11:29 No light in the darkness you see? 11:37 There's light for a look at the Savior 11:44 And life more abundant 11:48 And free 11:53 Turn your eyes 11:57 Upon Jesus 12:02 Look full 12:04 In His wonderful face 12:11 And the things of earth 12:15 Will grow strangely dim 12:22 In the light of His glory 12:28 And grace 12:36 Through death into life everlasting 12:44 He passed and we follow Him there 12:51 O'er us sin no more hath dominion 12:58 For more than conqu'rors we are! 13:09 Turn your eyes 13:12 Upon Jesus 13:17 Look full 13:18 In His wonderful face 13:25 And the things of earth 13:30 Will grow strangely dim 13:35 In the light of His glory 13:41 And grace 13:47 And I think you will love this special promise. 13:51 His Word shall not fail you 13:54 He promised 13:56 Just believe Him and all will be well 14:02 Then go to a world that is dying 14:09 His perfect salvation you want to tell! 14:17 Just turn your eyes 14:22 Upon Jesus 14:27 Look full 14:29 In His wonderful face 14:36 And the things of earth 14:39 Will grow strangely dim 14:47 In the light of His glory 14:53 And grace 16:03 Sing along. 16:05 All hail the power of Jesus' name! 16:08 Let angels prostrate fall 16:12 Bring forth the royal diadem 16:16 And crown Him Lord of all 16:22 Bring forth the royal diadem 16:27 And crown Him 16:29 Lord of all! 16:35 Let every tongue and every tribe 16:39 Responsive to His call 16:43 To Him all majesty ascribe 16:48 And crown Him 16:50 Lord of all to Him 16:55 All majesty ascribe 16:59 And crown Him 17:01 Lord of all! 17:12 Crown Him with many crowns 17:16 The lamb upon the throne 17:20 Hark! How the heav'nly anthem drowns 17:24 All music but its own! 17:28 Awake, my soul, and sing 17:32 Of Him who died for thee 17:36 And hail him as thy matchless King 17:41 Through all eternity 17:51 Crown Him the Lord of life 17:55 Who triumphed o'er the grave 17:59 And rose victorious in the strife 18:03 For those He came to save 18:07 His glories now we sing 18:11 Of Him who reigns on high 18:16 Who died eternal life to bring 18:20 And lives that death may die 18:25 He lives that death may die 18:40 Yes, He does. 18:42 He lives that death may die. 18:44 I love what the psalmist said, 18:47 "The Lord is my strength and shield. 18:49 I trust Him with all my heart. 18:52 He helps me and my heart is filled with joy. 18:55 I burst out in songs of thanksgiving." 18:59 It's a good thing to do. 19:02 If you find yourself bursting out with joy, 19:06 just sing along. 19:09 Joy that sustains you when everything fails 19:14 Comes from the Father in Heaven 19:18 Joy that will lift you to Heavenly realms 19:22 Comes from the Father in Heaven 19:26 He gives joy 19:31 Joyful of glory 19:33 Jesus is joy 19:34 Such joy 19:39 Oh, what a savior 19:41 Jesus is joy 19:49 Jesus was hanging on Calvary's tree 19:53 Sent from the Father in Heaven 19:57 He was dying so sinners like me could go free 20:02 A gift from the Father in Heaven 20:07 So if you are looking for this kind of joy 20:10 The gift has already been given 20:14 It's a peace that the winds of this world can't destroy 20:18 Salvation has come down from Heaven 20:23 He gives joy 20:27 Joyful of glory 20:29 Jesus is joy 20:31 Such joy 20:35 Oh, what a savior 20:37 Jesus is joy 20:39 Oh, what a savior 20:43 Jesus is joy 20:59 Do you know the joy of being forgiven. 21:03 You know, I received a phone call, 21:05 it was a voicemail 21:07 because I didn't recognize the number, 21:08 I let the phone ring and they left a message. 21:12 And it was some company offering me forgiveness 21:15 for a student loan. 21:18 And I would have been elated at that 21:22 because to be given the forgiveness 21:26 of any financial burden, 21:28 what a relief. 21:30 But I was never a student. 21:34 And so either this was just, they had the wrong number 21:38 or it was just a random voicemail 21:42 that they were leaving anybody so that they could... 21:45 I don't know what they were trying to prove. 21:47 But it was interesting to me, 21:50 have you ever been offered forgiveness 21:52 for something that you weren't guilty of having done 21:55 and so you didn't need the forgiveness. 21:57 Well, as Christians, we certainly, 22:00 there was a time when we stood full of blame 22:07 before the Lord and we needed forgiveness. 