00:01 You know, shortly before the break,
00:02 we talked about, you know, 00:04 what are some of the needs of the ministry? 00:07 Well, we didn't talk about 00:09 how people can get in touch with you. 00:11 Yeah. 00:12 So the best way to get in touch with me 00:14 is through email. 00:16 And if people want to come and volunteer, 00:21 they can just email me. 00:22 Okay. What's your email address? 00:24 The email address is Tim@SaltMin.org 00:27 Okay, Tim@SaltMin.org Tim@SaltMin.org. 00:30 Okay. Yeah. 00:32 If they would like to make a donation, 00:33 they can contact us, we'll let them know 00:35 how's the best way to make a donation. 00:38 If they're visiting Siem Reap to visit the Angkor Wat temple 00:41 so for some other reason. 00:42 We'd loved to have them come out on Sabbath 00:45 and worship with us. 00:46 We're happy to give them a tour around our campus 00:48 to show them what God has done. 00:51 And, of course, we'd love them to come 00:52 and visit Butterfly Paradise. 00:54 Yes, yes. 00:56 Now you've had a nightmare. Yes. 00:58 Let's transition into that. 00:59 What was your nightmare about? 01:02 Well, after doing ministry for the Lord for nearly, 01:05 well, 34 years, 01:07 I can look back on what God has done with my life 01:10 and how He's used my life to influence people 01:14 for the kingdom of God. 01:16 And sometimes I start to reflect and think, 01:20 what if I had said no to God? 01:23 What if I had followed my dream for my life, 01:28 rather than God's dream for my life? 01:31 And when I start to think about that, 01:34 I see a whole lot of things very differently. 01:38 If we think about the orphanage, 01:41 I see a whole lot of kids 01:42 that wouldn't have had their care, 01:44 particularly the HIV kids 01:47 that we've cared for in our orphanage 01:48 because they wouldn't want to be in other orphanages, 01:50 they probably would have died. 01:53 All these kids that wouldn't have got education, 01:56 like they have now, 01:57 they would have been out caring for the cows. 01:59 And that would be their life job 02:04 unless they're working on a building site, 02:05 but now they're going to university, 02:06 getting education, teachers, accountants, 02:11 those sorts of things. 02:12 So, if I said no to God, 02:16 it would have changed the lives of a lot of people 02:18 in a negative way. 02:19 Yes. 02:23 If I said no to God, 02:26 a lot of people wouldn't have heard the gospel. 02:30 Because we said, yes, we would do this lay training. 02:34 Yes, we would put all of our financial resources 02:37 into making this ministry happen. 02:39 Yes, we would trust God. 02:41 We train these 400 people. 02:44 Some of those are pastors today, 02:46 many of them are church planters too, 02:48 and they have brought hundreds, thousands to Christ. 02:52 If we hadn't done that training, 02:55 maybe God wouldn't have found somebody else. 02:57 And those people wouldn't have known God. 02:59 So that's why I say it's like a nightmare 03:01 to think, God, if I had said no, 03:03 all these people wouldn't be in Your kingdom. 03:05 Yes. 03:06 That's a pretty frightening thing. 03:07 That is a pretty frightening thing. 03:09 You know, but praise the Lord 03:10 that you answered the calling that He placed on your life. 03:14 You know, there are a lot of people 03:15 that have probably given their hearts 03:17 to the Lord as a result. 03:19 And like you said, 03:20 there's those that are employed 03:22 as a result to be answering the calling 03:24 that God has placed on your life. 03:26 Thank you so much for... Thank you so much. 03:27 Sharing with us today, 03:29 and what you're doing in ministry. 03:31 Until next time, God bless. |
