16:50 Way down from that. Yeah.
16:51 But you know, this impacts young people
16:54 because you're raised in a house
16:56 and everybody doesn't have
16:57 to be good musicians or great singers,
16:59 but the idea that you're doing something together as family...
17:02 Right.
17:03 And then the songs that you do are praising the Lord.
17:06 Now a couple years ago two or three years ago,
17:09 you were with the Brady Trio
17:12 and you did a CD and it's beautiful,
17:15 and I love the arrangement of,
17:16 it says, you may ask me how I know.
17:19 Yeah. My God is real.
17:21 Well, I grew up here and I think the first song
17:24 I ever remember my mom and dad doing is a duet,
17:28 and they didn't travel to a lot of churches,
17:30 but actually when before they were Christians,
17:34 my dad had a radio program with a country band.
17:37 And I think for almost five years
17:38 in West Frankfort area near Southern Illinois
17:41 but they did country music.
17:43 But after he became a Christian he would,
17:45 my mother in 1951, and my father in 1954,
17:50 they didn't really travel around in churches
17:52 or be like the Partons and doing album or anything.
17:55 But, you know, at our own church
17:56 or somebody would say,
17:58 hey, come and sing somewhere, they would,
17:59 but they sang gospel music
18:01 and I found the little clip of them
18:04 that's on old reel to reel and they're doing that song.
18:07 And the title, actual title of it is what?
18:10 His Hand in Mine. His Hand in Mine.
18:11 Yeah. Let's hear it.
18:13 Okay, and we'll do maybe just a verse and chorus of that.
18:14 Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, good.
18:27 You may ask me how I know
18:32 My God is real
18:38 You may doubt the things I say
18:42 And doubt the way I feel
18:49 But I know he's real today
18:54 He'll always be
18:59 I can feel his hand in mine
19:03 And that's enough for me
19:10 I will never walk alone
19:15 He holds my hand
19:20 He will guide each step I take
19:24 And if I falter, he will understand
19:31 Till the day he tells me why
19:36 He loves me so
19:41 I can feel his hand in mine
19:45 That's all I need to know
19:49 Okay. That is so good.
19:51 So you just turn the tape recorder on
19:54 and whatever happens just happen
19:56 'cause there's no editing,
19:57 there's no going back and recording it so.
19:59 Right.
20:00 I'm sure today if we could go back
20:01 and fix some of those things, we would.
20:03 Right.
20:04 But it's really neat like my father died in 1974,
20:07 so just to hear his voice like that and my mother in '99
20:11 to hear them singing, it takes me back.
20:15 And really that's the foundation
20:17 that I have here,
20:20 I'm right at 66 years old,
20:23 and that foundation is still there for me today.
20:27 I still look back at my parents
20:30 and my dad especially had so much wisdom,
20:33 he had commonsense,
20:34 and today would seems to be something
20:36 that's disappearing.
20:38 Dying commodity.
20:39 Yeah, it's a commodity for sure.
20:41 But I think of things that I do
20:43 and decisions I make in ministry
20:45 and even in business,
20:47 though he didn't really have a big business at all.
20:50 We were very poor, he was disabled at 36 years old
20:53 with a heart attack
20:55 and couldn't really work much after that.
20:57 These principles and these foundations
21:00 are what I really live on here today.
21:03 And I think back to these songs, it was so neat,
21:05 I just heard this the other night,
21:06 hadn't heard it in years.
21:08 But you may ask me how I know...
21:09 Yeah. I love that.
21:11 It's beautiful and then why don't you sing
21:12 just a little bit of that for me?
21:14 I'm not sure if I know, I'll play it here.
21:16 Okay.
21:58 I will never walk alone
22:02 He holds my hand
22:08 And he will guide each step I take
22:12 And if I fall
22:15 I know he will understand
22:20 Till the day he tells me why
22:26 He loves me so
22:31 Sing it.
22:32 I can feel his hand in mine
22:36 That's all I need to know
22:50 That's beautiful.
22:53 The second verse is pretty,
22:55 I'm not sure I know all the words
22:56 but it says something like...
22:58 Other friends may never know
23:05 The pain I bear
23:11 Other friends may never see or something
23:17 The heartache
23:18 And I forget the words, do you know them?
23:20 No, I don't. It's beautiful.