22:11 Everyday I have to go 22:13 and ask forgiveness from the Father 22:15 and the accuser of the brethren 22:19 as the Bible refers to Satan. 22:22 He is the type to give that phone call 22:25 even when you haven't done things 22:26 and he'll blame you for the things 22:28 that you did in the past 22:29 that are already unto the blood, 22:31 already forgiven. 22:34 And I like to keep that voicemail on my phone 22:37 just for times like that 22:38 and I go back to that voicemail and listen to it 22:41 and remind myself, I have no student loan, 22:45 I have no guilt 22:46 because before the Father I am blameless. 22:49 The Bible says, "There is therefore 22:50 now no condemnation..." 22:51 And I'm going to read that in a little bit. 22:53 But I'm going to first read this in Psalm 32 22:56 that talks about the joy of forgiveness. 23:00 And it says, "Blessed is the one 23:02 whose transgressions are forgiven..." 23:04 Do you mind if I put on my glasses right here. 23:06 "Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, 23:09 whose sins are covered. 23:11 Blessed is the one whose sin 23:12 the Lord does not count against them 23:14 and in whose Spirit is no deceit. 23:17 When I kept silent, 23:18 my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 23:22 For day and night your hand was heavy on me. 23:25 My strength was sapped as in the heat of summer, 23:28 then I acknowledged my sin to you 23:30 and did not cover up my iniquity. 23:32 And I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the Lord 23:36 and you forgave the guilt of my sin. 23:39 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you 23:41 while you may be found. 23:43 Surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. 23:46 You are my hiding place, 23:48 You will protect me from trouble 23:50 and surround me with songs of deliverance. 23:53 I will instruct you and teach you 23:54 in the ways you should go. 23:56 I will counsel you with my loving eye on you,'" 23:59 that's what the Lord says. 24:01 "Do not be the like the horse or the mule 24:03 which have no understanding, 24:05 but must be controlled by bit and bridle 24:07 or they will not come to you. 24:09 Many are the woes of the wicked, 24:12 but Lord's unfailing love surrounds the one 24:14 who trusts in him. 24:17 Rejoice in the Lord 24:18 and be glad, you righteous, 24:20 sing, all you who are upright in heart." 24:26 That's the joy of forgiveness. 24:29 So again, if the devil ever comes around 24:32 accusing you of sins that are already in the past. 24:37 Just, you can even delete that message if you want to. 24:40 I give you permission to delete that voicemail. 24:44 Here's the great little song about if you want joy, 24:48 just let Jesus come into your heart. 25:13 If you want joy, real joy 25:18 Wonderful joy 25:23 Let Jesus come in 25:28 Into your heart 25:33 If you want joy, real joy 25:38 Wonderful joy 25:42 Let Jesus come in 25:47 Into your heart 25:52 Your sin He'll wash away 25:57 Your night He'll turn today 26:02 Your life 26:05 He'll make over anew 26:12 If you want joy, real joy 26:18 Wonderful joy 26:23 Let Jesus come in 26:28 Into your heart 26:53 If you want joy, real joy 26:59 Wonderful joy 27:05 Let Jesus come 27:09 Into your heart 27:17 James says, "Dear, brothers and sisters, 27:20 when troubles of any kind come into your way, 27:23 consider an opportunity for great joy. 27:27 For you know that when your faith is tested, 27:29 your endurance has a chance to grow." 27:31 So let it grow, 27:33 for when your endurance is fully developed, 27:36 you will be perfect and complete, 27:38 needing nothing. 27:40 Isn't it great that every little that we go through, 27:43 God gives us an opportunity to grow. 27:45 He gives us an opportunity to develop that character 27:49 so that we can be more like Him. 27:50 Every little detail about our life, 27:54 God sees as an opportunity for us to be more Christ like. 27:58 I love that about the Lord 28:00 because He has our best intention 28:05 and our best purpose in mind 28:08 because He is making us like Him and for His glory. 28:12 You see from the top of my head to the sole of my feet, 28:17 I was born to serve Him and to give Him glory. 