00:01 As you know our time comes and goes so quickly,
00:02 but there's some very important details 00:04 that we wanna leave you with, 00:06 and I'll turn the time over to you. 00:07 Tell us what else we can expect 00:10 and what else is pertinent to this program, David? 00:12 Well, so one of the things 00:14 that we really wanted to highlight on this 00:16 is our desire to help people 00:20 who are interested in transitioning 00:22 into the mission field after they get out. 00:25 So, as Jeremy alluded to earlier, 00:28 we have home students who come in 00:29 and they want to be mission pilots. 00:33 But what we found is the financial obligations 00:37 of all the additional flight training 00:39 on top of tuition builds up 00:41 a fair amount of debt for most people, 00:44 and that debt becomes a detriment to people 00:49 who are working in the mission field. 00:51 Right because you are not in the mission field 00:52 to make lot of money. 00:54 That's right. That's right. Heavenly. 00:55 And most of the aviation organizations 00:58 that we have are self-supporting, 01:00 so you're building your own finances 01:03 and your own support group. 01:04 And I mean, I've been there, 01:07 it's a tough life 01:09 to have to do all your own fund raising 01:12 and to survive on it. 01:15 So what we would like to do 01:17 is through the Andrews organization, 01:22 we have some mission money 01:24 and we'd like to get more mission money 01:26 so that we are specifically helping our students 01:30 offset the cost of the flight training 01:34 through mission service. 01:36 So if they sign on for 01:38 a 2-year, 5-year, 7- year commitment, 01:41 we are helping pay off their student loans 01:45 as they're in their mission field 01:47 and building their opportunities 01:50 to be abroad while they're working. 01:52 That's wonderful incentive, 01:54 you know, so, 01:55 anything you wanna add to that, Jonathan or Jeremy? 01:57 Ah, no, I mean, that's our priority 01:59 is to send people to the mission field, 02:00 both foreign and domestic. 02:01 And if they have other responsibilities, 02:04 if we can take that off their plate 02:05 and allow them to focus on their mission, 02:09 that would be pretty fantastic. 02:11 So where do you fly from here? 02:15 You head back to Andrews? 02:16 Heading back to Andrews. 02:17 Wow, you know, safe flying for all of you. 02:20 I would say after this program, 02:22 I'll say you're clear for takeoff. 02:24 But thank you for coming here today. 02:25 You know, if you're listening to the program and watching, 02:27 you may be driving thinking, 02:29 well I don't wanna drive all the time, 02:30 I wanna fly some times. 02:31 I want my life to, 02:33 sort of speak, my career to get off the ground, 02:35 the term that we often use 02:37 which is very pertinent to this program today. 02:39 And thank you, David, thank you, Jonathan, 02:41 thank you, Jeremy for coming here today 02:43 and letting our viewers and listeners know 02:45 that, yeah, there is a future out there for aviation. 02:48 The three angels do want to fly 02:50 and we can connect them together 02:51 to carry the gospel throughout all the world, 02:54 both in the mission field abroad 02:55 and here in America. 02:57 God bless you until we see you again. |
