00:01 I hope you've enjoyed this time with Ostap Dzyndra.
00:05 And, Ostap, before we actually sign off, 00:09 I wanted to give you the opportunity to tell a story 00:13 about what happened to one of your volunteers 00:16 when you were at the Central California Conference, 00:21 I guess campground area. 00:24 Yes, the Lord provided an opportunity for us 00:27 to partner with the Central California Conference 00:29 where we would come in 00:31 with a group of volunteers of 26, 00:33 and we would help to rebuild and restore the campgrounds 00:37 just in time for camp meeting. 00:39 And I recall a group of young girls that came on 00:43 and, you know, they were shy, they were scared, 00:46 they didn't know how to get their fingernails dirty, 00:48 and there was an opportunity for mentoring. 00:52 And so we provided some paint, we provided some boards, 00:56 we provided the nail gun 00:57 and the paint machine, and we said, 00:59 "Listen, this is your opportunity right here 01:01 to give back to the camp." 01:03 And so they mixed their own color. 01:05 And what was their project? 01:07 They had a storage shed like a janitor's closet 01:11 that had been standing there 01:14 next to the maintenance building 01:15 for a long time 01:16 and hadn't really been taken care of 01:18 or repainted or refinished, 01:19 and so they're going to clean this building, 01:22 they're going to replace the broken boards, 01:24 and then they're going to make it brand new again. 01:26 Amen. 01:27 These are young little girls. 01:28 Young teenage girls that never painted, 01:33 never installed wood boards, 01:35 never did trim work on building, 01:37 never did masking on the windows and doors, 01:40 but this opportunity to help them 01:43 break out of their comfort zone, 01:45 help them to try something different 01:48 really made an impact on their life 01:49 because they were challenged 01:52 to try something different and then had, 01:56 you know, the opportunity 01:57 to receive the biggest gratitude 02:00 from the staff there at the campgrounds 02:03 but also to be able to receive the blessing, 02:07 the satisfaction of knowing that we have done something 02:09 that's going to last 02:11 and help to serve the needs of this area 02:14 for years and years to come. 02:15 And I recall her telling me that 02:18 because of the Bible studies that we had in the morning, 02:21 because of the devotional time we spent in the small groups 02:24 that we spent throughout this mission project 02:28 helped her in her walk with the Lord, 02:30 helped her to begin 02:32 to have a daily devotional with the Lord. 02:34 Amen. 02:36 And so that is our appeal to our audience as well as 02:38 that you would find the time and the opportunity 02:42 to reach out with your friends, with your church 02:46 to go somewhere and to impact the community 02:49 for the Lord and for the gospel. 02:50 Amen and amen. 02:52 And you know what this young lady came back 02:54 for another trip and met his cousin 02:55 and they're engaged to be married. 02:57 Ostap, thank you so much 02:59 for what you're doing for the glory of the Lord. 03:00 And we just want to encourage those of you at home 03:05 that you can go to their website 03:08 and sign up and do something 03:11 for the glory of God. 03:12 May His grace be with you today 03:15 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. 03:17 Bye-bye.