28:23 From the dust of the earth 28:29 My God created man 28:33 His breath gave man 28:38 A living soul 28:44 For God so loved this world 28:50 That He gave His only Son 28:55 And that is why 29:01 I love Him so 29:06 For I was made in His likeness 29:13 Created in His image 29:18 For I was born 29:23 To serve the Lord 29:29 And I can't deny Him 29:34 I will always walk beside Him 29:39 For I was born 29:45 To serve the Lord 29:57 These hands were made 30:00 To help my neighbor 30:06 My eyes were made 30:10 To read God's word 30:16 My feet were made 30:20 Just to walk in His footsteps 30:25 You seek my body 30:27 Is the temple of the Lord 30:34 For I was made in His likeness 30:40 Created in His image 30:45 For I was born 30:49 To serve the Lord 30:55 And I can't deny Him 31:01 I will always walk beside Him 31:06 For I was born 31:12 To serve the Lord 31:54 For I was born 32:01 To serve the Lord 32:08 Never forget your calling. 32:11 Whatever your job or your task is in life, 32:14 you were born ultimately to serve the Lord. 32:19 So as the Word says, "In everything you do, 32:22 do it as unto the Lord." 32:27 Amen. 32:29 I love the Book of Romans. 32:32 And Romans 8 talks about again that verse 32:37 that I made reference to while ago about... 32:39 There is therefore now no condemnations. 32:42 Starting in verse 1, I'm just going to read, 32:44 you can join along with me 32:45 if you have your Bible close by. 32:47 I'm in Romans 8 starting with verse 1, 32:51 "There is, therefore now no condemnation to them 32:53 which are in Christ Jesus, 32:55 who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 32:59 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus 33:02 hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 33:06 For what the law could not do 33:07 in that it was weak through the flesh. 33:10 God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh 33:14 and for sin condemned sin in the flesh. 33:18 That the righteousness of the law 33:19 might be fulfilled in us, 33:21 who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 33:24 For they that are after the flesh 33:26 do not mind the things of the flesh, 33:29 but they that are after the Spirit, 33:31 the things of the Spirit. 33:35 For they that are after the flesh 33:37 do mind the things is what it says of the flesh. 33:40 But they that are after the Spirit 33:42 the things of the Spirit. 33:44 For to be carnally minded is death, 33:46 but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 33:50 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: 33:53 for it is not subject to the law of God, 33:56 neither indeed can be. 33:58 So then they that are in the flesh 34:00 cannot please God. 34:01 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, 34:04 if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. 34:07 Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, 34:10 he is none of his. 34:12 And if Christ be in you, 34:13 the body is dead because of sin, 34:16 but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 34:19 But if the Spirit of him that raised up 34:20 Jesus from the dead dwell in you, 34:23 he that raised up Christ from the dead 34:25 shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit 34:28 that dwelleth in you. 34:30 Therefore, brethren, ye are debtors, 34:32 not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 34:35 For if you live after the flesh, 34:36 you shall die: but if through the Spirit 34:40 you do mortify the deeds of the body, 34:43 you shall live. 34:45 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, 34:47 they are the sons of God. 34:49 For you have not received 34:50 the Spirit of bondage again to fear, 34:52 but you have received the Spirit of adoption, 34:54 whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 34:57 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, 35:00 that we are the children of God: 35:01 And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, 35:05 and joint-heirs with Christ, 35:07 if so be that we suffer with him, 35:10 that we may also be glorified together." 35:13 And then over in... 35:16 See, let's go verse 31. 35:19 "What shall we say then to these things? 35:21 If God be for us, who can be against us?" 35:24 Verse 32, "He that spared not his own Son, 35:27 but delivered up for us all, 35:30 how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 35:35 Who shall lay anything to this charge of God's elect? 35:39 It is God that justifieth." 