23:21 Other friends
23:22 it's basically may never see the pain,
23:25 they'll never see the teardrops in my eyes,
23:28 but they'll, God does.
23:30 Yeah.
23:31 God sees it,
23:32 so no matter what happens I reach out,
23:35 His hand is there and His hand is in mine.
23:38 I may falter but I'll never fail,
23:41 because Jesus holds my hands.
23:44 You may ask me how I know
23:51 My God is real
23:56 You may doubt the things I say
24:01 Or doubt the way I feel
24:08 But I know He's real today
24:14 He'll always be
24:20 I can feel His Hand in mine
24:25 And that's enough for me
24:32 Yeah.
24:33 Well, some of those old songs.
24:35 Wonderful, you know, there's another song
24:37 that I love "Never Grow Old."
24:42 Oh, yeah. Do you know that one?
24:43 You remember that one?
24:44 Back in the air, those are songs again growing up,
24:46 I'm not sure even who wrote it,
24:47 but Never Grow Old we'll look it up
24:49 for another program
24:51 or maybe some of you can email us
24:52 and say, hey, I looked it up.
24:54 But the song Never Grow Old
24:56 that's one of my grandpa's favorite songs
24:59 and then at church I remember
25:01 this dear old saint named Jill Vineyard
25:04 and she was in her 80s,
25:06 and she was just not,
25:07 as all of us we get older and not what we're used to be
25:10 but she would get up and sing Never Grow Old.
25:13 And she was not a singer
25:15 but I was always so ministered to,
25:16 I was probably in my 20s, but I loved hearing her sing.
25:20 Why don't you sing it?
25:21 I have heard of a land
25:26 On the faraway strand
25:30 It's a beautiful home of the soul
25:38 It's built by Jesus on high
25:43 Where we never shall die
25:48 'Tis a land where
25:51 We'll never grow old
25:56 If you know how to sing it.
25:58 Never grow old
26:03 Never grow old
26:07 In the land where
26:10 We'll never grow old
26:17 Never grow old
26:20 Where we'll never grow old
26:26 In the land where
26:29 We'll never grow old
26:34 And there's another one, I like this song.
26:37 Soon we'll come to the end of life's journey
26:44 Okay, I remember that.
26:45 And perhaps
26:47 We'll never meet anymore
26:53 'Til we gather
26:56 In heaven's bright city
27:02 Far away on that beautiful shore
27:08 If we never meet again.
27:10 If we never meet again
27:14 This side of heaven
27:19 As we struggle
27:21 Through this world and its strife
27:27 There's another meeting place
27:31 Somewhere in heaven
27:35 By the side of the river of life
27:42 Where the charming roses...
27:44 Where the charming roses bloom
27:48 Forever
27:52 And where separation comes
27:56 No more
28:00 If we never meet again
28:04 This side of heaven
28:09 I will meet you
28:11 On that beautiful shore
28:17 Wow.
28:35 Absolutely beautiful. That's right.
28:37 You know, just in the last few weeks
28:40 that I've lost several people that are friends,
28:43 and people that have been dear to me,
28:45 and I've had a couple of people call,
28:48 and I'm actually gonna call them back just recently.
28:51 Someone just lost her mother, and someone lost their wife.
28:55 And I think a promise maybe
28:59 we should all as Christians say,
29:01 you know, what?
29:03 If we don't see each other when we're parting
29:04 or maybe just going over the family,
29:06 you're going to church somewhere you say,
29:08 hey, if we don't meet on this side of heaven,
29:11 I'll meet you on that beautiful shore.
29:12 Yeah.
29:13 And that's a promise,
29:15 and that's a promise for the kids
29:16 and their parents,
29:18 and recently I heard a parent who said,
29:21 they knew they were dying and they said,
29:23 all I want to know
29:24 is that I can meet you in heaven.
29:26 They will meet you basically on that beautiful shore,
29:30 and so, you know, that mean so much to us.
29:32 Think about it,
29:33 Jesus is coming soon one way or the other.
29:37 Right? Yeah.
29:38 Many of us today
29:39 it could be me, it could be you,
29:41 may be some of the viewers, we may not have tomorrow.
29:43 We may think we have the health right now.
29:45 We may think we got the world in our hands
29:48 and world by the tail as they say the old song,
29:51 but anything can happen,
29:53 so life is bit of fleeting moment.
29:56 And the Bible says in Job,
29:57 it says, "Man that is born of a woman
29:59 is few days, and full of trouble.
30:02 He cometh forth like a flower,
30:03 and is cut low and fleeth also as a shadow,
30:06 and continueth not till the heavens be no more."
30:10 I mean, you talk about humbling summary of life...
30:13 That's right.
30:14 Man is born of woman,
30:16 it's few days and full of trouble,
30:18 and we get so caught up in the things around us.
30:20 Maybe we think we're good at what we do,
30:22 or that we have this, or we have that,
30:24 or smarter than the guy next to us,
30:27 or we know something.
30:28 Hey, we're all in the same boat,
30:30 without Jesus, there is no hope for tomorrow.
30:33 Right.
30:35 Nothing, I can't imagine what it would be like,
30:37 it would be so depressing, especially getting up my age.
30:41 So think about it when you die that's all it was.
30:44 Whatever you did on this earth it's gone, it's there,
30:48 but to think that soon and very soon
30:51 when Jesus comes back in the clouds of glory.
30:54 It says, every eye shall see him
30:56 those appears to Him first,
30:58 everybody will see Him come back.
31:00 And those which are alive and remain,
31:03 those who are followers of Christ
31:05 shall be caught up together
31:07 to meet the Lord in the air,
31:09 and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
31:12 Yeah, and you know, a lot of us
31:14 are worried about getting our life insurance,
31:17 making sure we have our trust and all of that taking care of,
31:20 but no greater gift
31:22 than that we can give to our family
31:26 and our loved ones, our friends and saying,
31:29 I'll meet you on that other side
31:32 and we'll live together.
31:33 So we wanna, what we wanna do that we're singing,
31:35 we're having fun
31:37 but we want this to be a time of fellowship,
31:39 the time of prayer, the time of singing,
31:41 time of ministering
31:42 and maybe a song that we could do
31:44 and I think that's a name of your album
31:46 I saw a while ago,
31:47 "I Will Serve Thee."
31:48 Yeah.
31:50 Because that's a most important decision
31:51 you can make,
31:53 we can make on earth today
31:55 is to say that we will serve the Lord.
31:58 Do you want me to do the melody, and you...?
32:00 Yeah, we'll sing right here. Okay.
32:02 I will serve thee
32:08 Because I love thee
32:14 You have given life
32:20 To me
32:26 I was nothing
32:32 Before you found me
32:39 You have given life
32:45 To me
32:52 Heartaches
32:57 Broken pieces
33:03 Ruined lives are why
33:09 You died on Calvary
33:17 Your touch
33:21 Was what I longed for
33:28 You have given life
33:34 To me
33:40 You have given life
33:47 To me
33:53 Play a little bit of that, would you, Tim?
34:39 Heartaches
34:42 Broken pieces
34:48 Ruined lives are why
34:54 You died on Calvary
35:01 Your touch
35:04 Was what I longed for
35:11 You have given life
35:18 To me
35:25 Amen.
35:26 Thank you, Danny. Beautiful.
35:27 What a wonderful privilege to share those songs with you.
35:31 You are my wonderful musical friend
35:34 and a dear brother, I love you so much.
35:35 Thank you.
35:36 I love you and I appreciate you.
35:38 In fact, I love you so much
35:40 that I'm gonna let you do the rest of the program
35:42 'cause I'm doing too much and I love to hear,
35:45 and when I'm traveling and I got my iPhone,
35:48 even if it's on weekends and Tim Parton
35:50 is honored doing the Today program.
35:52 We always get Yvonne and me and we'll tune in...
35:55 Awesome.
35:57 And to hearing you
35:58 'cause we're so blessed by your music
36:00 and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
36:01 There is a lot of great musicians I mean,
36:03 Liberace who is a great piano player,
36:05 you know, you have all of these people
36:07 who are great artists
36:08 but what's missing
36:09 is an anointing of the Holy Spirit,
36:11 and God has blessed you with such an anointing.
36:13 So what we're gonna do today
36:14 'cause I can't wait
36:16 to hear what you're gonna do
36:17 the rest of the program,
36:19 but today we're gonna instead of waiting towards the end,
36:21 we're gonna go to a newsbreak,
36:23 and right after the newsbreak
36:25 you're gonna come back and be blessed
36:26 by Brother Tim Parton.