35:41 Verse 34, "Who is he that condemneth? 35:44 It is Christ that died, 35:46 yea rather, that is risen again, 35:48 who is even at the right hand of God, 35:51 who also maketh intercession for us. 35:54 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? 35:57 Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, 36:02 or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36:05 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long, 36:10 we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 36:13 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors 36:18 through Him that loved us. 36:20 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, 36:23 nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, 36:27 nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, 36:31 nor any other creature, 36:34 shall be able to separate us from the love of God, 36:37 which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." 36:40 Now I know that's a lot of scripture. 36:43 But I encourage you to wrap your head around that 36:48 to saturate your spirit in that, 36:51 that wonderful chapter, 36:53 it starts out, it says, "There is therefore now 36:55 no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." 36:59 And I love that verse, 31 says, 37:01 "What shall we say to these things? 37:03 If God is for us, who can be against us?" 37:06 What can separate us from the love of God. 37:09 Wow. 37:10 Do you remember the time that you couldn't say those words 37:15 before you gave your life to Him 37:20 and you may be watching 37:23 and that may be your predicament today. 37:28 I encourage you to give your life to Christ, 37:31 to trust Him as your Savior. 37:35 You won't have the answers immediately, 37:39 but He will begin to work on you as you read His Word 37:43 and as you pray to Him 37:45 and as you gather with fellow Christians, 37:47 fellowship with one another and begin to talk about Him 37:52 and share in your walk with the Lord. 37:58 And then you can say that you are, 38:00 you have entered into the haven of rest 38:02 and you'll be able to sing this song, 38:03 and these lyrics are so beautiful. 38:06 'Cause I remember the time 38:08 When my soul in sad exile 38:13 Was out on life's sea 38:18 So burdened with sin 38:22 And distressed 38:26 Till I heard a sweet voice 38:31 Saying "Make Me your choice" 38:37 And I entered 38:39 The "Haven of Rest"! 38:46 I've anchored my soul 38:52 In the "Haven of Rest" 38:56 I'll sail the wide seas 39:01 No more 39:06 The tempest may sweep 39:11 Over wild, stormy, deep 39:16 In Jesus 39:17 I'm safe evermore 39:25 I yielded myself 39:29 To His tender embrace 39:33 And faith taking 39:36 Hold of the Word 39:41 My fetters fell off 39:45 And I anchored my soul 39:50 The "Haven of Rest" 39:54 Is my Lord 40:00 The song of my soul 40:03 Since the Lord made me whole 40:07 Has been the old story so blest 40:14 Of Jesus 40:17 Who'll save whosoever will have 40:23 A home 40:25 In the "Haven of Rest" 40:32 I've anchored my soul 40:35 In the "Haven of Rest" 40:39 I'll sail the wide sea 40:44 No more 40:57 In Jesus I'm safe 41:02 Evermore 41:08 Now listen to this. 41:10 How precious the thought 41:12 That we all may recline 41:15 Like John, the beloved and blest 41:21 On Jesus' strong arm 41:24 Where no tempest can harm 41:29 Secure 41:30 In the "Haven of Rest" 41:37 Now here is the invitation. 41:40 Oh, come to the Savior 41:43 He patiently waits 41:47 To save by His power divine 41:53 Come, anchor your soul 41:57 In the "Haven of Rest" 42:02 And say 42:03 "My Beloved is mine" 42:10 And then you can say. 42:11 I've anchored my soul 42:16 In the "Haven of Rest" 42:21 I'll sail the wide sea 42:26 No more 42:31 The tempest may sweep 42:36 Over the wild, stormy, deep 42:41 In Jesus 42:44 I'm safe evermore 42:56 Maybe you remember this. 45:14 In the cross, 45:18 In the cross 45:22 Be my glory 45:26 Ever 45:31 Till my raptured soul 45:36 Shall find rest 45:41 Beyond the river 45:54 Once I was clothed in the rags of my sin 46:02 Wretched and poor, lost and lonely within 46:09 But with wondrous compassion 46:12 The King of all kings 46:16 In pity and love, took me under His wings 46:23 Oh, yes, oh yes 46:27 I'm a child of the King 46:31 His royal blood now flows in my veins 46:38 And I who was wretched and poor now can sing 46:45 Praise God, praise God 46:49
